NOKIA/N72 — No any provision for trace My mobile after it has theft(Lost)

Dear Sir,
i kiron gogoi , using nokia mobile from last eight years. Having lot of confidence for the brand image and from the side of technololy. And frequently come to my knowledge that nokia care may trace a its mobile from IMEI no after theft(lost). I have bought a Nokia N-72(IMEI NO-[protected]). and unfortunetly lost it from theft within ten days from buying day. I have lost my all valuable contact number as well as many confidential data. without these data my life become paralysed. And now i feel that i never feelup these lost. So, as per my knowledge your service provider may trace my mobile. It would consider as great help and i may alloways thanksfull to your company.

Sony Ericsson S500i Mobile set — No support

I bought a Sony ericsson mobile set from Sri Sai One Shop, #78/1-1, Gandhi Bazzar Main Road, Bangalore -560004. I paid 10,850 rupees towards Sony ericsson model S500i by cash. Two months back my mobile set slipped from my hand and TFT screen had broken, from that day my mobile set kept hanging frequently. I went around 4 times to this shop for support service, the proprietor is not taking the risk of support and service for the same. Neither he is pointing to support station nor guiding me properly for the same. Its been more than a month I keep visiting for the support and service but his response was not up to the mark. Please kindly guide me on this.

I purchased the phone on 2.02.08. The IMEI No. [protected]. As my phone was unable to recognise the charger I gavw it at your authorised service center at 18, rabindra sarani, Poddar court, Gate No.3, 2nd Floor, kolkta. My case id no. 2WC:[protected]. But till now I am not getting my phone back and the officials are not confirming the probale date for returning it back. They are only replying that when the phone will okay they will call me. After 15 days it is really pathatic to hear this kind o[censored]nproffesional reply 4m a esteemed company like Sony Ericson???? Am I commited a mistake by buying a hand set 4m ur company????????

    We have purchased a Hi-Fi music system of Sony – Model No. DHC-AZ2D, Serial No. 6100261 in the name of MR. Rama Shankar Rath on 25th March, 2007 through Unique Electronics, New Delhi. From the day when the system was installed till now, it did not give any technical problem.

    In the mid of May, while changing a disk (DVD) in the disk player of the music system, the player did not work. It is neither taking any disk in nor out since then. Rather there is some continuous rolling sound coming from inside. Except the DVD player, rest of its units (FM radio, Tape, etc) are working fine.

    This model (DHC-AZ2D) usually gives the same kind of problem with the DVD player. Many of my friends who are having this same model of Sony Hi-Fi music system reported the similar kind of issue with the DVD player. One of my Friends (Mr. shoaib Zahir, residing at Mumbai) has the same model. He too experienced the same technical problem with the DVD player unit and that to just after his warranty period got over. He had written a mail requesting to replace it. The service team of Sony India had visited his place and replaced the unit for FREE.

    We wrote a mail requesting to replace the DVD player unit of my music system with new one without charging me any money for that like they did for Mr. Shoaib. I would also like to mention here that its just over 13 months that we have purchased this music system and recently (only 1 month back) the warranty period of the music system got over.

    Now after writing this above complain/request to their customer care ID (sonyindia.[protected]@ap.sony.com), I got a auto-generated mail with a Request ID - 2982792. Its being more than a week and no one bothered to revert back to my above request.

    Then I called the nearest authorized service station of sony (Shri Amba Service Staion) which is located at CR Park, South Delhi at this number[protected]. Now they are charging me Rs. 550 (+ 12.5% Service charge + Rs. 100 as home visiting charge) as Service charge only. They are also telling us that if they is some problem in the DVD player unit then we need to replace it with a newer one by paying Rs. 4000 to Rs.5000 more even though we have purchased the music system just a year ago for Rs. 20, 000.

    The same problem is with me with same model. In fact, the company has very poor service to customer . The model DHC-AZ2D is not a successful model with such high price and low quality product. I don't understand, why company behaves their customer like this in such a compititive market ?
    I am also facing the same problem after purchasing the unit. Just for 1 year the system were working fine but after that the CD/DVD loading problem, gear were getting skipped & reading problem. The sony service centre also charges very high so that we think twice before calling them.

    I do'nt know why the company like sony launch these type of product & moreover they have not withdrawn after so many problem just like Nokia who once have withdrawn the batteries which were not meeting the requirements or company standard.

    After paying such a huge amount, company is just sleeping. I think we should roll these news if comany is not supporting.
    Sir, Unable to detect the hardware'sony digital music player' model no. NWZ-B152F, also unable to charge the battery through a running computer.

      My SE W830i went white. I switch it on and all i get is a white screen. I tried removing batteries, recharging and then tried to update the phones software using SEUS(Sony Ericsson Update Service). Nothing worked. Took it to a authorized service center Vimas Intek, Near Ayyappan Temple, Annanagar, Chennai. As usual the service center is crowded and i was in queue. After some 20 minutes i was called and i showed my phone to the technical person there. I said how my phone suddenly went to a white screen and i also said that my phone is still in warranty. He immediately opened my phone and said that the screen got corrupted due to a water abuse and it would cost me Rs.4000+ and it would take a week to fix it. I was shocked. Water? Where? I have not used the phone for the past 2 months, due to restrictions in my office and there is no way my phone was abused with water and it was working fine till yesterday. When i argued he opened and showed me inside the phone cover. It had a small strip in the inside and he said its basically yellow until it comes in contact with water. If there is any contact, it turns red. And the strip was red. He also said this strip is to find if a phone is really abused with water.

      Again i argued it was working fine for the past 2 months and i have never even taken it out of my shelf. My phones color strip could have turned red because of sweat or water contact long back. But i was sure this white screen problem is definitely not due to water and suspected it to be a software problem.

      I requested him to replace my screen free of cost. i mean its still in warranty period, but he refused to replace it because according to him, fault is on my side. He also said that he has purchased all the spares out of his own investment and can't expect sony ericsson to approve of replacing a damaged screen for customers error. What the hell? Why should a service center buy spares out of its own damn pocket? This is very wrong. There are chances that these service centers can push some spares in to customers phones just for the heck of it. I'm not sure how many are already cheated and paid for nothing. I didn't believe what the service guy said. I argued again and then he gave me a slip stating my mobile model number, serial number and he also mentioned water problem. And told me that if i'm not satisfied, i can take this mobile and this slip to the head office, Salora International at Nungambakkam, Chennai. And i decided to go there.

      At Salora International, I had a whole different experience. Again i had to wait in queue, but only 5 minutes. I was suspicious about giving the slip to these guys, the Vimas Intek guy gave me. Because if they see the slip stating that my mobile had water abuse, they won't really try to find what the problem is. So i didn't say a word about my previous encounter with another Service Center. I said that the phone is still under warranty. Again this guy opened my phone immediately. Oooops!!! I was expecting a response similar to the previous one, telling that my phone was abused with water and blah blah blah. But no!!! This guy suspected it could be a software problem and took it in to a room. I was puzzled whether it would work out. Because, i have already tried the Update Service, myself with my PC. After some fifteen minutes, the guy came out and said, ... Its working! Thank god! They were really awesome and up to the point. They must be having some advanced method to correct corrupted phone softwares. They asked me for a xerox copy of the purchase bill and i provided them. And they did this free of cost, because i was in warranty period. In no time i was using my phone as usual.

      Vimas Intek guy blew this silly software problem to a huge screen replacement problem. Sony Ericsson must do something about this. He is ruining Sony Ericsson's name. He is trying to sell his spares to customers. Also he is refusing to replace it under warranty and trying to push it just for his profit. I hope Sony Ericsson can see the point. I really pity the SE customers who goes to the wrong guys like these and get suffered. Sony Ericsson, do something, cancel this guys contract. Or he is going to pose a threat for SE customers like myself.

            I had purchased sony ericsson W810I mobile phone in October 2007 and its in warranty. And i facing the problem that it got hanged and battery is not geeting charged. It has been more than one month that my problem has not been resolved. i deposited the mobile to authorized service centre 3 times and still it is with them and now they say that it will another 15-20 days as the will change its port. i even contacted the customer care and it has been found that my case no is closed without even having a call from them. This is pathetic service which I am getting from such a big company. I am facing a lot of inconvenience because I m not having any other mobile. They are still not making any progress.

              I purchase mobile[protected] sony ericsson W810i SBlack IMEI:[protected] as on 16/11/07 Invoice no. MH/01005/00001/9725 from Essar Telecom Retail Ltd. Vile Parle. After six months the handset not work properly so we complaint on retail shop & the send to us at ACCEL Frontline Limited our complaint no.MUA-SE-545766-CP, they reply us that there was problem in motherboard we can't do anythig & sent to us at retail shop. So After this inconveniyant service i decided to go at consumer Forum & complaint under consumer protection act 1986. Kindly reply to us as early as possible otherwise i will go throught consumer court precedure.

              hello sir iam taken sonyericssion k770i model no mobile but my mobile keypad is damaged

              This is with regret i have to inform you that my set has developed problems the day it was purchased from, it first developed problems with the battery back up an the keypad was not working properly. I deposited the handset in Care Point( Sony Ericsson Service Centre) and they fixed the problem by re-installing the software. Second time it developed same problems again and they solved it by changing the battery. Third time they have taken my cell for changing the board and kept with them for nearly 2weeks.But instead of changing the board they have re-installed the software again. After that it developed series of problems and its the 6th or 7th time am approaching customer care for assistance. Now the headset also showing some problems.

              I am sure that a faulty set has been given to me and i have lost the trust in the current handset.It has been currently given to the Care Point, 1st floor, Das building, Opp. Apsara theatre, Railway Link Road, Calicut.               Last year I bought sony ericssons Hazel- J20i model, for initial 2 months it was working fine but then suddenly it started giving following problems:

              1. Voice Quality not clear (can't even hear other persons voice)
              2. Camera problems (picture quality, colors etc)

              I submitted it at the service station and they returned me after 45 days. Voice quality was now a bit better for some days but after 30 days again the same problems start appearing.

              On 24th Aug 2011, I again submitted at the sony ericsson's service center in Chandigarh. They told me that issue is with receiver and need to be replaced and it will take 15 days. On 9th September I got it back but when I checked I found that problem was not resolved.

              On 12th September I submitted it again at service center, technician told me that he will again replace some other part of the receiver and it will start working fine. They don't have spare parts in stock so will take another 15 days. Today on 30th September when I again went to receive it, I found that its still the same, voice quality is still very bad and can't be managed with. I am not sure why its occurring again and again after numbers repair at authorized service station. So I refused to accept the cell, they said it can't be repaired more. I was surprised to see their misbehavior and false claim that its working fine.

              I can't do without a mobile phone for long so please get it repaired ASAP or if it can't be repaired, please replace it.

              In absence of satisfactory actions from you will only leave me option to pull sony ericsson to consumer court.

                I gave my blue tooth for replacement as the new one purchased failed within the warranty period (6 months) . The service centre Accel which is the authorized service centre for these products have unable to replace till date.

                Complaint Number :SFI-SE-535037-CP dated 17-05-08 time 12.08pm

                Ever since I have been following up with the company there has been no proper response. I have always been given answers that the problem is not resolved, We are waiting for the spare, call after two days etc etc.

                This is not the first time that I have faced these problems earlier when the camera had to be replaced they did the same and only after writing stinking letters to their management was the problem rectified after three weeks.

                Are Sony Ericsson's Mobiles really bad? Does Sony not have a better service provider than the current one. Looks like I made a mistake picking up a Sony Mobile.

                My experience with NOKIA is excellent.

                  This was already render to your authorized service center at Jabalpur, but so for we have not received response from them.

                  Apart from it the user guide given with the model is not in US English which cause me difficult to get guidance from Manuel. M/s. Imperial Radios, Gwalior, is not ready to repair or replace the defective piece, as well as supply to user guide in US English.

                    I am using same model. 1st yr it worked fine, but now I am also facing the same problem.
                    Sony is no more good.
                    I buy the Sony mini component, MHC-GNZ8D model, at first it works good. After two months of frequent used, its not working anymore. I bring the component to the nearest service center to fixed it. Eventually it works again. After one month it doesnt work again. Why is it that the component failed at very short time only. Im really embarrased because it cost twenty one thousand pesos at that year, 2007.The component now is really dead. Sony is no more good.
                    i got the same system as a gift for my tenth standard good results.i am doing engineering now and it is as good as it was three years ago.it completely rocks.some of my cousins are even jealous of it.
                    I bought the system MHC-GNZ8D 3 years ago. Its DVD player was not working from then only and when I contacted the service center, they told me that the board of the system is corrupt and it needs to be changed which would cost around Rs 6000/-. This is really very disgusting, and it is unexpected from brand like SONY. Really SONY is no more good.
                    i have bought the same model of sony three years back from a well reputed shop in chennai unfortunately the system went down the next week of the guarantee expiry. and got my power supply unit changed with a payment of Rs.4800 at a authorized sony service centre and now once again i got my power button blinking and unable to use my sony system and it is almost dead. the products of sony are getting worster then ever nowadays.
                    i have brought the same model, the problem is that DVD tray opens auotomatically while in between playing the disk.
                    i brought same model on 25/11/2005.
                    still no complaints.its work fine.what a smooth sound...
                    I brought it for rs:18, 000. After 2 years, i sold it for rs: 8, 000.

                    I have the same model MHC - GNZ8D. The system performed well for 3 years until last year. The tray opens by itself while playing and then I have to stop the movie and send the tray back inside. Now I am getting an error C 31 : 00. According to the manual, it says Disc not inserted properly, restart system and reload disc. But the Tray itself does not eject. I had so much hopes on Sony. All my hopes has gone now. I had been a strong fan of Sony just because of its standards and quality. It no longer is the usual Sony now.

                    I have purchase Sony mini hi fi that becomes hang and service centre is not ready to correct that every time they required to carry that set at their service centre &amp; no telephonic response from them. I hate Sony services.
                    I had purchased this product in 2007. There were no issues for 3 years from date of purchase. Then the saga of issues started occurring, i had to replace DVD reader 2 times and third time same issue. I am now no more interested with DVD read so not playing DVDs.However recently started facing issue with sound output, sound output fades out in some time. I got it serviced and worked fine for 2 days and then again same problem. I have almost invested 7-8k in maintenance. This is the worst sony product i have ever seen.
                    Can anyone help out if those speakers can be used same way...like purchasing amplifier..but question is how to decide amplifier needed.
                    I have purchased sony MHC GNZ8D model in the year 2007. For one year it worked well, but after that it continuously getting repair. Problems was Dvd cd is not running it shows insert disk. Disk tray automatically opens while playing. Near 3 to 4 times it got repaired from Authorized service center near SECUNDERABAD PARADISE. Every time they will say that they will get products from Delhi and repair it. Dont know what they will repair. After few days of repair again DVD problem comming. Not happy with sony products. waste sony other brands are better. I lost lot of money by purchasing it.
                    I have purchased the same model MHC GNZ8Din 2004. up to now it worked fine but now when the power supply is on, it directly goes to the standby mode...I contacted the authorized service center but they refused to repair it as the told me that there are no availability of spare parts from the company...

                        Sony cybershot camera — non deliverance of goods at sait address

                        We had ordered a sony cybershot camera through shoppingindiatimes.com. It was claimed that it will be available at a cost of Rs6999+delivery charges of Rs150.Accordingly an amount of Rs7149 was debited to my credit card on 21-10-09.We had given address as Farooq Ahmed Bhat.C/o Jayco Electronics,Qureshi Building,Budshah Chowk,Srinagar,Kashmir. Today i was shocked to hear from some courier company guy that the item has reached jammu and i was told to collect the same from Jammu which is 300 kms(hilly road) away from my given address. I fail to understand how the item has been despatched to Jammu instead of given Srinagar address.Please take necessary steps for delivery of item at Srinagar.
                        I agree with the said complaint. The guys sitting over there has failed to deliver the said item at given address.

                        Sony cybershot camera — The product has been supplied with no memory card

                        The camera has nomemory card hence can take only one photograph and then is not functional.
                        I am going to SonyWorld to find a memory card and if it is not available the seller has to supply one
                        or refund the amount and take the camera back as it is useless.

                          I bought a SONY Home Theatre from SOny World on May 18, 2008. Despite several reminders and phone calls NO personnel turned up for the Installation. After numerous followups, SOny India sends an so called technician with NO tools to install. After Five days of Struggle, mental agony and followups was the Home Theatre Installed. The technician installing the product had absolutely no knowledge of the system and had not given any information about the product.
                          Sony, being a sought after brand globally needs to be wary of the word "CUSTOMER SATISFACTION", which unfortunately doesnot exist with the people it employs for meeting the end customer expectations.
                          POOR SHOW !!!
                          PS: I still donot know a lot of functions and NO SUPPORT !!!
                          Service is Fantastic, I got demo of home theatre within next day of purchase

                            This is regarding 1 Sony Ericsson Set, W580i, where there were some problem in the switches of the set, Being in the warrantty same was submitted to Sector-40, Sony Ericsson Centre (frenchiee: SOLAR INTERNATINAL LTD ) My collegue has visited N numbers of time there but still those peples are on same plateform. that some instrument (bounger etc etc) has not yet come from there storage office Delhi or what ever. This set is in the name of Mr Sanjai kumar singh and same was puchased by me from him.Its been Three months that Not even a Single Call has been made to the number which was given in the acknowledgment sheet.Moreover there is Mr. Vikram (TEAM LEADER) who don't have general ettiquittes that how to talk to the customer who are already bursted with the problems faced.due to service negligence from soni Ericsson Part.

                            Yesterday, I visited this office and meat mMr. vikram and asked for my set, He just handover me the set by saying that same has came from Delhi after rectification of problem. but when I forced him to get this checked there and than .He than discuss with some other person and than same problem was there in front of me.They again opened my set and tried to do what they could be able to do at that moment of time. than I was committed that same would be Repaired by today or maximum by today that is : today ( the 08-May-09) but today when i called the person on Mobile no-[protected], the same was switched off. .Now I again called on this number and discussed with the Mr. shekhar. he again took half an hour from me to revert back.

                            I am very very Fad up with the service being availed by me and If company is arranging or launching new Sets day by day than there must be Its service quality on the parallel side.

                            I hereby again requests that maximum to maximum by this week This must be done . Otherwise I will be left with no option other than ligigations against the sony Ericsson.

                              I gave my Sony Cybershot W5 for repair at RMS Technologies Pvt Ltd, Bangalore service center of Sony India on 24 April in Jayanagar. The worst part is I have paid the money for the repair of the lens on 26 April and by the time i got it home it stuck again and I gave it back and am still to hear from them since 26 April. I have contacted Sony India, the centre and the regional office repeatedly everyday and been assured they will call back but to no avail. I can neither see my camera nor my money!

                                I would like to infm that i hd purchased this sony ericsson mobile 02.05.07 and hd some problem in the main screen and I have given the mobile on 23rd April 2008 to Garage De Telecon / NO:10, 1ST FLOOR, DURAISAMY ROAD, T.NAGAR, CHENNAI - 17 for service vide JS.NO: 2976. and they hv promised that the problem will be rectified within a day or two.


                                inspite of repeated phone calls and visit to your office, untill today there is no proper response fm your good office.

                                I don't think you need 23 days to rectify this problem ????????

                                We are in the service industry, you know the usage of mobile phones... But the way you treat the customer is not at all acceptable.

                                    Dear Sir,
                                    This is in regard to the pathetice service by one of Sony ericsson service center ACCEL FRONT LINE LIMITED, Valluvar kottam high Road, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. And the problems I am facing since one and half month with them.

                                    To begin with the series of the incidents I have bought Sony Ericcson Mobile series no W580i on 26/12/07.In the month of April, there was some problem with the camera as whenever it is on the phone was hunging. I have approached one of Sony Ericsson service center (ACCEL FRONT LINE LIMITED located in Chennai) on 07/04/08 to get the problem rectified, I handed over the mobile to them and they have asked me to call after 02 working days. When I have called after two days, i was told that they have dismantled the mobile and discovered that the problem is with mother board. Please explain me one thing If the problem was with motherboard how would the other applications work and only camera does not work. However, the staff in servicing center informed me that they have to order the spare part and after 4 or 5 working days they would get the mobile repaired. When I have seen the mobile I have asked them for a replacement as the nmobile has warranty. The Manager Mr D. L. Siva kumar asked me to call the call center[protected] for the replacement as they would only action on their instructions.
                                    On 18/04/08 I spoke to Mr. Nishant form the call center and he taken the complaint and and he given me the Case no 6412. He told me that they will discuss with servicing center people about the complaint and call back within 72 working hrs. After that no one called me so my self I called again to call center after 72 working hrs. And I talk to Mr. Rajiv He informed me that the spare part has to come we are waiting for that and it will take another 5 or 6 days. Again I called after 5days and I talk to Mr. Amith I explained everything to him he told me sorry for the problem
                                    Sir give me 48 working hrs. We will solve your problem. Again the same thing no one called me so my self I called to call center this time I spoken again to Mr. Nishant and he told sorry I cant remember you I given my case no 6412 than he told sorry sir still we are waiting for the spare part. I got angry and I shouted I got the mobile 3 months back no physical damage is there but the camera is hanging and servicing center people told the mother board has to change and for that you are taking more than 20 days and you are telling still it will take some days to get the part, with out my mistake mobile got big problem so I need a replacement and he told sorry sir whatever problem it is we will solve it we cant give replacement any way with in 4 or 5 days we will solve your problem. An is already sent to the service center and If I am still not satisfied I would be given replacement.
                                    on 05/05/08 I called to servicing center and those people told your mobile got ready you can get it and I went to servicing center they kept me waited for one hour and Mr. D. L. Siva Kumar manager of the servicing center told sorry sir your mobile problem didn’t got solved the part what we got from head office is not rectifying the problem again the was camera hanging. So we will get back to you with in two days I ask them you taken one month and now you are telling the same problem. I don’t want that mobile I want a new one. Sorry we cant give new one what ever time it may take we can give you repaired one. I placed a new complaint on your mobile the call id was SFI-SE-519048 and I placed a request for the sony for the spare part and the request
                                    id was SES[protected]M we cant do any thing up to getting the spare part if you have any problem you just call to call center and ask them new mobile if you force them they will give you new mobile. Immediately I called to call center and those people told sir your mabile got ready and your case got closed no 28/04/08, you can get your mobile sir. Than I shouted on that executive that now I went to service center those people telling its not rectified you are telling tis already ready than he told same answer is it sir than I will note the complaint and will doscuss with servicing center people and call you back with in 72 working hours. After 4 days also I didn’t get any call my self I called on 12/05/08 to call center I talked to Miss Nishitha and I explained the whole thing to her sorry sir we didn’t discuss with servicing centre people we will talk to them and with in 48 working hrs.we will call back to you. After finishing the call I called to cervive centre and talk to Mr. D. L. Siva Kumar, he told today morning only we got a mail about your case from head office I send them that it cant solved so costumer asking new mobile so with in two days you will get replacement.
                                    Call center people are telling still we have to talk with service centre people and the service centre Manager telling that I already sent request for the replacement at the same time how many years it will take to reach a e-mail from Chennai to head office. After two days 15/05/08 I called to Mr. D. L. Siva Kumar he told from head office they dispatched the replacement and you will get new mobile on Saturday means on 17/05/08. and today also they are teling same thing to wait for some time

                                    Vexed up with every thing I would take this matter to Media and file a case against the concerned then the reply was to do as per my wish.Being in serive industry how can the staff be so irresponsible and illmannered. There is no one to respond the call nor to take initiative and resolve the issue.
                                    In this regard I want to make it clear if the same is not resolved in 02days, I have to take up this issue to media( I am a News Editor in Sun TV Net work ), and file a case against the concerned parties in consumer foru.

                                    nd the problems I am facing since TWO months with them.I have bought Sony Ericcson Mobile series no K770i(brown) on 19/03/08.In the month of march from patiala.but with in 15days since date of purchasing, colour from the key pad started vanish away. I have approached one of Sony Ericsson service center at 22no.fatak near fly over.in patiala four times to get the problem rectified, every time they said.we have mailed our head office..wait for reply..but till date i have not received any reply from them...now they are saying that nothing can be done regarding this problem of key pad..well this is hurting me alot.i have spent 13000/-for this mobile.and now getting such respons from one of your service center.
                                    Vexed up with every thing I would take this matter to Media and file a case against the concerned then the reply was to do as per my wish.Being in serivce industry how can the staff be so irresponsible and illmannered. I contacted the customer care sony and gave my cell for repair at SIL which is sonyericsson service centre. at Anand plaza, Udaipur Rajasthan. But the phone is not repaired till now and now they say the problem is with mother board which needs to be replaced. Since it is more than one month since i gave the phone for repairing, i asked for the replacement of the phone because im facing lit of inconvenience because I m not having any other mobile. They are still not making any progress.

                                    I purchased a W580i on June 25, 2008.
                                    Just a day after I bought it most of my collegues told I should'nt have bought it. I did'nt take it seriously then since my piece seemed to wrk fine. One of my friends did tell me that she had an experience with the handset and knew for first hand that the handset was'nt good. I could'nt ignore her when she told me that her phone had developed display problems and eventually she had to get the motherboard replaced. All this within the first month of purchase. Now I know atleast three other friends who went through the same trouble within 3 months of purchasing the handset.
                                    So when My phone developed issue's with the speaker (withen 20 days of purchase) I wasted no time in returning the handset to the Andheri Service Center (ACCEL FRONTLINE LIMITED) for replacment. I deposited my cell phone with ACCEL FRONTLINE LIMITED on July 17, 2008. Since they did not consider replacement over a speaker issue. I raised a complaint with Sony Ericsson soon after. But it seems Customer Service and SE* are two different entities who dont know each other. My complaint was raised on June 21st 2008 and since then they have been asking me to call after two days as they have not recieved any feedback from the service center. Out of frustration when I asked for floor supervisors I was either placed on long holds or hung up on. I did manage to speak to Manish, Nilesh and Vijay Sharma on other occasions. But on subsequent follow ups they all turned out to be non existent entities. SE* customer care associates told me there are no floor supervisors with that name in Sony Ericsson. Meanwhile towards July end I got a call from ACCEL's chennai head office stating that the phone has been repaired, Since my complaint with Sony Ericsson was still unresolved I decided to wait and collect it later.
                                    Mean while there was'nt much happening from Sony Ericsson Customer Care end. Does'nt look like they cared really, I was still being asked to call after two days. With Sony Ericcson these two days just did'nt seem to end. Because the calls to Customer care were'nt bearing any fruit I email at questions.[protected]@support.sonyericsson.com . Three emails sent in the last two weeks and still no reply. I've learnt to expect this from Sony Ericsson now.
                                    Yesterday on August 08, 2008 out of frustration I decided to go back to ACCEL and pick up my handset understanding very well that SE* would'nt care much about its customers after pocketing our money.
                                    What happened at the Service Center inspired me to write this review. I noticed that all the service center executives were using cell phones deposited by customers for servicing. I know this because all these phones had stickers with complaint numbers on them. That apart when I asked for my handset I was told it was'nt ready. Shocked I reminded them that I had a call last week from them asking me to collect the handset. they refused this saying that the handset was never ready since they are still waiting to get the replacment motherboard (2nd Shock) from SE*.
                                    Three questions :
                                    1. Why did ACCEL Channai ask me to collect the handset if its not ready?
                                    2. Why was I never informed about this motherboard issue?
                                    3. If its really a motherboard issue, After have the handset for over 20 days why are they still waiting for the replacment?

                                    ACCEL has asked me to check on the handset after a week. Meanwhile SE continues to ignore my emails. Not single email since the complaint was initiated on July 21, 2008.

                                    The Phone has major issue's with its motherboard and display. Avoid it.

                                    I'm from Chennai.

                                    Accel Front Line service is absolute scrap. I was lured by a salesman and bought a lesser known brand mobile phone called FLY SX 210. The problems started right from the first day. Poor battery, loose power/handsfree connection and more importantly poor reception.

                                    I compounded my problems by breaking the display. All these happened within 4 months of buying the mobile. I gave the mobile for repair on 17/09/2008 at Accel repair ( Nungabakkam, Opp to Police station) and my problems with Accel started. I never heard from them. Whenever I call, they do not attend the phone, if in case they attend they will give irresponsible answers. One final day on 30/10/2008 they agreed to return my mobile back with doing the repair. When I went to collect the phone, I was asked to come the next day and then the next day. Everytime, they made me to wait for atleast an hour before giving a negative reply. Poor customer support. They need to be penalised. I really cried for getting my mobile back (without getting it serviced).

                                    I think my experience should be a lesson for people buying lesser known brand mobile like FLY and for people going to Accel Front line for repair

                                    Mobile Defective and Bad Service from the sony erricson service centre

                                    I would like to inform you of my dissatisfaction with the Sony Ericssion P1i mobile phone and the service provided.Since I have bought this phone, it has been working well, until recently it stopped functioning normally. I returned the phone to your customer service(Trident United Products Private Limited Bangalore, Koramangala) on 20th January. The customer service representative informed me that the phone mother-board has to be replaced and they would make the phone ready in 10 days.

                                    1 Month later, the phone is still not working.I received my phone with the motherboard replaced on Feb 18, Within 2days i had to revisit the service center as the phone started hanging frequently.
                                    The manager promised me that he will replace it. But now they tell they haven't committed any thing like that

                                    On each occasion they have kept the phone and apparently worked on it with no luck. Their attempts to resolve the problem have not been satisfactory and they finally claim that there is nothing more they can do to help me.Even the customer care department[protected] wasn't able help me and solve the problem.

                                    And now they claim that they need 4 more working days to give back my cell. They need 2 months to solve a simple problem.And trust me guys they are meant to make false promises please don't trust them.

                                    I had purchased K790 i. It suddenly stopped working. I have given it in the sony ericsson center at Shivaji nagar Pune.
                                    The follow up and response service has been pathetic. I was told that that i will get my phone replaced in 4 days and then 2 days and so on . I have not yet received any follow up.
                                    I have visited the center 5 times and still they say after 4 days.There is no senior level available at the desk. I don't know when i will be getting my cell. No one picks up the call as well so have to visit physically.
                                    I don't know who is going to pay for the petrol expenses as well.
                                    Hope fully there will be a positive response to this complaint and lets see what happens or i need to paste this same complaint with the help of media.

I have had several other phone from motrolla and other companys but they services are so much better than the one you recieve frm this company.I had my phone repair for screen freeze and the key pad broke...i was under warranty. they "said they fixed it" but it wasn't i called them they told me to update the software for my phone ...did other troubleshooting stuff. Finally i gave up...now my phone is even worse than before. if someone were to call me or text . i go to my inbox for messages and it will say [ inbox (3) ] but it won't let me view it ! if some one called me i won't be able to see who call me last or anything..it automatically deletes it.the SONY ERICSON REPS tell me it a hardware failure ... they can't help me because i'm out of warranty.told them if you guys fixed my issue the 1st time around i wouldn't be having this issue.They said there sorry. but it;s too late..I mean should they be will to help the cx out...i mean...i've had this phone for 1yr and 2month and i been calling them about this issue ...but no ones assisted me. If sony ericson doesn't stand behind they products.they don't care bout the consumers. No. 1038, Dr Rajkumar road, 4th Block, Rajajinagar, Bangalore – 10 Ph:[protected] they said it’s a software update problem, after the repair the next day itself it was not working so I went & gave the set for repair second time, even that time also they have said it’s a software update problem & they took 9 days to repair that, I received the set on 13/6/09 back but end of the same day it was not working. again for the third time I given to repair Since the set was within warranty they said it's having mother board problem & it has to be changed, for that they took 11 days, finally I received set on 24/7/09 but by the evening again it was not working so again I went and given for repair, so I have asked them to replace my set, but they said I need to raise an complaint & after that only they can tell me the status.                                       the left soft key was damaged by its own .
                                      gave the phone to sony repair centre but it doesnt hav the required material from 2 months and many of the other mobiles of the same modle (w580i) are still in the service centre without any work done

                                      im not going to lie, but i actually like this phone, and i got it 3x's in less than 6 months because im buttons keep on breaking. On their own. Unless im doing them but i dont think i am. I would slide my phone open and they will be cracked in half. Im not sure why but the side buttons keep breaking. haha but currently my number four button is broken. im not buying a nother one for the 4th time, im just going to keep it like this.
                                      i have an problem in left side key.i have given my w580i in sony showroom .they repair and give it to me but days ago it does not work properly

                                        The system was bought in Baharin from Ashrafs W.L.L. on 19th May 2007, after clearly ascertaining the fact that service warranty/guarantee will be available in India.
                                        To my dismay, the system has not functioned properly even for a day. I have been continuously going to your service centre Shri Amba Serviced Pvt. Ltd. Ghaziabad U.P. India right from day one. But, unfortunately every time I return back with the set with another set of complaints. Either the service center is not capable or the set itself is having manufacturing defect. I have wasted lot of time, energy and money in getting the system operational, in the assumption that Sony will be producing and marketing only standard, quaslity checked products. After undergoing this harrowing experience I am forced to change my attitude/opinion about Sony a world renowned company.
                                        To name a few, particular complaint, 1. would not detect any DVD, 2. the various music adjustments would not function. 3.The DVD if detected, will not have any video output. 4.One channel of speakers would not function etc. etc.
                                        Now that the warranty period of one year is about to expire and having bought the latest system of Sony I have not had the pleasure of listening nor watching in the system even for a single day. I had only the pleasure of boasting of having a latest Sony product.
                                        Now I do not have any intention of getting it repaired for increasing my agony nor wasting my time and money.
                                        I demand that my set should be replaced forthwith. The serial number of the system is 3301641, one of the job card number is SGJ 23111 dated 23.03.2008 the rest of the copies I do not have at this moment.
                                        I reiterate that the set is having manufacturing defect and should be replaced without any further delay.
                                        I am very sure being a world renowned company, Sony will live upto its name and do the needful in the matter.
