My 5 years old fully automatic washing machine (LG tromm) stopped functioning suddenly one day. I called the LG customer care and the service personnel came promptly to look at what has happened. The first question he asked me was to check if I still had warranty for the machine. After I said no, he checked the machine and told me that because of over voltage the front panel circuit is damaged. The circuit has to be replaced at a cost of Rs. 5000/-. I asked him, “Why the circuit can’t be repaired?”

Being an Electronics engineer myself, I have a fair understanding of what could be the fault. Usually these circuits have a regulator and a small transformer to supply dc voltage to the IC’s. In most cases, the transformer coil gets damaged because of over voltage (especially when the transformer is poorly designed). The cost of transformer even in the most pessimistic case is not more than Rs. 500/-. I really felt cheated and decided not to go for LG service. I also made an implicit decision that I will never buy an LG product in future.

So much spent on LG marketing is waste if they don't care for the existing customers.

    different dealer charge differently on lg or orther products. in this matter i should suggest that why well known companies not writting the actual price with dealers margin. These companies writting mrps but there is large difference between the prices that consumer pays to the dealer and it varies consumer to consumer. My suggestion is that companies should write the actual price so that no need to bargain.

      I had booked 2 nos. window AC on behalf of my company M/s Kisan Irrigations Ltd, E-3 Sector 3 NOIDA 201301. The same was booked thru their dealer M/s Ace Technomark in NOIDA against 100% advance payment in favour of LG Electronics. As per the terms mentioned in their offer the ACs were to be delivered within a week's time but even after 2 weeks we are yet to receive the same. The dealer if of no help and is dilly dallying and passing the buck to LG. At LG no one is answering the phone. We feel that we have been taken for a ride and made to cough up advance payment so that we can not buy any other brand. This tantamount to serious breach of trust and fraud by LG as well as the dealer. We wish authorities take some kind of action against these companies who take people for ride.

        I have contacted LG 24X7 customer care on 18th of April 2009 regarding the service of two split air conditioners installed in my house at Alekhya Farms, Yenkepally Village, Moinabad, Hyderabad, 500075. I was told that the technician will visit us the very next day. How ever nobody turned up, hence we called them again to renew our old request for service. We were again told the same thing, that the technician would arrive any time the next day. We kept waiting for him, but he never turned up. This has been happening almost everyday till date (3rd May 2009). Everyday we were given a new request ID, but nobody even bothered to call us or visit us. Which is why I am here to register a complaint. Please help me out.

        Three years back, i had installed two nos of L.G ACs(one split and anothr is window) at my home.Again on March this year again I have purchased one more for my business establishment. During the installation of the last AC, I lodged a complaint to the service engineer about the my home ac. the service engineer assured me that he will come to my residence on the very next day, He din't come for repair. Till today for so many time I have requested them to attend my call, despite my several request they are only committing me for the next day, but non of them attending my complaint.I with my other family members are facing a lot of problem for the defective AC in this hot summer.
        Should I file a consumer case against the Company ?
        sir i have purchased lg window air conditioner, in july but no service is done yet, please get the service be done at the earliest.
        I have purchased 1 ton split LG ac. The guys kept the outdoor unit infront of somebody else's house...they are complaining. I have compalined to change the place. The first compliant was given on 16th April 2010. Till 20th April 2010 noone even called up and attended the problem...They look like cheating . Noone talks the truth. The service is obsolutely obsurd and unaccountable. Dont ever buy LG acs. You will cry oneday

        myself I.N.TANDON from udaipur[raj.]would like to complain about your service centre CLASSIC ENTERPRISES staff for not cooperating and harassing me. . my window ACwas having problem of compressor so i registered my complain on7of june with complain no as follows[protected].after so many reminders these people came and they even didnt took our AC I myself have to take AC at the centre.they told that within one week we will receive our AC but after so much of followup and many reminders I got it on 25of June that to their auto driver came and he fitted it .no engineer and nothing.in your company does auto driver fits the AC.I have heard so much of your company and then gone for LG AC. but IAM sorry to say that ur services are very very poor with no responsible person to attend the customers. they talk rudely and with no proper response.I am a senior citizen and faced a lot of harassment .kindly look into the matter seriously as in near future nobody else faces such problems.this is my humble request to your department.

          my name is amit bhalla r/o 403, block no.16, minstry of health appartments, sriniwaspuri, new delhi 110065 with mobile no [protected].i have bought 1.5 ton lg window a/c from next retail shop, lajpat nagar on 01.05.2009 on cash payment of 15000/- with product code no.[protected].person has installed a/c at my res.address but at same time a/c was not working.i made several complaints to lg coustmer care with id is N9C50210015 on 02.05.2009 but still there is no positive response from lg electronics.please see into this matter and solve my problem.

            Dear sir,
            Myself is faizal usman mailing on behalf of Dream Jewels Intl, commercial Street, Bangalore-1. We have taken AMC for both our LG airconditioners on 29-3-09 via invoice no.ARSSABANBA108/3505 & ARSSABANBA108/3507. Currently one of my AC is not cooling. I complained to the service engineer (Mohammed Ghouse mob no.[protected]) on 7/04/09 who attended my complaint & after checking told me that the unit has to be taken to their service centre. He promised me to take it within 3 days of time. When found unattended i made a call on 22-04-09 to him to enquire. To my surprise he asked me to register the complaint at customer service. He could have told me the same on 7th of April. Anyway i registered my complaint with Mr.Prasad on[protected]Ref no.S9C[protected]. He also assured me quick service. When i found no response, i again called Mr. Mohd Ghouse on 29-04-09 who assured me to take the unit on 30-04-09 morning. When he didnt turned up, i called him again on 30-04-09 afternoon. He told that he has to get 4 persons to do the job & only 2 are available. Since 1st was a holiday being May day, he guaranteed me his visit on 2nd may. Not finding him i called him up on 2nd & he told me that he will be available by evening. Again false commitments made me to call the customer service. I talked to Ajith Balakrishnan who didnt please me with his talks. He was not bothered to attend my complaint, rather than he was telling me that, they would charge for the transportation. But i never asked him anything regarding the payment. Sir, i have taken the AMC for 2 yrs & in the initial stages itself if i am facing the problem, i dont know what level of service i will be getting later on. We are a part of Dream Group having 4 showrooms(Dream World, Dream Jewels Intl, Dream Shoppe & Dream Land) in Bangalore. All are showrooms have LG AC's. With this level of service i am sure we wont be opting anymore for LG. If i am not attended at the earliest, i would not mind moving to the consumer court to get justice.

            Dear Sir,

            This is Anthony who has purchased LG AC to my wifes Beauty Parlour at Kengeri Satellite Town Model No.LSA5FS3VTY1 Sl No.802NLKL000133 purchased from Rao & Company Jaynagar and installed by Mr. Usman. AC was not working and a compalint was registered on 8th of April 2010 vide Compalint No.C[protected]. And we were committed that the problem will be resolved within 24 Hrs and finally Mr. Jagdish came to the premises on 10th of April 2010 and said he would come back and resolve the issue. And finally Mr. Jagdish called on 20th of April and said we need to get it rapired by the dealer from where we have purchased and he cannot do the job. This is something strange and unable to understand that the kind of responce we are getting from a company like LG.And today I have spoken to one Ms. Kavitha on Ph No.39010909 and she says the complaint will be attended within 24 Hrs.
            Now I am in confused state and I want somebody responsible to reply on this and sort out the issue at the earliest.

              I have paid Rs 51 641/- for LG refrigerator Model # 4084TQG4 (Rs 29 300/-) and a washing machine ( Rs 22 041/-)on 27th march 2009 to Orange electronics 114/1, Outer ring Road, Vijaya Bank Colony doddabanaswadi, Bangalore 560043, and made an invoice # 643 dated 27th march 2009.
              Orange electronics promised me to deliver the units on 30th March 2009 and also offer stating that i am eligible for plot of 3000 sq ft.for purchasing more than Rs 30 000 worth of product from them.
              Unfortunately, I did not receive my units on 30th march 2009, after several phone calls, i received the washing machine worth rupees 22 041/-.
              On the other hand, i was made to wait for over a month to get the refrigerator. After a series of phone calls, i was told that the product was not available and was, thus, forced to withdraw the amount paid. Furthermore,
              i was told that i was no longer eligible to claim the offer of the plot of land and to my annoyance, the amount was returned only after a month, that too, without any interest.
              i kindly request you to look into the matter and ensure that i am still entitled to claim the offer from the afore mentioned party.

                I am using Reliance cordless FWP model LSI-110. The battery is very bad wanted a new one. when approached, the product vendor i.e relaince web world and LG service centre replied that the battery is not available and better buy a duplicate one in the market

                same problem here. reliance reply is." buy a new hand set or surrender the number". i guess its how people become billionaires.
                ...same reply was given to me today by lg service centre 1st floor, at modi street, fort, mumbai 1.for my reliance cordless fwp model lsi-110...its really sad that they are not supporting the service of such a fine fwp phone.

                I am also using Reliance cordless FWP model LSI-110 & needed a battery desperately. Both Reliance & LG service centre viz. Paras Telecom at VT, Mumbai declined to have stock of this particular battery. We are being advised to replace cordless hand set with a corded one at our cost. Maybe will have to consider giving up the number since not interested in a wired phone.

                  Hi,

                  I am a professor in BITS, Pilani.
                  I have purchased LG DVD player from a local dealer "LG Point" in Pilani. Unfortunately the unit has
                  gone bad after 1 month. It is still in warranty period. I gave the unit back to the
                  dealer put a complaint to LG. The service man came and said to the dealer that it is fine without
                  even opening it. And the dealer returned the defected unit back to me saying it is working they
                  can't do anything. Later I inquired and found that the local service man is the friend of the dealer.
                  Then I complaint directly to the LG service but till now they have not replied (the complain has been
                  put some three months back). They are not ready to listen over the phone also.

                  In my opinion, once the product is sold they DON'T CARE. And most of the time they SELL DEFECTED PRODUCTS. There is not take back, no repair and simply cheating to the customer.

                  BOYCOTT the LG products until and unless they change their policy to support
                  customer and improve their after sale services.

                    I have lodged a complaints for servicing to lg customer care vide request no.N9C42310935 dt23.04.09 and request no.N9C42507433 dt.25.04.09.The same was forwarded to M/S Alpha services centre, Jangpura, New Delhi-110014 by customer care.Representative from the service centre visited accordingly on 26.04.09 and took the advance for repairing the tube and filling the gas and promised to pick up the air conditioner on the same day.As almost four days has passed but they have neither picked up the air conditioner nor responding over telephone.

                    I have lodged a complaints for no cooling to lg customer care vide request no. N9C51501364 date 15/05/2009.but till time no response of service centre.
                    m/s kaico deer abrasive ltd, plot no 479, barhi ind area, sonepat.- our centrilised ac timer not working .plz check it as soon as possible
                    We are from State Bank of India, Administrative office, Purnea. We have about 12 Split A/Cs installed in our offices at Purnea & Katihar (Bihar). Most of these are in for 7 years warranty of comressors. These were installed in only 2007. Only 4 out of all 12 are working. We have requested service from your Service Centre at Purnea (Bihar). But could repair only 2 A/Cs They have taken out two A/Cs at their Service Centre at Purnea long back. But have not returned it after repair. We have approached them for giving AMC for all these A/Cs but they do not seem interested and have not responded. They are not responding on their mobile nos [protected] (Pankaj) of the local service centre guy. Your company is earning a bad reputation due to this. Our office have already stopped purchasing of new A/Cs of LG make. We request you to look into the matter urgently and impress upon your service network to repair the A/Cs immediately. Please take some urgent action.
                    I had purchased an floor standing lg air conditioner model no:LPNC2863ECO on 08/02/2010.First time a complaint exists with no cooling, comp no:c[protected].they had cleared the problem in 24 hrs i felt very happy but after 2 days another comlaint raised showing CH O5 on display.again i comlained with comp no:c[protected], but there is no response for 48 hrs.After 2 days i had called to MR.Gouse head of lg service centre in guntur several times then they came nd checked my air conditioner but they cant detected the problem.even till now there is no response.please take some immediate action .AC 's are commonly used in summer season but due to this service centres customers are facing many problems.
                    I had purchased a 1.5 ton, 3 star Split air conditioner model no.LSA5CG3VF6.AN51DRM(II), S.No.002NLFD001443 on Mar. 2010. It is running good till now but no body from company side turn up for servicing though as per condition three free services to be done from company side.
                    Therefore; i request do needfull and necessry, action so that no interruption will occured in my air conditioner.

                    Dear Sir,
                    I am a senior doctor (professorial level) and medical teacher. Presently, I am serving in the globally recognized, prestigious institution of Allama I bal Medical College-Jinnah Hospital complex Lahore, Pakistan. I bought split air conditioners (A/Cs) of LG company because of’’ respect’ and recognition of LG and PEL at international level. It was common perception that both the companies treat their customers/clients with respect.

                    I feel sorry to state that I have experienced non-cooperation and ‘disrespect to customer’ so far.
                    Detail is as given below;
                    1)PEL complaint no:042583;work order ref.04107;date, 9.9.2009;paid Rs.400.

                    I had to request a large no of members of top level administration of both the companies at national and international level to solve the petty/routine issue or problem with my A/Cs. Me and my family had to suffer due to scorching heat of hot weather for a long time. Thanks to big wigs!

                    2) PEL complaint no; 15721; work order ref.nil; date, 14.4.2010; paid Rs.2100
                    3) PEL complaint no; 15722; work order ref, 11574; date, 14.4.2010; paid Rs.1500

                    After a lot of ‘struggle’, the complaints were attended. Despite spending lot of money, the problems with my A/Cs persisted. The competence and skill was not impressive.

                    4) PEL complaint no; 28825; work order ref.3819; date; 7.9.2010; paid Rs.400
                    5) PEL complaint no; 28826; date, 7.9.2010; work order ref.3818; paid Rs.400
                    These complaints (4& 5) are, still, lying unattended even after a long time (more than six months)

                    No body in PEL and /or LG bothers to attend calls/requests and there seems no monitoring regarding ‘quality /level’ of work performed by technicians.(ref; PEL complaint 2 & 3)
                    Keeping in view the previous bitter experience (ref; PELcomplaint, 1, 2, 3)I can imagine, it would be hard for me to teach medicals students, treat the patients and live comfortably/respectfully with my family in this summer.
                    Please show positive concern. Prompt, positive response is requested and expected.

                    I have LG window A/C 1.5 tone and i had a put a com-plane my a/c is not cool and its compresses is also not working and LG people taken my A/c for re-filling the gas on it but its still not working properly now also its being twice a/c has being send for repairing first time i i having problem of as leakage and second time it compresses is not working again it from last 8 day Lg people cant able to make it fix it.

                    VERY VERY poor service form LG in not going to buy LG product again .

                      Earlier i m a pride owner of LG product, i always recommend my known to's for purchsing LG product, but now i feel very sorry for them, for convincing to purchase Lg devices.
                      As i m suffering from worst services & product provided to me, i have two lg split AC one onto my shop and another one is at my home.the new one which i had purchased on 20 April 2009 but yet no one came to give me a demo.Two person came to my home come for demo without any information and just signed the paper and move out.after two days i had called the service center again but no response yet another side my shop ac, i had complained my shop ac that it giving noise problem it give a sound like a bus started, i had complain lots of time but no action taken yet.my request to higher authorities please do the needful

                      I have the same opinion about LG. I have also equipped my house with almost everything
                      from LG. But I am also facing the similar problem after my DVD player DD 345 stopped
                      working after 1 month of purchase. LG is not ready to listen after repeated calling.
                      I am a Professor in BITS Pilani and now getting harassed like anything with LG products.

                      I also checked the status about the complaints on LG products on this site and I found
                      it is enormously high as compared to other companies like Philips, videocon etc.

                      We can start a special forum where we just aware people NOT TO BUY LG PRODUCTS.

                      I have bought LG Air conditioner in March’09. Almost 6 months over. While purchasing the A/C your representative confirmed as the General Service will be provided for the product 3 times after 3 months. But so far I have not got any call from your customer care people asking for an appointment.

                      You people have said one amount while purchasing it, later on the purchase they added up to Rs.4000 in it just for installation & some A/C Rack it seems. Also we have paid more than Rs[protected] /- for electric work to your installation person. But they told us not inform this information to the company while doing the same.

                      You people have not even reduced Rs. 100 /- from it. Can you please explain why you have not yet send an Engineer to do the General Service for my AC as you Committed and Sticked on the A/C [3 Free Service].

                      Please get in touch as soon you receive this E-mail. If not I will escalate it to any of your higher official on this.

                      I heard the information from lots of LG users that the LG service is very very worst after buying the product.

                      Please don’t prove this even to me.

                        Dear Sir / Madam,

                        I am having19" TFT LG make, make and models are (W19425 802INEW63300), which was purchased on 25/05/2008 from M/s Shree Sales, 264 main Street, Mhow (M.P.) vide bill No. 1042 of same date.

                        I wish to inform you that the subjected TFT has frequently display problem, it shows 'POWER SAVING MOVE' on screen. The same has already complainted twice, first complaint No. is N8CC1401414 dated 14.12.08. Your service engineer has changed some part of TFT. After change of part it worked for some days, but again the same problem is appearing on screen and my routine work is suffering badly.

                        Kindly note the complaint and do the needful at the earliest.

                        Further I want to replace 19" to 17" TFT, as 19" is not comfertable to me. At the time of purchase of my PC I preferred 17", but due to non availablity of 17" TFT I had no option to take delivery of 19" TFT.

                        Kindly advise in this regards also.

                          LG simply CHEATS people. Their after sale service is
                          horrible. I have purchased one DVD player which worked only for 2-3 DVDs and within
                          a time of 1 month, it stopped working and not playing any DVDs. The irony of the situation is
                          the LG service man is the friend of the dealer. So he forces me by says that it is working and they returned my
                          player as it is without repairing. On repeated asking LG company, they did not responded to the
                          complaint. I have completely been cheated by LG company. They are neither repairing it nor
                          replacing it. It is still in the warranty period.

                          After selling the product they simply don't care.
                          I suggest no one should buy LG products any more. They simply harass.

                          DO NOT BUY LG PRODUCTS.
                          DO NOT TRUST the LG Point in Pilani, LG Dealer.

                            We purchased 2 split ac from Sales Emporium Kolkata on 08.05.08. Bill no- CR/004488/47/08-07 and had them installed at our office in Beck Bagan Row. After repeated complaints since 22.04.09 they attended today and reported that both the compressor needs replacement. The technician also mentioned that in all the free service proper cleaning was not done by the previous technician and he showed us the amount of dirt in the machine. We hope that LG being a reputed international brand will be more carefull in attended to customer complaints and get our compressor replaced immediately.

                              I paid Rs 41, 000/- for a LG Tromm on 14 Apr 09 with a request to deliver and install the Machine on Sunday, 19 Apr 09. This was gladly promised by the salesman at the Reliance Digital Shop on Second Floor, Ambience Mall, Gurgaon. The Machine got delivered on Sunday 19 Apr 09 but at 1930 hrs. Another Sunday, 26 Apr 09 has come and gone but no sign of Reliance Digital sending a technician to install the Machine as yet. My questions to Reliance Digital:-
                              Are you so desperate for cash that you need to cheat a pensioner like this ?
                              Or is it just a "chalta hai" culture of your Company and associates ?

                                This is a copy and paste of the chain communication with LG staff. LG products are the CHEAPEST in QUALITY and LG is the POOREST company in terms of Customer Service. Never buy anything from LG - Life's NOT Good with LG (I am starting to think that the poorest and low quality Korean product and designs are dumped in Indian market...and we as customers are paying price for it. High time we realise this and take actions...)

                                Dear Sirs,

                                This is with sheer disappointment w/ LG service and quality that I am compelled to write this email to you...w/out taking much of your time here, below is a quick summary of the harassment I am facing from LG:

                                * Bought a BRAND NEW Refrigerator from LG India Authorized Dealer on April 5th 2009
                                * Was sent a faulty, dented and damaged piece...NEVER WORKED!
                                * Requested for replacement
                                * Thousands for phone calls to number of staff within LG India
                                * No Action taken so far
                                * Received a supposedly BRAND NEW Piece on April 25th, 2009.
                                * To my HORROR and DISBELIEF, the REPLACED product was also SEVERELY Damaged.
                                * Still fighting to get the product for which I PAID IN FULL A MONTH BACK
                                * HARASSMENT CONTINUES
                                * On the verge of giving up and taking the matter to the Consumer Court, if not resolved ASAP

                                My questions:

                                * Why do you say Life's Good with LG...when it obviously is NOT!
                                * Who is responsible for LG product Quality...I as a consumer demand my right to speak to the person responsible for quality assurance
                                * I no longer desire any product from LG...will you offer me MY MONEY BACK...

                                Please take some time out to look into these issues...I know you might be getting lot of such complaints owing to bad quality products that are shipped to the customer, but it probably is high time when we start giving quality and customer service a serious thought.

                                Hope it will be in your powers to answer these questions and resolve my issues.

                                I am extremely unhappy about the situation here and I seek immediate assistance. I purchased a brand new (or it seemed) LG Refrigerator from LG Authorized Dealer Techno Life, Sector 14, Gurgaon on Saturday (04 April 2009) afternoon. However the refrigerator is not working since the installation and it has been sent to LG workshop for repair. My question here is... * How come LG / LG Dealer supplied me with a faulty piece. Is this why LG calls itself 'India's No. 1 Brand'. This is the type of product that it sells in the market? * I did not receive the piece I requested for...I chose a different color and the dealer sent me the refrigerator in a different color. I compromised on that. I found that the refrigerator has got a DENT on it's face. I still did not make a fuss about it. And when I switched it on...IT IS NOT WORKING. * Now the refrigerator has been sent to workshop...why would I accept an appliance which is not working from Day 1. I do not care what the problem is...please. I had paid price for a brand new appliance...and I would like to get one. I would want this email to be escalated to highest levels and I will only be satisfied if I get a brand new WORKING refrigerator. I did not pay the price for a second hand appliance from LG and I am not interested in receiving a repaired piece. I would like to know what my options here are...I only request to have my refrigerator REPLACED and not repaired. I will wait for a response to this email and I will take further actions based on your response. If LG is really interested in providing good customer service, please ensure the appliance is replaced. I am not ready to accept a repaired piece after spending 17000 and with no fault of mine.                                 LG — Poor product and poorer customer service

                                It has been 4 days since we filed the complaint and no body from LG has even bothered to call us. We have already called three times. What kind of service is this? it has been not even a month since we bought our LG Air Conditioner and it has started leaking water. LG's website claim that they will respond within an hour.

                                I would like to escalate this matter to next level. And I 'm not going to buy any LG product in future and I'm never ever going to recommend LG to any of my friends/acquaintances.

                                I hope this matter is taken seriously and handled in a professional manner.

                                I have 3 AC, 2 Fridges, One washing machine, 1 TV, and One Micro Oven .all LG Make. But I am sorry to say your coustomer service people are useless, lazy and irresponsible. Even after 2 months of calling no one has come to attend our 2 ton AC which is not cooling. And now my son has made another mistake by buying a LG split airconditioner, that too about a week back.

                                LG — LG faulty product. No action being taken.

                                It has been over a month since my LG TV stopped working. LG have done nothing at all to help my situation. The only feedback is an email saying " We are sorry to learn about your dissatisfaction.We have forwarded your issue to concerned Branch Service Manager "

                                I have callled the branch manager several times, without ever an answer once! LG have done absolutely nothing to help me. I have made hundreds of calls and sent several emails.

                                ALL I WANT IS EITHER A REPLACEMENT OF MY TV, OR A TV OF EQUAL QUALITY. But they refuse. LG state that my model of TV (32LE550 ) has become obselete. The next closest model to mine is the 32LV3730. But they refuse to bear the expense of less than 5000 rupees. LG REFUSE TO BEAR THE EXPENSE OF LESS THAN 5000 RUPEES to a customer who has a TV under warranty and has been seriously inconvenienced.

                                LG's attitude towards this matter is shameful and disgusting. One month, and my TV still sits here without working. ONE MONTH !

                                  I have got LG Split Air Conditioners installed at my residence:
                                  Apt. 303, Tower 3, The Close North, Nirvana Country, Sector 49-50, Gurgaon (Haryana) 122018 on 20th April 2009. Although the complaint was registered on 19th April, A/C was installed on 20th April and full installation fee of Rs. 1500/- and service tax per unit, total of Rs. 3309/- was made on the same day by the medium of cheque. But there was no cooling and the Engineer promised that gas charging shall be made the day after. Additionally, both the A/C were covered under Annual Maintenance contract with LG.

                                  Till today, numerous complaints have been registered but everytime there is a committment for action on the same day and no action is taken.                                     This is kindly inform you that, we had purchased a new refrigerator of LG (Model No: LG350L REF 365 YMQ G-4) from you on dated 22/11/08, vide Bill No- 408.

                                    Within a short period from purchase, the cooling of the refrigerator went down due to some gas problem. This problem was communicated to LG Service Centre vide Complain No: W9C32404593 and also to you. The authorized service station of LG at Ahmedabad (LG Digital Care) had taken our refrigerator for GAS Problem solution and kept the refrigerator under observation for more than Seven days at their service station. Later on it was returned to us. But to our surprise the cooling became low once again on 24/04/09. This happened within less then one month of the period. Again the LG service station is telling that it is the Gas problem which is affecting to the cooling.

                                    I don’t understand why the problem is arising again and again in totally new refrigerator of LG. The vintage o[censored]sage is not even six months from the date of purchase. This is totally abnormal

                                    I can not understand as to how a Gas problem can arise in just 06 months from the date of purchase. This clearly shows that a defective piece has been sold to me. Looking at the frequent problems in the refrigerator, I am requesting you to replace the Refrigerator within a period of 07 working days from the day of the receipt of my letter either by you or by the company LG Electronics India Pvt. Ltd.’s Customer Service Department.

                                    The frequent problem in the refrigerator has caused tremendous hardship to me and my family since it is purchased. So requesting you to take forward over complain to the company LG Electronics and get replaced the LG refrigerator model (Model No: LG350L REF365 YMQG-4). Considering my hardship this is a request to act on a war foot basis.

                                    Further, I would like to clarify that if an action is not taken and if the replacement is not given within the above referred time frame of seven days, I will be forced to lodge a complaint with the consumer court against the company LG Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. and against you.

                                    Till date your support has been good to us and so am requesting you to kindly do the needful for the replacement.

                                    LG - Refrigerator — Very poor customer care, poor service and products are of 3rd grade quality

                                    I purchased an LG 2-door fridge in the Feb' 2008. In September' 2008 it stopped working, the compressor wont start, it wont cool. On 28th September' 2008 at morning around 10am i called lg customer care and informed then about the problem. They informed me that a service engineer will to come to check my fridge. The very same day i received a call at around 5:30pm from the service engineer that he is coming to visit my house. I informed him, we both husband & wife is at work at there is no one at home. So you please come before 1:30pm. This person said ok, and assured he will call in the morning at try the best to come before 1:30pm. The next day again he called in the evening 5:30pm saying he is standing below your appartment. I reminded him that yesterday I had asked him to come before 1:30pm. So he went back stating that he will come the next day before 1:30pm. Next day my wife was on off so i thought even if he comes late it wont matter. But the next day no one turned up. I waited for another day but even on 2nd Oct' 2008 no one turned up. On 3rd Oct' 2008 i called the contact center again and asked the status of my complaint, they informed that the complaint has been closed because the engineer was not able to reach me. So i asked whats next... the person on the phone said... "sir the complaint is closed, you will have raise a new complaint". I was frustrated but i still raised a new complaint. Within 15 mins one Mr. Devanand Ali called me and informed me that my fridge is fine, its because of ice clogging the internal pipe of the fridge the cooling is not happening. He asked me to remove everything in the fridge, turnoff the power and keep the door open. He also asked me to do this in the night and in the morning the fridge should be fine. I thought Mr. Devanand Ali is saying some sensible solution, so instead of waiting for the night, i immediately vacated my fridge, swtiched it off for the next 5-6 hrs. Post which i closed the door and switched it on. This time checked is there the normal compressor functioning sound coming, but i could hear anything. The fridge was dead there was not activity. so i called the customer care and requested them to asked Mr. Devanand Ali to contact me, which he did. i informed him that he will send someone. But no one turned-up. One 4th morning i again called back and asked for a supervisor. I had to take a lot of efforts to get one Mr. Darshan over the phone. Mr. Darshan informed me that he is floor supervisor. I expalined my agony to him and he promised me that he will take this on top most priority. He will get a call done for me from the service center in 15mins and also he will call me back in 15mins to confirm the call. I said ok, its 15mins i will wait. i waited for an hour, but neither i received a call from the service center nor the great Mr. Darshan.
                                    Frustrated i called back the customer care, apparently this time it was a lady on phone, so i could not even should at her. I requested her very politely to get me over to Mr. Darshan. I know she tried her best but Mr. Darshan never came on the line. Instead he forced the lady to speak another lie that he will call me back in 5 mins as he is not in office. I had to bang the phone on her. In 10mins i receive a call from Mr.Sachin that the engineer will only come tomorrow between 2-3pm.
                                    I am amazed by the commitments and the kind of service LG provides, also I would like the stake holders of LG know the quality of their products. My refrigerator konked out in 6 months of running. In other 6 months the warrenty will get over, then LG will tell me "Sir, you not in warrenty, please pay".

                                    Thankyou LG for its amazing products and service. I will never buy your products in my life and will also let others know about my experience with you

                                      This is further to my LG SERVICE REQUISITION NO. S9C42302013, I like to inform that

                                      1. Although you claim in your website saying service person will turn up within 24 hrs, and will recceive the call from technical department within 2 hrs, there was no call received from them and asusual no body turned up even after 24 hrs.

                                      2. Moreover at 7 10 pm I got a call from your techinical dept, as I was busy another call, within 10 minute I received sms from [protected] saying "Dear customer, hence of no response over phone, we are canceling the complaint, for any further assistance call our helpline ..." Meantime I personally called up 5 times requesting for services.

                                      I feel this kind o[censored]nethical commercial campaign (prompt response after sales service... no waiting" not only marketing gimic but also name abuser. We cant realy expect this kind of services from so called "no1 in India" brand LG.

                                      Ref: TV was only 2 months old and stopped working, secondly while delived the tv remote was not working.

                                      I found really unfortunate to see quality of such product.

                                        I purchased a 3 CD changer in 2006 ( cost was Rs 14000) after 3 years this system has a unique problem, whenvere you put the CD inside the tray, the tray goes inside & within few second it will come back saying that not readable on the display screen.
                                        with this problem i went to service center of LG keeping some hopes about repair of system, service center person received the complaint & told me that he will revert after 3 days about the concern.but it went 2-3 weeks we had not received any call from LG service center, one fine day we went there and asked about the system, then opened the case that means till time they have not take any step to solve the problem.
                                        After my shouting the service Manager told me that these systems are off dated & not repairable,
                                        my concern is that Does LG donot have any bothering about customers money, as i had paid Rs 14000 for the system. the value of that money within 3 years is zero as per LG concept.
                                        can i go to customer forum for justice?

                                        yes i am also facing the same problem with LG mini home theatre system, the service is very poor, i have also buy the system in 14000, but when i put the cd in the rtay it come out and goes in, and it keep on doing this only, i dont know what to do should i take the system and goes to the ehad office, and then in fornt of there office o burn the system, then they will realse that the perosn who ahve spend the amount of money, they have to take care of him
