I have purchased a new WagonR Lxi (BS-4) on 23/05/2010 from T.R.Sawhney Motors Pvt. Ltd., East Gokulpur, Main Wazirabad Road, Delhi vide invioce no. 40453 through Mr. Neeraj Mishra(Team Leader) & Mr. Saroj Kr. Roy(Sales Executive). At the time of delivery of car, they had told me that no antenna is provided with the said model of car. But afterward it has been known to me that each car of new Lxi model is being supplied with company fitted antenna. Perhaps someone have removed the antenna at the time of delivery of car from showroom and same have been informed to both executives several times, but till date neither it is provided to me nor any response is given from T.R.Sawhney. I feel myself cheated by M/s T.R.Sawhney. Please convey to concerned authorities regarding this matter.

    I am the owner of a Maruti Ritz vxi (ABS) which I bought on 31-03-10.
    I complained of poor mileage & poor pick up within 2 weeks but the workshop manager inspected it & said it was normal.After the 1st servicing I went back with the same complaint.the response was same with a very casual attitude .Now the average milage is 11kms/ltr which was said to 17kms/ltr.
    The car dealer is BEEKAY AUTO PVT.ltd
    The reg number of the car is WB-74-R-0527

    You are correct, I am also facing same problem.
    I have purchased Ritz on Sep-2009. At the time of purchase they said Ritz will give best mileage in class and said 17km/litre.

    But now I am getting average of 12 Km/liter.
    The Car delear is Kiran Motors, Ahmedabad, INDIA.

      I am Ashok Singh Chauhan, I bought Maruti Suzuki Ritz Zxi (Vehicle no. MH06 AW-5141 )on 8 Feb 2010 from Simran Motors Pvt Ltd who are authorised dealers of maruti suzuki. First of all don't believe on what they say.
      When I went there to take my vehicle it was not washed and many scratches where there on the car. which they promised be fixed before delivery after 5 months that I am still waiting for the good day to come.
      After my 2nd servicing where they didnot do anything, just kept your vehicle for 8-9 hours and put some water on it and give you back. My tyres have a manufacturing defect which when I told them they agree and asked me that it will be done free of cost by JK-tyres and till now nothing is done. I launched a complaint in maruti customer care and complaint number is [protected].

        whether maruti alto is available through csd or not in bathinda....tara automobiles ltd...if it is available why they refuse to provide the availability certificate...if we ask them if the car is available by cash then they show all the colors and all types of versions are available...but if we tell them we want to purchase through csd ..then they say some dispute is going on between csd and tara automobiles bathinda.....so we cant give availbility cerificate or quotation.further they say i[censored] want to purchase it through cash then u can go ahead and i[censored] want through csd we hope the matter will be settled within a week. kindly ask them and tell us when that week will come...

          I had a breakdown on the highway 2 weeks back. The dealer : D D MOTORS, 81A RAJPUR ROAD, DEHRADUN has yet to fix the fault. According to the dealer there is a fault in the fuel pump. It is beyond my comprehension that a faulty fuel pump has not been replaced in 2 weeks for a car under warranty. The car was purchased by the undersigned on April 15, 2010. The dealer seems to be stalling for time for some odd reason.
          This kind of cusromer care is disgusting for the consumer and shameful for a prestigious organization like MUL. I hope a very quick action is taken in this regard otherwise I will have no choice but to go to the consumer court for redressal.

            I had purchased my Maruti car (Baleno VXI -- MH 43 R 572) from Spectra Motors Ghatkopar on November 2006.During the Deliver of my Car the Sales Executive ( M/S Meghna) did not give the delivery of my car nor did she attended to me.When I took the delivery, I saw a dent on my car at the left rear door and I informed the guy who gave the key regarding this, to which I was told that that was minor and can be taken care during the 1st service. I was with my family to take the delivery of the car and since i did not want to create a commotion, I took the delivery due the anxiety of my new car and the problem was not reported on the paper.

            When I came for my 1st servicing and told the Service Manager to look into the dent as told by the sales people, I was told that it is chargeable and the whole door has to be re-painted. I lost my cool and called the sales executive (Meghna) and told her to look into this to which she said the dent on the door was not their reponsibility once the car has moved out of the showroom and i must have done the dent. To which I called the guy who gave me the delivery of the vehicle and he admitted that the dent was there during delivery and he has comitted to solving the same. The door was repainted.



            After couple of months , I realised that there were bubbles on the paint and the same was reported to the service manager Spectra (Rajesh) . I had a good relationship with Rajesh and he assured me that it would be taken care and to leave the car for 2 days to do the needful. Since i was working from Mon-Sat and used to drive to work daily, I was not in a position to leave my car for 2 - 3 days. I was told by Rajesh that whenever i had time to leave the car at Ghatkoper Service center.

            Later on, I was told that since i stayed in Thane, I can go to Spectra Thane to do the needful. All this while, I was told that it would be taken care but as the days went, Rajesh quit, then Mathew, then Atul and now i am interacting with Vikas at Spectra Motors,Thane (Service Manager) who told me that the management has informed that they won’t re-paint the door as the warranty was only for 6 months. I had involved Amit dubey from Maruti and he was not able to help me in this cause.It been more then 8 months that I am interacting with Amit and Vikas and just 2 days back ,I am told that they would not be able to do the needful.



            I fail to understand firstly the quality issue of delivery of new cars to customers who in their anxiety of new car are duped into taking defective cars.

            Secondly if an authorized showroom has done a paint job, how come such shoddy job is passed on to the customers under the disguise of quality service.

            Thirdly, why does a customer have to bear the costs for inferior quality of work for a defective car delivered by a company “ Maruti Udyog Ltd.”



            I think since now the company is being managed by Japanese such inferior quality services will be given to us.



            I am very disappointed with the quality of service and customer support of Maruti Udyog. I would be forced to escalate matters to Consumer Forum and the press to highlight the discrimination of service levels in India by Maruti Udyog.



            Hope that corrective action is taken by Maruti Udyog on time.

            I have also experienced the same kind of problem from M/s Kapico Maruthi one of the dealers in Chennai recently. The rear bumper repainting done by them in July 2009 started pealing of within a year. When I brought the issue on 3/7/2010 (during my service) to their service manager at their MMDA colony service centre, he came out with a funtastic theory staitng that the car bumper has been hit by another vehicle and the bulge created is the reason for paint pealing. I challanged him to show the bulge as well as the hit mark in the rear bumper. He has no answer. Also I challenged him to show another car came with rear bumber damage and the pealing happend to the bumper. He has no answer and balatantly refused my claim without any consideration to the customer.

            This is the kind of service Maruthi and its dealers extending to their customers who has upteen number of choices in the market. With this incident, I have decided to go for another make during my next purchase and decided to change the service provider for the next service.

            Buyers BEWARE ! I bought a Maruti Ritz 4 days back from Varun Motors Madinaguda showroom. The deal was done by Manager Kaleem Shaik with me and my friend (who also bought the same vehicle along with me) We were given a choice of Rs 10000 cash discount /accessories. We opted for the former one but while getting our Invoice/receipts we noticed that they smartly reduced the Insurance (IDV value) by the discount which they offer to us. Its like reducing the value of the asset by the freebies which you offer to customers. Besides this, the basic accessories committed were duplicate and local, the car was not properly cleaned and we were forced to take the delievery during night time so that we couldn’t notice the defcts... I am not sure whether this is the case with all Varun showrooms but DONT go to MAdinaguda. The manager and sales person are cheat and fraud as they din’t disclose these loopholes before the deal.. Anyone who knows any senior person in Maruti pls leave your comments for escalation. Thanks

              SIR, MY VEHICLE NO.KA/02/P/8580, MET WITH MINOR ACCIDENT [I.E. AN AUTO HIT MY CAR FROM BEHIND], I HAVE LEFT MY CAR WITH M/s.NEXUS, RMV (NEAR M.S.RAMAIAH HOSPITAL), BANGALORE, FOR REPAIR (PAINT, DENT REMOVE, REPLACEMTN OF REAR BUMBER). I WAS USING CAR FOR MORE THAN THREE YEAR, I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY BATTERY, OR STARTING PROBLEM ETC. THE CAR WAS IN SERVICE STATION FOR MORE THAT 6 DAYS FOR GETTING APPROVAL FROM INSURANCE {MARUTHI}. AFTER DELVERY OF THE VEHICLE MY BATTERY WAS NOT WORKING, I FORCELY REPLECED THE BATTERY BY SPENDING Rs.3000/- APART FROM REPARIR CHARGES.
              THE SERVICE STATION INCHARGE HAS WASHED HIS HANDS JUST LIKE THAT AND NO COMPENSATION HAS BEEN EXTEND BY THEIR END. NOW I DEMAND 'MARUTHI UDYOG' TO LOOK IN TO THE MATTER AND DULY COMPENSATATE THE EXPENSES INCURRED MY ME. HOPE "MARUTH UDYOG' WILL NOT DISSAPOINT THEIR CUSTOMER.

                Sub: Request for replacement of defective vehicle

                Sir,
                First of all, I would like to tell you about myself. I am a middle class man and can afford purchasing a car once in my whole life and I trusted Maruti Suzuki Brand by spending around Rs. 3.00 Lacs.
                This is to bring to your notice that I had purchased Maruti-Suzuki Alto car LX BSIII on 16th June 2008, Registration no. PB-11-AK-2585, Engine no. 3533718 from Modern Auto, Ambala, Haryaya.
                Problem : Huge vibrations in the whole car between speeds range of 60 to 70 Kms/hr.
                Incident : The above mentioned problem was noticed immediately on purchase of the car in June’2008 and was discussed with the service mechanics during First service on 14th August’[protected] Kms to Hira Automobiles, Patiala, Punjab, it was assured that the vibrations would be eliminated after the service as they did the Wheel balancing.
                Nothing corrected !!!!
                During Second service on 10th December’08 – 5132 Kms, the problem was again explained to Service center Hira Automobiles, Patiala, Punjab, but found unattended after the service and I refused to pick up my car without fixing problem. Then the service Center thoroughly checked the vehicle and declared that the problem is because of Tyres and issued a letter to M/s Chadha, ( JK Tyre dealer in Patiala) for replacement.
                “Now another problem started”
                M/s Chadha and Engineer of JK Tyre were not accepting the fault of tyres and I made several visits (every alternate day) to their shop to set right the problem. I faced lot of mental harassment because of their behavior on my each visit and you will appreciate the fuel expanses, I have incurred on visits.
                After 2 months on 13th Feb’2009, I was successful in my mission and got the tyres replaced from JK Tyres.
                The vibration problem was still there even after replacement of tyres.
                I was used to contact M/s Chadha Dealer of JK Tyres for problem solving and continuously getting the reply that when the engineer will visit us we will call you.
                During IIIrd Service of the car on 15th June’2009 from Hira Automobiles, Patiala, Punjab, I again highlighted the problem but nothing happened except for false assurances.
                Further, during my IVth service on 20th April 2010, I again pressurized the service center to correct the problem and they issued another letter for M/s Chadha for replacement of tyres.
                Now for the last 2 months, I am regularly visiting M/s Chadha Tyres for solution and every time there is only one reply that JK Engineer is not available.
                This is the whole store, how a customer has to suffer after purchasing Maruti Car to set right the manufacturing fault.
                Now after 2 years of struggle for correcting the problem, I have finally decided that I will not go to any service center or any Tyre dealer.
                Now, I have frustrated too much from the Maruti’s response and decided to lock the car permanently in my garage.
                If Maruti really cares about his customers, please replace my car, if does not care then my next step will be taking the legal action on the harassment faced for the last two years.

                  My car met with an accident and was repaired by Authorized service center at Allahabad, But i am sorry to say that i am not satisfied, gear is not working smooth, after so many attempt and request they fail to remove the error.
                  Then one more complaint developed horn of my car is not working properly but they also failed to rectify the same. Poor after sales service....

                  Dear Sir,
                  I ve booked SX4 on 16 dec 2009 from ARYA Motors,Nagpur. I was told that car will be delivered within 2 days.From that day none of the ARYA employee called me and i was harrassed by the dealer and his team,when i called them on their mobile many times they refused the call and when i told them that i m going to cancel the booking suddenly they woke from their plesant sleep.and finally with their efforts i got it delivered on 21 dec 2009.It wasnt question of getting car delivered but the treatment i received was not at all expected out of Maruti.Before this car i had purchased WAGNAR from SEVA Nagpur but the service and treatment i had recvd was excellant .Seat cover and matings were promised. car was booked under the scheme of free Reebok shoes on purchase.None of the above promises have met untill now.I ve no idea wat is happening with Maruti and their Dealers.
                  I was thinking that all these matters,I will dicuss when i will receive call from Delhi customer care but again i m proved fool since no call i ve recvd untill.
                  Just wanna say big thanks to maruti and their dealer ARYA motors,Nagpur.

                  If anybody seriously reading this mail should take prompt and serious action against the dealer.

                      This refers to a WagonR we have purchased on 12/3/2010. I had given the car for rectification of problems yesterday. I.e. 25 June , 2010.

                      The problems were:
                      1. Screeching sound was heard when the car is turned.(Sound of some metal part be scratched somewhere).
                      2. Wiper Blades of Poor quality
                      3. Poor Average of the Car(10-11KmPL)
                      4. Vibration of the car at speed above 90-100KmPH

                      Kindly note, I regret to say that, the problem 1. still stands uncorrected/not rectified. The is no difference as the Screeching sound is still heard. I would not like to live with a New Car with problems like this, where the car has just merely covered[protected] Kms of run. Regarding the Wiper blades will only come to know while traveling in Rains. Have refilled my Car and will comment on the average later. Also for vibration at speed above 90-100KmPH, can check on while going on a longer drive.

                      I would not like to live with a New Car with these problems, and if the problem remains unsolved, I demand a New Car against this defective Car.

                        Indeed Suzuki access is a good mo bike of no doubt,but when it comes to puncture and removal of tyre alas there comes the hard part. The tool box does not have a wheel spanner of the correct size, indeed has got two nos of 17 inch spanners of no use.The worst part is that when contacted the dealer they told it is pneumatically fitted and cannot be done by myself and also they told company supplies the things and they just deliver,what a Joke?

                          I sandeep saxena purchased a maruti alto std bsiv car of chasis no MA3EAA61SO1656570 , engine no FBDN 4414579 on 23 /06/2010 from your authorised dealer of maruti suzuki named K.P. Automotives. sawai Jai Singh Highway Jaipur on the very same day my car got damaged in an accident( the wind screen of the car got damaged ) I took my car to Vipul Motors aother authorised dealer of maruti .Now the head of K P Automotives Mr. Ravi and insurance head of K P Automotives Mr. Santosh Goyal both refused to sort out the matter and at the regional office of maruti suzuki jaipur the staff including the receptionist and some Mr. Pushpendra all emphasised that why we have taken the car to Vipul Motors service centre not to K P Automotives service centre The servise centre is not ready to give cashless insurance claim .they are presssurising us to pay Rs. 6000 cash if we want the car within 2,3 days . Please see into the matter and sort it out

                            My Car Variant Name is Maruti Swift VDI Pearl white color. My Maruti Swift VDI Case Number: [protected]; Complaint Reference No.[protected],

                            Also I want to inform you that I contacted with Vipul Motor workshop in Malviya Industrial Area and on first visit they said that they have changedthe door, but due to some adjustments they have repaired the new door and fitted it.

                            On the second visit when I tried to contact their higher officials, they informed me that the New door was repaired as it was a door which was damaged in transit.

                            Why do I accept a damaged door when i fully paid for it, and now how can I believe that they have not repaired the original door fitted it back and charged me for the new one. As when I asked them to show me the old door they said they have sold it in scrap or Junk.

                            Now, after my regular complaints and attempts they are now accepting their mistake and ready to change the door. But now I do not believe in This good company and cannot leave my HARD EARN CAR in their hands, so please inform what should I do.

                            Maruti Swift VDI — Non delivery of Maruti Swift Vdi (pearl white)

                            Hello Sir,

                            This is to get your kind attention to the undelievery of Maruti Swift Vdi(pearl white).

                            I have registered/book for Maruti Swift Vdi (pearl white) at Rohan Motors Ltd., Ghaziabad, UP, India on 30 May, 2008.

                            My booking no. is 1414.

                            At the time of registration I was told that the car would be delivered within 1 month but till now I have not received it. And it is very urgent for me as there is engagement of my sister on 1 August, 2008.

                            Despite of contacting the Rohan Motors showroom I am not getting any satisfactory reply.

                            It would be so nice of you if you take some immediate actions regarding this.

                              I have a car maruti swift lxi model 2006. last month i faced some problem i went to service station rana motor at wazirpur it had a problem of over heating they asked me that engine work has to be done it will cost 30000 and it will be fine. after 10 days i took my car they made bill of 400000 . ik still paid amount but in 2 days time i again faced a same problem i asked them they send an executive who wasted my one hor but still prolem was rectified now after one week i faced same problem i left car at workshop now they are saying there is some other problem of fuel pump it will cost 10000 again. my problem i why did they not checked it earlier . if they cant tell problem in advance what is use of giving car at service station of authorised maruti station.


                              please help me in this as i am not ready to pay any further as they directly gave me estimation and it has alraedy crossed it.

                              Swift never undergoes such a problem... if it is Engine overheating first Radiator needs to be flushed and verified again... chk the Oil level and the timig belts if all these conditions doesnt satisfy put a Scan on the engine and have ot done...the service center had taken u for a ride...report it ot Direct Maruti Customer Care they can help i suppose

                                Brakkes failure an brakes hard while brake paddaling sound is coming from left side. Not Functionong properly, Complaint is not rectifying from the long period, body sounds are coming, engine is making more noise.
                                I completely agree with the Maruti Swift Brake Failure. I've been fighting with the Maruti service people (Maruti Service Masters - Real amateur technicians whose capability is to service cars which has ran less than 20, 000 KM. Reason - Till 20, 000 KM, for sure, most of the cars will not give any trouble. MSM technicians are good in servicing cars which do not have a problem. MSM Chennai) and till today i'm not able to come to a conclusion whether it is the failure of Maruti or its the inability of the technicians working for Maruti

                                  NEVER buy a Maruti Product unless you want to be harassed. I have been trying to get a response from Maruti against a complaint made two weeks back regarding poor sales and car service by VIPUL Motors Noida. Till date only Vipul has reverted saying they can't help while Maruti is sleeping. IF YOU GUYS DON'T UNDERSTAND CUSTOMER SERVICE THEN WHY THE FARCE OF A CISTOMER CARE DEPT.???

                                  Please suggest what action can I take against both VIPUL Motors and Maruti.

                                    I purchased a Maruti Car on 5.3.2007 from M/S Jalan Distributors, a Distributor of Maruti Udyog Ltd. at a total price of Rs. 5,46,990.00 out of which Rs.4995.00 was towards extended warranty. Normal warranty was for 2 years i.e. up to 5.3.2009 and further 2 years i.e. up to 5.3.2011 was the period for extended warranty..

                                    On searching my documents delivered to me by M/S Jalan Distributor at the time of purchase of the car, I could not find the document related to the Extended Warranty. In the 1st. week of September, 2009 I contacted the above Distributor for the same. The Distributor informed me that there was no such extended warranty in my earlier purchase deal.

                                    I searched my documents of the entire payment details and showed it to them that the aforesaid amount of Rs.4995.00 was already paid to them at the time of purchase of the vehicle. They were not ready to show their records to me, however it was detected later on that the documents of Extended Warranty was not issued at all even though there was instruction for the same in their record.

                                    When it was clear that payment was made and no such ‘Warranty’ was issued to me, I demanded for the same but they declined to issue the same with the plea that it was delayed by more than two years .I reminded them that the mistake and the corresponding delay were on their part and not mine, They replied “it is beyond their rule and hence they can not issue the same”

                                    Consequently they wanted to refund the money for the same. Their documents showed that an amount of Rs.3840.00 was due for refund and subsequently the said amount was refunded to me whereas the actual amount due was Rs.4995.00 i.e. the amount towards ‘Extended Warranty’. In the process I lost Rs.1155/- on this score

                                    On 1.6.2010 I found that the yellow light in the meter panel was not getting off including kilometer indication even after switch off by the ignition key.

                                    I took my car to the workshop of M/S. Jalan Distributors on 4.6.2010 and showed such defect to Shri Sanjoy Roy. Unable to detect the fault of this problem he advised me to take the car again on 7.6.2010 when their electric mechanic Shri Suraj Prasad would be available.
                                    I took my car again on 7.6.2010 and showed the problem to Shri Suraj Prasad. He advised me to keep the car for 1/2 days in their workshop for investigation; I was told that I will be informed over telephone about the rectification of the defect including the cost for the same. Thereafter he did not inform me.

                                    I contacted him again on 7.6.2010. I was being told that the entire electrical wiring was to be changed and the entire meter panel would have to be replaced by a new one. Total cost would be Rs,25,000/- approximately. I requested him to re-look the matter since the same would be referred to M/S Maruti Udyog Limited

                                    On 8.6.2010 when I enquired from Shri Prasad, he told me “ there is no need now for replacement of existing electrical wiring only the entire meter panel is to be replaced and the cost will be around Rs.7500/-“. In order to avoid discharge of the battery because of the above defect, I was told to disconnect one of the battery terminals whenever the car was not in use. I used to follow the same. To avoid my day to day sufferings I some how agreed to such amount of Rs. 7500/-.

                                    I was told to deposit some advance amount so that a new meter panel could be arranged. Accordingly I deposited Rs.2000.00 on 8.6.2010. On enquiry later on I understood that the material was not available at Kolkata and it was to be brought from Delhi which would take minimum 15 days time, till such time I would have to suffer. Later on upon hearing from them I brought my car to their workshop again on 20.6.201 for such repair. The repair was done and the cost of repair including cost of part was Rs.7781/-

                                    Had I been issued documents relating to “Extended Warranty” I would not have incurred a financial loss of Rs.1155/- (i.e the difference between Rs.4995 and Rs,3840.00) and Rs.7781/- towards cost of replacement of the meter panel thus totaling to Rs.8936/-.I will have to incur further loss if any in future for any defect during the period up to 5.3.2011 because I missed the benefit of such “Extended Warranty” for no fault of mine.

                                    In the instant case I have not only been deceived by the above Distributor and have suffered financial loss to the extent of Rs.8936/- but also faced considerable harassment for rectification of the defect of my car. I hope that I will be favoured with the justice.

                                      I had booked a Maruthi Swift car at Indus Motors,Adoor on 13.05.2010 in my father's name Shri V.M. George . I am working in Coimbatore . I enquired about the booking of the same with the Dealers at Coimbatore where the delivery was promised within one month after booking. I earlier owned an Alto which was also previously bought from Indus motors ,Adoor and which was in my fathers name having KL registration .

                                      As my Alto was having KL registration and it would get a better price at Kerala than at Tamil Nadu I wanted to book the new car at Kerala. I would have disposed the car only after receiving the new car .But the dealer at Adoor gave me a false promise stating that a swift car of Silky silver colour was present at Eranakulam ofice and that he would arrange delivery of the same within a week I booked for the new swift and also in the mean time diposed off the Alto car based on the promise of the dealer.

                                      His promise remained only a promise and every time I call him over phone or when my relative meets him directly he tells that the load has not arrived or that the silkysilver colour swift has not arrived in this load when contacted at the Ernakulam office of Indus.

                                      The above false promise of the dealer has put me in a lot of hardships .I am at present not able to commute with my family .Had the dealer informed me the approximate delivery date I would not have disposed off my old vehicle. Further, I in a hurry ,had to arrange for loan amount from Kottak Mahendra for which the Loan amount has been sanctioned and I am supposed to pay the EMI.I have requested them to hold the sanctioned amount till this month otherwise I will have to cancel the loan sanctioned.

                                      All these hardship to me has been caused by the Dealer Mr Johnson of Adoor by giving a false promise and by not informing the customer of the approximate delivery date.

                                      I feel cheated. Had I booked my vehicle at Coimbatore I would have received delivery by now as my freinds have received the same after booking .Such cheap gimmicks by such dealers are a slur to the image of Maruthi dealers and paint a sorry picture of the dealers as well as the manufacturers .My customer ID is I[protected] ORDER NO SOB 10002302 DT 13.05.2010

                                      I request that my case may please be considered earnestly and sincerely at the earliest to mitigate my hardship.

                                        dear sir i had booked my new alto lxi black colour booked on 15 may and my full loan amount 230000 was transfer on 29 may 2010 but still they are not deliver my car even when i contact him then they simply tell black colour is not avaliable then i change my colour option and give him two colour option blaze blue and black but still sir i am waiting ? why they are doing this i donot know please sir do some positive action regarding this matter
