Hello All,

I request you PLEASE READ THROUGH THE END OF THE MAIL.

Let me introduce myself as Nishant Khanduri. Apart from working as a Senior Manager – HR in the Telecom industry, I have also been working as an advocate of Maruti Suzuki products and have been using them since years.

But what I get in return is harassment from Maruti Suzuki Service Centres. Here I am specifically referring to Competent Motors – Mehrauli.

While I am a Proud Owner of a brand new Swift DeZire (DL2CAK 7299) which I bought on the 31st of August 2009 through Competent Motors – Dwarka (Mr. Nishant Sirohi), I am also saddened, disappointed, disgruntled & very very Angry on the way Competent Mehrauli has taken me for a ride throughout the day today.

Below is a snapshot of the ordeal I have been through which I would like to bring to your notice. I am hopeful that you will take some action to help me out and rebuild my trust & faith in Maruti Suzuki.

- Ever since I bought the DeZire, I have been facing the problem of my Brand New Car getting pulled to the left side while driving. Irrespective of the speed limit. Also I have been facing the problem of the Hood of the car not getting locked properly & requiring a very heavy push to close it.
- I took it for the first service and complained about it. (JC No. JC09014280, JC Date: 16/09/2009, Mileage: 986)
o Attended by a person called Mr. Satish. Who attended me very very positively & professionally. I am Thankful that Maruti has employees like him. He also suggested me to get the Teflon & Anti Rust coating done which I did.
o However, he wasn’t unfortunately the supervisor of my car. It was a guy called Mr. Suprabhat Behera. I had informed him of the problem which I faced. While he was also pretty responsive to my queries and attended me well, unfortunately he didn’t do or couldn’t get done the right thing for me i.e. to take care of the left pull problem.
 He got the tyre pressure checked.
 He got the tyres interchanged and
 He also got the alignment done.
o I took the delivery of my car and went. Next day morning I started using my car and starting facing the problem of ‘left pull’ on & off.
o I didn’t have time to again visit the service centre for this problem and also didn’t bother much about it since it was an on & off problem.
o But then as the days passed, I started facing this problem pretty often and the drive was becoming very uncomfortable.
- Unfortunately, I met with a minor ACCIDENT one day on my way back home from office, which happened because of the ‘Left pull’. It was an accident wherein I a cow happened to come right in front of me on the Mehrauli – Gurgaon road and I bumped into it because the car was getting pulled to the left and everything happened so ‘Swiftly’ that I couldn’t control. It resulted in damages to my car’s bonnet, front bumper & the right hand side red light
o I ended up taking my insurance (which means I cannot claim the ‘No Claim Bonus’ now)
o The total cost was 23,788/- out of which I paid Rs. 3724/- from my pocket.
- I took my car for repair/replacement under insurance to Competent motors and also told them to do the second service (JC no: JC09020288, JC Date: 23/11/2009, Mileage 4924).
o This time my vehicle’s attendant/supervisor was Mr. Dinesh Arora.
o I told him the problem of left pull and he assured me that he’ll have it checked & corrected.
o I got a call from them on Sunday that my car is ready & I can take the delivery.
o Unfortunately I was out of Delhi on Sunday & Monday for official work and hence could go to take my car only today (2nd December 2009).
o I was at the service station at 10:30 in the morning.
o At almost 1:30 pm I got the gate pass and left the service station (Competent Motors – Mehrauli)
o I again faced the problem of ‘left pull’ but I persisted with the drive for 5 kms
o But then I couldn’t drive beyond and took a u-turn and went to the service station.
o There I got the car checked at the alignment machine (attendant Mr. Tripathi).
o He found that the alignment was wrong. (while it should be +1 points on both sides, it was 0 on the left and 0.5 on the right)
 Apart from this, the alignment machine also showed that the ‘Castor’ & ‘Camber’ had gone bad / they were not in the position they should be. i.e. this was notified by the machine & Mr. Tripathi also.
 He corrected the alignment & I went for a test drive with Mr. Satish (1st Test Drive). I drove the car.
o The car again pulled to the left and we came back.
 This time they interchanged/swapped the front wheels (left to the right & right to the left).
 Mr. Satish & I again went for a test drive (2nd Test Drive). I drove the car.
o Again the problem & we came back. By this time the problem had been reported to the floor supervisor.
o This time they called a person named Mr. Raju who first took 10 minutes because he was on a tea break.
 He then got my car elevated up and checked something.
 On asking he said, he has loosened & re-tightened the bushes because sometimes anti-rust coating makes them hard.
 This time, he – Mr. Raju & I, went for another test drive (3rd Test Drive). Mr. Raju drove the car.
o Again the problem & we came back.
 This time they interchanged/swapped all the four tyres
 Mr. Raju & I, went for another test drive (4th Test Drive). Mr. Raju drove the car.
 He told me that if the problem isn’t sorted out, then they will give the vehicle to the DP department (Denting/Painting)
Kindly note: this was happening even though everyone knew that the alignment machine has thrown open the problem of ‘Castor’ & ‘Camber’
o Again the problem & we came back.
 This time the ‘Works Manager – Mr. Khan (Sahib)’ was called.
 He asked Mr. Tripathi to again put the car on the alignment machine.
 The machine again threw open the problem of ‘Castor’ & ‘Camber’ apart from the alignment gone wrong.
 This time they called another mechanic who pulled out the steering wheel from the driver’s seat, did something inside it & again attached it.
 We again went for another test drive (5th Test Drive) even though Mr. Tripathi had brought the problem of ‘Castor’ & ‘Chambor’ to the notice of Mr. Khan (Sahib). Mr. Raju drove the car.
Kindly note: while I was taken for all these ‘Rides’, I was very patient and didn’t complain anything to anyone, forget about raising my voice.
o Again the problem & we came back.
o This time we (Mr. Raju & I) went to the Works Manager – Mr. Khan (Sahib)
o He said that the shocker & bushes needs to be changed, but said that it cannot be done today and I will have to leave my car
Kindly note: My car had already been at the workshop for 5 days!
o I pleaded him – joining my hands & requested him – Ask him if I did this or not.
 I told him that ‘Sir, I couldn’t go to office today because of all this and now I cannot afford to take another days’ off. I had to send the monthly report by 4 pm today which I couldn’t. I can prove this.
o I also brought this to the notice of the CGM, Col. Dahiya.
o Then Luckily I bumped into a Gentleman called Mr. Vikas Gupta ([protected]) who was from Maruti
o This time, Mr. Vikas Gupta, Mr. Khan (Sahib), Mr. Dinesh Arora & I went for a test drive (6th Test Drive). Mr. Vikas Gupta drove the car.
o While driving Vikas said that the alignment is bad, whereas he along with Khan sahib not only knew but had also acknowledged that the ‘Castor’ & ‘Camber’ had gone bad.

I have finally brought my car home and am writing this mail to you from my home. I have been asked to get the car again tomorrow morning 9 am.

I would sincerely request you to kindly help me come out of this harassment. I am hopeful to get a positive reply from professionals like you.

    DEAR SIR ,
    I RAJINDER SINGH OF MEERUT HAD SENT A COMPLAIN TO YOU ON 23 11 09.REGARDING MY WAGON R CAR NO. UP AF 7555 BUT I AM SORRY TO SAY NOTHING IS BEEN DONE SO FAR BY THE CO.AT MEERUT M/S RAJ SHEN AUTO PVT .LTD.INSPITE OF MY REPEATED REMINDER TO THEM FROM 8.11.09. THEY ARE SHIFTING THE BLAME TO THE MAIN HEAD OFFICE.
    FROM LAST 20 DAYS MY CAR IS IN NOT IN RUNNING CODITION .I HAVE INCURED A HEAVY LOSS DUE TO WHICH THE CO. IS LIABLE TO PAY THE CLAIM TO ME.

    THE REQUIRED SERVICE WAS DONE. ON 8.11.09 WHEN THE CAR WAS SENT FOR GENERAL CHECK UP . IT WAS FOUND THE CAR WAS AGAIN CONSUMING MOBILE OIL . THE PHOTO GRAPH WERE TAKEN AND SEND TO MARUTI FOR APPROVEL. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE SO FAR. I WOULD LIKE YOU TO REPLACE THE CAR .

      I have purchased a new alto standard car on[protected].Now its brake valve assembly(proportioning)is replaced due to unserviceable leakage. This part is a very very important safety device.But it was not given due care during assembling and inspection.I wish to show my grief and pain caused through the waste of time and money due to such irrelavant defects.This has distroyed my faith in Maruti Suzuki a wide spread car manufacturer.

      I have purchased maruthi swift dzire VDI on 17/02/09 after long (3months) waiting period. After 1st service (1500 km) i found brake noise (rubbing noise) in front wheel and left drag in flat road. then i have taken the vehicle to mondovi service center in mysore for 3 time but problem still exits. After that i have informed to customer care regarding this problem. After one week dealer once again called me for rectification of the problem.
      in the mean time i called service engg of maruthi suzuki but i was not satisfied by his answers.
      After this my vehicle taken 3 times for trail and error method application. At the end of all the GM of the same dealer told that the vehicle is good and no problem. But the problem still exit. I am totally dissatisfied by this vehicle.
      I can’t believe that one on big car manufacturing company, 40% share holder in Indian automobile market can give functional defective car to customer.

        Sir,
        I, Dr E. Rajesh Kumar had purchased a Maruti Swift Vdi ABS, Chassis No 247943, Engine No 1023107, Key No 5029 from Varun Motors, Hyderabad on 09/08/2007.

        For the last 5 months when ever the ignition switch is turned to the “ON” position the Service Vehicle Soon ( SVS) light comes on and does not disappear and when the engine is started it some times blinks and the engine is switched OFF and I have to again turn the key to the ON/ACC position and then again turn the key to the start position and start.

        Over the last 5 months I have taken my vehicle atleast 10-12 times to Varun Maruthi workshop at Towlichowki, Hyderabad to get this rectified and I have visited the workshop atleast 30 times. My vehicle was kept in the work shop for nearly 10-12 days, and the last time I visited was on 24/11/2009 and the vehicle was kept for 2 days i.e 24th and 25th. Being a Doctor I have to visit different hospitals and you can well imagine how difficult it was for me to take time off from my busy schedule to visit your workshop and having to travel by auto and I was not provided with a standby vehicle even once.

        Before I brought this vehicle, I owned a Santro for 7 years but I did not have to visit Santro workshop more than 2-3 times through the 7 years I owned the Santro and see how many times that I had visited Maruti Workshop in this last 5 months.

        Today I am mailing you to inform you that for all the trouble I have taken to get this rectified even today after 5 months and innumerable visits to your workshop the problem still persist and I am really frustrated and disgusted with your people not able to rectify this problem and hope that Maruthi Udyog Ltd will look in to this and give me relief.

          I bought Alto VX in Jan 2001.Company has launched Alto 1100cc in VX model in 2000-01 after one year it has stoped its production at that time its price was 3.80 lakh . after one year company has launced Alto Lx 800cc engine in same chasie no change externally at cost 2.25 lakh. common man do not believe that both cars are different . My cars resale price is going to decide on the basis of new price of Alto 800 that is not genuine . It is due to companay . because they about own profit not for customers.
          Please give me appropriate advise

            dear maruthi,
            i have bought a maruthi suzuki swift ka-41 N-80 from kalyani motors, mysore road, bangalore karnataka.
            i hereby request you to not do skirting for any cars plz .bcoz i bought a car from above showroom which has provided me ready made skirting for the above mentioned car as a special edition i bought a car on July 31,and i used the car for 1 and half month skirting colour was so bad that my car was looking like 3 years older one. when i given it for service i complained about same they repainted it.and when i asked them to remove the skirting they told that it will take 3 days but again after one month same problem occurred i have given for service to mandovi motors in vijayanagar bangalore karnataka and i asked them to remove the skirting your skirting was so bad that they charged me 7000 rs to remove the skirting,
            and i paid 21000 rs for skirting.
            i don't know who is the skirting specialist over there, he is not even put any clamp to put the skirting.
            totally they minted my 30000 rs.
            i respect maruthi for its service but at the same time show rooms are also should give the same service,
            i would request you to compensate for above damage which is done by kalyani motors, mysore road, bangalore karnataka. otherwise i will go through legal formalities.

            swift — KALYANI MOTORS BANGALORE

            I Had a Very BAD experience with KALYANI MOTORS BILEKAHALLI. Recently I booked a SWIFT as per they told me that Swift is ready to take home. As soon as I paid the money, they started saying that one in showroom has some defects and I need to WAIT for 3 WEEKS.

              I am Anupam Kumar Jain owner of Maruti Suzuki - Zen Estilo VXI Aug. 2007 model no UP 16Q 8413. My car is sold and serviced by Rohan Motors, Greater Noida.
              I detected problem in stearing and front Axle/Suspension just after 3000 K.M. of run. Service centre kept on doing wheel balancing and alignment instead of finding out the root cause of the problem. Vehicle is running on best roads of India still tyres have completely worn out in just 30000 k.m. Report of service centre authorities is to change all tyres.
              I have been continuously complaining for bubbling, sound at the time of applyinh breaks etc. and visiting service centre averaging one visit per 1000 k.m. Stearing rod was changed and work on front suspension have been done under warranty but main problem has not been resolved leading to troublesome driving and loss of 4 tyres in just 30000 k.m. Further, frequent visit to service centre is not only wastage of time and money but a cause of irritation also.

              i have also the same problem with my zen estilo LXi model 2009. Within 7000 Km both front tyres were worn out badly. Service center told me that the problem with wheel alignment.But two times i have done the wheel alignment. Let it be any thing, i have complained to maruti and they have changed front left tyre, which was badly worn out. On 50-50 basis, i have paid 50 %of tyre price. still all tyre are on close observation, because there may be problem with other part of the car.

              Maruti Suzuki Zen Estilo Vxi — Manufacturing Defect

              I purchased Zen Estillo Vxi from Chowgule Industries Ltd and found that Plastic attached to Co-Driver's seat is not fitted properly. I asked them to rectify the same and they did it temporarily and assured that everything will be done at the time of first servicing.

              Now the plastic part has come out and it is not getting fitted as suggested by one of the Maruti Authorised Service stations because out of two screws inside, one has been broken.

              Please get the same rectified on priority.

                Hello I am Bishir P.R, from Erattupetta in Kottayam(DIST)Kerala.I am an owner of Swift Dezire VDI(Reg. No of the vehicleis KL35A-4627) this is my third vehicle from Maruthi.I purchased it in January 2009 from POPULAR VEHICLES AND SERVICES LTD.,Kuttukaran Centre,MAMANGALAM(Dec: 2701).
                Chassis NO. 148891.Engine No 1160806.I Serviced my vehicle in INDUS MOTORS COMPANY PVT LTD, MUVATTUPUZHA)(completed third service yet).

                I have three serious complaints in my car.
                1) Abnormal tire wear in front left side.One tire is already damaged in 7000 K.M and another one is also wearing (presently it run 13065 K.M).I already complainted this three times(last complaint given in date 16th November 2009, customer ID: [protected] ) and checked upto 3 days, they told me Maruti not give the technical problem solution till now.

                2) When the vehicle is in running, to shift the gear from 5th to 4th, then suddenly the engine off., especially applying clutch in 5th gear to 4th.this complaint will makes accident in running because we lose all controle in brake stering etc..

                3) The Window glass of Back Left side make some Noise in running, Several time I pointed it and they cleared, but after one or two days the same problem is repeating.
                This problem give irritation and affect the travelling comfort.

                I told this complaint several times seriously but the service provider cannot identify or clear it, more than three times i gave my vehicle to check the problem.Now this complaint is breaking my peace of mind, I am sure they cannot clear it without your involvement.So you should take immediate action to solve this complaint as very seriously.This is my last way to approach the problem and I am stopping my letter with an expectation of an appropriate quick action from your side.                 Maruti / Swift Dzire - ZXI — Tyre Bursting

                The subjected vehicle was purchased in May'2010 through M/s Rohan Motors Ltd. Noida.
                During travelling the rear RH tyre got brusted suddenly. When Rohan Motors were enquired for the replacement then, they denied for the same.

                Looking forward for the justice in this regard.

                Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire VDi — Not getting proper service after complaining for the same problem again & again

                I have serviced my car as per company schedule but facing problems since I have drived 22000kms after complaining in every service dere is no conclusion so expect you to reply where shud I go
                Or else I'll have to think over it further now it's high time

                  With this letter, I would like to bring to your kind notice that, recently I have purchased Wagon – R – Duo from your authorised dealer M/s Ganapati Motors, Bhilai. The vehicle was booked for “Dhanteras of this Diwali”. At that time, Maruti has launched the scheme with Bonanza offer “Scratch & Win”.

                  Now at the time of delivery of vehicle, the treatment I got from your dealer, I felt cheated by your dealer. Hence I am communicating this to your good self as it ultimately affect the credential earned by Maruti. The details of transactions made through dealer as appended below in chronological order –

                  1. When I enquired to buy a Wagon R from said dealer, M/s Ganapati Motors, Bhilai, I was asked to deposit Rs. 10,000 advance (Accordingly I deposited advance, Receipt No. 13289, Dt. 19.09.2009) and assured that the vehicle will be delivered within 30 days with scheme available. But the vehicle was not delivered to me in time.
                  2. When I contacted them, M/s Ganapati Motors again asked me to deposit 100 % amount in advance and requested me to opt another colour, with a commitment that, vehicle will be delivered on Dhanteras / Diwali and the scheme launched by the company will be passed on to me. Accordingly I deposited balance amount of Rs. 3,92,750, vide receipt no. 13853, Dt. 07.10.2009. Copy of receipt and commitment checklist is attached herewith for your kind perusal.

                  Your dealer M/s Ganapati Motors, Bhilai failed to meet the commitment and did not deliver the vehicle on the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras / Diwali or even in Tulsi Ekadasi.

                  On 14th Nov, Saturday, M/s Ganapati Motors, Bhilai communicated me that, vehicle has arrived. Accordingly I visited to dealer on 16th to take delivery of vehicle. At the time of delivery, dealer refused to pass on scratch & Win offer under promotional scheme to me. Then undersigned showed the papers in which dealer committed to pass on the scheme and I asked him to return the full payment of the vehicle. Then only dealer allowed me to use scratch & Win offer. But at the same time my coupon was not considered for Bumper draw and the same was thrown in the Dust-Bin, Thus I am deprived by your dealer from the scheme launched by the company and I felt that I am cheated by Maruti Udyog.

                  I will request your honour to please look in to the matter and reply within 10 days, otherwise I will be forced to take legal action.

                  I am also the sufferer at the hands of Competent Automobiles, 21 Shivaji Marg, New Delhi who have not been able to give me RC(Smart Card) in respect of my car no.DL 2C AK 7225 purchased on 26th.Aug'09.No concrete reply given so far despite my regular followup with them.Competent automobiles should be renamed 'Incompetent Automobiles' for their non performance in the matter. Their emails addresses just bounce back with delivery failure.

                  Can any body suggest what should I do?
                  I got my Maruti Wagon R UP 14 AL 5358 serviced on 05/02/2010 from [B]ST Track Auto Care Limited, A- 31, Sector 63, Noida Ghaziabad. It was a Paid Service. According to their checks and limitations they did the servicing. I am surprised to say that my vehicle has not even run for 25, 000 Km and clutch bearing, clutch release, clutch cover and bearing cable have been changed/ replaced.

                  I am afraid these charges should not be levied from me because my vehicle has not even moved for 50, 000 Km from the date of purchase. I feel if the clutch and accessories have reached up to the condition of replacement, then it is a quality problem on company's part and I should be returned with the charges which have been levied from me vide Cash Memo No. BC 09006245 and Job Card No.JC 09006557 dated 05/02/2010.



                  Please look into the matter before it takes the shape of litigation in Consumer Court.

                  Sir, I had purchased from your company one Wagnor-R LXI BS Maruti Car on 20.4.2009 with Registration No. DL2CAK4580, Chassis No.MA3EED81S00789319, Engine No. 4613955, CNG Kit No.21101447, Cylinder No. [protected]. Since we wish to use of CNG in our car, I requested my husband to register CNG kit in my permit with authority No.2, IP Estate, New Delhi-110002. Accordingly my husband went to the Authority concerned last month for registration of CNG kit. The concerned officer of the authority examined the papers and raised an objection that the cylinder is that of M/s Everest Kanto Cylinder Limited, but the tax invoice has been given by Medical Engineers (India) Limited. They have asked for the tax invoice of the cylinder from Everest Kanto Cylinder Limited. In case Medical Engineers (India) Limited has been authorised to issue the tax invoice by M/s Everest Kanto Cylinder Limited, a copy of their authority letter authorizing Medical Engineers (India) Limited for issue of tax invoice on behalf of M/s Everest Kanto Cylinder Limited may please be supplied to me for satisfying the authority concerned. If Medical Engineers (India) Limited is not authorized for the purpose then a revised tax invoice on the letter pad of M/s Everest Kanto Cylinder Limited may kindly be arranged in place of tax invoice No. 0113/09-10 dated 13.4.2009 issued by Medical Engineers (India) Limited.

                  They have also asked a certificate from your company that all parts in our car are original and genuine and if any damage due to CNG kit happens, it will be the responsibility of Competent Automobiles Co. Ltd.

                  We are therefore requested to kindly provide the above two documents to me within ten days from the date of receipt of this letter. You are aware that I cannot make use of CNG without registration, it is very necessary to provide the above information for the registration of CNG. In case the above information is not received in the said, I will have no option but to knock the door of court of law.

                  In this connection, my husband has been pursuing your company for the above purpose for the last one month on telephone but all in vain.

                    Recently i bought a swift vdi from Indus motors, pattom trivandrum. For the first free service i had given the vehicle to Indus service centre at Kumarapuram, trivandrum. I dont know what service they did. While given back i noticed that they didnt even wash my car or clean the interiors. Moreover they didnt look into the complaints i raised. For the second free service, they promised me to rectify all the complaints. But the service quality they deliverd this time is even more worse than the first service. Whatever complaints i have raised for the second service, they didnt even look into that and told me that everything is ok. I found out that they didnt do anything with the complaints or even service and i complained to their customercare. But the customercare peoples are also saying some junk reasons and later they accept their fault. They ask me to take the vehicle once again for second service. II did the same but result is..... No Service, not even they washed the vehicle. I have burnt the diesel 3 times to service my vehicle in kumarapuram Indus but till now i didnt get my vehicle properly serviced atleast once. These people are not considering my complaints.

                    I completely agree with you... its not only indus... i bought my swift vdi last april and till now have done 3 free services... all the 3 services i did 2-3 times each service.. since they wont even do a water wash... they just wipe the tyres and little body wash... but the mud flaps, chasis all remains the same... and inside also they dont clean even the seats properly.. they just put a paper on the mat and the dash board will also not be properly wiped... i seriously getting pissed with the way the service is being done... all these 3 service was done in MSM maruti service masters... only i have gone thru bad experience... now i hate to get it serviced also... Money waste, time waste, energy waste... i dont know what kind of policies maruti suzuki have in place for these service centers... does they have any check point, or they are the backbone in all these hungamas

                    i purchased maruti swiftfrom gulzar motors . on 25/10/2010. its tyre got punctured which could not be repaired because of poor quality of tyres used.in response to my complaint to company, iwas called by gulzar motors on 12/04/2011. at the out set iwas asked to par rs.30/- being lcharges forremoving tyre from rim. money was pocketed by sunil sharma, then he sent me togoodyear where i was asked to come some other day. when i expressed my helplessnessto come again they declined to redress my problem' I again approached GM OF GULZAR WHO IS MEAN AND CHEAT FELLOW,HE STARTED INSULTING ME. HE ASKED HIS PEON TO THROW AWAY TYRE AND RIM . CAR HAS JUST DONE 2000KM. AND ITS TYRES ARE BECMING USELESS.AFTER SPENDING 6.00LAC I FEEL INSULTED BY MARUTI DEALER AND CHEATED BY MARUTICO.
                    MARUTI IS REALLY LOOSING ITS REPUTATION BECAUSE OF GREEDY DISTRIBUTRS AND POOR QUALITY OF SPARES USED. THIS CO. IS GOING TO BE DOOMED.

                      I have a strange problem with the Car glasses,During morning and evening time the glasses get foggy from inside by moisture after 5 mins of drive.The problem worsens during the Rainy Season.I have tried changing the setting of a/c during summers and heater during winters,but this dint helped.Can you please give an appropriate solution to this?
                      I do agree with you, same problem is with me for my Swift VDi, But here i want to add that the problem was not because of FOG as you had mentioned, but It was because the glass which was completely covered by the small small spots and that also from outside, Here the situation is that as I use the Wipers in rainy season the spots become visible with the Wiper sweep and after a while thet disapears and will come back in picture with next wiper swipe.
                      This is because of manufacturing defect in the Glass, and this should be accepted by the Maruti.But they are not accepting this. They only says that if it was the problem than it could be from very first date. Then i told them that, I facing this problem in this rainy season and this was my first rainy season after I bought this car. But I thing all is in vain, they will not easly accepting this, so i had now planed to go for consumer court. and hope other one who are effected by this will also join me.

                      The fog develops inside of wind shield can be removed by switching on A/c. But during raining out side a film like thing appears outside on the glass. This can be some what removed by switching on the heater. Any how during raining at night you cannot drive Dzire. In Aug I went to Kerala along with another car Honda city. Up to Palkhat we were together. At 1900 hrs when we reached Palkhat it rained. I could not drive and took a halt of 2 hours. Mean while Honda had reached Amballur near Trichur.                       Yes similar issue ...in rain we are not able to drive car or else we will definately meet with accident, if taken lightly

                      I bought my Maruti swift 10 Month before and I am facing front glass impurity driving in night while rainy season. Front glass gets such a impured and visibility comes drastically and driving in such situation is highly risky. As my vehicle is 10 month old I still believe Maruti Suzuki, Seva automotive, Nagpur may take care of complaint.

                        I booked Estilo VXI-ABS on 25 Sept 2009 with ONE UP MOTORS INDIA PVT.                         I booked the car from sai service lower parel during end of Sep 07. the car booked was swift vxi abs bright red colour. While booking I was told that the delivery will be done by 20-30 Oct 07. Recently I am told that Maruti has problems in production [huge demand, which can't be supplied), so I won't get the car for four months at least, which makes the delivery date to be end of Jan 07.
                        I said in that case, I will like to cancell the booking...then I was told that I can get vxi abs [same model] but not red bright colour, but in silky silver, which will be delivered to me by 5-Nov-07. I am disappointed as I always wanted to have Red Bright colour.

                        I wish to know how do I get red bright colour before end of this month. How do I know whether it is problem from Maruti company itself or something else.

                        To be frank, I am delighted by my existing maruti zen vxi...Maruti has achieved it's mission (or objective) statement of customer delight....but with this new experience, I am now delighted for sure. I just wish to get the delivery by end of this month of red bright maruti swift vxi abs. And not really interested in knowing the reasons of this mishap, which I have to suffer.

                        Mechanic drives the car to move car towards washing section. During that period he got accident and my car got damaged. I asked service in charge person to give solution of the damages but instead of that he and other employed started arguing with me. They misbehaved with me and even been physical.

                        As I joined Maruti Suzuki family because it provides best service with customer satisfaction but is this the ways of behaving with customer? I am really very disappointed with those activities.

                          hi, i am rajveer air force officer booked a swift dzire vxi model through csd at premsons motors Ranchi, in the month of sepetember 09. and given booking amount of Rs 25000/-. I have asked them that deliver the car to me on or before 31 october 09 since my marigge is sehduled on 20 nov 09 .But now deler is mentiong that they are not geting vechile dispatch from delhi palant so deler is unable to give me car on time.                           I booked Maruti Swift Dzire in my Co.s Name, on 08.09.2009 (8th sept.09) and was promised delivery by the Dealer, M/s Navneet Motors, Thane, maharashtra, by November 09. The Booking amount of Rs.50, 000/- was paid in the Name of M/s Navneet motors, Thane.
                          Now, after much follow up the Dealer has sent a letter informing The Delivery will take 16-20 weeks.
                          We have NOT heard of any production trouble at Maruti plant.
                          How come the Delivery get so much Delayed ?
                          Can Maruti Suzuki Sales Department explain ?
                          What about interest for 3-4 months ? who is enjoying this Deposit of rs.50, 000? The Dealer?
                          I heard that in Pune this car is available in 4-5 weeks.

                          I booked my car on 1st August 2009 Dzire Vxi with color soverign blue..till date I have not received the desired model.The dealer is telling that if i want immediate then I can choose different color other than soverign blue...The delaer name Mohan Motor, Kolkata...

                          Its already 4 month..my concern is that if price get raised from Jan 2010 and by that if i don't get the car who going to bear the brunt?

                            Hi All,

                            I would like to share with you the atrocious experience that I have gathered after purchasing a new Maruti Suzuki Wagon-R Vxi car from Jalan Distributors, Teghoria, Kolkata. I have purchased this car on 20th September 2009, but were not provided with the 3rd Year extended warranty documents along with the new car even when we have made payments for the same. We were also, not provided with money receipts for the entire money that we paid to the Jalan sales team during the purchase of our car. We were forcibly asked to drive home the car with a TC number in the no. plate when we actually asked them for a temporary registration for our car. We were ready to pay the temporary registration charges, but the Jalan sales team had provided us with false information and compelled us to go for Barasat registration. Car owners are not allowed to ply their vehicles with a TC number in the number plate. It is an offence as per the Indian Motor Vehicles Act. The TC number is strictly meant for use by motor dealers. The dealer can use it while transporting the vehicle from the manufacturing unit to the store or garage. At the most, it can also be used for test rides, according to the officials of the public vehicles department. I was later surprised to learn about all this information from News-Paper sources. It is clearly mentioned in The Telegraph, Kolkata edition dated 7th October’09 that “the police had launched a drive against vehicles using the TC number after sale, which can attract a fine o[censored]p to Rs 3,000 for the first time and Rs 6,000 on subsequent occasions for private cars”. The News-Paper also stated that “Such vehicles are a threat to law and order as the user can commit crime and escape as police cannot trace the owner in the absence of a registration number. Also, the owner of such a vehicle cannot claim insurance in case of an accident”. Even after being aware about all these facts, the Jalan sales team had made us drive the car from Kolkata to Durgapur (220 Kms, Crossing 3 District Toll gates) with a TC number in the number plate. I am really unable to understand whether Jalan Distributors/ Maruti Suzuki India Limited considers this deadly act as a part of their core Values (Customer obsession).

                            After a long telephonic and e-mail battle with the Jalan Sales team we were provided with the Vehicle Registration Smart Card on 05th October’09 and the 3rd Year Extended Warranty documents on 04th November’09. Along with the 3rd Year Extended Warranty documents, based on our previous several complaints, Jalan Distributors have finally sent us the Road Tax and Vehicle Registration Challan receipt of INR 22,220/-. During the time of purchase, they have charged us INR 31,750/- towards Vehicle Registration and Road tax charges. I am unable to understand the reason behind them charging us INR 9,530/- extra towards the same? Also, it is clearly mentioned in the Tax Challan document as a special note by the Government of West Bengal, that "the token must be exhibited in the vehicle and non-exhibition makes owner punishable". Still, the Jalan sales team members did not hand over the document to us earlier even when we have repeatedly asked them about the same. They kept providing us false information saying that the Token is not meant to be handed over to the vehicle owner.

                            I would also like to share with you about the poor standard of service that we received from Jalan Distributors, Kolkata on the day of purchase of our car. We are a permanent resident of Durgapur and had travelled all the way to Kolkata to take the delivery of the car, but to our surprise, we found that there was no representative from Jalan waiting in the show-room to greet us @ 10AM IST on 20th September’09. For a glass of water we had to go out of the show-room and manage from a nearby stall. I had purchased the car to gift it to my father and hence took my dad along with me to complete the paper-work formalities. In spite of me informing about this to the Jalan sales team in advance, there was no little arrangement made to make the day a little special for my father. There was no enthusiasm seen in the staff to make the delivery process enjoyable and memorable and even there was no little ceremony that took place during the delivery time. We had to wait for a long time for the delivery process to take place and at the end we only realized that we were not at all introduced to anybody from the service department. We were never contacted after delivery to ensure everything was satisfactory. To add more to the agony, the vehicle was not delivered with all the additional features promised at the time of sales.

                            I am currently working for an MNC in Bangalore, and have accompanied many of my friends in the past to take delivery of their new cars in the show-rooms. I was really delighted to see the way the cars were delivered to them by the dealers. I cannot anywhere compare Jalan Distributor’s service to the services rendered here in the Bangalore car show-rooms. I have written several e-mails to Jalan Distributors and to the Maruti Suzuki CRM team stating all the different issues that I have faced during the purchase of my car, but I did not find any of them doing enough to help me in resolving my issues!

                            Earlier, during August-September’09, Beekay Auto, Chanda More, Asansol Showroom had refunded us the advance booking amount after 1.5 Months of booking the Wagon-R Vxi car stating a silly reason - unavailability of stock. I am now tired of receiving poor standard of services from Maruti Suzuki India Limited. All these issues have together put my morals down! These burning issues have killed the great impression that I had about Maruti Suzuki India Limited!!

                              I have sold one maruti zen lx 2002 model to orbit motors rourkela(orissa) on 15th oct.2009
                              i want to book swift dezire vdi (white colour) but the sales executive mr. Rajani is not co-oprating properly. He is not picking up the phone or not replying properly. I have given oral complain over phone to the GM orbit moter rourkela but i m not setisfied.while exchanging my old car i was told to get a new dezire vdi model whitin 45 days but till now they have not book my order and i have received money receipt of my old car dt.15/10/09.

                                (I had purchased the vehicle on 24/07/2009 ( the period of 47 days ) in the 47 days the vehicle is laying 21 days in your RNS service station & 3 days in chitradurga, throw that it is clearly inducting the vehicle performance, last 3 years I had experienced with wagan-R vehicle & I never faced such kind of crude problems and the same vehicle served me a lot without any problem.For that I had gone once again through your product. Now with this swift vehicle as per present experience (frequent break downs) how can I believe your quality of product after sales & service.


                                Your company declaring about your brands as a No-1 in India,, but sorry to say that you people re think before declaring about your product, think about the customer, think about the quality of the product before selling & think about your quality service. I wish to say that 1st satisfied the customer & think about your standards and rules,

                                Note - This is not our fault this all your fault only pls recall all issues & I am faced.

                                01.First time 8th august 2009 (with in 10 days of purchase with in mileage1500 Kms)- problem occurred at 10:30 AM while driving on high way NH4 (Bangalore to Chitradurga.)- contacted customer care & bolt, belt tensioner & belt damaged replaced at Saketh automobiles Chitradurga.

                                Note- This all spare suppled RNS on sunday Chitradurga with out bill, after recivied all spare we hand over to Saketh automobiles Chitradurga & they are changed all spares replaced on same day morning, ofter changing the parts we used the vehicle, we take the all dameged parts same parts handed over to Mr. S. Shetty RNS Bangalore on tusday morning & same day vehicle we hand over to Mr. S. Shetty, he checked and returen vehicle around 04:00 pm & we used the vehicle.

                                02. Second time 25th august 2009 (within 1 months of purchase with in mileage 3000 Kms)-problem while driving on Bangalore City (BTM Layout) - contacted Mr. S. Shetty he say pls bring the vehicle we check & confirm, till date no replay.

                                  I recently left my car (ALTO) to the service station at Ooty - Ambal Auto for a complete service as I was to going to travel for a long trip to coorg.

                                  I did specifically mention the service engineer about my long trip and wanted him to make sure things are perfect so that it should not spoil my trip.

                                  The service was done and when I was half the way, while setting up my luggages, found that the extra tyre was not mine. I had all JK tyres while the extra tyre was Apollo.

                                  Knowing this I called up the service engineer, he informed that it could have been misplaced and it was fine to use that in case of any emergency. [First of all this was a bad suggesion given by the service engineer]

                                  Secondly when I checked the alien tyre, that was again not in a good condition and was a punctured one.

                                  This really frustrated me and wanted to register a complaint on the site and I found no such complain form on maruthi Suzuki site and also on the dealer Amabal auto site.

                                  This could have ruined my trip. It is a serious issue that Maruthi has to take action on their dealers and engineers.

                                  Being paid so much for, the service is just SO HORRIBLE.

                                  M name is deepanshu ohri . i purchased a maruit swift vdi form your dealer Tr sawhney Motors pvt ltd in cash date of purchasing the car is 10/10/009. today we went at your dealer to give our car for services .we asked them for the charges of services of the car one of the person said that the charges r 700 and other said it is 800 and the third person said it is 850 .so can u please confirm me is there any fixed charges of the fist services or not.

                                  Sir, we have bought a car on 29th of october bearing model no. MRF-308 chasis no. 1496449 and engine no. 4313837 registered under Mr. Anil Kumar Sarma(my father) from Jay Bee Maruti showroom, Dibrugarh, which we have booked on 11th of october, Sir, I have a query that when we asked for the scratch card, the respected manager Mr. A. Lode and sales executive Mr.B. Gogoi said that the offer was over on 20th of october, but Sir there was no mention of the offer's last date on the advertisement published on the paper Dainik Janambhumi dated 10th of october and when we showed the article to the authorities of Jay Bee they told that it is a matter of the sales department. Sir, I want to have a clear explanation of the article, whether this is a marketing strategy of your firm to collect the orders and supply the order as soon as the offer is over or its a fault of the advertisements. Waiting for your prompt reply.

                                  I have booked a swift desire vxi car (CLEAR BEIGE COLOUR) from CITY CAR- SATNA (M.P.) about three months ago.The personnel at City Car- Satna commited me to provide the same within a month but the car has not been delivered to me yet.Moreover there is no response of my phone calls from dealer side.
                                  I am a PSU employee(working in ntpc ltd.).I had taken the loan of Rs. 3 lac from my company and I had to submit the papers of my car within a month from loan taking date.But I was not able to do so due to the reasons mentioned in first para and subsequently received a notice from my company to submit the car papers immediately. Now i am in a great troble due to false commitement of City Car -Satna personnel.So kindly get me delivered my Swift DesireVxi (clear beige colour) car as early as possible.

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    This refers to redemption of credit points against my Citibank Auto Card which is due to expire on 31.12.2009. I visited Ratan Motors Govandi Service Station to get the points redeemed on Thursday 5th Nov 2009, it was informed that the machine is not working so i need to come the next day, or can visit showroon of Ratan Motors at Sion Trombay Road. I went to Ratan Showroom today & was informed that they can provide only "FREE AUTO-SERVICE" against the points.when asked if i can avail any free accessories against the points, they told me that they DO NOT provide ACCESSORIES against points,Can you please take up the issue with Maruti,as Citibank Customer Care, has confirmed that card holders can get accessories from any Maruti Authorised Service Center/Showroom.I own a Maruti Alto Lxi, bought from Navnit Motors,Thane in Oct 2008.

                                        my friend booked a dzire vdi in his name in sep-08, now i want to take the delivery of the car in my name because my friend already purchased dzire vdi.now dealer refusing the delivery in my name.u tell me on which ground dealer do this.nothing is mention on booking slip , this is not transferable
                                        at the time of booking one of the sales executive say yes .
