In all the pantry cars of Indian railway pantry car ,they are nit providing biscuit with tea.The qulity of food is aldo extremely bad.

Indian Railway — Link fail

I went today at PRS counter at Amravati railway station in Maharashtra on 8.45 pm. but there was link down and wait there upto 9.30 pm. and this problem is daily rutine at that particular time. our precious time waisted there without our fault. If there timing is upto 10.00 pm. then there must be link . I[censored] could not solve this problem then cut the timing upto 8.00 pm. so that we get relife from your bad service in the world. And give your officers rest so that they work properly.Take care... thanks...
Dear Sir / Mam,

Myself Vivek Kumar was travelling by 2017 Deheradun shatabdi Express on 04-07-09 from New Delhi to Meerut n then i asked to TTE ( Mr Raj Kumar) to extend my ticket to saharanpur, but TTE asked me to pay an amount of Rs. 940/- while this has to be paid by a without ticket person. If TTE can not ;extended ticket as per railway norm then why railway asked people to use this facility?

I trired to log complaint on complaint cell but I didn't get any positive response from their side.

Kindly take immediate action against that TTE ( Mr. Raj Kumar), because only due to him i reached saharanpur late while my father was hospitalized at that moment, so this kind of co operation i got in country's so called ideal trains and that staff.

i want to know from railway ministry that if he plan for any railway root then how much year his target to complete the railway track????
in our place route is on progress from 2001 but it is not complete till now.

in gujarat ANAND railway station on tuesday and saterday police interrupted passengers when crossing railway track thats a good things but this rules is only for gents not for girls?

as a girl i was standing on platform no .1 and two men were crossing railway track and one girl also crossing railway track but police man did not stop that girl and those two men were interrupted and arrested. so i got shocked what is this? so please take action against this...

rules should be same for all...

my complain is on ANAND railway station RPF never arrest girls when crossing railway track and arrest boys when they crossing railway track.

sir i travelled by train no 9024 firozpur mumbai janta express on 08/07/2009 from mansa punjab to hazrat nizamudin when i alightened nizaamudin and going on the platform i person in civil dress without name plate asked me to show my ticket i showed him the ticket he said give me rs 400 for 4 tickets or u will be charged rs 1200 as fine i asked for fine to be charged for what he stated misbehaving with me and threatened me of locking me with my family with the railway police we qurelled for about an hour at last i said u charge any amount and give me the recept then he charged rs 1200 from me and gave me the recept sir we have trvelled from mansa to nizamudin for rs 280 for four persons and he has charged rs 1200. then i went to compalint the whole story on the compalint book abailble at nizamudin station mr meena a slim person was there incharge of compaint book . he said he will not give me the compalint book and go away do whatever u can the details of the recept of rs 1200 is F 571819 and ticket no is 2756 to 2759 mymobile no is [protected] i am always ready to be present any where please refund my rs 1200 back and take serious action against the TT THANK U

I am a traveller of railway. according to railway deptt. they have a reservation system called centerlised reservation system. i think they don't have antthing like this if they have so i want to all detail acc. to RTI about it. I have booked a ticket on 26 may frm delhi to kopar gaon goa exp. pnr no [protected] At the booking time Waiting list was 10/16( 6 ticket Diffrence) but now its 146/205 (59 diffrence) But still no upgration in my Pnr status.So where is centrlised automatic upgration reservtion system.the diffrence change 6 to 60 but no upgartion in my ticket. so Dear Mamta ji Plz announce that u have a maual reservation system and opreator are railway employee. Ekta Express 4975 - The Great Difficulty Express
The Ekta express has been the great difficulty express for the people of the Bhiwani, Rohtak, Gohana, Panipat districts of Haryana. It is a train with the burden to carry 1000's of daily pessengers, families, bussinessmen, students and tourists travelling between Bhiwani and Chandigarh. The major problem is that train is linked to Himalyan Queen Express in its common route from Panipat to Kalka. We understand that it may be saving the running costs but the share for the Bhiwani/Rohtak side passengers is way less. We have got only 5 general boggies for our share, whereas only one train runs from Bhiwani to Chd and Chd to Bhiwani in a day. Dehli, Chandigarh is linked to with many a trains and it would be great if Ekta Express is expanded to accomodate more pessengers. Ac-Sleeper coaches would be a great advantage for senior citizens, bussiness class, families and tourists. Their may be considered a fesibilty to run the train independently as it can than be run on its own saving the half an hour delay at the Panipat station as per the linkage of two trains.

This is also an appeal to people travelling on this route, to please comment and raise a voice for the betterment of the railways in the district.

We would be thankfull to Indian Railways if our problem is considred for the feasibility surveys.

Indian Railways — passenger treatment

oMy oofice had purchased a tiket for travel on Sathabde train for travel on the 15th of july. My expectation was to travel in the morning as I didn't expect a ticket for the evening train. Nevertheless I arrived at the station expecting to take the morning train. To my utter disbelief the TTE informs me that my ticket ws for the evening train. Realising it was my mistake, I enquired if there were vacant seats in the excecutive compartment. I was informed that there were 12 vacent seats. I requested the TTE to accomodate me for travel. He was nice enough and informed me that he would charge me doule of the fare and treat me on par with a ticketless traveller!
That is the most ridiculous statement I've heard in a long time. In a time wher you have Ministers from Bihar who have turned a blind eye to ticketless travel and supported major atrocities in rail travel, telling a passenger who has the required travel ticket and treat him like a ticket less traveller is bizzare.

I can understand if the train is full. I've travelled extensively by train the world over and have been accomodated if I've been in possesion of a valid travel document. The TTE tells me that these are the rules and he is helpless. I trust that thet the Indian Railways who have an exclusive budget for its employees and their welfare should also start treating passengers with dignity. If a passenger is in possesion of a travel document for a particular sector, irrespective of date of travel within its validity, the company should accomodate the passenger if seats are available rather than letting the seats go empty. Charge a rebooking fee or something similar, but don't put him or her on par with a ticketless passenger!

I trust that the anguish of a genuinine passsenger will be taken cognisnce of and given a correct redressal.

these are loopholes for TTEs to make money and the Railways seems to be giving a blanket permit for their employees to "make hay while the sun shines!"

i want to complain about train stopage of express train at khatauli railway station.
it is a city from where thousands of peaple go for their daily to delhi and to other cities.

but mant of express train donot stop here . we all the peaple of khatauli request to railway minister Misses Mamta Banarji that She should solve to our problem.

problems...

1--- there should be stopage of some expess train like (a) Jalander express.. (b) Utkal express
(c) Ahamadbad express.
2--- railway line/train should be double line as well as Eletric train.


we hope that you will takt some good action for us...

Subject: Complaint against corruption of high level officers as they are favoring wrong people.

With due respect, I, citizen of India, want to bring in to your kind attention about the harassment of a staff member by the higher officers, as they are hiding their own mistakes and forcing all the punishments to an innocent staff member. Following is the brief on the incident:

Mr A.C. Ojha (JTI, posted in New Delhi) was on duty in Gauhati Rajdhani (Train no:2436, Dated:10-may-2009). There were only two staff members in the train(I guess these many staff members are not sufficient). At Chapra station 8 people boarded the train. As they were without ticket, Mr A. C. Ojha requested them to have a receipt but they didn’t want to pay for the receipt so at the next station (Hazipur), they were asked to leave the train and they were charged at that station(Hazipur). And Mr A.C ojha got punished for no reason.

Now my questions are

1. What is the mistake of Mr A.C. Ojha?
2. There was no security force in the train between Chapra to Hazipur. Why?
3. Why Mr A.C Ojha is getting all the punishment?(I think he was doing his duty only.)
4. If you have any high contact you can do whatever you want, is this democracy?(As those 8 people were having some contacts with rail officers)
5. Is anyone having high contacts is permitted to travel without ticket?

Kindly do some high level of inquiry regarding above incident.

Dear Sir,
I filed a online TDR on 16/02/2009 for Refund due to train cancelled on 13/02/2009. The PNR is [protected]. I have to face severe inconvinience due to the train cancellation as the train timing was at 10.35 pm in the night. Train cancellation was declared at arround 10-10.15. In the night there was no alternative way to go to my destination and the railway department took no responsibility of the passengers who booked tickets. It was a painful day to return itself as we have to pay double of the taxi face as it was night.

Now after filling the TDR, it moves from TDR Entered, Admin Approved, CCM Registered and finally CCM Regreted after 5-6 months. Surprisingly for no reason. I have already send so many mails to IRCTC customer care and to [protected]@irctc.co.in, but donot get any reply.

This shows the quality of the services of the Indian Railways. Should Raiway Minister will give a look to the matter and have an fair idea how is the services to the common man being provided by Railways...
The Arrival time of 8616 Hatia Ranchi Howrah Express at Howrah is 6.35 AM. But I am surprised that, The train could not enter in to the Howrah Station at right time. It has been observed that the train is getting late by 1 to 1.5 Hour.This problems come after Santragachi. By stopping the Express Train, 4-5 Local Trains were passing to their destination.
This is not a problem of one day. I have been suffering in these train for last 3 years.You are requested not to mention the arrival time at the ticket.

TATA — smoking in Railways coaches

Dear All,

My madhusudhan, i have been travelling from Mumbai to Pune since last 3 months through Mumbai - Pune interciry Express ( 7.00 AM ) or Deccan Express ( 8.00 AM ) .

I have monthly season Ticket between Mumabi and Pune . To my surprise all the regular passengers are usally smoke cigarates in the coach itself and they are not bother about co - passengers and etc. etc.


When any one object the for teh same and all the group of gang usally shout and try to over come the situation and they continue to smoke evern after .



Its becoming very difficult to travel in raileway coaches as there was no inspection / objection from any one ..


I request railways authoroties to provide the smoke free journey for the passengers whose are Prefering train journey over bus journey ( Bcz of pollution and etc ..)



I request the concern authoroties to take up sincere actiion and provide a healty environment to teh rail passengers
