We have craeted TAN user account However , our password is locked due to incorrect password was used at our end.

Disconnection of wrong meter (Consumer no.: 029470318030)

I purchased a shop at Kesar Garden Society, Kharghar in January 2011. The shop has been kept idle. The electricity connection of our shop was disconnected by MSEB officials owing to non-payment of bills of past five months.
I went to the MSEB office at Kharghar station, and submitted written request for restoring the connection, agreeing to pay all outstanding dues. Accordingly, I was given the latest duplicate bill.

On 20/9/2011, RP Road, Jalna, the street lights were on whole day. Its usually daily wasted. on the other hand, there is load shedding of couple hours in city and about a day in villages.
As a consumer of MSEB, I demand justification for such carelessness.

    I have shifted to CBD-belapur in the month of August, for previous two months electricity bill was pending so I have successfully paid the bill of Rs.770/- on[protected] thru online bill payments, however this month's i.e on[protected] MSEB line mens arrived at my place to cut my connection, I was at office at that time my neighbours told them I have already paid the bill then also they were relectunt to cut my line and they were giving free advice that "from now on don't pay your electricity bills online we cannot keep track of online payments, so pay your bills at our office counter." and these people want receipt of my online payment, don't they have a PC at their office, I don't understand that can't they check whether the person has paid the bill or not before cutting anybodys line.

    Why such fools are employed in MSEB, no doubt people frustrated with the harassments of MSEB and no doubt - people burn mseb office all over mumbai and maharashtra...they deserve that !!

    MSEB should treat their customer/consumer with care and consideration and never take customer for granted.

      . I kavita . k. akre a widow the mother of darshan .k. akre & kunal.k.akre wants to state you that i was residing from 25 years in pagdi system at rane chawl,k.t road ,behind government dispencery,navghar vasai,vasai road (west).
      sir/madam due to redevelopment plans on 24/02/2008 we were moved to another temporaray home as said by the owners Anil Rane & sunil rane on .
      Without any agreement we were made to move to the temporary place.
      After 2 years the new building was constructed & on 6/05/2010 they moved us back to the new building which is now my above address.
      when we returned back to our new home [vasant prabha G1,k.t road behind got disensary vasai west ] on 6/05/2010 we asked the owner for the agreement papers which he told us that he would give that agreement tommarrow.But when tommarrow came our owner came with some goons and tried us to assault & forcibly they tried me and my sons to move away from our new home.they also beat my sons badly.so on the very day when this incident happened i have lodged a complaint on 07/05/2010 against my owner Mr. Anil rane & his brother Sunil rane.
      Sir the police are not co-operating & showing any interest on my to complaint.The police are saying that its a civil case.
      Sir after when i lodged the complaint against my owners, they disconnected my water & electricity connection of my new home.Sir due to no water & electricity i re-applied for my old connections to Mahanagar palika water supplies for my water connection & MSEBCL for reconnection of my elecricity.My Water problem has been solved by Mahanager Palika but my electricity problem is still unsolved by MSEBCL.MSEBCL Staff Nitin Patil has took 3025 rupees for meter connection & rupees 2500 as bribe on 12/06/2010.Afer paying the amount for elecricity connection i did not recieve the reciept of my payment.Even after paying the connection amount & bribe my electricity connection was not done , So again on 4/03/2011 i Re- Applied through a written application to MSEBCL area incharge.But till now there is no response & action from the MSEBCL.
      Sir till now the owner Anil Rane & his brother Sunil Rane is harassing me & my sons every now and they are threatening that they will kjll my two sons.
      So Sir please help me from this matter as i am widow.Sir me & my sons can't roam freely because of the life threaten from my owner.Please i need your help in making me & my two sons live peacefully without any life threatens.
      So sir please do the needful & i would be eagerly waiting for your acknowledgement that you have recieved my complaint.

        I am very sorry to state that MSEDCL rules keep changing every now and then and the consumers have no clue about this. There is no limit to harrassment by this service provider. A visit to MSEDCL will find endless customers shedding their tears in front of the rude officials. They do not consider it important to inform consumers about these. Many Consumers find their Electric connections cut off or meters missing when they return home in the evening. There is only one answer your bill is pending and the o/s amount may be as meagre as Rs 30/-.
        Will govt look into the matter and make it a point to inform consumers vide a simple circular attached to the bill.
        What are the bylaws which authorise MSEDCL to cut off power from households?
        Really a pathetic state of affairs. India seems to have no respite from corrupt govt officials who need to be paid extra money for doing their job.

          I stay in Pune (vishrantwadi area), I did not get my electricity bill for the month of april 2011 so I waited for around 10 days and after that I went to nearest(pratik nagar) MSEB office and requested them to generate duplicate bill and I paid the amount at that day itself. (bill amount for that month was 250Rs)
          But on very next day MSEB staff came and disconnected my elecricity connection saying "Bill pending" .I was not at home at that time, I came at 6 and was shocked to see electricity cut.Immediately(around 6PM) I went to MSEB office but all staff was in hurry to go home, nobody entertained me.
          I came home, spend entire night without light and next morning again I went to MSEB office.They charged me 200 Rs to re-connect electicity wire(even it was their mistake)

            SINCE LAST 2 YEARS MY METER IS SHOWING VERY HIGH READINGS AND I AM GETTEING HIGH ENERGY BILLS OF OVER[protected] PM.
            I APPLIED FOR TESTING/REPLACEMENT OF METER IN NOV 09 BUT NO AVAIL. THIS MONTH I GOT A BILL OF 12120/- FOR ONE MONTH .WE ARE A FAMILY OF 3 WITH NO CHANGE IN NUMBER OF APPLIANCES THIS BILL IS SHOCKING. THE NORMAL BILL IN OUR AREA FOR SAME SIZE AND APPLIANCES IS APPROX 900/- PM.

            PLEASE HELP SINCE THE LOCAL OFFICE IS VERY RUDE AND UNHELPFUL

                Unscheduled Power Cut

                We just shifted in Ishwar Nagar Digha Airoli ( Mukund Company ) Navi Mumbai.

                Cluster No.12 Plot No. 2/3

                I see MSEB not Supply Power proper way unscheduled power Cut.
                And in evening power below 150 V and continue Slow / Fast.
                Last 3 day they continue disconnect power in evening @ 7 to 10 pm.
                In below 150V Fan is run very slowly. Computer is not switch on and also freeze is not cooling fast.br...

                I have an apartment at E/3/3/1, Sector18, New Panvel.
                I am working on govt deputation and posted o the Netherlands since year 1999. My family is also staying with me at Netherlands.

                The apartment is locked since year 1999 and we visit normally once in year to India and stay at apartment. Our last visit was in June 2010.

                To avoid the billing payment problems, I normally pay some money as advance before leaving to abroad each year and keep the balance about Rs 5000=00 as advance.

                Last year my advance disappeared and billed as arrears though there is no power consumption. During my last stay at Panvel, I had to go couple of times to MSEB office to sort out problem and got money back in account after lots of follow ups

                Last year, before leaving to Netherlands in JUne 2010, no outstanding bill was pending and I also paid about 5000=00 a advance which disappered in 2 installments in bills of June 2010 and Jan 2011 as arreas but there was no consumption.
                I had written to several e-mails to concerned department at [protected]@ho.mahadiscom.in, but did not got any reply. I made several telephone calls to MSEB from Netherlands but everybody was giving somebody else number and finally, I was told that i have to come in person with all papers to present problem.
                Since month of June 2011, I have been charged to the tune of Rs 1600 per month stating that my meter is faulty.

                I informed that meter is correct and reading is constant beucase there in no consumptionas apartment remained unoccupied since July 2011 but I did not got any repsonse either on telephone, e- mails and for written posted letters.

                I am forced to pay the amount otherwise MSEB will disconnect the power and will cause lot sof inconviencece to me and my family when we visit Indian in the month of October 2011.
                Or else I had to run from pillar to post to get my power connection restored.

                Please help me sort out this probelm.

                Electricity — excess charges

                i have complaint to you about the excess chgs of electricity bills from last 5 to 6 months my account number is

                This reflects an extremely poor, consumer-unfriendly picture of working of MSEDISCO. When every relevant detail is given in most clearly and elaborately in the complaint itself why should they demand personal attendance of the complainant to rectify the problem, except for obvious reasons of bribe. The main problem is that such serious complaints are mostly handled by lower level babus in the office or by the junior level officers who, unless their palms are greased do nothing but to pass on the buck from table to table, making the complainant to run from pillar to post. The matter, even if solved, reappears shortly after as what one table has done the other one does not know.
                It is strongly suggested that such matters should be dealt with in a well coordinated manner with one single officer / agency responsible for it from start to end. Consumer, (they call a highly valued customer) should not be put to such harrasment for no fault mof his.

                  I HAD SUBMITTED A MONTH BACK A WRITTEN LETTER TO THE EXECUTIVE ENGINEER - BHINGARI SUB DIV. WITH REGARD TO THE WRONG BILLING OF ELECTRICITY CHARGE TO CONSUMER NO.[protected], METER NO. [protected]. BUT TILL THIS DATE NO RESPONSE FROM THEM AND THE CURRENT BILLING RECEIVED ALSO WRONG.
                  MINE IS A ROW HOUSE AND TOOK THE POSSESSION IN JANUARY 2010 SINECE THEN NOBODY IS STAYING AND NOT EVEN A SINGLE BULB / FAN USED.

                  PLEASE HELP IN THIS REGARD

                  Myself, Surendrakumar nandalal gupta had already paid the bill of month September 2011, then also my meter is disconnected. Meter disconnection is done by MSEDCL person. I had visited in MSDCL office yesterday i.e 23/9/2011 and raised the complaint regarding this.And also submitted the xerox copy of my paid bill reciept. MSDCL Engineer Mr. Gokul Pawar told me that he will reconnect the electrical meter urgently. Today morning again visited MSDCL office for same reason, Mr. Pawar told me that meter will be reconnect till 11.30 AM. After 12.30 PM again I had visited their for same reason, Mr.Pawar repeated the same. Still Electrical supply is disconnected due to poor service of MSDCL engineer. My Electrical Consumer No. is :[protected], address is :- Room no 95A M Jain estate Village road, Bhandup (west )
                  mumbai - 400078 and meter no:[protected].

                  Can you ressolve this as early as as possible? And also can you provide any senior person name and No. who will take needful action on this? Awaiting for your favorable response

                    I am living in Satya Sai Appartment, Near Dev Residency , Shivaji Park, E ward
                    Kolhapur 416001.

                    One most of the posh business class personality residencial area of Kolhapur WITHOUT street light.

                    Since long time we were getting some higher in power supplied by MSEB, Kolhapur in Shivaji Park area,

                    Several times we complaint the higher voltage flactuation related issue over mobile phone to MSEB person who looking Shivaji Park area, Kolhapur but no body listing & resolving this issue.

                    For your information Land Line Customer complaint phone no body is picking, it is totaly Helpless Number is[protected].

                    Today, There was many TVs, Fridges, other electirical equipment has been burnt
                    Due to hight voltage supplied by MSEB Kolhapur.

                    Still Nobody Visited by MSEB Kohapur for servey after this incident.

                    Now, Finally Please suggest me how will bear this losses. When expected time to recover this losses.

                    I hope i will get fruitfull reply from your end.

                      I am Abhijeet Toradmal, Consumer No.[protected] in billing Unit 4603 and owner of the house as well as the meter connection. I have been receiving the Bill since June-07 and repaying the same on regular basis.

                      It is been 4 years now that I'm not getting the bill on my own name and it is in name of Samrat Constructions. I had requested several times to make the necessary changes however not recieved any response from MSEB Dy. Executive Engineer.

                      Please advice me what can be done

                        I am getting bill o[censored]nits consumption without any base even snapshot available on the bill... I have already approached & submitted application at HAPASAR RURAL DIVISION, CAMP in this regard.. I shocked when he told me that such type of consumtion put by contractor for getting more commission... I would like to inform that flat is newly constructed & till date it is not in use...

                          We live in Madhuban Society, Vishrantwadi area. The MSEB officials have left 2 transformers since Feb 2011 in our parking lot for replacment. They have not do it so far. Now every day due to overload the transformer blows up and we are left without power for hours. When we spoke to the technician today they told that they are unable to locate the fault are still waiting for the senior official to come up where as the issue is ongoing for a month. We have huge expense on diesel for running the generator and we are still no where. Can someone help.

                            sir,
                            I have come across running account of Asgar Ali Mirza, who has cheated Maharashtra Electricity Distributiaon Company Ltd to the tune of lakhs. The said Mr. Mirza is holding 6-7 units in building known as Ali-Manision, Opp. Krishna Dairy Farm, Anand Koliwada, Mumbra Dist Thane 400612. I could locate his Electricity Bill of Mar 2008 for Rs.59950/- same was unpaid. To my knowledge, he has never paid any Bill to the Company. It seems that said connection is closed and new connection is obtained. He is further enjoying the electric connection directly and without any electric meter in some of his units. How Maharashtra Electricity Distribution Company Ltd is permitted such misdeeds. This is encouragement to illegality. For your ready reference, i am enclosing one of his bills of Rs.65680/-. the strange fact is that meter reading is taken as faulty and that local area office of MSEDCL is not ready to hear any complain against Mr.Asgar Ali Mirza. it is understood that Mr. Asgar Ali Mirza is causing such loss to government in collusion and connivance with officers of MSEDCL of Mumbra branch.
                            This is loss to government companies. i request for investigation of the case and appropriate action against the commuters.

                              Dear Sir,

                              Sub:- Dues of Family Pension

                              I under signed Mr.Madhukar J Taide worked in Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. on Electrician Post. Family Pension No. MH/1251/21183. I have been retired one year back.

                              I have not received my above Dues yet today. many times I call on Tel No. 26470007 but no response or not proper feedback from MSED Bandra Head Office. How to I contact for my family pension which is pending from last 2 years.

                              Please do the needful & co-operate me in this matter urgently.
