    LG — Mobile theft

    Sir,

    My sister was travelling from tambaram to Mylapore in 21G bus.. She heard songs while travel and when the destination is nearing she placed her mobile phone in her hand bag. The bus was crowded. From mylapore she boarded another bus ( 29 C )to Vannanthurai ( Near Besant nagar ) , On reaching the hostel it is shocking to her from her that the mobile was missing... I have blocked the Outgoing calls from that NO and giving the details of the handset. If you can help in means it can be of great favor. Have tried to register a complaint with the tambaram police station. They asked me to register the complaint in the mylapore police station. I cant accept his theory as we are in the 20th century.

      Hi All,

      I have purchased a new LG split AC on 5th Aug 2012 from a LG exclusive showroom “RAZZLE DAZZLE INDIA” New Delhi. It model is “LG LSA 5MR3”.

      It had installed on the same day. But since installation it is not working perfectly. I am facing the following 3 issues in it -

      1. I am not getting the proper cooling from unit.
      2. Always there is a water leakage from the Indoor Unit (Problem in drain pipe slope or Indoor unit slope).
      3. The electric MCV goes down frequently during AC running.

      I complaint two times in LG customer care. The LG engineers visit both times but did not solve the problem and there answer was as follows on the above issues–

      1. First Visit - The gas level is low that’s why cooling is less. As your installation is not done by LG engineer so we are not responsible for that.
      Second Visit – Gas level is correct and Cooling is perfect. (I has another LG split AC and there is a huge difference in cooling. I purchased the LG AC only as I was satisfied with my first LG AC). I told him to compare the coldness of two ACs through meter but they had not any meter at that time.
      2. First Visit – The installation is not perfect. As your installation is not done by LG engineer so we are not responsible for that.
      Second Visit – The installation is not perfect. As your installation is not done by LG engineer so we are not responsible for that.
      3. First Visit – Due to gas level problem the MCV is going down again and again.
      Second Visit – Everything is perfect. MCV should not goes down.

      I have pay the full installation amount of Rs 1500/-. As I purchased the AC form the LG exclusive showroom, How can I know who done the installation. During purchase dealer told me that installation will be done by LG engineer.

      In any case, as a customer, it is not my fault. It is either dealer fault or LG fault.

      I spent a huge amount and result is that - I can’t use my new AC from day 1.

      It is my humble request, please take the necessary action to rectify my AC problems as soon as possible.

      LG One tonne Split AC — Non functioning of AC(cooling not working properly)

      This has reference to my earlier complaint regarding non functioning of LG One Tonne Split AC.

      Even after a number of complaints and visits of the mechanics, the problem still persists. It appears that either the mechanics are not able to solve the exact cause or the piece which I bought is defective.

      LG — NON FUNCTIONING OF SPLIT AC

      I, Suresh Pai one of your valued customer first bought LG TV in 2003 I was very happy by your service and also by your product I also insisted my friends to buy LG TV. Then I bought another LG product Automatic Washing Machine in 2005 which has also given me good result, so I felt in love with LG products and there after I always tell my friends & relatives to buy LG products due to Good result of products and also very good service whenever they take my opinon. Then in 2009 I went for your another product without thinking of any other company. I bought two LG split A/C , one of 0.75 tons and other for 2 tons for my Res. But sorry to say that your 0.75 tons A/C in last 400 Days I have not used even 40 Days and the service provided by you is very very poor. The A/C was mostly lying in your workshop most of the time especially in April & May 2010 when it has a maxmium utilisation. Being an electronic product I do agree that even the new piece can be defective so I even told your Service Centre to replace the piece but they went on repairing sometime Gas leak or some other time some other fault they even replaced the compresser but of no use. Last month they again took full set of A/C and brought it after almost 20 days without pluge and now condition of these A/C is that it looks very old (some 3 to 4 years old A/C) as everywhere they have used taps and they told that they had forgetten to bring the pluge and they will be coming tomorrow but Sir 6 days have passed nobody is bother to give service.
      So I am asking you as a customer,Is this the way to treat your customers?????????????????????????
      The problems which I have faced during this-
      1) Mental depression during my children’s exams
      2)Loss of money (phone charges & petrol of my car
      3) Wastage of time during exams
      4) Violation of consumer right (right to be informed)
      Etc etc etc.....
      On the above facts I can & I want to file a case against LG and the dealer for depression.
      Actions I want from company's side-
      1) Replace my ac immediately (.75 ton 5star BAA ratings)
      2) Take strict actions against Mr. Manish and Mr. Amit.
      So, I request you to look into the matter personally.

      LG — AC Drain leakage

      Sir,
      I have bought a property from Unitech Harmony -Sector -50,Which comes with interiors.One of it is LG 1.5 ton air conditioner.There is some problem with the drain pipe.The LG service engineer is denied to open the A/c citing lack of space above the A/c set and we have to remove our false ceiling in order to open the unit and check the drain leakage.
      Please assist me how to handle this.The service engineer was very rude to us and forcing us to remove the ceiling now.

        My Name Sunny Kumar, i have lodge my complaint on 9/7/2012 Complaint No. RNA[protected] that the product is not working properly.
        My complaint is not attended by any person till today. I have called at Service Centre owner Mr. Ramesh Yadav cell no. [protected] but he asked me to fire this Home Theatre Of LG. I Visit at service centre 7 times again and again but he asked me again to fire this product. I get no of LG service incharge Mr. Naresh at Karnal Branch and called him then after some time i got call from Mr. Lalit Malik Karnal Branch. He said to me that the Home Theatre will be ok within 3 days. But there is 38 daye to go but there is no solution of my complaint. I apologise to every person not to buy LG product never in future.           Thinking of purchasing a product of LG, because of the product durability and good service. But from the last servicing of my split Air Conditioning machine on 28.02.12 I am facing lot of trouble with my AC. It is not working from 14.08.12. I am surprised about your service and to increase bitterness I found your customer executives are to busy for 15-30 minutes before attending one call. Kindly attend my problem AS MY COMPLAIN NO.             On Saturday, August 4, the owners of R.P. Electronics, Sriniketan Road, Bolpur, PAN No. ADCPBO864C, mobile no. [protected], threatened, assaulted and prevented me from leaving my residence at the above address.

            At 11 a.m. approximately, one of three brothers with a mechanic staff member followed me on his motor-bike all the way to the Park Guest House from my residence. I was on foot and on my way to having lunch at the guest house. I managed to get a rickshaw after sometime. The harassment in ugly language continued even when I was in the rickshaw. At the guest house, they made their way in and continued the shouting and harassment in front of the guests having their lunch there. The harassment became so acute that one of the waiters helped me into an upstairs toilet to hide.

            At 12 noon, I took the Park Guest House car back to my house to pick up my suitcase and go to the Bolpur station to board the Santiniketan Express to Calcutta. As the car stopped in front of my gate, approximately 10 to 12 motor-bikes were placed in front of the car by the three brothers of R.P. Electronics and their friends and employees. I collected my suitcase and locked my house and gate in spite of this intense activity to instill fear into me. My neighbours, Mr and Mrs Pranab Mukherjee watched the proceedings but refused to help me or to call the police. As it was nearing the time for my train to leave I decided to walk to the station. As I crossed the motor-cycle cordon on foot, the eldest brother of R.P.Electronics snatched my suitcase from my hand and pulled at my shirt and attempted to assault me. I resisted and there was a scuffle. I managed to continue walking but could not retrieve my suitcase.

            My caretaker, in the meantime was assaulted. The key to his bike was taken away. He was held captive and was not allowed to help me.

            As I walked to Bolpur, one of the staff of R.P. Electronics moved just ahead of me on his bike telling all rickshaw pullers in the stands and on the road not to take me as passenger. I continued walking to the station in the blaze of the sun without even an umbrella for protection. I boarded the Santiniketan Express. The R.P.Electronic brothers and their gang found where I was seated on the train and continued haressing me till the train started leaving the station. Their language was ugly and uncouth and the volume of their voices was very high. All passengers in the compartment, including a foreign ‘white’ lady were witness to this extraordinary behaviour.

            In July 2011, R.P. Electronics knowingly sold me a defective air conditioner which did not work from the very first minute that it was installed. The machine was totally wet as was the remote and the carton in which it was packed. I had repeatedly asked them not to install this wet machine. (LG Complaint No. RNA[protected] dated 3.8.11, 2:11 p.m.) Since then I have informed them many times to remove the said machine but to no avail. They are insisting that I have to accept their defective machine. I had paid fully for the machine when I purchased it. However, on discovering that it was defective I stopped the payment of the cheque.

            If this sort of coercive behaviour towards law-abiding citizens of the country goes unpunished it will be impossible for well-educated people like us to maintain properties in towns like Santiniketan. I would be grateful if you would look into this matter so that I can return and live safely in Santiniketan. At the moment I fear for my life on return.

            LG Airconditioner (1 ton) — Replacement of Airconditioner

            AC was purchased on 18th August 2008 from M/s Modern Electronics, Sector 22, Chandigarh. Noice in compressor is coming from the very first day. Complaint has been registered on 22.08.08, 24.08.08 with the dealer. Same complaint was lodged at customer care nos. several times. Company Engineer visited on 26.08.08 and told us that there is fault in compressor so we are again requesting you to kindly replace the A.C. with new one immediately. Early response in this regard will be highly appreciated.

            lg 1 ton split ac — defective machine for replacement

            I have purchase a LG 1 ton split ac on 08-sept-2010 from koshla electronics.
            on 10-sept-2010 ac was delivery on my address and the same day ac was installed .At that time the ac was working properly.after two days that is 12-sept-2010 when i put on the switch ac was not working at that night i have booked a complaint on lg toll free nomber but till now the problem is not solved.please suggest me what to do.

              Replacement of broken door handle

              I bought a LCD 42 LK 430 from R.S.ELECTRONICS,KHANNA.BUT THE LCD WAS supplied without Manual.This was pointed out to them & LG .Later ,R.S gave a photo copy of 12 pages which was useless. This was told to LG when they wanted feedback.Recently also,they asked for feedback.I told them,LCD is OK but i can't give any rating to LG since They did nothing to supply me the Manual.Also,it is not clear how LCD can be supplied without a manual.Then,I searched for their emailid.It is not available anywhere including their website.Surprising.Even they donot disclose their emailid.

                Our so called high-end LG refrigerator, purchased on 27.10.10 remains unattended by LG Service Center despite our several complains and chasing. Very surprisingly, sometimes towards the end of April, 2012, one fine morning , the Handle of the Main Compartment come out of the mountings. We were quite surprised to note that it was entirely made of Plastic, which cracked very easily ????

                The Service Engineer, who paid a visit on lot of chasing, very strongly advised us against using the " HANDLE " for opening / closing the Door ?????. , as it is just a show-piece. They advise us to open it by holding the side of the door and not by handle.When we asked the Service Center, whether the problem has duly been reprted to the Company, we were informed that such things are not reported to Company as it gives them opportunity of " EARNING ".

                However, after a lapse of 4-5 months, we are at loss that how to get our problem sorted out and from where ???. LG TEAM has conveniently camouflaged behind Retailer/Delear/Service Center haze.

                I shall be highly grateful for helpful advice.

                  I was having LG Refridgerator which was not cooling and things got spoiled. Complaint was made with LG but no proper response. To beat the heat I got forced to buy one. From the day one the new refrdigerator is also not cooling properly. Service Engineer visited and observed that there is a problem in refridgeration system. Now I need a replacement which I have been asking for. But so far there is no proper response. Please help me.

                  I am a regular customer of LG products .I used to believe with LG that …life is good till such I faced this problem with my refrigerator. I bought this in Aug 2009 (model number GL 338VA4/2009).For last one month or so I was facing a problem of low cooling .I submitted a complaint RNA[protected] jul 11). Attended by your service engr. inspected and diagonised that compressor wants a replacement. Will be replaced on receiving the product from company .while attending the complaint he made the refrigerator fully non functional. As a result from low cooling (and surviving any how) we came to no cooling (refrigerator completely stopped functioning). On 06 Jul 11 the compressor was replaced. He charged us Rs1487/-and didn’t give any receipt despite asked repeatedly by me saying he is not carrying one at present. Heights. We thought life is still good till such time we noticed the compressor is continuously on till getting hot then automatically switches off for hours till everything inside melts and comes to room temperature. I complained again (RNA[protected] & RNA[protected] BUT TILL DATE NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN. So where is the Life Good? I am slowly loosing faith in the company and its product line .I have known LG for its product quality & responsive service support, here both are missing…I want product quality & service worth my money (Rs 19000/- cost and Rs1487/-paid for no service).Leave apart the agony and inconvenience suffered for last half a month in Deserts of Rajasthan. You got to suffer this agony yourself to understand the real problem. For the agony least you can do is restore my faith in your company and products by taking concrete actions visible on ground so that I take services from the product for money I have paid. Waiting for positive results and your reply so that Life again becomes Good. will it be????

                  As per my latest complaint i.e. N8CA0404669, the chassis of my monitor has been changed, the monitor was @ your gurgaon center but I am really sorry to write you that I am having a bit doubt that the screen that is in my monitor is the same one that was before its service. As there was the scratch on the top of the screen & that was due to the first service against my complaint N8C80401120. Now yesterday i.e. on 15th of November 2008 I got my monitor repaired by your Gurgaon service center, now what I noticed that the scratch that was before its deliver is not over there & now there are some new scratches @ the midlle of the screen & a black spot also. I am sorry to say that its highly irresponsible behaviour from LG India, as my monitor goes totally useless infact its really difficult to work on it.

                  Kindly look into the matter.
                  Hope an early action in this regard else I would have to move to some senior officials reagarding the same.

                    I had purchased LG washing machine about 2 years back. My problem is that the washing cycle does not get completed. I had raised a complaint with LG about 25 days back vide complaint no. RNA[protected]. They had sent some technician who did not do anything except tightening of a pipe & said that the problem is solved. He also said that if the promise is not resolved, then it would be attended promptly & no extra service charges would be charged until next 3 months. We paid the service charges to him.

                    However, next day we observed that the problem did not get resolved. Ever since, I have been repeatedly calling on their call center & am been giving false promises over phone. The new complaint no. is RNA[protected]. No one has actually turned up in response to this complaint.
                    Also, I asked them the escalation procedure for this over phone, but they are not ready to disclose either the number or the procedure for escalation.

                    This is absolutely disgusting & some strict action must be taken against LG customer service.

                    Washing Machine (Automatic) — Cycle does not start

                    We have purchased a Samsung Washing Machine on 8 March, 2008, from Next Taware Electronics, 47/13 C, Ramchandra Apts, Aranyeshwar, Pune 411009, Inv. No. 1249, dt. 8.3.2008, Phone[protected]. Still machine is under warranty.
                    We have already launched complaint in last week, but no body has attended. Our weekly schedule is completely spoliled. You are requested to send your service engineer on priority.

                    Washing Machine (Automatic) — non-supply of water hose and other peripherals

                    you did not supply water hose and other peripherals with the machine supplied on 30.3.2011 as a result the demonstrator on 31.3.2011 could not demonstrate the machine.We are unnecessarily harassed and the machine is kept unworkable. it is completely an instance of insincere service and deliberate ignorance.
                    you are therefore required to supply the water hose and other peripherals to the machine by 1.4.2011 in default appropriate lawsuit will follow for damage and compensation.

                      I buyed a LG C660 on 26th of july this year its not even been 20 days i hav buyed this new peti-pack mobile and m really really suffering bad problems wid it , dis is d 2nd tym 4m now hav given my cell to the service centre , i hope dis is not LG the brand means for it use 2 say "Life's Good " but dis is really pathetically disgusting a new handset giving me so many problems i want a replacement through pls or a cashbak as i cant bear dis anymore this service and product is really vry vry low and i assure nor me nor d ppl i knw will buy any LG products in future and wil surely pass this 2 as much as people i knw through social networking sites if i dnt get a proper service or a proper reply.

                        I had purchased my Phone Lg P970 on 6th Oct 2011 , since the past 6 months i have been facing problems in charging the phone as well as no sound in the ear piece while in call.
                        For this i had my phone (in warranty)checked at your LG Service Centre in Allahabad, after which the problem was solved. but the same problems came up a couple of months back for which the Allahabad LG centre person told me that a part has to be changed which is not available with them and after promising that the part will be available in the next few days kept me hanging for at least 10 days.
                        Today I came to delhi and visited your LG Service centre in Nehru Place to get my phone repaired(which is still under warranty) and I was told that the earlier technician had made some fault in my phone and now it will take me Rs. 10,00 to get it repaired(I got the phone only 10 months back for around 18,000!!). Since my phone is still under warranty and the fault if any has been done either by the LG service centre in Allahabad or Delhi I refused to pay the amount and was told to talk to Mr. Vishal ([protected]) who is the branch manager for Delhi(I got the same response on talking to your ever helpful customer helpline ).
                        I have been trying to contact Mr. Vishal for the past 5 hrs during which he has not picked up and has actively disconnected many of my calls and not even responded to an SMS in this regard.
                        My phone is still at the Service Centre and I refuse to pay up Rs.10,000 for a phone still in warranty which I bought for 18000 for whatever LG has done to it .

                        I have been a avid promoter of LG products but this level of pathetic service experience has left me frustrated and angry.

                          During the visit at your store , your salesperson told us that they provide best services but till today no one has even contacted us for installation
                          and demo.What type of services are you giving .we are feeling too much cheated ,we wait every day that some call might be coming regarding installation as said at your croma store . It is very depressing .we tried to call croma store but they are not even picking up phone .They are only

                              I purchased LG ref. 195SADG5,P.RED UNDER DIWALI OFFER ON 16.10.09 VIDE PARADISE ELECTRONICS,KORBA INVOICE NO. 2664. MY FREEZE HAD LEAKAGE PROBLEM FROM THE UPPER/OUTER SIDE OF THE BODY. ACCORDINGLY CONSIDERING THE FACTS, THE ABOVE FRIDGE WAS[u1] REPLACED WITH MODEL NO. GL-195SADG5/2010 BY THE LG SERVICE CENTRE KORBA. AFTER ABOUT ONE YEAR, THE PROBLEM IS NOW EXISTING. I HAVE LODGED A COMPLIANT TO CUSTOMER CARE MANY TIMES SUCH AS COMPLAINT NO. RNA[protected] ETC. BUT SERVICE MAN COME TO MY HOUSE AND TOLD ME THAT THE PROBLEM WILL BE THERE BECAUSE IN LG FRIDGE LEAKAGE PROBLEM IS COMMON IN LG REFRIGRATOR.

                              I HAVE REALLY SHOCKED TO HEAR SUCH TYPE OF IRRESPONSIBLE COMMENTS OF YOUR LG ENGINEERS .AS DURING PURCHASE NOBODY TOLD ME ABOUT THIS PROBLEM AND NEITHER IT HAS BEEN WRITTEN ON THE PROSPECTUS. NEITHER THEY PROPERLY RESPONSED NOR HE REPAIRED THE FRIDGE. I ALSO FELT THAT MY COMPLAINTS HAVE ALSO BEEN CLOSED BY THE LG SERVICE CENTRE, BHILAI (CHHATISGARH) WITHOUT ATTENDING THE COMPLAINT ALSO. THIS IS MAJOR PART OF CORRUPTION IN LG. KINDLY REQUEST TO DEPUTE A EXPERIENCED ENGINEER OF LG SO THAT PROBLEM COULD BE FIND OUT AND BE SOLVED AS I AM A PERMANENT AND VALUED CUSTOMER OF LG. KINDLY CO-OPERATE ME IN THIS REGARD. I AM HAVING 10 YEARS WARRANTY AND ALSO 02 YEARS EXTENDED WARRATY HAPPY LIVING PLAN. PLEASE SOLVE MY PROBLEM OF LEAKAGE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OTHERWISE I WILL COMPELL TO GO WITH CONSUMER COURT IMMEDIATELY FOR NECESSARY COMPESATION HARASSMENT TO ME ALONGWITH ALL THE RECORDS.
                              AS I FELT CHEATED FROM THE LG COY. IF THIS TYPE OF MODEL IS NOW HAVING PROBLEM AND NOT SUCCESS, THE FRIDGE MAY BE REPLACED WITH ANOTHER ONE MODEL OR MY BILLED AMOUNT MAY BE GIVEN TO ME FOR PURCHASE THE REFRIDGERATOR FROM ANOTHER COY.

                                sir i have a gd910 watch phone i bought it 1.5 year back but since that time i changed its charger two times but still it has problem. now i need a new one but mysore service center just playing with me (this is 3 month) and costumer care also keep giving mr.prasana's number but he answer my call only one time last month after that he never answer my phone at all. know what should i do about this matter you think better i go for another phone and forgetting the lg.please help me

                                  engineer came in and gone through over the fridge and came to conclusion that the base of the fridge is boken and said tht the fridge will be replaced as the fridge is in warranty period. sooner we got a call that the fridge could not be replaced as the model you are using is not available. later they called n said they will be refunding the money.

                                    I had purchased a LG 1.5 Tons Split Air Conditioner model NO:LSA5AR3T through your authorized dealer, i.e,LG Showroom J-678 sector-18 Noida Uttar Pradesh(UP) phone no:[protected], mo:[protected] with Invoice No.NORI00811 on 27.05.2012.

                                    In These 2 months I have faced the following issues with the AC.

                                    1. Water leakage inside the room

                                    2. Sound problem both indoor and outdoor

                                    3. Air swing problem

                                    4. Cooling is also not at desired level

                                    I called in customer care to report the same multiple times after which Junior and senior Engineers visited my place. But the problem still remains.

                                    Since the AC is in warranty period, I have requested for the replacement of the same but there has been no response even from the senior management.

                                    Therefore, after having gone through a lot of mental stress and financial loss, I have decided to raise it as a concern with your reputed office. Kindly register this as my compliant against LG Electronics Pvt. Ltd.
