I bought a high end Maurti Suzuki Swift ZXI (petrol version) vehicle on[protected]. The next day around noon the vehicle developed a technical snag i.e AC switched off, Instrument panel display lights not working, emergency lights coming when vehicle keys were removed, trunk not opening. When I called the customer service department of the dealer I was told that they would only assist if the vehicle was in a physical breakdown condition otherwise not! After much persistence & talking to the manager of the dealer showroom, a service technician called up stating since it was a saturday evening there wasn't much he could do & promised to come & diagnose the next day (sunday).

On sunday the technician came & spent an hour under the hood & finally said to take it to the dealer service center. He said there was some ECM breakdown & needed replacement, perhaps a proper PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) was not done at the dealer's end.

Finally the vehicle went to the service center. Upon enquiring with the regional office of Maruti, Kolkata as to how come a brand new vehicle was found to be in defective condition-they simply didn't have an answer & have brushed it off by saying-its a car such things happen.

That means an ECM, which according to there technical sources, is suppose to be the heart of the car can possible FAIL withing 24 hours of sale. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!!!

I am shocked at this sort o[censored]nprofessional approach by a company of Maruti Suzuki's stature. They simply dont have any explaination or are not wanting to even compensate for such an expensive vehicle. They just want the customer to make the sale but look the other way while offering services.

    Hi,

    This is Deep Mohan Goel; I have gone through with some big problem & mental harassments, just because I have purchased a car from MARUTI UDYOG.

    Here are the details:

    I have purchased a used car from "RAJ SNEAH" (True Value Division) Meerut, on 02nd September, 2008 by giving them a cheque of One Lack (Dated: 02/09/2008) as a booking amount, Car number was UP 15 AE 1039 (November 2007 model).

    On the 14th Sept., 2008, Mr. Vineet (Manager) told me that they will not be able to deliver the car as the owner of that car is not ready to sell that car.

    Point 1st: If they were not the owner of this car, why they have taken the advance from me & kept for 12 days on that car.

    After that, Mr. Ajay Bhardwaj (Manager) has accepted there fault & offered me to buy a new car; however they have not given me any kind of compensation for there mistake & I had to pay Rs. 65, 000/- extra because that used car was as good as new. And as per the circumstances, I have agreed to buy a new car

    On the 14th September, 2008, I bought a new car & I have told them that I have a PRE APPROVED car loan for 5.35 Lacks through HDFC Bank; I can let them have the approval within two working days.

    (For a new car, I have paid them the difference except One Lack, on which I was looking for a loan.)

    They told me to take a loan from ICICI Bank, Meerut, through there agent, I said okay on that. They have taken around twenty days to get that loan approved without any fault from my side. And that’s after, when I have told them that I had an approval from HDFC Bank, the next day they have told me that the loan from ICICI has been approved.

    (Just because of all this, I had to travel in buses, where I suffered a lot, as I have DUST ALLERGY. Other then this I have given them around 100 of calls & that cost me something)

    After that, I had a word with. Mr. Pradeep Sharma (Sales Dept.) and I have requested him for a specific registration number (4212), which is not a VIP number. He assured me about that & promised me to get that number for my car, for which they charged me Rs10, 000/- where as the registration fee for an ALTO car in UP is Rs 8, 200/-.

    (I was interested in that number because I have the same number on my other vehicles & I have informed them the same as well)

    On the 08th October, 2008, I called him & he said that again by mistake he lost that number as well. He suggested me to wait for next 6 months to get that number in next series or to choose any other number as I don’t have anything else to do. He spoiled my efforts to maintain the series of that number.

    Now, I would like to tell you, that it’s been 10 years I am using your cars, I trust Maruti cars like anything, but now all this hurts me a lot because this is not a way to fool around the people.

    I have all the legal proofs & document for all above, & I am planning to go to the Consumer’s Court

      Hi,

      I am Brajendra and writing here after getting frustrated from Maruti and its dealer. I had booked Swift VDI ABS more than 4 months back through Apra motors JMD plaza. At the time of booking, they had commited that car will be delived in June month end but the fact is that, I have not got the car as yet. Each time I call Apra, they just say that they are not sure when the car will be issued from Maruti. Now I am very tired chasing them and still not sure when the car will be delivered.

      I also wrote to Maruti about it and they initially wrote back to me with ref no "HT20080717_[protected]" saying that they will call me soon but no call/update from Maruti. Its very unfortunate that Maruti being the largest car manufacturer in India provides such a bad quality to customers.

      We had booked maruti dezire at your authorised distributor MS BER KELEY AUTO CHANDIGARH. the booking no. is 692 dated 25 april 2008.When we booked the car berkley told us the car will we deliver within 3 to 4 months but they are not giving us delivery even after 6 months of booking date and they are pressurizing us for paying premium amount of rupees 40, 000 to rupees 50.000.
      We request you to look into the matter seriously and arrange for early delivery of car.

I was assured to deliver car by 3-4 months but till the date D D motors not providing me the same. Mr.Puneet Salooja, DGM-sales&Finance(wazirpur) specially discouraging me .Iam very tired chasing DDMotors but all efforts are being vain. CAN YOU HELP ME? PARMANAND ARYA

        This is to bring to your notice the notorious ways with which the Maruti Authorised service center- M/S Car Care, BT Road, Kolkata has cheated me.

        I gave my car to the service centre with Rattling Sound complain. The job was taken up by them on 21 Jun 08 and my car was returned to me on 25 Jun 08 with a bill of 31000/- (Invoice no. 071694 dt 25 Jun 08). the bill comprised of endless list of nut, bolts, fuse etc., which needed no replacement.

        To add more - the actual fault was not rectified and the folowing additional problems were delivered with the car.
        1. A/C was made unserviceable
        2. Door light made unserviceable
        3. Floor Mats are missing

        It is really unfortunate that the dealership has been bestowed to such irresponsible goons who are out there to rob the people and thereby bringing bad name to the company.

        May I request you to look into the matter and fix the service center. Suitable action against the service cnetere will be a great help to the people in general who goes to authorised service centers with faith. The case needs an urgent detailed investigation.

        Kindly look if I could be refunded with the amount, as deemed fit, which has been robbed by your service center.

        Note - Before giving my car to service center I got it checked with the local mechanic and he can give it in writing that all those items (charged in bill) needed no replacement at all.

        Sir,
        I send my Maruti Alto Lxi to regent Meerut Road U.P. on 9th Oct.2008 they said Serveior is not avalable and car was returned. Now nxt day I send my car again i.e. on 10th Oct.08 there was some editing to be done and same was submitted same day.after that I was told that I will get my car after 4 days i.e. on 14 th Oct. When I called them I got an answer tomorrow you will gewt it i.e. on 15th Oct. When I called them I got an answer that tomorrow You will get it i.e. 16th Oct.08. When I called them Againg on 16th I got an answer that tomorrow you will get it.
        I wish to inform you that I never received call from them for the real status. Inspite of that the people over there did not disclosed their identity and misbehavied with me and bank the phone down.

        I still do not know the real status from them.

        This is in regrads of MAruti A-Star I bought the car on 28 nov 2008 and since then my car is not working fine. There is lots of issues and manufacturing defects coming the car as if dealer has sold one of the defective car to me.Issues coming with the car is that there is starting problem coming, power streeing is not that smoot and it uis giving sounds .
        there is vibration in the engine which could be felt while sitting in the car.
        was there any action from maruti for your request. even I had the similar problem.
        dont buy AUTOCOP car security systems iam victim of recently by pucrahsing there systems on my NEW RITZ car, there custmor care very rude and frustrating, Iam facing issue from last 6 months and they never gave me right solutions .
        my car maruti sx4 hr 51 x 0605 is full of rust.it started in very first year.and i even got it painted from maruti vipul motor. now its the third year and car is full of rust.each and every part is rusty. and maruti says car out of warrenty. theydont entertain me.
        i want to tell you dude its manufacturing defect and not my problem. kaunsi car ko zang lagta hai bhala.

        Top gear Maruti authorised service center has over all cheated on us- ( Thane) Maharastra

        I have a Maruti esteem and have given for repair and the Bill came upto 45000, i have given in the moth of May and till date the car visti to the service center every week, I have been agin given a bill of 6000, and, again of 5400, When later i was questioned that why is wrong with the car, I was been abused By the owner, I have gone through a mental harrasment.


        It is really unfortunate that the dealership has been bestowed to such irresponsible goons who are out there to rob the people and thereby bringing bad name to the company.

        May I request you to look into the matter and fix the service center. Suitable action against the service cnetere will be a great help to the people in general who goes to authorised service centers with faith. The case needs an urgent detailed investigation.

        this is brought to your notice that today i went to machino techno sales ltd 21/1a/2, darga road for the servicing of my car after an appointment with mr sanjay mitra, when i went threre, the gatekeeper asked me have any appointment i replied yes the gate keeper asked bring that person who given your appoinment i told him it is not my buisiness you confirm whether it it is true or not then suddenly the gatekeeper snatched the key of my car and pushed me out of the gate i was became surprised for this type of notorious act. the the manager came and told me take out your car without listening me any word. so the bitter exprience in my life and i request to the maruti authority for withdraw their service centre from this type of hooligans
        I had The most disastrous customer service is done by popular cars, where I gave my car for servicing yesterday ie 3 Jan 2012.
        They are minting money under brand Maruti on the most poorest service offered and under. Thier workers are low paid or they are un professionals or learners.

        Request all Indians if you are buying Maruti Cars, Cars are good but re think and check your servicing in front of your eyes. Get it done in front of you, even if they insist to go and come back in evening, believe that they are fooling us. Even though you waste a day, you are doing good thing for your Car.

        Do not get serve from Popular Cars Service Center especially Elamkkara, Cochin, Kerala.
        I think Maruti has distributed their Authorised service station dealership for the sake of making more money and marking their presence as far and wide as they can to crate the impression of being easy to maintain car and Giving it and INDIAN FEEL

        TOP gear Maruti's authorised service station at Kaserwadvali, Ghodbunder road, thane is the classic case of one of such service station.

        Gave my car for suspension problem and for general servicing in the month of October, and come January, my Engine started to make terrible noise and was just a kilometer away from seiseing. On top of it, the way garage owner talks as if the car owner is an and doesn't know a jack about driving a car or owning it.

        After this experience i have made up my mind to never go to any Maruti authorised station and my next car is NOT the MARUTI car, which is due in next 6 months.

        I am going to talk to people about it and will spread the word as much around to avoid Maruti authorised service stations. Will also take up various social media's to mention these ill practices of Maruti.

        Maruti really need to get their act together if they need to survive in this cut throat competition.

          Dear Sir,

          I write to you finally after debating for nearly three weeks now, after an experience (related to your product), which has left me confounded and conviction of a behavior, which with a strange finality in attitude seems to loudly proclaim - ‘we are like that only…’


          My first car was a fiat from which I switched over to a Maruti 800 in 2002, when my experience of the purchase of the car was smooth and quick. Six years later i.e. in July 2008 when I decided to go in for a new car, my first and only choice was another Maruti. On 20th July, based on an advertisement, we (my husband and I) contacted your dealer in Kolkata – Auto Hi Tech Pvt.Ltd, to enquire about the options and the exchange offer on Alto. Our call was handled by one of the service personnel, Ranabir Bose.

          The initial response was quick and courteous - the salesperson had inspected our car and wanted us to bring it to the showroom for valuation. On 20th July, we visited Auto Hi Tech Pvt Ltd, 97A Dr Meghnad Saha Sarani, Kolkata 29 and satisfied with the price and the offer, we left our ‘dear’ old car and a booking amount of Rs. 10, 000/- (receipt no. 21445 dated 20.7.08, for an Alto Lxi, which incidentally was enchased within 2 days.. The salespersons handling our sales are Souvik Roy and Mr, Debjit Nag.


          Today in 17th August, we are still waiting to drive the Silky Silver Alto! Our experience has been one – an ‘Indian’ ( or is it ‘Kolkatan?) experience and has left me asking if my faith on customer service and Indian values is a myth – doubts about my pride in being Indian who carries and displays deep-set values of respect for time, commitment and value of words.

          The attitude of the dealers is one of ‘not being bothered’ at all. My mobile bill for calls to Auto hi tech and its personnel is 34 calls, 11 trips to the bank and series of disappointments, frustration, amazement, anger and finally discovering a new meaning of ‘tolerance, restraint and forbearance’.

          We were informed that two conditions would ensure Quick delivery of the car within 3 days. Down payment and payment made through Demand Draft. We got into action to pull together the requisite amount through several sources started. On our request, we received in writing details about the break up of payment etc. On 24th July a mail was received from [protected]@authohitech giving details of the D/D to be made (see attachment) We got the D/D ready on 2nd August and now excited at the prospect of driving a new car soon.

          On 4th August, we visited the showroom to take sign the formalities and ‘take delivery of our car. We were informed that due to an error (on part of Auto Hi Tech) the D/D for insurance had to be cancelled and we need to arrange for fresh D/D as the name was incomplete in the mail sent by Auto Hi Tech (instead of National Insurance – it had to be National Insurance Co. Limited!). They also informed that registration and few other formalities would take one more day. On 5th, I sought permission from my workplace and visited my bank to cancel the D/D, which was a long drawn process. A cheque was issued in its place.

          Strangely after this, communication with your agents became difficult: calls were not answered or it was non-committal or animated assurances. Two days later, we were informed that the two other D/D were also ‘wrong’ and had to be cancelled and re-made.
          Auto Hi Tech had sent a mail with incomplete details.

          Incidentally, last month has been one of the busiest for both o[censored]s at workplace. Inspite of this, I made several calls to my banker to enquire about the formalities for cancellation and reissue. It was long drawn and would require my physical presence for many hours. By now our patience was truly at test. Next day, on asking the sales person to return the D/D, we were told that they had ‘managed’ to deposit and encash the D/D. (Note that every time, it was ‘we’ who had to made calls to follow up and check about the deliver).

          On 8th August, evening the car was delivered to us late evening – but without any accessories and without the Insurance papers! No booklet or service papers have been given till date. We also got a call from the Insurance office, warning us that if we attempted to drive the car, it would be at our risk! About the accessories, the sales person denied that it was part the deal and then on checking with his senior and when we showed him the paper in writing, the stance was changed. We were assured that accessories would be delivered the next day along with the Insurance papers. Silence followed after this!

          Again follow up, frustrated calls and now we were told that no one from the dealer could come with the accessories and we will have to take the car to the show room for accessories. The showroom was closed for 15 August and on 16th August – lot of people were on ‘leave’ and hence there was “no one in the showroom” to attend to us!! Today is Sunday – accessories department is not operational we are told!!

          The wait is continuing – I am learning to handle the calls from customer care where a sweet voice asks me: Madam, you have purchased an Alto – how is the car performing – how is experience??!! I am learning answer such calls with patience!

          Sir - this is a wake up call, being sent after a long wait and hoping for your response!

            Maine 15/09/2008 ko ONE UP MOTORS INDIA PVT.LTD.(LUCKNOW )se Zen Estilo Mohit Dwivedi (sales executive) ke zariye khreda tha us din se aaj (07/10/2008) tak mera ragistretion nahi ho paya hai.main kai bar iski wajah malum karne ke liye phone kiya to mohit ne mera phone uthya hi nahi aur agar show room per kisi ne mera phone utha bhi liya to kisi ne bhi mujhe iska sahi karan batane ki zahmat nahi kiya.main bahut pareshan ho kar iski complane kar raha hun.asha hai aap ke zariya meri pareshani ka hal ho jayga.

            shikayat karna easy hai.
            crime to tumne kiya hai itne dino tak bina registration ki gadi chala kar.

              My name is HETAL ASHISH CHANDAN I have booked a Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire VDI on 5 APRIL 2008 with payment of 50, 000 Rs. AUTOMOTIVE MFG PVT LTD NASIK and my loan is also passed. I have been promised that, I will get the delivery within 40 days, now it Since last 1 month the dealer is keep on changing the dates of delivery day by day and now he is saying that I have to wait for about 2 and half months more b’cos of company is not given the car. Can you able to give that car within a week otherwise I’m going to Hyundai Verna or Indica CS. And if you going to cancel my booking please back my amount with 12% interest.sales exc VANDANA SHARMA AND SAMEER PATIL now i call them they dont reply this for what u book car.they say i can cancell booking.
              Hope you take a necessary action and replying me.

              AUTOMOTIVE MFG PVT LTD NASIK — NON DELIVERY OF SWIFT DEZIRE VDI

              I am joginder singh saini and writing here after getting frustrated from Maruti and its dealer. I had booked Swift VDI more than 6 months back through ms berkeley and modren auto in chandigarh At the time of booking, they had commited that car will be delived in july month end but the fact is that, I have not got the car as yet. Each time I call berkeley and modren auto, they just say that they are not sure when the car will be issued from Maruti. Now I am very tired chasing them and still not sure when the car will be delivered but they are asking for premium rupees for40, 000 to rupees 50, 000.what to do now .

                Hello Sir,
                I have taken new vehicle delivery from ABT maruti on 3/09/2008 ... At the time of delivery the AC was not working, when i resisted for taking the delivery they promised me to take the vehicle from home very next day and rectify it...As said they have rectified my AC issue very next da...

                On 20 th of september while washing my car i found my winshield panel broken and being taped ...Immedietly i called my car sales person... He apolagise me for selling the defective car and said he will take the vehicle and replace the damaged part...
                As promised he replaced the part...

                But my worry is if they have hidden an such an external part with black tape, how about engine..which i don have any visiblity or knowledge...

                When i asked for an explanation letter, they have given me a letter as if all the mistakes have happened from my end and as if they did all the repair by " benefit of doubt to the customer"


                Requesting you to kindly help me to get a letter stating all the manufacturing defect i had at the time of delivery..

                  I have recently purchased a SWIFT DZIRE - VDI version from Mandovi Motors Pvt ltd Bangalore. The feature list published in their brochure mentioned that all variants have green tinted glass windows.

                  The VDI version delivered to me did not have any tinted glass windows.

                  Can anyone help advice on the right course of action so that I could get this addressed.

                  I also checked Maruti Suzuki website for the features published and it continues to list this as a standard feature for all variants. Please see the link http://www.marutidzire.com/specifications-detail.asp

                  Any help will be highly appreciated.

                  Really, Even I saw those specifications. I was searching for rule for tinted glass, so I came across your complaint. Did you tell your dealer that you need tinted glass. May be that is an extra feature.

                    I recently purchased a SWIFT DZIRE - VDI version in Bangalore. Booking was done in March 08 and delivery was done in Aug 2008. I was going through the feature list mentioned in the brochure. It is mentioned that all variants have green tinted glass windows. Mine did not have any tinted windows and were plain glass.

                    Did any one receive a Swift Dzire with tinted windows as a standard feature ? The brochure published on the website still shows this as a standard feature. Check this link.http://www.marutidzire.com/specifications-detail.asp

                    I am planning to take this up with the dealer and Maruti, but I do not hope to receive any response forget compensation.

                        i am having maruti car sx4 purchased in nov.20076 from kriy shna auto sales jodhpur rajasthan india. Company send a gift voucher which was handed over to one mr. keshav company employee way back the voucher is not honoured yet. then why the company is issuing the same?

                        i had booked Maruti Swift(VDI) in Jan 12th '09 from Berkeley automobile Chandigarh, But since then i had contact them for number of times, but there is no response form ther side regarding the delevary of my vehecial, whwnever i ask for the delevary of vehical they give me the time for next 15 days. I had pruchased a Swift-Vdi 0n 20/11/2009 from a dealer named Bimal Auto Agency, Adabari,Guwahati, Assam.On the very first day I am having this front windscreen niose problem.During this 6 month aftersale period i had visited the above mentioned dealer 3-4 times and tried to fix the thing but till now that could not be solved.As my profession and as I am a Govt. of India employee I am not so much free to check out the dealer very frequently. I am writting u asking for a paramanent solution.I had send email to the manager of Maruti India but no response till now.What should I do or should approach consumer court for my grieviences.Advice me plz........

                          Re: Non availability of spare- M/S Kiran Motors Pt. Ltd Surat

                          I had purchased Zen Estilo on 15/10/2007 from M/S Kiran Motors Pt. Ltd. Surat.
                          On 10 th instant the headlight was not found functioning.
                          So on 11/07/2008 I went to the workshop of the above dealer.
                          It was found that the switch in the steering wheel assembly was not functioning and needed replacement.( spare no-37400 M 67 K 50 as advised to me by the workshop )
                          I was told by the Manager of the workshop that they did not have spare
                          No: 37400 M 67 K 50 .I was informed that it would take a week ( ? ) to get the spare from the factory.
                          So, for a week I shall be compelled to drive my car without the headlight, which is very dangerous.
                          I had stayed overseas during my job for a long time and had an excellent experience of the customer service.
                          When Maruti claims it to be an international company is it the type of service I face from its dealer?
                          Firstly, the dealer should have spare on hand, except the odd ones.
                          Secondly, if the dealer does not have the spare can it not be sent by air when Surat has daily flight from N. Delhi ?
                          Perhaps it is the question of customer sensitivity that plays the key role.
                          I am approaching you with a view to get my problem solved in a matter of ½ days so that I can use my vehicle safely.

                              this is in reference to the service which i got done from orbit motors rourkela.i am a regular customer of orbit motors.maruti is known to be one of the reputed company but now time has changed.maruti is now cheating and doing fraud to their customers through false advertisement.there was a problem in my circumture and i had given for servic ing but inspite of waranty period they charged money against that and told to return after 2 month.but they r not giving the money back.after making contineous complaint, i am not ab le to get favorable responce.hence u r kindly requested to plz look into the matter and refund my money at the earliest.

                              I am interested in buying a swift vdi but now my interest is dying down.
                              I am very unhappy and put off by the response from the maruti dealer at pathankot.
                              I am purchasing maruti swift through canteen stores department through PATHANKOT VEHICLEADES PVT.LTD. I took a vehicle loan. As a rule the D.D was to be made in favour of the canteen stores department, i was told to do the same. i applied for the loan but as soon as i despatched the application i was told to get the D.D made in favour of the dealer(pathankot vehicleades), which caused problem to me. i did that and got the D.D made in favour of the dealer (which is not supposed to be done, D.D is always made in favour of the canteen stores department). Then i was told to deposite the whole amount to book the vehicle(swift vdi).I got it booked it on 13th july and was assured that i will get my vehicle in 40-45 days. Since then i am regularly calling the sales managers to know the status of my vehicle but no attempt has been made by them to tell me the status and when i cal them up they say that the will let me know and then they forget to cal up. I am running behind them. The full amount of the vehicle is in a HDFC bank of the dealer and i dont knw what will be done with the interest of that amount? will it be given back to me as it has been earned on my money. Since i am a defence personal i dont have time to keep running for a vehicle which i am paying for.The Maruti company is not doing any favour to me. I am under a great mental stress and i cannot concentrate on my job which is very demanding. I hope that Maruti company as a well recognised, famous and established organisation should look-in to this matter. Ihope for a feed back on this issue as soon as possible.

                              kunjgali, chowk and same is serviced regurlarly at m/s agr automobiles (P) ltd. b-38/2-a,
                              mehmoorganj, varanasi

                              from starting vehicle is giving trouble due to varanasi faults.

                              1st of all within 3 months reverse gear was not for changing properly and the same part was
                              not available at your both service centres at varanasi and we have to stopped our car for
                              seven days.

                              2nd there is major fault in front glass in rainy season drops of water are falling inside
                              to driving side and we had shown it to m/s agr automobiles they ready to change same on cost
                              approximate 4000 to 4500.

                              3rd 10 day back here was heavy rain and due to water storge on road car is not taking self
                              start and due to m/s agr automobiles (P) ltd. the part shaft assy gear part no 31344 m 86j00
                              will be changed but it not available one your both service centres (as per them they change
                              on cost when it will be available).

                              we are loosing our business from 10 days our business is as comission agents for textiles
                              & it depends on customer service.

                              all faults are within oone year please look into the matter & do possible at your earliest
                              possible.

                              dear sir, I bought swift in June 2005 vxi no-DL2CAC 8696, from competent automobile -till date its total running milage is just 37000km, -last yr in december 07, i found some scratches on car- i asked said automobile co- they suggest me to take insurance and we will paint whatever and scratches will be remove, i agreed and they did the job, I told them that the job you have done is not so perfect- but ok- they said i[censored] found any problem then pl bring car back we will do, in aug 08 i found little paint out on left doors- i made a complaint they said bring the car- but i took the car in oct 08. they checked and found there is rust came out on doors, they suggest me that we will talk to the maruti' co enginner for this defect- now after lot of calls they are not listening- again they are saying we r trying to petchup with co's rep, it is not fair sir, why my problem is not solving- early action will help me to take positive attitude for the co. and will stop me to take any legal step . early positive action in this regards shall be highly appreciated.

                              I have paid the booking amount to a maruti dealer for Maruti Swift VXi in april mid. I was promised the delivery of the vehicle by mid may.

                              June has started, and I don't even have the engine no. allocated to me.

                              The dealer, manager keeps telling me that maruti is not supplying vehicles at all. I find it really hard to beleive. I have a feeling that the dealer having already received my booking amount is now selling the car on premium to other customers.

                              I do hope its not true but that will mean, maruti is behind schedule by 1.5 months and not sent a car to this dealer in 1.5 months for a order from Apr mid.

                              I own a Maruti Swift VXI -DL2CAK3411-petrol, bought from Competent Motors, Lajpat Nagar on name of my firm M/S Ply Samrat India PVT LTD, just four months back. On 27th July ’09 when it was raining heavily in the city, I was driving my swift and water entered into the base of car making the floor carpets wet, flooding till my calves. The problem was shown to Maruti Sevice Master on 28.07.09 and they took the car for three days to dry the carpet charging me Rs.1103/- as per the Job Card Retail Invoice No.BR09009046, SA Name- Praveen K Sinha . The car was delivered to me on 30.07.09; the floor was dried but the reason behind water entering the floor of the car is still a mystery. There have been many times when me and my friends have driven other cars like Maruti 800, Maruti Alto, Tata Indica, Ford Fusion etc in the rainy season but such kind of an incident has never taken place. The cars are so well sealed, how the outside water can enter inside the car, cars can sink in the water not allowing water to flow inside experienced by many people I know then how could it happen to Maruti SWIFT. This seems to me as a manufacturing defect, Service station charging us for the same is unfair in the period of warranty. Maruti owes an explanation to me.

                              I had faced with a problem while refuelling my Diesel Dzire on 16th September 2009. The Gas Station had refuelled with Petrol instead of Diesel. Had called up Maruti On Road Service and lodged a service booking. After another Call against my Complaint no. WB06A8265 I received a call from a mechanic from Dewars Garage (he claimed over phone) who said I will need to torche the Car to their Service Center next day morning to get the Car serviced. He said he do not have any remedy for me on road service and he wont be able to arrange torching too.
                              It is quite obvious that On Road Service provided by Maruti Suzuki in India seems to be farce and far from reality.

                              I booked a swift on Wk 1 Dec'09 from marketing times savitri cinema GK2...The Sales guy Vishal asked me for 10 thousand bucks and said u'll get ur car on 14th Jan... since then he never called and I have to follow for my car. At the time off booking he said he can't gimme discount but he can offers me the Seat cover along with foot mat for which i agreed. Last week he called and said sir u can come & collect ur car on 14th Jan'10. Today on 13th morning when i called him to ask buddy at what time can i come then he denied that we don't have car as off... and we will give u car as per the new prices and no complimentary gift should be offfered...It was my third maruti Car ...but after this shock from the guy, His AM ANUJ and their MD POOJA .. it was shocking for me ... even now they refused to return my booking amount... Please look into this... for other people ... because i broke my relations with maruti and switch to Hyundai ...

                              i had bought a car from maruti fair deal on 27th of oct2010, which they had shown in there records that had been already soldf on 24/08/2010 to some neelam sharma. after talking to the fair deal people 20 days back the said that they vll tectify it with in 2 days which had not been done till date.i had a word with rishi/pooja those who are working there they keep on saying it will be done within in few days, however nothing gets changed now coz of dis my extended warranty time has been also lappsed.i thaught that maruti is known to be one of the reputed company but now time has changed.maruti is now cheating and doing fraud to their customers by giving the hi wi ans. i make sure that in future i would not suggest anyone to buy maruti car in future.
                              this dealer fair deal is located in shahdra near to petrol pump.
                              i wish i could had listem my parents wjen they were forcing me to buy the mahindra car whose showroom is just prior to this maruti fair deal showroom.

                                I have purchased maruti suzuki swift(vxi) on 06/11/2006 with registration no.DL 2CP 6148. My cars a/c is not working propely.I have coplained about it several times in competent automobiles(ghazipur)new delhi but still nothing seems on.last time when i visited their they have checked my car's a/c and even changed some part related to my cars a/c.It was working nice for somedays but after sometime i faced the similar problem again.Two months back i visited pandit automobiles(authorised service centre)in sahibabad ghaziabad u.p for similar thing they have serviced my cars a/c and have charged 1800 rs approx at that time and after two months i am facing that problerm again.temprature outside is increasing day by day and i need my problerm to be erased(permanently) or i'll be forced to take some legal actions against maruti suzuki.Hope maruti suzuki is going to help me soon.

                                  I am DSA of Magma Fincorp Ltd., The Capital Investment & Finance (Finance Provider). Our total average business per month is approx 60-70 Laks which includes Maruti segment of approx 25-30 lacks.

                                  We are also No.1 business provider DSA in Alwar & Bharatpur Location and are in top three in Rajasthan in Carta segment.One of Your Dealer M/s T.M. Motors in Bharatpur, which deals in Maruti products for Bharatpur Location is creating problems to us. Although They are also a Dealer DSA of Magma Fincorp Ltd.

                                  We are working in Alwar, Bharatpur and Karauli, but we are facing problem to get Maruti business in Bhartpur distt. as their dealer of Maruti is T.M. Motors and he refuse to give cars to customers who came through us..

                                  After subsequent meetings with him regarding this problem he gives us two ways from which he can give the vehicle to our customers also as:
                                  1. Either We will pay him full payment of asset before Delivery.

                                  OR

                                  2. We will pay him 2 % Finance payout per asset delivered by there.

                                  Now please clear us that how can these unjustified wishes can be fulfilled. This attitude is creating problem to get business in Bharatpur. We have to make extra efforts to diverting customers to Santro, Spark etc. We are regularly diverting customers to other vehicles.

                                    Dear Sir

                                    I would like to give feedback of the ‘surprise fault ‘ in my new car (ZEN ESTILO PB04A0816) which occurred in the 9th month of the purchase. This is not a complaint but a feedback as they have rectified the fault. Let me explain the detail.

                                    For the last 15-20days, I started feeling a sort of ‘missing’ during the driving time in my car whenever I shift from 2nd to 3rd gear and then after as I approach to 4th gear, it runs smooth. I observed it carefully & noticed whether it is my driving inaccuracy or something else and even consulted my friends having good driving experience. Finally I went to service station (13.05.08) where they checked and surprised me by saying that “a spring is missing inside the engine and as a result car was operating on two pistons only”. This made me surprised & bit confused as how it is possible of a missing component inside the closed chamber. My car is still under the warranty period and I never got it checked outside, even my 3rd service is round the corner.

                                    Now why this happened ? Was it manufacturer fault? This seems to be least possible as it might come out after lot of quality check-up or it happened during my 2nd service due to’ working hand’ o[censored]ntrained technician.

                                    Further, at the service station, their technicians had almost obliged me for no reason by saying that they have saved my Rs2000/- by replacing a missing spring, otherwise I have to pay for complete component if got replaced. I don’t know how to check the authenticity of the workers? Inside the workshop, it is all upon them & we remain on the receiving side.

                                    To the end, it is still hanging I my mind as how a component like spring which is accurately fitted inside closed chamber, be disappeared. If it so happen, then anything can happen without touching a component in the running car in future. Do you know, I selected the car only because it is under the belt of ‘MARUTI having grand reputation.

                                    I buy one car on 7th june 2008. 29th june 2008 cletch box completly burn. I using the another car from 2000 may. For that no any complaints. But this new car get suddently burn the cletch box. I not like this car and I suggesting for maruti company take back my car immediatly with any coast deduction.

                                    I had purchased a Maruti Wagon - R ( Vxi ) From M/S Pandit Automobiles (P) Ltd, Yamunanagar, Haryana on dated:- 07.11.07.There was a GEAR SHIFTING PROBLEM from begining but dealer representative asked me that problem solved after few days. Now ONE YEAR was going on completing but problem is still there.M/S Pandit Automobiles attended same problem on every service even they changed LOW SPEED HOB SET WITH RINGS ( No.[protected] ) on dated 03.09.08 but in vain.

                                    Now main thing is that MY CAR WARRENTY IS EXPIRED ON 07.011.08 and gear shifting problem is still there.Their careless attitude gave me negative effect about your company.I am a serviceman I have not so much time to go at dealer for service.

                                    Pl looks into this matter & solves my problem as early as possible.

                                    i am having zenestilo LX model.i purcahsed on 17 jan 2007.the car was very good and i had purchased it because it is in my budget and previosly i have maruti van...wich is very good model of your compnay..but now i am facing a prolem in starring.when mei jab carr modhta hu...its became very hard..it is very diifult situation and i afce many problems.i told this problem to my dealer(Rohan motors(Sarita Vihar-new delhi).

                                    but i havnt got any reply from their side..
                                    please solve my problem as sson as possible.please reply

                                      I have a suzuki baleno and it is two year old and unfortunately i meet with an accident head on a one way street and got it repaired at dealer point in Pune, the car has problem with power steering and also the windscreen replaced had scracth and a small crack. The dealer had promised me to replace it whenever it is convienet for me to send it to the work shop as it will takeatleast twothree days todoso.now the small crack developed in to a large one and when i send the vehicle for servicing and as well as for replacement of windscreen and power steering they somehow managed to remove the scracth on the wind screen and now refuses to change the wind screen and the crack have now is quite large and visible and the service advisor claims that it will grow larger with the vibration and i am at loss that i have to pay a bigger price for trusting them, had i put my foot down and asked for a replacement there and then may things would have different and i registerd the complaint with the call centre on 13th of sept which happened to be saturday and i was told that the pune branch will get in touch with methe next working day which they did not do so and when i reached them on 22nd sept, 2008 the so called terrioty manager tells me THEY NEED TO CHECK THIS MATTER WITH THE DEALER AND "IT ISNOT NECESSARY THAT CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT" and this baffled me since i am also into business and i always felt that customer is god and they are always right and i must always satisfy my cutomer at any given time" . Anyways i am the loser at the end of the day and i am sure that my profound belief that more the bigger name and brand you tend to develop a secured feeling that no one can harm you in any way and corporate policy and sologans they put up on shop floor and service point is just words and do not mean anything
