[Resolved]  Reliance Digital, Hyderabad — high processing fee

I had purchased LG 21" CTV worth Rs 8196/- at " RELIANCE DIGITAL" Hyderabad on 3/11/2008 through ICICI creditcard .i was told that processing fee will be 2% on the total amount & was given in print on the customer copy of the swiped .

when my statement came i was surprised to see i was charged 4.15% as processing fee with an additional service tax on the processed amount. its a gross negligence & deceit of the people of reliance to their customers .i wish to bring this to ur notice &kindly do the needfull.

This is Jagannatha Rao.K from Hyderabad. I have purchased Whirlpool 330L 3-door refrigerator on 28th April, 2010 at Reliance Digital show room in ASRaoNagar Branch. Till date (to day is 12 May'10) they have not delivered the refrigerator. Every time, I inquire them, they are telling useless stories like consignment got accident, the model is not available in Whirlpool godown etc. I have lost faith on this Reliance Digital Showroom. In this context, I would appeal to all the consumers that NEVER BELIEVE RELIANCE DIGITAL SHOWROOM AND BUY GOODS WITH THEM. They are just bluffing the customers. They show interest on the customer only during the purchase, and they will leave the delivery to the dogs, the poor customer (like me) should keep roaming around them and listen their stories. They are CHEATERS.
I HAVE PURCHASED A GODREJ (OTG) ON 13/06/2010. ON OPENING THE CARTON ACCESSORIES LIKE GRILL AND OTHERS WERE NOT THERE, I IMMEDIATELY CALLED THE EXECUTIVE AT RELIANCE DIGITAL BANJARA HILLS, HYD. MY CALL WAS TRANSFERED TO ANOTHER EXECUTIVE AND THIS CHAIN OF CALL TRANSFERS WENT ON TILL FOUR TO FIVE EXECUTIVES SPOKE TO ME AND FINALLY A REPLY CAME SAYING THEY WILL GET BACK TO ME IN FIVE MINUTES. EVEN AFTER A DAY PASSED THERE WAS NO FEEDBACK.. MOREOVER WE HAD TO ASK PEOPLE TO ATTEND US WHILE OUR VISIT. I HAD LOT OF EXPECTECTATIONS BUT !!!. PLEASE DO THE NEEDFUL. -

I purchase a rechargeable batteries and charger at Sec Reliance store and i dint check whether charger is working at the time of purchasing. I directly used the batteries for a month when i try to charge those batteries charge was not working. when i went to reliance store they told me they have to send this piece to chennai. and i will take 10 working days and not sure what they will do. I had a pathetic experience purchasing from reliance store. This is my sincere advice to our brothers and sisters who are planning to buy anything from Reliance pls think.

actually this is a business to be done by small dealers. here Amabanis thing they can mint money. they pay high salaries to story tellers in Bombay and they keep pushing thru their stroes. showing they are big they bargain better margins (than TMC or Rajkamal) and the sellers like Samsung/ LG / Godrej would not be much interested in selling to them but for orders from their Head Offices.

locally then engage some one on electornic fields who ever applies and they don't have knowledge to explain. TMC has sales guys who explain everything. Reliance attracts people like you and me by dazzling glass, lighting, parking, and discounts. for this you need to pay.
so don't buy long term products like AC, fridge etc. buy only ready to use things like cell phones, etc. or all what you could use.
also the store is big with less staff, so they can't attend all the complaints. they negotiate with LG /Onida, Samsung that with out serivce make the sale as Reliance would take care of that.
but Reliance has not geared up there, as they pay less salaries, so who stays - all incompetent people stay. they spoil your item also.

I had purchased Lenovo G560 notepad from Reliance Digital on 9th June 2010. Would suggest all 'PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM RELIANCE DIGITAL'

Its been so many months and still these people haven't registered my Laptop with the Lenovo neither I was given any instruction on registering with them. Within months o[censored]se, my Laptop isnt working. Plus when I visited the shop they gave me wrong information on going directly to Lenovo CC @ Ameerpet when they themselves didnt register the product with the company.

Hope this is an eye opener to all who want to purchase products at Reliance.
Purchased LCD/LED TV, delivered on the same day.
Dead on arrival and support personal promissed to replace in 48 hour.
Followin up for a week for replacement.
Everytime a new person speaks and promises to replace the next day.
Nextday he/she does not take the call and someone else does the same.

Horrible experience.

This is A.Padmalatha.I have recently purchased a samsung split ac at reliance digital banjara hills hyderabad on 23-3-12 i.e friday.I was told that the installation would be done within 48 hrs of the delivery but no one has turned up yet.Yesterday after many calls to the office, two people have come to my residence @ 7:30 in the evening and I was told that the installation would take around 5 hrs and they said that they would come today in the evening but they failed to turn up.They ignored my calls and I recieved a call from the head office which said that the installation people cannot make it today.This is really embarassing as this poor customer service of Reliance Digital is really disgusting.They only show interest during the purchase and after sale service is really bad!.So, I appeal to all the browsers of this website that never ever buy electronic appliances from this shop!!.
Reliance at NSM centrum is a too bad servicing centre... I gave my SONY laptop to the service centre on 8-7-2013 with OS problem under RESQ plan warranty... They returned the lappy with out completing the problem on[protected]... Since two weeks what they did I dont Know... I have been tired to hear their excuses & I never get a proper response from the service.. Whenever I had cal or I went to the service centre, they are always says " the technecian is not there".. I didnt get for how long they delay the work for completing OS problem... Please do the needful job for me...
