Reliance Big TV DTH Service — in spite of give activation charges card is not activated from last two months | |||
I bought a Reliance Dish TV Connection in the month of June 2011 . in the month of October when I got recharged still after two months it is not activated and my charges is also exoseted. I rush to the nearest dealer of Reliance but they refuse to help me and told me to register the complaint in customer care. In customer care no body respond. Reliance Big TV DTH Service — MISLEADING ADVERTISEMENT MISCOMMUNICATION
I RECHARGED MY ACCOUNT ON 19 DEC 2008 WITH Rs.500. I AM NOT ABLE TO GET MY ACCOUNT DETAIL THAT HOW THEY HAVE DEDUCTED THE BALANCE. THEIR IS NO SATISFACTORY ANSWER FROM THE CUSTOMER CARE WHERE I HAVE CALLED AROUND 25 TIMES IN LAST 3-4DAYS. THE ADVERTISEMENT ARE MISLEADING. AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE I WAS TOLD SOMETHING ELSE AND AFTER THAT THEIR IS NO PROPER RESPONSE. PReliance Big TV DTH service — deficiency in service
Hi,My Big TV subscriber id is[protected]. on 23/12/2008 I recharged my account with Rs 500 & today I called up Reliance Big TV
customer care at [protected] to activate Max Plan which has a value of Rs 393 (monthly subscription). As per customer acre
executive the max plan has been activated but even after refreshing my –top box I am not able to view any of the channels
like Filmy, Neo Sports, Zee Business etc offered under max plan.
On 24/12/2008 I called the customer care multiple times and reported the problem but haven’t got any resolution, customer
care has also logged complaint # 83929157 and assured problem resolution within 4 hours but the problem still persists.
On 25/12/2008 again I called up Big TV Customer Care multiple times stating the same problem and Customer Care executive
again logged a complaint with complaint # 83969077. This complaint was logged around 10.30 am on 25/12/2008 and Big TV
Customer Care executive told that the problem has been forwarded to Big TV technical department and problem will be closed
within 48 hours but no action has been taken till 28/12/2008.
On 28/12/2008 again I called up Big TV Customer Care multiple times stating the same problem and Customer Care Supervisor (Ms
Usha) again logged a complaint with complaint # 84267106. This complaint was logged around 11.30 am on 28/12/2008 and Big TV
again I have been assured that problem will be closed within 48 hours.
Again called customer care and told them that I am not able to view any channel offered under Max Pack, logged complaint #
84429727, on 30/12/2008 around 9 am, BigTV assured resolution by end of day 30/12/2008 but no solution provided.
On 30/12/2008 at around 1.50 pm I called customer card and as usual (for the last 4 complaints) I was told that complaint
has been closed and smart card has been refreshed, but my problem has not been resolved till date.I have already lost a week
due to ineffieicient services of Big TV.
Again on 30/12/2008 around 2.13 pm complaint #[protected]not able to view any channel) has been logged.But the problem was
closed without providing any resolution.
Again on 31/12/2008 at around 1.52 pm complaint # 84572523 has been logged and still I am awaiting problem resolution from
Big TV.
Everytime Big TV has promised that a technical engineer shall call me & visit my home for fixing the problem but no one has
called me nor visited me and the problem stands unresolved.
I think Big TV is fooling the customers and failing to provide proper services.
I want my money to be refunded and I have wasted a lot of time. Why should customer's call the customer care multiple time
and suffer for no fault of their's.
Look forward to a response & help from Consumer Court for this issue resolution

Reliance Big TV DTH Service — Transperancy and Access to my Subscription account.
Dear Sir,My Reliance Big TV DTH customer no. is[protected]. I took the DTH connection in the month of November 2008. I subscribed to some top up packages alongwith the base channel pack. But I am unable to keep track of my account and recharge. Of late inspite of charging the amount suddenly deducts.
I have complained BIG TV to either provide a log in service where i can view my account details or send me a statement.
The average time taken to contact the customer service personnel is 30-45 minutes.
Why is subscribers account not transparent like with mobile post paid or any other service?
Pls help me access my account till date from the date of subscription to the packages i have enrolled and the top up packages and my renewing amount details. I think as a customer i have the right to access my account details anytime i wish to.

Hi guys. Good news. After i put this complaint here. Reliance has embedded bigtv with reliance mobile registration and all the details are mentioned in one "my services" of any reliance usage. Way to go. Thank s for the support.
while im talking with one of the Customer Service Assoiate named Akshay at 1:06pm dated 02/12/2010 from the mobile number [protected] of Bigtv Customer Care, then he harrased me for long 28-30 minutes, and after that he wanted to talk with the customer.
when I educate him that customer not able to talk in hindi or english any language except Bengali, then he said that "customer must have able to speak in those two languages, ."
for this reason only that customer not able to speak in hindi or english, so he wasn't do the activation as per his company norms.
what ever I know that we are living in a contry named india, and as a country man we all respect all the languages all over in the country. So my question is that how a man sitting over a call centre in bombay can disrespect the other languages except our national language ??????????????????????????

Big TV DTH — Not yet activated
We purchased big tv box nearing a month. We kept calling hundreds of time for installtion .After nearly 15 days or more.Istallation was done on 235rd this month. As of now with several phones to various numbers given by various persons still our Bigtv is not activated. This is height of waiting.I really don't understand why so long. Nobody came after that.
Is this the way you people work??? This is very pathetic.I am annoyed.
We have Hathway connection from past the day it was launched.We have no problem at all .One phone call the very moment there are there at home. Becos everybody got your Bigtv so my husband bought one.If I had know earlier I would said "NO". If the activation is not done today I will go to consumer court. My smart card ID # SHYSTC[protected]
