    HI

    I renewed my policy on 5.2.2010 ([protected] ) and paid Rs.11429 through ABN AMRO bank but still now I have not received the policy documents.

    I have contacted your reliance office so many times nothing is happening.

    They have sent me a soft copy in that they have mentioned Period as 12.2.2010 to 11.2.2012
    but in Expiry place they have mentioned as 11.2.2010 instead of 11.2.2012.
    I do not know how such mistakes are happening in Reliance......

    So kindly send the documents soft as well as hardcopy as early as possible .

    Reliance — Not received Docs

    I have not recieved the courier send from Reliance containing General Insurance Docs.
    AWB number is -[protected]. Again another one was send whose AWB No is-[protected].Both has not been recieved and I am facing problem from 3 months .Kindly communicate the status to me on the gaiven details.

      I got my M/Cycle HR 51 AB 6624 Yamaha make repaired through accident claim from Reliance general Insurance in Jan'2010. After making so many calls to Dealer & Surveyor Mr Ajay Singh Rawat and even writing mails and telephonic calls to Customer Care, still I didn't get my payment back. Surveyor says that he forwarded all the documents but in net when i checked even today also it is showing pending status of documents. It is almost going to be two months now. Let me know if there is no such solutions for the customer even after making complaints to reliance also, then I furhter proceed to Consumer cell. My earlier complaint nos are 1017026 dt. 09/03/2010 & 1021354 dt 11/03/10

        i have called one of your insurance agent to my home for my car insurance , name ashok kumar ([protected]) given him the cheque no. (459981) dated 24/11/09 there agency code (21BRG203) he send me the cover note at wrong address i want my cover note at the address (D 21 jawahar park khanpur new delhi 110062 ) i have called that person so many times he always give some new reason, the cover note given by him[protected] is valid till 31 march.

          My 4 wheeler Mahindra Logan (Vehicle No MH 04 DR 2832) was vandalised in my society VIjaypark, GB Road Thane, by apraing acid and thereby causing the paint to come off. I had deposited the vehicle in Mahindra Global Gallerie Workshop and registered the claim with Reliance General Insurance. My Policy details are:

          Name : Dilip Aravamudhan
          Policy Number: [protected], Date of Loss: 01/03/2010, Date of Intimation: 02/03/2010, Claim Reference No: [protected]

          As of date they are still to update me the status of my claim. They have orally informed e that the claim will be rejected. The reason being, I have claimed a No Claim Bonus in my previous policy which I was not entitled to. I am at a loss to understand how did the Insurance company not check the facts before issuing the policy with No Claim Bonus. I am put to immense mental pressure and agony. Ultimatly, I am spendin around Rs 30000/- from my pocket to ffot these expenses which is ideally covered under insurance. The company has proved its purpose of cheating the customers under the name of service.

            Sir,

            Sub: Mediclaim Reimbursement of Claim No. 4655476 under Policy No. 1305/[protected] of Reliance General Insurance under TPA
            Medi Assist India Pvt.Ltd., New Delhi.

            I am policy holder of Relainace Healthwise Policy Gold Plan which was cashless policy. Here, I have submitted all the documents for reimbursement of claim of my daughter Baby Vanshika Johri on 06th January, 2010 due to TPA (name mentioned above) was not allowed for cashless facilities and to pay cash. Now, there was appoximately two months passed, there is no proper response from the TPA and also Reliance Insurance people. I am really fed up with TPA response by saying that ' claim is in a process and it will be done soon on my every call. So, please instruct the concerned peoples to settle my claim at the earliest.

            Your intervene is necessary to settle this claim as I am private employee and have no enough money to survive my family properly.

            You are humbly request to lookinto this matter to get it done earliest.

            Reliance — DELAYED FOR REIMBURSEMENT

            Dear Sir,

            I am Suresh From Chennai I was taking family mediclaim cover policy in relience by end of 2008. MY Policy NO.[protected]

            from 2008 onwards till the i am not used that policy at any cirumstance

            unfortunatly my wife was admited in a haspital 31st Aug related ectopic pregnancy
            i got confirmation in chennai TPA for coverege. their agree for the coverage i informed to TPA that time TPA person came to hospital Their verified all those thins whether we are ther or not complaint of the patient eventhough everything is true only but my casheless was rejeted till idont know the reason. that time that peopl told me that apply for reimbursemnt. I discharged my wife on date of 4th sep tember.

            I submitted all the original documents related to hospital and original Bills also to Chennai TPA office when i submiting that TPA people are tole the processing time hardly 20days but it is taken one month still i dont get any information fromtheir side.

            i am fedu with their service so i kindly request you please involve this issue and solve my problem and help me to get my 37000/-Rs. reimbursement.

            i think they people and that organisation make all citizens as fool please dont alow them for chet the people .

              Sub :(Cancellation of claim for admitting in I.C.U)

              Dear

              Sir/madam,

              I was admitted in Yashoda Hospital GhaziabAd U.P in november 2009 due to high deangue feaver in which my blood platelets decreases to 30000/ hospital admitted to me in ICU department for 3 days and then transferred me to common room it cost me 50000/rs .
              I have cash less reliance mediclaim policy , company rejected to pay cashless to hospital as they have promised to me while buying the policy and said to me you should pay the bill we will reimburse to you i paid bill of 50000/ rs but now they have rejected my claim by giving the reason .It is not required for you to admit in ICU hospital has charged admitted you to make money .
              So is it my fault that hospital has admitted me in ICU.

              I have submitted all my original bills and papers with Mediassist ,(Reliance general TPA ) on time .

              Please help me as i am a small service man i have buyied this policy that it will help me when i will need it .But they are making fool of peoples by not paying legal claims .

              Same thing happened with my father. He was having Reliance Healthwise Gold Policy for the last two years.We were told firstly that my claim was accepted. After two days of admissiom we were told that our claim was rejected. I filled the Claim with Mediassist(TPA). But getting NO RESPONSE from them

                  Reliance General Insurance — two wheeler

                  the reliance genreal insurance is chaeter who are cheting with customer, i had comprehensive insurance with reliance but when it comes for the claims they pass only 30% of the total expendiure and that amount too not creditd in my account yet after 2 months.

                    I am having a real Nightmare dealing with Reliance general insurance. I have tried contacting multiple people with the local claims department, but to no avail, they never answer the phones. Logged complaint with the reliance customer care, was assured a resolution within 7 days, and now even after 20 days of logging the complaint, i still don't have a resolution.
                    I tried calling the customer care again, and was kept on hold for 20 minutes by the representative while he was connecting me to supervisor, i spoke to some supervisor, she put me on hold again and then disconnected the call. I didn't give up, I called again, asked for a supervisor, was kept on hold again, this time 30 minutes and i was again disconnected..
                    I have sent multiple emails to them, have attached them all, Never got a response, when i did get a responce, it was the standard template used in the call center, mentioning that we are working on the issue, please have patience, HOW DO THEY EXPECT ME TO HAVE PATIENCE AFTER 1 MONTH, for a claim settlement of just Rs.18000 when i was promised cashless service at the time of getting the policy.

                    Following are the emails i sent to Reliance:
                    I have sent multiple emails regarding this claim([protected]), but to no avail. I have tried contacting the surveyor, as well as some other people at the local claims departments, but they never pick up the phone. This is really frustrating, after a month and a half when the claim was initiated.
                    The documents were handed over to the surveyor more than a month back by Pearl Honda, I don't know what the surveyor is upto and why the file has not been submitted by him yet. I doubt if he has mis placed the documents by now and he had all the originals.

                    The total amount billed was Rs.17567 (Pearl Honda) and Rs. 2363 (Kumra Motors, Manimajra, Chandigarh).

                    I never expected this kind of delay from Reliance insurance. and i wonder if there are so many hassles and so much running around for a claim of mere 18-20,000, God forbid if there is a major accident, then what the company would do???


                    Today also i was on hold with Reliance insurance customer care for 30 minutes, twice and was disconnected by the people there both the times, they just kept me on hold, stating that they are connecting to some senior, and then i was disconnected. It was really frustrating to hold for 30 minutes and then just get disconnected.

                    Try to understand that i made the payment on a credit card and i am bearing interest on the same, i wonder who is going to bear that interest.

                    I had sent emails earlier too, never got a response, even now i don't have much hopes, but this email too is for my record and proof of harassment by reliance.

                    If anyone reads this email, kindly provide some contact detail, some one who can help me settle all this, or i may have to go the legal way.

                    I had gone through ur claim process of my car in dec 2009. as per the policy it was cashless but the time of claim dealer refused for cashless they said tie up is broken.
                    They are lucknow’s pioneer dealers of TATA MOTORS (Motor General sales. Charbagh ) . so however I paid the total amount in cash to the dealer for my car after wards they sent my papers to reliance GIC for claim . Ur co took very long time to send me then claim chq but the moment I had lodged the chq to my bank it got bounced with the reason stop payment by payee as I got penalized with bounce charges to my account. Now despite of so many calls to ur call centre I am not getting the right answer or the status of my chq they have just provided the complaint no:- 926598 . every time same ans call after seven days u will get to know the status. claim is just for 18000.00 rupees

                    Extremely sorry to say, the responce from the staff is very poor and noncooperative. We always look at Reliance company with great respect and honour. But the behaviour of your employees who are handling our case namely Abhishek and Mr Manoj Bansod is not what we as customer we will be looking forward.

                    first Mr abhishek only called us for claim discussion latter he is in a very insulting way saying i dont want to waste my time.
                    We new to all insurance terms when asked him meaning of word repudiation.. very rudely he replied that i am not here to teach you insuance act.

                    Me and my father went who is of age72 years went for that meeting., I felt very bad the way we being treated.
                    Also he made sure to humiliate when we asked for the our own policy document, ... saying to me that we dont share, it is our company cost control measure .. Latter on request he forced us to write a letter in his favour for getting the same.

                    He intentionaly took elaborate time to humiliate and make us frusted.
                    After all above further to addition he shared a print where 3 pages were merged to one ... which was for a common person next to impossible to read.

                    I shared my personal mail id saying i will take print .. for same i am still waiting.

                    For every item of claim Mr manoj and Abhishek were bargaing as if it is not less then a fish and subji market.

                    Not enough then above all they were telling us the rule of TAT of 15 days and. fail to understand why on the last day when we were not in fault we got so much of gyan.

                    Further to above he said lets settle somewhere .. so that he wont face any audit remark... and my case wont go for higher authorities

                    Failed to understand such a big company can create so many tantrum for claim amount of Rs 19000/-.
                    We as typical indian middle class people still going to your representive to take pain.


                    Hope my complaint will get noticed that how so called king customer is taking pain .

                    Hi I am Rajesh from Tundla Firozabad (UP).I have similar experience with Reliance General Insurance.1. My Pol No. [protected]-Rajesh Ranjan Singh.
                    2. I underwent Hospitalization from 08.08.2010 to 10.08.2010.
                    3. TPA MS PARAMOUNT was informed immediately for cashless access.
                    4. Vide PHS ID 12289502 CCN 1693894 subject TPA asked several documents and kept decision pending till last finally denying cashless access at the time of my discharge and I had to borrow the amount for paying the hospital bill.
                    5. I was asked to submit claim for reimbursement –which I did on 22.08.2010.
                    6. CCN 1711410, the TPA issued me Deficiency letter on 27.09.10 asking documentsinformation necessary for processing my claim which was sent by me promptly.
                    7. After receiving the above TPA again issued one more deficiency letter on 17.11.10.
                    8. This too was replied by me on 24.11.10.
                    9. Nothing happened for two months further when Sri Devesh said to be the representative of Ms Probus Associates came to my office and took my statement and another set of claim documents on 27.02.2011.
                    10. It has been more than six months I incurred expenses on my hospitalization covered under above referred policy but the claim is yet to settled. My previous remindercalls could not receive any response.

                      I had booked a car with Sunrise Motors in November 2008.
                      (Showroom : Plot No. 2, I.P. Extension, Opp. Pandav Nagar, (near Mother Dairy), New Delhi - 110 092.)

                      The loan was rejected hence I requested for the cancellation. Sunrise refunded the portion of money they had kept however referred me back to Reliance General Insurance to recover the part of money paid for the Car Insurance which I never bought.

                      Since November 2008, I have been chasing and requesting Reliance General Insurance executives to refund the money and inreturn only got assurances that it will be done within next few days.
                      Its been over 1 year now but the next few days have yet not come.

                      Can someone Please help me recover my money.

                      Reliance General Insurance — non-refund of premium for cancelled policies

                      I have purchased two Overseas Mediclaim policies (for visit to USA and Canada) from the Reliance General Insurance Company online. Then policies were cancelled online before commancement of journy and also start of policy date. Despite a lot of followup with company refund is still awaited.
                      Company on their site says that policies can be cancelled online before commancement of journy and refund of the premium will be made automatically.
                      particular of the policies follows
                      1.sri. Vijiay Gundapwar policy no.[protected] paids Rs.11620 on 28/03/09.
                      the transaction referance MSBI[protected]G06552824 amount credited to [protected].

                      2.sau. Jayashri Gundapwar policy no.[protected] paids Rs.8792 on 9/04/09.
                      the transaction referance MSBI[protected]G06795555 amount credited to [protected].

                      The policy starts dates were 24/25th april 2009.

                      Due to the unfortunate accident of family members we have droped our programm and cancelled the policies online on 22 april 2009 and requested for refund of premium.

                      Since then we are following the matter with Reliance General Insurance customer service but till date nothing is received, it appears that the company has swalloed the my money some of their complaint nos. are 316791, 323792, 339046, 363008. email sends 12-15 and call to sevice centeres arounr 25 times. talek with executives 4-5 times. no one taking and initiative why the refund was affected automatically online.

                      Reliance General Insurance — Refund of cancelled polocies.

                      Reliance General Insurance and particularly its Customer service cell is full of and useless peoples. I observed that the foolishness increases as per the grade of the executives. The simplest issue of refund of premium of canceled policies is still unsolved [since 22/04/09]. My complaint were registered more than ten times every time they afforded me new complaint number and a warning " not to contact before 7 days". The policies were purchased online and also canceled online within commencement date.
                      I talked so many peoples[of Customer support] on different occasions. I have also send the complaint by Regd post to Customer Support and Chairman too. Nothing, even a simple acknowledgment is received by me. The cheater company shallowed my 20000 Rs.. There is no any channel to report the matter to the higher ups since Customer support/help line is the only way to approach them. Do not purchase any product of Reliance General Insurance.
                      I completely agree...I hv purchased a policy last month...

                      Help line number does not work...no email comm enabled...

                      It looks like complete blackout...

                      Reliance General Insurance Ltd — Non payment of Refund Money on policy cancellation

                      I got my car Wagon R Insured from Reliance General Insurance through their Corporate Agent M/s Carnation India ( a co promoted by ex-ceo of Maruti Sazuki India Limited) in the month of Dec 2009. I sold my car in June 2010 without selling the insurance & got my car's third party insurance done for the buyer. Reliance Insurance Co firstly declined to transfer my old insurance to my new car so i applied for the cancellation for the refund of the insurance premium on my cancelled policy to Amritsar Office located at Ranjit Avenue,Amritsar in the month of Aug, 2010 & since then co official are neither issuing me my refund nor telling me the status of the case. One Mr Kayshap who is dealing the case never picks his contact no & whenever he picks his cell he is always with the same reply that he is calling within 10 minutes & this thing is happening for the last so many days.

                          As per FAQ notice no. 19 on EPFO website , in case employer not forwarding our PF withdrawl request to EPFO , we can attest forms from any gazetted officer & can send directly to EPFO. But as per instruction , did same but my forms rejectd by EPFO & return back to my employer without any intimation on 17.11.2009 , so plz suggest me how can i claim my PF , which is accumulated in Government account .                             but after transaction i did not got any acknoledgement from company

                            i contected to their call center and also i wrote an email to the company in this regard

                            but they are saying if money is deducted then i will get the policy by curier with in 10 days

                            but till now i could not got any thing by post.

                            the call center operator are saying that they can not trace online transaction.

                                I had a Pulser 150cc bike which was purchase in 2005 from Aligarh, that bike was theft on 6th May 2008 from G. Noida (UP), So according to the Police procedure I have given a application for the same and after 1 week furnish a proper FIR to the Kasna Police station, Greater Noida (UP). But due to my mistake I didn`t inform to the Reliance General Insurance Co. Ltd. customer care (Bike was insured with RGICL) but 3 month 14 days later I informed to the RGICL customer care and they have also registered my complaint via Claim No.[protected], then RGICL send a surveyer for my case and surveyer start his process and ask for document what he want. I have submited all the documents which was demanded then time spends approx 2 to 3 months when I ask to surveyer for my CASE he said now you ask to company i.e. RGICL I have submit my report to RGICL but till now I dont know what is the status of my claim even when I ask to on phone RGICL local office which was situated at Okhla, N. Delhi, they gave me some excuses somthing now I transfered to Aligarh (UP). Regarding the same I have mailed too on email id (services.[protected]@relianceada.com) So help me how can I take my claim from Reliance. I will be very thankful to you.

                                      I had subscribed to this policy in 2007 via Mr. Vipin of M/s Bajaj Capital and thereafter renewed the same in 2008 vide the same company. I had handed over the cheque for the same to a Bajaj Capital representative on12/2/2009. Attached is the official receipt of Bajaj Capital Ltd. indicating that cheque no. 623405 dated 11/02/2009 drawn on Citibank was handed over to their official on 12/2/2009.

                                      To my surprise and extreme embarrassment, I had presented my Reliance Healthwise Card at Max Devki Devi Super Speciality Hospital towards the admission of my son, I was told that my policy had expired. This was not only the most embarrassing moment but also extremely stressful as I had to make alternate arrangements to pay towards the hospitalisation expenses. On following up and creating a login at the Reliance General Insurance website (samrat.[protected]@gmail.com), I learnt that this policy indeed expired on 13/02/2009.

                                      When my executive followed with the staff at Bajaj Capital, I was told the Reliance had rejected the renewal of my policy 2 months after its renewal date (sometime in April 2009) stating that they have discontinued the Gold Plan. I have also followed up with RGICL by leaving an offline message on your live chat application as per my email below.

                                      "I was very surprised to learn that the above policy has not been renewed by our Agent Bajaj Capital Ltd. On contacting Bajaj Capital I was told that Reliance General Insurance had rejected the renewal of this policy sometime in April 2009, while I had given the cheque for the same to Bajaj Capital in February 2009 itself. I would like to know as to WHY my policy was denied renewal so that I can take up the matter with the appropriate authorities. This has left me in a very embarassing situation when my son was admitted in Max Devki Devi Hospital and I was told that my insurance has expired."

                                      I also attach a copy of my policy with this email.

                                      On speaking with RGICL call center executives at 39898282 and [protected] (Ms.Supriya) I find it extremely surprising that nobody was able to provide me with a fax number to fax my complaint. All I was told was that there is NO fax no. to contact RGICL. This is indeed the height o[censored]nprofessionalism.

                                      What I would like to know from RGICL / Bajaj Capital's end is:

                                      1. Was my policy denied renewal in February 2009 (as stated by Bajaj Capital)?
                                      2. If yes, then why was I not intimated about the same as I am the customer who would suffer the trauma in case of emergency?
                                      3. If no, then WHY was my policy not renewed in February 2009?

                                      I also stand to lose on the following grounds due to the non-renewal of my policy:

                                      1. the amounts I paid for year 1 and year 2 have been wasted.
                                      2. the benefits that would have accrued to me from the 3rd year, would now no longer be valid.
                                      3. I would now be a fresh applicant with a fresh mediclaim policy if I plan to take one.
                                      4. Apart from the above 3 points, the non-renewal of my policy has caused me the greatest stress, humiliation and embarrassment at the hospital.

                                      Reliance General Insurance — refuse to renew policy

                                        This is in reference to the motor insurance from RELIANCE GENERAL INSURANCE i had taken Cashless policy on dated 20.03.09 of Reliance, at the time of policy the agent has told me that this policy is cashless, but when the car was damaged and given to repair at KTL workshop in Lucknow it was told that policy is not cashless.

                                        So please look into the matter so resolve the problem.So that no one can diched by agents. If the problem will not be solved i can go to the court for further action.
