COMPLAINT NO.W9C31302218. After inspection we were told for lens problem & it was taken to service centre ( Shree electronics Sanpada, navi mumbai- ph.[protected] After repeated follow up they are telling that some card needs to be changed which will cost approx. 10500/-. They refused to give in writing official quotation & gurantee even if we accept this quote. Product is still in service centre for last one month & complaint is pending since 13th March. No Senior person / owner of service centre comes on line to tell actual status.

    Starting 29th April, the refrigerator stopped cooling. I filed a complain and with in 9 days some body attended that call, did some knob turning at back of refrigerator and said it will start working now. He got the form signed he was carrying and went away.

    As usual, with in few hours it was evident that problem is not resolved. So, I called them up but no one picked up the phone. On 14th May I filed another request, to which a technician visited and told me that since he is not having proper tools he will have to come back. No body turned up. I called up customer care just to know that request has been closed. They provided me with few numbers of people from service center.

    I then tried to get the request reopend, but that was not allowed. Hence I filed a new request on 22nd Feb. No response till today. Meanwhile I tried calling different people at service center but everybody's mobile amazingly was either "switched off" or "out of coverage area".

    I tried customer care today again, and now I got to know that technician has fixed an appointment with me and he reached my home, and I was not there to honour the appointment. I was shocked, as I was still trying to recall when did I fix the appointment. Reporting to call center about the same, they provided me with same numbers that I already had, and to add to that, they have opened another request for me.

    Looks like I am going into endless loop w/o any idea of when I will come out of it. These people seem to be champions of dealing with customers.

    Refrigerator Intellocool — No response From Service center

    Dear LG

    1. My LG Refrigerator, purchased in the year 2007, got damaged, and I Logged a complaint with customer Care in Mid Oct 2010 - Complaint No. C10A2316986. Some service Engineer came for the inspection and said that the Freezer needs replacement, along with the Gas Refilling, and the Freezer Door also needs Replacement.

    2. After about one week, one service Engineer came to Change the Freezer and to refill the gas, but said that I will have to Log a fresh complaint for Changing the Freezer Door. I requested him to do the entire job in one go. He left my place never to return again.
    3. I had to register a fresh complaint on 06 Dec 2010, because when I enquired about my complaint from Customer Service, I was told that my previous complaint had been closed due to some software problem. My new Complaint No. is RNA[protected]. Some Service engineer again came to check the Refrigerator, and said the same things as the earlier Engineer had said. No one has visited my place again till date, and the product is not repaired.
    4. On checking with the Customer Care, I was told that they will check and some one will give me a call within 24 Hours. On checking with the local engineer (Mob No. [protected], [protected]) I was told that the part is not available, and also that the parts are mismatch. The local Service Center, Phone No.[protected], the person who attended my phone was apparently not aware of my complaint, and said that she will call me back in 10 minutes. It has been two days now, and no one has called me up.

    5. I am not in a position to use my Refrigerator since last three months, and the Customer Service has not been able to get my complaint executed. The only option left with me is to throw the Refrigerator out of my house, buy a new Refrigerator, and never buy an LG product in future.

        I bought an LG refrigerator in January2009
        It was working fine in the winter months
        Suddenly we found cooling not good in summer
        we lodged a complaint
        service guy comes and tells that a part is missing and something was bypassed and the fridge was programmed to give low cooling so as to not detect the missing part.
        If the company encourages its delaers to sell such equipment, how do u think company should not share the blame.
        I have a complaint of my own. I had purchased LG laptop model S900 on 31.7.2008, It went wrong and was handed over to their service agent on 30.7.2009 who diagonised problems with the HDD.I wanted the defective HDD back for a price as it contained important data. Instead of taking a decision on this point, the HDD was replaced and I was given back the defective HDD and was charged a whopping 4960/- towards cost of new HDD plus service charges. I took up the matter withe company at the CONTACTUS link on two occasions. Surpringly, there is no response from the company, yet. As I came across your site now, I am taking up the matter w

        I have a complaint to lodge and as I came across thuis contact link in the net I am posting it to you for necessary action immediately. I had purchased your Laptop model S9oo from cosmic enterprises on 31.7.2008. As the set developed some problem I took it to your authorised service centre(Venus Computers)in Mangalore on 30.7.2009 who diagnised some problem with the hard disk. As the HDD contained very important data, I wanted the data to be transferred to the new HDD to be supplied under warranty or I wanted the damaged disk back for a nominal price. I do not know whether the service people have contacted your headquarters but my request has been summerily rejected and I have been charged Rs.4960/ towards cost of new HDD and service carges. This is the style of functioning of your company by fleecing unsuspecting consumers in the name of Rules. Yes, for LG lLIFE IS GOOD, at least in INDIA to make fast buck as and when possible.         WITH OUT PREJUDICE

        I placed a complaint for non working of my LG Refrigirator.

        However, the machine started working even before the visit of the service person.

        Hence, I have not used the service of the LG personnel.

        As the shelf tray of that particular model .was very fragile, it developed crack, I enquired about the

        availability ofspare shelf tray.

        After verification, I was told that, it will cost about Rs 1000/ and considering the reputation and

        standing of LG I agreed and next day the same was delivered on payment.

        I noticed on a cursory look of the bill, it was observed that a service charge was levied for delivering

        the item.

        This is highly CUSTOMER UNFRIENDLY and COERCEIVE way to extract UNLAWFUL PAYMENTS

        from customers.

        I appeal to the responsible Persons of LG to frame policies which will discourage your

        franchisees to pursue unethical and unfriendly operations

          The default battery which comes with LG B2050 is only of 780mAh, which will give low backup. Try finding a compatible battery of atleast 1000mAh or more, then backup will be improved considerably.

            I bought a window AC1.5T from SANKLECHA BROTHERS PVT LTD, jalori gate, jodhpur on 26/2/09.As it was winters and i was to shift to jaisalmer i requested dealer to get it installed at a later date which he promptly agreed as i had already purchased two ACs and a cooler from the same dealer .In may 09, inspite of request dealer did not get it installed, i had to do it myself. After a month i started getting messages on my mobile ([protected]) that my AC has been serviced and i was expected to give a feedback .On this i replied that no service has been carried out but, instead of coy directing its rep for serviceing i have been called on atleast 10 times saying that my AC has been serviced and i have wrongly lodged a complaint. In the interim i opened the front grill of my AC to clean the air filter and to my horror i found that the dealer had made fool of me by selling a defective piece wherein it can be seen that the fins on the evaporator(item just behind the air filter) are damaged due to some impact suffered earlier. It is needless to mention here that dealers like sanklecha brothers are robbing customers and driving customers away from LG products. I will like to inform that i have been using atleast 4 LG products from last several years without any problems. Now i expect the coy to take some step in getting the piece replaced and deprive the dealer of his dealership for robbing customer of their hard earned money.

                hi,
                i'm the regular user of LG products & it was working fine.But for the first time some months ago i, had purchased an LG front Loading Washing Machine Model no -WD -80485NP and Machine Serial no - WD6-710PNHN009249, Since from 4-5 months i'm facing the problem that not getting a quality wash. it will be just like soaking the cloths in detergent water after taken back from machine,
                with containing the same stains, marks & dirt as placed earlier. regarding the issue i had registered complaints at service center many a time, but ended in vain with results of null. i hope the engineers at LG service division are not well up to mark to solve the consumer problems, coz nearly some 10-15 of them have visited our's but every one will suggest a new washing method like (Using Same type of cloths,
                Pre-heating water, Pre-wash), few more suggested of only(Cotton, Hand Wash), again few suggested for (Quick 30), few even suggested to run the machine without cloths for at least 30 mins before every wash.but one gave a good suggestion of cleaning Air filter with that we achieved little but not complete . Instead of this if we register a complaint at service center, they only assure of attending the fault in 24 hrs or a day, but till never kept their words. im fed up of calling ur support team, few of time i felt of begging you fellows for service. at every cal they will give new complaint id and assure the same . hence i have decided to get my rights, instead of begging.By, sue (approaching the consumer court) for justice. hope i'll reach you soon, else better you can

                  I am writing this letter still dont know that i'll be heard or not. My complaint is pending for the past 5 months. I bought my LCD TV Jazz on 26th oct' 08 which i still REGRET, i discover Black pathes on the screen after a month. I talked with Mr Amit, he told me that your request for replacing the tv is regected. I dont understand that am i applying for a LOAN which they have regected, its a manufacturing defect for which company is liable to REPLACE it.                     I purchased LG 3 Star AC from 'Comfort' dealer at Bhopal.After installation it broke down in 15 minutes after the departure of the company's technician (carpenter).Complaint was lodged immediately.It is the third day that no one turned up to attend.It is an insult to the injury.Firstly, product should not fail, secondly, in such case it should be attended promptly as company's goodwill is at stake. In fact, in such cases the defective product should immediately be lifted by the company and replaced with a new one.It is my third experience of bad product of LG.In one case LG TV 25" was showing verticals as curved figures and the company admitted the mistake and refunded the amount.In second case, LG microwave oven failed immediately after installation and the product was taken back and got repaired after 7 days.Will the company act positively.

                    i want to purchase window Ac through instalment. can you give me procedure and detail information about models.

                    LG 3 STAR WINDOW AC — failure to deliver my product on time

                    I have purchased LG window AC on 2nd may 2011. I have paid in cash for that and i was assured that AC will be delivered till 3:00 pm on 3rd may 2011. But no one even bothered to inform about the status of delivery. I called myself at 3:00pm and they told me that i ll receive the AC around 6:00pm, than also no response. I called again at 6 they told me that it will be delivered around 9.but again they failed to deliver. i called again at night they gave me time of around 11:30-12:00am...but when i called again at 12:00am.... The phone was switched off. now on 4th may 2011 i have been calling since 9 am...but no response...they pick my call up and they disconnect it everytime..... now they are saying....that AC wont be deliverd today also... WHAT THE HECK....
                    I am gonna file a case against them in consumer court... and everyone else who is also fed up with reliance digital...PLEASE STAND FOR YOURSELF AND RAISE THE VOICE AGAINST WHAT IS WRONG.

                      It gives me lot of pains in writing to you.My repeated mails & communications with your representatives in Kolkata had yield no results.I have purchased 1 LG GLT242QM Refridgerator on 22-06-05.The Body started to develop rusts onits outer surface from thenon.
                      Your representatives in Kolkata (Ms Swagata Sen) says they will only offer to give me a depreciation of 35% on the old refridgerator.
                      They say they will take my old refridgerator in advance & give me the cheque only after 10 days.How can I rely on them? Their behaviour is most arrogant & ruthless.
                      I have asked them either to give the cheque in one hand & take the refridgerator or they were given the
                      Option of sending me a new refriderator from their warehouse I will make make the payment for the same after deducting the depreciation value, I will also handover the old refriderator to their representatives.
                      But it seems your representatives in Kolkata ( India ) wants me to buy some of your competitor’s product.That’s why they says “ You take the cheque & buy Whatever Brands You want “.
                      This type of behavior is most unexpected from a company of repute like LG Electronics.

                        How do you prove how long you have owned the product without the bill? Do you expect them to just warranty things forever?

                        It is in no way unreasonable for them to want to see proof of purchase.

                        Keep the bill next time and your problem is solved.

                          I have been facing problems with my washing machine since past one month thanks to LG after sales support.
                          One point worth mentioning here is that there is no mechanical failures, only smaller things like pipe, buzzer etc and it is taking LG forever to correct these. I really wonder what would happen if some serious/ important part failed.

                          One piece of advice for people reading this - DON'T BUY LG - Horrible support team, unprofessional people, casual approach. NO FEEDBACK for your complaints. Its just not worth it.

                          2. Buzzer has stopped working
                          3. The rear fiber/plastic panel has broken off

                          I registered complaints regarding the same MORE THEN ONCE, details of which are as follows,

                          A technician from Decent Services visited and after the visual inspection I was told he didn't have all the requested parts and that he would get the same on Monday. He didn't turn up either on Monday or any day after that.

                          This technician re-iterated whatever I was told by the first one. No fruitful outcome

                          The third technician again inspects the machine and I hear the same thing again. No parts.

                          Upon talking to his senior, Mr.Soni, I get a very intelligent piece of advice, "Machine can run without the back cover". I hope LG takes note of this brilliant cost cutting measure and act on Mr. Soni's advice for the benefit of all.

                          I gave Mr.Soni my email address and asked him to mail me the following,

                          1. EXACT date and approx. time by which he'll be able to send over a technician carrying all the needed parts.
                          2. Total Cost, including the part costs and service charges.
                          I was assured by him verbally, that I'll have the information with me positively by evening (14 May 2009).

                          I AM STILL WAITING FOR HIS MAIL.

                          This episode has totally put me off the LG brand. So much for the 2-1-1 policy. I would really appreciate if LG walked the talk.

                          With reference to my earlier communication to you regarding the horrible state of affairs at LG service and support, I am sorry to say but there is no respite for me.

                          The technicians from DECENT SERVICES, Mr. Kanhiya and Mr. Amit attended to my machine, did whatever was required/requested on 18th May 2009. However, during the chemical wash they damaged the net/bag (supposed to hold the dirt, present inside the tub) and the tub could not hold water anymore!! It rained automatically. I was then promised it will be replaced on 19th May 2009. Apart from the bag, I requested them to get me an extra pipe at the MRP.

                          I really am not sure what kind of calender is being followed at LG India, because its already 23rd May 2009 and for them, 19th is still far away. Apart from being totally casual and unprofessional in their attitude, DECENT SERVICES doesn't even care to inform me about the status of my complaint.

                          Not losing hope, I registered my complaint with your helpline once again (the 4th time during this entire episode), and was given the following complaint number,

                          I wonder how many more days will it take for LG to respond and rectify their own mistakes. Like I already mentioned, this has totally put me off LG, it does not matter if you make good products. What matters is how you value your customer, his time and money. From the signs I have been getting, I am NOT going to buy an LG product EVER and also make sure my friends and family members don't end up harassed like this.

                          And just like the previous time, I am expeccting no reply from your side, but I need to do my part.                           Just to clear things up, I want the following done immediately, ( if LG values customer complaints)

                            This is for your kind information that I had bought a L.G Refrigerator from M/s Bedi Electronics World, Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana (Pb) on dated 22/05/2008 vide their Retail
                            Invoice no # SLG -334.

                            I noticed that the refrigerator had manufacturing defect in its door. I brought the matter to the notice of the Dealer and he assured me to replace the door after some time, but it was not replaced. I have approached to the Dealer again and made a written complain on
                            Dated 24.01.2009. My complain number is N9C 12406007.

                            Due to some unavoidable family incidence, I was unable to follow-up the complain for some period. After some time, I approached to the dealer again and he told me that your complain was forwarded to L.G ULIKE SERVICE CENTRE. Then I approached to Mr. Anil Malhotra, Manger of the company and he again assured me to remove the defect at earliest possible, but till date there is no resolution of the problem. It seems that I was kept in Dark by making false assurances.

                            I believed that L.G Electronics India P Ltd is a well-known and branded company which offers Quality products and A Class services to its customers, but my impression seems to be reverse. After so many months had been passed, but till date defect of Door is not removed. I am much harassed by the dealer as well as by the customer care center as even after lodging the complain in writing in Jan 2009 my problem is not resolved till date.
                            Is this kind of the services should customers accepts from your Prestigious and well-known
                            Branded company ???

                            I request you to please looking into the matter at your earliest possible, else I have no option but to adopt the legal course to get relief. I hope that you will not harass me any more

                            Refer to my earlier letter dated 15.05.2009 which was couriered to your office on 15.05.09 vide Blue Dart AWB No # [protected], mentioning the problem being faced, till time there is no resolution given for that problem.

                            In addition to problem mentioned in my earlier letter, Now I have started facing cooling problem. Refrigerator is neither cooling the things nor preparing any ice. One Service Engineer has attended the problem on 20.05.2009 and scrutinizes it as a gas problem and has to refill the same. I am unable to understand that how Cooling gas can be finished within a period of one year from purchase of refrigerator.

                            It is only one years passed, when I bought this refrigerator and facing the major problems.

                            1. There was manufacturing defect in door which I was informed your dealer on January, but complain was still pending to resolve,

                            2. Refrigerator has stopped Cooling.

                            It seems The Quality that LG claims is missing. Moreover the service part is also not good, as Four months has been passed out but no solution given for Door Problem.

                            I have contacted on customer care number to enquire about my complain N9C 2406007, but they don’t have any status of this complain and issue me a new complain number # N9C 51512458 giving me assurance that this problem will be resolved within next 1~2 Days. Now Whenever I contact LG customer care, they are giving me false commitments by saying that problem will be corrected within one or two days, or we are again sending your complain to service center for resolution, but till time did not get any firm reply when this problem will be erected. Whereas In your Ludhiana Branch office, I have tried their Phone number many times, but no one bother to pick the phone.

                            I request you to please take some action on this on urgent basis & replace the same if there is no cure to the present problem.

                            LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd / Refrigerator — Problem with Refrigerator Door

                            I purchased a refrigerator in OCT' 09 but its door has been problematic from the first day.

                            I logged a complaint for my refrigerator door on 9th Jul 2010, complaint nbr - C[protected]. Your service engineer visited my home and ruined the condition of the door with his plier and asvised that other engineers will visit with new door. They visited but with an incorrect door and later advised me that they will come later.

                            It has been more than one month and complaints still pending. Me calling up LG cust. care are regular intervals and every time I receive a recorded message from cust. care executive that they are re-forwarding my complaint to service center.

                            Regarding this, I have also spoken to Ms. Shobha Panday(CCO) on 16th July Friday and she assured me that on monday, service engineer will resolve the problem but that too seems a false assurance.

                            You are requested to look into the matter asap or advise me whether you can help me out in this or not (So, that I can take necessary steps accordingly)

                            Really a poor and worst service.

                              I Rajat Dixit bough rd 6600 one year ago and now fed up with the limited services it has. there is a memory card in it but no USB cable given. also the bluetooth contains only object push service. i cannot transfer mp3 files or pictures from my computer. what is the use of this memory card then?!!!. it also does not support other mp3 files or animated files which are easily accepted by other phones such as nokia.

                              From 6600 to laptop: The files saved in 'my files' can be sent to Laptop with bluetooth connection simply by going to the file, use options and send via bluetooth.

                              From Laptop to 6600: If contacts, then take them to Microsoft outlook contact folder. Mark the contacts and use file -> send to bluetooth device. The contacts are saved as *.vcf files in 'my files'. From each file, you can take the contact details and save it to contacts.
                              If pictures, mp3 files etc: Take out the micro SD memory from 6600 -> put in the USB memory card reader holder -> connect to the PC. Simply copy the files to the external memory.
                              I have 6600 and I didn't find the "Send via bluwtooth option" anywhere for any files. I have captured one impotant video, it is there in myfiles >> video folder but I canot send it anywhere.

                                Visited Alkapuri Baroda LG Service Center-WindsorPlaza for repairing of LG RD-3510 mobile CDMA Reliance Mobile. It has total Charging time 3.5 hrs & talk time 1.5 hrs only. I complained before this to Reliance Customer Care. They gave me new service Request No: 95197504. Mr. Jignesh Maru from that LG service center said that 3.5 hrs. charging time is normal. Once they replaced my charger. but same problem is there. But, then he replied that it is normal 3.5 Hrs. Charging Time. But on mobile box LG writes "Very good Battery Back-up". The details of the service cenre are as follows:

                                  Hello Sir,

                                  I had purchased LG Washing Machine from a local dealer in Nasik around 3 years back. Recently the Washing machine was damaged due to rodent eating the plastic material and now the inside drum is completely damaged. To get it repair we contacted the local dealer for help, and he had asked as to call the toll free customer service number. We did as suggested and logged a service request with them, after a week or so they sent a guy to look at the damages and he examined it carefully and suggested that we have to replace the inside drum to get it fully functional again. He took his service charges (Rs 280 /-) as told and he said that he will order for a new drum and contact us soon. He didn't turn up for couple of weeks, so we called him again, he told us the drum has still not arrived and as soon as it arrives he will contact us immediately. One month went by and no reply from him, so contacted the customer service to make a complaint about the same, They assured us that somebody will visit us within 24 hours and we received a SMS for our complaint but again no body visited us. Again we called the customer service to inquire about the complaint but again they said the same thing and sent a SMS for another complaint. This complaint process happened atleast 5-6 times and now its almost more than 2 months and we haven't heard from anyone so far. I am really frustrated about the kind of service LG is providing us and nobody even bother to take action against it. Now, we had almost stopped calling and just waiting for that miracle day when our drum will get fixed (dont know how and when it will happen though). Everything has crossed our limits and therefore i am here to file a complaint against LG customer service who is responsible to address our issues but not like this.

                                  I would really appreciate if the consumer forum will take necessary steps to ensure that our Washing machine is repaired as soon as possible. Hoping for the best.

                                    In case there is anyone on the other side listening, i would like to share my experience that i have had with LG. I had purchased an LG Split AC 1.5 ton about 2 yrs back. Till the time the System was under warranty, things were going fine. However soon after the warranty expired, i started facing problems. First the AC stopped cooling. After calling LG Engineer, he said that the gas from the AC had finished as the gas was leaking and this is a case of faulty installation. When i told him that the AC was installed by LG Engineers itself he had no answer. Anyhow, a few months after the gas was filled, again the AC stopped cooling and this time again the LG Engineer said that the gas has finished as the person who came the last time did not fill it properly. I was really upset on this as all the time it was LG Engineers who were visiting the site so why is it that the current Engineer will always blame the previous engineer. I don't care who the engineer is, for me its LG who is so careless. Going forward day before yesterday i logged a complaint that there was water coming out of my AC. The LG Engineer came and said that the AC drainage pipe was very dirty and cleaned it. Now for every time that the engineer comes home, he charges 441 standard charges. Please can someone justify why is this fixed rule where as the Engineer did almost nothing and took about 3 Minutes only. When i asked him, he was very rude ( This is the same Engineer Mr Pradeep from LG who has been coming for the above mentioned cases ), and said that he will take Rs 441 every time he comes home. And his statement during all his visits is that you will keep facing these issues and you will have to keep paying till the time you buy AMC from me. What king of statement is this?? How can you force someone to buy AMC and your engineer keeps doing stuff that ensures that i call LG every 2 months and keep paying him Rs 441 till the time i get fed up and buy AMC. I have done my homework to raise this with the Consumer Court and i will ensure that LG answers to all the torture that i have gone through.

                                    LG - 1.5 Split AC — Problem within a month

                                    07th March 2009 - Purchased an LG 1.5 ton AC
                                    10th March 2009 - Installation completed
                                    27th March 2009 - Stopped cooling, so I called the Engineer from the HP service centre who had done my installation. He said he would try to visit me by the evening. At 8.30 p.m. when he did not come, I called up and found out that he could not make and was advised to make a complaint at the call centre. Tried to call LG customer care on[protected] repeatedly but could not get through. Finally called the dealer who informed me that the LG call centre is available between 10 -8 p.m. only (although they advertise a 24 x 7 service via their sms), which means I had lost a day.

                                    28th March 2009 - I logged my call at 9.15 am and told the agent about the urgency, being the summer month and the fact that school exams are beginning. He advised that he would try and send an engineer by 1 or 2 p.m. Got no call from the service centre, and kept following up myself. Finally the engineer reached me at 6 p.m. and to my shock informed me that the compressor was jammed. AFTER JUST TWO WEEKS. To add to my problems he informed me that I requested for a replacement from the company it would take at least 10 days if not more.

                                    THIS IS JUST NOT ACCEPTABLE FROM A REPUTED COMPANY LIKE LG.

                                    My best bet was to call the dealer and inform him of my problem. He very graciously offered to replace the AC for me and get it installed by 30th March.

                                    I am very upset with the fact that this can happen to an LG Product.

                                    L.G — Horrible Service

                                    A complaint regarding my refrigerator not cooling properly was registered at 10.30 am on 16th December, Wednesday 2009 ... calls were made regarding the same at regular intervals from my end ... a call was received from the so called engineer Mr. Sudhir Misra at 8.00 p.m saying that he will be coming on Thursday for some unknown reason ... He also made false allegations saying that a few days earlier we had spoken to him saying that we were getting our fridge repaired elsewhere ... the funny thing is that this was the first time the fridge stopped working!!!

                                    Just to let others know i will be posting this everywhere i can as all the stuff in the fridge has rotted and my family and i have had enough troubles because of L.G.
                                    For me it is different, The service guy came in time but he does nothing. Even during the time of delivery, they got me 10 egg container in which the Refrigirator can fit only 8-egg container in the slot it meant for. We have complained/Requested for the 8-egg container but no response from them but they still claim that their service is 5 Star. The light of the refrigirator will go off suddenly, we complained the boy came in time but does nothing.

                                    LG AIR CONDITIONER SPLIT A.C — NOT COOLING TILL 2 YEARS

                                    I HAVE COMPLAIN AT CUSTOMER CARE FOR 5 TO 6 TIMES AND THE COMPANY HAS GIVEN SERVICE ALSO BUT THE MECANIC THEY COME ARE NOT SO GOOD FOR THE SERVICE BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM FOR ATLAST FROM 2 YEARS FOR THIS I COMPLAIN TO LG TO GIVE A BETER SEVICE FOR THIS

                                    LG — Horrible service

                                    Had given my LG AC for servicing (gas filing). Just got it back and it is in pathetic state. Its smelling and is dirty like hell. Put my hand inside the air vent and my hand turned greasy black. Seems like it has been through oil slick.

                                    And the air it is throwing is smelling of oil.

                                    This is something you should know. The moment you will ask the LG AC service guys to do wet service on your AC they will run away. Last whole year my AC was under AMC and i used to register for service. Service guys would come and i used to tell them to do wet service. And they would say for that they will have to return and never return. Made couple of service requests after that same thing happened.

                                    And the moment the AMC contrac expired i got a call for renewal. VOW.

                                      Dear sir,

                                      I bought a LG semi automatic washing machine model WP 9521 Sl no: 903MGYN029346 ON 9.4.09 from VASANTH @ CO-MYLAPORE vide cash bill no:14571.

                                      On 11.04.09 Mr.Selvakumar came from LG office and did the demo and found noise came from the washing tub shaft and hence he took away the pulsator assembly and took some grease from the bearing and applied it over the shaft and the noise arrested. After that he obtained my signature in a document.

                                      How a washing machine will make noise during the demo itself when machine is dispatched after enough quality control test. Date of MFG :25 Mar 2009.

                                      When I insisted a copy of the document he said customer copy is unavailable and he went away.

                                      On 17.04.09 when the same noise started coming I made a service request again and same Mr.Selvakumar came and asked me to give some coconut oil which he poured it into the top of the pulsator assembly. He didn't wrote the service report and went.

                                      On 18.04.09 also the same noise in the machine is came while the wash motor is running. Hence I made service request via[protected].

                                      After some time one Mr.Chandru via phone number:[protected] spoke to me and said he is calling from technical dept. He asked me the nature of the noise coming in the machine and asked me to empty the machine and fill hot water upto 75% of the wash tub and run the machine. When I asked him to give in writing the instructions he said he won't give.

                                      How he can expect a customer to obey the technical dept persons Suggestion orally and when anything happens who will take the responsibility?.

                                      During the conversation Mr.Kumar intervened and introduced himself as Team leader and he promised to send the service people within two hours which never happened.

                                      During the conversation I asked Mr.Kumar the following questions and whatever reply he gave me are given below:-

                                      Q1. During Demo load is not given and the motor was put to run empty. Is it ok?
                                      Ans: yes. No need to put load and show demo.

                                      Q2. Why grease from the bearing is taken and applied in the shaft? Is it ok?
                                      Ans: Yes. It can be done this way.

                                      Q3. Is it advisable to pour coconut oil over the head of the pulsator assembly?.
                                      Ans: Yes. No problem.

                                      Q4. Can a technical man like Mr.Chandru can ask a customer to pour hot water 75% in the wash tub and ask to run the empty machine for 15 minutes not mentioning about the temperature of the hot water? And why he won't send this Suggestion in writing when insisted by the customer?.
                                      Ams: Suggestion is correct. No need to give in writing.

                                      I am totally disappointed with the performance of the machine as well as the technical team. Since the machine is giving trouble from the beginning of the purchase date 9.4.09 they have to arrange to give free replacement machine immediately and take back this machine which came to market without passing quality control test. I have stopped using the machine since grease stain are sticking to cloths while washing.On 7.509 all the cloths were thus spoiled are shown to the serviceman and he accepted the problem. I wrote on the overleaf of the job sheet about the problem and insisted to replace the machine with a new machine immediately.Till today (19.5.09) nothing happened and there is no response from them.

                                        I have had an equally pathetic experience with the servicing of my LG front load machine. I would discourage anybody thinking of buying an LG product from doing so on account of their terrible after-sales service. I have had no such complaints with Samsung, Whirlpool or IFB.

                                        I placed a complaint with the LG call centre in April 09 and only after 3-4 calls to the call centre did a technician get in touch. He arrived to tell me that we needed to replace our PCB -- something that costed us nearly Rs 5000.

                                        Within a month, the machine gives us the same IE error! I placed another call to the call centre (Complaint no -- S9C[protected] and requested that the technician arrive on a Sat, May 16th (3 days later) since I would be out of town. The technician calls me on Friday -- obviously I can not have the machine serviced then. On Sat, when I call the call centre to find out when the technician would arrive, I get to know that my complaint has been closed, so I was given a new complaint no -- S9C51600686!! After umpteen calls to their so-called supervisor, a technician arrived to tell me that another part needs replacement. When I questioned the servicing earlier, I was casually told by the supervisor that a part can give way anytime even half an hour after servicing. I was promised a stand-by machine in case my machine could not be repaired immediately. To add to it, the supervisor tried to sell me an AMC in the midst of all of this. I was promised that the technician would arrive with the part today, but I'm still waiting with a pile of clothes for washing.

                                        LG — Pathetic experience

                                        I purchased LG refrigerator on 30 April. It was 72,0000Rs worth fridge. Firstly, the "EZone" store from where we purchased the fridge didnt inform us that a 6,000 Rs motor would have to be installed along with the fridge. They just told us that a 2000 Rs motor needs to be installed. That was non revealing of complete information . to the costumer.
                                        Secondly, after the fridge has been installed ,it gave dirty water from dispensor.Now the LG dealor who installed the motor says that the controller of the motor has got rust.Now can any product just in mere 10 days of working catch rust. Either we have been supplied with duplicate or second hand part. But whatever, it has been a pathetic experience with LG
