I akanksha raj has purchased two policies vide no.[protected] and[protected] in the name of myself and manju rani respectively from branch 12H of LIC but i have not been able to get my monthly ECS deduction from my saving account of SBI,Rohini.with reference,all the required formalities of LIC have been completed and verified by the entrusted bank yet the ECS deduction is neither running nor responded since March 2011 till date. please do the needful.

    i have taken home loan from LICHF ,pune] two years back. Based on my salary my EMI was and now also its 19,580
    Now I have enough salary that I can pay EMI of 25 or 30k ,on front page .]. I visited LIC office and asked so they told me that we can increase your EMI max by 2000 rs .. we can’t do anything as system [I think their software gives result based on my salary inputted to it two years back ] says like that , I told them that my salary is revised now and I can pay more EMI ..

    are they correct ?

      I am posting this compliant on behalf on my father T. Mohan Kamath.
      He is a policy holder Future plus Policy no:[protected]. He has requested LIC to pay the full amount covered by the above said policy in lump sum and not in annually as he is not keeping well. Inspite of 3 months of the receipt of his request(attached for your reference), LIC have neither credited the amount nor done anything in pursuance of my request. LIC Branch office at Kanhangad where he has submitted the request has been deliberately dragging the matter stating one or other reasons.

        I have taken a jeevan aadhar policy . at the time of taking the insurance policy I was not informed by the LIC of India in any form what so ever that there is no maturity benefit of the policy. I was informed at the time of signing the proposal,by the agent of LIC of India that on maturity the annuity will be paid
        I have deposited with LIC of India A sum of Rs3, 70, 000( Rs Three lakh seventy thousands) in the form of premiums
        The policy is maturing in Nov 2011
        Now my poor health with 58 yeras of age and no income for the disabled . & unable to earn at this old age Please help us to get the justice from LIC of India
        Is it fair that old parents and disabled son are made to suffer ?
        LIC of India is sitting on the money stating that there is neither surrender of the policy nor the maturity benefit as we are alive .
        all that is rquested to you is to get us the pension/annuity from this policy or get us the maturity claim / surrnder of the policy

        Sir Jeevan Aadhar has no maturity amount. The claim is paid only on death of the life assured. The policy can not be surrendered.

        These are the basic feature of the policy.

        It is unfortunate that you have not fully understood the product features before buying.

        AFTER 65 YEARS NO INTEREST IS ADDED BY LIC EVEN IF BOTH ARE ALIVE ? IS IT FAIR TO SIT ON MY CONTRIBUTION AND ADD NO INTEREST TO IT ?
        YES UPTO 80 READY TO START THE ANNUITY . WHAT HAPPENS IF DEATH TAKES PLACE AFTER 80 YEARS OF AGE ? ANSWER BY LIC IS NOTHING TO BE PAID TO THER DISABLED THE DISABLED IS ABOVE 50 YEARS AGE . IS IT FAIR ?

        I am retired employee. I too have taken LIC Jeevan Adhar policy for Rs.75, 000/- and the premiums were paid from my salary since 15 years. While taking the policy the agent misguided me that I would get 20% of maturity value+approximately Rs.800 pension for my mentally handicapped son as long as he alive. The policy will be ended by Oct 2011 and I was sacked to hear from LIC Cir VIII Hyd, that nothing will be paid either to me or to my handicapped son even after completion of total premiums. I felt very bad, disappointed and unbelievable to note that LIC being such a reputed organisation is not sympathic on old parents like me or their disabled dependants. It seems this policy is no way worthful since LIC linked the payment under the conditon if the proposer (who all the way lookafter his dependant) should leave the earth even though total premiums paid during entire service.

        I too had taken this policy for 5L, year 2018 I paid the last premium, now when I went to LIC, they said you will get benefit out of this policy only when you die... entire hard earned money is struck with LIC now, who will feed my son ... unfortunately I am alive..

Policy no. 27771 Since 2008 we have been pressing for early release of death claim of our two members one of them a IVth grade employee,RAM MUNI RAM and the other a grade III employee, RAMJEE PRASAD . Besides post retirement claims of our three members have not been processed.             My Name is Madhukar Garg and I applied for Pre – Sanction Housing Loan in LIC Housing Pune (Swargate) Branch on date 20th May 2011.

            I contacted by an LIC Executive named “Santosh” on the day and submitted all required documents that he told me.

            At the time of application, he (Santosh) said that I will get sanction letter in next 7 working days but it is more than 2 months completed and I am still waiting for the same.

            When I asked for reason he said their area manager got transferred. I continuously made him calls every 3-4 days with no response at all. Every time he said there is a requirement of some documents.
            20 days back I was asked to submit my latest form 16 that I submitted immediately.

            The Cheque that I submit has already en-cashed on 10th June 2011.

            10 days back from today (i.e. 20th July) I visited to LIC Pune Office (Swargate), Santosh asked me to meet Mr Prakash Tiwari.

            Mr. Tiwari said that my file is just transferred to LIC Housing Main Office in Pune 2 days back (i.e. 11th July)…When I asked reason for that much delay then again he said area manager got transferred… then I asked him to give his statement in written, he said instead of writing this he will write that my documents were not completed.

            I just wrote the above to their following complaint officers:

            I asked to cancel my loan application and returned my all documents and refund my money.

              I have a sanctioned home loan from LIC of 30Lacs and first installment is already disbursed (5.11 Lacs). Last 2 requests have been put on hold by them for some unknown reason and they say that my builder is not complying with some authority rules. Surpizingly, all other banks including govt banks are easily disbursing the loan.

              The fact is that my loan was sanctioned at a much lower rate than current market rate (@9.25%) and is fixed for first 5 years. They cannot change the interest rates and hence do not want to disburse the loan.

              Never ever try to take a loan from these guys...

                I HAD TAKEN THE ABOVE LIC POLICY ON 14.01.2001 AND THE LAST DATE OF PAYMENT WAS 05.01.2009 .AT THE TIME OF TAKING THE POLICY I WAS TOLD THAT YOU HAVE A OPTION EITHER TO RECEIVE THE MONTHLY PENSION OR THE TOTAL SURRENDER VALUE. AFTER MATURITY I WAS ASKED TO SIGN SOME PAPERS AND GIVE THE BANK DETAILS AND CANCELED CHEQUE FOR CLAIMING THE AMOUNT. AFTER SOME TIME I RECEIVED A LUMP SUM AMT ABOUT 25 % AND LATER ON WAS TOLD THAT YOU WILL GET SOME YEARLY APP . PENSION OF RS 10000 PA. TILL DATE NOTHING HAS BEEN RECEIVED BY ME.

                MY REQUEST IS THAT I MAY BE GIVEN BACK THE MATURITY AMOUNT ( SURRENDER POLICY VALUE ) WITH BONUS AND INTEREST OF TWO YEARS

                IN CASE I GET THE PENSION I RECEIVE ONLY AROUND 8.5 % OF PENSION OF THE TOTAL AMOUNT .

                  Sir,I (Z Hussain,[protected],Chennai ) have one LIC policy with number[protected] which I opened in Sep2010 and I gave my axis bank cheque leaf for ECS for premium clearance. But till May2011,ECS was not done by LIC and my policy was in lapse. So I issued my hdfc bank cheque leaf on May2011 and cleared all past premiums in cash and signed for ECS change form.
                  So wef June,ECS must be cleared from my hdfc bank account. But the problem is that LIC ignored my hdfc bank account without consulting me and LIC put cheque leaf to axis bank. As I changed cheque leaf,so I was not keeping money in axis bank. The LIC agent told me that premium amount would be ECS cleared from my hdfc account,but LIC put forth the cheque leaf to axis
                  1)axis bank is charging penalty for cheque bounces ,all because of LIC irresponsible attitude
                  2)LIC response to me is not satisfactory.
                  Please write to me because LIC has no right to forward cheque leaf to axis bank when I put forth ECS change request in May2011.
                  LIC is telling me reason that their server was not responding for 2 months,but I have got nothing to do with their problem . I want penalty charges to be borne by LIC

                    My this complaint is regarding the fake promises given to me and misguide me regarding the LIC plans by Sachdeva corporate,Building no 6,DDA complex Sec 8 Rohini,
                    I Got the call from this company on April 15 regarding the plan of Jivan Saral I which I had to pay sum of 48040/- for one year and after that 4000 every month
                    Till 15 years ,they told me that we have an additional bonus scheme in which you will get 24020/- cash back within of 3 months,
                    Then I purchased policy on 28th April 2011 after paying them 48040/-.after that I was waiting for any payment slip and after 2 months they have provided me the slip after I filed one
                    complaint at customer care, and again I asked for the policy bond but with empty handed I filed one more complaint they provided me policy bond this month (july)only.
                    Now they are not picking up my phone when I am asking abt that Bonus, they sold me the wrong policy in which I have to pay for 15 years to reach the same amount that the promised me for 11 years .
                    I am very much scared about my investments and mentally harassed by these peoples please do needful .

                      LIC Credit Cards have given me the most horrendous and torturous time of my life.
                      I submitted my application thru their agent in Mumbai named Mr.Pawaskar on January 30th,2011. Today is July 27th,2011 and I am still under the dark what my application status is. The customer service is horrible and extremely irresponsible. They no authority what so ever to atleast make an escalation for a case which is pending for 7 months. They first declined my application stating that I do not have a policy with them for over one year. Well, nobody is stupid to apply for the card without reading the eligibility criteria. The explanations provided were so ridiculous that nobody could believe them. I finally got a hold of someone from their Delhi office and I had them to reevaluate my application and to my extreme dissappointment, it is still pending. LIC credit cards is the worst credit card company that has ever existed on this planet. Extremely incompetant! I would never recommend this card to anybody. The staff is a cherry on the cake and they have continuously added to my grief without fail!

                        I am one of your sincere account holder & regularly paying my EMI since 2004. Even though my Ledger a/c in yours books shows huge amount as outstanding since long back.

                        Even Bank also published my name in CIBIL list without any default from my side. CIBIL report shows outstanding of one EMI of period 2008, which i have already deposited in Punjab National Bank in Cash.

                        Since last 2 to 3 years i am in regular touch with your Vashi Branch to update my a/c but nobody taken it seriously. During this period i have communicated with Sayra Madam, Vaishali Madam, Jeena Madam & lastly with one Madam (Name not remember) to solve the matter as early as possible.

                        This problem starts since June-2008. In the month of June-2008 i have deposited my both EMI i.e. 2815/- & 1013/- in Cash at PNB – Khopoli Branch. After two or three month i noticed that Bank wrongly credited my A/c twicely by Rs 2815/- instead of Rs 2815/- & 1013/-. I informed the same to your Vashi Branch for correction of the same. But the Bank only reversed the one entry of 2815/- which was double credit to my a/c & never passed another entry for Rs 1013/- which was already deposited by me.

                        I this regard, i have submitted acknowledgement copy of Challan twicely to your Vashi Office for update the same. But still the matter is pending saying that it’s under discussion with your corporate office.

                        As per me, there is no any EMI is outstanding from my side except EMI for current month i.e. July-2011.

                        After discontinuation of Cash Challan by your branch, I have personally deposited my EMI to your Vashi office through cheque payment.

                        For reconciliation to find out difference, i obtained statement of Account for both files for period from Apr-2008 to June-2011. I verified the statement & found that :

                        1. Whenever i deposit my EMI, initially they kept all amount in Suspense A/c.
                        2. Then Bank charge me Addl Interest & Debit the same to my A/c
                        3. Bank also Debited Recovery Charges to my Account
                        4. Then finally they adjusted or transferred this Suspense Amount to my Leger after debiting all this Addl Interest & Recovery Charges.
                        5. Bank also passed various entries that mixed my EMI of my both a/c. i.e. deposited for one A/c & credit given to other a/c.

                        I don’t know why bank has Debited Recovery Charges & Addl Interest on me. Because i personally depositing my EMI to your Vashi office on regular basis. Why nobody is serious from your side to solve the matter immediately. Only i received copy from your corporate office showing this much amount is outstanding from your side, on regular basis.

                        Now i request you, please look into the matter to regularise the same at the earliest. If required, i will be available any time & can show you all details that’s required to you.

                        Also request you please arrange to clear my name from CIBIL list. Because CIBIL list shows outstanding of one EMI, that is already paid by me in Cash to Punjab National Bank.

                        Please take initiative to solve my problem at the earliest.

                            I would like to bring this issue to your notice that there were misprinting errors in Set B paper of LIC AAO which was reconducted on 17th july 2011. Due to this there was lots of confusion among students. There was no one from LIC present at the examination center so this error should be taken into account by LIC Exam Controller and accordingly marks should be provided as selection of many deserving students are dependent on this

                            I WROTE LIC AAO EXAM ON 17TH JULY 2011, I ATTEND THE EXAM CENTER 30 MINUTES AS IN THE CALL LETER, BUT THEY ALLOWED US TO THE CLASS ROOMS 10 MN BEFORE THE EXAM TIME. THEY DIDNT GIVE ANY EXTRA TIME FOR FILLING THE ROLL NUMBER ETC OF OMR SHEET. THEY GAVE THE QUESTION PAPER AND THEY ASKED US TO START THE EXAM AT 10:10. AND THEY TAKEN THE PAPER EXACTLY AT 12. DUE TO THIS I LOST 10 MINUTES OF EXAM TIME.
                            AND UNLUCKILY I GOT THE QUESTION PAPER WHICH DOES NOT HAVE ARITHEMETIC SECTION, IN THAT SECTION I GOT REASONING QUESTIONS AGAIN. I CHECKED THE PAPER BEFORE WRITING THE EXAM, FOR TOTAL PAPERS ARE THERE ARE NOT. BUT I DIDNT EXPECT THIS TYPE OF MISTAKE WILL OCCURE.
                            I INFORMED INVISILATOR ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND HE TAKEN MORE THAN 10 MINUTS TO CHAGE THE PAPER.
                            BY THIS TWO PROBLEMS 20 MINUTES OF THE EXAM TIME WASTED.

                            I PREPARED FOR THE EXAM WELL AND THE PAPER ALSO VERY EASY. DUE TO THE ABOVE PROBLEMS I COULD NOT ATTEMPT 30 BITS.

                            ITS MY DREAM TO GET THAT JOB... AS BEFORE I CLEARED WRITTEN TEST OF LIC (ADO) AND I FAILED IN THE LIC(ADO) INTERVIEW. THE INTERVIEW PANEL MEM ADVISE ME TO WRITE AAO EXAM AND THEY TOLD ME THAT IT SUITES ME...

                            FROM THAT DAY I SERIOUSLY PREPARED FOR THE EXAM. BUT I COULD NOT MAKE IT WELL.

                            IN THIS WHOSE PROBLEM IS THERE...

                            BUT I LOST THE CHANCE OF EVEN CLEARING THE EXAM...ITS MY BAD LUCK...???????

                              Policy maturity on[protected].
                              Maturity amount after adjustment will more than pay for the outstanding loan amount.
                              Many visits to the branch office have not been able to fetch a response.
                              Now the branch does not attend the phone calls.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  I have applied for home loan with LIC HF in 2nd week of Aug 2010. The file no is 208773 dated 23/08/2010 and they issued me sanction letter.

                                  I have given one signed cheque along with filled application form for Home loan with jogeshwari-east branch.

                                  But after 1 week submitting the form, I have informed and mailed them not to process my application. But still they deposited my cheue for Rs.5,500 on 20/08/2010. I have saved all those mails sent them for not processing the loan. I have contacted Mr.Vishal Joshi,(Mobile [protected]) Jogeshwari-e Branch Manager of LIC HF. He promised me to get back the amount deducted by them. But after some time he also not responding to my mails or phones.

                                  But as per rules they should deduct Rs.1000 and back the rest of the amount.

                                  Please do the needful and provide justice to me.

                                      During final settlement (cheque no. 00376503 of of Corporation Bank for amount of Rs,31,464/-) units sold from my policy as mentioned were only 2656.207 against the total units 2664.278 available in my account.

                                      This has reference to the above policy no.[protected], dated:29/03/2007 issued in my name (Abhishek Swarnkar), and my telephonic discussions held with your LIC agent Ms.Meera Jha (Code:[protected]whom always been represented by her husband Mr. Manoj jha as himself as the LIC agent on above Agent Code)

                                      1. At the time of selling the above mentioned policy, Mrs/Mr. Jha has informed me that I would have to pay minimum first three premiums( i.e. up to March'2009). & my policy was supposed to continue till maturity i.e. 29/03/2026.

                                      I had paid all the three payments for the progressive financial years i.e 2006-07, 2007-08 & 2008-09 as per the above information. I had received an email from LIC that my aforesaid policy has been lapsed, which was a surprise to me. After raising the issue to LIC I had received the reply that the same policy has been lapsed due to non payment as I had not paid the fourth premium in financial year 2009-10.

                                      2. As I did not want to continue with my policy after such unsatisfactory instances, I had handed over the origional policy document to Ms/Mr. Jha for surrendering on date:13/09/2011 & refunding the amount for selling all the 2664.278 units available in my account at the current prevailing market NAV.

                                      3. Despite of my repeated requests, Mrs./Mr. Jha has failed to surrender the policy units till dt: 10/02/2011. This inefficiency of your LIC agent Mrs Jha has resulted me the loss. At that time the prevailing market NAV was near around Rs.15.00, which could have amounted much more for refund against the selling of 2664.278 units.

                                      4. At the time of issue of policy, I was never informed that any charges shall be levied on the policy at the time of surrendering of policy, which cam as a surprise to me. I got the final settlement letter along with cheque no. 00376503 of of Corporation Bank for amount of Rs,31,464/- for selling o[censored]nits 2656.207 against the total units 2664.278 available in my account. For that Ms. Jha has informed me that 8.07 nos. o[censored]nits were deducted as duty charges by LIC. However which has not been mentioned anywhere in the final settlement letter.

                                      After some discussions your agent has assured me to settle the loss amount money with the next policy I would purchase from her.

                                      This is for your kind information and to bring in your notice, how the customers of LIC are being treated by your profound authorized agents. Your kind intervention is requested with the above issue & to take necessary steps for settling the loss incurred to me.
