I am facing cooling problem in my LG refrigerator since Jan '12. It has been diagnosed 10 times till now. 4 parts have been replaced as yet and 2 times gas has been refilled, but I am still facing the same problem. Seems like the technical team of LGE is full of amatures.

They gave me Customer Relationship officer's & Area Service Manager's contact number to escalate the issue, but both the numbers are always busy. So never got a chance to speak to them.

Everytime they send some new engineer but no one has been able to understand the problem in 6 months. This has become a real pain now:(

LG/Double door refrigerator — Cooling fault

I purchased one double door fridge LE make from New Berco Sector 10 Dwarka on 18th May 2008.
The fridge developed cooling fault last week and I lodged a complaint on 39010909 last week for which
I recd the C. No N9C13107242 from the customer support engineer and recd confirmation on my mobile
[protected] on 31st Jan 09 10:40 pm.

There has been no follow up even though I had told the matter repeatedly to Customer Care as well as to New Berco Electronics yesterday.

This is really very poor response when LG claims 2.1.0 service in Delhi NCR and Gurgaon.

      My name is Binoy. My contact number is +91-[protected] and my email address is [protected]@gmail.com . In the month of September 2011 I bought an LG washing Machine (7039NP). By February 2012 the washing machine gone bad. While spinning the tub bang heavily the side of the machine and stop automatically. I raised a complaint with the LG customer care (RNA[protected]. The technician came to my home and he told me it was because of the ground level, he adjusted the ground level and cleaned the water-inlet portion and left. After few days the same issue came up. I had to go out of station and came back this month. I tried to wash the cloth and had the same issue, I called LG customer care on 17/06/2012(4:34pm) and raised a complaint, I waited for a week. Since there was no reply from anyone I called them once again on 24/06/2012 (4:06pm) and they told me there was no complaint registered. I spoke to the Floor Supervisor (Siddesh) and he promised me that a technician would be visiting my home the next day. On 25/06/2012 a technician came to my home and he inspected the machine and told me it was common for a machine tub to bang on the side of the machine as it is trying to level the cloth. I told him it might be something to do with the bearing of the tub or the spin basket. He won’t agree to me and left. After which I called customer care and they asked to contact the service center and the service center asked me to contact the customer care.
      While spinning if the tub is going to bang heavily the side of the machine (which never happen in any of the washing machine) how long will the machine last. I am sure once the warranty expire, LG is going to charge me a lot to get it repaired.
      Please advise what am I to do. I spent more than 12K to get the machine but still I have to wash my clothes manually, the machine worked only for couple of months and I am being kicked from one place to other (customer care, service center).
      LG is not honoring the warranty which they gave me while purchasing the machine.

        My name is Paul Anthony. I had purchased Refrigerators on 7-June-12 and the problem was cooling problem which raised on 16-June-12.Engineer came told that kits are not available so it will take 3 days and on 25-June-12 and engineer came and repaired it again the same problem raised on 28-June-12. So if this type of standard company start on the problem within a week then how long it will work. So my request is to provide a new one. I talk to LG company also and mail to the LG service then also they are not taking serious for this matter. So this was my last option to mail you. So i hope you understand it and solve the problem as soon as possible. Must be waiting for your positive response.

          I bought a LG Split A/c Model LSA3KR2A on 07.08.2011 from Das Electronics, N.S. Road, Contai, Purba Medinipur, Ph.[protected] through their Bill No. 552 and it was promised to give me 12 months warranty by LG Electronics. The ac was found defective and reported to LG Service Center on 12.02.2012 through complaint No. RNA[protected]. Engineer visit my place and declared to replace Compressor within a short period. But after several reminder and phone contact they practically replace the AC compressor on last week of May 2012 i.e. three months later. After replacement of two days the AC found to have same problem and was reported to LG Service Center through Complaint No. RNA[protected]. Engineer again come and declare to replace the Compressor again. After that I am calling to LG Customer Care and LG Authrised Service Center and Our Sale Dealer to solve my ac problem. Everytime they are just avoiding me showing many excuses falling me a deep mental harrasment. LG Sale Dealer is saying regarding warrantee company will take care. I don''t have any responsibility. LG Service Center is saying we don''t have enough staff to attend you shortly i.e. after 21 days of waiting and commanding me to wait for idefinite time. LG Customer care is saying that our senior will contact you within 24 hours. But noone is contacting me. In this way I am mentally harrassed to seek your help in the matter.

            To my disbelief my LG 32LD650 is not working,it has not even completed 2 yrs from the date of puchase,its display is not working.Just after completing 1 yr of warranty it started showing symtomps of fluctuations,it used to get off&on automatically.1 week back your technician Mr Bapan came & checked it,he told me my LCD's panel has gone bad.To my shock he told me that repairs of it will take around 10,000 rs or so....

            I request you people to get it fixed ASAP without any charges coz i think this is defective piece which i have received from vijay sales which has gone down within 2 yrs.If this is the case with your LCD tv's,then no one will purchase your product.I only purchase LG products at my place due to good experience in the past but this time i have been fooled by this defective product.

            So please do the need ful &get it sorted out quickly or give me exchange of this defective model.Hope you will reply in positive manner,or else last step i need to take is of consumer court.

              I had earlier complained regarding a small visual problem in the display of my TV, for which an engineer has made a visit 6 months ago. The engineer told that its not a problem and the TV is ok. Now that problem has worsend and also a vertical line is appearing since yesterday.
              A complaint has been lodged at customercare but they have informed that the warranty is over by 2 months and now the services would be chargable.
              Its already 15 days and no responsible resolution has ben received yet.

                  myself nitin jadhav & i purchased LCD Monitor( model no w1943c ) of LG Company. this product not working properly. i complained in LG service center About 1 & half month ago & after that they give me repairing of that. Only after 10 days same problems are started to my monitor. Again i was complained about that in LG costumer service, But after that they not giving me service properly. Many times i contacted & complained about that & every time they told me they gives me solution on that early as possible but still i don't get it.
                  this company ignoring the customer's complaints & not giving proper service to me. My LCD is in warranty & after 18 July 2012 warranty will laps.

                  they do not talk properly and when i call them they don't listen to me and put my call on hold.

                  MY LG LCD MONITOR WAS TAKEN BY OUR LOCAL AUTHOISED CENTER IN HALDIA ABOUT A MONTH. BUT THEY ARE NOT SHOWING ANY EFFICIENCY TO REPAIR AND DELIVER IT TO ME. I HAVE COPLAINED TO LG CALL CENTER BUT, THE ASSIGNED AUTHORITY DID NOT SHOW ANY INTEREST.

                    I have bought a Lg refrigerator Model no GL -479GXD4/2012 on the 13th June 2012 and the ice cubes from the ice cubes were not coming out after twisting the tray according to the instructions in the manual we made a complain and after 8 days they replace the tray saying it was faulty but still we have the same problem the ice cubes form well but do not come out of the tray i would like to know if anyone else is having the similar problem or will LG solve this problem ..

                      Dear Sir,

                      I would like to inform you that in last August dated[protected], I have purchased LG Double Door Refrigerator Model no: 278VE-5. After 9 months dated 09 June 2012 , the cooling problem occurred in it. I had contacted to service center and the problem has been resolved. Then again the same problem occurred on 13 June 2012, and once again it has been resolved, but after 10 days means yesterday I found that the cooling is no more in my refrigerator, this is the most difficult problem for me that what is going on?

                      Yesterday night I have complained LG service center and ask them for immediate response. I must say that this is ridiculous for us to handle this situation. Within 20 days the same problem occurred for 3 times. Right now refrigerator is in warranty and after warranty as expire on[protected], How I will go to handle this problem and i have to pay for every visit to your engineer. This complaint is highly untolerable and unbearable. The Compliant Nos are as follows with their specific dates:

                      09 June 2012 : RNA[protected]
                      13 June 2012 : RNA[protected]
                      24 June 2012 : RNA[protected]

                      So, I have asked the LG Service to replace the refrigerator, but they told me that there is no replacement of it and not possible. I want to tell you that once the electronic appliance will be in problem then there is not guarantee for that in long term basis. So I want to change this appliance under warranty. Kindly help me and please solve this matter and if possible please change my refrigerator and instead of double door, kindly exchange this with single door refrigerator, which would be more easy for me and convenient to go ahead with LG company.

                        I am extremely disappointed to state that the service mechanism
                        of LG India is absolutely rubbish. I have a window AC that stopped working and I lodged a complaint 10 days ago on 16th June. Complaint number - rna[protected]. The technician visited and said that service center will come and take the AC, repair it and get it back in 2 days. The service center people took the AC 5 days ago and said that they will get it back the next day by evening. This was the number of the technician - [protected]. I never heard back from the technician or service center. I have given multiple phone calls to your call center number- [protected] but of no use. They said i will get a call in 24 hours but I did not get any call. They said there is nothing we can do except raising a reminder and gave me the number[protected] for service center. I called the service center at least 25 times but nobody picks up the call there. I again called your toll free number and they gave me number of some Pooja Mathur, CCA ([protected]). I called her at least 20 times but she did not answer my call and kept disconnecting. So I called the technician who came to pick up the AC and he said he cannot do anything and gave me number of his supervisor Pawan([protected]). I also called him 20 times and even he did not answer any of my call. I think its LG's protocol not to answer customer's call. Its been 10 days and I have not got my AC working. Forget about working, I even don't know where it is.

                        I THINK BUYING LG(I have 3 LG ACs) HAS BEEN ONE OF THE MOST STUPID DECISION MADE AT MY END as they are just cheating on people with false promises.

                        The LG executive told to me within 24 Hrs a technician will visit for resolution of complaint but still no one come and I have not receive any call from LG. i had lots of time talk with customer care but no resolution. All numbers always going busy.

                              Hi to all Future LG air conditioner Users.

                              June 2012 experience.

                              This experience is being shared for the benefit of future LG air conditioner users and my suffering is as fresh as June2012

                              Subject - Do not get LG air conditioner serviced from Sector 63 , Noida and better do not buy LG AC for their pathetic after sales service.
                              Problems
                              1) you will suffer on account of Poor service
                              2)ill mannered staff
                              3) fake transportation cost slips.
                              4) Unresponsive LG customer care

                              1) you will suffer on account of Poor service

                              I recently suffered at the hand of this service center. My Ac was taken up for repair and not returned for untill a month.
                              My calls were met with rude staff at LG sector 63 noida, who do not respond to status of your AC for weeks.You will almost feel helpless.
                              A job of 3 days was done in 1 month.

                              2)ill mannered staff
                              You will most probably be dealing with rustic illmannered and rude mockery of staff named Pravesh, Pawan or Maninder , Mahinder.
                              If you get them, forget your ac. They work under complete support from Manager named sameer to overlook all complaints and fleece money.
                              No staff can create such a havoc as you will see here untill top management is not involved.
                              Rest assured you will be dealing with staff barely Graduates and Non Delhites who would make sure you pay each time you call up.

                              3) fake transportation cost slips.
                              you will be given fake Pink reciepts showing that you have to pay transportation cost on AC repair.Whether you AC is under AMC or not , you will be charged
                              roughtly 300 rupees as of (2012) to deliever repaired ac to your house.You will asked to make the payment in cash and not by cheque or other means nor in the name of the company (LG)
                              Meaning it will go straight in the hands of corrupt LG staff at sector 63.Be ready to face the music when they come to your home next time.

                              4) Unresponsive LG customer care
                              when facing these problems from the LG customer care sector 63 , and feeling held hostage with your AC being deprived to you , having paid the full money to enjoy a cool air during the hot

                              months , you will eventually turn to LG customer care. Each time you wil be given a complaint number and response would be - "we have forwarded your complaint to the appropriate person".
                              by now you will have realised there is no luck with being a consumer in India and will regret having bought LG.

                              Dont do the mistake , I did.

                                    On 24.5.2012 I have registered a complaint of my split AC at your customer service toll free no My complaint no is RNA[protected] and complaint was as follows:
                                    1. Abnormal noise from indoor unit
                                    2.Cooling not proper(not cooling at all)
                                    Tne technician visited after two daysi.e. on 26.5.12 of complaint he checked and told that motor need to be replaced ,and compressor unit need to check,since then nobody from your end has turned up I am continously contacting your customer service deptt ,everytime they say some technician will visit ,E ven I 'm trying all your service center nos no one is picking phone,I am really surprised that since one month my complaint has not been solvedI

                                    I'm reproducing a copy of the registered letter that I sent 3days ago to LG. If I don't get a positive response, Tiz Hazar Court is very nearby.
                                    And every morning, I'm going to update my Facebook status to :
                                    "Don't buy from LG, Worst Customer Service".
                                    If they're intelligent enough, they might know what Facebook can do.
                                    Guys, don't sit quiet.Teach any company (not only of LG) the lesson if they do not honour their responsibility.

                                    IN RE: RNA[protected]Defective LG E2360V LED Monitor)

                                    Sir,
                                    This is to bring to your kind notice that I had purchased LG E2360V LED Monitor for a consideration of Rs 10,700/- paid in cash vide Invoice No. CCL/11-12/R75 on 7th Apr'11. During last week of July'11, the monitor started developing pink colour bands/strips all over the monitor screen, rendering the monitor unusable.
                                    I have reported the above matter to your After Sales Service (Customer Service Department) several times. That is:
                                    (i) a complaint was registered as RNA[protected] on 1st Aug'11. A technician visited our premises the same day and verified that the monitor is defective. And he fixed an appointment on 10th Aug'11 to replace the defective part. But no one turned up or informed us of any update on the mentioned date while we waited the whole day.
                                    (ii) Thereafter, on 10th Aug'11 evening, this unprofessional behaviour was communicated to your After Sales Service (Customer Service Department). The Representative assured us that we will be updated within 24hours of the progress of the complaint; and that he has forwarded the matter to the "concerned department".
                                    Despite all my pleadings, you have not rectified the defect in the goods which is indeed regrettable and highly unprofessional. Today is the 17th of Aug'11 with no update; and I find it hard to believe that an MNC like LG with a pan-India presence doesn't have spare parts for which it has to take nearly three weeks to replace it. On account of your aforesaid dereliction of duty and failure and neglect to rectify the same, I have been greatly inconvenienced as I work on 3D Animation and Multimedia applications, mostly Maya.
                                    You are hereby finally called upon to
                                    • remove the said defects in the monitor, or
                                    • replace the monitor with new a monitor, or
                                    • return the price paid for the monitor;
                                    within 7 days of the receipt of this notice, as the complaint has already been registered on 1st Aug'11, failing which I shall be constrained to initiate against you for redressal of my aforesaid grievances, both civil and/or criminal as are warranted by law for mental agony and harassment suffered due to your negligence, besides filing a complaint under the statutory provisions of The Consumer Protection Act, 1986 exclusively at your own risk, cost, responsibility and consequences.

                                    I have contacted LG customer support for my TV display issue. The issue is not resolved yet, still chasing them to fix it.

                                    Call Registered on 08/04/2014
                                    Service Engineer Visited on 09/04/2014 and checked the TV.
                                    Service Engineer said that Power Board is failed and the same day the part has been ordered.
                                    Service Engineer visited again on 13/04/2014 and tried to install the received part, but the issue was not resolved.
                                    Again Service Engineer said that the panel board needs to be replaced and he ordered it on same day.
                                    No response from LG after 13/04/2014.
                                    I contacted Customer Support on 19/04/2014 and got another contact Number[protected].
                                    I contacted[protected] and got the information that the part is not available in India and it has not reached Noida yet.
                                    27/4/2014 Sunday I called[protected], no response. And I called LG Customer Service, the gentle man who responded me said that they are facing server down issue and they will be calling me back after two.

                                    No update on my repair request for 14days.

                                    This is really Very Very poor service from LG.

                                      I had purchased a double door refrigerator model no GL335VF on 9-5-2011. ,from BEST PRICE mall It was delivered unchecked or knowingly defective piece to me because since first day it was not making ICE , so i complained to customer care they send technician he coud nor find proper fault.
                                      And cutomer care is also not doing anything, i had made several complained to BEST PRICE and lg customer care does not work.

                                        I had purchased a side by side refrigerator model no B217-BTJV having a serial no 108TRBS2H283 on[protected]. Within 8 months of purchase we are facing a problem with this fridge from last one week that its cooling system has totally failed. I lodged a complaint on[protected] having complaint no RNA[protected]. The next day on the service executive visited our place and checked that there was a gas leakage in the unit. He told us that it will take some days to repair the unit as they have some lack of gas stock and some other issue. So they will not be able to repair it immediately and later too they will have to take the unit to their service centre and again there it will take few days to repair. We asked him that who will take the unit and bear the cost so he said that the customer will do it. I think it was our biggest mistake that we purchased a refrigerator from LG company which has such poor customer service standards. Gas leakage is a manufacturing defect and not customer fault and that too just within 8months from date of purchase.
                                        Post he went from our place nobody contacted us so out of disappointment from the fact that they are not repairing the unit on priority in these hot summers when we actually require it the most I visited the local vendor Videon Electronics from where we purchased it. But the vendor denied for any support so i had to visit LG local office in jaipur. There I met the customer service executive Ms Charu who made me speak to their senior customer care manager Mr R P Sharma who promised me to call back after an hour with a solution. But I dint recieve any call from him for long so I tried calling him but he dint even bother to take my calls. I must have called him more than 50 times in the entire day but he dint take my call.
                                        This is the worst customer care experience I have ever come across. I have also written a mail to their service ID but have recieved no satisfactory response. I would want to take up this issue with their top management and consumer court asking them is this what the call as customer service. They say with LG life is good but they are doing everything to make customer's life a hell.
                                        I hope someone will listen to my complaint and be considerable enough to provide assistance.

                                        REALLY NOW LG SERVICES ARE GOING WORST DAY BY DAY I LOGGED MY WINDOW AC COMPLAINT UNDER AMC STILL ITS NOT TURNED UP ONCE UPON A TIME I GOT A CALL AT THAT TIME WE ALL WERE OUT OF OUR HOUSE HE ASSURE ME HE WILL COME TOMMORROW TO PICK MY AC BUT STILL LG TOMMORROW DIDNT CAME MY COMPLAINT NUMBER IS -RNA[protected] IF POSSIBLE THAN PLEASE DO IT IF NOT ALLAH MALIK LG KA THERE IS TWO REASON EITHER LG IS OVER CONFIDENCE OR ITS BAD TIME HAS STARTED
