I have in my possession at my residence, 3 Samsung 1.5 ton Window Air conditioners. I called Samsung Customer Care Service on August 25th requesting for my 2 Air Conditioners to be serviced (Water washed). Your Department arranged for an engineer by the name of Ramesh from Vijay Ganesh Engineering, No. 2/14, 6th Street, Jai Nagar , Arumbakkam, Chennai - 106.He took care of the water washing of two of the Air Conditioners, one of which had to be installed in the window, which he said, he could not do, but somebody else in the Agency would attend to it I paid for two of the AC service and have receipts for the same. I waited for some days and I contacted Samsung Service Center again, after which they sent a man from Alfa Refrigeration Co., Plot No. 13/11, Brindavan Nagar, 5th Cross street, Valasarawakkam, Chennai - 87. The name of the engineer was Prakash and his mobile number is [protected]. This was taken care of and payment was made on September 1st, 2009. Upon testing the AC, the engineer informed us that the AC was not serviced properly and water had gone into the motor, hence a loud noise was coming from the AC. he informed us that Ramesh, Engineer of Vijay Ganesh Engineering, had not serviced the Air Conditioner properly and the water was in the motor, hence this problem.
I have called Samsung many times regarding this problem since it is your people who have destroyed my Air Conditioner, you have got to rectify it at your expense. There is total irresponsibility on the part of your service people in Chennai. I request that you kindly sort the situation out so that our confidence in the Samsung Company will not be destroyed. I will appreciate immediate action from you regarding this matter.

Samsung Window 1.5 ton AC — Poor Service
Dear Sir,This is with reference to my BP No [protected] lodged on 24 Apr 08 at 0900 hrs where-in I had specifically told about rectification of two defects in the Window Air Conditioner Model No AWT 18 S1WDB i.e. Inadequate Cooling and Replacement of Temperature/ Thermostat Control Knob. You may like to confirm this since you record your messages for quality purposes. I was told by your service executive that the complaint would be attended to by evening the same day i.e. 24 Apr 08. I had given number of reminders but no service engineer came and attended the complaint and again on 25 Apr 08 I reminded repeatedly 4 to 5 times to your service executives at call centre. Then at around 1900hrs the service engineer came to rectify the defects.
To my astonishment the service engineer who was detailed to attend to my complaints neither carried the Temperature Gauge to show me the grill temperature nor he brought the Temperature Control Knob. On asking the reasons the service engineer said he was not told about the defect by the call centre executives.
I had given the unsatisfactory report and given my remarks in the feedback form. The same can be checked at your end. I am not at all satisfied with the performance though I made the payment. You are requested to detail a suitable service engineer to rectify the defects with proper tools/ gauges and spares failing which I shall be forced to take up the matter with Consumer Court.
