my self balraj singh staying in amritsar . there is new opening of reliance foot print, i bought puma sandals on sunday 2 aug 2010 and today 5 aug 2010 .i wear my sandal only one day and al the threads are coming out slowly . i been to store back ask the manager for replacement . he said he ll do it but after some time he came back to me and said we cant give you and exchange . i was not returning back that i dont like it it was damaged item . and he said hes not allowed to return back .

    i bought a pair of shoes from a exclusive store of puma in shipra mall, indirapuram on[protected]. after a month one of them get damaged and at that time i was not aware of the replacement policy but when i went to the store one of the staff told me that there is a warranty for six months.
    i asked them to replace then they told me to leave the shoes there for 10 or more days after which i will get the fresh replaced pair.
    at that time i was not in the situation to do so as i have only those shoes to wear hence i returned with those damaged shoes.
    again after few days the shoes get damaged from the other part so i went to the store with the bill and left those shoes there in lieu of replacement process for which they formally gave the reciept and told me to call and confirm whether the shoes is replaced or not and also told that if they will be replaced instantly they will call themselves.
    but after more than 10 days when there was no call from their side i called them for the status and they told me that shoes will not be replaced because there is no manufacturing defect.
    now i want to ask that what is the meaning of warranty if they are only responsible for the manufacturing defect.
    and if they know this before then why don't they told me in the starting?why they submitted my shoes?i have not told them that it is a manufacturing defect then what is the sense behind letting your customer without shoes for 10-15 days and there is no processing in the end.
    and yes in the end i want to say that these guys are very anti-friendly after once you buy something from there, they know only business and are quite professionals with no importance to human feelings.

    I have also face this problum and store owner first say one year warranty and show get damaged and after that when i go to replace he says the its only 6 month

      Sir,
      I bought the following shoes from a showroom of Puma in Sector 17 Chandigarh: Puma Ferrari Drift Cat II. It costed me Rs.4800/- to buy the shoes but the quality of the shoes is damn poor. Its not even just one month but my shoes leather has gone down from some areas,the leather is not up to the mark i guess. I need an action to be taken against this. My contact number is:

        i bought a pair of PUMA shoes from SOBO CENTRAL ,A DIVISION OF PANTALOON RETAIL LTD,PT. M.M. MALAVIYA MARG TARDEO, MUMBAI 400015 , AT[protected] & CASH MEMO NO. T47/MB1769.

        IN THAT SHOE, i wear only about 10 days , leather had cut from the stretching side of both legs shoes from same point , only 1 months old shoes damaged , actually i shocked how a big brand like puma making ridiculous type of shoes .
        actually i m in living in gwalior & not going mumbai.

        now tell me what we have to do,plz suggest

        Same problem happens with me, I have bought puma shoes of rupees 4000 but withing 10-15 days leather had cut from the front end on both shoes. I want to go for consumer forum.
        I mean this is ridiculous, i think next would like to buy shoes from street side(cheap local made shoes) rather the to go for PUMA. Worst service management I have ever seen they simply refused to repair it too.

        Do no buy any any puma product. PUMA should put a tag line outside their showroom " BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK"

          had bought this very stylish and sporty golf shoe last tyear somewhere in April from Puma Outlet at Ambi mall. reason for buying was light and 1 year weather proof and water proof guarantee.
          After purchase had got a guarantee card and bill.
          Enquired the salesman for if bill / gurantee card is misplaced then how do they go about the claim if any stated defect occurs within the specified time span.
          He mentioned that please keep the guarantee card with you as this is mandatory for claiming.
          On 17.02.10 had gone to the outlet with the claim that water is seaping in and hence the product is not satisfactory and fails to meet the requirement within specific time persiod and also handed over the guarantee card.
          They assured that the product will be chedked and will revert back within 4 to 5 working days .
          Today got a call from the salesman that the product is defective, however they need bill for furhter processing it.

          i am not able to understand why bill is required when the product is found defective and its guarantee card is already handed over as each shoe sold must be having a unique serial no card associated with it and the same can be checked in their system .
          Help me in getting the product replaced with the new one or monely back .

            I bought a Puma floaters from Puma store at Marthahalli, Bangalore. It costs Rs 1,700. Within a day o[censored]se the stitching of one of the straps came off. i took it back to the store next day itself, they were really nice at that point of time to take it back. they said either they can repair it or i can take another new piece. I told them i wanted a new piece. but they said they don't have the same size, infact no other floater in the same size. and said new stock will come in another 1 week.

            after one week i went i went to the store, still they had no stock, again they said 1 more week, and like this went on from Jan 10th 2010 to feb 21 2010. On feb21 when i visited the store a guy who claims himself the Manager of the store welcomed and asked me how he can help, I explained him the situation and he said that he would suggest that i take anything else for the same Rs. 1700 from the store.

            I went through the whatever remaining stock they had. all were pathetic.they didn't have an floaters of size 9 or 10 neither any decent shoe in size 9 or 10. all their t-shirts looked like used ones. They were just trying to clear their old stock which has been there for ages( at least one month i'm sure, since i've been seeing). I told him that i don't want to take any of these old stock items. better tell me when you get a new stock or refund my money. he was like laughing when i used the term refund. as if i said some joke.

            the manager guy was so arrogant that he started treating me as if there's something wrong on my part. He said that within 2 days new stock would come, but when i said its been the same thing your guys have been saying for past one month.. he says that you don't have to tell me the date when you bought. being a manager he says that he can't help it and he doesn't really know when he'll get the new stock. i don't know why he call himself a manager when he's not sure of when he'll get the stock and why he's giving such lame excuses. He says that best thing he can do is he can give his phone number (says that he usually doesn't give phone numbers to customers as he don't want them to call him up) as a big favor so that i can call him up and check with him.. he doesn't even have a courtesy to say that he'll call me up and tell when the stock is there.

            Overall impression. Puma store at marthahalli doesn't have good items to sell. all are seconds probably, no value for customers, arrogant manager, doesn't know how to treat customers. Please don't buy anything from that store.

              I bought a Puma shoe from connaught place puma outlet.It has been only 6 months and i have used it rarely,The problem is that its making squeaking sound and is embarassing to walk around with it.I paid rs6000 for it. what should i do now?               I bought a Puma shoe from connaught place puma outlet.It has been only 3 days and i have used it once, The problem is that the shoe is very congestrd at the ankle and fingers. i tried a lot to get mt shoe changed. but there response is that the whole problem should be chanalised .I paid rs2999 for it. what should i do now? I'm very worried as i am a student studying...

                Hi ,

                I have always been a loyal customer of PUMA products especially shoes. I currently have around 3 pair of Puma shoes. But of late what I have felt is that PUMA has started compromising on the quality of products they import and sell in Asian countries especially India. I myself from a garment and lifestyle accessory manufacturing company ,know the quality that is offred to different set of clients based on the compromising level.

                I bought a pair of puma shoes last year from planet sports, from among a varied chice of several other companies.( Planet sports being a MBO, multi brand outlet). but to my utter dismay and disappoiment , lines started appearing on the shoes within a week or two, like wrinkle lines where your feet bends , especially due to driving. Then the white covering on these lines started coming out, so I stopped using them.I called up the custoemr care mention on the packing box , but they just keep on giving otler peoples number and also give lame excuses.

                I take special care of my shoes and i even travel too much outside for it to be used in a rough manner,

                This clearly points out to lack of quality control on stuff imported from China and other places from where these items are imported.

                We as customers, to get the right quality buy these shoes at exhorbitant prices like ( the shoes I bought were for INR4500 or lets say $100) which is like a good amount for a shoe. Even after shelling out this amount of money if you dont get the quality to match the brand image of Puma, it is a pretty sad sitaution.

                This refelects really bad on the brand image of a company like Puma.

                Puma Sports India — PF withdrawal

                I applied for EPF withdrawl - KN/WF/35990/05 related to my work tenure with Puma Sports India Private Limited, No 500 CMH Road, Indiranagar, Bangalore - 560 038, tel.: +[protected].

                The completed application was submitted by Puma on 7th March' 2007. I have since written 25 mails and made 10 phone calls to the PF office in bangalore but neither no response/action whatsoever.

                Puma — fect in polish

                Dear Sir,
                I am a big fan of puma because it has such a good collection of shoes and clothing . i have mostly products of puma in my wardrobe. I have purchased a puma black ducati (golden) shoe of Rs-5500/- from south ex showrooom on 16th march 2010 . Thegolden polish on the back side of shoe was fadding. i had returned the shoe to the store.The store person Mr. luvish showed me some more peices of the same model and they also have the same defect of golden polish. Mr. luvish told me to give the shoe maximum within 3 days of time but till date i have not received the shoe. puma is such a big company and has the best products in town and my self has so many products that you can make me the( customer which has the most products). How can puma give such a quality.I have mailed many times to india office no feedback, no call back and no response. Now i have left no option so i am writing mail to you.Hope to get assistance from you.So i request you to kindly please look into the matter.

                Man, I bought a pair of Puma running shoes last month and already the bottom layer of the sole has come out. I took it to the dealer and he says he will send the shoes to the customer care and will get it back in another week. In these cases they have to just replace the shoes right there in the dealership - something like Reliance footprint does.

                The quality of Puma sports shoes has become really pathetic.

                At the end these MNCs are ripping off Indian customers. They will just stuff in some 100 rupees worth PVC and form into some nice style and charge 3000 or 4000 bucks! High time people protest or dump these brands - not just PUMA.

                absolutely agreed i am with the fact that PUMA is getting of inferior quality nowadays.it happened with me last week that i bought a PUMA lifestyle shoes from RELIANCE FOOTPRINT, JALANDHAR nad i noticed the shoes was biting my feet, the salesboy offered me to go for bigger size than that of my routine size and i went for that.

                Ironically, the size of shoes seem to be lose but my front portion of feet got spoiled as it was too tight, on complaining, they just refused to hear anything and i have thrown my shoes to the waste dump now.

                i will never buy puma in my life, its for sure now.

                We as a family are regular users of Puma Shoes and have always rated it the best among all brands available. This year in Jan, I picked atleast 4-5 pairs for my 2 sons from Gini & Jony store outlet in MGF Mall in Gurgaon and was very disappointed with the quality of the product. One of the shoes got wet in the rains twice and the red colour of the fabric used inside the shoe had colour bleeding problem. Each and every shoe of Puma (even of kids) is not less than 3000 rupees. My son has already spoilt 2 pairs of socks. I was really surprised to see this. Do not know how is Puma going to solve my problem.                   Hi,

                  I bought a puma shoes from Bangalore (from Puma showroom). I started using the shoes recently as I had another shoes. But, as soon as I started using this shoes, the shoes tore away. The sole came out and I couldn't use it anymore.

                  I spent nearly INR. 2000/- on this shoes and I hardly used it for 2 weeks. Please do the needful.

                  i'm writing this letter to inform u, that i have purchased a shoes of puma from Lucknow hazratganj puma showroom worth rs 4999, which is torn from the top, and the shoe was damaged badly. when i went for the complaint at the store, they made that shoe more .they are claiming that the warranty is of 90 days.my shoe are with them only and he didn't reply yet. and don't even wanting to repair my shoe.they straight forwardly refused us for any kind of help, as a customer i'm not satisfied with your services.i want a sincere effort from your reputed store.i shall be highly obliged for your kind consideration.

                  Puma Shoes — Tremendously uncomfortable pair of shoes

                  I bought a new pair from Puma store, Delhi. The MRP was Rs.3800. Though the shoes looked nice at once but been a month and its given me immense displeasure and hurt my toe while playing. Feels like I'm wearing 1 kg weight on each of my feet.

                      Hi,

                      I have not received my PF amount in my SB account. I had applied for withdrawal in the month of January 2009 and till date it has not been credited. As per information received from my ex PUMA SPORTS INDIA PVT LTD, my case was settled in the month of March 2009 for which they even gave me the cheque numbers but the amount has not been credited in my account.

                      Kindly help.

                        Hi,
                        We have purchased 1 watch around 2 - 2 1/2 months back` from your garuda mall show room, then within 15 days time watch's belt have bro ken, we gave it for repair then after 1 months time we got it back but it was almost in the same condition. Immediately we called Mr. Jaffery in the show room and told him about the watch. He said you bring it back I will see what best I can do. Either I will replace to some other goods or i wil repair it. But there was no good replacement we found and we said ok you repair and give. But now almost 20 days is over there is no reply from the show room. Once we went to the show room Mr. Jeffery said as soon as the watch is ready he will deliver it to over residene but there is no call back from his side. Regarding this we have talked to Shahzad who is at Brigade road Show room. This is the last option we are trying and mailing you. If we dont get any reply then we will take legal action.

                          i nishant kaushik had purchased a red colour puma t shirt from puma outleet kamala nagar on 2/06/09.
                          after a single wash its colour faded ( while purchasing this i had asked the sales man about this that its colour will fade or not and he told me it wil not fade and he also said " sir this is a brand, then what will be its use"). i went to there showroom with this problen and told them the story and they said they will try to replace it but now they say that its not there responsibility and hence i have to wear the faded t shirt and even they are not talking to me properly and not allowing me to talk to there manager.

                          i also have a bill of the t shirt. i please beg you to help me in this as i feel cheated by the above mentioned company .

                          I bought Shoes n T-shirts from PUMA STORE- SHIPRA MALL(GHAZIABAD) .there was some problem regarding stitching and size...but the arrogant store owner just don't seem to listen up...these guys are so illiterate they just don't seem to understand what you are asking...they just don't bother for the customers..once you have purchased they will treat you like a ...as if they have paid for your stuff...so guys next time you enter PUMA SHIPRA MALL _____PLEASE ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK... its unbelievable that CUSTOMERS are NOT IMPORTANT FOR PUMA
                          puma is really very worst company. I know about it. it imports samples only from Germany. and reassamble all materials from local vendors.
                          we are regretting that we have been using puma stuff all around from last 6-7 years. My wife bought
                          shoes worth 8000 in feb this year, barely used, torn from area after laces in just 5 sessions of aerobics. Stupid store guy telling me the terms of warranty was 3 months. I told him how much we must have spend on puma stuff in past years and that the kind of response you are giving, I will nerver come back to puma ever and will share our experience with others, dint make any difference to the franchise because they calculate only today's loss and profit.                           addition to above meassage - the store guy confessed that the defect is evaluated and found to be manufacturing issue covered in warranty but thas lapsed. I have lost trust in this nonsense brand

                            Till date the complainant Mr.R.T.Chaudhari Jalgaon Maharashtra has received no information & justice.I urge upon your forum to urgently intervene as like me he belongs to the middleclass. I will appreciate if you communicate with him. I am his very close family friend.Thanking you in anticipation.
                            As there is no communication after lodging complain. no replacement given by the company.Hence request to take the matter to get justice & replacement or money refund.
                            Otherwise there is no use of this Indian consumer complaints forum
                            If this thing happen in US, USA Or EUROPIAN COUNTRY same company would have immediately refund or replacement to the customer

                              Dear all,
                              Last month on 21/02/2009 i have visited the puma showroom at sectot-17, chandigarh and bought a shoes in sale.We were two people and we tried the same shoes with different shoes number.But by mistake the sales person has packed the shoe no.8 which was tried by my friend to me inspite of the shoe which i tried.I am working With IDBI Bank as Assit.Manager and is posted at Baddi which is nearly 50Kms away from Chandigarh, so i was not able to visit that shop earlier.But on[protected] i visited the shop again and told them about the incidence that happened with me.They responded very badly to my issue and said that the Sale was over on 22/02/2009 so they will not replace the shoe or change it.But the term and conditions on the bill clearly specify that theall the complaints will be entertained before months.It is clearly a fault of the sales person

                                No replacement/repair for damage in 3 months

                                I had bought shoes worth 1700/- in Third week of October 2008.
                                the shoe got damaged in just three months o[censored]se. the store keeper refused to take any action on damage....
