[Resolved] Indiatimes Email Service — Violation of spam and privacy laws | |
Friday, October 17, 2008 Indiatimes mail 'deals' folder violates internet privacy, spam laws-17Oct2008 The deals folder created by them without my permission in my email, does not let me spam, delete the mails in it, or delete the folder.I think it is a gross violation of my privacy for them to create such a folder in my in box without my permission and spam my mail box. I have other issues with their email service for example I cannot move the mail I am reading into the folder of my choice, I have to go back to the inbox etc.This deals folder business smacks of internet violation of privacy and official spamming. They should discontinue this with immediate effect or customers will be forced to either close the service or take appropriate concerted action to protect their privacy. I fully agree. The Deals folder is a total nusiance and full of spam. I cannot even delete it. Indiatimes should rermove it immediately.

the above mentioned complaints is very true...the Deals folder in the mailbox is nuisance should be removed by indiatimes immediately...it sucks!!!
I completely agree with this.Not sure why this folder is introduced.Moreover not even aloowing user to delete the mails.

Guys, you can delete the entire folder called DEALS.just after logging in you vil find an EDIT option just beside the 'Folder' just go into that n you'll find options for deleting the entire folder n contents of the folder.
