I am a prepaid Smart GSM customer and i had recharged my 3G data pack online on the 21st Sep by Rs 255/- and the benefit was was not given again after complaining that to the reliance center and the customer care nothing was done. On the 30th of Sep i visited the reliance store and complained the same and had recharged the same data pack of rs 255/- the problem still exists. i had complained this many times to the reliance center as well as the call center nothing has been done till date. Now i want my refund and would also like to surrender the connection.

    Hi,

    I have recently changed my service provider to Reliance GSM from Airtel. Unfortunately I am dissatisfied by the 3G speeds that I am getting. Its a meagre 60kb/s on average. Upon talking to customer care, I was told that there was no technical problem from their end. For reference, I use Motorola Fire XT (3G enabled) android handset. Kindly resolve the issue.

        I BOUGHT A DATA CARD FOR 1499 post paid 350/- + service tax from reliance communications They gave a free gsm sim card post paid and promised me that minimum charge was only 199//- afterwards every month they raised a demand note for 730 rupees which I refuse to pay . I would like to cancel my subscription to GSM phne connection but want to retain the data card service for they are willing to oblige..
        I request TRAI to intervene ,and permit me to pay for only for datacard

          I have GSM prepaid connection from Reliance (phone number [protected]). It is mostly for emergency situations. In fact, I have not used it at all for the past 4-5 months either for incoming or for outgoing. But I find that all my balance (more than 400 rupees) vanished. When I called reliance, they said that it was due to caller tune and some other plan which takes out 30 rupees and 10 rupees every day so I end up using up more than 100 rupees each month without using the phone at all. I never subscribed to any of these services. They promised me that they will reverse these charges but only reversed 10 rupees and that too is gone the next day, again without using the phone. Now when I call them, they claim that their server is down so they can not help.

          I would like your help in stopping Reliance from playing this fraud and reverse these charges from my account. Thanks for your help.

            To get the complaint docket number you need to call *333 which is painful as very rude customer care people from your department take a long time to do that and you also charge 50 paisa for that. Its a matter not only o[censored]nduly charging Rs.. 19.50 this time but doing this on a regular basis (a few of which I have noticed as you can see in the trailing mails). Anyway I am lodging a consumer court complaint regarding the same and also informing the grievance cell of the DoT.

            Again you have unduly registered me to another VAS SMS PACK and deducted Rs. 19.50 from my account today 03/10/2012. I am already registered to SMS PACK Rs 39.
            Refund the Rs. 19.50 immediately.

            Yesterday I bought a 1.2p/sec pack for my prepaid (and made a test call in my VODAFONE mobile for 2 seconds but the deduction from my balance was 5 paise instead of 2.4 paise).

            As soon as the SMS of deduction of Rs. 39 came I got this VAS SMSPACK deduction of Rs. 19.50 again.

            PLEASE MAKE IT CLEAR THAT I DO NOT WANT ANYMORE VAS OR OTHER SERVICES FROM YOU other than what I buy online.

            This time I am not going to take it lightly and am a media professional. I have handled mainline advertising for AIRCEL and HUTCH (http://visualcv.com/onemadartist) and now I will make a big issue of it and I have lots of contacts in RTI's NGOs.

            I received an SMS 'RM-HNGAMA' saying Bipasha Tips for a few days which I thought were promotional and did not bother....

            Suddenly on 18 Nov 2011 I received an SMS saying that Rs. 7 will be deducted from balance per week and to unsubscribe I need to SMS 'UNSUBBFT ' to 54646 which I did. I got a confirmation SMS for the same but still Rs. 7 got deducted.

            I complained to *333 and was given a complaint number[protected].

            My balance is perputally being reducing and when I noticed the SMS on research on my usage from dialled calls and balance I found that Reliance has been deducting considerable amounts without my knowledge.

            To illustrate two examples:
            <18:24 p.m. - 16/11/2011 Balance Rs. 129.33>
            <12:28 p.m. - 18/11/2011 Balance Rs. 117.06>
            I called for 00:05:03 = 303 seconds approximately and sent 1 SMS = Rs.3.04
            THEN HOW DID RELIANCE DEDUCT Rs. 12.27 when they should deduct Rs 10.04 (including the Rs. 7 'RM-HNGAMA' which I have noted before and also have complained about)


            <12:28 p.m. - 18/11/2011 Balance Rs. 117.06>
            <18:36 p.m. - 18/11/2011 Balance Rs. 113.06>
            I went to sleep after this (in between the two timings mentioned above) did not make and calls or SMS. But Reliance deducted Rs. 4 from my balance to my amazement even after complaining previously to resolve my issue (complaint number[protected]

            This way Reliance prepaid had been deducting money regularly.

            PLEASE RESOLVE THIS ISSUE.

            Reliance Mobile — No response on sending SMS on company's advertisement

            Dear Sir/ Madam,

            I have received so many SMSs from the number 53131 stating that enter your date of birth and know your future or enter your name and know your past and future.

            I have tried this number so many times. Every time this SMS cost me Rs. 3.00. But I don't received any single reply from them.

            The Company is cheating with theur consimers. The company wants to increase the sale of prepaid vouchers in this way.

              I am Mohd Asif. My reliance netconnect postpaid datacard was on "SAFE CUSTODY" since may for which I was paying Rs 100 per month. But this month I got a bill of Rs 1100. when i asked the customer service representative, he said that " your safe custody has been stopped and you have submitted your documents at the reliance gallery on 31st August,2012 for stopping this service and Rs 800 plan has been activated on your no. I never sent my documents to them, neither did i ever request them to stop my "safe custody". Also i would like to mention that the bill shows 0 MB usage.

                I was the user of Relience 3G data card. I used this 2 or 3 month. after uses a month I paid their bill, but due to some reson, this payment had been refund automaticall. in this process, its passed 20 days. after then they stop their services for me. after few days they send me 2 months bill, which I did not use. in this continuty I had conversation with their custmercare executive and they compensate this ammount till 1000, just because they generated the unwanted bill of 1800 something. but suddenely I received a call of his lawyar, and he inform me that he had file a legal case against of me. Can they tell me, what the hell is this.

                still I had listen that Reliance is company of crooks, but today they make proof this. yesterday I was going to paid my data card bill through the online. but as its payment process was about to complete then its was sowing an error. so that I paid it again. in this process payment has deduct as double. Nonetheless they are not start my data card service. they said you have to visit web world now. neither they agree to refund my extra payment.
                I would like to suggest my all friends that never use the any kinds of reliance service, they are completely bunches of frod.

                        I am new to Reliance GSM & am facing issues with roaming as I am not allowed to roam on rival networks (something Airtel & others allow). This is a major handicap in places where there is no signal of Reliance GSM. With Airtel I remember I could roam on networks of Idea & Docomo at places where their own signal was very weak. Yesterday I went to a village near Haryana-Rajasthan border (beyond Manesar) & could see my phone having zero signal for the entire day whereas Vodafone, Idea & Airtel users were having no issues. Please look into this as I am a frequent traveler & have switched to Reliance because of the fact that they offer roaming free plans.

[protected] with 75 rs .. in 75 i was expected to get 66 tt and call rate of 1.2p/min.. i received a message of successful recharge but i dint get any balance and even the plan of 1.2/min is also not activated. when i contacted the customer care they said it is for customer who get there number recharged for the first time.. but this thing was not told by the shopkeeper who sold me the plan.. its there responsibility to get there executives to explain each plan to them.. so i want them to get my money refunded.. or they wont have accepted the recharge request..please resolve my case . i am a loyal customer of dis reliance but now thinking of switching to other service provider

                                    This is about the billing malpractice used by Reliance for the NetConnect service I had from them. Reliance has been billing me (possibly intentionally) from day one since I took the service. I had 4 month pre-pay unlimited service. They put me in the wrong plan and kept on sending me huge bills every few days. I had to make multiple calls each time before they would agree to their “mistake” (which I doubt was a “mistake”) and issue me a reversal of the charge. You can see sand verify it from the number of charge reversals to the account. In fact, they would suspend the service and I ended up paying for service which I never got. I have many business meetings with my USA counterparts in the evenings which I had to miss because of them. I bought the card from their salesperson Mr. Syed ([protected]) who knows the mistake and tried to help me but could not do so each time.
                                    Once the pre-pay period of 4 months was over, I asked them to put me on monthly unlimited plan. It was about 1000 rupees per month. Soon, I again started getting billed for “excess bandwidth used”. My ordeal started again. Every time I called they said they will take care of it but they kept me on the wrong plan and billed me 5 to 10 thousands rupees before correcting the plan. But the old charges remained in my account and they continues harassing me. I later learnt that they seem to be indulging in such practice often. A quick search on internet brought me 100s of cases where consumers were put on the wrong plan and billed huge amounts.
                                    I should have actually filed the case against them for wrongful billing, suspending the service and still charging, etc. But I didn’t want to spend time on them but now I have started getting random calls on their behalf asking for money and therefore forced to write to you for your intervention.

                                      It's the violation of TRAI rules and regulation Why Reliance doesn't follow legislation, regulations and policy of TRAI ? Don't compel me to go in the shelter of TRAI

                                      Reliance Fresh — Unsolicited SMS's

                                      Last year, I had filled up the application form for the Relaince Fresh cards but now find myself in s deep mire, since I receive unsolicited SMS's eversince then. Although, I objected to this and asked for deletion of my number; I continue to get thee irritating SMS's - almost twice a day!!

                                      I am shocked to find a large company like this continuing to use cheap tricks and intruding individual privacy and more so an unfazed even though I complained about this several times
                                      I had filled in my details for the card specifically instructing not to use my numbers for sending their promos. When this became a nuisance I had given it in writing to their outlet ( 6 months back)in Ghodbunder Road, Thane ( Nr. Suraj Water park), but no use. The outlet manager there had assured me that all SMSes would be stopped within 45 working days.

                                      No action is being taken after repeated reminders.
                                      Most irresponsible &unresponsive organisation.Has no process in place for resolving customer complaint&no organisationto beck either.Nodal Officer, Appellatte Offuicer seem to be non existent.I wonder how this organisation is allowed to operate with such impunity.

On the same question the reply of customer care was myself deactivated the 1 paisa SMS service but i never called the customer care and asked him to deactivate my service.And is it possible that after deducting activation charges i will ask them to deactivate my service.

                                      It is with great agony that i wish to draw your kind attention towards unwanted phone calls and sms received to me .I'm the customer of reliance with mobile number [protected] this mob no is already has been registered in DND but still unwanted voice calls and sms are continuously come.Previously i have been submit complained regarding unwanted phone calls and sms on 8 AUG 2012 but i didn't met with any advantage of this one


                                      When i'm registered in DND then why you send advertising calls and message? I'm a businessmen and don't have a single minute to pick up ur idle phone calls.i have no interest in ur product and services I feel irritation when ur ring comes during dealing with clients

                                      It's the violation of TRAI rules and regulation Why Reliance doesn't follow legislation, regulations and policy of TRAI ? Don't compel me to go in the shelter of TRAI

                                      Now I am thinking to switch from Reliance to VODAFONE.This providing good customer service and better connectivity from Reliance
                                      I feel confident of receiving a favourable and helpful reply.I am quite hopeful that you will take a prompt action and oblige.

                                      I want to know the solution for, if anyone calls who is stranger to me and talk abusive things to me.. what shall i do to block his number or to punish him, so that in future he can't call me..Is there any helpline number issued by reliance communications?? plz suggest...

                                        dr sir/ madam,

                                        i am getting calls from reliance net connect customer care exec twice or thrice every wk for about 3 months. the prob is i am getting calls for some wrong person and i have already informed the rel cc exec that this num does not belong to them. they are asking me to pay the bill for postpaid net connection. i do not own any of the rel postpaid connections and they are asking in the name of " RAMASUBRAMANIAN".
                                        i am really frustrated that i have informed several times the cc exec that this is not his num and u r calling someone wrong. even yest i got one cal from rel cc and she spoke in ill mannered way.
                                        i have complained several times and still no proper response. i have tweeted them also and msgd in fb form in their site. if this continues really i wil take necessary actions.
                                        if they cannot provide gud customer support why do they need to run the company? irresponsible people.
                                        still now i have not received any calls or any comment... what an irresponsible company
