Sir,
I purchased Sony Ericsson mobile P990i through sify shopping web site http://shopping.sify.com/shopping online in Dec 07 wide Purchase order no. .s[protected]b
The mobile IMEI no. is[protected] and model is P990i. Invoice no. 2839 by N R Infotech, Mumbai 07
It was delivered to my Dombivali (Mumbai- India) address on 25th Dec 07.
Recently I have taken it to Sony Service center for some repair. ( LCD screen calibration problem)
Sony service center at Saki Naka is saying that this mobile was not sold in India and hence we will not consider guarantee period.
I feel cheated. The Sify site clearly mentioned guarantee period.
Even after buying mobile in India, making Rupee payment, I do not get guarantee.
I request you to help me.
Latest status: Sony Service Center say that mobile can not be repaired and they are returning it back. I have paid Rs.14000/- and within six months I have to throw the mobile since it can not be repaired also.
I have raised complaint with Sony Ericsson and their reference no. is 72430288.
I have also raised complaint with Sify Customer care and their reference no. is
7297070
Both parties did not give any solution so far.
Please help me to get a replacement phone.

This has reference of my grievance regarding servicing of my Sonyericsson P990i mobile.
My grievanace has yet not been resolved and I have recieved no repsonse from you.

From now on, I shall be sending you three reminders daily till my grievance is unresolved and nos. of reminders will be escalated going forward.

Any attemp to filter/block/modify my mail at your end will lead to litigation at suitable forum and would amount to deficiency in service.

This may be treated as reminder cum notice.

    I, Rogaciano Fernandes bought two Sone Ericsson cell phones (W810i & W580i) on June 25, 2008. Although I was told by the dealer that the speaker output of W58i is better than W810i when I started using the phones I noticed it was'nt the same. The sound output of W810i was much better than the W580i, since I was'nt interested in using the speaker mode so much I did'nt bother about that. However after a few days I noticed that when the cellphone rang the sound was cracking. My work enviroment allows me to keep the Cell phone on only on silent
    mode so I did'nt realise this earlier.
    As soon as I noticed this flaw I took the piece back to the dealer and he assured me that it would be replaced and advised me to deposit the cell phone at ACCEL FRONTLINE LIMITED.
    I immediatly deposited my cell phone at Accel Frontline as directed on July 17, 2008 at 16:53 PM. Therafter I placed a complaint with Sony Ericsson (Complaint # SE[protected] to ensure that my phone is replaced A.S.A.P.
    And I am throughly disappointed by the way my complaint has been handled. Last week I recieved a call from Accel informing me that the phone has been repaired when I had asked for a replacment. Also when I call SE customer care they keep asking me to callback after two wrking day. Its been over ten days now. When I ask for a floor supervisor I am either hung up on or just placed on hold. I been on hold once for over one hour waiting for Jeetendra, who I was told was the floor Supervisor. I did manage to speak to Manish, Nilesh and Vijay Sharma on other occasions. But on subsequent follow ups they all turned out to be non existent entities. Your customer care associates told me there are no floor supervisors with that name in Sony Ericsson. That
    means a lot of people representing Sony Ericsson have been dishonest with me, starting with dealer who assured me that the cell phone would be replaced right to the cusomer care associates and so called floor supervisors who I doubt even exist..
    I did'nt pay all this money to be treated this way. I dont care about my cell phone but I definatly expect an apology for this kind of customer treatment.
    Today (0808/2008) I paid a visit to Accel Frontline Limited to check on my cell phone which I had deposited on 17/07/2008 because it had developed a speaker problem. I was told today that the phone has problems with the motherboard and will take another week to get it replaced.
    Now I would like to remind you that initially when I had returned the phone I specifically requested for a complete replacement and I was ask to raise a complaint with Sony Ericsson to escalate the issue. I raised the complaint soon after but on all my follow up calls I was either placed on hold and never attended too, or I was transferred to some one who claimed to be a floor supervisor. I spoke to Manish, Nilesh & Vijay Sharma who all claimed to be floor supervisors but on subsequent follow up calls I was told that no such people existed in Sony Ericsson Customer service. My last few conversations have been with Sanjeev who happens to be your only employee who has bothered to call back and update me on my complaint. But that was over a week ago and since then nothing has happened. My mails to Sony Ericsson too weren't being answered.
    It was out of sheer frustration that I had gone to ACCEL my handset and accept it in whatever condition it was. But in light of the new issue with the mother board I would now want a refund. All expenses paid including taxes.
    I have been made aware by my colleagues that the handset has major issues with its display and motherboard. If that's not enough when I checked with the customer service people at ACCEL they too confirmed that this handset has issues with its motherboard.
    Having understood this I really don't feel comfortable continuing to use this handset.

    Sony Ericsson / W 580i — Pathetic and the worst service

    I bought my new cell W 580i from one of the sony ericsson showrooms in gurgaon 3 months back, the key pad stopped working all of a sudden, when taken to the service centre, the cold response of the gentlemen who looked and sounded irritated and pissed in his life told me to leave it with him and come back after 6 hours, the same was done but when i returned the cell was not even touched leave alone the repairing part. I took the cell back and spoke with the manager in Delhi who sits in Delhi office. Asked me to leave the cell with the service centre guy so that he gets it to Delhi for repairing, did the same. Its been a month there is no response from them. They dont know the status of my cell, where is it and they have no information. I have been running behind them, they have stopped picking up my calls.
    I really dont know who to contact because even the manager seems to be helpless and gives me weird replies like we are replacing it and sometimes they are trying to repair it, and at times they tell me we dont know the status and on the other hand i am handicapped without my cell.
    sir mine is 580i piece, i took it last week only, in that i got a problem that configaration error, pls contact your service center, .I took it 2 service center and asked to solve the problem, now he is asking RS.350/-... i am having the warrenty card also...
    what ever happens within 1 year, they have to do, even soft ware problem also...
    now he is asking money, what should i do now...?
    i have bought this mobile in april 2008, my phone is getting hot while operating. it got hot even we talk only for half minutes.

    I buy a W580i before 20 days. Withing 10 days Software was hanged. & stopped the work. i use mobile only 3 days.Then i went to service centre. they told me to it will done 7 days. but till 20 days it is not done . what nonsance things they are doing. Every day they are ignoring me. & even not giving responce properly.they are very helpless.how you authorised that Service centre i dont know.
    When i will get my hpone i dont know . i think it is worst to use sony mobile.

    Sony Ericsson — Pathetic and worst Service

    I bought my Sony Ericsson Mobile W580i in the month of April from Hot Spots Retails Pvt. Ltd., Yusuf Sarai, Delhi. Suddenly the Display got blank on 09/07/2008. I went to service centre at Arun watch Shop, Yusuf Sarai and given the mobile to get it repaired under the Complaint ID SES08AWS11872. Its been a month now whenever I go and ask the status their reply was LCD Stock is not available so they do not know when they can get my mobile back in shape. The service centre manager seems to be helpless and gives me weird replies and asked us to talk to Okhla Office but they are also helpless. I am handicapped without my cell and have no idea who to contact.
    I[censored] are really having problems with sony eicsson just vist the salora interntional office in okhla. That is the best service center for SE phones and they keep ur phone for maximum 2-3 days
    rediff bol has been produce the problem (E102) then uyou have solution for this problem
    I bought the Sony ericsson w580i mobile on july 30 2008 and it has a network problem. so i surrended to nearby customer care (sony ericsson). they informed they will get back to me with a new mobile but till date (august 21 2008) i didnt get my mobile number. Could some one please let me know the email id of any higher official in india for sony ericsson so that i could get them back soon.

    New phone hardly used for one week is giving problem.
    Service center approach is totally un professional and now they want to change motherboard.
    they say they do not give replecement but only do the repairs.

    it is better to file a complaint with consumer protection court rather than running from piller to post on the mercy of this unprofessional brats from Sony
    I have to agree, Sony Ericsson does has horrible customer support. I sent in my phone for repair on the cracked keypad for W580i, and when I called them two weeks later to check on my phone's status with the RMA# they provided to me, they just ignore me because I couldn't provice them the "Postal Office tracking number." I asked them can't you just type in the RMA# on your data base, and check the status on my phone? And the Sony Ericsson customer support just said no. Well, hopefully I can find my Postal Office tracking number and phone them up again for the status, otherwise I can only pray and wait...
    Even I am facing the problem. It is almost a month and my W580i isn't come back. They keep telling another two more days. Pathetic customer support. Never will i make the mistake of buying a Sony Ericcsson product.
    I bought W580i in the month of february 2008. Somehow the phone starting giving problems after two months where it gets stuck. It hangs quite often and one cannot recieve or disconnect calls. Now the screen got broke and I have no where to go to get it repaired as customer service does not respond.

    I bought the Sony ericsson w580i mobile on May 2008 and it has a Charging problem. so i surrended to nearby customer care (sony ericsson).     Never have I had a problem with any electronic device until I bought the 580i in November 2007. Within a month AT&T replaced the first bad one. In November of 2008 I finally sent the replacement back. They fixed some things but off and on I would email SonyEricsson to keep them apprised of what problems I was having and did not send it back because I had grown to like the phone and did not want to be without it again.
    Following up with emails is not the same as sending it back within the 90 day repair warranty, so now I am using it as take the phone apart in a DIY attempt. Don't buy the phone!!!
    I am custmer of Sony Ericsson from last 6 years.My first mobile was T310 in which I had faced problem with joystick.Than again I bought new mobile K510i.AT this time I am again facing the same problem with my mobile with in 2 years.That is waste of my money with Sony mobile.How I can I trust with Sony Ericsson.Can you explain me.

    sony 580i — speaker and motherboard

    Dear Sir,

    This is to inform you that, I am using Sony ericsson 580 i mobile last 8 months. I was facing problem in my ear speaker, I have given my Mobile at you service centre that is RT-outsourcing services Ltd, Silver Sanchora castle shop No 15, 16, 17, 18 RNT Marg Indore[protected]. They have received my mobile phone problem dated 31/07/09 and ask me to come after 06/08/09. they have change speaker parts. they have not tested my mobile and said now it's working properly. I come back to my office and checked it again it was not working. I call RT outsourcing again. they ask me to come to their centre. I have visited again they again recheck my mobile and said we are not able to repairer it. I request them to give this thing in writing that you are not able to give services to me, then they have taken my mobile again and asked me to come after 10 days. I have called him after 10 days they are telling your parts has not come it will take 10 days more.

    Now i request you to please see my problem last 25 days my mobile is having problem. RT outsourcing people are never given me any satisfactory answer. As a sony ericsson mobile user deceiver this kind of services. this was my first experience with sony ericsson Mobile phone. complant

      sony world madurai (near bye pass road) refused to provide a receipt for a sony remote purchased, it was home delivered without a receipt. Padmanabhan the manager refuses to provide the receipt despite repeated requests and refuses to exchange the product for a higher better model. The product is unused as received.

        Respected Sir,

        I m from Baroda (Gujarat). i used the All Sony Ericsson Walkman Series Phones from last 4 years. but thise time i m not satisfy from SE Serivces.

        in May/2008 i buy SE W910i, but after 1 month its PCB Corrupts Itself, and SE Serivce Centre Replaced it with the new one.

        after 1 month from replacing the PCB, i had another problem.
        The System Connector Break Out Itself from the PCB. (Cause of SE's Rules and Regulations-They said how to Remove the Headphone Port and Usb or Charging Port.)

        Now they are no Ready to take the responsibility for the Warranty of my phone and i lost my phone's warranty.

        i do as they said, i give them my phone on 7/11/08, for the Repairings for the Phone.

        and today is 5/08/08, they give me my phone and say, "there is no any chance to repair it, you have to charge the battery from the DESKTOP CHARGER" and you just touch wid us, if connector comes from the company we'll try. and they also lost my phone's Volume Key.

        sir have u like this type of service????

        so what i do rite now, i had buy this phone of cost Rs.16000.

        i want to replace my phone with the company, otherwise i have to take the liegle action.
        What legal action can be taken ?
        I myself am using W910i since past 11 months and I have noticed the phones colour is peeling off . It turns out to be of inferior quality . Like I said jst 11 months and considering the normal usage of the phone ...this is not the type of exterior quality I bargained for . Rite, now am jst speculating if, is there a way to get it replaced as it falls under warranty .

        Sony Ericsson W910i Walkman phone — Dissatisfaction with product.

        To whom it may concern,

        I purchased a W910i last year February and I have had nothing but endless apparently unsolvable problems. The phone has to be sent for software upgrades WAY MORE than it actually should and the phone freezes and switches off even on the day it comes back from the upgrade. I have been a loyal customer of Sony Ericsson for the past seven years and find this very dissappointing. I am starting to lose confidence in this once "a cut above the rest' product. I would appreciate it if someone could get back to me and explain to me why this is happening to my phone.

          I purchased 1 pc. Sony Ericsson W580i cell phone (IMEI No. [protected]) from Hotspots retails pvt. ltd. Bhootnath Market, Indira Nagar, Lucknow on 23/12/2007 for Rs. 11950 (Inv No.[protected]. After using it for sometime, the cell has problemed and I complained the same to the authorized service centre of Sony Ericsson (Soni Ericsson Service Centre, Suratdeep Complax, 1st Floor, D-Block, Swantra Bharat Campus, 16, Rana Pratap Marg, Lucknow) on 03/06/2008 and deposited my handset . On 05.06.2008 I got the cell from service centre. But the problem was still and back of the phone was changed. I once again deposit my phone to above centre. I discussed with the concerned Ms. Robina Gujral and she told me that motherboard of the phone problemed so handset will replace the same with the new one as it is under warranty period. Subsequently, I deposited the phone to them. She said that H/S will be delivered on 22/07/2006, Thereafter I paid several visits to them followed by phone calls but they are not giving any head. It is almost 15 days have passed.
          I am a common consumer and facing a tremendous hardship due to such practice of the authorized service centre. I seek your kind intervention to get me the replacement and the compensation for the delay and the strict action against the authorized service centre, M/S Soni Ericsson Service Centre (particularly the concerned officer Ms. Robina Gujral) so as to curb such unjustified and unreasonable acts of the manufacturers and service providers.

          Consequences : I am without phone. Since I cannot afford to buy a further new handset.

            Hi,

            This is to inform you that I have purchased Sony Ericsson w580i on 28th february.2008, But now I am facing problem regarding the same.

            1. Display is not working properly
            2. Connectivity problem
            3. Sound problem
            4. Bluetooth is not working properly
            5. Handset keeps on hanging
            6. It Gets switch off automatically
            7. Sometime don’t show missed calls received or dialed



            I went to Sony Ericsson showroom but there I did not any response .please do something about this .As you know that cell phones are very important in our life and my business depends on it. Kindly confirm the same.

              my brother mr mohan working in qatar abroad purchased this mobile and given to me when he come in kerala on june 1st 2006
              the complaint of this mobile is flip strip and base of strip ( up and down) damaged and display will be white other wise like striked display. first time i will be repaired free of cost from authorized service centre in ahmedabad, again now the same complaint in mobile

                I have purchased this mobile 4 months back and I have given it for repair at Sony authorised servicecenter for not getting switched on for the first time.It got serviced and then after few days i was not able to hear the songs on the right hand side of the Handsfree and then gave it to service centre and got an information that i will receive the phone back only after 10 days and after 10 days when i visited the centre they said that they havent got the cell still and it will take 10 moredays to get the board replaced.But finally i received the set after 1 month.Now iam not able to make outgoing calls and not getting most of the incoming calls.
                My Phone is in Warranty period

                This product is having lots of problem since from the day it has been purchased.

                hello my name is harsh i m using the k790i since one year and since then it has been serviced more than 7 times and any time after servicing i havn;t found my mobile working properly and rather another new problem begins and it started again making me to put it in service center.
                i had tried to intimate them and as per first talk i again gave my cell to service center and provided them with job sheet id so that they can proceed but now they are not replying anything..not even my 8 mails that i have send to them and even my phone complaints..
                service center person is saying that company is saying that cell is out of guarantee and now i have to pay the charges but it is because of their delayment only and now they are trying to prove it wrong.
                i m in serious trouble and hoping for a solution from them with your help.

                  When my elder son bought a Sony Ericsson K790i in Oxford, it seemed a bright buy since it cut away the need to manage a separate camera...ideal for a student who likes travelling. Subsequently, I bought the same set for my younger son here in India this January. This piece has been non-functional longer than than it has been o[censored]se...all the keys had become sluggish and some non-functional. Now it's been sitting at the service centre on its second stint for the past fortnight almost. The result is I have been without a mobile all this while. Even now, some parts have not been located. Since this is the second time, back to back, that the instrument has gone to the centre, I think there is something seriously wrong with the model and I do need a phone immediately. I request Sony Ericsson to replace this with a more dependable model...if there is one. That there is something wrong with this model is quite clear because my elder son's phone has also packed up as a result of 'water vapour' formation...from the air!!! This too is absolutely untenable. Sony Ericsson thus is doubly responsible for these two unhappy rides that two trusting customers have been taken on.Looking for a sound and quick redressal.

                      I puchased Sony Ericsson W810i in April 2008. Within 2 months the mobile phone stop working.
                      From last one month, I am following up with service center and their customer support but no positive response and my mobile phone is still with them

                      The quality of product is bad and customer support/service is horrible.

                      I request other people not to buy any product of Sony Ericsson. Finally decision is yours.

                      Unfortunately I have to agree with this complaint. I purchased a w580i, (my the first and only Sony Ericson I will ever buy) the first one died within 1 week (and was replaced by the store I purchased the phone from not Sony Ericson). The second one died 6 months later. Both times they died out of the blue with no incidence of trauma or identifiable cause. When I called into warranty repair the phone representatives (multiple) were confrontational, and accusatory, insisting that I must have broken it. When I asked to speak to a customer care representative, or even someone else who might be better able to assist me a manager informed me that they are also the customer care representatives so there was no where I could further take my issue she was “it” and if I wanted to talk to someone else I would have to hang up and call back. I’m still perusing the issue, but I will not be purchasing another Sony Ericson and I would discourage anyone from doing so, or if they do to purchase a phone replacement plan from thier provider.

                      1. First off your Customer Support website does not work properly. The service Locator form generates and Error every time I submit it – see the screenshot of the error message appended below.



                      Infact the link below the form for search – which reads “find a specific location” also reloads the same page. One would imagine it would give an alternative way to finding the service centre list.



                      If you guys cant manage to keep the support site working then at least provide a simple list of service locations.

                      Sony Ericsson — Frustrating Experience with Sony Ericsson Customer Service Team

                      I had purchased Sony Ericsson's P1i mobile phone last year and had given it for repair twenty days back at Sony Ericsson's authorised service centres. At that time I was informed by the centre manager that I will get back my phone within 3-4 days. Till date I have not received my mobile and every time I enquire about the phone I am told that it will take 2-3 more days. To summarise my experience with Sony Ericsson's Customer service team, I would say that it was one of the most harassing experience I ever had with any other company whose product I have used.

                      It is not just the number of days by which the phone has been delayed that is frustrating it is the attitude of the servce team which treats customers as if they are doing a big favor by giving after-sales service. They had absolutely no regret in giving me the same standard reply and would shamelessly tell me that they have no mechanism of escaliting the matter.

                      I tried escalating the complaint through there call centre and was even more shocked at the way they treated me. The call was put on long holds and would be disconnected at their will. The call centre staff was extremely rude and indifferent to my concerns. I was given numerous false commitments of call backs, but till date no one has bothered to call/inform me.

                      I am absolutely frustrated and want to escalate the matter to the appropriate forum so that some meanigful action must be taken against all those executives who have been giving me false commitments. Please suggest me an appropriate way to taking the matter forward.

                      I agree with both Mr. Yash and Mr. Dushyant. I have submitted my W810i for servicing @ the Mobile technology service centre(address mentioned above). This is the third time I have submitted my phone to this service centre but the problem of my cell remains unresolved.

                      My phone is currently facing a charging problem. When I first submitted my phone to these guys they said that it has a circiut board problem and hence they sent it to their factory for repair. Later on they called me and said it was a connector problem and not a circuit problem.

                      I asked them to change the connector and I will pay the appropriate fees.I even bought a new battery from these guys @ Rs 950/-. Then finally when I collected my cell from it charged at their centre it worked fine. The very next day my phone was not rsponding when kept for charging.

                      I brought the problem to their notice and they observed that the battery was faulty and the connector had issues AGAIN!!!.On the same day, I submitted my phone for the third time to have it sent to the factory for repair.

                      Finally when the handset was delivered (around 2 weeks after the last submission i.e.today), the guys at there centre found out the cell was not responding again when kept for charging AGAIN!!!. They told me that it would take 2 more days to service.

                      This particular service centre really offers PATHETIC service. Try it once at your risk to get an experience.

                      To sum it up, its been over a month I have been doing without my phone because a really DEPLORABLE service offered by Sony Ericsson India (2nd largest mobile sellers in India). The same has been experienced by the customers visiting this particular centre

                      One more thing that I want to highlight here is that these guys sell batteries loose packed. Hence, a customer cannot be able to verify whether it is really a genuine SONY ERICSSON battery or not. Even the grey markets sell the batteries loose packed but at half the price. Sony Ericsson also does not have any mechanism to verify whether a particular battery is genuine or not.

                      Readers and users, after this experience I have made it a point not to even think of buying a Sony Ericsson phone ever again.
                      Mr.Dushyant please mail me the mail id of the Sony Ericsson head office you mentioned above if possible. Thanks.

                        Since then this set gets DEAD all of sudden though i am not using internet through which it can get virus infected, First time it gor dead on 6th dec 2008. When i contacted the shop from where i purchased the mobile set, they refused to intertain, instead they told me to contact Sony Ericsson service centre.
                        When i contacted them they told me that the mobile is dead because of virus and they did software upgrade and rectified the probel again it got dead on 8th feb 2008 and when agin i contacted them they told the same and did software upgrade, when i contacted sony ericssion customer care they told we will look into it and will contact the service centre peple and get the issue resolved.
                        Again the mobile is dead and the sony ericssion customer care people are telling me to contact the service centre.
                        THe problem is comming almost once in evry 2 months . This is the third time when the set went DEAD. and every time they are teeling the same thing and do software upgrade and resolved the issue temporarly.
                        PLease do the needful to get me out of this situation.

                        Sony Ericsson - W580i — Malfunctioning in the Mobile

                        This is to bring to your kind notice that i purchased Sony Ericsson W580i IMEI no. [protected] on November 23, 2008 from M/S Aarnie Telecom, BF-81, Janak Puri, New Delhi - 110058 vide its Cash Memo no. 501 dated November 23, 2008.


                        I had hardly used the mobile for 4-5 months that it started giving me trouble. There was a display problem for which i gave the mobile to the service center initially. The complaint ID was RJK 10835. I got the mobile back after a month. The whole display was changed as reported by the service center but even then the problem was not rectified. Then there was another problem. The Keypad was too hard and had to be pressed no. of times. So i was left with no option but to give the mobile again to the service center for repair for the display and keypad problem. I submitted the mobile on August 28, 2009. The complaint ID was RJK 11863. I got the mobile back on September 14, 2009 in the same condition as i submitted it. But the service center people said that they had replaced a no. of parts. But the keypad was still too hard to press due to which i had to submit it again without taking it. The complaint ID was RJK 12248. I also registered the complaint in your customer care center the complaint ID of which was 85112781. The whole motherboard was replaced. I got the mobile back on October 9, 2009. It was still malfunction. This time, the error was that it was showing Insert SIM message again & again when the SIM was already inside it. The display was also not adjusted properly. So, i had to submit it again with the service center on October 10, 2009. The latest complaint ID is RJK 12902. I have also registered a complaint in the customer care center the complaint ID of which is 85402246. So, my mobile has been with the service center since August 28, 2009. The mobile has been virtually with the service center right from May ' 09. You can check up your records with the service center. Besides, there is another problem in the mobile since the beginning. Whenever i make a call or receive a call, it shows a warning " CIP Herring not provided by the operator. Insecure Transmission. "


                        You will perhaps agree that due to some inherent defect in the mobile, i could not use it for most of the time and have been put into lots o[censored]nnecessary trouble & stress. I don't think that the mobile can be rectified as they have virtually done everything that could possibly been done to rectify the problem.


                        I request you to please look into the matter as this is giving me immense trouble. Its been 2 months since i have'n got the mobile back. I don't even have any other spare phone to use.

                        I would like to bring to your notice that I had purchased a Sony Handset Model W580i in Nov 2008. Within a month from the date of purchase, I had to take this set to service centre three times as it was creating problems; Third time its motherboard was changed.

                        Since then I have to take this set to service centre every month for different problems. Last time when I took my set to the service centre, I found that the upper panel lock of my set got broken which later on was fixed by the service centre by feviquick. Then I complained regarding the same after which the service centre replaced its upper panel.

                        Now few days back my set again started giving problem of low battery backup and charger and handsfree jack for which I again had to take it to the service centre. This time they are not able to see the IMI number and gave the reason that it is not visible due to the feviquick.

                        I regret to note that its been just 10 months since I purchased this Sony set and I am facing many problems with this hand set every now and then. Neither your customer care nor service centre/technical department is not able to provide me any permanent solution in this regard.

                        You are therefore requested to look into the matter and provide me a new handset or extend the warranty of the current hand set by one year otherwise I would have to move to the consumer court for further escalation in this matter.                         sony ericsson service sucks.i have also a problem regarding w580i jack.i have given my set to sony ericsson service station and i have got my cel in next 1 and half months with all fake parts in it, after this my cel was again creating problms, i complained to the service station and they said that they replaced its mother board coz of problem in it.they didn't bother to call or intimate me regarding the problems and finally my warranty period is now over.pls tell me what should i do now.all the repairing expenses are depending upon on my pocket.

                            respected sir/madam,

                            i gave my fone for repair at SURI TELECOM, 445/55 WEST GURU ANGAD NAGAR, GURUDWARA ROAD, LAXMI NAGAR, DELHI-92.

                            you people have kept my fone from last 1.5 month. from the last 1.5 month you people are misguiding me a lot. each time i go to collect my fone, you say 1 more week. i dont know what the hell services are you providing. my fone is in the warranty period and still i am not getting it corrected.

                            15 days ago i got a call from the service center, they asked me to collect the fone. when i went there the fone was still facing the same problems and was fitted with defected parts.

                            your customer care people are trying to make a fool out of me. now the last option i have is to go to consumer court. i[censored] people cant give me my fone back, then just give me in written that u have kept my fone from 1.5 months and u cant repair it, so that i can submit it to the consumer court. u people have no right to cheat us like this.

                            i want an immediate reply.

                            I have gived my mobile to be repaird to AXIUM Telecome a the first time only they have upgrade the software only then they said no we have donw a lot and we have report to show you which i dumy report second after 6 days i been back to them they said no there is a liqued dameged and sorry your mobile out of warranty and actually they are eating and drinking in mobile reparing place if any thing happen they will say no your mobile is damaged we will not reparied my mobbile is w910i the last job card no in axium is [protected]

                            ihave purchased a sony ericsson z555 mobile but after 2 months my mobile suffering from many problems then i went to service center for repair my mobile .there is a probleme in some buttons of keypad but they take lot of time to repair my mobile ie.20 days have passed but still they have not repaired my cell phone. why their service is very slow ...i request to you to provide fast services to costomers ...i am from india..state:haryana...city:panipat...

                            i accidently dropped my phone on to the floor, and then it stopped working, it landed on concrete that was dry. i sent my phone off to be repaired and they contacted me back saying it had water damage. which is not true, as it landed on a DRY concrete floor. then soni ericson send e a letter asking for nine pounds for them to send it back. which is of no use to me, as it will still not work. my phone is still under warrenty, but i feel as though there stating that it water damage just so they dont have to replace my phone, when we both no that it hasnt been into contact with any liquids what so ever. I would like them to repair my phone as its still under warrenty and not make an excuse that it is water damaged for it not to happen. i will not be satifisfied as a soni ericson customer unless my phone is repaired and sent back.

                              I bought a sony LCD TV of the model 32S series in March 2008. To my surprise, the TV stopped working last week just after use of 3 months and its been more than a week that Sony people have taken the TV from my home and have not returned it yet and they are again and again making fake promises of fixing it in a day or two.

                              Latest stunt being that they said that the part which is faulty has been oredred and it will come from Singapore... yes you heard it right ... singapore, ... company like Sony has to order parts from singapore and it will not be in for the next 1 week.

                              Is this what you call customer service and product quality when you pay almost 50K for a product.
                              Pathetic and worst customer service.

                              Another surprise, there is no escalation mechanism defined and in place, I am like stuck. Please guide how I move to consumer court and get it resolved.

                                i have taken my mobile to the service centre for sony ericsson.they checked it out and told me its mother board problem and it will take 40 days for replacing that.see i have bought it in mobile store on jan2008 the very next month i had software problem in my mobile then i got the software updated again for the next month i had problem in the data which got erased automatically then i took it to the service centre. the next month onwards i was facing a problem while calling in the display its showing calling but the person on the other side has picked up the call this much slow it was even then if i free my memory space. from the day of purchase i face one or the other problem. in the first month itself i requested for a repalcement but i didnt get ..buying a mobile for Rs20, 699 that i should keep on hanging on with the service centres. i have lot many works. i cant take it for service every day .is this the mobile service done by sony ericsson . if iam going for for replacement which will take 40 days what will i do for the 40 days . is that i should buy another mobile even after spending Rs20, 699 on mobile. my request is to provide me with spare mobile till my mobile gets repaired or make the repairing done very soon.


                                i has been past one month i have submitted my mobile to service center in bangalore marathahalli..still now they havent got it repaired each an even time i call them they give excuses saying that today it will happen tomorrow we will give u hand set but the next day when i call the same thing is happening.i loose many contacts since i am not using my mobile for past one month.they have been telling that we have ordered for new mother board.next day they tell we have recieved defective mother board so they will order again .i told ok
                                but next time when i went they told new motherboard has come but camera was not there. have called customer care for more than 5 times but no response . lastly i spoke to ritesh on wednesday (16/7/08).
                                Ritesh gave confirmation that he is responsible for getting handset on friday but today also i dint get handset.
                                is the sony ericsson providing duplicate models . such a branded company giving these kind of products and service to the customers really got vexed with sony ericcson. atleast take some neccessary action on the service center in marathahalli in bangalore..

                                Sony Ericsson / K850i — Disply crack

                                I have purchased k850i mobile 16 days back and now his disply crack inside portion without any physicaly damge.I have given it for repair at Sony authorised servicecenter. Service center people are saying that you have to pay 1200/-Rupees to get it repaired.
                                My Phone is in Warranty period.

                                Please send me any response of my compliant. I will take any decision.
                                Go to Consumer Forum... its consumer court. U will definetly get double the amount u have spent till now.
                                Your mobile set is gone defective within warranty period. Also Sony Ericsson Servioce Center is not giving you propt service. Your new mobile is giving frequent problems. It means the mobile is having manifacturing defect. You ask to Company for replacement the same with new one. If company is not responding propoerly to your problems, why con'nt you approach to Consumer Forum for justice.

                                Sony ericsson K850i mobile phone — No response from the Service Centre

                                my cell is under warranty and it had some hardware problem so i submitted my cell in Accel Frontline (Andheri East) Sony ericssion service center on 20.10.08.
                                But they have never updated me about my cell status three times they gave me different dates to call and check what is the status of the cell. When i called them on 4.11.08 the person told me that still your cell H/W is unavailable. As i always use my cell to check my mails i am getting many problems in my work and in my personal routine. My call number for the complaint is : MUA-SE-026575/2008.
                                I also am 1 of the tortured owner of Sony Ericsson K850i, and guess what, after i browsed the consumer forum i was quickly able to make it out that most of the complaints on K850i is that the phone restarts itself which also is one of the problem with my handset . This actually is a manufacturing deffect which the company was aware off, that being the reason the company had manufactured limited phones and stopped it . Our fight should be against Sony Ericsson . pls reply to me ASAP [protected]@rediffmail.com .

                                Sony Ericsson / K850i — irresponsibility

                                I have purchased a sony ericsson k850i model hand set from sony world, siliguri, west bengal but after 2-3 months I have seen that the key pad automatically loosed from the platform.The said hand set immediately handed over & complain at sony ericsson service centre siliguri for it's repaire. My complain ID SEO[protected] dt. 04.12.2008. They said to me that it's case has to be changed and it has no covered by warranty. I have told that I am agree to provide the expenses to change the case after that they have given me the complain sheet and promised that within short time they will return me after repaier but till now they can't to give me my hand set. This causes I have been suffering many kinds of problems.

                                Please look in this mater and solve my problem.

                                i had to shell out 400 buks to get a new one...the list of problems is very long a vibrator dat does not work .. the main board was changed almost 10 times by the company it was in the service centre for almost 4 months..
                                now im having a lcd problem have to shell out 1700 buks to get it repaired...
                                im telling u dat never buy a sony it totally sucks the service is really bad

                                sell urs before it goes out of warrenty bec sony charge a lot for the parts of the phone n the phone has been discountinued so dont expect to get a gud 2nd hand price..go for a n79 or n82 or n85 all have 5mp camera but my personal experince says never ever go for a sony
                                I am also facing the same kind of problems with my k850i. Within 6 months, keypad got damaged and after 3 months display is not working. In the service centers they always say because of water formation it is got damaged and it will not be under warranty. Customer care center won't respond. Better to stay away from sony ericsson.
                                Hi, I purchased K 850i in May 2008 and three month latter I started getting problem related to display. the display stopped blowing during the use of key pad. Since the service centers were far away from my place so I visited the service center in Oct 08 only and they re installed the software. but again few days latter the same problem started happening. I could not visit the service center due to no time and I locate away from city. Now I have given my phone to one of my relatives staying in Kanpur and he visited service center on 11.04.09. they kept the phone for one week and when they returned after reaching home we realized same problem.
                                In between I contacted SE customer care and they assure to help me if I provide the details of service center and service req. no. but nothing happened.
                                When I spoke to service center, they asked me to come to them again and they will look into it.
                                I don't understand what they did for one week with the phone and how can I take out so much time to hang up with service center. Next month the warranty will get expired and I will stand no where.

                                Please suggest what to do now?
                                u should show the to warranty card, i not try your best to go to any sonycenter to make a report.of eles if they cant do it u will have to go to another shop to get a better price

                                    I just purchased my new cell phone a month back. Its model is W580i. Now the sounds in the system are gettin struck up. I gave it to a authorised service center. They said that they had corrected the problem but still i get the same problem once again. Can I appeal for a replacement of the product since i have a full year s warranty remaining. Please help me

                                    After 10 days we launched a complaint for breaking of key pad without any physical damage at Accel Front Line (Sony ericsson service center) in mysore but they have give reason as warranty has not covered for this problem.And i have send the broken key pad scaned copy to ur web site also by another service center located at Dev Raj urs road Mysore. And after few days i faced another problem in set of Not charging properly and again i went for that service center (Accel Front Line) and those people r taken 7 days for rectification and then we went after 7 days those people told that the board has some problem so kindly come after an week. Then we agree for that and we went after an week we got back our mobile.And for few days there was no problem in hand set after 15 days we again face the same problem but they people told that their is problem in board again and again we are facing same problem but due to this am facing so many problems please do needful for me otherwise i will go for consumer court and i will go for media also against the company

                                    I have submited my W700i to the Dedug Multi Services only one authorised service center in Aurangabad (Maharashtra) on 23/07/2009. First they told me pay Rs.100 for checking, then after 2day's they told me its keypad problem it wil charge Rs 1500/- and handset will be ready on 31/07/2009. When I went to service center on 31/07/2009. they said you should call us first and then come, your handset is not ready and come after 3-4day's now when I call to the service center they told me your head set IC is not working your head set is send to company and we are not having any idea about when it be repaired, then I told them I will have to complain about it. They replied your handset is not in warranty so you can't complain about it anywere.

                                    we have purchased w705 mobile in August 2010. we gave this mobile in the service center as the ON button is not working. later the service person said that the screen has been damaged and so the mobile is not working. i doubt that it is not possible, and more over the LCD screen is having scratches on the back of it. How is that possible for a new mobile to have scratches in the inner part of it if the mobile is not opened, and when asked the SERVICE PERSON says "WE DON'T KNOW" . So i want to know the part no of my LCD screen. Can you help me out of this problem. theses service person changed simply 3 LCD screen in front o[censored]s for other sony ericsons models.

                                    Im using touch screen model W950I four years.Im giving my mobile to change touch pad.
                                    The service centre return to me the mobile not in proper working. Im inserting the sim card the sim card is not detecting my mobile.After working only my phone memory not functioning multimedia memory.
                                    They r told mobile board is problem.what can I do now. I dont know the problem how arised. I give only the purpose of Touch pad problem.

                                    Sony Ericsson service centres are the worst centres i have ever seen. Among these service centres Borivali (W) centre is in the top of all the worst centres. No proper Behaviour, no proper solution and exchanges the original parts with their existing old ones. And even the customer care does not listen to customer problems. If it was in my hand i would have closed that centre. I strong recommend to all people never go for Sony Ericsson cell phones.

                                      i m your cusotmer sony ericsson k550i i purchased this handset from one of your outlet satyam telecom(jayanti bazar jaipur rajasthan) in the month 07 july 2007, i m facing the problem about "WHITE SCREEN" and complained for the same 6 times in last 4 months at ur service center situated at jayanti bazar(jaipur rajasthan) they always kept this handset for more than 15 days and last time i submited this on 16the june 2008 and i received back this on 12the july 2008 with the final and sure commitment that now onwards i won't face the same problme but again same day i received the same problme with error msg:"inactive sim card" i m highly unhappy and dissatified with ur services pls concern my matter asap or i will take a legal action on the same...
