[Resolved]  Lenovo — New Year Offer Gift

Hello,

Reference to your confirmation for the Lenovo New Year offer as attached below. I had purchased my Y 510 laptop on 8th of Jan 2008 from Vishal Mega Mart Delhi and subsequently on 25th Jan 2008 I couriered all the required documents to your agent Channel Technologies-NOIDA. I am dejected to inform that I have no information regarding issue of free gift as promised in spite making a personal visit to NOIDA to enquire about the status. It was shocking to find out that your agent had no idea whether my draft was received and no status at all on either receipt of draft or worst issue of free gift.No body in the office could give any information on either receipt of draft or issue of free gift.

The whole advertisement of free gift from a reputed company like lenova seems to be a farce as you have handed over your responsibility to outside agency who is virtually sleeping to say the least.

Least I expect from you is the acknowledgment of this mail and at least information whether at all Lenovo has any intention fro arranging for the gift against massive advertisement over media.

Lenovo — keyboard problem

I am using a lenevo laptop but the number keys are not functioning, some of "F" function keys and the delete keys so i would like to know is it weather software problem or other problem and how can i solve it ? please give me a correct response
I purchase my lenovo laptop one year back .It has a three year warantee.I am an M.B.A. syudent and college provide dme with laptop.my laptop is continuously showing grains, crashes when it is used for a long time ie 45 min or more.My laptop S/N; is EB07831724.I am a person from kerala, Kottayam . Even though it has been repaired twice complaint still persists.Service was made at gloria services Kottayam, authorised service centre of lenovo.

I have purchased a leneve laptop (LENLAP0092 LENEVO LAPTOP 2958 95Q-IS295895QCB0502053) from Computer World/ Kolkata-700 001 on 23.9.2009.As per commitment of Lenevo industries there was a provision of gift againt purchase of leptop.But, it is communicated by the authority of Computer World that the gift is not avaiable at present and same will be given on receipt from Lenevo Industries. Please look into the matter and direct Computer World to hand over the gift as per scratch card.

lenovo committed to provide me that . the rim data cards @ 999. but they did not completed their comitments . when i have purchase lenova laptop from riddi sales (hi tech solutions ) raipur they committed me the deepavali offer . on 2 nd october 2009.they asked me to collect within 2 days, then 1 week & 10 days now after 1 month . they really dont know fair bussiness, after my several calls to customer care no. no use .

Lenovo — IBM laptop servicing

Hi,
I have given my IBM thinkpad machine R52 model for servicing at Lenovo care in Andheri - Mumbai. I have taken an warranty pack from RT Outsourcing Services Ltd. Delhi. (They have confirmed that warranty covers all software related problems and hinges as well)

Problem: the machince restarts on its own and sometimes the screen distort automatically. The hinges of my laptop has loosen because of which the lid shakes a lot

The customer care at lenovo has informed me that it is a problem of mother board and will be replaced. I have given my laptop for servicing on 20th Novembers and was told that i will be serviced in 3-4 days.

I have been making calls every single day at lenovo care for follow up but there is not imporvement. Every time i make a call i have been told of different issues. No one know what is the current status and the problem in the laptop.

Regarding hinges it was told that it will not be serviced. This is purely the breach of the warranty conditions.

I'm really fed up with the kind of service lenovo is giving. I have been using my laptop for all my office work and since last two weeks my work has been hampered a lot. I'm facing a lot of problem at my office from my seniors.

I have no idea how to resolve this issue, please help me in resolving this as lenovo is not bothered about their customers problem.

They have ordered for mother board but that new mother board is not functioning properly and was re-ordered. The problem is still not fixed
