LIc housing has cheated me . I had a account with other bank which was shifted to LIC HFL on 8.75% rate April2009 within 3 months the rate was increased on my loan raising my EMI from Rs5702 to Rs 5848 p.m., Surprisingly they are still charging the 8.75% interest on fresh loans . this a cheating by the them, I closed the earlier account by paying premature charges and shifted my account to them which has defeated my purpose of shifiting . Can they do like this . Is not cheating. Please forward my case to concern places to look in to this. my account no is[protected]and application no is 409973 from Jaipur branch.

It is submitted that I have just retired from services of M/S National Fertilizers Ltd., ( NFL) Panipat on 31.01.2010.

However, it is a matter of great concern, that during my service, I was a member of Group Saving Linked Insurance Scheme ( LIC) w.e.f 01.04.1993.After my retirement my Employer M/S NFL lodged my claim with LIC , Karnal ( Haryana) alongwith my other colleagues ( Retired on the same date i.e 31.01.10) for final settlement.

For ready reference, the brief of the claims lodged with LIC, Karnal by M/S NFL are as under :-

From the above, it is amply clear that there was a huge difference in amounts released by LIC, Karnal vide Ch. No.105725 dated 02.03.10 hence, personal visits were carried out by me at LIC , Karnal & then it was clarified that since my record were not available with them from April,93 to March,95 therefore, the claim was settled only from April,96 to 31.01.10.

Here, it may be mentioned that while releasing payments for the lesser period as claimed by the employer, no remarks/intimation was sent to the employer so as to make the non available record to them. However, again the Record for this period (April,93 to March,95) was personally made available to LIC, Karnal & they released another Payment of Rs.3,287.00* for the remaining period against which earlier payment was not made.

Even then ,after releasing total amount of Rs.27, 761.00, it is still found that payment has not been released correctly i.e on lesser side in comparison to my above colleagues. There is vide variation in the amounts released to the above employees which required to be re-checked & the calculation/break up of the respective above employees is required to be made available so that factual position can be ascertained.

Needless to mention that being a Govt. Agency (LIC) , it is always thought that they will release the claims correctly after through check up at their end to avoid any loss to the claimants. But, in the above instance case such imagination proves wrong.

Under the above circumstances, I approach your good office to please take appropriate action in the matter so that I can get my legitimate correct payable claim from LIC, Karnal without any further delay.

I am (Rakesh Kumar Singh), resident of Katras, Dhanbad, I have got a cheque of LIC POLICY NO.[protected] FOR Rs. 15000/- as money back policy.



Vide Cheque no. 020112 dated 26-02-10 for Rs. 15000/- (of Axix Bank Ltd., Dhanbad Branch)



Because I am working at Patna and I have opened my A/c in SBI & ICICI bank though my company as salary cum saving account.



I have deposited this cheque in my SBI A/C NO. [protected] 03-03-10 But they have retuned with reason why they have mentioned father name on cheque leaf. After my request and showing proof of my father name they have received once again.



Now again they have retuned with deduction of Rs.75/- from my A/c mentioned (not drawn on us) payable at Dhanbad, I couldn’t understand, what is this mean, because on cheque leave they have mentioned (payable at par at all branches of Axis Bank in India )



Due to negligence of Axix Bank, I have lost a opportunity to take my child admission in reputed school of Bihar . So I think Axix bank and LIC both are responsible for that.



So, I request your personal intervention in this matter as soon as possible and obliged me.

endowment assurance policy-with profits in BELLAMPALLY BRANCH(68E).policy no:[protected] date 15/03/1996. sum assured 25000. earliar i paid monthly premium as i employee 150per month from SINGARENICo.after retairment rs.885 paid in half yearly mode from 14/11/2007. date of maturity 15/03/2011 .
from september 2008 i had premiam paid recepts also given by branch. but the branch employees saying that is not credited in my account then asked the reason they are saying they have misteken in entry in computer&also tell they correct in head office KARIMNAGAR.till know they not correct the mistak of them.&iam safaring from evry time goes to branch.
IF THEY AS POSIBLE AS NOT CORRECT THEIR MISTAK .I ALSO BACK DOWN MY OTER POLICYS ALSO.

I have written multiple letters to:
'[protected]@lichousing.com' to make payments of my two home loans. The payments for these loans have bounced as I could not fund the ECS account on time.
Called the service numbers:
23440507/08/09 hundreds of times continuously. Either its busy or nobody picks. Its a Monday, and yes its not a public holiday. The support is sick! How am I supposed to make the payments???

Firstly, they do not support ECS from Citibank, which is my salary account. Due to this I have to transfer my money every month to ICICI, and a slight delay causes issues like this.

LIC support is horrible!

A deposit of Rs.6000 was accepted by LIC chembur branch (939)vide BOC No.18480 and the agent code was 01848939 Dev officer code 0005395. There were some problem in acceptance of the policy hence I requested the agent to get my deposit refunded but now he is avoiding me.
I have sent a direct letter to the branch Manager, LIC Chembur enclosing copy of receipt and a email to DO-II but they are also not doing anything. Please look into the matter on urgent basis so that the innocent customer is taken for a ride by these agents.

I have applied for a loan of Rs.5,00,000 with LIC Housing Finance Limited (LICHFL referred thereafter), SCO 2445-46, Sector 22-C, Chandigarh for renovation/improvement of my flat situated at flat No.410,GHS-33,Sector-20, Panchkula-Haryana in September’2009. LICHFL have asked for originals of all the documents which were duly submitted at the time of application.

The loan was sanctioned vide their sanction letter File No.663212 dated 06/10/2009 and all the terms were duly acknowledged to LICHFL.

The upfront fees paid Rs.1103/- at the time of submission of application and Rs.4412/- at the time of acceptance of sanction letter. (Total fees paid Rs.5515/-).

LICHFL limited have asked for stamp papers and all the documents including six cheques, ECS sanction letter from Oriental bank of commerce have submitted to LICHFL. LICHFL have asked me to come to their sector 22 office for disbursement of loan in December’2009.When I visited office I was told that the loan sanctioned can not be distributed as per instructions from legal department but no specific reasons were given. They also asked me to wait for the call from their office.

To my surprise I have received letter (without any Letter no.) dated 31.12.2009 from Area Manager asking me to submit “conveyance deed in my favour” for the flat or else collect all the original document from their office. Shocked by such treatment by your office I visited the sector 22, Chandigarh office and explained them that all the documents available with us are submitted at the time of application and there is no conveyance deed with any society flat holder in Panchkula. This document was never asked earlier and it is impossible for any flat holder in Haryana to submit this letter.

The concerned official Mr. Charanjit Singh have shown their inability of any help and frustrated with their attitude I have no option but to take all my original documents.

I have also asked them for the return o[censored]pfront fees Rs.5515/- since the loan was never disbursed but they till date have not returned my upfront fees.

Its been almost five months that I am being harassed by LICHFL neither they have given me loan nor they returned my upfront fees. I addition to the above the amount spent on cost of stamp papers and amount of time and money spend on communicating with are still to be counted. I have to borrow money from other costly source to get the job of my flat renovation done which still to be counted.

Request you to immediately look into this and issue instruction to the concerned official Mr. Charanjit Singh to refund o[censored]pfront fees.
I also further request your goodself to issue instructions to concerned official to stop this practice to taking the upfront fees and then rejecting the case of customers. You must be aware in a recently decided case in consumer forum (The Tribune details December’17’2010 attached) where forum has said:-
“The forum in its orders stated that whenever an application is moved they proceed to sanction the loan immediately without verifying the eligibility of the applicant or the genuineness of the documents attached therewith. The purpose behind it is to swallow the process fee to which they are otherwise not entitled.
The procedure adopted by the company is, therefore, totally wrong because they are acting in a reverse mode by first sanctioning the loan and thereafter asking for the documents.
There is another defect in this procedure that the companies are trapping the gullible customers who are given to believe under the garb of the sanctioning order that they would get the loan and should not approach any other bank or financial institution for this purpose.”
I am sure their will be huge gap in the loans sanctioned and loans disbursed by LICHFL as most of the loans are not disbursed after the upfront fees are eaten by LICHFL.
In my case also their is clear case when the application was submitted to LICHFL, the LICHFL was aware that the loan is against the society flat in Haryana where the society flat holders are only given share certificate by the management of the society and no individual conveyance deed are done by each society flat holders with HUDA (Haryana urban development Authority). Knowing the facts at the time of application itself that there is no conveyance deed available with me for the flat they have asked and rejected my loan application on legal ground after taking the upfront fees.
This is clear case of Harassment by LICHFL limited and intention is to take the upfront fees and then reject the case.I strongly protest against this treatment.
Request you to please immediately refund my upfront fees of Rs. 5515/-, cost of stamp papers Rs.1500/- and others costs Rs.31700/- (Money spent in last 3-5 months in follow-up and Interest paid for alternative funds arrangements etc.) which could be counted and details could be submitted.

Sub : Wave off of late fee wrongly charged on new Policy no :[protected].

Dear Sir.

I had taken LIC Jeevan Saral Policy no :[protected] in the month of December 2009.

I had submitted the bank verification form duly verified by the bank along with a cheque sleeve bearing the MICR no of the bank. A cheque of first premium amount was also submitted to LIC. The further premiums were suppose to be deducted from my bank a/c thru ECS.

On checking with the bank I came to know that premium is not getting deducted nor LIC has intimated me about the same.

I had submitted all the documents to LIC on time and I also maintain sufficient cash balance with the bank.

On calling my LIC branch 935 , they informed me to pay 3 month premium in cash ( 3062 * 3 ) for the month of Jan’10 , Feb’10 , Mar’10 with a late fee of Rs 61/- .

When I objected to pay late fee, I was informed to contact PCMC LIC branch.

They informed me that PCMC received the invoice only on January 14 & as my premium date is 15th of each month , it was late to inform the bank to deduct the premium. In Feb’10 also the premium was not deducted by LIC.

If PCMC received the invoice late in January ’10, they could have collected the premium on time in the month of February’10. In Feb’10 also the premium was not deducted by LIC.

If there is some lapse on LIC behalf, why should I pay late fee for the same.

Please look into the matter as I have to paid 3 months premium in cash with the late fee , I am requesting you to inform LIC to refund me the late fee Rs 61/- wrongly charged.

Waiting for you prompt action for waving off the late fee of Rs 61/-.
