    i dont understand why irctc is not planning to restrict the agent ,so that the people will get the ticket,but i think irctc itself promoting the business of agent. people who are in queue for entire night,they dont get ticket bcoz ticket is booked by agent .i request irctc officials to catch the people who are using software to book the entire train,i think due this the entire train is booked within few seconds ,people who wait for the whole night dont get ticket,even i[censored] r having first number of PRS counter.The more important is there is huge network of these people who r bypassing the initial steps and directly booking the train, no the ticket. I would request irctc to find their network and stop them.

    IRCTC — frequency of train from south to lucknow/ald/bsb/mughalsarai

    Sir, The frequency of trains from Coimbatore to Lucknow/Kanpur/ Allahabad/Varanasi/ mughalsarai is very low or almost nil. Please increase the frequency and also add coaches during rush periods as it takes more than 48 hrs of journey of destination. Thanking you.

      IRCTC — money deducted from my account but the ticket was not booked.

      i had reservered a e-ticket on 9th by using my debit card.
      the amont of rs.1195 was deducted but my ticket was not booked.
      so plz kindly check into the matter.

      Today (26/11/2009) I have done an online transaction to purchase a ticket on 2533 Pushpak Exp from Lucknow Jn to Bhopal Jn on 28/11/2009 for Sri Rajesh Uplavdiya. Unfortunately after the payment was made through SBI payment gateway, the error, "REDIRECT=https://www.irctc.co.in/cgi-bin/bv60.dll/irctc/booking/bankrespon... came up without giving me the confirmation of the payment and neither the ticket is generated.this happens two times & money was debited two time from my a/c .(Rs 359 +359)

      This is really embarrasing situation and IRCTC is expected to help me at the earliest with the ticket if the payment is already confirmed at their end. If not refund the same amount.

      Expecting a reply as soon as possible.

      Today (03/12/2009) I have done an online transaction to purchase a ticket on train no 1015 kushinagar Exp from Bhopal Jn to Lucknow Jn on13/12 /2009 for Sri Rajesh Uplavdiya.       Sir I (Shiv Kishor) booked a ticket on date 31/07/2010 From Lucknow to Jagadhari in LKO CDG Exp. 2231 AC -3 B-1 – 0061/ MB for the date 14/08/2010 through I.R.C.T.C . Which PNR No is [protected] & Transaction ID is [protected].The Ticket amount is 689 including service charge. But from my A/C Rs 689 had been deducted three times against one Ticket (Rs -1378/Extra).

      Till today I have not received refund of Rs 1378/ which were deducted more .So please arrange to release above amount as early as possible.

      Today morning i booked a E-ticket from bhuj to delhi through IRCTC. After finishing booking of ticket with my SBI debit account there was an error accured. Finally i found that the money is deducted from my account but ticket is not booked.

        Hi,

        While booking a ticket from irctc my transaction had failed. I could not get the ticket but money got deducted from my account.
        When I checked the transaction history of failed transaction I found that the payment i.e refund from the IRCTC has not setteled
        and the refund details says that "Payment Not Received From Bank". I am not able to rectify where is the issue whether the
        irctc did not refunded the amount or the bank was not able to collect the refunded amount from the irctc.

        I am irctc agent. journey date train has been cancelled .then file tdr process irctc rules after 3 months payment refund . but after four months jouney date departure no responce from irctc . please help me .

          Refer to Pnr [protected] , Transaction ID [protected], NDLS -Sdah (Train 12260), Travel date - 25th Dec. , booked under Tatkal was cancelled under
          Tdr zone eastern on 26th December, Ref ekt[protected]. The train was delayed for more than three hours and hence passengers not travelled.
          We filed TDR on 26th Dec. and Status is showing "UNDER PROCESS". Till date we have not received the refund, even after regularly sending reminders.

As per the norms mentioned in the IRCTC site, the amount should get credited within 2 months, but as of 15th June 2009, it has not been credited.           I had booked a ticket with Irctc. But I was not able to make travel. So, I had filed a TDR as per IRCTC procedures to get the due refund (some 50%).               I have booked for e-tickets for 2 persons with PNR no. [protected] on dated 01.02.2013 and Rs. 550/- charged from my SBM account. due to some resons we are unable to travelling, so I filed TDR on dated 05.02.2013 at 10.53 P.M. & received reference no. ekt[protected].

              I am pankaj mandwe( Transaction Id - [protected] ) 24/02/09 booked ticket by online booking of sahyandri express ( Pune - Neral ) but because of some reasons transaction not completed but the amount has been debited from my Axis bank account. so let me know about the trouble.

              Hi,

              I booked a e-ticket (on 28th Dec 2009) for my sister to travel from Hyderabad to New Delhi on 30/12/2009 under tatkal quota. But on the day of journey the train was late more than 3 hours and hence she could make her journey. As per railway rule, if train is late by more than 3 hrs from starting destination (in my case it is Hyderabad itself), TDR can be filed for refund of the ticket money. Therefore I filed TDR on 31-Dec-2009. After 2 months of TDR filing date I got a mail that Refund is not approved without stating any reason for non-approaval.
              I am requesting you to help me in order to get back of ticket amount. Please find the ticke and TDR details in attachment.

I received a message in my mobile number [protected] informing that the ticket has been cancelled and refund ordered. the ticket was booked by using SBI Debit card. But so far the refund amount of Rs. 1585 has not been credited to my bank account. Please verify and take necessary action.

                I was treated as travelling without ticket by the TTE because my age and that of my wife got reversed by mistake while booking eticket. As we were travelling on SMS message where age is not given, I was not aware about and it came to notice when TTE was checking the POI. He charged full fare i.e. Rs.580.00 each and also Rs.250.00 as penalty for each ticket, for which he issued a EFT and alloted us the same berths.

                As I was not sure whether I can file online TDR, I took up the matter with customer care IRCTC by sending email to [protected]@irctc.co.in and [protected]@irctc.co.in along with scanned copy of all documents. The reply from [protected]@irctc.co.in was that i cannot file TDR and reply from [protected]@irctc.co.in was that they would process for TDR and asked me to send the original EFT. This contradiction from the same agency has left me confused.

                I would like that a clear advice should be given to a clear question, instead of confusing the customers. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHETHER I CAN FILE TDR ONLINE UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES OR NOT.

                This is regarding the toilets provided in Ratnachal express which departs from Vskp to BZA and back every day.

                The flushing systems in that coaches were not at all usable by the passengers as the sufficient water is not comes out to flush.

                the system provided is button pressing as 90% are unaware how to use the flushing system.

                as this train is always highly crowded May i request your kind attention to look in to this and do some thing so that we can travel happily.

                  Unfortunately after the payment was made through SBI ATM cum DEBIT card payment gateway, the error, "REDIRECT=https://www.irctc.co.in/cgi-bin/bv60.dll/irctc/booking/bankrespon... came up without giving me the confirmation of the payment and neither the ticket is generated.The money ( Rs 693.00 ) has already been debited from my SBI acc.but i have not received ticket confirmation. when i tried 2nd time i got the ticket. but twice the transaction have been done.

                  I request IRCTC to help me at the earliest and refund the same amount.

                    We have made 3 bookings (3 tickets each) through IRCTC's website. All the three trains were late by more than 3 hours and I applied for TDR within stipulated time frame. TDR has been approved for all the bookings, however, approved amount is only 50% of the travel ticket, while it should be 100% since the train was late for more than 3 hours.

                    Request you to look into the matter and act accordingly. It has been more than 3 months that the issue has been open.

                    I had booked two tickets from Secunderabad to Howrah PNR number [protected] and one of the tickets got confirmed the second one was wait listed. I filed a TDR in April 2011 for the refund TID-[protected] and EKT-[protected] for the refund, but till date I have not received any refund amount inspite of several reminders and communication with the railway officials. The railway officials says the request is not approved, I do not know the reason why it is not approved when ticket was not confirmed and passenger did not travel in the ticket and TDR was very well filed within the timeline.

                    This type of response from teh governemnt is totally unacceptable, which is not initiating a refund for last eight months.

                            Hello Sir,

                            I am facing issue with Log in to IRCTC website. It shows invalid password even after getting new password reset through the options they provided.

                            This is consistently happening for the last 5 to 6 months. This is something internally can be solved by the net work Engineers who are responsible for this error. I have complaint registered through emails and via phone of IRCTC customer care.

                            When we contact them. They do respond with some excuse related to IRCTC website and provide temporary password and I am able to log in with it.

                            But when I try after two weeks or So, it fails to log in with the password they provided.!!!

                            The bottom line is they know this is a serious issue and not trying to rectify at the earliest and helping the IRCTC users from trouble log in !!. I feel this is some kind act of preventing or reducing the online registration facility !!! which will keep away agents and commission mediums !!??

                                  My wife was supposed to travel from howrah to mumbai on a ticket booked through an IRCTC agent in Mira Road, mumbai. The train timing was 3:15 in the afternoon from howrah railway station but it was more than 6 hours late so she did not travel on that ticket. I asked the agent to file a TDR as according to the railway/IRCTC rules i am entitled to receive 100% refund if the train is late by more than 3 hours.
