I obtained personal loan of Rs. 1,65,000/ from Citi financial Nanganallur branch Chennai during May’2009. I have been remitting the repayment of Rs 6,291/ regularly. When the loan was sanctioned I was told that interest @ 20.75 % will be charged flat . When I obtained the account repayment schedule after some time I am surprised to note that the interest is charged @ 20.75% flat but it calculate 33.60% in reducing balance . This position was not explained to me when I obtained the loan , if it was explained to me I would not have obtain this loan. When I read the agreement it is mentioned the rate of interest translate into 33.60% in reducing balance. Now I paid 12 installments and note that a little portion only taken to principle amount. I never expected that big financial institution would charge exorbitant rate of interest . When I approached the branch to remit some amount in bulk I was not allowed to pay bulk amount in the middle in order to reduce my interest burden. I have entered your financial services without ascertaining the depth of the loan repayment . I don’t know how I am going to complete the loan repayment since I am a single bread winner I feel that heavy burden of interest is levied on me. I have no other alternative but to pre close the loan by July 2010. Hence I request my loan repayment may please be recasted with less interest rate and without charging for the pre closure .

ICICI Personal Loan — REMOVING NAME FROM CIBIL

I have taken personal loan from icici bank and i have paid reguler emi's but after shifting to sangli i unable to clear my ecs but i had pay cash, & I inform to bank that i m shifted to sangli please come to me for ful & final sattelment but they refused my request, the last 14 emi got bounced but i payid that emi in cash (every month), icici bank employ's harresd me on phone like anything they come to my fathers home any time at early morrning or night forcing my parents to pay the dues my father conveyed them for full & final sattelment so many times, after 14 months i cam to pune to bhandarkar office i have paid Rs.16000 as settalement and i had recived the NOC but still my name visible in CIBIL. why its happening.

Personal Loan — Not considering for personal loan

I wanted to apply for Personal Loan for my present requirement, when I approached Axis Bank, one of the executives told me that I have to be a graduate, but whereas I am a Diploma holder in Engineering and I am working as a Senior Section Engineer (just one rank below gazetted officer) in Indian Railways. I told them that I have put a service of 20 yrs and net home is more than what many arts and science graduates get in central government jobs, in-spite of that, they insisted on me being graduate. Next I approached Fullerton India for the personal loan through filling up forms in ApnaLoan.com, they called me and asked for the details of employment, when I told that I'm working in Railways they simply told that they are not giving loan for Railway Employees.

I feel that these people are living in a myth that the persons from software industry and graduates only repay their loan.
