[Resolved]  Shopping. Rediff.com — Cheating

I trusted Rediff Shopping, but, I am CHEATED by Rediff Shopping. I ordered a gold plated bracelet (kada) under Rediff Shopping under Order No. 5086935 and paid Rs.220/- by credit card. The order according to Rediff Shopping was "Mamta Arora" at address - A 204 phase II metro Palm grove apts Somajiguda Hyderabad 500082, Hyderabad - 500082, Andhra Pradesh, India. This vendor did not deliver the gold plated kada. When I checked the Rediff Shopping Track My Order site, it says that the product is delivered. IT HAS NOT BEEN DELIVERED AT ALL...I have asked the vendor "Mamta Arora" by 2-3 emails as to how can this be delivered when no one in my family accepted this, I wrote to [protected]@yahoo.com, but, I did not get any response from them even aftter 2-3 emails. The contact no for the vendor [protected] is FAKE (I have tried so many times - it does not connect !!) ... So in all possibilities the email ID is also FAKE. The consignment in Rediff Shopping Track My Order site[protected] is also FAKE... THE ENTIRE THING IS FRAUD !!! I gave a bad feed back in Rediff Shopping Customer Care and urged them to call me on my cell (mentioned in the feed back) but not even the Rediff Shopping Customer Care looked into that... I am forced to believe that not only is the vendor "Mamta Arora" but also Rediff Shopping have teamed to CHEAT THE CONSUMERS... I had very high hopes from Rediff Shopping, but their "no response" and "wrong inputs in their site" forced me to make this statement. If they can make me go wrong and ensure that I get my order, I would be the happiest person, and, not only would I recommend Rediff Shopping to my friends but would shop even more from them. BUT AS OF NOW I AM DEPRIVED OF CONSUMER RIGHTS AND PLEDGE TO HELP ME AND TAKE NECESSARY ACTIONS AGAINST "MAMTA ARORA" [VENDOR] & REDIFF SHOPPING [PORTAL] BOTH under Consumer Rights Protection Act & Cyber Laws...

i fully agrre with the above since i also have very similar bad experience with rediff shopping. rediff is a big cheat and is being run by 420s. there is no one to be accounted, no physical office, no phone numbers and there is no response to e mails and feedbacks.
Their vendors are still worst who have all the above qualities plus phone numbers which does not work and probably their offices and addresses are also fake
what is more surprising is that inspite of getting cheated many o[censored]s still fall prey to these stunts.
Hope I had seen this complaint before i placed an order.
hope at least few of the prospective rediff cutomers see this complaint and responses.
There should be some forum or somebody to educate people and to take action against these people.

I fully agree with you. I too was cheated by rediffshopping. They never answer your mail. You will never get proper address or contact number of the vendor. rediff itself is not providing its own customer care contact number. All you have to do is post your feedback and wait for their mercy. I suggest all not to buy any product from rediff shopping. Products are not genuine even if you get finally.

Rediff Shopping — corrupted business criminals.

I am Sandeep from Moula-ali, Hyderabad, Please refrain from using online shopping portal like REDIFF SHOPPING.
Rediff shopping is a complete fraud, and my case is a burning example, i placed an order for 2 GB shuffle with order no. 5351286 and i paid Rs 710 as COD, After like a couple of weeks i receive my package and when i opened the shipment i was completely astronished to see that the package contains 1 GB shuffle instead of 2 GB with poor sound quality and a headphone which will make your ears to use a sound magnifier, and it never runs more than 5 mins, even the gadget is not looking like a new one, i bought it for my mom, as a mother's day gift and i was not able to gift that crap to my mom, its ruined my expectation and my emotions, I know they have cheated me, and there is nothing much i can do. i reported the incident atleast 10 times through there website and am yet to get a response from them.

It was a bad experience for me and i will never use any kind of online shopping portal, All are craps and cheaters and liers. They all are a corrupted business criminals..

Hi, I totally agree with you, these are fraudulent. Yesterday I received the parcel I have purchased from them, a 2 GB IPOD, they claim to be aluminum case and 2008 stylish. The design and description they gave on the product pages lacks from what I have received. First they sent me a GREEN GAY COLOR type of IPOD that doesn't have any earphone nor user manual as they told in the contents. PLUS This IPOD which is what I didnt want doesnt work properly, it hangs everytime i play song... I wasted 1475/- ruppees for this ... And Unless they replied me positively I'm gonna defame their products...

They are literally CHEATERS...

PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING ON REDIFF SHOPPING AND BE CAUTIONS IN OTHER WEBSITES TOO... DON'T TRUST MUCH IN ONLINE SHOPPING...

PEOPLE GET CHINESE PRODUCTS AT less than 50/- and makes large profits selling at 1475/- and products of which do not work properly...
Just style copied for ORIGINAL apple's ipod and nothing else... sound quality is horrible... it is even better to listen to radio...

This is my strong advice... people should boycott rediff and their products...

I am registered consumer in the"thehindushopping.com" c/o Fabmall house, Door No: 673,10th main, 7th cross, HAL IInd stage, Indiranagara, Bangalore-56008. On 2nd october 2009 (order No 45401) I have ordered for a nokia mobile handset and paid through sbivisa credit card. But due to my dismay I am unable to get my goods. Their phone numbers[protected] and[protected] were not answering my calls after false promises. They have not sent the ordered goods or refunded my money or they answering my calls nor they are receiving my e-mails. This seems to be pure cheating. Please help me to get my goods. KIDS LAP TOP sale in the THE HINDU

I have also booked the KIDS Lap top for my kid. still now i have not received yet. on Registering ticket they given reply after 5 days that item will be dispatched only on 24th, why it is like that? I have place this order on the thought the THE HINDU group is behind this onlineshopping.
I have placed the order on 11/4/2010 itself. Order No.HI[protected], still now i have not received the same. I would like to inform eveybody looking at this complaint, to take care while order anything. I doubt whether it can be fake also. Nowadays even bigger groups also doing like this is very very sad to hear.

i too faced a similar issue where i ordered one product and got another from Mamta Arora thru rediff ...the cust service mailed me the address of Mamta and asked me to send the set back to tht addressand then they will send mine lets see or i will drag rediff to comsumer court as im a lawyer by prof and aware of my rights, , , RADHIKA

Rediff is a big cheater...i also experience the same...ordered for toy parachute...lost hopes when i din't recieve even after 2 weeks, finally one day i got some other product with the title on courier box toy parachute, after paying when i opened its a junk water pipe, my son got disappointed, after so many mails rediff apologised for it, and ready to replace it, i asked to replace my amount, which is Rs 179/, rediff agreed it, but i've to spend 125/ courier charges, rediff also agreed to pay the courier amount, but i got check of onlly 179/, now they are not responding for any mail...

i have purchased the product International Branded Cargo Shorts 30 with order number :6396953 on8/4/2011. I received the product on 18/4/2011 at 2:00 PM by Aramex courier.The size I ordered was 30 and what I got was 32.And after what i have gone through What i get is the product of a different description.I have purchased from many other online shopping sites.But this was the worst experience.I have lost 440 rs hence and they are not responding to any of the customer care mails that i have sent.very poor service.They must be sued

the quality of product is very cheap.colour deffrence. i don"t like this product
