Hi,

I took a reliance netconnect datacard (ZTE device) which was working fine initially for few months. It then started giving problem, basically the device was getting heated up and stopped working. Though it was not stopped working fully but was working partially as i had to disconnect, wait for some time and reconnect. I gave few complains but they didn't take action. I told them very clearly if the problem is not resolved, i will stop the payment. Finally, after few weeks they sent one Engineer to my house & he confirmed the problem with device, the concern was immediately informed to the customer care. Then they said me to visit the ASC(authorized service center) nearby. I called the ASC and checked if they are ready to give me a new device. They told me "YES". As they didn't have the stock, i was told to come after few days(10/12). When i went to the ASC, they denied to give me a new card. They told they will copy the data to an old empty device and will give. I didn't agree with that as the device was within warranty period. I had informed the same to the person(Varun Shurpatne) i was in touch. Then there was no response at least over a month. As i informed them before, i didn't pay the amount. I told them to disconnect the service. I believe the service was disconnected as it's no longer in my name.

After that, i was getting calls from Billing department. I told them the issue and shared the complain numbers also. They didn't do anything either.

Now, few days again i got a call from Billing Dept saying they will send me legal notice and they sent it.

I request the authority to look into the matter and take the appropriate action.

    My name is Vidya Prakash from Tamkuhi Road, Kushinagar. I have a Reliance GSM connection ([protected]).Last time 6.5 rupees deducted from my main ac without any information. When I call in customer care then he register complainer (SR No.[protected] and say it’s solved in 3 days. Today 27/10/2012 I call in care and talk to Sunil, he says no any BAL deducted from your ac. I know last time on 21/10/2012 Rs6.5in my ac. So, I asked about nodal officer no, but Sunil not provide this no. So, please sir helps me. And take action against reliance. Another problem is I have complained about network from 3 months, but no any response from reliance.

        Dear sir ,
        I am Ajay chander R [ resident of pollachi ] having my reliance net connect broadband plus device with the id [ [protected] ] . My device do have the speed transfer rate upto 3.1 mbps . but in our areas , I used to get upto 1 mbps speed due to network coverage . for past few months , I been experiencing terribly slow speed below the average speed . when asked them , they told me to check my speed using speedtest.net , when checked the speed is terribly low than the broadband speed. I am being a broadband plus usage customer usually pay for unlimited usage without any dues. When I asked the customer care person said me that due to network coverage and more no. o[censored]sers in our area , I am experiencing slow speed . but I don’t understand onething I was getting good speed till before few months and now I am getting a speed which I couldn’t even say that’s the broadband speed of [200 – 300 kbps ] , but its wasn’t like that before . I am disappointed by such an answer which makes me to think why the well known reputed organization like reliance do need to tell some answer that doesn’t suit it. I am sorry to say this , I am nt convinced by this answer . so , I am making a complaint against them to look over the issue and resolve the steps as earlier as possible . I know in certain areas , I may nt get high speed but I am expecting a broadband plus speed not below the broadband speed.

        R Com BROADBAND Netconnect+ — Slow Speed

        The Rcom sold me the internet USB modem with 3G services promising speed of 1.8Gbps to 3.1Gbps.
        The actual speed varies from 12Kpbs to 225Kpbs at various times. I am paying a fat summ every time I log into the account.I have made a complaint and the engineer has visited my place and confirmed the slow speed. No further action from this company.
        Will the DOT look into this cheating business?

        I was thinking of taking to REL broadband, Won't look that side if it's BAD

        At my workplace network coverage of reliance communication (CDMA) is very poor.
        Many times if somebody tries to call me, he hears a message that "My mobile is out of coverage area". If by chance I receive a call it gets disconnected during the conversation. The signal strength indication on mobile shows very low signal most of the time. So I request you to improve your network coverage at that address given above.

        Reliance Communications — Bad coverage

        reliance has a very bad coverage and they charge you for things u havent used .. bad service.
        I[censored] call up the customer service they put u on hold for ages.. and keep passing the query from one department to other .. i hate them .. they have wasted my time ,... its better switch to vodafone or airtel.

          I m using reliance postpaid connection, when i change my plan in postpaid then my no. got barred for one month i talked to customer care also but they didn't pick my phone and now they are charging bill amount from me without providing any services, this is totally wrong how can they charge billing amount from me , i have not even able to use this connection.             I am Akshatha. I am using a reliance datacard. Previously i had a plan of Rs1100. I made a request to terminate the connection and finally i agreed to take a plan of Rs250. Reliance representative had called and mailed me that the plan got changed from 14th september. My billing period is from 14th of current month to 13th of next month(eg. 14th september to 13th october). But i got a bill for monthly rental of 1100. i raised a complaint again that the plan has not changed yet as told by the representative. They are telling that plan has changed from October14th. This issue was done by there representative and they are asking me to pay the bill. They are telling they cant do anything from there side.

                Some day before i bought a new reliance Post paid connection, My no is [protected]. I have applied for the plan 599 in which Ril to Ril is totally free and apart form that 900 minutes. My first bill of 15 days of 460 rs in which they have charged me 165 rs for R world usage. Although my cell does not have a feature of internet connectivities. I am using nokia 5100 which does not even have any option in connecting to net. I considered it as possibly i have used it. in the next month again they have charged me 405 rs apart from my plan. all total my bill is 1099. I called up to CC had a conversation to Chandrakanth on 19 oct 2012 arround 10-11 am in between. He is so stupid guy inspite of solving my problem he started shouted on me. I requested him to discontinue my no services immedatly. As i dont want to pay any extra charges to Relience. I have also informed him about the Nokia cell which i am using, which does not even come with internet facilities. They turned my life life in Hell, i would not suggest any one to owe a Reliance Services ever never in his or her life.

                They are worst in customer services, Call charges, Services.

                  i took broadband postpaid connection from reliance by paying Rs 2450-00.As laid down in the offer they extended broadband facility for 3 months
                  Subsequently after completion of the term they deactivated internet for want of clear pending bill of Rs 340-00 ( A Part in generating the bill ). The information was not given to me through post/courier. They sent an sms to my mobile,I couldn't see it immediately. When I approached the office
                  for activation they asked me to pay the outstanding bill and paid Rs340-00 Receipt No 9596/8-6-2012. Since I feel the bill amount I get is high I asked them to convert my account from postpaid to prepaid. The customer care told me that it is not feasible within one year, and the executive explained me about another plan in post paid that if you pay 2000-00 Rupees connection will be of free for 4 months.and asked me to see the office after a week.
                  I approached them after 10 days for payment of e one month outstanding bill of Rs840-00. But to my surprise they asked me to pay Rs3300-00 towards advance rental and current months bill. I didn't accept for the new scheme at any time. They themselves activated as per new plan wherein I have to pay advance bill for months.meanwhile they stopped my net service.For all these changes they have not contacted either by phone or by post or even
                  by sms. I argued with them I can pay the bill for which i used your service.i.e., for 10-15 days bill if not one month bill.I stopped approaching the office further. Later, after 20 days I use to get phone calls to me for payment of the bill Rs 3900-00 ( They enhanced )

                  Later, the matter was taken up by their immediate higher office. They contacted me by phone. The executive repeatedly phoned me for payment of Rs 3900-00 bill. I explained him due your office anxiety clubbed the forthcoming bill into current bill.and moreover the amount was not billed, it was only advance rental, and they stop-ed the service already. It means I had to pay advance rental for which connection was not given and only one month completed in the so called plan. The executive by name Mr, Rajesh mobile no [protected] repeatedly called me and also threatened me and
                  also abusive type words.

                  After one month, I use to receive calls from 91-[protected] saying that he is the legal expert and filing a suit against me for clearance of bill. Again I explained him the entire story that if at all i was due their office it is only one months rental. The other side person who called me, introduced once as a legal expert and later as court employe and warned me if you don't pay the bill you will be issued warrant and to attend the court at New Delhi. He always phones me at my office hours. I am a state govt. employee and often I use to conduct meetings with my subordinates and i told him the same and told him that not to disturb me during my office hours. But he continued...[protected] at 4.00pm,4.10pm on[protected] at 1.14pm and on[protected]at 2.09pm and 6.34pm and on[protected] at 3-44pm,3.47pm. Meanwhile one representative contacted me and asked me to pay at least one month bill and the remaining will be sent for waiver. His contact no was [protected]. and immediately in order to settle the matter I went to the reliance and paid the one months bill Rs 940-00 ( with late fee 100-00 ). But the immediate next day onwards the process is same,calling me for bill payment. At last with disgust i told him if I am a culprit/cheater (if you feel ) go legally as per norms. Since last ten days I didn't receive any call.

                  In this total scenario what was my role? Is the way they honor customers? What is the question of giving warnings and threatening s to customers?
                  The so called court advocate tells we have sent legal letters two times and it is quite ridiculous? I am not informe3d anything so far by paper/post/courier. Is mobile calling is official? If I would change my mobile number what the case would be?, With humiliation to a state govt.officer. what would be the fate of illiterate and country people? is there no end?

                    I went to Reliance Communications to change my current plan, i.e. Rs. 440 plan to Rs. 899 Unlimited plan. But, they told me that you can not change your existing plan to Rs 899 Unlimited plan. You have to change your number for that. Only a new customer can get that plan (Rs. 899 Unlimited Plan).
                    So ultimately, I purchased a new SIM and deposited Rs 850/- as Security Amount. But later, when I called up Reliance Customer Care, they told me that you can change your existing plan to Rs 899/- Unlimited plan. Even another Reliance Store confirmed me that I can change my current plan to Rs 899/- Unlimited plan.
                    I want to lodge a complain against Reliance Communications for making me fool and want my Security amount back !!!

                      I have Reliance mobile No. [protected]. For a long period, Reliance were charging for Cricket package which I had never ordered. I instructed them several times to stop deducting money, but they hardly did anything. After hundreds of complaints I was able to stop deductions for Cricket package.

                      Now after a month and half, Reliance deducted Rs.5/- for something "Saregama VAS" ----- this is some rubbish I never ordered. Their call center won't be of any help.

                      I am intentionally complaining on this platform, so that people know how they collect money by looting consumers.

                      Hope Reliance takes cognizance and [1] Refund Rs.5/- deducted 25.10.12; [2] Stop this nonsense package I never ordered, -- forthwith & [3] Stop doing such illegal acts in future.

I have recharge Rs. 14/- sms facility pack which is provide me .05 paisa per sms service. But last day when I have sms more than 50 from my mobile, the service provider company charge the Rs. 1/- per sms. After that I have made a communication to the customer care service of the respective company about the matter but it vain. No information from the company side about the changeability of the sms of a perticular day.
                        There fore you are requested to look into the matter so that I can get refund the adjustable amount.

                            उपभोक्ता ने[protected] को संदेश सेवा के लिये अपना सर्विस चार्ज उक्त कम्पनी को भुगतान किया था परन्तु कम्पनी ने[protected] को उपभोक्ता के फोन से बिना पूर्व सूचना के उसी सर्विस का पुनः चार्ज काट लिया गया है।
                            उपभोक्ता को अपने ग्रहनगर से बाहर होने के कारण फोन मे बिना बैलेंस के वह अपने काम पुरा कर सका, इस कारण उपभोक्ता को मानसिक व अर्थिक रुप से 10,000 रुपये का नुकसान हुआ है।

                              My reliance postpaid datacard [protected] has not been working since 3rd week of August 2012. In spite of repeated requests for data card replacement, fake non existent service center addresses were given. The customer care didn't even have updated phone numbers of service centres to replace the datacard. I was without internet for more than a a month, till I switched to Tata photon+ prepaid datacard on September 28 2012 after terminating Reliance postpaid.

                              Even though i didn't use rather was not able to use internet, i paid Rs. 2179 for service termination. My service termination acknowledgement receipt has the following details -WOTOWWCODE is [protected] and WOTOWW reference number is RW08002. I had repeatedly checked, if Rs. 2179 was the complete amount to be paid including termination charges and they confirmed that i had this amount for non usage as well. My monthly post paid bill comes to 850+. Even if September bill included July and August's partial usage, the amount should not have been more than Rs.1900. Even though i paid extra termination charges amounting to Rs. 2179, now another bill has been generated on October 22nd after service termination with amount 449.44.

                              Nothing to speak about their 3.1 Mbps speed, which never materialized.

                              Reliance/NetConnect — Extra charges on Internet Usage

                              I have Reliance NetConnect datacard. They have charged Rs. 81 extra in june bill on my usage what i didn't used because I have 15 hr in day and 30 hr in night free usage. I complained for the same but they said charges are correct but didn't give details(when I have used) of the usage. So could you please give me details of my usage. because I feel I didn't used my NetConnect on the given date.

                              Reliance Netconnect — Bill without using internet

                              I requested Ashish Communication Services to transfer my postpaid datacard to prepaid , they forwarded the request on 15th may,but now they say that i will have to pay Rs 1200 due ,to convert the datacard as new bill was generated on 22nd June.But i forwarded the request on 15th may after clearing the account and i have not used the datacard since then.So i guess Ashish Communication Services had made some mistake.

                              Reliance Netconnect — bill generated without using net

                              After 15 days o[censored]sing(internet connection) they generate unexpected unused bill and stopped service of reliance data card.now 2-3 month over they call me and ask to pay each and every month rental.(but after 15 days of just using how can i pay total 3 month of bill)

                                After unbearable pain with the service am raising complaint. Please consider and am requesting u to all the people in India take a wise decision after my story to take new broadband connection with Reliance.

                                Phase 1:

                                I've taken reliance connection in the month of May or April end didn't remember proper date from the 3rd day internet is not working properly . Called to customer service simply the nice voice pals taken the request , however no immediate solution.There is another work post office is call to customer care and raising a complaint. Net was working for 7 or below that days and am raising request once back. This is going on till 3 months . Another wonder with their technicians and the system. The technicians didn't call me or come to my home and issue is not resolved ,however the status was resolved in their system.I patiently watching all these,however not able to know whom to approach. When am asking the executives to pass the call the higher official. Wondering with their tactics or something. They put me on hold always and telling the officials were engaged in another call or unavailable.Don't know how many working in customer care and no body was free to take up at anytime. Finally i got some other number and asked the official to deactivate the connection and I requested for waiver or installation charges back, however they simply rejected. I wexed up with these requests and not able to note these many , when am trying to ask waiver simply they are telling the status was resolved. I unnecessarily paid the amount for the period when the connection was not fine. Got waiver just 300 and I paid 1k over for no proper connection. Post that the connection was good for two more months. Then the current issue was started.

                                Phase 2:

                                In my area the cable was chopped by somebody. They rectified once and post that same scene is repeated recently at September end 2012. Am out of station till Oct 4th . Post i raised a ticket on 7th as per their records. Post that this time my goodness i got chance to talk with the higher official after 4 or 5 days and he simply said the issue regarding the cable has been chopped by local and they are not interested to reconnect it n suggested to withdrew the connection.I raised a request for termination and asked for waiver or installation charges because the issue from their end as usual they rejected.I agree for that and approach other service provider and the request for new connection has initiated mean while i got call from reliance they are trying to reconnect the connection post 7 days from my request. I hold the new service provider and calling to these reliance people everyday single or twice. Simply they said two words" Excuse,Escalate", but no use. am holding the new service people. days passing on but no solution finally they have given "'[protected]@relianceada.com'". on 18th i dropped a mail stating whole story and I'll wait till 20th post that will not interested to retake the connection.Same time I called and mentioned the same, still this much follow up no solution.Don't know whom to approach for this. Finally i requested for the cancellation n done on 21st October.Now they stating that i need to pay the bill for the whole month. please check the conversation:

                                As per the confirmation received from our concerned team for your billing complaint, registered vide Service Request ID[protected], your cancellation request was processed within the given time frame. Hence, no waiver is applicable to your account for delay in cancellation. Any rental charged after 09/10/2012, will automatically be reversed by the system. my uid is :[protected] .

                                Now i called to the customer care she said i need to pay the bill for the period[protected] to[protected] .Utterly i shocked with this. connection is not working from sep end and request is under process before cancellation request and i need to pay for the period . I asked her why i need to pay and check the conversations on my id.she said the first request on 7th of October was closed .I shocked and the second request was cable issue. I wonder nobody came and didn't call and the issue was closed. She gave an offer for waiver. I asked her why i required that even i've not used the connection. My blunder ness is I've not notedown the requests and howmany requests i need to note down??Recently i studied about consumer forums in Reader's digest and find this. I hope that I'll get solution. As a software guy we have so many tensions,however these people are tortured like any thing.Am not able to explain the mental torture I faced. As I opted this network to work from home, however I faced a lot. Kindly provide solution. They will pay for this ? answer was no.

                                Please be patient for this long story and try to take a decision before taking reliance broadband connection. visualize my pain and provide me the solution.Please reply me how to solve this issue or to whom i need to approach for this .                                   My Name is Vicharan and i am a student at LPU near Jalandhar. I have come all the way across from Thailand here to study because i was told it was a good place.However the problems i am having with your Reliance communication is very disturbing and disgraceful for this country. As i am a foreigner i am being treated by Reliance customer care like i am an outcast.
                                  I have purchased a Reliance GSM sim no [protected] from my university campus for usage in my blackberry mobile phone.
                                  In the beginning when i activated the blackberry services i was told that for the Rs 99 plan i could download 2.5 gb data from my internet browser provided i did not use any other browser. When i did that i automatically lost rs 100. When i spoke to the reliance customer care i was told that my handset had some settings which were incorrect that is why i have lost balance while downloading. My handset settings were changed as per their instructions and i was told that after that there would be no deductions. I again tried to download and have just lost over Rs 500 in balance because of deductions. I am not using any third party browser for downloading so why is this happening.
                                  Further even though my blackberry services are active i am unable to send and receive mails from my handset though my internet is working. When i called 389 they were rude and told me that since my details could not be uploaded i could not be helped and that i should go to the reliance web world store and resubmit my documents if i wanted help.
                                  Sir, I am staying at the LPU hostel and have classes till 6 every evening after which i am not allowed out of campus as per university rules. The store where i bought the simcard keeps saying that my documents have been sent and that it will be uploaded. It has been over 2 weeks.
                                  This is disgraceful service and i have approached the students union here at the university to completely ban the sale or Reliance Communication sim cards and any other reliance internet devices at the university.

                                    I am using the reliance postpaid service from May 2012. Right from my very first bill I am being wrongly charged for unused RWorld usage for which I complain to the customer care every month. Every month after my complaint they provide me with an adjustment ID deducting the amount from the bill. This has really been irritating me a lot as I have to call the customer care each time I get the bill.


                                    Now, 5 months have passed with the problem being persistent and becoming more brazen. Untill last month the amount charged would be around Rs 30-50 every month. This time, on my Sep 2012 bill, however the amount charged was Rs 210. When I called the customer care, the person initially argued that I had in fact used the Rworld service and the amount charged was not fallible. I had to explain him my history of Adjustment IDs to make him understand the problem. When I asked him to deduct the amount and provide me with an adjustment ID, he told he can only waive a maximum of Rs 100 from my bill. I insisted on getting the full amount waived immediately for which he hung up the call. After half n hour o[censored]nresponsive wait I had to cut the call.

                                    The next day I again called the customer care for registering a complaint. The person told me that he had registered the complaint and the problem will be resolved in the next two days. After 2 days I got a message from rcom saying that my problem has been resolved. When I called the customer care again, I was told that the amount will be deducted from the next months bill. However, when I called the customer care again after a few days seeking the status of my complaint, the person told me that I was not wrongly charged and I have to pay the full amount.

                                    I need a permanent solution for the problem. I am considering changing the service provider as the last resort. I have again complained to the customer care and my complaint ID is[protected].

                                    after this in morning arond 9.00 when i try on *225 to confirm that than they show my balance 55 paisa while i not use my mobile in this morning.

                                    I call to c/c than they told that i used some "data uses" and they give complain no. but i know very well that i was not using any service and not touch mobile at 17.02.08 early morning.

                                    after two day massage come from 51232 that we have check & found that there is no wrong deduction but actuly it was wrong deduction.

                                    RELIANCE IS THE MOST IDIOTIC COMP[ANY I HAVE EVER SEEN, ITS NOT THT SOME1 FROM RELIANCE WHO COULD BE UR ENEMY IS WORKING THERE.IT SEEMS THAT RELIANCE IS NO LONGER INTERESTED IN CONTINUING ITS COMPANY IRRITATING ITS EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER OVER THESE STUPID SERVICES.I HAVE DISCONTINUED IT AFTER LEARNING THAT THEY HAD DEDUCTED MY MONEY WITHOUT NE LOGICAL REOSON.N THE BEST PART IS WHEN CONTACTED THE CUSTOMER CARE, I GET TO KNOW THAT THEY DONT HAVE INFORMATION BUT THEY ONLY KNOW THT ITS ALWAYS CUSTOMERS WHO ARE AT FAULT.THEY CANT CONTINUE LIKE THIS HARASSING THE INNOCENT CUSTOMERS.THEY WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS FOR HARASSING EACH AND EVERY CUSTOMER AND WILL LOSE THEM AS WELL.
                                    i have been charged 800 rs for my first month mobile bill for service which i have never used. Reliance has charged me 500 rs for internet usage which service i never availed from them and never used from them
                                    Becuase i dint pay the amount they discontinued my service and kept sending me monthly rental bills.
                                    Now after 5 months of rentals accumulated and along with 1st month bill due they call me and say they
                                    are ready to withdraw the internet usage charges for the first month provided i pay the rentals for the balance months
                                    again for services never used by me.
                                    This is an easy of cheating customers by sending them bills and later calling them to settle the amount which still
                                    remains very high.

                                      I was holding a prepaid connection of Reliance with the number [protected] for last 2 years, it was working well, but suddenly, my this connection was terminated by the Reliance company on 19.10.2011 ( where as this connection was valid up to t he year 2022) without any notice, and the Reliance franchisee, is not giving me any satisfactory answer, why my this connection is terminated where as with this termination of connection I lost this connection with the avail balance lying it,
                                      So, I request all my brothers dont trust the Reliance communication company, this company is cheating the costomers.

                                      Reliance Prepaid Connection — Unnecessary deductions: A routine task

                                      Hi
                                      I am jatin makhija having prepaid number [protected]. I had recharged my mobile a month back & that too was done after couple of months in a hope that this time i will recharge & my account wont be deducted with unnecessary unwanted amounts , but this was just a fake dream as the routine task of deducting balance for unasked services continued.
                                      Now again Rs 20 is missing from my account & i also raised a complaint with # : [protected] & still no action has taken place.
                                      Kindly look into this & compensate for it.

                                        [protected], [protected] & [protected] the 3 mobile nos are reliance prepaid card. so many times the company activate any sevice automatically & less the cost in this number's i report in c.care so many times but his told the proof not updated properly but i submit the proofs 2 month back properly in kovilpatti reliance off orbit enterprises number [protected] he is the rel distributor in kovilpatti so please take immediate step for this complient. thank you...
