[Resolved]  Reliance General Insurance — Non receipt of insurance papers

For my car insurance i called a Reliance Insurance agent by the name of NIPUN[protected] to my residence and gave him cheque no. 501422 dated 19/10/2007 on 18/10/2007 for the insurance of my car. But till date i neither received the cover note nor the policy. I filed a complaint with the Reliance call centre (Comp. No. 225351) before Diwali but till date no action is taken. Later i emailed a complaint on the Reliance Address. It was acknowledged but nothing was received. On 28/11/2007 a person by the name of Deepak[protected] rang me up and told me that he is sending the cover-note by courier but till date nothing is received and his mobile is not responding. Now it is more than 1 and half month when the cheque in the name of Reliance was handed over to the agent but not even a cover note is received.
I am unable to drive the car for want of papers and am waiting all the time at home for the receipt of the requisite papers.

Hamne ek dath claim relaince general insurance (pravasi ) diyaya tha. 5 months hoke gaya vaha Mr. jitendra shah hai usko states ke bareme puchte hai to aaj batatahu kal batatahu asisa kahake phone band kar deta hai aur bad me phone utatahi nahi hai . ye relaince wale claime dene ke wakt aisa kyo karate hai ?
My Client, Mr. Sadhu Dhas was expired and then on their death, claim of Rs. 1, 00, 000/- was due to the legal heir Ashabai Sadhu Dhas. The company had issued the cheque for claim dated 20/03/09but it was reached to the clien after six months????????

Then the client had deposited the cheque with the Reliance General Insurance Co Ltd Mumbai office with the person named Manish Joshi having Mob No. [protected] on 12/10/2009. But till date my client has not received the cheque or the payorder in lieu of the cheque deposited to the office by us.

The cheque no. was : 139818, Drawn on HDFC Bank Ltd Mumbai Branch, dated 20/03/2009.
Please do some help to the client, her husband was the only earning person in her family...

i kassamali like 2 request u that policy no[protected] not benn issue till to day ,i have been given complent no of present n pr-evespoliy 1123734 but the answer was that it mind been our mistake on telephonice conv.all customers R wrong.so i request reponsible man to look into the matter n kindly do the needful n satisfy the customer or u want 2 stop the policy in feature n u want fill any thing bad.because u r big industrial
only big name in the country but service is very poor, mint money of poor people

Reliance General Insurance — POD-Em 155111817 not recd

I had sent a speed post vide POD no-EM[protected] on 17 may 2010 but same is not received till date.Not only i have lost the business but also the promise made to my clients.I had full faith in govt postage departemnt but it has last in few days.I hope my complain would be seriously taken into account and measures would be taken.

Reliance General Insurance — Increasing the premium 5 fold than the existing

3 years back I have taken health wise policy(Policy No.[protected]) from reliance general insurance.So far i have pain 3 premiums(around Rs.6000.00 every time).Last week I have received a letter from the company stating that the premium is increased to 27586.They have also given a toll free No to contact for the further clarifications.
On 06/06/10 at 1.55 PM i have called the customer care for getting the clarification for this increase.The said that there is no specific reason behind this and advised me to call Hyderabad branch.
I have trusted reliance and took policy 3 yrs back.All of certain they are increasing the premium to 457%.I have not expected really such thing from reputed Reliance insurance.I can.t afford this money.Looking forward to pay the same premium amount in coming years.Please do the needfu.

Reliance General Insurance — Car Insurance

I have Reliance insurance for my one year old car,last week it has got one accident and there was damage from front and rear,Surveyor of Reliance insurance informed me that these damages are not in single accident so he cannot pass the same,but during giving th epolicy their agent informed as this is a cashless service and Reliance is best.
BUT RELIANCE INSURANCE IS A WORST INSURANCE COMPANY AND I AM WITHDRAWING INSURANCE FROM RELIANCE AND GOING FOR SOME OTHER GOVT INSURANCE OPTION FOR ALL MY THREE CARS.EVEN FOR MY 18 OFFICE CARS GOING TO CHANGE.FULLY DISSATISFIED BY RELIANCE.

Reliance General Insurance — Policy Renewed with incorrect Plan

Hi All,



I had received a call from one of your agents to get my policy (#[protected] renewed.

I was charged Rs 9000 earlier for policy and was told I don’t claim anything in the two

Years than I will be charged less premium at the time of renewal.



The agent told me that due to some change in the govt policy the renewal charges have gone

Up. I still agreed to renew my old policy (Gold Plan) by paying Rs 12000.



After three weeks when I received the hard copy of the insurance renewal , to my surprise

The enrollment was done incorrectly in the Standard Plan.



I immediately called you customer service one week back but the agent said the systems were not

Working and asked me to call back. I requested him to arrange a call back from his side . The agent agreed

But I did not receive a call back. Then I called back after two days to the customer service once again and spoke to

Jyoti . It seems she did not understand my issue and was not able to give me satisfactory answer. I was kept on hold

A number of times saying the systems were running slow. It is a shame that when ever I call up your customer service,

They are always running slow or are not working.



Then I asked for a manager which was a horrible experience . It seems first of all no one is ready to transfer the call to a

Manager. Then it seems no manager is ready to take escalation calls. It took nearly more than 30 min to get transferred

To Gurmeet who was of no help at all as he also did not understand my case at all. Then I asked for his manager which

Again took nearly 30 mins to get . Gurmeet was also very adamant to transfer the call to his manager.



Then I got transferred to Ranjit . He seemed to understand a little bit of my problem. He offered a solution to get the policy corrected

And transferred me back to Jyothi to get the same processed. I gave my telephone number where I was supposed to receive a call back.



In this who scenario , it seems no complaint number was generated which I suppose is a mandatory to track a complaint.



The next day after waiting for a long time I called up the customer service and spoke to another agent who listened to me

And logged a complaint for me. That is then I asked for my yesterday’s complaint number and what was happening to

Yesterday complaint which I had made.



To my utter disbelief , no one new of my yesterday complaint and no one new what was happening on the account

Then I asked for the manager I had spoken to yesterday. Again after more than 30 mins I was transferred to Gurmeet.



To my more utter disbelief even Gurmeet was not aware of what Ranjit had informed me n the previous call and what was being

Done on my complaint. Even Ranjit had not documented the resolution in the account.



Requesting you to please investigate what has happened to my insurance policy and the same to be corrected in priority basis.



I had in the meantime also called my bank and confirmed with then that their partnership with reliance insurance has ended

And the agent who called me to enroll for the renewal was from reliance and not ABN Amro bank (Now Royal Bank of Scotland NV).

reliance general insurance two wheeler insurance — misbehavior by the executives in the office

I had taken a two wheeler insurance policy on 1st june 2010. the cheque was issued by me on this day and subsequently cleared owithin 13 - 14 th of June,2010. the executive in the office ( himalaya house, 8 th floor) informed me that the policy will reach my place within three months however if i want i can collect it from their office personally within 7 days. I waited for 3 months for the policy to reach my place, but nothing came in, so i decided to collect it myself. On 17th september, 2010 I visited their office to collect my policy certificate, I was harrassed badly by their executives. they were of the opinion that it was my fault as to why I did not collect it earlier and they refused to give me the policy certificate. When confronted and challenged they did give me my certificate but they made me appologised for no fault of mine forcefully, a number of their office staff came out in the customer's lobby and harrassed me and tried to prove me wrong. My question is , Is this the way They treat their customers? Mr. AMBANI ARE U LISTENING? I want this complaint to reach the concerned authorities so that appropriate action may be taken as early as possible and that no one faces the same problem again. they were really very rude to me. I don't wish to take any services from Reliance henceforth.

The Judgment is delivered on 17.09.2009 for Rs. 4, 42, 740/- only as compensation. But, the said amount has not yet deposited. The name of the claimant is Smt. Junnu Das and insured is Sher Singh. Reliance General Insurance — unsettled claim

I had my car insurance with reliance general insurance. i had launched my claim in sep 2010 and my claim number is [protected].. i had called many times at reliance delhi office and at their toll free number but i havent got any response from them.. they are just fooling me..i request you to please take any relevant action against them..

Reliance General Insurance — Exorbitant increase in premium for Reliance HealthWise Policy - Silver Plan

Respected sir,

We have a Reliance HealthWise Policy - Silver Plan from last 3 years. The policy number is [protected]. The premium charged last year was Rs 6989 and this year they are charging Rs 26016. In Oct 2009 my Dad had met with an accident and we had claimed medical expenses which were reimbursed. After that in march 2010 we were charged with a premium of Rs 6989 which also was 20 to 30% more than the premium we paid in March 2009. They said that this increase was due to the claim that we made so we accepted the increase in the premium and paid it. This year they have increased it from Rs 6989 to Rs 26016 which is a increase of 372%. We had no claim last year i.e. from march 2010 to till date.

So I think that this premium hike of 372% is unjustified. however we would still like to continue this policy as my dad's age is 63 yrs and this policy now even covers existing diseases.

on 21/06/2011 i have given them the reason on bank letter head they sad with in 15 days

I have talk with your BMS MR.ASHISH MISHRA LUCKNOW he saying that your policy can not be cancel and third party amount will be deducted or some other deductions willl be charged
now after 1 month they are saying this

And your customer care no.[protected] they are saying that with in 30days if we received a requeat then only 20% will be deducted so i have given the request to Lucknow branch on 21/06/2011

So please look into the matter and refund my full amount and reply
