Life Insurance Corporation of India [LIC] Complaints & Reviews

Hi all,

I am having an Policy from LIC India. After completion of 5 yr, I got cash back from LIC amount of 60K INR. I submitted by cheque to HDFC bank Banda. From my bank, I came to know that cheque is bounced due to mismatch of signature. I have complaint through LIC website and got a call from respective branch for further process. As of now nothing is done even I don't have any information of my cheque and nobody is taking the responsibility for this.
MISMATCH OF SIGNATURE is itself a crime with India's largest insurance company.
Please help me.

He takes your money and do not give policies as well as do not return your money.
I cheated me for Rs. 3156 that I gave him to renew my policy.... I sent him money on 04 APR 2012... now it has been more than 8 months, he does not even response.
Please take action against him.

It is very sad to say that inspite of so many reminders you have not deposited the said amount in my bank account after fulfilling all responsibilities either. It seems your intentions are not clear. Your delay is forcing me to take some strict action . I am already paying huge amount of premium against my other Lic policies and this action of yours is creating doubt against LIC and forcing me to think if my money is safe with you or not. I am again sending you the canceled copy of the cheque so pls do the needful so that we can of healthy relation ship in future.

As My Father expired on 2005 26th Aug,he was employee of Oriental Inssurance Co.Ltd and he had some Salary Saving Policies which were not Paid till date,whereas i have submitted the intimation on 5th Sept 2005 as well as again on March 2012,I was intimating them everyear.I had submitted all the policies as well as all the papers works required for claimant.The Policies No were:[protected],[protected],[protected] of Late S.C. Baidya.
I want the policies to be paid which includes last 7yr interest as well as the harassment they had gave for the last 7yrs.

Dear sir,
I have annuity noLX0034060 and LIC ANNUITY CARD no. [protected].It has been isued by LIC OF INDIA, Fort Brach, Mumbai.I am not getting annuity of Rs.410from July,2012. On inquiry they informed that doctor certificate is required to confirm alive of the person that has also been sent 20days back.But no response received till now.

i had paid premium on 26/05/2012 for policy number[protected]. it is single time premium. seven months has passed but still i have not got my bond for the policy. i lodged the complaint twice online in LIC portal. the complaint number is [protected] and [protected] but there is no response. therefore using this platform , i would like to have the status of my policy and reason behind the delay

This is to inform you that my husband original policy no[protected] was submited to your branch (buxer) on date 8 /10/2012 for redemption along with death cerificate and required documemts.,But still we have not received ita payment or any information from your end. Dear Sir,
I have deposited my matured LIC policy no[protected] with NEFT form and Withdrawal Form on 23/11/12 at Purnea branch to Mr Sanjay an employee of LIC and got assurance that within one week amount will be credited to my saving bank account no which has been provided on NEFT form but till now it has not been credited to my account.After contacting with Mr Sanjay over phone,I received the answer that NEFT form which has been deposited by me has been misplaced,then I have provided my bank details and IFSC code by SMS on his mobile no but still struggling for the fund.

Secondly,for policy no[protected] for my father has been sent through Speed Post on 28/11/12 with ref no-EF[protected]IN and has been delivered on 01/12/12 at Purnea Branch but this policy has also not been credited to my father's account.

For both the policy,I have received the same answer for misplace of NEFT Form.
How is it possible that both the forms has been misplaced?This shows immaturity of an employee Mr Sanjay.

Request you to check the same.

I returned cheque issued by LIC, group scheme deptt. mumbai division I, new india building, s v road mumbai 400 054 for Rs. 1424/- for revalidating or direct remitance to my account which is already available to LIC. this cheque pertain to annuity due in april 2012. I am sorry to say that till time neither received fresh cheque nor received direct payment from LIC to my account. However I received annuity due in oct. 12 by way of direct payment in my account. I request to remit payment to my account at the earliest.

Dear Sir

My Annuity Number is 091H[protected].
This is with LIC Pension & GS , Hindustan Building Jamshedpur.

From last six year, the payment was not made by LIC. It was due , to be paid half yearly.

On 1st Oct'12 I had travelled to Jamshedpur, and visited the branch. Officer did identity verification and assured that all outstanding will paid between 10-15 days. More than 2 months passed, nothing happened.

This seems that LIC does not want to make payment as per policy. When I called the branch on 3rd Dec'12..the tele phonically, the branch replied, that your payment is in process and by 6th or 10thDec it will go to your bank.

When I called on 6th, Dec12 today, the branch after checking the system replied that your existence status is not updated.I want to ask a question, when I visited branch on 1st Oct'12 and officer verified identity and also got ECS forms filled, were just a show case to pass the time. This shows how casually LIC is dealing with policy holder.

Kindly help me, really I have lost the trust in such dealings.
