Sir,

I have in my possession at my residence, 3 Samsung 1.5 ton Window Air conditioners. I called Samsung Customer Care Service on August 25th requesting for my 2 Air Conditioners to be serviced (Water washed). Your Department arranged for an engineer by the name of Ramesh from Vijay Ganesh Engineering, No. 2/14, 6th Street, Jai Nagar , Arumbakkam, Chennai - 106.He took care of the water washing of two of the Air Conditioners, one of which had to be installed in the window, which he said, he could not do, but somebody else in the Agency would attend to it I paid for two of the AC service and have receipts for the same. I waited for some days and I contacted Samsung Service Center again, after which they sent a man from Alfa Refrigeration Co., Plot No. 13/11, Brindavan Nagar, 5th Cross street, Valasarawakkam, Chennai - 87. The name of the engineer was Prakash and his mobile number is [protected]. This was taken care of and payment was made on September 1st, 2009. Upon testing the AC, the engineer informed us that the AC was not serviced properly and water had gone into the motor, hence a loud noise was coming from the AC. he informed us that Ramesh, Engineer of Vijay Ganesh Engineering, had not serviced the Air Conditioner properly and the water was in the motor, hence this problem.

I have called Samsung many times regarding this problem since it is your people who have destroyed my Air Conditioner, you have got to rectify it at your expense. There is total irresponsibility on the part of your service people in Chennai. I request that you kindly sort the situation out so that our confidence in the Samsung Company will not be destroyed. I will appreciate immediate action from you regarding this matter.

Samsung Window 1.5 ton AC — Poor Service

Dear Sir,
This is with reference to my BP No [protected] lodged on 24 Apr 08 at 0900 hrs where-in I had specifically told about rectification of two defects in the Window Air Conditioner Model No AWT 18 S1WDB i.e. Inadequate Cooling and Replacement of Temperature/ Thermostat Control Knob. You may like to confirm this since you record your messages for quality purposes. I was told by your service executive that the complaint would be attended to by evening the same day i.e. 24 Apr 08. I had given number of reminders but no service engineer came and attended the complaint and again on 25 Apr 08 I reminded repeatedly 4 to 5 times to your service executives at call centre. Then at around 1900hrs the service engineer came to rectify the defects.
To my astonishment the service engineer who was detailed to attend to my complaints neither carried the Temperature Gauge to show me the grill temperature nor he brought the Temperature Control Knob. On asking the reasons the service engineer said he was not told about the defect by the call centre executives.
I had given the unsatisfactory report and given my remarks in the feedback form. The same can be checked at your end. I am not at all satisfied with the performance though I made the payment. You are requested to detail a suitable service engineer to rectify the defects with proper tools/ gauges and spares failing which I shall be forced to take up the matter with Consumer Court.

POOR SAMSUNG A?C SERVICE BY VIJAY GANESH, ARUMBAKKAM, CHENNAI

Yes the same Problem with me too, I live in Annagar West, possess 1.5 Silver Nano Samsung Window A/c. When I had contacted Samsung service for problem in the A/c, last May 09, the guys from VIJAY GANESH had come & inspected. Mentioned that the Gas was leaking & had to weld the copper pipes. He took the A/c to his shed in Arumbakkam, repaired & bought back after a week, charging s 3000. Then I called them for regular Service in August 09. Now in Oct 09 the same issue arose, with ice formation on the tubes & the gas leak - this time the gas is smelling. We called Samsung service & they sent the same Vijay Ganesh guys again. The visiting technician mentioned that the cipper pipes have developed holes & the gas is leaking.The worst is the explanation the the technician gave was not convincing {he said that the dust from inside of thr room had caused the holes in the coil pipes...how could that be! If that was the case there would not be a single A/C working fine in India & all the A/c companies would have to flee India} He told me that again I have to spend another Rs 200 for welding the pipes. This is not acceptable at all - they repaired the system for the same fault in May 2009, Serviced in August 2009 & now they inspect in Oct 2009 & say that it would cost another Rs 2000.for repairing. I called the Samsung Service office & reported this incident. The reply I got from the Service Desk guy Nagaraj was alrming he said. He said Samsung cannot take any action against Vijay Ganesh- as they are the only Sole agents for Annagar Chennai for Samsung Service. This is totally nonsense - it shows that Samsug is not a process compliant company. They are intersted only in the Sales & not in After Sales serivice.

We bought the A/c in June 2006 - paying the highest price for a Window A/c - Rs 18000.

This is a costly lesson & now I want to suggest to all those who want to buy an A/c thus :

PLEASE DO NOT BUY SAMSUG APPLIANCES AT ALL. GO FOR LG or VOLTAS etc.

Samsung 1.5 Window AC — Poor Customer Service/Request not handled

Hi,

I had logged a request for our 1.5 Ton Window AC to be serviced about 2 weeks ago. On repeated occasions I called and was told the request has been forwarded to the team and they will call at your house within 24 hours. Well, the first 24 hours came and went. I called to check the status and was told that they will forward the request to the team and they will call back in 2 hours. Those 2 hours also came and went. I called back and the same thing happened again. Till date our AC has not been serviced and I have not received a call.

We pay for the services and expect them to be catered too. Why call yourselves to have a 'Customer Service Team' wherein there are no services given to the customer.

I guess I write this with no expectations of a response/action. But, since you have this portal, I thought why not give it a try!

Should I expect my AC to be serviced?
It is true...Even I had the same problem...Samsung service for AC is worst...Everyone should avoid Samsung products then these companies will keep the right service center.

    Booked a fridge at Bismi show room on 29/08/09 and paid money vide invoice no-S9619, and was told that
    the item will be delivered at home on 30/08/09 before 4.PM, but failed to supply.They do not attend if called
    on their telephone. If at all attended will repeat the same false promise.Supply not yet done even after 4

      I purchased a 19 inches lcd monitor on january 2008... six months back i found some display problem in my monitor... And right then i filed a complaint about that...Around 10 technicians have come to my home so far and none of them resolved my problem... And finally i was asked to bring the monitor to the nearest service centre... Two months before i went there with my monitor and they kept my monitor with them for 5 days... After that, i phoned them and they told the display board is defective and it needs to be replaced... They asked me to wait for 20 days to receive a new display board... I did wait... That board didnt match my monitor...So i was asked to wait another 20 days for another new board...But the same result... So finally they promised me to replace mine with a new one and they told, for that i need to wait for 20 days... I waited for a month for replacement but no call received regarding that... So i phoned them and now they telling The replacement approval is declined and they askin me to wait for another 7 days for a new board...
      I have totally lost all my faith on them... My warranty period is still alive... So kindly turn your attention towards this case and solve it ASAP...

      SAMSUNG 19" LCD Monitor — SAMSUNG IS WORST

      hi, we had purchased ONE 19" SAMSUNG MONITOR ( 923 NW) 18 months back. The product has 3 years warranty, and the product is well within the warranty period as of today. In the month of September 2010 the said product started giving problems & one day it was not powering ON and stopped working. As as result we booked a complaint with SAMSUNG customer Care ( CASE ID =[protected]). We did the follow up almost every 10 days to see the progress. Every time we call the CC , we would get the feedback as " Your Complaint is forwarded to Local Service Provider & Engg. will visit your site in 48 HRS", but unfortunately no one turned up till now. We are extremely disappointed with the after sales service of SAMSUNG , and such a Lazy & Careless response is not at all expected from market leaders.
      Kindly see if anything can be done ASAP.

        Hi,

        I purchased a Samsung Mobile phone but after 4 months it went dead. It was within warranty so it gave it for repair to CELL SOLUTION, #46, 1st Cross, Domlur, Bangalore on 27/6/2009. Its been two months and yet not my phone is repaired. Whenever I call them they say the part has not yet come.

        Please help me out.
        Mobile battery not good
        I purchased a L700 mobile on 4/5/2009. Sinc the date of purchase it has network problems. The network doesnot refresh between a weak are and a strong area. I have tried all possible means. The phone has gone to the company worshop 2 times, The soft ware has been upgraded. I have tried the sim card of Idea BSNL and Tata docomo. The service centre has asked me to wait a week they will change the PB. If this does not improve the phone I will have to take recourse to the consumer protection act. Please check if any body else has faced this problem

          Sir, I purchase LCD TV model no. LA 32A550P1RLXL with serial no. 10263PBQ900884M on 26/10/2008 by paying an amount of Rs.41,300/-. From the day of installation of the TV, i am facing problems with it. It is not giving any piece of mind while watching the TC. I have lodged compliants with SAMSUNG India, but of no use.           I have a less than 2 year old 46 " LCD HDTV from Samsung and have the same issues with it not turning on, turns off & on, has pink dots all over the screen, seems like every day its getting worse. I did a lot of research and found that there are hundreds of people out there complaining about the same problem, and that samsung has not taken responsibility for the many similar issues. I just want to know if we are all complaining and are experiencing the same problems, why isn't anybody doing anything about it? I am dissappointed & exhausted from reading that these problems are not addressed when you call samsung customer service, so you know what? I will not even bother if I will get the run-a-round like the rest of them. I will just simpply not buy another samsung tv. I am simply hoping that enough people have complained to warrant some action. I saved my money for a very long time to purchase this 46 " beauty and cannot afford to purchase another ~ except SONY !
          I too have faced a similar problem with the same model Set (Model Id - LA32A550 P1RLXL and product serial number - 10263PCS100066) from one of Samsung dealers in Mumbai, Vijay Sales at Borivali (W) Mumbai on 29th Jan 2009.

          After couple of month’s time however, the television set started developing multiple faults resulting in either loss of picture completely or deteriorated picture quality.

          So far I or one of my family members has reported issues with Samsung support service thrice within the time span of 8 months since purchase. The problems were fixed by Samsung service personnel three times. The dates of visits of the support personnel are 26th May 2009, 10th July 2009, and 07th Sept 2009.

          I was tempted to purchase the Samsung Television Set as I was informed by the dealer that Samsung has used best and latest technology. However, the television set has clearly failed to live up to Samsung reputation of quality and durability. I patiently waited for 8 months for the television set to deliver its promised and expected picture quality, but in vain.

          I have now lost my patience and demanded for replacement of the product (this particular piece) by new television set which was turned down by the dealer.

          Also the warranty on the TV is for 1 yr and Samsung India is going to charge me for any faults post January 2010.

          It's time we have regulations in place on the companies to prevent them from cheating consumer of there rights.

            I have purchased a 320 lts frost free samsung refrigerator in 2007. It develped fault in April 2009, immidiately I had madecomplaint in samsung service centre. Engineer Has visited my place and refilled gas in it. As it was not repaired properly gas again leaked out. Again in July 2009 I complaint the serrive centre for repair of my fridge. Company engineer had taken my fridge to service centre and return it after 2 days. Still my fridge is showing same problem. Now even after several calls to the service centre no one has visited my place for repair of my refrigerator. My complaint No. is [protected]. Mr Promod Kumar Roy, service engineer at Ghaziabad is not showing any interest in repair my refrigerator.
            Pl help us with whom we should contact.

                Dear Sir,

                I purchased a Samsung Mobile SGH M150 from M/s Samarth Communication Hisar (Haryana) on October 09, 2008. This mobile set is not functioning properly from very first day of purchase. The power consumption of this set was high and the battery is exhausted within 24 hours.

                According to the company web site the batter talk time of this model is upto 8.30 hrs and standby time is upto 420 hrs. However, I never got this talk time in the present set. I purchased this model only to get higher talk time so that repeated charging problem is solved.

                I made repeated e mails and visited the company’s customer service centers at Hisar and Jaipur unfortunately the problem still exists with the set.

                Recently the company’s service center at Jaipur told me that they have replaced its mother board which I received on 19/08/2009. After this repair the battery consumption is not improved In fact the consumption is increased. I requested the company to change the set but I have not received any response.                   Dear Sir/Mam,
                  I bought samsung TV last year. 3 days before it stopped working without any reason. There is no sound, no video, nothing. I called the dealer from where i purchased it (I Purchased from Viveks - JPNagar - Bangalore). I put complaint on 31-August-2009. It was supposed to resolve within 24 hours but no one has come to my place yet to repair it. Can you please help me out in this context? And my warranty is expiring on 03-September-2009. Please need immediate response.

                    I am a resident of Mumbai and have purchased the Samsung Star S5233 Mobile which has a box price of Rs11,100 and a warranty. I have received in the box 1 main set, 1battery, 1 travel adapter, 1 stereo headset, 1 data kit and 1 stylus pen
                    BUT THE MOBILE COVER IS MISSING!!!!!!!!!
                    I have come of knowledge that others who have purchased the mobile have received the cover.

                    I would like an answer to this and would request you to look into the matter immediately and compensate me with the cover that is missing with my purchase as soon as possible.
                    I wanted to know wheathr you got the back cover or not, a after complaining to samsung??

                        We had purchased a samsung home theatre HT-P10 around 2.5 years back. Now we had an issue with the remote of the system. Hence we had taken it to the local samsung service centre at Trivandrum. Initially they told that the remote is not repairable and would replace with a new one. After chasing them for around 10 times, they gave me a remote on a billed payment of 490/-. But the same day, I found even this defective and immediately reported and gave it back to the service centre. Since that day, they are giving me the execuse that the stock hasn't arrived and I have chased them again for around 10 to 15 times and also have manually gone there for around 4 to 5 times. Each time they gave the same execuse and now at last they say me that the remote is not available at all anywhere, so I wouldn't get it.

                        I am not sure whether it is the problem with the local customer service people or the samsung company itself. I am disappointed with this lethargic attitude of the customer service centre and also surprised to see that a big electronics company like Samsung is not able to replace a remote for its model.

                          I had purchased a C3035 samsung phone from an outlet in Bangalore on 17/08/2009.The very same night i returned to Chennai and the phone went dead. Wheni took it to Chennai - Mylapore service centre, i had the worst experience of my life. The service centre asked me to go back to Bangalore and get my phone replaced. That being completely out of the question, they asked me to wait for 7 days, saying the part will be replaced . Its been 15 days and all i get are ambiguous answers and irritated personnel asking me to call back later. In addition to this , the Mylapore executives are ill-mannered, indifferent and rude.When i expressed my frustration, they went to the level of threatening me in warning tones. Please help.

                            i don't know how to rectify this problem, but it is only because of your simcard . i had the same problem of showing entry empty in my samsung c5212 which i got rectified when the sim is changed
                            i have a problem in my samsung E250 mobile.this the problem is entry empty.
                            i don.t show my contacts. in my phone book and do not add a new contacts in phone or sim.
                            pls, rectified the problem.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  I purchased a new Samsung metro 3310 from a retail mobile store in karnal, haryana on 28th Aug, 2009.
                                  But facing a problem regarding transfering data & files through bluetooth. Data can be transfered but directly stored to Phone Memory.
                                  And phone memory becomes bull in two or three songs.

                                  And problem is that there is no any option regarding where to save file or either to move it from phone to memory card.

                                  I consult a Samsung service centre on 29th Aug. But not getting a satisfactory responce from your customer care excecutive located in Mughal Karnal area in karnal.

                                  Can u please solve my problem or guide me.

                                  Bcoz i am not satisfied with your company.

                                  in this cell.u can move things to memory card through move option for each and everything stored in phn memory.check it out first properly

                                  Frens, derz no need to install any pc suite for samsung metro 3310 .. only data cable is enuf .. jus go to settings--phone settings--pc connections--mass storage.. game is over :) enjoy. I[censored] ve doubts, be in tuch wit me at [protected]@gmail.com..

                                  i bought samsung metro3310 mobile in hyderabad...thanks to samsung bcoz i found it better when compared to other branded phones in the same price range...but here r few probs with this ph...
                                  1.) while transferring files via bluetooth, files r saved to ph but not to memory card...i hav to copy again from ph to mem card each n everytime which is time taking n very annoying too...while i transfered data via bluetooth for the very first time, i remembered it asked the place to save, whether on the ph or on the memory card.by mistake i selected ph n the prblm is der with me like a dearest friend

                                    i am sorry to inform that i never expected that i would get such a worst response from this product. i puchased this product in 2005 by a source that it was a good product. to my knowledge, this is the worst product i used so far. it has been a defective piece since when i bought it and the dealer promised that it wont repeat again. as the dealer is from a known source. i had to face the problem from then till this date. the service is so terrible that i cannot even mention. even the response is so worst that i have nothing to say about.
                                    from past 6 months i was facing the problem an d after number of complaints they took the machine to the service centre. after 4 months my product returned to me saying it got delayed. on the best service u provided, it was back to problem in 2 days and after speaking directly to the dealer, it was taken back to the service centre again. after a 2 months, i got the machine back. the same problem again. from past 12 days i am calling the toll free chennai and they are convincing me that they will get back to me in 2 days or 2 hours and it has been 12 days from then. they kept telling me they would be there before 8 p.m and it never happened. overall all these experience 1 thing is sure that i completelt lost confidence on the brand as well as the service too. i will never or ever recommend this product to anybody.

                                    samsung washing machine front load — no response from the service centre

                                    as i mentioned in the earlier mail that there was no response in the service. i once again put across this issue so that the action would be taken at the earliest.
                                    my complaint number is [protected]. this complaint number is given to me from past 15 days and there has been absolutely no response. there is a limit of patience for anybody. when that crosses, it would get worst.
                                    i am really sorry to tell you that i am so unhappy with the product as well as the service provided by samsung.

                                      I bought Samsung S3500 on 11Sep09. When switched off and on the next day, the unit does not recognize the 2GB memory card. Still trying to replace the unit by contacting the dealer / service center who also unable to rectify the fault even after reinstalling the software. Already sent a email to support.[protected]@saumsung.com. Hope, quick action will be taken for replacement. Basically, Samsung products are good; sometimes, problem may occur -- not only samsung, but for any product. Now, it is matter of customer service after-sales which is very important.
