Hi,
I bought a 1.5 Ton Window AC on 29th April 2008. It worked just fine for 4 yrs. Got it serviced every year to keep it in a good condition. This year in June 2012, we had called LG Care to get it serviced again as it was not cooling properly. (Job No. RNA[protected]
Our AC was sent to Prime Services (Main Pankha Road), authorized service center of LG. They gave us back the AC on 26th June 2012 (Rs 5360 bill).
Since that day we are having a nightmare dealing with Prime services. The AC cooling issue was fixed. BUT now the AC is making a huge vibrating noise. The walls of the entire house are vibrating. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND HAZARDOUS. The AC is fitted on the first floor AND the vibration can be HEARD and FELT in the ground floor and on the 2nd floor. The AC has been sent to service center for this same issue 3 times, BUT the problem is still there. We are very tired now and feel like registering a case against prime service as they have been unable to fix the problem since 1 month.
We have spoken to Rajesh (Supervisor), Shekhar, Shailender, Vinod etc from Prime Services BUT still no help.
They have fitted paper between the frames in the window. They have inserted rubber plugs saying that the compressor is loose. RECENTLY, they have replaced the entire compressor. THE PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS. NONE OF THE TECHNICIANS SEEM TO FIND A SOLUTION FOR THE PROBLEM.
We have used this AC for 4 yrs without any issue. This time when we had sent the AC for servicing, it was not cooling, that's all. It never made such vibration.
I can very convincingly say that the vibration is there due to the technicians fault or improper knowledge. WHY SHOULD A CONSUMER SUFFER FOR THE FAULT OF SOME IRRESPONSIBLE TECHNICIAN?
I am looking forward some sort of solution for my problem.

Today (31st Aug 2010), I received a message saying that the "Your Service request C[protected] is Closed" and the reason was "Customer will call again" (My concern is why should I call again when I have already raised the issue once). When I called customer care regarding the same I got the information that it is closed because I have not submitted the bill(But I have submitted the required documents when the person from LG came for inspection).
When I called the person who visited for inspection (Number [protected]), he spoke to me very rudely and told me that the issue is still in PENDING , and also he told me that "THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO TALK", but according to my knowledge customer care should be 24/7. and that is not the way to talk to customer.
Because of all this above experience I just want to get rid of all my LG products (TV, Washing Machine , and Refrigerator etc) and go for some othere brand which provides the proper customer care and service .
