[Resolved] Maruti Suzuki — Excess Charges, and insensitive behaviour
I had driven my vehicle UP 32 BB -5292 Eng. No. 3145765 chassis No.232698 from bareilly to haridwar on 25th june, 08 on 26th of june while going to har-ki-pauri from kankhal side, on reaching ranipur chowk i noticed smoke coming out under neath the bonnet on opening the bonned i found that the coollant is coming out and boiling. I stopped the engine and went to maruti authorised service station M/s United Auto Garage, Rishikul Haridwar -249401 Phone No.[protected] and [protected]
The owner send a mechanic ( I believe so) and on reaching the car the mechanic saw the engine under the bonnet and adviced that i have to take the vehicle to the service station and only then he will be able to tell the details, fine till now.
As soon i reached the service station i again met the owner of the mass, he seems to be the most busy man in the world.
Instead of discussing with me the problem, he seems to be going here and there and did not even bother to talk to me. I kept on running behind him. Finally after much frustration and extreme difficulty and much time, we were not made to seat and in very humid and hot and my mother aged more than 70 years was with me, i managed him and asked the problem to which he very rudely replied that the gasket cylinder head has broken down and needs repair. I asked about the estimate to which he said Rs 3500/- to Rs 4000/- when i asked him about the details he very rudely said that he does not have time for all the details in the world he also said to the mechanic very rudely that " babujee ke gaddi me pani bhar aur station ke bahar karhi kar de, hum enko detail nahi de sakte" i was shocked, taken back and stunted by his unprovocative behaviour, nevertheless i went ahead and gave him my consent for the repairs, for which he said that he will deliver vehicle 2moro, i.e 27th June 08
I came of 27 on appointed time and found the vehicle not ready, and they kept on telling me " sab kuch theek hai aur ap gaddi le jaaho" i insisted for trial to which the owner said, " hum kis kis to trial karte harenge".
I engine oil was not full, to which with great persuasion i had to tell them to fill engine oil appropriately, and so was the case with collant, god forbid had i taken the vehicle it would have been seized.
The total bill No. 004573 against job No. 0005313 was Rs 3260
Rs 577 FOR SPARES, Rs 1110 For OILS AND Rs 1573 FOR LABOUR
WHICH IS VERY HIGH AND NOT APPROPRIATE.( let me tell the details now)
I wish to know whether this amount is justified.
The paid the amount in cash and brought the vehicle at home around 3 km from the service station.
The next day morning i went to neel kanth just near the barrage about 2 km above the same problem erupted the smoke below the bonnet and collant boiling and coming out i called up[protected]the owner of the service station and told me the problem he asked few questions, i told him to send me a vehicle to bring back the car, because my vehicle is heating up, he bluntly said NO. later when i went to his service station the MOS was standing there. There after i daIled him several times but HE DID NOT RESPOND. lucky i had his mechanic Mr.Negi's Mobile No. i pleaded to him with my folded hands he great soul came to me at rishikesh and brought the vehicle to his service station. On reaching service station i complained about the same problem, which he did not listen AT ALL AND SAID THAT THE PROBLEM is radiater AND PROBLEM CAN ONLY BE SOLVED IF NEW RADIATOR IS INSTALLED. i have now brought the vehicle from the service station and show to your dealer shahkumburi 2moro.
BUT I MUST SAY THAT THIS MASS OF YOUR IS BRINGING BAD REPUTATION TO MARUTI TO WHOM I TRUST THE MOST AND CALL UPON MARUTI FOR THE REFUND OF EXCESS AMOUNT PAID BY ME AND REDRESSAL FROM THE SIDE OF MASS OWNER FOR THE MENTAL ANGUISH AND SHEER HELPLESS I AND MY MOTHER SUFFERED AND ALSO THE PHYSICAL TENSION AND LOSS OF TIME.
