I Nalini Chandresh Shah my customer id[protected] Residing at :-Jai Ganesh Vishwa Flat 426 Sno 46 Vistrantwadi Dhanori road pune411015. Last bill paid for RS 580 in the month of oct 2011after that we have not received any bills and on 17 March2012 we have received a notice from MSEB stating the electricity will be disconnected and along with a bill of Rs 2940 and the reading is not clearly showing and we have not received any bill after oct 2011 so i request the MSEB kindly take the reading on monthly basis and provide us the bill .

    Dear Sir,
    I Kishor D. Mane consumer number[protected] would like to know the explanation for my excess billing since last six months. I have notice that I am getting fix unit charges that is 264 from October 2011 till January 2011 due to faulty meter reading.
    I have paid my each electricity bill payment on time. Last January 2012 month I got bill which was RS 5180 for the same unit 264 I have made the full payment and even request for the new meter. I have made the payment for my each payment apart from that I have been asked to make the payment for the additional payment. They told me that once your new meter reading is taken then the amount which you have paid will be adjusted.
    Today I have received the bill along with the notice that if I have not paid you will cut the connection. I am unable to understand what going on with my electricity bill. I have paid RS 10910 to MSEB for last four month more than RS 2500 for a month for 264 (faulty meter)

    I hope this is mistake and faulty meter issue. I do accept that I haven’t checked my meter reading my society has many customers with the same issue. I was expecting the extra paid amount will be adjusted in this bill but this bill come with notice. Please assist me the proper way so that I can understand your billing system.

    I have visited Nedrul office to ask where i can meet the accountant Mr. Gaikwad for my billing details the person was stating next said that the "Gaikwad ka tranfer huwa hain" the office lady staff start giggling after hearing his answer. Then I come to know that the person who replied me is Mr. Gaikwad. I think they not concern for the consumer issue but they make fun o[censored]s.

      My consumer No for MSEB is[protected] and meter no is [protected]. I am single and leave for office at 7.30 in morning and electricity usage is hardly for 6 hours during night that of light and fan. Other than that no other electrical appliance i use. My bill last month was approx. Rs.250/- and current bill is Rs.8000/- which is 30-35 times higher. I am sure that usage cannot be more as I stay alone at home. I request you to sort out the matter at the earliest as I cannot afford to pay such a huge amount.

        Respected Sir,

        I am living in virar. I would like to enlighten the topic of load shedding which is happening in virar at frequent basis. The timings written on the notice board of MSEB office at virar for load shedding is as follows:

        Mon & Fri- 7.ooam to 9.30am
        3.45pm to 6.00pm
        Tue & Sat- 8.30am to 10.45am
        2.30pm to 5.00pm
        Wed & Sun- 6.00am to 8.30am
        12.15pm to 2.30pm
        everything was going according to the timetable in winter season however as the summer season has started the electricity goes off so frequently that timing are of no use. Today i.e monday 2nd april 2012, i am writing this complaint as i am fed up with the increased load shedding time which MSEB states is still the same as above menitoned timing. However the light is not there since morning 7.00 and the light presumed only at 12.00pm which is very frustating. on top they have taken out the light at afternoon 3.45 and it is supposed to come by 6.00 but still there is no sign of light. when called up MSEB they state that there is a power trip of some other problem they are rectifying. My question is how many times this power trip occures n if this is occuring so frequently then y is it that MSEB not rectifying the problem on permanent basis???? MSEB number is to be called around 15 times then you get to speak to one of the person who states that there is power trip same answer which they give everytime you call. on Saturday also there ws no light in night at 11.30 and it came in the night at 2.30. I do not think MSEB actually cares about the issue we as ppl face on daily basis. How can they not rectify the problem on permanent basis??? y is it that government is quite and not responding to whatever is happening? earlier this year the government had stated that there wont be any load shedding in virar and other areas but this is not the case.. we are still managing with the scheduled timing given by MSEB but now those timings are of no use whatsoever. Please help us!!! and give us reason about y is this happening

        I am from virar west. No electricity since 3.00pm to till its 8.30 shat the hell is happning sir
        We r facing lots of problem due to thus long time power cut.
        We understand if it was but today there is not a single drop of rain then too this long power we cant tollerate this every time sir
        We olease you to look after this bad situation
        My electricity bill is extremely high . last three month -. So please make correction .and check meter box .
        Light bill is very high as there is not any electric thing apart from fan and light.
        Last 15 Days Not Use Electricity .

          Dear Sir/Madam,

          I would like to register complaints against MSEB (Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd) for sloppy behaviour toward consumer.

          My bill was pending due to some personal reason for three months (Dec. to Feb.) and right after first intimation we cleared our dues on 16th March 2012 through VISA bill pay. Payment details are mentioned below.

          Payment Amount (Rs Ps): 2650.00
          Total Amount debited to your card (Rs Ps): 2650.00
          Payment Date: 16th March 2012
          Transaction Identification Number:[protected]

          During these 15 days electricity guys came thrice to cut our electricity supply and convey the same to them. On MSCB site also our outstanding amount is showing nil still today they cut off our power supply which is the height of the irresponsibility and sloppy behaviour towards work.
          Without any notification to us and without cross checking any records they just turn off our power today (30th march 2012).

          When I called up MSEB office (Thane, Kalwa -Kharegon) to register compliant we received vague answers like your bill is pending from last six months or there must be problem in your meter box and so on but was not ready to tell that they had cut off our electricity supply which is highly regretted.

            thats the reason, your bill will not received to me in proper time.and this impact to delay in payment. Consequently I bears the penalty unnecessoryly.

              I have bought a Flat No 302, Plot No 102, Sector -19, M/s Bilandrai Co-op Housing Society Ltd, Kharghar - 410210 and moved to live there at the end of 2011.

              The electricity meter is still in the name of Builder. I have requested him to change the meter to my name. Until now he has not taken any action.

              The Electricity Meter No is[protected] in Kharghar with code 4795.

              The Electricity meter is not working and I have informed the Helpline about the same. My enquiry No while notifying about the non-functional electricity meter is [protected].

              PLEASE CHANGE THE NON-FUNCTIONAL ELECTRICITY METER AT THE EARLIEST.

                Hi,
                My Bill for period 15-Feb-2012 to 15-Mar-2012 is attached herewith this email.
                I am not using electricity as most of the times I don’t stay at the flat. So obviously the bill should not be the one I got that is Rs. 410.
                Also you can see in the bill that there is no usage of electricity since current and previous reading is the same and it’s highlighted in red colored rectangle in the attached file.

                Please clarify whether this is the mistake by you and whether I should pay bill or you will give the corrected bill for this month?

                  I have been receiving exceptionally high billing for past couple of time.
                  On complain it was discovered the CONTRACTOR taking the meter reading does not actually take the reading and mentions the reading of anyone on to anyone's bill hence excess bill is being sent.

                  This has caused serious problems where MSEDCL authorities do not rectify the problem but disconnects supply.

                  It has been very frustrating.

                  Its for Aundh-Khadki Road,
                  Pune 411003.

                  Please let me know if the authorities are going to take some action against the Contractors for causing so much of the problems to their customer.

                        This is to inform you that after a lot of follow up , I did finally received my electricity bill for the amt of RS.13900/- but I haven’t received a single response from the concerned dept. ('[protected]@ho.mahadiscom.in') .

                        Also after receiving the bill , I requested at naigaon office (Mr. Vasudev & Mr. Rathore) to break the total amt in two instalments & immediately issued a cheque (14079 –ICICI BANK) of Rs 10000/- dated 07/03/12 which also got cleared in three days.

                        Now after 12 days i.e. on 19/03/12 , Mr. Rathore Says that you will have to pay the remaining balance by 20/03/12 i.e one day deadline otherwise penalty would be charged.

                        Also they have misplaced the receipt of the payment made of Rs 10000/- through cheque without which the Vasai Head office is not accepting the Remaining balance cheque.

                        Please let me know what is the resolution for this after such kind of harassment & rude attitude which is faced by us on a regular basis whenever we try to co-ordinate with the Naigoan Office People.

                              I came here as a resident in pune , a few months back. But I encountered very high electricity bill without that much usage of electricity. I suffered a huge amount of loss of money without any reason.... I enquired about in mseb office but didn't get any response....
                              I would like to request to check the meter for its falt and if found then an urgent replacement of the meter...
                              hope my complaint would be looked upon as early as possible..

                              1 Tube
                              1 Fan
                              1 Television - 4 hors daily
                              1 Laptop - 4 hours daily
                              1 Geyser - 1 hours daily (230 volts,2.0 kW)

                              I would also like to the know the expected electricity bill for usage of the above mentioned gadgets...!

                                  Sir, Street light in my area # MG55 not working since last seven months, lamp & top post was blown off during moonsoon the next day we compained mseb about hanging top post with lamp which was dangerious to public waking along the road, the response was positive for lamp to be taken away for repair &never came on his place till date in mean time on main road during one night four cars batterys were stolen. Now I am fed up with the department & his responsible employee name mr. garade cell# [protected] not responding. WHAT TO DO HERE TO GO?

                                  MSEB — About the streetlight light

                                  I am a resident of seawoods, we have observed that at 5 am the street lights of kokan rail vihar and other area are switched off due to which people can not walk properly because of darkness in the early morning and also the teror of dogs.So it is requested that please look in to the matter and do the needfull.
                                  And here comes the blow...instead of reaparing the light they have removed the whole pole from the ground ...because of this in dark .. 2 cars have been theft.

                                    I would like to bring your notice that there is a big mistake in my current bill for month of Jan 2012 (Consumer No:[protected], 4391 : MUMBRA S/DN.)

                                    It is 892 units amounting to Rs 7660/- I am surprised to see this bill. If you see our usage pattern you wont find any previous month with this much consumption. I am surprised to see this amount. Kindly revised the bill as accurate one.

                                      for past 14 months Mahadiscom is charging like anything. we have only CFl bulbs, Fans and TV.Other items are not there. one month Rs.2000 one month Rs.1400 like that.

                                      Almost we are getting 3 times or 4 times more bill than actual usage.Plz go into this issue

ELECTRICITY HAD BEEN STARTED FROM NOV 2010. IN THE BEGINNING FOUR MONTHS BILL AMOUNT WAS OK BUT AFTER FOURTH MONTH THE AMOUNT INCREASED AND IT SAYS THAT I USE 50 UNIT IN A MONTH. AND THE ELECTRICITY BILL ALWAYS SHOW METER STATUS FAULTY. AS NO ONE LIVE IN THE FLAT HOW THE ONE CAN USE ELECTRICITY. I HAD SEND MANY MAILS TO MAHADISCOM ABOUT THIS BUT THEY HAD NOT TAKEN ANY ACTION YET. I HAD ALSO CONTACT THROUGH PHONE BUT I DIDN'T GET ANY RESPONSE.                                         mahadiscom-electric meter — faulty meter

                                        I have lodge complaints regarding replacement of faulty meter in Aug.2008 but still no done

                                        I am a consumer of Pune, i have submitted an application of change of name to MSEDCL Wadia Division with all the required documents such as NOC, Affidavit of the previous holder of Meter, but the staff has not accepted the documents and still the meter is in the previous name, and at present the owner is no more,

                                        In addition to that the MSEDCL has charged me 33, 000 for domestic, the officers says that I have distributed the electricity to the neighbours and one of the officer (now retd) said to me that I have distributed my connection to whole MG Road, is it possible, and they were unable to find it, then I have tested the METER from the MSEDCL authorities and they have given me the report as METER IS WORKING WITHIN THE ERROR LIMIT which I did not understand, it seems that every meter is faulty and they are giving the same answer to every consumer.

                                        I dont know how the msedcl works, first of all no officers are present to address, they are busy with the contractors who pays them, and most of the officers are always in market purchasing the vegetables and fruits.

                                        I have given many applications as to explain me in details how the bill is being raised, under RTI also I have given, but they always give me the CPL COpy saying that u only study it, but they have not bothered to explain me.

                                        I have said in my letters that i use to receive the bill of 500 to 600 per month and which I have paid regularly without any default, but then too they have charged me Rs. 33, 000/- on the assurances that the same will be adjusted in the coming bills. The officers says that u have not paid the bill for long i[censored] calculate average 600 per month x 55 months = 33, 000/- it seems that I have not paid for a period of 55 months that means for 4.5 yrs I was using the electricity and till that time the MSEDCL officials were sleeping, is it possible, and if possible what the officers are doing if the electricity is theft as per their statement.

                                        I have already submitted my RTI application again to Mr. Anchan Mane, now lets see what is his opinion.
