i have bought three months ago sony ericsson mobile model no.j120i from tumkur karnatka.this set has hanging problem from the beginning.i have sent it service centre at delhi and patna.but there is not any improvement it just same as before.i want to replace it .as a student i can not visit service centre alwayas. so i have faith in your company.so take appropriate action immediately.i will oblige to you.

Sony Ericsson J120i — Not replaced

I got a Mobile at Univercell Chennai, Velachery. I got this mobile on Saturday 28th june aroud 5:00 pm in the evening. After reaching the home, I realized that the mobile which I got is a defective one (the problem is the sound/tone is not emerging out), the next day I came to Univercell and said see the tone is not coming. They did something and the sound was ok there and I came back to home with the mobile and the reason they gave me is there is some problem with the settings and that is changed. Because before taking the mobile to univercell I checked all the options in the mobile and I never found any changes in settings, but anyway I came back.

After three days we found again the sound is not coming, as I could not go to the univercell on week days again I visited the univercell on sunday 6th July, and said this is not the problem with the settings, this is the problem with the mobile and one which you gave me is a defective piece, kindly change me the mobile. But, those guys say that once sold is sold we can't change the mobile, you better go to the service center as you have the warranty period. After a long conversation they accepted to do the service from there side and gave me a standalone mobile.

Even though I am not convinced, because I got a new mobile and found it is a defective one and went back to them on the next day and they cheated me in some way and again when I found the same problem again they say they will not replace the mobile, it looks they are cheating the people and selling some defective mobiles and not answering properly to that.

Kindly get into the issue and get me a favorable reply, again I like to stress that why should I go for a service for a new mobile which I got, If that is defective ultimately they have to replace the mobile. But they failed to do that...

    think SONY is a product known for its quality & innovation. but the recent experience makes me to rethink about my stand. I bought a SONY Ericsson z550i handset in noida, INDIA. less than a week, the handsfree developed a fault and i take to the store where i purchased t. they direct me to a service center. there they have taken some documents (proof of purchase) and told that the handsfree will be replaced in a week or not more than 10days. but i received no communication. when i contacted them they said there is no response from the company. after that i contacted the corporate office in the above ph no. the line is busy for more than 30mins. after that one lady picked up the call and asked for additional details like phone id, which i don't know what it is. she again directed me to the service center. already i spoke to the service center 4times on that day. till now i have no t received my handset .in the service center i have found numerous people complaining about that model. but most of the sets are less than a month old. but for me its less than a week. how bad it is. SONY ERICsson products are scrap & lemon. even a child doesn't like to play with that phone. the customer service is really poor. what for the company is, if its not caring its customers.

    Now i would like to know what is the procedure to return this set. the quality and service provider both are very poor.
    Never ever purchase Sony Ericsson products!

    hi i am ronak from mumbai. i have purchase z550i on 1/12/2007 after 3days problem started coming like i cant set themes, cant install software or games etc. and service center of mulund is of great pain. but service center of ghatkopar is nice.

    I'm very much disappointed with my mobile which is W550i .
    I bought this mobile in the Year 2007 (Dt.[protected] for Rs.10, 200/-. It gave me a wonderful service till May 2008.On 31 May I found that, it was not working (Switching on) and i went to SonyErricsson Service center (which is near by Yashoda Hospital, Patny Center, Secunderabad, India).

    Service Center people said that there was a Virus problem. It 'll be resolved in a day or 2. After 2 days i visited the ServiceCenter.They said there was a problem with the On/Off button and as well as with the flux. They said that the amount for this would be Rs.1350/- and service charge Rs270/- Total Rs.1620/- . I said ok . After a week or so i called them over phone i came to know that it has got a big problem with the mother board. It costs around Rs.4000/- they said.
    They advised me to sell away this mobile as it was half of the mobile cost. I went to a "Mobile Store"(Name itself) which is having a facility to exchange mobiles.They gave me a bumper offer to this W550i mobile(exchange price).The amount was Rs.1000/-. I didnot even believe this exchange price. As last year[protected] i bought this for 10, 200/- . So i'm kindly requesting you to please give a valuable suggestion or remedy regarding your Sony Erricsson (Model W550i)mobile. Shall i buy another Sony Erricsson model and dig my grave.( sorry if i'm wrong said). I would be very much thankful to you if you could respond to my mail. Otherwise suggest me whom could i approach(superior).

    Dear all,
    I am mailing you a complain about the service offered by SONY ERICSON SERVICE CENTERcenter at E-17, Lajpat Nagar-II, ND-24(INDIA). i have submitted my cell on[protected] and the complaint number AND REF NUMBER for the same is SEO[protected].The guys there provide the worst service I ever found. The guys their are unskilled and do not know how to meet the requirement of customer. I went for my cell delivery on the date provided for service center, however, mobile was not ready to be delivered. The guy there assured that they will deliver it at my home. however, cell was not delivered, I went yesterday on 30th march for mobile, however, the faults in mobile were not rectified, at the same time, basic functions like Bluetooth and keypad were not working.It seems that sony Ericsson India is not ready to provide good service and hope to get more share in Indian cell market. Do you think with this kind of service Sony will be able to beat Nokia. Never. You will fin many such cases at that service ceneter as in botjh the visit I came to meet personal who submitted there mobile 7 months before an are still waiting for the phone to get corrected. I would suggest you to look into the matter as the company is providing very poor service quality.
    I feel sad that I purchased a Sony Ericsson mobile rather than Nokia that provie better service.

      Sir,

      I have purchased one handycam NO. SONYDCR-DVD708 from Ambika Enterprise, SCO 42, Sector-11, Panchkula on 12.01.08. The distributor confirmed that one of their representative will visit our premises and will give DEMO for the use of handycam. I am sorry to say despite my telephone reminder no body has turned up till date.

      It is really surpirising to see that if a company like yours appointing such type of distrbutors, then you are spoiling your brand image by not providing after sale service and making false promises with customers. If nothing has been heard from you within a day or two, I will be forced to take some serious action or going to the court for making false promises at the time of sales and not fulfilling after that.

      I am owning a sony handycam, Model:DCR-HC42E.i bought it on 19/10/2005 from pankanj electronics 9 DAV School Building Yusuf Sarai New Delhi-6.
      Within this much timei had faced so much problem with this handycam, its just because of the very poor after sales service i must say.when i gave my handycam for service for the first time, i got it back with a new problem.its annoying that i still face this problem just because of bad service done.
      The problem i face is the LCD display dissapears in between shooting and the colour of the footage changes.For solving this problem i have to visit the service station each and every time it occurs, because of this i hardly can shoot anything important and i missed many of importanat shots, which caused me hell lot of problems.
      This is not what we expect from a company like Sony, this way it is loosing its realibility amongst the customers.
      In my case do something seriously as my handycam is in warranty period is going to over.Hope Sony will do justice to my problems.or else i have to seek legal help.

        hi my name is kusum i m using vodafone service on my cell phone. i was going for my tution classes and on my way to tution someone has stolen that phone. i complained about that to pcr but nobody responded finely. i called up customer services to block the sim as well but as per my knowledge they can also trace my phone through its IMEI #, even if someone changes its sim card.           I HAVE LODGED A COMPLIED AGAINST MY SONY ERICSSON MOBILE P1I YESTERDAY THROUGH THIS SITE BUT TODAY IT HAS DISAPPIED FROM THE LIST

          COMMUNICATION BETWEEN MYSELF AND SONY ERICSSON CUSTOMER CARE

          This is in continuation to our various e-mail correspondences regarding supply of faulty mobile handset on 29.11.07. As you know, the purchase of the new set was made on 29th November 07 and it is more than a month we have been corresponding.

          I do not understand the need of such a Correspondence. I am not getting proper response from the dealer. Please understand that I have spent Rs. 20,000 not to get an apology or solace from you but to get a faultless set. Please do not try to complicate the issue by using routine commercial language.

          What I want is absolutely a new set repeat NEW SET not a repaired one as I did not use your set not for a day.

          Please take request as serious and ask your Udaipur dealer to provide me a new set forthwith. If you fail to do the needful immediately (within 48 hours) I will have no other option but to initiate legal proceedings against your dealer and you besides warning the people through local vernaculars not to become a victim of Sony Erickson.

          This is in continuation to our various e-mail correspondences regarding supply of faulty mobile handset
          on 29.11.07. As you know, the purchase of the new set was made on 29th November 07 and it is more
          than a month we have been corresponding.

          I do not understand the need of such a correspondence. I am not getting proper response from the dealer.
          Please understand that I have spent Rs. 20,000 not to get an apology or solace from you but to get a faultless
          set. Please do not try to complicate the issue by using routine commercial language.

          What I want is absolutely a new set repeat NEW SET not a repaired one as I did not use your set not for a day.

          Please take request as serious and ask your Udaipur dealer to provide me a new set forthwith. If you fail to do
          the needful immediately (within 48 hours) I will have no other option but to initiate legal proceedings against your
          dealer and you besides warning the people through local vernaculars not to become a victim of Sony Erickson.

          hii... i'm using w350i. but now i'm facing some problems in my mobile that it get suddenly switch off and again it switch on itself and sometimes it shows insert sim. but i've already service mobile once.. before one month due to display problem in banglore.           I have lodged a complaint for change and repair of my mobile W 350i CASE ID FE[protected] ON 26/03/09 and placed order for key pad order no. SEO 09 DE 210657 ON 16/03/09.I don't want to repair the phone as it is taking too much time. I want to replace the cell. I have purchased it in Sept 08. It is in warranty period.           I bought One Sony ericsson mobile (MODEL : W302) bearing IMEI No.[protected] on 3.3.09 at M/s. Uniq cell 5/5, Nirmala Building, Fort station Road, Trichy - 620 002, Tamil Nadu, India for Rs. 7, 400/-. From the very beginning to till now I faced problems only in the mobile and did not use for my personnel.

          At first I got " No Network Problem "/ " No bar Indication" in mobile. So I gave it for service at M/s. ACCEL FRONTLINE SERVICES (P) LTD., A-16, I FLOOR, 1st Cross, Thillai Nagar,
          Trichy, Tamil Nadu, India. e-mail ID : [protected]@accelfrontline.in. They serviced and called me to take the mobile. Once again the problem occured on 11.05.09. So, I took back the mobile for servicing on 11.05.09. On 04.06.09 they returned my mobile after serviced. But the problem was not solved. So, I gave it for servicing on 05.06.09 and got the mobile after servicing on 12.06.09. Still now the problem was not solved in my mobile and I did not used this mobile for last 2 months, it is only at service station. Last 2 days the mobile got another problem that is the battery cannot be charged. So, I given the Mobile @ M/s. Uniq cell, Trichy where I bought the mobile. But I can't hope they will rectify the problem. So pl. advice them to give new mobile as replacement for the same. pl. note the mobile is under WARRANTY.

          Kindly do the needful. Your immediate action in this regard is useful to me. We need your co-operation in this matter. Thanking you,

          sony ericsson / mobile — Brand New Mobile device become faulty

          Respected Sir/Madam..

          I purchased SE Xperia Mini Pro (Model SK17i) on 15th.Aug.11 in Pune from RELIANCE DIGITAL ELECTRONICS RETAIL OUTLET. within 3 weeks, on 5th.Sep.11 its touch function stopped suddenly & it became a dead mobile. How come a faulty piece is passed through SE's Quality Control. I took the device to The Authorized Service Center "Accel Service Center" immediately on 6th.Sep.11. They said that part relating to Touch needs to be replaced & it will take around 8 days. I asked about replacement of the device since it was just 3 weeks since purchase. They said replacement is done only if the device gets faulty within 7 days of purchase & also advised to call Customer Support for replacement. I called up Service Center after 4-5 days. They said "Part is not available. It is ordered from Company's Chennai Plant. Till today i.e. 09.10.2011, Service Center's answer is same.
          Simultaneously I called up SONY ERICSSON CUSTOMER SUPPORT on[protected] & told the story. After 2-3 calls, I was told my complaint has been escalated to OUTBOUND TEAM. I requested to connect to personnel of that team. Firstly I spoke to Shri.Rahul Sharma. He assured me to call me back next day. He didnt call me till date. Then I spoke to Shri.Gehlot of the OUTBOUND TEAM & repeated the story. Then onward I was being told daily that I will get a call within 48 working hrs.
          From last week I was being told that I will get my device before 10th.Oct.11. Yesterday also I called up SERVICE CENTER, but got the same answer that part is not received. I told Service Center Personnel that Support Team says I will get my device before 10th.Oct.11. She said I should call Customer Support. I called Customer Support & spoke to Ms .Kanchan. She said wait 2 days. Yesterday again I called Customer Support & asked the personnel that How will I get my device before 10th. as today is Saturday. I didnt get the mobile. Tomorrow is Sunday i.e. holiday. Then How will I get before 10th.? Means the Company has not kept its promise.
          Simultaneously Im sending mails also on SONYERICSSON.COM also posted my story on SONY ERICSSON's Facebook Wall. But apart from getting different Ticket IDs Im not getting any positive reply.

          Since beginning Im requesting them for replacement of my device. I think I should get a replacement since a Brand New Device became faulty. Or else my money should be refunded.

          Kindly peruse my complaint dated 09.10.2011 regarding Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro Brand New Mobile device becoming faulty within 3 weeks of purchase. In my complaint I had stated that since last week Customer Support had promised that I will get my device on or before 10th.Oct.11, but today when I called Service Center 1st. they said the mobile is still not ready. Then I called Customer Support and I was shocked to hear one Shri.Omkar Sharma stating that "the device is pending for part". He said my case is escalated to one Shri.Ankit Jain. I asked for his number but he refused. Then he assured to call back in 1/2 an hour, but he did not call. I called after 45 mts. Shri. Tilak was on line. I gave the ultimatum that since I did not get my mobile on 10th.Oct. as promised, I will have to think of other options for justice.
          Later, one Shri.Dheeraj called from Customer Support to tell me that It will take 5-7 days. I said nothing has been done in 1 month, how can you say that it will be done in 5-7 days?. I asked him that since the part is not available, why I cannot get replacement. How a device is launched without its parts not making available? I also said that the company prefers to stick to Policy rather than Customer Satisfaction. I also asked for refund of the money I spent. But they are neither ready for replacement nor ready to refund my money back.
          I have spent almost Rs.2000/- for calling Service Center & Customer Support since 5th.Sep.11.

          Since 6th.Sep11 till today my newly purchased mobile is with the Service Center.
          TILL TODAY NEITHER MY DEVICE IS REPAIRED, NOR REPLACEMENT IS GIVEN, NOR MY MONEY REFUNDED.
          Its mental harassment.
          Hopeless service by Sony Ericsson.
          Sony Ericsson not keeping promises.

            I am Arindam Roy, your Mobile customers. I have a Sony Ericsson Mobile set. Model No-J300I.
            .My SE J300I was intermittently giving charging problem for past 6 months. Then it had warrantee period. Once in a while, it was not getting charged. I took the phone to the SE service centre (see bellow-details service center address) during Feb -07.
            The service engineer heard the complaint,(Complain No-15055) checked the phone & charger and advised that we changed this set through SE company and they took this set for changed and gave a lower price SE (J200I) mobile set for some days. But now complete one year they not gave us Mobile. When I will get mobile set to the service center all time they turn back and they show many reason.
            So, my kindly request to you please solves my problem. And bake my SE mobile set.

              I bought a new Sony Ericsson Mobile Phone (Model P1 I) Dealer M/s. Hind Gallery, Shop No. 6, Town Hall Link Road, Udaipur on 29.11.07 vide their bill No. 818 for Rs.20900/-. However, I could not use the mobile for a single day as it was having no. of problems such as Hanging, Touch screen not working, Data USB not connecting etc. Thus I rushed back to the dealer M/s. Hind Gallery who directed me to M/s. Accel Frontline Ltd, 329-330 3rd Floor, Anand Plaza, Udaipur who are the service agent of the company.

              Since it was a brand new model and did not work for a day I told him that I need another set and not a repaired one. Still he insisted me to give it to the service centre. At that time I had left with no option but handed over the set to their service Agent M/s. Accel Frontline Ltd vide their receipt No. 112737 dtd 01.12.2007

              Now a fortnight has passed neither I have been given a new set nor am informed about the plight of my mobile set.

              Being a reputed company, I have trusted on this product and I am sure that they will do the needful to keep my confidence intact.

              I m IT person and i m working with TAJ Groups and i was given my mobile sony W700i in service center (SALORA) near Ranapratap Road Lucknow (u.p) and it's under warrenty they told me it's take a time for 1 or 2 days but today it's almost 8 days left but they are not able to return my mobile and days by days they will says it take time, it's take time. how much time it will take please tell me last 8 days i m moving without mobile how it's difficult for IT person, that is why i m not purchasing sony model because i know that after sale service of sony is so bad, but my friend force me, plz do some this otherwise i'll forword this complain to sony CO

              Sony Ericsson/Mobile — faulty mobile

              I have bought a mobile of Sony mobile model S-302 from Pradeep Telecom Add. - 2/471 Vishnupuri Ramghat Road Aligarh(U.P.), after three days the display was disturbed and everything gone disappear When I bought this one it wasn't in sealed condition and he assured me that seal was broken only for customer showing purpose.).When I went to the shop he refused to talk to me and said that I have to go service centre directly & we are not responsible for it.
              The service centre personal that time keep my mobile but today after ten days they didn't take any action.
              The shopkeeper not hearing me and saying I can't do anything.

              Please do something in my favour.
              Mobile Defective and Bad Service from the sony erricson service centre

              I would like to inform you of my dissatisfaction with the Sony Ericssion P1i mobile phone and the service provided.Since I have bought this phone, it has been working well, until recently it stopped functioning normally. I returned the phone to your customer service(Trident United Products Private Limited Bangalore, Koramangala) on 20th January. The customer service representative informed me that the phone mother-board has to be replaced and they would make the phone ready in 10 days.

              1 Month later, the phone is still not working.I received my phone with the motherboard replaced on Feb 18, Within 2days i had to revisit the service center as the phone started hanging frequently.
              The manager promised me that he will replace it. But now they tell they haven't committed any thing like that

              On each occasion they have kept the phone and apparently worked on it with no luck. Their attempts to resolve the problem have not been satisfactory and they finally claim that there is nothing more they can do to help me.Even the customer care department[protected] wasn't able help me and solve the problem.

              And now they claim that they need 4 more working days to give back my cell. They need 2 months to solve a simple problem.And trust me guys they are meant to make false promises please don't trust them.

                my digital camera of sony model-DSC-500 was submitted to sonycare francise(smilecare0 at dehradun on 17 dec07 for picture shaky and blur. they sent it to delhi ofice for further repairs. later on when contacted , was told that the defect is not repairable hence a replacement is being sent. this was 20 days back. whenever i contact them i am told that the replacement has been sent to gaziabad office, whose persons are on some sort of trainig , hence ur camera is not being despatched. it seems that sony india with such a big banner is short on its claims!they are working like indian babus- delay tactics. sony needs to pull up its socks and improve customer care.

                I wish to inform that u. i have purchase a new mobile SONY XPERIA C4 DUAL and purchase date is 22/07/2015 in digital mobile collection allahabad.

                My problem is I have activated my xperia protected feature through by this mail id pankajsingh.[protected]@gmail.com But my mobile after restart automatically protected mode is on.so i am try my mail id and password but my mobile authenticated not support n user name and password is wrong to display. so i have contact toll free no.[protected] and your help line support officer asking to me piese contact our near service centre and repair mobile software and deactivate protacted mode and also given a TICKET ID IS [protected]. After that I reached the near service centre in Varanasi and given my mobile and discuss protected mode feature related problem service centre respsnist. but service centre respsnist lady asking to me without open my mobile sim lock is damaged and void my mobile warranty without any xperia support engineer and given a ticket id is [protected] and W[protected].and date is 08/08/2015 also receiving mansion sim lock issue not a protected lock issue. then I contact next days to service center so asking to me respsnist your mobile is out of warranty and u will given a charges 9400rs replaced your mobile PCB. Then I rejected Jenrette your service centre estimate 9400rs and request to your service centre please resolve the my application protected lock. my mobile was also work two sim but due to application lock my mobile given a service centre. my one sim also insert in mobile and my mobile collect service centre. But today date 21/08/2015 I contact to service centre for related my mobile application problem resolve. so I ask to me your service center person your mobile is not repair so u have collect mobile without repair otherwise u repair mobile so u will give a charges for replaced mobile PCB.

                So please resolved my problem as soon as possible.

                  have a digitalcamera sony Model DSC-500 serial no.0387780 under wty.had sent the digicam to sony care franchise, smilecare 58 rajpur rd dehradun, on 17 dec 07, for picture blur and shaky. was told camera sent to delhi office for repair; later told that being replaced as can't be repaired; been waiting for replacement- told by local sonycare that replacement not being sent as pers at ghazizbad are on some sort of training. have been speaking to delhi office but without any response. sony talls tall but in actual very smallin its calaims about good customercare.would would beleie them -for the ads that give! donot they deservea an aplplogy and sent the products back soon. we have heard govt offices working thus. but bigs houses like sony???need to improve their after sale service their sales deptt requires a big kick on their toooo a big backside.

                    I am using sony ericson w810i from last one year.From last one month I was getting problem as the keypad and menu keys.,joystic were not working so I had given it to service centre at bangalore at below address aft confirming it from sony cutomer care no.
                    Smart care service.

                    As I had given the mobile on 14th Jan,08 I was told to collect it aft three days.When i went on 18 th jan to collect it they told me that it's have some motherboard problem so i need to wait for ten days i.e they will replace the mother board and give me back on 24 th.
                    As today I went to collect it they have another story.Nobody from customer care is sure when it will be repairied and given back to me.
                    Also whenever i am calling them either nobody is picking up the dam phone after twenty thirty rings and if by chance sombody will pick up they don't know anything.Even one mr. maninan had given me his mobile no but he is never answering his phone.

                    i don't know what to do as I asked them to give me back my phone without repairs.

                    i[censored] have any suggesition or know sony ericsson's main management people oprating in india or elsewhere whom i can contact via mail pls provide me mail ids.So i can write back to them about haraas ment i am suffering .

                      Hello,

                      This is to bring to your notice that I had purchased a brand new handset in the month of Aug 07 from one of Sony Ericsson's reputed dealer in Goa...Suddenly yesterday it started giving me an error "Insert Sim"...I reinserted the sim and tried it many a times but failed. The phone was just not working.
                      I took this handset to the dealer and asked him to check it up...he inserted another sim in the handset and it started working. He told me that the problem lies with the sim card so to take it to Idea people and they should change it...

                      I went to Idea office and showed them the sim...they inserted another sim in the handset however it was not working...They said the sim is perfectly working fine and they should get the handset to the service center went ...

                      I thereafter went to the Sony Ericsson service center and showed them the handset....
                      The lady sitting at the counter checked the handset response by inserting a sim to it and said it needs to be deposited as they will have to check further ...and she insisted that the handset also has corrosion hence it will not be treated in the warranty period and I will have to pay a charge for it...

                      I asked the lady to check it properly as it was a brand new handset which i had brought, how could it get corroded all of a sudden ??? There is no corrosion in my handset as was being insisted by the lady.

                      On my telling her to try again, she inserted another sim card in the handset and it started working again and i took the handset back.

                      The lady canceled my complaint however to my surprise she asked me to sign on a form which stated that as the handset had a corrosion, hence my further warranty stands canceled...

                      She went into an argumentative mode and also called another person who also started explaining me that as the handset had corrosion hence the warranty now stands canceled. Neither did i sign on the form nor did i sign the cancellation papers.

                      My question is -

                      1) Are the Sony Ericsson people at your service center trained enough to handle customer complaints sensitively and this being the only service center in Goa??
                      2) Do they know their processes well ??
                      3) They don't know how to behave with a customer and handle them.
                      4) They are not aware of the functioning of the mobile gadgets otherwise how would they have made such a silly mistake.

                      Request you to please look into the above and ensure that my warranty does not stand canceled.

                        Myself, Mr. S. Pattnaik, from Bhubaneswar, I had purchase one Sony digital camera (Sony DSC-P100, serial no. 2563618) on 9th Feb 2005, since more then six month I am facing one problem with my set and there are no solution at all till date.

                        My complaint:

                        The problem is I am viewing some black spot inside the lens with various zooming mode. And that black spot also remain in the photographs.

                        History:

                        I had given my set to Rajpath Service Center (Sony Authorized Service Center, Bhubaneswar) approximately six months ago, and they sent to Kolkata Sony Service Center (as Bhubaneswar Sony Service Center told me that they have to send this set to Kolkata service Center) for repair. The set was returned with carrying the same problem. After that I didn’t receive the set and again it was sent to Kolkata Service Center. After that I found the spot was vanished but a black bar is coming in high zooming mode. Again it was sent to Kolkata Sony Service Center on 14th Nov 2007. On 14th Dec 2007 I went to collect my set, and found the black bar was vanished but again the black spot returns and the zoom lens blocked. After that it was send to kolkata Sony servicing center on or before 25th Dec 2007 and return to Bhubaneswar on approx. 16th Jan 2008 with multi black spots in the lens.

                        My query:

                        When I will get my set free from all problems? If it persists then why not the Sony Service center didn’t replace my set with another Sony DSC-P100 Digital camera.

                        I have been tolerating the system of service from the Sony Bhubaneswar and Kolkata service center more then six months and I don’t want to tolerate any more.
                        And
                        I have lost more then Six Months of warranty period due to the Bhubaneswar and Kolkata Sony Service Center’s expert and wonderful service.

                        Kindly consider my problem as urgent, as I am very much worried since more then six months, and solve this matter as soon as possible.

                        SONY/digi cam — replacement of lens

                        I bought my camera on 16th December and unfortunately it was fallen on table and its sliding lens was not moving but after that incident it was working fine . I took 5 snaps which were perfect there was no problem but when i switched off and switch on again it was not working. Today I went to your sony world service centre hyderabad, they told me that complete lens will have to be replaced and charged me Rs.4000 but I want to know that is that true because when I was using i was fine...
                        Do you really take care of customer or for the shake of money you simply told us for replacement . Thats true at that point of time its impossible for any customer to quit because these are costly items but for next time of purchase customer took these incidents into consideration.

                        I am having DCR TRV 250E which was purchased in Spencer Plaza at Anna Road, Chennai sometimes during April 20006.
                        The camera was working alright upto May 2008. When I had taken the camera to Kodaikonal, suddenly, while I was shooting, the LCD was found to be not working at 90 degree opening. I handed over the equipment to an authorized service centre in Chennai and got it repaired. They gave only 30 days service warranty. I was charged for this Rs 1915.00.
                        After 28 days of receipt from 23rd August 2008, I used the camera only once for shooting the send off party of my friend and when I tried to down load the footage, I found one large band on the LCD.
                        When I took the equipment to the service centre, they accepted the camera and again sent the same for repair. Now they charge Rs 4815.00 (Around).
                        My question is that my camera was functioning except the problem cited above. After repair a new problem has crept in. Further, the cot of the components, inspection charge (Rs 1000.00) is found to be abnormal. The above causes, loosing interest in utilization of digital cam carder.
                        Please state how to get the cam corder repaired on payment of normal charge through an authorised service centre.
                        Your reply will solace my mind. I have incurred an expenditure approximately Rs 7000.00 against the purchase value of Rs 15400.00
                        When I received my cyber shot Sony digital camera I was thrilled. I used it several times and had to replace the battery. When I opened the battery compartment the catch broke with very little pressure.When I went to Best Buy where it was purchased, they washed their hands of it and told me to call Sony. After pricing how much the repair would be, it is almost 90.00 and the camera only cost 120.00 I became quite upset. I thought Sony not only made good products but stood behind their products at no extra cost.

                        After this experience, we will not only think twice about making future Sony purchases, will encourage our friends to do the same.

                        Any ideas of how to get this rectified?

                        I had purchased a Sony TV (Model No.HG21M80C) 21" WEGA Set in April 2007. It was OK till 13.8.2010. Suddenly it became dead on 13.8.2010. To get it repair I went to Rajpath Service Centre ( A Sony India Authorised Service Centre in Bhubaneswar) on 13.8.2010 and complained in their register (Complain No. 1547) and returned with an assurance that the Engineer will be moved to my residence to get the set repair. But it was vain. No body come to my home to have a test. Then I made a telephone call to the centre. But no one was there to receive the call. Again, I proceeded to the Centre to know the facts. Then, they told me to bring the TV set to the Service Cenre for which it will be easy to repair the set. They also told me that a telephone call will be given to you to know the repair cost (i.e. estimatation) which is yet to be received by me.

                          I am really unsatisfied and disturbed regarding the response of Sony Erricson service centre as i depositted my mobile phone W550I (Worth Rs.10,800, Purchase Date: 18/06/2006) for repair on 27/12/2007 as it was not working, no response was recieved at first instance but after propper time (3 Days) they commited to repair the same for Rs.800 but after 3 days they told me we are unable to repair the same 7 take the set completele dead back.
                          There is no value of commitment for such a big brand name, I hereby want to open the eyes of all against these malpractises and request the company to take strict action against service centre (Suri Telecom, Laxmi nagar)

                            i purchased a sony ericsson w910i mobile from a mobile store in kolkata. after one and a half weeks it accidently came into contact with water.i gave it to a sony ericsson certified service centre in kolkata, the address of which is mentioned below.i gave the cell on 3.12.2007.the manager of the shop told me that the problem will be resolved in a week and you will get the cell by next week i.e. by the second week of december.they also told me that the motherboard will be replaced and it would be warranteed for 3 months and the expense would be around Rs 19,00.till now i have not received the cell and they are also not telling me anything regarding it.they keep on extending the date by one week and it is now over 45 days.the IMI number of the cell is [protected] and the battery serial number is 0093481.when i call the service centre they tell me that my cell is in the sony ericsson head office in delhi but they never give me the contact number and the address of that head office when i ask them to do so.the job sheet number of my complaint in the service centre in kolkata is 6299.please take the necessary action so that i can get my mobile back at the earliest possible.

                            my name is sunil i purchased sony ericsson w910 for rs 18500 from [mohan varieties masid street vijayawada]. after 15 days i started facing problem like sliding and my mobile was not starting. so i gave it in the company for repairing it.so they told me to come after 15 days.so after 15 days i got a call from company that ur mobile will not be get repaired so plz come n take ur mobile. i was completely shocked by hearing that stupid reply because only 15 days been over i have purchased mobile n its very painful to hear such reply bcos only 15days had been over purchasing the mobile.when i asked wats the problem y is it not getting repaired they just told that parts r not available.so plz help me in solving out this problem because i am from a middle class family n 18500rs i an high amount for me to bear

                            what faults should i tell you about this this cell i am just got frustrated in four hours i bought this phone for better music player but to be honest my brother's tata indicom set fm voice is much better than this.
                            its got hang several times in last four hours and i can not hear the voice clearly at all during incoming and outgoing. it automatically got switch off as well sevearl times.
                            i am just thinking why i chosen sony inspite of nokia.
                            i am not happy at all.
                            i went to shopkeeper after one hour only but he denied to help me i request you pleaseeeeeeee look in to the matter as soon as possible and do the needful i am ready to take any lower price phone with better quality than this and dont refund my rest amount as well, as i am ready to do negotiation.

                            I bought a T650i from Satnam Electronics, Greater kailash Market Part-I on Oct 25, 2007.
                            The same is not working since last 2 days . I personally went to Neeru Enterprises (Sector 18, Noida) who confirmed that it will take 15 days from Chennai CCentre but if I wish to get the same done I may wish to go directly to Salora Intl (Centre at Okhla, New Delhi) and they will change the motherboard at the same moment. When I called up Mr. Ramvir, he said I have been misguided and in this scenario I have lost 2 precious days.

                            I would like to remind the Co. that after spending 20k if I have to wait for 15 days as your logistics problem, why should I bear the brunt of purchasing a new phone because my entire work is dependant on a phone.

                            I drag your attention about my serious problem, i bought a Sony Ericsson mobile from SUBHIKSHA TRADING SERVICES LTD. BIRATI, KOLKATA-700051, Bill No: INV/910/SVR Dated 27.07.2008 vides Model No: W810i, Sl. No: [protected] after buying the mobile it have got a problem. The sound of the Speaker is cracking & the sound of the speaker is very bad. I send it to your Authorized Service Centre Rippon Street, Kolkata, dated 01.09.02008, case ID No: 2 WK:[protected]. But after 26 days kept in there custody they don’t solve the problem and they want another 10 to 15 days for servicing purpose, then I withdrawn the mobile set and send to your Authorized service centre, Durgapur Benachity, Dist. Burdwan dated on 27/09/2008. Complaint ID – ISE103/8. They replace the speaker but not solved the problem & they told that it’s a problem on MOBILE BOARD also told me that they already send the board at head office and it’s now under head office activity.
                            Now after spending two month I think it’s a very unprofessional & light hearted assignment from your end. Now I realize about your products quality & service. But still believe that you will clear my problem & solve it very soon.

                            The above mentioned Sony Ericsson handset purchased by me on[protected] has been sent to ASCENTEL for service in March – April 09 (replaced the motherboard) and now again on 02/06/09.
                            Earlier you have replaced the motherboard twice but the problem still persists and the functioning was unsatisfactory and hence the service has been redelivered to ASCENTEL on 02/06/09 as per their acknowledgement card number 272. In spite of my persistent follow-up with your service people, and call centre (caseno-SE[protected], I am yet to get back my handset. Such extreme delay in service as we as repeated malfunctioning does not speak well about either the product or for the company and the consumer looses confidence in the product it self. It is certain that there is fundamentally some thing wrong with the particular handset, I had been using different models of Sony Ericsson handset and this is my 6th Sony Ericsson handset and never faced such a problem earlier but since buying this particular handset, I have lost my peace of mind because of nonfunctioning of this set. I request you to please replace this defective handset and restore my confidence in the product without any further delay

                            Sony Erricson / W910i mobile phone — Unprofessional people at Service centre

                            I have bout a Sony Erricson handset W910i in which since day one i am having lot of problems. The set restarted automatically 15- 20 times a day and if i dial any number then its hanged stil the call continues till the time i dont pull out the battery manually. The charging port of the mobile does not work properly as when i try to charge the handset i need to shake the charger in order to get the handset charged as port is loose. Ear volume is to low and not audible at all while talking.

                            To add to all my pains and sufferiings when i tried to visit the service centre of the Sony Erricson at RT outsourcing, 2 Rippon Street, Kolkata. The lady at front desk to was taking care of my complaint didnt knew how to open the handset as she was trying to open the back pannel of the handset without unlocking it then i educated her how to open it as she would have almost broke it. After struggling a lot with the handset when she was not able to understand anything she took the handset with her somewhere inside the office and came back by saying that i ned to leave my handset. After wards while allembling back the hadset she misplaced mine switch on/off key and started blaming me that i misplaced it on my face i politely told her that when i handed the set all the keys were there. She behaved rudely and continued replying in rude tone. When i complained to the shift manager Mr Indrajeet then they said that they would replace with another key. Mr Indrajeet was so casual while talking to me and by putting hands in his pocket was also behaving rudely with me. it was not only me as i was there for more than 1 hour and each and every customer were been treated by Mr Indrajeet in similar way. I was shocked to see such kind of pathetic and disgusting sevices from a responsible person from frontdesk of such a big branded organisation.

                            Now my concern is my handset is still under warranty still i have been asked to bear charges related to the repairing of the handset. I am really surprised as i think that main moto of Sony Erricson is to get money out of the pocket of customer and then to make them suffer for lifetime. I wont advice any of my family member or friends to buy any product of Sony Erricson after seeing and facing such kind of harrasment from after service people. Although i have given mine handset for repairing but this would be mine first and last mistake to buy product of Sony Erricson.

                            I seriously need to speak to person who heads the customer service as need to share all mine experience and make them realise about what they are doing.

                            the sony ericsson centre in Kerala, Trichur is completely letting down the brand image of sony ericsson phones..

                            everytime i go for a service there i find one or the other fight going on in the centre between customer and the staff there.

                            i am a die hard fan of sony products... but if this is the way they are carrying on service, its no wonder why people in Trichur are going for other brands... .
                            I strongly recommend all the sensible buyers across the country not to touch Sony Ericsson mobile handsets even from a distance.Such a funny and lousy company I have never seen in my life. You can run from pillar to post without any success where to get your handset repaired even in a metro city like Kolkata.

                            I have purchased SE mobile w910i from Rajkot. Which is aurthorised dealer of sony-ericsson.My mobile is completing in working condition.But sunddenly it's turn-off.This would oftenly happens. But this time it doesn't switch-on automatically or customaly.So I go to Sony Ericsson service centre and told about my problems.He said that you have software problem. And it would take 2 days time.I have said him that 1 and 1 1/2 hour is sufficient to update software in any mobile then how could you tell that it takes 2 days.So he said that come after noon.I went still he can't do that.And Told come after 2 days. after 2 days he can't do that and said there is in connection problem.He said came tomorrow.I would definately do it.The next day I went and centre has been closed.His employee said the renovation of centre is running and it took 8 days.After 8 days I went his employee took mobile and said we can't do it.And wash-up his from their responsibility.And said give it to another mobile centre.This is rude behaviour of service centre owner Shaym Karia. I know very well the value of sony ericsson mobile.That's why at my home I have 4 Sony Ericsson Mobile.My humbly request to you please closed this service centre and give another person to aurhotisation.

                            after using for 6 months it got sudden swith off while put for charging & i have gone to sony reisson service centre in sec bad they say that it mobile got into water they are showing me some red marked below the battery as it will apper only when it got in water like this they are saying. but the mobile is not got in the water accutally, & he refused to repair & saying that the mobile is wet inside put the phone into sunlight for 2 days & then bring the mobile back & then i visted another center which is in abids they taken the phone after 2days they are saying that the mobile is unrepairable the mother board is got damage & it will cost me 4500 for repair with three months gaurantee, I used the mobile for 6 month & i have not face any problem one day sudden it got switch off that it . after that i agreed for repair they take 10 days time to repair & given back the mobile . after that the bluetooth of the moblie is not working properly. then i loose payshens & i sold the mobile for three thousand . I deicied that not bye a sony ericsson phone in future.

                            Sony Ericson W910i — Software Problem

                            I bought a W910i in Jan, 2009. For 3-4 months the Handset was working good.Then the problem started, my phone automatically restarts, keypads will not work, Some key-functions misbehave (eg: if I press Key '1' in whatever application i was working,the application gets closed and i'll be directed to the standby mode).Since Im in the warranty period I contacted the Authorized Service centre and Flashed the mobile.But all i can enjoy that for 2 months, Again the problem started, but this time a little different, Keys 1,3,6 will not work when we dial a number (often). If we restart the phone once, then they will work!(amazing-it is not a keypad problem!) , Incoming calls from unsaved numbers will not get displayed. 'Call screen' will not get displayed for unsaved numbers, Since the warranty period has got expired, I 'll be charged if once again I took the phone to the Service Centre. Can I make the point whether the warranty restarts from the time when I did my 'Flashing' operation in the Service Centre? I have enough proofs and Discription of the problem certified by the Service centre engineer!

                            I submitted my mobile for repair at Okhla Sony Erricson Service station on 17th April 10 as was given an estimate time of 1 week. Even after my repeat calls, phones on 39011111 and emails at uestions.[protected]@support.sonyerricson.com, I have not received any positive reply.

                            The Okhla service station is now closed and the call centre people always say it will take 3-4 more days. I have also asked them to return my handset as it is, to which also they politely refuse.

                            Infact today when I called I was asked to confirm that I have not collected my handset from the Okhla service station.
                            I am not sure if they still have my handset or have they lost it.

I gave it to a Sony Ericsson certified service centre in Agartala, Tripura, the address of which is mentioned below. I received my mobile phone by paying servicing charge of Rs. 1600/- but I was discovered that my mobile’s front camera and back camera was not working. Again I gave it to them and they charged Rs. 700/- for repairing my phone. I gave the cell on the month of March 2011. After receiving my phone I found the same problem in my phone. Again I gave my phone on 19/4/2011. On 6/5/2011 I received the phone with same problems. Now they told me that the motherboard will be replaced and it would be warranted for 1 month and the expense would be around Rs 3000/- The IMI number of the cell is[protected].The job sheet number of my complaint in the service centre in Agartala is OB 275. Please take the necessary action so that I can my money back or my phone’s support as early as possible.

It came with a 1 yr mid-east warranty. I was happy with the phone except for a few minor glitches which occured during data transfer, but 2 weeks back i noticed the phone was hanging up with a white screen of death whenever i plugged it into the pc. i took it to a ''authorised' sony ericsson service center near Dasaprakash Hotel in Chennai, the guy took it in and hooked it up to his pc and found the same problem, but instead of disconnecting it he went about restarting it despite my warning and totally bricked it. he then gave a dumb look lamenting about the problems with the model and complaining about the poor quality of SE phones! well figuring its no use arguing with the i went back and searched for a better service center. Someone told me that there is another service center near Apollo hospitals run by Accel Frontline, my spirits lifted a bit when i went there and saw a bit more professional looking office than the previous one, they took my phone after making me sign a 'no guarantee' paper since it was out of warranty period. i was asked to come back in 3 days during which time i did my own search on the net and found people facing similar problem had actually rectified it themselves (it was a corrupted EROM ). then i went back to the service center after three days with more confidence that my phone would be repaired but it was not so!, after a 3 hr wait at their office because of faulty PC's they informed me that the phone was not repairable !. and a while later i realised that they had actually opened the phone and had replaced the navigation keys with some broken ones !!! now not only did i have a currupt erom but also a damaged phone thanks to the geniuses who work for Accel's service!

                                  The moral of this experience.. stay away from the latest/expensive SE phones in the future and NEVER go to any of the so called authorized service centers .. especially in Chennai , unless it is recommended by someone u trust

                                  The same thing i also faced with my Sony Ericsson W830i,
                                  but i purchased in chennai univercel only.
                                  same white screen is appeared after servicing it displaying error message that congiguration error please contact service provider.
                                  ACCEL FRONTLINE Limited is really useless service prvider.
                                  they serviced my mobile for 10 days and telling to me that they cant fix it.finally my mobile is like empty box.
                                  Yes i do agree, these accel icim people in greems road are really useless and time consuming guys, they think they are perfect and proffessional, but i feel those guys look like school drop outs with no technical knowledge about phones, they make customers wait for nearly 3 hours and ask them to collect the phones after 3-4 days, if you look at the recipt which they ask you to sign, it says that they dont gurantee that the phone will work after service and partially working phone may not even work after service, i had many bad experiences with them after giving my SE K500I, SE W830I
                                  I went to Accel service centre with SE W810 i and Fly B700.
                                  (1) SE W810i : - After waiting for nearly 1 1/2 hours i was able to reach the people taking the complaints. They asked me to wait for another 15 mins. Later 1 guy came from inside and told me that completely the motherboard has become wet . I told how can it be. He told it is. It can't be repaired even if i repair it would be 70% of new phone cost. He told he would get back to me in 3 days. After 3 days when i went they told it can't be serviced. After 2 months my phone again it started working. I don't what the Accel guys checked. For this i wasted a half day both while giving and getting the set back.

                                  (2) Fly Duo 700 : My second SIM was not working. I gave them and they told it has been rectified. Again after 2 weeks it stopped working. I don't what the hell these ACCEL guys do service. Whether they have been experienced in handling mobiles or not. The pain in the is that we need to wait for longtime to give a set for servicing and also to get back.

                                  Accel people if you see this blog please try to change your self atleast from now onwards.
                                  Could any one please let me know the authorized service center for SE K810i.

                                    I own a Sony India Music System, Model No MHC RV 660D, Serial No. 335H358 for the last 3 years. Last week the DVD Tray failed to open up and the system kept going to stand by. I visited the service centre in Vashi, Navi Mumbai namely, SRI SAI ELECTRONICS, Shop No FI-11, Sector 5, Vashi, Navi Mumbai on 06th Jan 2008 (Sunday). They promised to give an estimate by 08th Jan 2008. I have still not heard from them and I'm being asked to call at a later time/date since the engineer is not available. This is completely preposterous and not the level of service one would expect from a comapny of this stature. I demand an early resolution to the above.

                                    on 4-6-2008 i bought Philips Home Theatre Music System HTS3010 for Rs. 9900; when i started the buttons, it did not work and with a loud noise it went out of gear; i complainted to Philips Customer Care[protected]; repair van picked up the system on 17/7/2008 after making 100 calls requesting Philips to take care of my complaint; the service people located at vikaspuri (gaurav enterprises,[protected]; they promised to deliver the repaired set back in 3 days; it has been more than 50 days now they have not bothered to neither repair ir nor give any reply to me; i brought this to the notice of Philips nearly 100 times during the last two months; they are keeping silence; the repair centre people did not even bother to answer my call; will you place help me get back my money, sir? if not the set

                                    I purchased a sony mini hi-fi system from Digital Electronics/Secunderabad. At the time of purchase sales people were very much customer oriented, customer friendly, Totally bow down before the customer. But after sales when I approached them for serivce, they are very reluctant to take the complaint even. After a hard and a very big exercise, I came to know about the Sony service center which is located in somajiguda/Hyderabad. When I approached these people for repair of my music system surprisingly they expressed their inability to give service at my door.

                                    Sony is an Multi-National company, Ace company in producing the Electronic equipments, known for its quality. But when it comes to service, I am stunned to learn that company cannot give door service.

                                    I request you to improve your after sales service.
                                    I had purchased Samsung DVD P-490 on 04/06/09, on 15th of August’09 some technical problem had occurred in my DVD due to which it stopped
                                    Functioning, I had reported the same to authorized dealer my customer complaint no is [protected] after 2weeks when they were unable to restore my DVD in working condition, on 1st of September’09 I had given my DVD to airoli (Navi Mumbai) Samsung authorized service centre called clourtrak services on ensuring by them that my DVD will be repaired within a week. But even after a week they are unable to repair & replace my DVD.

                                    So we have given them Deadline till monday i.e 14/09/2009, else we will be going to Leagal.
                                    I have purchased a Sony DVD player. That player showing a message on the display area "Loading" and it never end this message. Last time this same problem was arrised for that I rush to service centre.

                                    The Brand Sony Has Lost its Creditability. I bought Sony Home theater 5.1 channel system in 2006. with in 12 months it started problem. while reading CD it was just displaying "Loading" or some times "No disc". so I called sony service man who changed the CD player motor worth 750/- and service charge of Rs700/-. After 3 to 4 months same problem repeated.
                                    Called sony authorised service person again he was telling about same motor fault. so I had a send him back and checked the motor myself. It was found ok .
                                    so I try to repair it myself and found the problem, there is a micro switch inside, when cd get inserted that switch has to close. but due to bad qualityof the switch the player was showing "no Disc " error, so I replaced the Switch from local market for only Rs 45/- which sony could cost Rs 200-300/-.
                                    The overall quality of all sony Audio products due to made in china is very poor.
                                    Its worth to buy Indian systems like Mitashi than sony.

                                    I own a Sony MP3 player, model- MHC GNZ5D, that i had bought from hyd in 2007. There was a problem in the DVD Tray failed to close completely & would open the entire tray if tried to forcibly close it.The system kept giving a C3 error. I took it to the service center named SRI SAI ELECTRONICS, Shop No FI-11, Sector 5, Vashi, Navi Mumbai on 06th Jan 2012 (Saturday) . The mechanic available there merely took a look & gave me a huge list of error components in my system & gave me an estimate of Rs.3643.00. I really have doubts on his estimate, as to how can one judge what all things are wrong in a system w/o actually checking each & every feature in the MP3. Ne ways, i had okayed the estimated amount & gave them a go ahead for servicing my system.
                                    Secondly, i was told by the lady at the reception, that the system will be ready in 2-3 days. Its 17th Jan now, till date i have not heard from them.
                                    What a lousy service center is this.
                                    I am just hoping to get back my own system back in 1 peice.

                                      As one of the customer it pains me to raise such complain out of desparation and seeing callous attitude of your dealer as well as service centre at Bhubaneswar.
                                      I purchased on eSONY RV-777D hi-fi system having sl no 3157003 on 11.11.2004 at Rs 18060/= from Rajpath Motors Bhubaneswar,vide cash memo no RMCA45186. The CD part of the system went out of order some time during March 2007,then on advise of Dealer Rajpath Motors took it to service centre at Bhubaneswar,when they confirmed after a month that it cannot be repaired but the vedio card need to be replaced,which once I pay advance of Rs 10000/= shall be brought from Singapore and it may cost around Rs 12000/= plus service charges.
                                      It was a shock to me as even at one third of its value I can have SONY DVD player comfortibly,nevertheless why one should procure such costly equipment then?
                                      I expect from SONY being such reputed company a true justice in this regard as my hard earned money of Rs 18000/= is at present having NIL value.
                                      A prompt reply will be highly appreciated as my complain is not to a road side company,who sales and forgets!

                                        I have purchased a Sony music system from the Sony authorise shop in Shipra Mall Indirapurum GHAZIBAD on 5 Feb 2007.

                                        On same day when a person comes from Sony does not able to install the music system completely. A promise made by the worker of Sony that he will fixed the defect next day.

                                        When no one visited from Sony even after a week we gone to Sony show room to discuss the matter. They again made the promise that they will send some technician to fix the defect, even then no one visited.

                                        The same process repeats and even after 11 months of purchasing the components of sony no one visited from sony. I had made the complaint more than 10 times about this in Sony but no action has been taken.

                                        I always assume that purchasing a good from Sony means a good customer support but it seems that no body is their to listen the complaint of Customers.

                                        This is my another effort to fix the problem so that I communicate a positive experience of Sony.

                                        This is to state that i had bought a sony dvd writer for my computer last year and I was very joyous at my decision then because I had heard a lot of SONY's commitment to quality and customers.I was severely disillusioned later to learn that neither is the product quality even average nor is the customer satisfaction as promised.Inside one year, the stipulated warranty periiod, I had to replace the product three times with the last one barely lasting 2 months before it began not reading dvds and cds.It had been only a few days past the warranty but the people at the care centre told me to trash the thing and buy a new one.I dont think that a thousand rupees is a trifle that I can throw away just to get a product which doesnt even work for couple of months.
                                        I request the company to please suggest a remedy for me and also tell me how to get AN ORIGINAL MADE IN JAPAN sony dvd writer so that I can save my self from unnecesary hassels and counterfeit product.

                                        I purchased a MP3 MICHAEL JACKSON MP3 40 GREATEST HITS from Music World Great India Place,Noida.

                                        The cd was skipping tracks which I attributed to some other fault but I discovered that the CD carries an inherent manufacturing defect and has a mark as shown in the photo.

                                        I dont know whom to complaint as SONY BMG site shows under construction.

                                        Incidentally it was purchased on MJ's birthday last month,on 28th Aug 09.

                                        1. I am Major Vikas Sharma (Army Officer Presently posted in Amritsar) who owns one of your products ie. SONY Cybershot DSC-T5. The year of Purchase is 0ct 2006.(under warranty Period or already Expired yet to be confirmed as I am still tracing my cash memo).¬¬¬¬
                                        2. I had no complaints regarding the product till recently on 08 OCT 2009 it started giving some trouble when its screen did not illuminate but I could still click snaps.
                                        3. I took it for repairs to one of your authorized dealers in Amritsar ie SONY Brothers, 24 National shopping Complex, Amritsar.
                                        4. I am sorry to say that the services provided by them are to my horrors is not as per the good reputation of your company. I have the following complaints:
                                        (a) My camera was deposited to SONY Brothers, 24 National shopping Complex, Amritsar on 08 oct 2009, Job card number was 6596149. Camera is SONY Cybershot DSC-T5 (MKN on camera is 5596148- I assume it is the make number)
                                        (b) After two days on 10 oct 2009 I am told that the card/ motherboard of the camera was burnt. I was also advised that it was better to dispose off the camera then to get it repaired as the cost of the card itself was Rs 10, 000 approximately. That set me thinking on this aspect as the equivalent or better models with same features would cost less than that.
                                        (c) Also my question was that if the Motherboard was burnt then how was it possible for me to click the snaps even though I did not see the illuminated image on the rear screen.
                                        (d) Luckily I had the toll free number of SONY India and I lodged a complaint. The Gentleman I spoke to was Mr Rais( as I heard him on phone). He noted down all the details including my mobile number. The complaint number given to me was 4404682.
                                        (e) I also requested Mr Rais (in toll free Customer care) to give me the number service manager of the region which he denied to give and said that there was no such data available to him and assured and promised me to come back to me on my mobile number within two days which never happened till now.
                                        (f) On 16th Oct 2009 the service center was again contacted and asked if the spare part was available or what would be the exact amount for the repairs. I was told to wait for their call as they will intimate the same to me on phone.
                                        (g) I am still waiting for a response from both the ends. (Customer care as well as service center)
                                        5. Now this makes me feel being robbed by some rotten staff of such a reputed company. Does this mean that all the things we say of buying brands still have a loophole for you being cheated by quoting wrong price for the spares by their service centers?
                                        6. It is my last attempt by the help of this mail to try to put things in order for me and for you take corrective measures towards your service centers. With the trust that I have on SONY I shall have no reason to approach the consumer court.

                                        SONY DVD RW, DVD/CD ROM, it works for 6 - 7 months correctly with no issues, maximum of 10 months, then is stats the problems. I have got writing problems, i always use sony disks to write Datas. When we go the dealer shops to ask about the services of sony, they will say sony servicing are too bad, if you got the problem within the warrenty period then they will look. Otherwise they wont!!! My SONY DVD RW, DVD/CD ROM is only 18 months old. Now onwards i suggest to every one, not to buy SONY DVD RW, DVD/CD ROM. They only got a good brand names, the other things are really bad. Buy some other burnner. If you ask to the dealers also, they will say Sony DVD RW, DVD/CD ROM is good, but buy other other DVD RW, DVD/CD ROM thats good. What is this means?
                                        About 4 years ago I had gone to Mynamar.There I purchased a Sony Transister, thinking that I am purchasing a good quality product of one of the best electronics company of the world.To my utter surprise within 3 years there was some trouble in the transister and it stopped functioning.
                                        With great trouble I located the service center of sony at Bhopal and took the transister for repair.Again I was greatly surprised to find the utter callousness shown by the persons sitting there, who without examining the transister told me that it will be very costly to get the transister repaired and it will be wise to purchase a new transister in place of getting that one repaired.
                                        I had purchased a Sony transister thinking that it will give me a quality service for at least 10-15 years (which is the usual age of a common India made electronics equipment), but alas it was not to be, and I learnt about poor quality of Sony equipments and still poorer after sales services, in this way.

                                        I posted a complaint against Sony electronics ltd about 2 months back.It is surprising that no one has taken note of the complaint till now.It goes on to show the importance which is being paid to the customers by the sony elec.corp. k.k.thassu
                                        purchased a Sony T-1- camera and had heating, image vibrating and blurr images when pics taken. had sent to RMS Service statio i Bangalore and was recieved by me after 20 days, but to my dismay the zoom function isnt working, theeby cannot take pics fron far. i hope the service sation is capable of handling service problems and ensure perfecr working of the camera.
                                        already sent a mail to them. yet to recieve reply.

                                        ctually I have got finaced A bajaj XCD 135 from BAFL, , Kanpur (U.P) & the vehicle was picked from Authorized Dealer of Bajaj Society Motors, Mc-Roberts Ganj, KAnpur .After 20 days or 1 Month From the date of purchase the vehicle is making problem & after regular follow up for the problem at the workshop it was not completely rectified till date.Now they are saying that for these problems, it will be chargeable.
                                        Do you think, there is no feaseability in case that if any problem is regularly noted but no proper solution is provided.In this case I will not be able to pay the emi's .This is now possible for me to pay the emi in these circumtances.

                                        I purchase a Sony home a theatre system about 15 months back.Recently something happened to the Power supply system.Sony service centre is asking exorbitant charges for repair.(Total system cost including speakers is Rs 10000/ where as they are asking Rs 6000/ for repair of the DVD player.Even you cannot buy a new same Sony DVD player, as this is not sold separately.
                                        I do not know what to do.
                                        The only thing I can do is not to buy any Sony product hereafter

                                        Facing lots of problem

                                        The sound is not clear in my sony bravia LED. Even when the sound is set high, it's not clear. Pls.help me with the same.

                                        My 32 inches having a problem in his HD cur cit which we have not used. Your engginer has reaches our premises and said there is a problem in our HD curcit. Kindly repair it or replace it immediately.|
