This is the case of physical, mental and financial harassment due to negligence and deficient services from the LICHFL.

I am Rakesh Singh Negi, and have taken the housing loan from the LICHFL institution.
I am paying Rs.17377 EMI through ECS every 5th of the month, and has completed almost 2 years without any issue.
During April, May & June-11 my ECS was not debited.
Some where in 1st week of June, I received a call from LICHFL- Jeevan Kiran office, "due to insufficient fund my ECS is bounced back" i could not believe because we are always keeping sufficient fund on stipulated dates for the ECS.
In response to this, I called to Area Manager (Mr. Alok Goyal), he gave a number and asked to talk with this lady officer, i called her and she simply replied that because of insufficient fund my ECS bounced and pay the amount by cheque.
In response to this, i have called the LICHFL agent who was involved in my loaning process.
I went to his office and given him two cheques 797891 & 797892 dated 04/06/2011 for April & May EMI amount.
After 10-15 days of handing over these cheques, the money in my bank account was still lying because cheques were not presented (Again I have not been informed anything).
Once again being “poor helpless customer” I called to LICHFL office and personally visited (2nd July) to the office. I was asked to meet a lady officer, in discussion I was told due to insufficient fund my ECS was bounced and now I have to pay the penalty. I have shown them my account statement where the sufficient fund Rs.21000/- was there.
Since my ECS date is 5th of every month so I keep sufficient fund till 10 to 15th of every month.
The lady officer told me that during April month we have shifted the ECS dates from 5th to 21st and given the mobile messaging intimation.
But I did not received any message from LICHFL, I have requested for the acknowledgment of message sent to me, but the reply was very negative, that is not expected from the organization. Would I have been informed through “proper communication” there would not have been any issue of ECS bouncing, which is creating financial mismanagement for both customer & organization?
If we go to the meaning of communication, it means when it is received and perceived by the receiver then it called communication. If organization like LICHFL feels that just by sending a message their duty is over than they are not doing the justice with the customers & with receivable of the organization. And if the organization feels that just sending a message is the communication then It is suggested better to use media for the communication, by which the duty intimation job is completed whether it has reached to the customer or not the organization is not responsible.
Here my point is the, LICHFL being one of leading housing finance organization is dealing with the customers with such a negligence and deficient services. This has resulted an individual’s physical, mental & financial harassment; moreover it is misuse of national economy in terms of resources, time, value etc.
Here my complain is that because of the LICHFL negligence and deficient services why I should suffer, is it not their duty to inform or communicate the customers properly well in advance about any changes with the EMI related issue.
Well, if I am not able to repay the EMI as per the stipulated time period then I am fully responsible and will pay the penalty as per the rules.
Although, LICHFL should pay off the customer towards compelling the physical, mental & financial harassment.

    Still now not known the status or reply from their office. My Pan No. AGNPS1797F.

    SO MANY TIMES CONTACT MADURAI AND THEIR DELHI OFFICES NOT YET RECEIVED THE CARDS.

    PLEASE TAKE UP THE ISSUE N ENABLE TO GET THE LIC CREDIT CARDS.

                  subject: delay in dispersement of loan amount of 15,00,000

                  I have initiated the process of loan sanction via mr. Srinivas rao, area manager, LIC housing finance limited, j p nagar, bangalore. I have received a confirmation of loan sanction from LIC housing finance limited, 19/19, jeevan sudha, 24th main, ground floor, phase-1, j p nagar bangalore - 560078 on 31st may 2011. Mr srinivas has been very helpful in this regard.

                  I, my agent (divya jain) and mr. Bindu have visited several time to j p nagar branch from 1st june to 21st june 2011 to follow up this case. I have to request srinivas, shailja, shalini, sudha, bindu, srinivas and many other office staff many times but I dont see any progress. Apart from the payment of loan application rs 6018 I have made many calls, many visits to the j p nagar branch.

                  Unfortunately to my surprise, I dont see any tangible progress in my loan application dispersement. Ideally it should take only 5 - 7 working days for dispersement of cheque once the loan has been sacntioned. I have only received following excuses from 1st june to 21st june

                  1. Himanshu your file has been misplaced and some documents has been exchanged with some other client.
                  2. Himanshu there has been reduction in the staff
                  3. There has been a new it system for loan dispersement and staff has not been trained on new it system.
                  4. Himanshu we have have lost the report submitted by engineer
                  5. The area branch manager has moved from j p nagar branch to residency road branch.
                  6. Although you have already given ec. You have to produce ec till date.

                  I have faced mental trouble and harresment and unhelpful attitute from LIC housing jp nagar branch. I have pressure from my flat owner to pay him there remaining amount toward registration of flat.

                  LIC Housing staff has no respect for customers. They should learn from other housing loan organisation like ICICI Hom Loan who are same interest rate and no hassle. Sorry to know about the customer pain and suffer.

                    My EMI cheque (Axis Bank) of Rs 21681 for the month of May got bounced due to non-financial reason (mismatch of number & figure of amount).So in the month of June it is expected that EMI should be debited 2 times. But to my surprise it is debited 3 times. Ie on 6th, 7th & 13th. I have reported this matter to your officer Mr Nani at Gajuwaka Branch but in vein. On 21st I tried to talk to your Gajuwaka branch head Vijay Shree madam but she refused to talk to me. Then I tried to talk to Hyderabad office but no body lifted phone. So please investigate the matter and refund one EMI to me.

                      Dear Sir,
                      I am a policy holder of LIC since 2005. And later on I have buy a ULIP plan table No. 188 with policy no.[protected] on[protected] with the ECS monthly mode. Now I have some problem to deposit the premium in ECS mode so I visit the local branch on[protected] to change the mode and approach to Mr. Pawan Pareek, HGA and give him application regarding the necessary changes then he said that go to Mr. S.K. Sharma, AAO he is the person who told you that what to do. I asked him to do so, but he said that If a person opted ECS than he/she will not be able to change the mode till policy end date. I request him that I am not in position to pay the premium through ECS, then he replied that you must close your bank account so It will automatically be closed. I asked him that tell me other option because this is not possible for me to close Bank Account for this problem. Than I request to let me talk with some higher authority who can satisfy me with a proper answer, but he denied and on request he talked to Mr. Ashok Gupta on land line but he is not available on his seat. After requesting again and again he tried to contact him on mobile but after calling on 2-3 times on different mobile numbers Mr. Gupta tell Mr. Sharma that their is no other option, So I request Mr. Sharma to let me talk with Mr. Gupta but Mr. Gupta refused to talk with me.
                      Then I approached to Mr. S S Rastogi, Chief Manager of that branch then he told me to talk to Mr. Sarda who was Adm. Officer over their, When I approached him, he was busy on his mobile, after 15 minutes, he ask me, then I request him to sort out my problem, but he said that you must not deposit requisite amount in your bank account on your ECS date, so ECS will be returned and the payment will automatically be stopped. I told him that their will a penalty of Rs. 150 which LIC charges against returning the ECS and bank also charges a penalty of Rs. 250. This is not enough my track record will also affact. so I will not go for it. Then he again busy on his mobile without giving me proper answer.

                      Mr. Sharma and Mr. Sarda also told me to surrender the policy then it will automatically closed and all charges will be stopped.


                      Now I want to ask you that these responsible persons are suggesting me such irresponsible answers which shows LIC's bad reputation in the market. Now I will also suggest my known, friends and relatives that donot go for LIC's Policies, If then you also go for the same, you are ready to face problems, which will be created by these administrative officers.

                      So, I am asking you that, Had I made a mistake to faith on LIC as It shows me that time when the policy was offered me.

                      Now, I will through the ball in your court to decide that what is good and bad about it and let me know my questions answer that it will be possible or not to change the payment mode.

                          You are therefore requested to take up the matter with the appropriate authority for early release of my pension.

DASARI. RAMAKRISHNA PRASAD.Inthis connection we have not received health insurance policy identity cards from ''FAMILY HEALTH T.P.A., PVT., LTD., So i request you please send a identity cards to me.

                              My Loan a/c is [protected] and remiting thru ECS every month. Last few months my EML has increased up to 2000/- aprox wothout any prior information. EMI was fixed as Rs -.16308Now I am paying Rs.17637 from last month.All of a sudden EMI of Rs.17637/- was deducted without any early notice, how will I keep such amount in my Bank. I request you to look into and send me statement to my residential address.

                              I appeal the concerned authority not deduct any amount or inrease period without any prior letter in advance.

                                I N. BALASUBRAMANIAN VISITED TO LIC HOUSING FINANCE LTD ASAF ALI ROAD BRANCH ON 08 JUNE 2011 WITH MY REQUESTED LETTER FOR RELEASE PAYMENT OF 3RD INSTALLMENT AGAINST HOUSING LOAN A/C[protected], FILE NO.31556 AND SUBMITTED THE DOCUMENTS TO MR AMIT AFTER THAT MR AMIT TOLD ME THAT THE PAYMENT WILL MADE IN A 3 TO 4 WORKING DAYS TIME AFTER THAT 15 JUNE 2011 YESTERDAY I AGAINST WENT TO LIC TO CHECK THE STATES OF THE PAYMENT BUT IT NOT READY SO THEY TOLD ME TO CONTACT THE AGENT I IMMEDTELY CALL MY AGENT AND HE WAS THEIR AND HE AND LIC ADVISE ME THAT BY TODAY EVENING 16.00 HRS THEY WILL PROCESS FOR PAYEMTN BUT TODAY 16 JUN 2011 I AM TRYING TO CALL THE LIC OFFICE BUT NO BODY HE ANSWER THE PHONE. I REQUEST YOU KINDLY LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND RESLOVE THE MY CASE.
                                This is a round Robin and you will have to bear it for taking a loan with LIC there are crooks sitting above us all. be patient is all i can say. ive gone through this. All they needed was a money to warm their hands inspite making sure that all my papers were dead right.

                                  I am an lic agent in kayamkulam branch( kerala). My agency code 1715796.I have paid premium amount Rs 18191 on 14/6/2011 through ePAY/To:LIC INDIA/4718048/LIC INVOICE.
                                  Invoice details are ( invoice id 05443494} amount Rs.18191.from this account number:[protected] from (union Bank of India).
                                  The amount has been debited from the account but has not updated in my premium point. please update as soon as possible.
