Sir,

I am a Policy Holder of LIC Branch Mayur Vihar Code 12F.
My Policy No[protected] dated 13/04/2011
Premium is Rs. 2000/ Mode ECS
Plan- Samridhi Plus

My First ECS was due for payment on 15/05/2011 but not deducted. As enquired by my Bank- State Bank of India Mayur Vihar Branch. I was not informed about not deduction. My agent told me that as per new guide lines of IRDA. Policy has lapsed. i approaced to Branch 12F, I waited in queue for payment for about 2 Hrs but due to change in LIC Software. system was not working. And as such that day was waste.
On Today also I went to deposit premium, I was informed that your policy is in force not Lapsed but as ECS Centre has not updated we can not aceept premium in Cash. Further asked to contact to ECS Centre. There is no Branch Manager and No Asstt Branch Manager.

Pls. help me what to do now.My premium is neigher being deducted nor being accepted in cash.

    Hi,

    I recently applied for LIC home loan and it got sanctioned on 26/05/2011 (File no [protected]).
    I had applied for 24,90000 rs. and for 5 yrs fixed term basis. Even in PDI interview the LIC person noted down the same details.

    But when I got the sanctioned letter it was for 19,90000 having floating rate of 9.9%.

    It seems LIC people have done blunders while entering the data.

    I never asked for floating interest rate and I am eligible for 35 lacs of loan amount.

    Could anyone please help me out with the process for asking these LIC guys to correct the sanctioned letter?

    I had applied for 1200000 rs. and for 15 yrs fixed term basis. Even in PDI interview the LIC person noted down the same details.

    But when I got the sanctioned letter it was for 850000 having floating rate of 9.9%.

    It seems LIC people have done blunders while entering the data.

    I never asked for floating interest rate and I am eligible for 16 lacs of loan amount.

    Could anyone please help me out with the process for asking these LIC guys to correct the sanctioned letter?

      I have not received my medical benefit cheque for April 2011. I have to follow it up, as they never send it as applicable, in October and April annually. Last week I emailed S.Karekar of P&GS Dept, MDO-1, reminding for this payment. I have been sent FALSE information that this was paid last year to me. In fact, last year I was paid for October 2009 & April 2010 only...

      Sir/Madam,
      THREE reminders have been sent to LIC, but they FAIL to act on these Complaints.
      As per your Letter for Policy[protected], WHAT do you mean by, "ORIGINAL POLICY BOND"?
      PLEASE PROVIDE FORMAT, OF THE BOND.
      Secondly, please specify in what way my request, for the Change of MODE in Policy #[protected] got to do with the BOND. Is it BASIC HARRASSMENT????
      Thirdly, Policy #[protected]/[protected]/ 89219124 needs RECALCULATION in premium levied and your Database needs to be updated about the same as I am unable to enroll the Policy with the new Data or rectify the Policy premium, at my end.

        I am sorry to inform that loan against my policy nos.[protected] &[protected] is pending with LIC'S 83A(BR.NO.2)at ANAND.I handed over application forms alongwith my original policy documents on 19/05/2011.

        Till date i.e after a lapse of even 20days no cheque is received by me towards disbursal of the loan.

        When BANKS are disbursing CAR LOANS within TWO days and HOUSING LOANS WITHIN SEVEN DAYS LIC is unable to disburse the loan against its own policy documents even after 20 days.

        I regret to inform you that THREE REMINDERS at [protected]@licindia.com
        & [protected]@licindia.com resulted useless.Even my FAX LETTERS at Central office no.[protected] and Zonal office[protected] proved a useless activity.
        The authorities of LIC OF india are as UNRESPONSIVE as their staff.
        Loan is demanded only when it is badly needed and when it is demanded and if not paid within a reasonable time IT IS A CRIME.

          I Mrs. Sandhya Ashutosh Tiwari, co applicant of account number[protected] Ref. LA- 505432) had applied for loan from LIC HFL, Swargate Branch, pune.
          The total amount of loan loan sanctioned was Rs, 2200000/- as per the letter received from LICHFL dated 6th Dec 2010.An executive of your office calculated the amount of loan as per the registered agreement of our flat ( i.e 85% to be Rs. 2170000/-.)
          While caculating the loan amount the LIC team left the MSEB charges and recalculated the loan amount to be Rs. 2124000, which is a wrong calculation from your end.This we had informed the department and also to the Area Manager of Swargate 3 months back.
          The details of the cheques disbursed so far is available with the team in the office.
          Even after informing and taking follow up from the office we haven't received the final cheque of Rs. 45000/-

          I am visiting the office every week to find out the status, but no one is taking the responsibility of it, every time they say it is being done. No one is responding properly regarding the status of our final settlement.Sir, its very difficult to go again and again to the office with my baby of 4 months, sitting for long hours and going back with no result.

          Kindly let me know what needs to be done, as it has already been delayed.

            I have paid full and final payment on 31-05-11 at ghaziabad branch. The amount cleared from my bank account on 03-06-11. The office deduct EMI on 06-06-11. What should I do ? The office did not replied my mail. They do not pick the phone. The area manager do not pick her mobile no. i ma helpless. I have to receive the original document as on date

              Sir/Madam,
              I want to bring the following to your kind notice :

              1. That I raised a loan of Rs 3,00,000 for purchase of a plot in 2004 and I made the full repayment of my
              2. outstanding loan on 29/4/2009 vide receipt No. A-0013723. An amount of Rs 233593 was paid by me on the date.
              3. It also to inform that my LIC money back policy (No.[protected] was also mortgaged under my loan account No. 2670024. I was told that the money received from the mortgaged LIC policy can be adjusted against the loan payment (principal).
              4. An amount of Rs 30,000 was received by LICHFL vide cheque No. 0917974 (AXIS Bank) dated 15/1/2009 from LIC India, Jhansi on account of my mortgaged policy. The amount received by LICHFL was neither adjusted nor refunded to me.
              5. The LICHFL claims that they have refunded the amount on 7/3/2009 but this was never received by me. I request the LICHFL to provide that details of the cheque issued to me, proof of sending the cheque by speed post/courier, proof of receipt of cheque by me and clearance of the cheque from their account but they are not able to provide any such details. Rather, they are adopting dilatory tactics.
              6. I have already submitted my application (hard copy) to the Manager (Operation) LICHFL, SAS House, Sapru Marg, Lucknow on 14/5/2011 but no action has been taken till date.
              I request the concerned authorities to kindly look into the matter and take necessary action for refund of Rs 30,000 along with interest as I have suffered the financial loss due to lapse on the part of LICHFL. Had the amount been adjusted against any of my loan amount, I would have got the benefit during last more than two years.

                I am Latha U. Sankar (Policy no:[protected], an NRI from Salem district. Last time when I visited India, I had invested my money for LIC INDIA - ANMOL JEEVAN (single premium scheme), term insurance on January 21st 2011. In this regard, I had issued a cheque for Rs. 20360, (rupees twenty thousand and three hundred and sixty), cheque no: 012432, dated[protected], SBI Bank, Salem Main Branch (0913). The cheque was collected by LIC on 25.01.2011. My policy proposal was forwarded by agent Mr. V. Parasuraman (Agent code: 04419766 Branch code-766).

                After the submission of my proposal, whenever I contacted him (Mr. V. Parasuraman, cell number: [protected]) regarding the status, he told me that my policy was under processing and he promised that he will deliver the document as soon as it is issued by the LIC. I came back to Taiwan on Feb 6th 2011.

                On Feb 2nd week (by the time I already returned to Taiwan), when I called him, he said my policy got rejected and I asked him to return my money. After that when ever I call him, he didn’t attend/respond the call. On the month of May, I called him again, and then he told me that my policy got approved. I asked him to send me the document. I got the document on June 2nd 2011. To my great shock, the policy was not Anmol jeevan, which I applied for; He had cheated me and signed himself without my knowledge on a new proposal form and submitted on behalf of me, for a regular premium policy (Jeevan Anand). The date of commencement of new policy was on 28th Feb 2011, while I was not in India during that time.

                I had paid about Rs.420 extra for the medical checkup to the lady doctor near 4 roads, Salem (paid the fee, Rs. 120) and for the medical lab (nearby lab) for blood and urine test (Paid Rs. 300). So, it’s a clear case of cheating, misinformation and fraud by the agent Mr. V. Parasuraman. I am send the the proof of all documents with this mail. I want him to be punished. I expect you to take action against him for this criminal offense and kindly give back my money without any deduction.

                  The above Policies were enrolled with you on 28th August 2007 for ECS and a mandate was given to debit the same from my A/c with Axis Bank as follows:
                  Policy No.[protected] dated[protected] for Rs. 3735 yearly.
                  Policy No.[protected] dated[protected] for Rs.3852 yearly.
                  Policy No.[protected] dated[protected] for Rs. 3872 yearly
                  Policy No.[protected] dated 28.01.2006 for Rs. 3891 yearly

                  The above transaction were then carried out as per the instructions from the year 2008 till the year 2010. This year the above has not been debited from my account and accordingly complaints
                  were registered as follows:
                  1) Online Complaint on 17th March 2011
                  2) LIC Service Branch through the letter sent by email on 1st March 2011.
                  3) Axis Bank Branch at Bangalore dated 24 March 2011.

                  A reply from Axis Branch in their letter dated 30th March 2011 (enclosed) states that the amount for the above policies were presented by LIC and the same were returned
                  for the reason “ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION DOES NOT TALLY” (ie NAME MISMATCH). The bank on my request had also repeated their advice to you on 20th February 2011.

                  On my follow up with the ECS Dept of LIC it seems there is no communication from your end and cannot be followed up.

                        With profound respect, I, Smt. Uma Banerjee , W/o Late Swadesh Ch. Banerjee, Ex. Sr. Divisional Personal Officer, N.F.Railway/Alipurduar divison, would like to inform you with great reluctance that the death claim against Policy mentioned above have not yet been settled despite of my sincere effects. The nonpayment of these death claims caused me a lot of financial impediment in these days of hardship. I, therefore, appeal to your good office for settlement of the death claim at the earliest.

                        That Sir, my husband had acquired 2 LICI policies through salary savings scheme vide Policy No.[protected] &[protected] at Tinsukia Branch. Subsequently, my husband had transferred to Alipurduar division during 1998; since then all the salary deductions of premiums were continued against the aforesaid policies through his salary in Alipurduar division paid directly to LICI Tinsukia branch.

                        That Sir, my husband also acquired 2 policies at LIC, Alipurduar branch during his posting at Alipurduar division. My husband Late Swadesh Ch. Banerjee demised on 11/05/2010. After his death, I approached to Alipurduar LIC office for submission of deeds/documents for settlement of death claim against policies acquired at LIC Alipurduar. On my course, I came to know that the policies acquired at Tinsukia branch have been transferred to Alipurduar branch and a large numbers of premiums against policies acquired at Tinsukia branch were unpaid at Tinsukia branch. On submission of relevant documents, the death claim against policies acquired at Alipurudar branch have been received. But as per records available with the railways, it reveals that all the premiums against policies acquired at Tinsukia division have been deducted from the salary account of my husband and deposited directly to LIC Tinsukia branch. Hence, the question of nonpayment of premium does not arise. The Xerox copies of the relevant records lying with the railways have been submitted to LIC Alipurduar branch. The said copies are also enclosed herewith for ready reference.

                        Moreover, it is also to inform you that the money back payment made against Policy No.[protected] on 06/12/2005 after deduction of Rs.2023 against survival benefit of Rs.10,000.

                        In view of the above, it is therefore requested to look into the matter and arrange to make early payment against Policy No.[protected] &[protected] in favour of Late Swadesh Ch. Banerjee.

                        Life Insurance Corporation of India — recovery after settlement of claim

                        Sirs
                        I have multiple policies with LIC. Two years back on the settlement of a discounted claim of a money back policy they forgot to deduct the payment of survival benefit given to me on two occasions. After six month of the settlement I received a letter from LIC to return the excess payment made to me. I took a stand that on the basis of your offer on my claim I agreed to the sum offered by you seeing that the amount is suitable to my purpose and I employed the money accordingly. Once a settlement is arrived at due deliberations and mutual consent now revoking of the said settlement is not possible and I am not agreeable to the proposal of refunding the money. Now the Divisional Manager has informed all branches where I service my policies to stall all the payments and claims and the officers pressurizing me to return the excess amount received. I contented that I have received the agreed amount and nothing more than that and any action to stall the payment is amounting to create charge on my policy or attachment of the same which act is not recognized as a good deal in the eyes of the law.

                        LIC OF INDIA DEATH CLAIM — NON PAYMENT OF DEATH INSURANCE CLAIM

                        My father Mr. Daksh kumar LIC policy no.[protected] died in accident on 29 march 2010. when Iapproached for claim then Mr. Devaki nandan, claim clerk at LIC branch no.1 Mathura asked Rs. 10000/- for finalisingh the claim.and told otherwise you will not get the claim you go anywhere. in this regard I gave a complain to the Branch Manager then afterthat was told to withdraw the complain and give a letter stating that now do not have any problem and your claim will be given so I gave such application and till today I have not been given my claim. my native place is 70 Kms. from Mathura, frequently I am going to branch and spending 150 Rs. and leaving my farming job. so kindly do the needful to get my claim and take suitable action against such people those are spoiling the name of organisation and making nation shameful.

                          I had a LIC policy No.[protected], which I surrendered prematurely on 13/05/2011 at Shiv Vilas Palace Branch Indore. I was told that the cheque would be released in 3/4 days but now I am told that due to some technical problem in feeding the data in soft they are not in a position to issue the cheque.
                          No body in LIC Indore is giving proper answer as to when the matter will be resolved.

                          I am LIC policy holder bearing number[protected]. I have surrendered the policy on 15th July 2011, and I have received the information through an agent that the cheque is ready on 18th July 2011 for 31, 920/-. Till now I have not received the cheque. Many a times I came in person to the Office but there was no proper reply.

                          As i need this amount very urgently, I have surrender the policy but there was no use in it. So, what is the use of entering LIC policy. So i need a quick reply from your side.

                              Dear Concern,

                              My father had taken a LIC policy ( Policy no.[protected] in the name of Mr. Amir Shaikh ). On his sad demise we had recevied the payment from LIC in the name of my mother. As my mother didn't had pan no. & any active bank account, there was some delay in depositing the cheque in bank. Also when the cheque was deposited in the bank, the cheque was lost by the bank. Hence the request was sent to LIC office at nagardas road, andheri east , Mumbai for stoppayment & reissuance to LIC in the month of March 2011. However till today I have not received the payment.

                              On making enquiry I am always told by Mrs Sandhya Nair ( LIC nagardas road, andheri east office, Mumbai ) that the cheque will be dispatched with in one to two days. But till today there is no receipt of cheque to me.

                              Kindly assist for speedy recovery of the funds.

                                I applied for transfer of my policy NO.[protected], from Mayur Vihar Phase I, 12F Branch to Branch Unit 731, City Branch X, CBO no.10, 45,Anna Salai, Chennai-600002. and also to change my residential address to new address: G-1, Plot II, Ganesh Enclave, Sunderesan Street, Zameen Pallavaram, Chennai - 600043 during June 2010 and again sent reminder in 27th May 2011 but till date the policy has not been transfered, my address is not changed and also not received the surivival benefit. Kindly let me know the status.

                                  I did not received my money back , which is mention in your policy. acc. to your policy I received cheuqe after every intervel . acc. to the policy we got 2 cheque , but sir I got only one cheuqe in the month of march 2011 amount 10000 /- . when I query to your office they didnot give satisfacory answer , they told me that your pre. cheque is send by regesitered post before 5 years . But i cannot received any cheque and payment from your side. So, sir please send me that cheque with interset as soon as possible early.

                                    Hi All,

                                    Here I am sharing you my experience with LIC Housing Finance.

                                    I have applied for a home loan from LIC housing Finance in the month of Feb 2011 for my flat in lotus Zing. As LIC was offering fixed rate of interest (9.75%) at that time. They took 1 weeks more time in processing the my application from the date they have promised. Due to which I have been sanctioned the loan @ of 9.90%. As per LICHF applicable rate of interest will be whatever it would be at the time of sanction not at the time of application. Till that time I accepted their offer as it was still competitive with other banks.

                                    Now the real pain starts, after my home loan sanctioned, I fwd them demand later from builder to my Agent on 25th March 2011, he told me it will be done in 10 days time. It took 40 days to get my first disbursement, that too when I track with my agent almost every day. This cost me 18% interest from builder. This was just due to their unprofessional behavior just like old Govt. offices.

                                    Now the time come for my next disbursement I fwd the request on 25th March, agent again told me that this time it will be done in 10 days time as all the documents are in place now. Now I am tracking my disbursement from last 15 days, I wrote to all their senior officials, whatever mail Id’s I could get from their site. I just received one response from Mr. Rakesh Kumar Agarwal, my case has been fwd to Area Manager, When I asked any ref. no for same, I did not get any reply. My agent and branch manager both keep telling me that it is under process. On 10th May when I asked for the disbursement my agent told me there is some outstanding of interest (Rs. 400/-). I was surprised, as they have never communicated about that, I paid that amount same day. After that again I am tracking my disbursement every day and yesterday I get to know that they have misplaced my demand latter and asked to submit the same.

                                    My observation about LICHF is …
                                    1) They don’t have any professionalism in their working and work like Govt. dept of 70’s.
                                    2) They don’t have any automated system in place, most of the system is manual.
                                    3) They don’t have any issue tracking system neither manual nor automated.
                                    4) Only contact point is Agent which is not the employee of LICHF.

                                    Please share if any body else also face any issue with LICHF.

                                    I am also facing the same problem.EXactly the same one as written above word by word. and builder BPTP has charged me interest @ 18% rate and given limit to make the balance payment by 10 May'11 else the flat booking will be forefeited.This payment is suppose to be made by LICHFL
                                    Me also facing the same problem. Its almost over 3months my loan sanctioned but still waiting for my first disbursement. :(
                                    I booked flat with Logix Blossom Green ... Expressway Noida
                                    Me also facing the same issue in pune swargate branch, its almost 50 day to get disbursement check, when i asking to manager he told that your case is in process, not giving the proper status of case.
                                    Me also in the same boat. Applied for a loan on 4th April 2011, got sanction letter on 1st June with a different name. They offered me 9.25% flotting and 9.9% fixed but later on they denied about fixed, stated that company has stopped the schem, now you can avail flotting at 9.9%. When got sanction letter, it was with 10.15%. Any how, I applied for disbursment of 10lac out of my limit of 14.5 lac. on 14th June. Branch manager Mr. Sharma and liC agent Mr. rajiv assured me, will get the cheque on 30th, so I postponed my dte of registration from 27th to 30th, but on 30th I did not get cheque with no reasons. They assured me, will get cheque on 2nd July but I postponed the registration date for 5th July. They hand over me a cheque of 14.5 lac on 7th. My seller started chasing for balace money and i visited 3 times in day to LIC office but result was Zero. I written complaints to Mr. rakesh agarwal & Ms. Chhavi Saxsena but did not recieved any comments on the same. Today is 11th and I am still chasing LIC people. Rakesh Kumar
                                    Me also facing the similar kind of issue. These agents are totally clueless on any information.
                                    At the disbursement everytime they promise fast response but always fail. They never pick up your phone. It is very difficult sometimes to meet them in person. Either LICHFL has very bad rules or center head make their own rules (becos in my case, LICHFL has almost different rules when compared to other LICHFL offices). Not sure where to file complain. I have been charged of 50K + of late payment charges from builder. It is hard earned money. My LICHFL home loan center gurgaon 2 branch head is Kawaljeet Kaur. She is a big fruad. She never attends to the customer in polite manner. She always has new things/rules in her mouth. None of employee/agent working under her is true. They all are fraud. I am frustrated by their work.
