[Resolved]  Reliance General Insurance — Non receipt of insurance papers

For my car insurance i called a Reliance Insurance agent by the name of NIPUN[protected] to my residence and gave him cheque no. 501422 dated 19/10/2007 on 18/10/2007 for the insurance of my car. But till date i neither received the cover note nor the policy. I filed a complaint with the Reliance call centre (Comp. No. 225351) before Diwali but till date no action is taken. Later i emailed a complaint on the Reliance Address. It was acknowledged but nothing was received. On 28/11/2007 a person by the name of Deepak[protected] rang me up and told me that he is sending the cover-note by courier but till date nothing is received and his mobile is not responding. Now it is more than 1 and half month when the cheque in the name of Reliance was handed over to the agent but not even a cover note is received.
I am unable to drive the car for want of papers and am waiting all the time at home for the receipt of the requisite papers.

Non-receipt of policy document after constant follow up
Reference: policy/cover note:[protected];[protected]

I have yet to receive my policy document.The soft copy sent through mail after constant follow-up shows wrong address as 3-5/65 Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi.

The Correct address should be :Block:B5 House No:65, First Floor, Near UNESCO Office, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi-110029.

Minimum 10 times reminders telephonically have been sent to dealing branch at Netaji Subhash Place, Pitampura, Delhi-110034. Brought personally to the attention of Ms POOJA and Branch Manager Mr Nitin R.Thakur.

Can somebody in the organisation help me please.

i have had a super investment automatic plan policy under policy no:a-4545151 which i surrendered on 27th of april 2009. and the cheque of that payment which was to be disbursed to me out of that has not been recieved by me.
kindly get it done as soon as possible.
I'm bilochan lal i've been informing the personals of reliance general insurance that i did'nt get my receipt of my car insurane since past january 13 of this year.I'm so fed up of their irresponsible services.

ALSO khushi told me that i would be getting vaccuum cleaner if i'll renew MY CAR insurance before time from reliance general insurance BUT THEY NEITHER GAVE ME CAR INSURANCE RECEIPT NOR THE VACCUUM CLEANER.

I want to bring it into your kind notice that I am being harassed by your office at SCO 212-214 1st floor Sector 34 A Chandigarh. Mr. Mahinder is dealing the case of my claim. I have submitted documents for claim of motorcycle which was theft on 24.10.2008. I also surrendered the original key set No. 2 and a original copy of final untraceable report issued U/s 173 CRPC to the your above mentioned office on 06.03.2009. It was submitted by hand and I got receipt by official of your office but on date 16.03.2009 I received a letter from your office to provide the things which I already had provided to them on 06.03.2009. In this way and other the company is harassing me. Please direct your office to cooperate with me and claim be provided to me at the earliest.

pls issue my new chq with correct name

I have taken reliance general insurance and my son was admitted for a surgery which cost around 16k. Now the TPA (Medi-Assist) has approved for only 9500 and does not give a genuine reason of why charges like Operation Theatre and surgeon charges which cost around 12000 of the bill is not covered. They simply say it is in the policy and i do not see anything in the policy written to that effect.

Please be careful when you take insurance policies with them. Do not know how are the others in the market in this segment. Gonna be careful before I pay the insurance amount next week.

TPA Call center guys do not give any details about the policy and also are adamant when speaking.

Please be careful again.
i am a advicer of your company (reliance gen ins) . i want to launch a claim against my coustmer name MR Piare lal but when i call on your coll centre no[protected] then a man pick a phone. and i give him all the details of my accident and policy no and my vehicle.He said to hold the phone for 2min .but i hold for 10min.HE was not give me any claim no.Then the time was 6.04pm date was 22.5.09.when i call him again thae the other person pick the phone igive him all details and said for claim no .HE say your claim is launched and i give you the claim no pls hold the phone for 2min.I hold for ten min he never give any ans then the phone is again dissconnected.Then i call third time .Then the phone pick by a lady she says any claim is not launchad against this policy.the covernote no is *[protected]*.This is not good for our company.when they treat with us like this then how they treat with simple costumers. pls ans.And what is the about our .what the costumer think about us?

very bad service for there employee or else customer, the employee cutting is very musch higher ratio basis..also maximum in offroll they could not get there PF, salary in time.
This is regarding the comprehensive insurance of my car Tata Indica no DL-4CU-5811 done by reliance general insurance vide policy no[protected] dated 3/6/2009.In this policy the name of insured should be MR NIKUNJ BINDAL instead of MRS NIKUNJ BINDAL . Kindly rectify this mistake in your records and send the amended copy of the cover note at my registration address 167 kAILASH HILLS NEW DELHI -65 at the earliest.The agency code is 283513.

Reliance General Insurance — Refund for the transaction charges

I tried booking a reliance travel care for schengen policy through their wedsite online. As a result transaction charges were dudcted but my policy was not booked at all. I found from their customer care they confirm me that their is no such booking but transaction charges were cut from debit card.

Since then I registered my complaints to reliance care man a times but it is not yet resolved and they have not refunded me the policy charges. They are not giving any satisfactory response and postponing this case repeatedly.

This insurance company is a big time cheater. There should be a action against it.

I got my Santro GLS car insured with your company vide cheque no.672232, dated 24/07/09 issued on syndicate bank, new delhi through your agent Mr. KK mobile no. Reliance General Insurance — Voluntry deductible clause

We originally got our car No. DL3CAX 3079 insured at time of purchase from Reliance General Insurence. & got it renewed from them on[protected].
We filed a claim for car repair on 9.03.2009 and were told by surveyer that policy was renewed with clause of Voluntry deductible, meaning we will have to pay Rs.5000.00 out of total repair charges. As we were never informed about this clause at time of renewal we met and wrote to the insurence co. yo wave this clause but got no response till date. We request you to look into the matter.
