This is regarding the LCD TV that I bought 2 years back from Samsung Digital Plaza (thru QRS, Thiruvananthapuram) for Rs 47,990. It worked fine for 2 years. Suddenly the picture colour started showing some major problems and I registered a complaint with Samsung service center at Trivandrum. After repeated calls and reminders finally the service center has confirmed that the panel has to be replaced (earlier technician had mentioned that replacing the board might be enough) and it costs Rs. 24,000+. The company wants me to pay Rs. 15,000 (discounted price).

I had done some research about TVs before deciding to buy an LCD TV though it was very expensive. The Samsung sales guys had marketed the fact that LCD TVs have longer life and that is the only reason why I went for LCD and decided on Samsung since I thought it was a good brand.

I am thoroughly disappointed both with the quality of the Samsung LCD TV and the delay/quality in response by the Samsung service center. I was shocked to see that Samsung manufactures goods with such low quality that an LCD TV (that costs Rs. 50,000) fails in 2 years time and make the consumers spend tens of thousands of rupees again on repair and replacement.

YES, I AGREE WITH THIS AS I TOO SUFFERING FROM SAME PROBLEM AS WE HAD TOO PURCHASED LCD TV 1 YEAR BACK. STILL THIER WERE ASKING FOR VISTING FEES WHICH WAS OVER PATHIC SITUATION FOR ME. SO I REQUEST ALL THE PEOPLE NOT TO BUY SAMSUNG TV AS THIER CANT AFFORD PROPER QUALITY TV AS WELL AS SERVICE.
I completely agree with the above views. My story goes like this. I bought this 22" LCD TV Model LA22A450 on 04 May 2009 form Vijay Sales, Mumbai. Exactly after 16 months, the TV screen suddenly changed colours and started to fade out. That was the end of it. I immediately lodged a complaint with the Samsung Customer Care on 12 Sep 10. For a change, the service engineer attended to the call promptly and visited our palce on 13 Sep 10. The sevice engineer told us that the LCD panel has gone bad and needs to be replaced and it would cost Rs 8, 000. The cost of the TV was Rs 16, 500 at the time of pruchase. So you can imagine the plight - I need to spend 50% cost of the TV in getting it repaired and that too within less than a year a half from purchasing it. Ridiculous..simply ridiculous..

Intend taking up this matter with Senior management of Samsung Company in India. Lets see what they have to say and do...

This is the second time i am writing to the Consumer Complaints Forum regarding my TV Problem
I am having worst experience with the Samsung people.
and i am in a helpless situation unable to decide whether to exchange my TV which costs around 40, 000 only 1 year old or wait for these irresponsible people to get back to me (may be in 1 more month).
When i put up a mail, here, they contacted me saying your problem is under notice and we r taking care of that. IT was on 23rd september and today it is 10th october.u can just imagine how worst their service is..

Please help me regarding this

    i had bought samsung i 450 of rs- 11,000/- four monthes back on 11-may-2009 with one year warranty its hands free is not connecting to the mobileand when i went for its serviceat nehru place, delhi service center they said that its whole mother board has to be changed and you have to pay Rs- 6000/- .
    they were not taking gaurantey of internal damage its a software damage we cant do it manually
    one year back the same complaint happned with another samsung mobile set. costumer service center is not dealing well with the costumers.
    please do take require action not only me even many other peoles are also suffring from there services.

      I have bought a new samsung phone (E250i) from ghaziabad up.
      after very first day its talk time backup is only 1.5 hrs. while in its specification it's showing upto 10 hrs. and battery dishcharges in a single day without using multimedia functions. its customer care man told me to charge the battery after fully discharged to improve backup, but story is same. i am highly unsatisfied with this product.

      Samsung — Poor Battery Misleading specs

      I bought a Samsung Cell Phone i780 on 6 Jan 2009 for Rs. 18, 200.
      The specs say 9 hours talk time and 360 hours standby.
      The battery gets drained very fast and the talk time is no where around 9 hours. The shop keeper says that's why Samsung gives 2 batteries.
      I do not want 2 bad batteries but just one which works well.
      I want a full refund of my set and also compensation for all time wasted and head aches and calls missed because set goes dead.
      i have a samsung sgh j700 mobile ...i hav to say that it has very very poor battery backup..even it cant run for a day..its a ruff battery i could hav ever seen in my life...

      I was purchase one mobile from ghaziabad SUMSUNG MOBILE showromm, PRODUCT NO. S3500I IN SEPT MONTH. Now a days one problem is show battery backup very low condition. I was check battery backup many times again and again. And finally taken disision I was given my mobile authorised service at K.K. SERVICE, 102, hans plaza, ambedkar road, ghaziabad its phone no.[protected]. its job sheet no. 527 dt . 31.10.2009 my name mr. Rohit.

      The owner of the authorsed service center at Ghaziabad told me and aussure me that mobile batter will be replace within a week. Today is date 26.11.209 i have gone many time to ask have the my mobile is okey or not or replace battery of the my mobile, always there staff told me mobile battery not replace yet. and say next day have to come .

      What i do sir i have spent 26 days already, is there taken 26 days a battery replace matter ?

      i PURCHASED TWO NO.S SAMSUNG MOBILE ON THE SAME DAY SOMETIME IN DECEMBER 2009. AFTER 4 MONTHS BOTH THE MOBILES STARTED TO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS THAT IS QUICK DISCHARGE OFF BATTERY SAY AFTER ONE CALL OR TWO. oNE IS A DUAL SIM SET AND THE OTHER SINGLE SIM. ON THE DAY WHEN I BOUGHT BOTH THE MOBILES SETS I REMEMBER THAT THE RETAILER HAD TOLD ME THAT IN CASE OF BATTERY DEFECT WITHIN 6 MONTHS THE BATTERIES WOULD BE REPLACED IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT ASKING ANY QUESTIONS. SO HAPPILY I APPROACHED THE SERVICE CENTRE AT ROURKELA WITH THE BILL ETC SOMETIME IN MARCH.FOR BATTERY REPLACEMENT. i GOT A SHOCK OF MY LIFE WHEN i SAW THE SERVICE CENTRE. IT IS WORSE THAN A ROAD SIDE MOBILE SHOP SELLING FAKE ACCESORRIES. tHE SO CALLED SERVICE ENGINEER MADE ME SIT FOR TWO HOURS AND COULD NOT EVEN OPEN THE COVER OF THE MOBILE SETS. i TOLD THAT i AM ENTITLED FOR A FREE REPLACEMENT OF BATTEERIES DURING THE THE FIRST SIX MONTHS BUT ALL WAS IN VAIN AS hE HAD THE ATTITUDE TO PROVE THAT BOTH SETS WERE DEFECTIVE AND THE BATTERIES WERE OK AND HE CONCLUDED THIS EVEN WITHOUT TESTING THEM.
      SO NOW I CONCLUDE THAT SAMSUNG COMPANY IS CHEATING ITS CUSTOMERS WITH FALSE ASSURANCES BECAUSE WHY SHOULD A CONSUMER HAVE TO FIGHT TO GET HIS DUES FROM SUCH FAMEOUSE COMPANY AND ULTIMATELY ME AND MY WIFE HAVE TO CARRY THE ADDITIONAL WEIGHT OF THE CHARGER EVERYWHERE WE GO AND SEARCH FOR A ELECTRIC PLUG TO INSTANTLY PLUG IN THE CHARGER TO MAKE OR RECEIVE A CALL. THE SO CALLED SERVICE ENGINEER FINALLY OPENED BOTH THE BRAND NEW SET'S AND SOMEHOW ASSEMBLED THEM AGAIN AND SAID EVERYTHING IS OK AND YOU AND YOUR MOBILE GET LOST.
      i AM NOW CURSING MYSELF THAT WHY i DIDNOT BUY A NOKIA SET BECAUSE THE SAME STORY IS BEING REPEATED BY MANY OF FRIENDS ASWELL ALL IN POSSESSION OF THE GREAT BRAND NAME SAMSUNG. hOW IS THE GOVERNMENT ALLLOWING SUCH INFERIOR GOODS TO BE MARKETED IN SUCH HIGH COST THROUGHOUT INDIA AND I WOULD ADVISE FRIENDS NOT TO GO FOR THE MULTICOLOURED TEMPTING ADS IN T.V AND MEDIA BY SAMSUNG INDIA IN MARKETING THEIR MOBILES BECAUSE WITHIN SIX MONTHS THE LIFE OF THE MOBILE I.E THE BATTERY WOULD GO KAPUT AND YOU HAVE TO SPEND RS.700 TO RS.800 EVERY SIX MONTHS TO MAINTAIN YOUR SAMSUNG MOBILE.

        Dear Sir / Madam,

        With reference to my home installed WINDOWS AC bearing Model: AWT18QBHDBD1LXTL,Please informed that this AC was bought during April 2005 thereby undergoing two subsequent repairs involving fire accident as well. Was referred to Alpha Refrigerations, Chennai both the times by Customer Care. Have spent nearly additional Rs 6000/ on repairs. Kindly note that all expenses have been absorbed from consumer end with no incline on quality. Everytime, we are forced to adher to their Service Representative appointment timings with cost also involved from consumer end.

        Kindly note, as a domestic consumer, we are very unhappy with the product quality and thereby subject to poor repair services by your company. Today again, we are verged to face the third problem with AC within 1 month span of last repair. No Cooling effect and also burn smells.

        Quite inquisitive to understand whether we need to prolong or continue consumer relationship with SAMSUNG including the existing product from your company.

        Kindly advise on future course of action from your side.

          refer to my earlier email dt[protected] i have given my mobile on[protected] at gorakhpur of your service centre but about one month gone the mobile was not returned to me after repairing after contact to service station no respone was given to me .So I request to look into matter seriously .

          samsung mobile D 780 — complaint regarding repairing of mobile

          I have handed over my mobile set samung mobile bearing moded no-D780 to the service centre at gorakhpur on 18 August 2009.This mobile set is having charging problem.After passage of One month it has not been repaired and even calling on phone and after meeting personally no proper response has been given to me. I am sorry to say that this type of activity does not like a good business man and put question mark on the reputation of such a big company.
          In view of the above request you look into the matter seriously.Hoping early reply.

            The phone has been giving us regular problems from The day 7,i never expected such sort of problem from SAMSUNG Mobile.
            Problem 1)
            On day 7(from Purchase) The battery was low & it just turned off showing the message the battery needs to be charged, it never opened up. Only when i went to the shop again & explained what happened,they changed the battery & it started working,then i was advised to go to service centre as they can only issue under warranty battery. I went there & was issued the battery but now
            Problem 2)
            On charging the set becomes hot & service centre asked for 15 days time.again harrasement for us as we bought a new set & were exposed to samsung for the first time.
            Problem3)
            After 15 days i got the set & it was very rough,sliding was very hard etc,anyhow i started using it, i came to know that the battery back now is just 1-2 hours & after every 2 hours i need to recharge the set. Again harrasment for me.
            Problem 4)
            Anyhow i was adjusting & suddenly the speaker went down, music player working but not able to listen the calls. I managed few days like this & again went to the service centre for the neccary action & again got the mobile after 7 days.
            Problem 5)
            Now from past few days again the screen is very unpredictable & continuous problems are coming. Sometimes it works,sometimes it stops working,even when it works it is shaking,speaker is still not ok. I am not going to service centre because it is very difficult to manage urself without a phone these days.
            In these just two months of purchasing SAMSUNG Mobile i have been so harrased & irritated with my mobile. Few were my friends were against buying SAMSUNG due to market reportation of complaints but i bought it anyhow.
            Please look into the matter & kindly suggest if anything fruitful can be done as soon as possible.

            Sir I have purchased Samsung star 3G model GT-S5603, on 6th Oct 09 from Digital gallery shop no 50/56, 320, Amba bazar MG Road basement, opp. Wonder land, camp Pune -01.phone no[protected].In user manual page no 38, one special function given for record songs from FM radio, but this advance function is not available, so I have contacted Samsung services network for this, on[protected].They have told me that send scaned page of that manual, then only we can do something.So Im sending that scaned doc.to you, for further nessessary action.My complain no was BP-[protected] at 11:51 on 13 Oct 09.If any provision for download that software in my mobile then suggest me and it can be done by your service center, or I want to replace my mobile with all discribed function in star 3G.or refund of money, I felt very bad for my Samsung star 3G.With regards,

              Dear Sir/ Mam,

              I would like to inform you that neither Samsung Mobile people nor Mumbai police is helping me to retrace my mobile.

              I have lost my mobile on 24th July 2009 near MG Road Mumbai, I have been to "Azad Maidan Police Thane" and launched an FIR on the same day that is 24th July 2009 FIR number- 1162109.
              Police people told me that they will send a copy of the FIR to all the service providers, but After asking the customer care of various service provider I got to know that this has not been done.

              I spoke to Samsung Mobile people also, even they are not helping me in this regards even after having all the documents of my mobile with IMEI number- "[protected]", model name "Samsung i 450"
              I am attaching the Scanned copy of my bill along with this mail.

                Samsung E-250 — Phone Dead

                i purchased the abovementioned model no on 23/7/2008 and suddenly on 16th sept. 08 the phone got dead automatically, when i enquired with the service centre, i was informed that the board is damaged as the phone must have fallen somewhere, whereas there was no such occassion.
                now the service centre is saying it will take 15 days for the report from their manufacturing unit to verify the actual problem and the estimates if any.
                the phone is still under waranty period.

                  Just to apprise you that I have been using Samsung product from last 7 years and never faced any issues in your Sales Support towards us but this time I am very upset and disappointed after having bought a Window AC (Please refer the appended mails) model no.AW18ZKA from one of your franchisee National Electronics, 5 Park Road, Lucknow on 24/03/09.

                  Issue against the Remote Control:

                  The remote has been replaced twice till date but the Remote Control device is still not working at all that means we are not able to control any commands from the said Remote Control to the pertaining Window AC as of now.

                  Though , we have launched a complaint to the Samsung Call Centre (Customer Care division) on 18th Sep 2009 but not an Engineer has turned-up to us as of now, even we have not received a single call (Support Call) from them.

                  I would request you to kindly send an expert engineer with a new (fresh) and compatible Remote Control device immediately who should resolve our issue(s) completely asap.

                    Hi,

                    I had booked the order (order no ORA[protected] at 'India today book club' for Samsung Marine Mobile (b2100) against free gift offer of Family Holiday Package Worth Rs.5000/- + Round Air tickets Free + Rs.5000/- worth Home shop 18 vouchers as per the verbal confirmation of your executive while booking the order.

                    The parcel I received was only having mobile phone and the ‘Family holiday home package, air ticket and home shope 18 vouchers are not delivered’.

                    I emailed the company and they asked me to ‘visit the below mentioned bookstoday.in/promos.htm link to claim your free gifts. After 15 days daily contacting and lodging the complaint stating that your unique code no which you have provided in the invoice is not in a active state and concerned benefits are not delivered to my address they activated my secret code no. But not mentioned about my Home shope 18 vouchers.

                    When I visited the link, I came to know that for holiday package they have put such conditions that some one decides then also he cannot availed the offer and the same thing is apply for the Air tickets.
                    Also the payment Rs 800 is required for Holiday package and payment of taxes is required for Air ticket, which was not mentioned in the initial offer flyer. They had cheated and not informed me this condition in any stage of my booking the order through mail or verbal manner.

                    The terms & conditions they are asking me to follow for free gifts are informed me after I have accepted the delivery of samsung mobile consignment. Legally I am not bound to follow any of such condition.

                    The free gift what they are saying is a totally misguiding to the customers.

                    I have maintained copies of all communication between ‘India today book club’ and me. I am expecting my money back with harassment compensation and company to stop such cheating marketing policy.

                    Its my a very very bad & worst experience with indiatodaybookclub ....

                    I also told them that I am going to post complain against them on forums and your site but nothing! They have NO time to reply or response after payment. Only searching for new buyers...

                    Very BAD...

                    Hope to get my full money + courier charges return fast... OR I am going to file a consumer case against this cheater people of India Today Book Club.

                    I was extremely disappointed with the service I received till day. If you would please address this issue with your concerned autorities, I would greatly appreciate it. I will forward this message to other people saying that you wont enjoy shopping at your store, however if I receive no response from your end, I will try to shut down your ugly business.

                      I made a service request for my Samsung fridge on 17.09.2009. I was given ticket no. 8602005 and assured that service engineer will visit on 18.09.2009. No sign of him/her. On 19.09.2009 I called toll-free number starting 9:00 a.m. I got recorded message that company starts work at 9:00 a.m. till 9:15 a.m. when someone picked up the phone. I was again assured of prompt service the very same day, but no one turned up. I tried to send an online request. The company alloted BP Number [protected] but no password. It did not accept my request online. What sort of technological giant is this which does not accept an online request?

I am residing in Ambala City.I have purchased a Samsung LCD model No.32D450 32 inches on 10.03.2012 for a sum of Rs.28, 000=00 from Chawla Electronics, Ambala City. After about 10-15 days the screen of my LCD started showing double picture. Immediately thereafter i approached to the dealer who told me to contact the service center. Thereafter i contacted the service centre, Ambala and they demanded ID and the bill of LCD and give me one week time. After one week i contacted the service center they give me one mobile No.[protected] of Mr.Pradeep. Thereafter i contact the above said representative but instead of helping me he started behaving rudely with me on phone and refused to hear my problem and asked to go to consumer forum. This type of behavior is not expected from employee of such a big company. They asked that they will replace my LCD but till date i am running from one post to another and my problem has not been resolved till date. Pls anyone tell me what to do with this situation. I am totally helpless.
                      The worst refrigerator ever...since the year 2009 we bought till now 5 times got many issues we paid 8000/- on that till now again we got the problem today...service is worse...if we won't get proper response in 24 hours we gonna proceed to consumer court for the solution...our patience lost completely...

                        I have purchased C700 Samsung Mobile with IMEI No: [protected] from Big C, Neredmet X Roads, Secunderabad vide their Bill No: 0153517 ( date not noted - it is not more than 3 months). From the beginning the set battery is to be charged twice daily. I donot generally use camera, music or even FM radio. I receive about 10 calls in a day and I too make say another 8 to 10 calls. The total usage will be not more than 20-25 minutes in a day.
                        I charge the battery from 6 am to 7-30 am. It won't last long. I charge again around 2-30 or 3 pm.
                        I used Nokia for more than five years. I never had this sort of complaint. When I contacted the showroom they too could not do anything.
                        Can something be done?

                          Have had this phone for 3 weeks now.It has great features but it has way too many defects.

                          After using it for 3 weeks,it started give me problems.

                          - When I try to dial a number in the keypad,and after dialing like 4 digits it automatically calls,without allowing me to dial the entire number
                          - When browsing through the phone book contacts,it automatically dials a random contact
                          - It does not allow me to search the contacts
                          - And when u switch off and power on the phone,it freezes and there is no way to switch off the phone but to remove the battery
                          - It always freezes like after using it for 15 mins

                          And after spending this much money,it's worthless.Never buy this phone.And they are not even willing to replace the handset.The service people just give a service number and after that they dont even contact you. A prestigious company like Samsung is not providing proper service.Being a loyal customer of Samsung and buying such an expensive phone and now they dont even provide the necessary service.

                            Sir, my self Dinesh Kumar Sharma, R/o A – 766. First Floor. Shastri Nagar. Delhi – 110052. This letter is regarding your unexpected and unmanaged working system and for harrasement of customers. I gave my Samsung mobile phone model : SGH – X660, Sl No. R5TYB85270P, IMEI No. [protected] at your service centre on 22nd September 2008, Work Order No. WA[protected] at “Electro Serve Centre” B – 26. Moti Nagar. Delhi – 110015. I was not able to hear the incoming and out going calls from my mobile. I spent approx two hours there and the guy named Sahil, who inspected my mobile phone, told me we will call you later as we need to check it and we will change the speaker. On second or third day I got a call and they told me it will cost approx Rs. 348.00 or Rs. 368.00. I accepted that and told them to make it done. Then after few days I got a call from them the caller was Mr. Naresh and told me to collect my mobile phone as they told me it is ok now and working. I went there and met Mr. Naresh and he made invoice and told me to pay the amount and he handed over my mobile phone to me. I told him to let me check it and force me to pay but I checked the mobile phone with my sim card in this and it was same as I had given to them, then he gave me another sim card and checked with that and that was not working. I had some little arguments with him and he gave me surety to make it perfect next time. Then approx after a week I got a call again to receive my mobile phone and when I was there again then the mobile phone was in same condition while they told me it is working perfectly. From that day I ranged several times but there was no response and they told me we will inform you and I never got the phone. In the month of March or April 2009 I got some calls from them about my mobile phone but when I told them all previous drama then they gave me surety to call back me after the satisfaction by senior people but I never got any call back. I received a letter of warning on 14th May 2009, that letter addressed to me from the above said service center, “Electro Serve Centre” B – 26. Moti Nagar. Delhi – 110015. This letter was sent to me on behalf and himself by Mr. Manjit Singh. There was two phone numbers given on that letter : [protected] and[protected]. I ranged on this number and after long wait I had a talk with Mr. Gupta and I noticed his behave was not well and he told me Mr. Manjit Singh is not in office. On second day I talked with Mr. Manjit Singh and he told me you can collect your set and he gave me surety that he will check it by him self. I went there and he was not in office. I called him day after and he told me that he will call me by him self. After wait for couple of days I again called him then he told me that mobile phone is in ware house and when he will get it back then he will call me to get it. I haven’t received any call from him till the date of today so if there is any chance to get my mobile phone back then tell me.

                              I had booked a complaint for my faulty Samsung fridge vide complaint no.[protected]. I had requested the company service booking office to expediate the service as i have an infant child and require the services of fridge. i got a proper response from the customer care but at the service centre at Basheer bagh in hyderabad, they dot even talk to you properly, let alone help you, and all this when i am paying for the repair of the product. Either Samsung should vet the kind of people they hire and not keep the disgustingly incompetant and rude people or just shut shop and get out of Indian Market. Till now i used to think that samsung after sales is good, but coming to face with the problem, i can safely say.. its the WORST. I hope the people at senior position at Samsung read this and do somthing about it.

                                  Dear Samsung,
                                  This is Prasanna Venkatesh. Sorry for this big story, I appreciate you for the precious time taken to read this.

                                  We purchased a Washing machine 3 years back, and the Model NO. WA80 HAG and Serial# WO425ZCYC0140P, and the respective BP No[protected]. My father Mr.Lakshmanan have filed a complaint on 3-August-2009, for servicing the washing machine which wasn't working for a week. The customer care engineer reached our premises within 2 days of the complaint registration. He found the PCB and the wires running to the PCB are damaged because of rats (I wonder how samsung designed a washing machine without rat protection for selling it in India)

                                  So far there is no resolution for the call. My father tried following up with the customer for a month, and every time the support person from your Trichy, TamilNadu office promises a call back and that never happened. So he finally gave up and asked me to do followup. I have been calling the customer care and from last Friday, 11th of September and again expecting the call back from Trichy office. But nothing seems to be working.

                                  On Monday, 14th of September, I finally decided to escalate the call to the next level. The customer care executive transferred the call to Mr.Suresh the supervisor and he managed to contact the manager of the trichy office. I had a discussion with the manager and he finally gave me a option that they will replace the washing machine and I have to pay the balance amount after depreciation calculation for the 3 year old junk(washing machine), we were asked to produce the photocopy of the bill to the trichy office, and he will contact us by Tuesday afternoon, 15th of September. I live in Pune, Maharastra and father lives in a small town called viralimalai, I gave the contact numbers of mine and my dad.

                                  We took the photocopy of the bill and we did produce the same in the trichy office on 15th september around 9.30 am. I was waiting till today morning for the call back from your Respected manager of trichy office, but that didn't happen. So again I called the customer care on 16th morning 9.15 and spoke to another Supervisor, and she informed us that the trichy office manager will call us back within 2 hours from now. There were no information from them.

                                  When I came back home around 6.30 pm on 16th september, I phoned the customer care and able to trace Mr. Satish, the supervisor who helped me earlier to contact the trichy office. He again traced the Manager of trichy office, and the Manager have informed that the customer didn't agree for replacement! Why the hell he asked us to provide the photocopy in his office?

                                  While Mr.Satish was informing this to me, suddenly the call got disconnected (Not sure whether it happened accidentally or intentionally) I again called the customer care to connect the call to Mr.Satish and they weren't able to connect it, and they added a note to Mr.Satish for call back before 8pm, 16th of September and that too didn't happen.

                                  Please let me know what we should do with the junk?

                                  Unfortunately I have brought a Samsung washing machine for my house in Pune (WA82 TAL) during December 2008, and my father recently purchased another samsung refrigerator 10 days back :(

                                  Would Mr.Satish call me back?
                                  Would Samsung help me solve this issue?
                                  Who will be responsible for lack of service?
                                  Will Samsung Top management look in to this story?

                                    I had purchased a Samsung fully automatic washing machine model No. WA80D5V/XCL from Girias, Outer Ring Road, Banaswadi on 13th Sept., 2009. A representative from the company came on 15th Sept., 2009 at 7.30 p.m. and installed the machine. When I tried to operate the machine on 16th Sept., 2009 morning it is not working. The Company representative was saying that there is some problem with the machine. After half an hour he said, now it is working. But, when I tried to operate the same in the morning the same is not working.

                                    I contacted Samsung's call centre and registered a complaint, as also with Girias. But nobody is bothered to come and check or replace the machine.

                                      Sub : Regarding Complaint against Samsung Service Centre

                                      M/s. BOSCOS, C-114, Narayana Industrial Area, Phase – I

                                      New Delhi



                                      I am constrained to lodge a complaint against one of your Service Centre M/s. BOSCOS, C- 114, Narayana Industrial Area, Phase – I, New Delhi for the negligency on the part of their Service Engineer while rectifying the fault of my Semi Automatic SAMSUNG Make Washing Machine. I briefly explain my entire problem as under :



                                      I had lodged a complaint over Samsung HOT LINE CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER [protected] vide complaint Number [protected] on 5.9.2009 for rectification of fault of my Semi Automatic Washing Machine which was lying out of order for the last few months. One of your Service Engineer having His Mobile Number [protected] visited my residence on 7.9.2009 and checked the machine thoroughly. As soon as he started the machines by joining the wires which were broken at some places, the machine started working including the dryer with some vibration. The engineer said that it is due to faulty motor the vibration is coming and he has to check all the connections properly. He took more than half an hour in locating the fault but could not trace the problem. My family members objected and asked him not to touch any of the wires if he has no knowledge as otherwise the motor will get burnt but your engineer overlooked their advise and tried to join the two wires wrongly. As soon as he tried to join the two wires, a heavy explosion took place and the motor got burnt. To that my family member shouted on him and asked him why did you do this. To that he said it has all happened because of faulty motors and not by joining the wires and asked me to pay Rs. 1700/- towards the cost of new motors.



                                      Inspite of admitting his fault, he straightaway started blaming us that motor is faulty. He charged Rs. 280/- from me towards his visit fee and I paid for that inspite of his negligency for getting the motors burnt. I parallely got the motors checked up with MOTOR Engineer and he clearly informed that it has all happened due to wrong joining of wire.



                                      I also approached your Authorised Service Centre M/s. BOSCOS for seeking redressal of this grievances but they also overlooked my request and threatened me to lodge a complaint any where I like as they do not bother.



                                      Sir, I would like to inform you that hardly more than a year has elapsed I had got the motor changed and machine was working perfectly but due to broken wires at some places the machine stropped working.



                                      Perhaps you will not believe that I am one of your valued customers for the last 10 years and using SAMSUNG PRODUCTS for the last so many years and such kind of services from your Authorised Service Centre that too to your valued customers cannot be expected from an organization of repute like yours. I know this company since long and was being provided good services in the past without any complaint. This is the first time it has happened.



                                      It is very much painful for me to absorb the cost of New motor that too due to negligency of the engineer who visited my residence. I am afraid if your authosied service centre continued behaving like this, they will tarnish the image of your company.



                                      At last I have nothing to say more but to request your goodself to please look into the matter at your level and take strict action against your Authorised Service centre for providing improper service to the customer as well as direct them to send qualified engineer immediately to my residence and got the machine working by replacing the burnt motor with new one at their cost as I am not going to pay for the cost of the new motor as it has all happened due to negligency of the engineer.

                                      Please note more than 10 days have already elapsed but no action has yet been taken on my above complaint. None of the Engineer from your Authorised Service Centre has visited my residence so far and the complaint is still lying pending. I am being panalised therebeing no fault of mine but only due to negligency of your service engineer who got my motor burnt due to wrong joining of wiring, I am suffering. I am regulary reminding your customer care centre at SAMSUNG Hot line NUMBER [protected] but to no avail.

                                      samsung--washing machine — faulty motor

                                      i mr. rajesh bought a washing machine model no.w/m9200 dated-28/2/08 made a complaint 15days before regarding motor not working my complaint no.is [protected] pls do me a favour in doing complaint as early as possible
