Dear Sir,

We bought a swift car from a reputed dealer in Mumbai - Bandra west on the 12th Oct 2007. (ALMOST TWO YEARS & SIX MONTHS AGO) MH-02-BD-4032 We were very happy on first getting the car - that was the last moment of happiness -There after it has been horrible experience - the car DRINKS PETROL like a giant - we made several complaints to the service station & they assured us results - but no use - there was no effect on the working of the car - the speed of the engine keeps increasing by itself within two days of servicing the car - THE CAR IS DEFECTIVE !!!

I wish to inform you that I am a media person & wish to bring this to light for other persons buying Maurti cars of the defective cars being manufactured & NO RESPONSIBILTY FROM THE COMPANY'S SIDE AT ALL .
I would expect an exchange of vehicle & compensation for the WASTE OF PETROL & MY ENDLESS TROUBLE Caused because of buying your product.

If I Do not get an appropriate reply or response in Seven working days I will deem that you are not interested & I will move in the manner I wish, with reference to the above.

I have no comments right now since I am awaiting delivery ( ordered on 20th Jan 2010) of Swift Dzire ZXI. My present complaint is false promise of early delivery (1 1/2 to 2 months) for the Petrol driven car. The local Agents ABT Maruti always have a ready reply that Maruti Udyog have not despatched the vehicle ! Meanwhile the manufacturer merrily keeps on increasing the price, first for Duty and now for raw materials. May be they are waiting to hike the price once more before despatching the car !

    Hi,

    This is bring to your kind notice that I am suffering because of some UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOUR/ATTITUDE of your
    Team at your dealer M/S Harison Automobiles. GT Road Panipat-132103 Haryana.

    My Car was got damamged in an accident on 28th Feb and It required some repair.

    The Case is like that On Wednesday ( 3rd March) I had visited Harison Automobiles Panipat at around 1.30pm and There is nobody to attend the clients as lunch time was going on. So we were put down in que for next 30 minutes….

    Just a humble query….As such Big Organisation…SHOULD THERE NOT BE AN ALTERNATE OPTION FOR CLIENTS DURING LUNCH TIME ???

    Finally Its 2.10pm and we Met Mr. Kulbir Singh who filled my case and ask someone to see the vehicle and get ready the job card. When I asked the concerned person about the delivery of my vehicle he said very easily, you will get it on Monday and I was surprised as the vehicle was not damaged so badly.

    Then I asked him that Can I meet your Manager please ? So he said our Manager is not available. You can meet Mr. Suresh/Sunil for the same. Then I meet both the persons and both given me a statement that they would be able to fix it by Monday only.

    When I asked them Gentlmens The vehicle is not damaged so badly then how will it take such long time. Then they given me excuse that they have a lot of work pending to do AND YOU ARE NOT ONLY ONE CLIENT WE HAVE LONG QUES WAITING FOR OUR SERVICES. SO YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT AS NO OPTIONS.

    Then I asked him, Pls give me this job card for a sec and I called to Karnal Motors Karnal-132001 in front of them and briefed to karnal Motor Guys that my vehicle requires such kind of repair pls suggest me that how long time you will take to fix it.. They given me time to Friday evening or max to max Saturday Afternoon.

    THEN SUDDENLY BOTH PEOPLE START GIVING ME OPTIONS THAT THEY CAN ALSO FIX IT WITHIN SAME TIME AND THEY WILL TRY THEIR BEST.I ALSO GIVEN THEM A OPTION AS I NEED MY CAR ON VERY URGENTLY SO PLS DO NOT WASTE TIME TO PAINT THE BUMBER I WILL GET IT DONE LATER. SO JUST FIX IT.

    IT WAS SATURDAY 12 PM AND I WAS WAITING FOR A CALL FROM HARISON AUTOMOBILES FOR THE DELIVERY OF VEHICLE. WHEN THER WAS NO COMMUNICATION THEN I CALLED MR. SUNIL BHALLA AND HIS MOBILE WAS SWITCHED OFF AND NOBODY WAS PICKING LANDLINE THEN I SEND SOMEONE TO VISIT THE HARISON WORKSHOP AND THEY TOLD HIM THAT VEHICLE IS NOT READY AND IT WILL TAKE ONE MORE DAY’S TIME AS THERE WAS SOME DAMAGE WHICH WAS NOT IDENTIFIED EARLIER.

    I SAID OKAY SO PLEASE GIVE IT TO ME BY SUNDAY NOON. AGAIN I WAS WAITING FOR A CALL FROM THEM BUT STILL THERE WAS NO COMMUNICATION FROM THEM. THEN AGAIN I SEND SOMEONE TO VISIT THE WORKSHOP AND THEY TOLD HIM THAT IT WILL TAKE ONE MORE DAY’S TIME. SO I THOUGHT IT MAY BE BECAUSE OF STAFF HOLIDAY.

    ITS MONDAY AND ANYONE CAN UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF THIS MORNING AS WEEK START DAY BUT I WAS COMPELLED BY SUCH PATHETIC MANAGEMENT TO LEAVE MY IMPORTANT MEETINGS AND VISIT THE WORKSHOP.

    BUT THE STORY WAS NOT ENDED HERE, TODAY MORNING I MET MR. SUNIL BHALLA WHO HAD GIVEN ME COMMITMENT TO DELIVER THE VEHICLE ON FRIDAY EVE OR MAX TO MAX SATURDAY NOON AND WHEN I ASKED SIR WHEN WILL I GET MY CAR BACK ? HE SIMPLY SAID THAT IT MAY TAKE ONE OR TWO MORE DAY’S TIME. HIS ATTITUDE WAS JUST LIKE THAT I WAS ASKING HIM A PERSONAL FAVOUR AND THIS VEHICLE IS NOT MY PROPERTY AND IT’S THE PROPERTY OF HARISONS AUTOMOBILES.

    SORRY TO SAY BUT HE IS ON ZERO LEVEL OF PROFESSIONALISM
    AND CLIENT HANDLING.NOBODY WAS READY TO TAKE THE RESPONSIBILITY AT THIS WORKSHOP.

    THEN I ASKED HIM AGAIN, SIR CAN I SEE YOUR MANAGER PLEASE BUT AGAIN THE ANSWER WAS SAME HE IS NOT AVAILABLE SO I DO NOT HAVE OPTION OTHERTHAN DEAL WITH HIM.

    NOW CAN YOU IMAGINE THE PAIN OF A CLIENT AS THERE WAS NO OPTION FOR ME BCZ OF SUCH PATHETIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.

    ITS MY HUMBLE REQUEST TO YOU PLEASE HELP ME TO GET BACK MY VEHICLE ASAP…..

    THIS EXPERIENCE HAS SPOILED THE IMAGE OF YOUR COMPANY’S MANAGEMENT TO ME I KNOW I AM JUST A SINGLE CLIENT AND IN FUTURE IF I WILL NOT VISIT THIS WORKSHOP AGAIN AND IT WILL NOT EFFECT THEM A LOT.

    BUT AS PER MY EXPECTATION from COMPANY LIKE MARUTI SUCH FULLY ESTABLISHED,REPUTED AND LEADING ORGANISATION IT WAS NOT EXPECTED.

    SORRY TO DISTURB YOU PLS HELP ME TO GET MY VEHICLE BACK ASAP.

    Subject: This letter is to complain about services I received from Maruti Service Master.

    Dear Manager,

    I called MSM OKHLA on 15-03-10 & 16-02-10 to find out how to deal with a problem I’ve had with Wagon-r Lxi(DL3C AZ 4921). I’ve been facing this problem with the brakes of my car to which I’ve been given temporary solutions, every time I’ve visited your workshop.

    Needless to say, I am quite frustrated. I expected a much higher level of service from your company, and I am quite disappointed. So I would want you to look into the matter and help me get my problem fixed as soon as possible.

      Fed up no proper feedback about delivery date from the dealer Spectra Motors Thane coupled with very bad dealing experience with the concerned sales representative ( Mr Prasad ) , I decided to cancel my booking of Dzire VXi and submitted a cancellation letter on 27th Jan 10. However, I have neither received my refund cheque of the booking amount nor any communication from the dealer. Complaint to their Customer care department has also fallen on deaf years.
      I am still waiting for the refund after a lapse of more than 6 weeks and now contemplating approaching consumer court for my refund.

      I completely agree with the complaint posted on[protected] by Satish B Chutke. Even I am facing the same problem with Spectra motors thane. The sales team is pathetically careless in attitude, always gives false commitments and never bothers that there is a customer waiting for the feedback or status.

      I have booked my Ritz with Spectra only on a commitment to receive a delivery by Dusshera Oct 17th 2010. Each time I visited the showroom or spoken to them, there the same song played of "You be rest assured Sir... your vehicle will be delivered on or before Dusshera" However, you all can see, i am writing this today, the day next to Dusshera.Even when I took this matter with the respective Customer Relationship Manager, she was no good than the rest of the team. I was surprised to see who recruited her at that position? She doesn't even care in what tone and words she is supposed to speak to the customer. The Head Sales and Marketing was only there to show how busy he is in his work and meetings who never bothered to give a call back to me even after keeping several messages.

      I can only state here that Spectra is no where concerned with the customers but only to make money by false commitments and careless attitude. I am sure if they dont change themselves, they are going to die very soon as the Indian Customer has also understood his rights and demands customer service more than the product.

      I am also one of these customers above, I had booked Ritz VDI on 12 December 2010 by paying a booking amount of Rs.10, 000/- as per the Sales Executive Mr. Vijay Masurkar who attended to me and assured me that this money will be refunded to me if, for any reason the booking is cancelled without deducting any charges. At the same time they had a scheme going on called exchange bonus of Rs.15, 000/- for the old car. I got my old car True Valued by Sidhque for Rs.58, 000/- + Rs.15, 000/-exchange bonus (Rs.73, 000/-) at that time my old car was not transferred in my name so he told me to get it transferred first and then give it to the show room. I even asked him if the True Value will remain the same if I bring it on 27 December 2010 after the car is transferred he said not a problem but the old car should be in your name to avail this bonus.After the transfer and the loan sanction from SBI I took my car on Sunday, 2 January 2011 exactly 2 weeks after booking. Mr. Vijay said after doing all the paper work the old car has to be revalued. Some person called Amit did the valuation and quoted Rs.50, 000/- including the bonus exchange to which I was surprised, I could understand if it was Rs.5, 000/- diff, it straight Rs.23, 000/- diff. which was not acceptable to me and I said I will have to see some other dealer. Truly speaking since 12 December when they first did the True value till the day I brought it after transferring into my name I did not use the car, he could have seen if he has taken the Km reading.

      Further, I went to Fortpoint and booked the same car and in bargin the old car fetched me Rs.68, 500/- which before giving it I called up the Manager Mr. Prasad Pandit and I told him that Fortpoint is ready to give me Rs.68, 500/- if you are ready to give me the same amount I will continue the order. But Mr. Prasad told me that if they are ready to give you more than Rs.50, 000/- then I will refund you the full booking amount without any deductions, since we dont have any buyers at that price we cannot take it but still you give us one more day I will also find out from them, the next day he found out and told me to go ahead with Fortpoint. Then I called Mr. Prasad for the Refund amount, he in turn told me to contact Riya Kamble their Team Leader regarding the refund. When I called her, what a lady she does not know how to speak what a rash lady without allowing the opposite person to speak she directly said you have agreed for 50% refund and you will get the same and that is it. At last I had to tell her Stupid, and keep the phone down because she never allowed me to say a word. Now I strongly feel that she has been recruited for this purpose only to cheat the customer with their booking amount.

      Spectra is forcing people and convincing them to pay the booking amount on refundable basis and later they can make money in this way even if they dont sell the cars.

      I request you to please look into this matter and let me have the refund in 100%, if at all any charges are to be levied then it should not be more then Rs.350/- which I am ready to bear.

      Your immediate action on the above will be highly appreciated.

      the people in spectra are not only unproffesional but also behave like they are something any the customer is nothing in front of them . very bad sales and service staff . headache to the consumer .i think u should go ahead and not only sue them but alo make sure they pay much more to you for causing you so much trouble.

        I have spent for my car maintenance in Maruti Service in the month of January and February, 2010. But surprisingly auto points have not been credited to my auto card for these expenditures. On enquiry the representative from Maruti Service Centre apprised me that the auto card tye-up has been changed from CITI to SBI and on getting new card from SBI, the points accumulated before 31.12.2009 in CITI-Maruti Auto Card would be transferred but in between no transaction would be considered for auto points credit. We cannot expect such kind of service from a comapny like Maruti Suzuki. I should have been informed earlier for such changeover, so that I could have get the SBI Maruti Auto Card just after expiry of CITI Maruti Auto Card. This transition could have been managed by Maruti and concerned Banks in a better way to avoid such losses keeping in view of customers' interest.

          Sir,
          I Virender Sabharwal want to register complaint against my car maruti swift lxi model.
          Me is witnessing a serious problem agaist my car whose body has developed rusting problem.
          My car is just 3 years old.
          Me have been a reputed customer of maruti from last 11 years ,and this is first time i been facing such a big problem.
          Me had already file a complaint at my concerned dealer(T.R Sawhney Motors pvt.ltd.,Sahibabad branch).I have been in touch with Mr. Rajender there ,since december 2009,and in march i have got solution of just paint my car.
          Me had agreed on this point ,but requested a written statement from him,regarding this incident not to happen in near future but for which he had strictly denied the point.
          Me being a buisnessman ,didnt have much time.
          So, me just want a solid answer from head of maruti suzuki,that, why this problem takes place in such a small time and what is the permanent solution o this problem of mine.

            A booking for Maruti Swift Dezire was done by the undersigned vide Booking Order No.9505 D 100272 dtd: September, 2009 with M/s Competent Automobile, Gurgaon, Haryana alongwith the Booking amount of Rs. 10,000/-. An assurance was given by the sales representative of M/s Competent Automobile Mr. Ashwini that the car will be supplied within 4to6 weeks from the date of booking, accordingly, after completion of 4 weeks undersigned enquired from Shri Ashwini, however, he showed his inability and said that the same will be handed-over by end of October, 2009 again on inquiry during end October, he ensured and said that positively the same will be handed-over before 15th November, 2009 and requested to wait some more time stating the reason that the supply of Swift Dezire are very less. Further again on 15th November, 2009 when Mr. Ashwini was contacted he said still the vehicles have not arrived and it may take other 15 days and promised that on 2nd December the same will be supplied. During this period many a time he was contacted but the answer was same that there is no supply of vehicles till 15th December, 2009 the supply of vehicle was not done and every time on inquiry it was informed that some more time is required. Having frustrated with the above treatment, undersigned cancelled the booking of vehicle and asked for the refund of booking amount of Rs. 10,000/-. In spite of lapses of 1½ months till date I have not received my booking amount and no interest has been shown by Mr. Ashwini for my refund.

            It is needless to mention that after booking my vehicle I has disposed-off my old vehicle Maruti-800 and had to remain without vehicle for around 2½ months facing a lot of problems. The above action on the part of M/s Competent Automobile is highly objectionable and discourteous and defaming the Company like Maruti Udhyog. Till this treatment I was customer of Maruti and now I feel dejected after this treatment. I understand that Maruti Udhyog is highly customer oriented and with this complaint an early action will be taken to refund the cancellation amount and also action be initiated against the dealer.

            Booking of marutidzire was done on 16 december 2010 by the undersigned through ASPA Bandson, Amravati, Maharashtra. Still it has not been delivered
            dtd:24311. Time period given was 90 days at the time of booking. So, please deliver it on 442011.

              I phillips my vehicle is maruti swft vdi(UP32CA3250) very sad for service center MS M.V.V. Motors Lucknow.I went to work shop on 27th Feb. Regarding the reguler service i complaint that check lamp blinking, engine leakage,coolent leakage, body noise, pick droped , engine noise & rear stop lamp new fitment but any work not done acording my complain and billing rs. 2900.00 and repeatly i went workshop for same problem. now he says that your water pump is defective and estimated cost rs. 2300.00. when i went to workshop for receiving the vehicle he charged rs.3300.00.present time my vehicle is still at workshop.

              Dear Maruti Officials

              I am an old Maruti Customer this is my 3rd Maruti car in last 5 years and I am very disappointed after the normal paid services my Wagon R Duo, at one of your dealers (Prem Motors PVT LTD) in Jaipur, there was some body shop work was there and the normal paid service was due, i dropped my car on 26th of Feb 2010, and the delivery date was 5th March 2010, I told them some very specific things to do while the services like Gas Kit cleaning etc, but now after the services my car is in a bad shape, the vibration whish was never there in my car is on a very higher side with a extra noise from the engine. If I switch on the AC it seems like some king of a workshop started in the car which was never there, and more over I am not able to drive my car on LPG, engine gets off while driving the car on 2nd and the 3rd gayer and noise like gun shorts comes from the engine its very embracing for a professional person like me that u drive the car and due to noise people are staring at you and your car.

              My Car RC Number is DL 3C AD 9195.
              I am going again to your dealership today for the same complain.

              I am very disappointed first time in last 5 years; please get my problem resoled ASAP as my work is getting hampered due to this.

                i am jagdish kayada from surat. my brother booked mauruti eeco 5 star with a/c+htr superior white at dhru motors(add-9,jeevanganga nagar, udhna road, ph[protected] on[protected]. the dealer say we deliver car with in 20 to 25 days.
                we are inquire for that many timesbut they can't give any responce. they also 30 days in booking foam. before two days 0n[protected] my another brother go to dealer showroom they say they will delivere on[protected] and take undertaking form him . this is not fare/legal so please take some action as legal

                Maruti Suzuki — delay in delivery of car

                dear manager
                i had sent my alto on the 3rd of oct for replacement of fender and painting for the same. the car is insured with maruti insurance. i bought the vehicle in january this year from swani motors. i sent the same to their workshop. i was promised of the delivery of the car on the 6th of oct. till today they have not given the car. i have come from shimla and i am just waiting for the car to be delivered back. kindly see that people should give the car back on the promised time and not let the customers wait endlessly. i shall be thankful i[censored] look into th matter.

                  I had purchase Maruti's new car Eeco on 13th January, 2010 from M/s. Rana Motors, Bhikaji Kama Place, New Delhi.

                  We had been told that car rubber mats and mudflows were the standard accessories of the car. But at the time of delivery we were not provided the same and were assured that the same will be done within a weeks time. But so far nothing has been done.

                  The height of the back entrance is high and it is difficult to get in to the back seat. Also, there is no provision for keeping any papers or any other articles inside the car as there are no pockets provided either on the doors or on the back side of the front seats. There is no provision for keeping water bottles for glasses etc. any where in the car. The back doors are sliding but there is no provision for handles to hold on for closing the doors.

My car has a problem that the front tyres(interior) Side are getting the load still it has not completed more than 2, 500km. We complianed this to Amar cars at Janta Chowkdi, Anand. but they are not giving response. We also checked At other service station, then also this problem is not solving.Now what to do.                     I purchased my estilo vxi from cometent automobiles , cannaught place, Delhi on 2nd November 2009. When I refill my fuel tank suddenly fuel comes back, i told my problem to dealer, maruti authorised service station , ghazi pur and maruti own service station in okhla, but they told sir all cars fuel tank is like this, there is no fault in ur car fuel tank or fuel pipe, But am i fool my friend have two more cars one is alto and the other is esteem. But in this cars there is no any fault. Please solve my problem , i m not happy with this product

                      Earlier also I have made complaints to maruti suzuki, about the problem being faced in my vehicle. I was a blind follower of Maruti Products, but this particular model is troubling me since i have purchased it. Every time i gives my vehicle for service, instead of rectifying the problem the products returns to me with one or more problems getting added in it. last service was done 12th Feb by TM Motors Bharatpur, but still the same problems are existing in it with addition one more problem of meter lights and stand by lights not getting put on. When told the same thing to Mr. Ranjit Singh (Owner TM Motors), he did not gave a good hearing to my grievances and started talking in high volume. He did not pay any respect to his customer and do not listens to them, That is the main problem with all the staff of TM Motors. He asked me to talk to Maruti and not to him for any product related problem and he did not tried to solve the problem of my product. To keep my faith in maruti, you are requested to put take forward my complaint and please get my money refunded, so that i can finish my faith in maruti.

                        Dear sir,

                        i had purchased Ritz ZXi on[protected] from standard auto, Jabalpur MP, whom i chose over shubh motors, bcoz these people are the lesser among two evils.

                        during my previous free sevices i noted the air pressures in my car tyres were always lower than recommended at the time of delivery after servicing.

                        so this day i when i went to take my car delivery after third service, i requested for demonstration of air pressures in all the four tyres, as observed earlier all the four had less than recommended air pressures.

                        1. Are the service centres supposed to check tyre pressures during first second & third free services.

                        2. if they haven't done so, whom to report apart from the service centres?

                        3. how can i believe that these people have changed the engine oil - air filter in Quality & quantity, as per the schedule - i have paid rs 619.11 for oil & 72.57 for air fiter exclusive of VAT 13% , they haven't returned me the old air filter too.

                          Greetings! With reference to the above, I would like to draw your kind attention to the following:
                          1. One of the reasons of purchasing the Zen Lx model was its fairly attractive Mileage, recommended by experienced owners.
                          2. I have been servicing the Vehicle at your authorized Service Stations – Amitdeep Motors (workshop of the showroom) & Kay Cee Automobiles, Allahabad. Moreover, from the time of purchase, for all these successive years, I am adopting every precaution recommended in the Owner’s Manual.
                          3. However, I have not observed any improvement in the Mileage of the Vehicle, despite each year’s promise from your so called ‘Authorized Service Station’ that the same will improve ‘henceforth in the current year’! Perhaps, I believe these Service Stations are ill-equipped to do anything tangible and lasting!
                          4. In recent years the fuel prices have sky-rocketed and though I have run just about 40000 KMs, it is indeed disappointing that at times the Vehicle is giving just about 10 or 12 KM per litre of petrol.
                          5. I feel dejected and in fact, have not gone for the last servicing.

                          I approach you with the hope that you will make necessary arrangements for a reliable ‘Authorized Service Station’ to look into this matter and ensure that I will get a satisfactory and resilient respite at your earliest convenience.
                          May I thank you in anticipation of an early solution from you.

                            i had applied for the car a week before last day of maruti scheme for the yr 2009. at saaya motors GT karnal road new delhi salesperson Mr Dinesh Bajaj called in evening at 6 on 31st dec 2009 informing about the nonavailability of A-star LXI.
                            we then told him to cancel the order but then after 1hr he called up again and asked to take the car . we then went to the showroom to take the car but he dint show us the car and made us busy into the finance, registration , insurance and other papers and made us to recieve the car which was standing outside the showroom, as it was dark outside we were not able to check the car properly which was defective.we have also not recieved the invoice letter therefore we are not aware of the details about the manufacturing of car. the defects are the iron between the both side window mirrors were rusted, door at the back of driver seat is having yellowish dicoloration and bubblingvibration on starting up and on high speed, engine noice low pick up and low average is also a major complaint. gap in body at back light at driver's side. our complaint have not been removed despite of telling saaya motors about this.

                            maruti suzuki - A star — Non Delivery of CAR

                            Hi,

                            My frnd has booked her car (AStar zxi) on last week of DEC 08. The dealer (MY CAR - PUNE) promised to deliver the same by 26th January. Still there is no response from them. They are saying that they don't know when the car will arrive??? I mean who is responsible for that, how can a dealer say that he doesn't know the car delivery.

                            We have been waiting for the car so long, there is no reply from the dealer and they are very much non co-operative.

                            This is worst experience that i have had lately.

                            Maruti Suzuki A-star LXi — Non-delivery of car of colour of my choice

                            On 8.11.2009 I booked a Maruti car (A-star) of silky silver colour at your authorized dealer 'My Car (Indore) Pvt. Ltd., Indore', for I made a payment of Rs.5000/- through cheque No.416509 dated 8.11.2009 (Receipt No. REC09000994 dated 08/11/2009). They assured me to deliver the car within 15 to 20 days. In the mean while I completed all the formalities for taking the loan from the State Bank of India. Now, they are expressing their inability to deliver the car of colour of my choice. They are also insisting upon to take car of any other colour or the vxi model in silky silver colour. In this regard I am to say that I do not like any other colour out of colours introduced for A-star and if go for vxi then I will have to pay more, which I don't want. I do not understand as to why they are insisting upon to take car of any other colour. So, kindly guide me what should I do.

It is almost two months from the date of booking, I am yet to receive any communication regarding the delivery of my car.                               Dear Mr. Pankaj Narula,

                              I have been struggling for last 2 months now to get my car replaced from Maruti for their worst quality product and your dealer's (Vipul Motors Pvt Ltd) pathetic service.

                              When I purchased the car from your dealer on Feb 20, 2009, the steering wheel was very hard and after numerous visits, numerous phone calls and numerous emails, you and your dealer replaced the faulty module after 7 months. This was because your product had manufacturing defect and your dealer was incompetent to find out that fault.

                              Then within a month after the module was replaced, steering mounted controls, horn, airbag signs & seat belt signs stopped working. Maruti took more than 40 days to arrange that faulty module. Now its more than 2 months that I have been driving this car without these features.

                              I am not interested in keeping this car with me anymore. I have not enjoyed this car ever since the date of its purchase. I cannot keep travelling to your dealer, writing mails to you and your dealer and calling your customer care and your dealer for resolving my car's problem.

                              I demand justice from you by replacing my car because I paid full money to your company for a new car not for a faulty product. Please replace this car otherwise I will never purchase your cars ever in my life. As on today, I have 4 cars of maruti, 1 of hyundai and 1 of mahindra.

                              Please keep in mind that if you refuse to compensate me, I will switch to some other company.

                                Respected sir,
                                I bought swift lxi on 04/05/2009 from DD Motors Mayapuri, New Delhi. the car is having problem in reverse gear, as on applying, it get jam or lock or it produces unnecessary noise. I showed it to the service center but they were ignoring it for the last 8-9 monts. then i met the manager service and complaint about this problem, he checked it and said this type of functioning is normal, as the design is such. but i told him that in other cars there is no such problems for which he said the maruti is different from other car brands. now, i feel upset that the new car is malfunctioning and the dealer is not bothered. kindly help me out. I shall be very thankful to you.

                                  Following are my 2 complaints:
                                  1. I was a bit late (15 -20 days) for my second free service. M/s Ravi automobiles at Chembur, Mumbai, refused to service my car free as I was late. The car had run only approx. 1000 Km by then.

                                  2. The windows got jammed and wouuld not roll down and the doors were also too tight before the end of six months. The authorized dealer (Ms Ravi Automobiles) is not ready to help me in spite of the car being in warranty period. Since there is no offical customer greivance redressal forum at Maruti Suzuki Ltd. we are at a major disadvantage.

                                  MARUTI ALTO LXI — Wrong commitment by Dealer

                                  I have a bad service experience with Rajsheh auto Meerut (Delhi-Meerut highway). Their service as wellas customer handling was not satisfactory. I was comminicated that if i avail 3 consecutive services from their's showroom then 4th service will be treated as labour free but at the time of this service, amount was charged and told me that you have to pay. (Force fully).
                                  I told them that i will esclate this issue to MUL higher authorities then told me that you are free to write and let us see what can you do.

                                  I have recently exchanged my Maruti Alto Lxi bought in May 2007 from Competent Motors, Connaught Place, New Delhi with a Swift Lxi. During evaluation at 5-7 places I learnt that the bonnet of the car is repainted and even the inside quarter panels near the tail gate has been replaced by the original dealer. Being a novice I couldn't even realize this treacherous act by Competent Motors in last one year. I had to face humiliation during evaluation, since most of them believed that 'I' did all this and now trying to act smart. I got 15k-20k less, then what I could have got, since the car was in showroom condition even though with 19, 500 km on dial. Being in India, I am not expecting much from Maruti, but still wanted everyone to know that how much it hurts, when you are cheated by such a big organization.

                                  Maruti Udyog Limited — SUBSTANDARD SERVICING BY DEALER

                                  i handed over my maruti 800 DX 1997 model for servicing along with instruction for painting of bonnet, changing of interior roof lining and attention to starting trouble experienced. the vehicle was handed over to Sri Mitesh Kumar, supervisor at Vipul Motors, Unit II, faridabad on 06.12.2008 at 1220 hrs. subsequently i got a call later on that the front discs and the brake pads had worn out and needed replacement along with all the bearings of both the front wheels. i gave my confirmation over phone for the same. on 09.12.2008 i received a call from M/s Vipul Motors that tjhe car was ready for delivery. when i reached the firm i found that the roof lining had been pasted very shabbily and there were creases all over- a typical local open market kind of a messy job. on pointing out the service advisor said that the guy who had done the job was not available and could i please bring the vehicle back later on. i refused and asked him to get it rectified. when i saw the old brake discs, they seemed ok to a layman- on asking for the reason i was told that there were heating marks on the same along with wear and thus the disc had become thin and hence they required a change. frankly i couldnt locate any heating marks. then i asked for the condemming limit for the discs. the service advisor was not aware of the same and i requested for the maintenance manual which indicated the same. when the manual was produced it was seen that the limits for the disc thickness was 10.0 mm for new and service limit was 8.0mm. when i asked for the thickness to be measured, the service advisor was not aware of the method to check the same. i asked for a micrometer screw gauge to be brought. on checking it was seen the thickness was substantially higher at more than 9.0mm. T works manager when contacted was convinced that the replacement was correct but when i told him that i would be sending the discs to maruti for verification he offered to have the old discs fitted. after a lot of argument and chasing the vehicle was finally handed over in the evening. barely 3 kms out of the service centre the engine shut down. thinking that the fuel was low the car was pushed to the nearest petrol pump and filled up. next evening while coming back from office (30 kms distance from my home to office) the engine shut down again at ashram chowk about 20 km from my house at arounfd 8pm. the car would simply not start while the battery was cranking the engine perfectly. i touched and pulled a few wires and managed to start and bring the car back to faridabad. i took it to the only mechanic shop open at that point of time and when he opened the distributor cover- the cb points had badly worn out. the ignition coil was leaking oil and the wire leading from it to the distributor was melted, and badly worn out. these things should have been checked during paid servicing but had been overlooked. the air filter assembly was removed and the carb housing was coated with old dust and grime of years which had not been washed properly. i got the carb opened and found that it was completely chocked with muck. the needle valve also required cleaning. half the carb assemble was removed and completely cleaned in petrol and then with 3M carb cleaner. Subsequent fitment made the car purr like a cat. no trouble after that and the car is performing extremely well without any hiccups. i fail to comprehend the reason for this apathy from a company which touts - where ever you go you r not far or something from a MASS advertisement. this is not a case of a component failure or trouble in a car... what i want to high light is the brazen way in which i have taken for a ride- components changed which suited the company and the actual job of maintaining the car not even carried out.. the subsequent justifacations given by Mr Harjinder Singh/ Asstt. Works Manager and Mr Mohanty/GM of the centre just do not go down well. the high handedness is too blatant too be shrugged. when i tried sending a complaint through the net it was seen that the marutisuzuki.com website does not give u such an option at all. i intended giving a 10 grade but Mr Mohanty/GM has tried to pacify me and has requested that the vehicle be taken to VIpul motors again to check up on my story, and hence the 8. i really dont understand how in such a competitive market the service provider can fleece anyone like this. because the behaviour shows that its not an isolated incident due to a genuine error but an attitudinal problem and the whole setup has a role to play in it. can somebody guide me how to contact and inform MUL.

                                  Maruti 800 DX — dealers refusal to service the car

                                  My father has a maruti 800 DX car.My mother visited the nearest maruti dealer in VIP Road Kolkata.But the dealer bluntly refused to service our car because it was bought from another dealer.The dealer was approached for a paid service.Since then i have dropped my idea of buying any maruti car.But please take the pain to convey this message to maruti honchos who think that they can run a company without a proper functional website which does not have any option to lodge any complain.

                                  I gave my alto lxi to anand motors service centre sadar bazaar.. for accidental insurance and claim ... with all the formalities complete on 6th of jan ... i was been given a maximum of 14 days time .to get the vehicle complete and deliver .. i.e on[protected]. when i called on 20th for delivery ... at 1st they said that the car is complete and ready to deliver .. by mr . shankar singh ([protected]). then after 10 minute i got a second call that car cannot be delivered today as the reason incomplete. i got the new date of delivery of[protected].... then on 21st they again said that the car is not ready and cannot be delivered today on 21st ... now i am been given a new date of[protected].. with a reason that the car is still incomplete... if the car is still incomplete then what mr. shankar said on 20th was wrong ... i m facing great problem .. suffering my work ...due to irresponsible attitude and work by anand motors work shop..

One day morning Battery of my car did not start, i contacted all on line service numbers but of no use. at 0830 when i contacted No. [protected], the reply was horrible, they said "Sir dhakka marke start kar lo and go to nearest battery show room i.e. CHHANI JAKAT NAKA. I ran from pillot to post but of no use. IS THIS TYPE OF CUSTOMER CARE KIRAN MOTORS HAVE?

                                  i have purchase the alto LXi car from magic auto karol bagh and my sales consultant name is mr. kumar, as he have commit me to give a silver coin along with car but till date he have not give and it is about an month to purchase a car and now when i want to have a words with mr kumar. he is not picking up the phone as well as he is not repling us. i want my silver coin as soon as possible. and please take the action regarding my complaint.

                                    Hi ,

                                    I take Access 125 grey colour from IBAYS Hyderabad a month ago.Everything went well.The product is good,

                                    Suddenly i got a problem,iam getting some at back side of the vehicle,some sought of sound when iam taking vehicle upwards or with double(somebody at backside).Its keep on increasing.I thought its not a common problem & i given to SABOO at Secunderabad(Its near my office) as its due for 1st service also.They taken a complaint & promised for solution.At the time of delivery after service they start telling cock & bull stories that we have to change clutch assembly as problem arises.Presently there is no stock.Ok my doubt is if new vehicle getting problem like this then how we will have confident.Ofcourse that will be covered under warranty,but because of suzuki"s mistake we have to suffer.

                                    Please tell me wts the solution.

                                    I am facing the same problem more than 45 days, SMK Motors are not even informing what they had done.

                                    Hence poor response from dealer, more than 15 days vehicle was with the dealer they are doing R&D.

                                    I used to go to the showroom on daily basis, i got few friends having few more problems.

                                    I sincere advise not to buy a Suzuki vehicle, unfortunately i[censored] had taken don't give service.

                                    I own a Suzuki Access 125 vehicle, which is 1 year 6 months old. The vehicle was in a good condition till 1 year but for the past six months i am facing the problem of cut off while running. If i drive above 45 KM speed, the vehicle is not getting off. When i slow the speed or take by hands from the accelerator the vehicle gets off.

                                    I take the bike to the service center(Sri Roonwall Motors Ltd Old Washermanpet, Chennai) at least thrice in a month. Each time they service and return, the bike is good till 7 - 10 days and after that the same complaint rises.

                                    I am fed-up with this bike and the customer care at the service center.

                                    Please do not buy any vehicle in Suzuki brand

                                    Hi,

                                    Even the same problem - 2 yrs old vehicle while driving (2 persons total) suddenly developed huge noise and stopped in middle of the road. Stalled - wheel not rotating and later i pulled the vehicle back and after that only it moved forward. Vehicle service team indicated the clutch unit is completely damaged and need to replace with budget of 6K.. Expecting final update from service station.
                                    I too got a same & exact problem with sound while accelerating the veichle, which causes so much irritation for me.

                                      I HAVE MARUTI SWIFT DEZIRE. YESTERDAY I GOT SERVICE (2ND FREE SERVICE) FROM YOUR SIKAR (RAJASTHAN) DEALER M/S JAMMU AUTO. WHEN I GO TO ATKE DELIVERY OF MY CAR> I NOTE THAT MY REMOT LOCK IS NOT WORK. I COMPLAINT TO THE DEALER THEN HE REPIED THAT THE STAFF HAVE GONE SO YOU COME NEXT DAY. I WANT TO REPLY THAT WHEN CAR WAS SERVISED AND AFTER SERVICE THE OK SLIP HAS BEEN ATTECHED TO MY CAR IT MUST BE CHECKED THAT ALL FUNCTION OF THE CAR ARE WORK PROPERLY. I AM LIVE AT DIDWANA AND THE DISTANCE OF THE SERVICE STATION IS 80 K.M.. THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO STAY THERE IN A HOTEL OR RETURN BACK ON NEXT DAT.
