We have purchased a flat at Kolkhe village, near Palaspa Fata {Junction of Old Mumbai-Pune Highway & Mumbai-Goa Highway(Turn)}. Inspite of repeated email correspondence to varous authorities like MERC at [protected]@mercindia.org.in, Superintending Engineer , Pen Circle & Executive Engineer, Panvel (Rural) Division at [protected]@ho.mahadiscom.in & [protected]@mahadiscom.in, Sub-Division Incharge, Bhingari, Panvel at [protected]@ho.mahadiscom.in and the Executive Engineer, Panvel at [protected]@mahadiscom.in, they were not able to reply back with the reason for the electricity failure in our society.

Though there has been declared that there would be no loadsheding in this area henceforth, evenafter, there is frequent electric failure.I have been trying to get in contact with the concerned authority since June 2, 2011.The main reason for my electricity connection is that my grandmother is on a ventilator and needs electricity every now and then. Inverter is not a good option. Hence I want the electricity supply to be regularised. Hence please help me and treat this as emergency

i am a doctor & i was practising in 383 shaniwar peth satara maharashtra in a rental place.electrical connection in this place was on my name. in october 21012 i have closed my dispensary .i have paid all the dews as my ele. biil. In february 2013 i have applied for refund my security deposit .But till to day i have not received any reply from the co.Please let me know whether I should axpect my secu.dep refund before my death or not & when i should expect it .in last 6 month the concern person looking the matter is changed 3 times & not knowing about my apllicaion.

    This is with reference to my bill of June 2011

    Bill Consumer No :[protected], Bill Date : 20th June 2011, Bill period : 10-MAY-11 to 10-JUN-11,
    Bill Amount : INR 3300 Rs.

    Last month also the bill amount was very high.

    Units for May : 472 Bill Amount : 3300
    Units for June : 517 Bill Amount : 2670

    Have visited physically to Nerul, navi mumbai, mseb office earlier also and submitted the complaint, but nothing was done.

    Request you to kindly get this checked, why the units are more for this meter.

    The person who stay just below my flat whose consumer No :[protected] is getting bill with Bill amount as 0.

    Request you to get this checked and change the meter.

    we are living only 2 peoples in house, and both are at home at night only.
    at our last rented house our bills were around 300-350...
    after shifting to this rented house our bill was coming double around 600-650...in last month it was 700.
    when electricity usage was same then why be the bills differ?
    so this is an request to you please check out the meter is working properly or not.

      I had purchase new flat in chakan, pune last year. I had paid 15000 rupees for electrical connection, after 1.5 year I am not getting any electrical bill from MSEB, Chakan.
      I had take this issue with concern MSEB as well as Builder but helpless. Please suggest what will I do for get this bill ????

            Hello sir,

            I am logging this complaint with regards to the pathetic state of electricity distribution in Azad nagar, Wanoree, Pune

            We don't receive continous supply of electricity, every day atleast 2-3 hrs of power cut is minimum , even when this areas come under Pune city limits and is situted in prime location.

            The worst part is none of the phone numbers of MSEB complaint is available, its always engaged and some numbers mentioned on MSEB website are not even working. the sub engineer never picks up his phone. We have been visiting Hadaspar complaint office for three days , but no one is taking things seriously. Only once an engineer came to visit , he did some patch work , within 15 mins after he left , we were back to same state, no electricity. After that its been 1 day now , no response from MSEB officals

              Respected sir/madam,
              I the resident of SINDHUTIRTH CHS, MAKAMALI TALAO THANE(WEST) wants to grab ur attention towards the frequent electricity cutt off in our locality. This is the time of summer then to there be's no electricity in the afternoon or morning time and for 1hr at night. time.And the reason for this complaint is that this happens only in our area and other society which are on the other hand of the road have electricity when we dont have.
              I think there may be a fault in the line in our locality this happens from our society (which is next to the talao) till the RISK CARE HOSPITAL. In between there are many societies and chawls which have submitted this complaints many a times but MSEB OFFICIALs do not respond to it.Its summer and there is a cutt off at nights so its impossible to get a good sleep.and when we wake up we can see that other buildings have lights but only our area doesn't so please take some actions on it.Today also at present there is no electricity here but other shops and societies on the other side of the road have it.Its been 3Hrs now ,we r without electricity.
              I took the initiative about complaining because i have heard a lot good about your actions on the complaints of the one who is suffering.Hoping that u would take some serious actions on them.

                The Electricity Bill dated 25/05/2011 for the Consumer No.[protected] shows the amount payable as Rs.630/-, as the meter reading has been indicated as faulty. A copy of the Bill is enclosed.

                I would like to state that the Meter No. [protected] is not faulty and the reason for no change in the reading is that the flat is vacant from April 2011 and will be vacant till August 2011, as some renovation work is being carried out in the flat. I, therefore, request that I may be charged for the actual consumption as per meter reading/minimum charges during the period from May 2011 to August 2011. The amount paid against this bill may please be adjusted against future bills.

                  From Today early[protected]:30 AM till now (2:00 PM) There is no electricity in my area (Kopri Check naka Thane East). It's now almost more than 13 hours and there is no electricity and people in MSEB office are not answering the phone call.

                    I had submitted an application with all relevant documents for change of name in electricity bill on 5th February 2011, vide Application number :[protected], Consumer Number:[protected]

                    Today after three and a half months, they authorities at Dapodi Sub DIvision, Kharalwadi Sub Division and Bhosari sub Division deny receiving any such documents from CFC center at Pimplesaudagar.

                    They requested me to resubmit the documents, but why should I do it again. i have the acknowledgement for receipt of documents, they should change the name considering this document only.

                      Hi,

                      I Rohit Vilas Jadhav sending this email on behalf of my father Vilas Gopal Jadhav,
                      Its been high time and shameful to notify again and again about foolish work of MSEB Department Across maharashtra. I own a house at Bhraman Wadi (Patekar Wadi) House no 93, Area Jalgaon which is nearlly 3km's from Dapoli Bus Stand. I keep on travelling to Dapoli in month or two.

                      Major problem I see there is

                      1) Load Shading for full day, twice in a weak.
                      2) This causes no water situation since most of the water supply is on electric pumps. Due to no electricity there is no water supplied.
                      3) Whenever complaint is logged in nearest MSEB Branch there is always a response saying, Some maintenance activity is going on, but there is no solution on this till date.

                      My Queries here :

                      1) Why there is still a Load Shading in this area that to for 8 to 9hrs twice a weak....? As per my understanding load shading is stopped long back and that to officially...
                      Is it something like people are trying to make money out of it..?
                      2) What is that maintenance activity which is getting carried out from last so many years and which is still not complete....? Or here as well!!! there is money making working going on....?
                      3) What is the Action plan MSEB has to reduce load shading which is no more official and give continuous Electric Supply..?
                      4) Always it is said from MSEB Dapoli office : We are asked from Ratnagiri MSEB Top officials for power cut and load shading……..?
                      Who are these SHAMELESS TOP OFFICIALS…….? If you really care for Maharashtra just puke out there names and then see what I will do…….

                      Concerns :

                      1) This might be a shameful fact :
                      Hope MSEB and Politicians are matured enough to face and feel about situation when it is 38 degree outside and people are with No Current and Fans Switched off at Home..? This is a concern area now.
                      2) There is irregular water supply which is due to Shameless Electric Department's useless maintenance load shading.


                      I WANT RESPONSE TO ALL MY POINTS IN WRITTEN, REST I AM APPROACHING CONSUMER COURT AND RAISING RTI AS WELL AGAINST MSEB RATNAGIRI DEPARTMENT. SOON YOU WILL HAVE TO BE READY TO ANSWER QUESTIONS.


                      REMEMBER SOCH IS A VIRUZ, WE ALL ARE MOVING TO NEW ERA, IF I PASS THIS VIRUZ IN DAPOLI PEOPLES BRAINZ, THEN YOU ALL WILL HAVE TO FACE CONSEQUENCES, BETTER IMPROVE YOUSELF's.

                      Dapoli is one of the upcoming tourism place. Such things will really take away charm and economy flow.

                      Every whole night power is not in our village its very difficult for all of our villager we did complaint in electric office dapoli and dabhol electric office but they not reply well just said work is under process so until when it's finish they also don't know. Check with them and sort out our problem

                        I'm a resident of small village Vankipada of Navapur taluka & the villagera belong to scheduled tribe & most of them are not much educated & innocent.Before two days the transformer of the electricity became faulty,after the complaint two wireman from msedcl came to change it.But,before they start their work 25/-Rs.from each house were collected(Appro.100 houses are here) to give to those two wireman.If the wireman were not given money,they would have not changed the transformer.Now,I want to know aren't they paid by MSEDCL?Or is it a fault of tribal people?Let me tell whether the wireman shoud be punished to set an example or not?I don't know those name but officers can easily find them out & if the officers don't take action against them,the people will have to suffer.

                          My complaint is regarding wrongly charged bill since 24 months by Maharashtra State Electricity Board. Actually since the new Meter is been implemented. Suddenly after that, my bill is doubled and even though I have reduced my consumption substantially, bill amount is in the same range.
                          I have complained couple of time regarding this in the regional office, but as expected nobody even visited to check the meter. I have tried all the ways to resolve this issue, but the problem is still there. My all required details are given below.

                            Poor website. Never works properly.
                            Billing is very slow and it also never works. Bill uploads are late on site.
                            You get your hard copy and after a week you find it on net.
                            Says your log in pass is incorrect, when it's damn correct.

                            Poor and worst customer satisfaction.

                            All these govt ****** are out there...!! All corrupt. ****** !!!

                              This is Arvind Eknath Pandit, residing at Vishnu Kunj kesar baug,L.T Road .Near Station ,Mulund (east) Mumbai-81.i hereby request officer to separate electricity meter of me and my relative Mrs.Jayashree Godbole.
                              This meter was combined by MSEB officers 4-5 years back, but at that time Mrs.Jayashree Godbole was not staying in Mumbai so it was not affecting me. but now a days she permanently shifted to her Mumbai house where she have started using electricity due to which whatever usage she will do directly will be added to my commercial bill which is unfair, I don’t want to bear any expenses on her behalf. As we have some family disputes.
                              This is my humble request to the officer to come at above mentioned residence and do the separation of electricity meter as soon as possible.

                                I have given the written compliant against meter reading. Our monthly meter reading is coming approx 200 unit which is not correct no one is staying at home in day time. But my bill is coming aroun 1000 per month.

                                I went to eletricity office but they are saying your bill is correct without any varification. Kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

                                  Yesterday morning there was a sudden surge in voltage in our H building in Viola Co op hsg society, Warje, Pune 52. Due to this sudden very high voltage there is damage to the electronic equipments/appliances like LCD TV, Tata Sky instrument, Sony Home Theatre, Air conditioner, Fridge and the lamps in house. The voltage surge was very high and all these appliances are damages and out of order. The tube lights fitted in staircase of each floor got heavily damaged and the chokes got burned.

                                  We have informed the matter to MSEB for necessary corrective and preventive actions. I request concern authorities to look into the matter immediately and evaluate the losses cause due to damage of these equipments. Also request you to kindly compensate the losses urgently.

                                  Since this is a safety issue and could cause a fatal accident, concern officers must investigate the matter urgently.

                                    My consumer No.[protected] and billing unit no. 0329/Bhingari.SUBDN/PH.nO.27452585. Having residence at H.27, Village-Targhar, Post-Ulwa, Taluka- Panvel, Raigad.
                                    Had made written complents 4 months ago to Bhingari Office regarding low & continuous fluctuation in voltage. But no action has been taken in this regards. I also follow up the sectional engineer Mr. Kumawat in this regards, then he told me that he has submitted proposal to Mr. Mahale who is seating at Bhingari Office of separate the Transformer for the village apart from the commercial users which are using same Transformer at present.

                                      MSEB has not improved yet in spite of bifurcating in two companies. The officers and the employees are still in British Rule. It can be ascertained from my experience. I am (Dinesh Bhonde) resident of Sai Apartments, 18 Khare town Dharmpeth Nagpur. MSEB Consumer number[protected] meter in name of Mohini Constructions, Nagpur (I tried to change the meter in my name but the procedure is so bloody, it kills you. A consumer asking meter in his name, the MSEB does not give. This is the only organization which is barring customers not to do good things for the company.)

                                      In March 2011, I did not receive electricity bills. Perhaps not send by MSEB. Because they do not have any proof of sending it to me. I always pay bill online by transferring money by net banking. As I did not receive the bill I could not pay it.The last date of the bill was 16th March 2011 and later it was to be paid with some fine. On 23rd evening I received the phone call from my wife that our power is cut. I left my important office work and rushed home and then to MSEB office. I came to know that my bill was some Rs 803 and not paid by 16th March, therefore power is cut. I asked him how my power is cut without intimating me by phone, sms, email or orally, But the poor chap did not have answer. He asked me to pay the bill by cheque. I went to home brought the cheque and gave him. He said he wouldl send the persons to connect the wire. The class four employees whom we call linemen were chatting and sharing tobacco occupying all chairs in office ( Shankar Nagar Power House Office) spreading their legs. I asked them to come but they did not. I went home after half an hour I rang to Executive Engineer. Then these persons come after 2 hours and connected my wire. We were in dark for 4 hours, I had to suspend all my pre assignments. The questions arise--
                                      1) The bill it self mentions that, you have to pay Rs 803 after due date instead of 790.- means Late Fee
                                      2) The MSEB should intimate if they have any such rule to cut the power after 7 days of due date without informing the customer.WE will challenge in the court
                                      3) Who has given MSEB class 4 employee right to cut the power, break the seals and remove the grip?
                                      4)How the customers can be put to trouble without intimating them of non payment of bills and the power cut.
                                      5) The MSEB officers I feel understand recent technology as they have provided facility of online bill payment. Why they do not inform the customers of non payment and the action that would be taken by SMS, Letter, Phone Call or email

                                      I suppose there is no such a rule, The local employees are doing such things for earning bribe and threatening customers
                                      Te MSEB officers concern with this, I request to start the inquiry and punish the culprits.
