Somy erricson mobile was purchased by me in february:

Status of mobile: dead
Date: 13th march

Called erricson customer care on 15th to confirm the timing and place of sonyerricson service center and got the status that lajpat nager service center will open until 1800 hrs (the same was confirmed from the service center also). when i visited the service center (at 1700 hrs) it was closed. i asked to log the complaint of the same at customer care as why it was closed before time and it was not mentioned while i talked to them in afternoon. the customer care executive refused to do so and didn't gave me the complaint number.

The mobile was submitted to service center of faridabad by me on 19th march. the date of return after rectifying the error is not commited to me. when the status was checked by me on 26th march (specially had to visit for checking the status) and found that the mobile was lying at the service center only and was not sent to the main office. when i asked for the time i was told that it will take minimum (minimun) 15 days more and then also no firm date was given.

Its a real harrasment to customer following up for his mobile so many time and not getting a justified answer. it seems that i had wasted 10000 rs just like that and sonyerricson people are not bothered about customer satisfaction.

I feel that the service center (lajpat nager and faridabad "near escort") should be closed immediatly and the customer care person taking my call should be put out of job.

Moreso sonyerricson should compensate me for all the damage done to me.

i bought Sony Ericsson mobile phone K530I on 29'jUne 2008 from Hot Spot centre in Rohini Sector-8 (Near Madhuban chowk). On Thursday i.e. 3'July 2008 I was sitting in the office & found out that one of the key of my mobile is missing. The key was one that is just above the back key. i found it really shocking that such a branded company can make such low quality products. In the evening I went to the hot spot centre rohini but they were not at all supportive. Please do not buy any phone from that hot spot centre b'coz their after sales support is nil. they told us to go to Sony Ericsson service centre which we did. But they also did not give any satisfactory answer. They said that they will contact the company & then let us know what can be done. I really feel cheated. I think one should buy cheap phones only & not branded like Sony Ericsson. It's disgusting.
i purchased the mobile of sony ericsson w810i from amritsar hot spot liberty market.After two months it started giving me the problem with camera i went to the service center several times thaey told me that we have repaired ur set but the problem was still there, then i called at the company at[protected] bt they have not given me the good response.I have very bad experience.So please give me the way out what should i do.Should i gp tp the consumer court because 7months warranty is still there.
i have k700i model which is not working properly. hanging problem . its buttons are not functioning . hanging on searching

Mobile Defective and Bad Service from the sony erricson service centre

Dear Sir/Madam:


I would like to inform you of my dissatisfaction with the Sony Ericssion P1i mobile phone and the service provided. Since I have bought this phone, it has been working well, until recently it stopped functioning normally. I returned the phone to your customer service(Bangalore, Koramangala) on 20th January. The customer service representative informed me that the phone mother-board has to be replaced and they would make the phone ready in 10 days.


1 Month later, the phone is still not working.I received my phone with the motherboard replaced on Feb 18, Within 2days i had to revisit the service center as the phone started hanging frequently. Had called and enquired about the phone on Feb 27th. The representative asked me to collect it on 2nd May and now there is something wrong with the camera.

On each occasion they have kept the phone and apparently worked on it with no luck. Their attempts to resolve the problem have not been satisfactory and they finally claim that there is nothing more they can do to help me. It appears that we have reached this unfortunate situation compelling me to put forward my complaint to you.

I purchased w910i with a lot of funfare...bt now i m having nightmare(s)...i still cant beleive the reluctance shown by the service centre personals in jaipur...what else to do then regretting being a sony ericcson customer...?????????????my cell is dead, nd all i listen from them is to keep a cool head!!!
Same here..very bad service is being provided by Kormangala service center.When we explain the issue with phone they will predict some replacement which will be a complete wrong prediction.Funniest thing is every time i get the phone repaired something else will get damaged and has to go to them again.Very disgusting service.I really dont recommend anybody to go there.Throw your sony erricson mobile if it has some problem instead of going to the service center especially which is in kormangala, bangalore(4th block kormangala)

Sony Ericsson - Mobile — Defective Mobile

I resident at Dwarka and purchased Sony Ericsson Mobile Handset W100i from Spice Retail Ltd., BI-1 Janak Puri New Delhi on 14-Nov-10. From the very first week of purchase the handset is giving some or the other problem. Every time visited to their service centre at Janak Puri they take the mobile handset with the statement firstly software, then battery and then keypad. Since that time the mobile handset is with them - for the last one and a half month. Still they are not assured and saying check around 7th Jan about the same.

I am not able to understand that apart from software, battery and keypad what else is balance in handset and still they are not changing the same with new one or nor returning money. 10 days back when I had given that handset to service centre it was looks like old set. it is having lot of scratching on the same.

I am requesting them to change the same but neither they are changing the same nor they are giving back a perfect handset. they themselves are confused that what is the problem in the same.

the handset is having no battery backup. it takes 2-3 hrs time to charge and also showing full charge but in a one call ring it got discharged. speakers are also not working.

I am feeling very helpless and toucher after purchasing the same. I lost money and also chasing them and they are not listening properly. when i shouted they only suggested me to send my complaint to consumer court.

please help me and arrange a replacement with new set or return of money.

    I had purchased sony ericsson W580i mobile phones in 9th February 2008. And i faced the problem that is vibration is not working, when I hear music ;phone getting heat and text messaging pop up not properly displayed after 33 days from of my purchased date. I contacted the customer care sony and gave my cell for repair at ACCEL FRONTLINE LTD which is sonyericsson service centre. at Trichy, Tamilnadu(A-16, 1st floor, 1st cross thillainagr, trichy tamilnadu. phone no:[protected] But the phone is not repaired till now and now they say the problem is with mother board which needs to be replaced. Since it is more than 10 days since i gave the phone for repairing, i asked for the replacement of the phone because I am facing lot of inconvenience because I m not having any other mobile.     W580i — mobile replacement

    Dear sir,

    This is sydeeswara Rao, I have purchased Sony Ericsson W580i model on 18th of dec 2007, mobile is not working properly; I have given mobile to Sony ericsson service center (Accel Frontline Limited greams road, Chennai).the problem with this mobile is automatically switched off, if some one calling to me i am getting noise sound and that person not able to hear the my voice, blue tooth is not working, camera is not working and mobile is hanging problem...most of the times my mobile is in service center, they were resolved problems but I am getting the problems again and again, I have spoken to the service center employees, they told me to write you, to replace mobile, is it possible to replace the mobile, if it is not possible I will go for consumer court ..i am waiting for your reply as soon as possible.

    Sony Ericsson W580i — Need Mobile Replacement

    i bought sony erricson mobile from univercell (3 months back). it had the display problem first, so i approach the authorized sony erricson service centre in vellore they repaired the problem, agian i had the speaker problem, next i had the camera problem they repaired every thing. now again i had the camera problem. i dont like to repair again. i need the new set, what is the proceedure for that. please help me.

    Sony Erission W580i — i want my cell to be replaced

    i had purchased Sony Erission W580i on 2nd december 2007 from your authorised delar at Lajpat nagar New Delhi, and since from the date of Purchase i had given my cel for repair for 5 times its in your record you can check it, at first they changed my batree, then charger, then connecting port and then software but still there is a problem in cell. Many times it hangs and swith off automatically and some times the key doesn't work and presently my head set is given for the replacement .
    now you only suggest me what should i do with this phone.

    Sony Ericsson — mobile replacement

    I have taken a sony ericson W100i handset on Oct, 2010 and after 2 months the handset got problem with messaging service. Then i have submitted this mobile to nearest sony ericson care on 05.02.2011 but till today they are not responding on the same. when I am calling to sony ericson care they are not responding my call.

    Sony Ericsson — mobile replacement

    Sir,
    I purchased sony ericsson Xperia x10 mini. invoice no- 900334. Tin no- [protected] V from Valuable lifestyle Shop no 1 & 2 Viraj Corner, Opp. BSNL Office caneda corner nasik 422 002.
    The phone worked fine for about 07 days only. I filed a complaint on 16/04/2011. workorder no- SE[protected].
    I was given a weeks notice for its repair. When i called, they told me to wait 20 days. I.
    I Dont want the defected piece. I want a replacement at the earliest.

      I have sony Ericsson mobile Model No.W810I.(POP Date:28.06.07) Its display not working. I went to one of the Service centre at Gurgaon, they kept my handset & gave me Service Tag with complaint ID covering it under warranty on 17.03.08. On 28.03.07 when I went to get the repaired handset, first they said that they have repaired it & working ok. When they produced me & checked it at their own they said still there is problem. Again they tried to repair it for one hour, but when they failed they said this handset is not covered under warranty and they will not repair it. They returned the handset as it is. I am realy frustrated by the behavier of their.

        Dear Sir/Mam,
        I have bought a Sony Ericsson W580i model on 2-Feb-2008 at Hyderabad.I bought a sim on 16-Feb-2008 and on the day one we started using it, I realised that It was not detecting the memory card, so I met the service center people over here.They told that piece can't be replaced but they will rectify the problem and send the piece in 10 - 15 days.Those people never called me up and after blogging them for 25 days, they told to come and collect the piece. I went to collect it but there itself I have noticed that there is a network connectivity problem and it is not detecting the sim now.The service center people still said they will get it rectified without replacing it.
        I am not at all satisfied with your service.I have not used the mobile for a single day .I am not even getting the feel of a new mobile worth 11, 000plus.I haven't recieved my mobile till now and more over the service center people are treating me as though they are doing a free service though my mobile is in warranty period.
        Is this the right way to treat a customer who purchased the goods believng in the brand name?

        As the piece has so many problems, I am not interested in collecting the same piece again and want a new piece of same model(replacement).

          But Bluetooth and short ket didn't work
          plz send me service center address or phone no in kolkata.
          I have purchase sony eriesson K530i mobile.three month back.now display problem, iam serviceing pondicherry service centre, mobile service is over delay in sony service centre, service the mobile after one week .the same problem (no display).so sony eriesson servie centre is bad in pondicherry.now mobile pondicherry service centre not solve problem.
          This is Manoharan from pondicherry .I brought Sony ericsson mobile in Dubai on Jan09.Model W880i walkman set S/N CB510KT7AT after few month Mick not working properly opponent unable to here my voice properly to avoid this problem I forced to use headphone always. recently we found your authorized service person in pondicherry and they told me this model phone not introduced in India that is why spares cant able to arrange. I don’t know what I can do. We prefer Sony because of Your Quality and service support even price is more. You people proved my selection is Sony ericcion wrong. Now a day China / Korea mobile have more facility with less price we can get spare also very easy.

          My friends all forced to buy china mobile but brought Sony ericcion brand Name pl. revamp Sony image

          You people behave like this one day faith on SONYERICCEN may lose.

            i have given handsfree to authorised sony ericcson mobile repair center at shubham towers, faridabad on 2nd of febraury. they said that handsfree are not available now, they will be available after one week and then i can collect it from there. but everytime i go there, they say come after one week. even the reliance no. that they have given on job sheet is switch off always. now after one and half months they are saying that handsfree are not available and even they didnt know when they will come to them.

            I had kept my handset k810i in sony ericsson (under warranty) service center ulubari,guwahati at 19.11.09 ,that day they told me it will be ready within 15 days but still today they told me that its gonna take time,like me,one of my friend had kept his mobile and they still didn't give him back after 1 month,they are certified by the company but the way they did things make me feel so bad, Friends using other mobile doesn't have much problem from their service.As being a loyal customer from my childhood it make me feel so confused.

              I had a Sony Erricson Handset T250i which I had purchased on 21 Oct 07 and it has a warranty of 1 year, last month in February I faced a problem with the phone so i had submitted the handset on 16th Feb 08 at Sony Erricson Service Centre.
              The Service Centre is SAP Service Centre, situated at Dadar Opp.Portugese Church.

              I have called them innumerable times but have not got my handset yet. They were not giving the status properly and kept asking to call again after some days. They sent the phone to Delhi for replacing the Mother Board. At times the person claimed ignorance and said that she was new and did not know about it even though I had spoken to her earlier. At the time of submitting the phone there was another person who had the same problem and it had been more than a month for him. I told her that they would take the same amount of time for me also. At that time they told that it was rule that they replace a handset if it takes more than a month.

              Frustrated I also called their call center ([protected]) they said that it should not take so much time and they would revert after 48 hours. They did not, so I called again and they said that they meant 48 working hours!!!. Then they called my husband’s cell number, he was busy and could not answer. I had to call Delhi for my cell on that number. They said a part was not available so it is taking time. I asked them to replace but they said they do not have a policy to replace.

              I don’t know what to do. It’s very difficult to manage without my phone. My complaint ID is SES08SAP11093 dated[protected].

                I working in Bharti Airtel Services for the post Technical Officer.My mobile have been theft in Govandi station. Iam travelling in govandi station to going ghansoli station. One person in govandi station have been theft my mobile. My mobile nos [protected] . I have call customer care that my mobile have been theft so pls barred outgoing calls. now i have got previous nos [protected] which is now iam using. now the problem is i have one suggestions. when my mobile have been theft that time iam in the train i had call to that person but he was making a call to another person.                   Sir,
                  I bought a Sony Ericsson K790i mobile on 1st January 08. I was given with a free 1GB sony memory card also. The next day i tried to load my memory card. But i encountered a problem that i was unable to load the memory card above 450 MB whereas it being a 1GB card. I went to the shop where i purchased and enquired about it.I was told to go to the sony service center. I did it accordingly.

                  My mobile was serviced and given to me nearly after 15 days. I was told that the mother board has been changed. As i received my mobile i inserted the memory card that was given while purchase of my mobile.The phone did not recognise the insertion of the card. At that moment itself i lodged a complaint on that issue.

                  Now my phone is with me but the memory card is been given for service.And still i dint get it back. It is almost 20 days.

                  I am sorry to say that despite my good expectation, since its purchase during Jan 1 '08 and till now i have been using the mobile hardly for just 30 days, rest of the time it was on service.

                  I have not enjoyed any benefit even after incurring such a huge cost.

                    I baught sonyericsson phone on 3 jan 2008. But it start hang badlly .Then concet to sony care in sec 34-A. They swap the phone but in this phone, the was same.In this way sony care swaped (4) phone set .But now in this phone the problem remain same .when.this pone hang it can,t provide incoming and outgoing and its cemara does not work.Psese tell me soluation Other wise i will go to consumer court. Plese help me .

                    Sony Ericsson — Hanging /not working

                    I have bought a Sony Ericsson K220i mobile from Ananda Cell City, Chromepet, Chennai on 3rd Jan 09. The mobile set was recommended by the shop owner and i bought it with a hope that the mobile will perform becuase of the reputation the manufacturer it carries. It is the biggest blender i have done in my life. The mobile was getting switched off automatically from 3rd day onwards and it is not working properly. When i took it to the shop owner, i was asked to contact the service centre at Mambalam. He told his inability to do anything on this problem. Unfortunately, there is no sony ericsson available near chromepet. I am very upset. The mobile is still lying with me and i am using it as PAPER WEIGHT.

                    When i checked with my friends and wellwishes, they laughed at me for buying a product like this. I humbly request the manufacturer to stop producing mobiles like this and also organise a service centre near chrompet/tambaram asap.

                    I have lost Rs.2400/- becuase of the useless products like this and would like the readers not to fall prey for products of this kind in future.

                        I HAVE PURCHASE A MUSIC SYSTEM OF SONY MODELNO.RV22.DATE ON .9/11/2004 FROM THIS DATE TO 17/11/2007 I HAD LENSE PROBLEM FOR SIX TIMES AND RECENTLY I HAVE PURCHASE NEW LENSE ON 17/11/2007 WHICH WAS FROM THERE MUMBAI OFFICE(SONY VEGA ELECTRONIC) AFTER CHANGING LENSE WITHIN ONE WEEK PROBLEM ARISE THEY SEND THERE PERSON TO REPAIR HE CHECK THE LENSE AND DONE SOMETHINGS IN THAT , AND AFTER TWO , THREE DAYS AGAIN PROBLEM THEY SEND OTHER PERSON HE ALSO CHECK AND DONE SOME SOLDING IN THAT NEW LENSE (2 TIMES) SAYS THAT IT WILL RUN NOW PROPERLY IF ANY PROBLEM WILL COME IN FUTURE WE WILL MAKE CHANGES OR TAKE THIS SYSTEM TO OUR REPARING CENTER TO CHECK WHOLE SYSTEM .

                          Sir,
                          I have purchased a Sony’s DVD Writer Model No. DRU-170C from M/s Computer Empire, 102, Meghdoot 94, Nehru Place, New Delhi 110019, vide Retail Invoice No. [protected] dated 23rd August 2007. Due to some technical faults the writer failed to write/burn the DVDs and ejected the DVD with the errors ‘Power Calibration Error and Command Sequence Error’. So, I handed over the defected unit to the Sony’s Authorised Service Center i.e. RPTECH CARE CENTRE located at 207, Mansarover Building, 90, Nehru Place, New Delhi 110019 for repair of the defected unit against I/W Ch. No. 17272 I/W Dated 29.02.2008 and RMA No. 36,886.
                          The problem arise when they replaced the defected unit with the unit of different model i.e. AD-7190A-C1 and moreover the front portion of the tray does not printed the Name of Sony and is blank. On enquiry it is told to me that the model, which you have given to us is not available and the present model which we are giving to you is provided by the company to replace with your defected unit/model. Further when I installed the unit I came to know that the unit is make of ‘Optiarc DVD RW’ having serial No. 7XA6620L111. Therefore, I am not satisfied.

                          Sony DVD Writer — duplicacy of the product

                          sir it is reported that i purchased a sony dvd writer last year dated 08/06/07. and last month i came to know that it is not able to read r/w dvds. when i contacted the service centre here in my city they said it cant be repaired here as according to them it was delhi made product and they only repair ludhiana made products of sony. Then i talked to the retailer from whom i buyed it now he isjust harrasing me .
                          i think the dvd writer he sold me is a duplicate product of sony as he gave the sony dvd writer without any packing and it was loose.

                            Dear Sir/Madam

                            I had purchased sony ericsson W580i mobile phones in november 2007. And i faced the network problem in february and when my mobile stopped recognising the SIM at all. I contacted the customer care sony and gave my cell for repair at SIL which is sonyericsson service centre. at Okhla, new delhi. But the phone is not repaired till now and now they say the problem is with mother board which needs to be replaced. Since it is more than 15 days since i gave the phone for repairing, i asked for the replacement of the phone because im facing lit of inconvenience because I m not having any other mobile. They are still not making any progress.
                            I have alll the details of the complaint and the complaint number also. So, could you please tell me how to move forward now. I want to lodge a complaint now.

                            i am using w 580i model since 5 months and now the phone was undergoing software complaint and nodisplay is occuring though the phone is made to switch on and i dont have the bills of the phone, , , , , , , , how much i have to pay in the service center for getting the repair done.
                            I m using K790i, while doing charging with charger it shows (Do not remove the USB cable until the application is exit) & battery is discharging very quikly. And when it is switched OFF & then switched ON it shows (Preparing for File Transfer)

                              Subject: Replacement of Model No. W200i Walkman Phone (Rhythm Black)
                              Ref No. : IMEI No.[protected]

                              I have purchased Sony Ericsson Mobile Model No. W200i, from Mobile Mall, an authorized dealer of Sony Ericsson situated at G-4, Rajvi Complex, Opp : Maninagar Police Station, Rambaug, Maninagar, Ahmedabad – 380008, on dated 31st January 2008. But within a week I found there was a problem in functionality of mobile on 9th February 2008, which are as under:

                              • Could not hear properly.
                              • Disconnection of phone calls
                              • Phone remains connected with the person who has dialed my number/to whom I called, but there could not be any conversation between two phones.
                              • Data cable could not be connected to use internet services/to transfer data from computer to mobile phone.

                              On 9th February 2008, I have visited your authorized service centre “Krishna Infotech, 4, First Floor, Ratna Complex, Opp : Bank of Baroda, Maninagar Cross Road, Ahmedabad, and explained above problems in the mobile phone. They have suggested me that since it is a Saturday on 9th February 2008, it is better to come on 11th February 2008, so that we will repair the mobile within two days, but they have taken Six(6) full days to repair the mobile. While receiving mobile from Krishna Infotech on 16th February 2008, I have found that they have not only changed IMEI number of mobile phone but also removed PLUS facility of mobile. This is not enough to tell you even they could not connected data cable with computer. They have also informed us that mobile is working properly, but truth is that they have done nothing, but only changed the original parts of the mobile.

                              After that I have reported same problem to your another authorized service centre “Salora International Limited”, 101, Kalash Building, Near Jain Derasar, Opp: Navrangpura Bus Stand, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad – 380009 on 18th February 2008. But this time also they have not repaired my mobile and taken another Six(6) full days, and reported same fault as earlier reported by “Krishna Infotech”. I have received my mobile phone from Salora International Limited on 23rd February 2008.

                              I would like to inform you that total tenure of mobile purchase is 24 days as on 23rd February 2008, and out of these total 12 days taken by your authorized service centre for repairing activity and 2 days mobile phone remain switched off due to could not hear properly.

                              I hope you will definately take action against this complaint.

                              Sony Ericsson walkman cellphone — Battery not replaced

                              Hi , I got a new sony ericsson cellphone on 18.07.09 from the HotSpot mobile shop . The cellphone's battery one day suddenly started giving out water droplets . I took out the battery and cleaned the water which spread all over the cellphone circuit . I took the phone to Hotspot the next day . They kept the cellphone and the battery for repair . After a week they called up and said that the cellphone's battery cannot be replaced because Sony Ericsson's technician has said that they will not replace the battery since it is water damage . My phone is under two year of warranty one by sony ericsson and one which I bought additionally from hotspot by a payment of rs 600 .The cellphone's accessories can be replaced as it is less than six months only when the phone got defective . They are not replacing it because they say it is water damage which is again the fault of the battery because the phone was not subjected to any kind of water exposure !! Please help me I am very frustrated .

                                  i hve bought a sony ericson p1i phone 3 days back but i tried my best to load its pc suite but couldnt get it. i received a message to get configurations from internet i tried but failed. even after loading the software cd provided with the phone my lap top fails to recognize my phone device whenever i connect it. i went to the shankar road service centre also but even the executive there failed to load the software. he told me to go to okhla office. i am so upset okhla is 30 kms from my place. i hve purchased a sony for the first time and having a very bad experience. this never happened with nokia.

                                    I have purchased a sony W-830i phone on 7th July'2007. This was my first sony phone, previously I was a loyal customer of Nokia. But the customer service that Nokia people gave me on having a fault with the phone made me go for another brand.

                                    My sony ericsson phone model W830i was purchased from Neeru Enterprise, Noida (Invoice No. NE/07-08/0859). Two days back my mobile phone charger went dead. So I went to the service center "Neeru Enterprises" for getting it repaired/replaced today i.e 10th Feb 2008.

                                    The lady on the counter saw the charger and said that I have to give the charger and they would be giving me a replacement within a months time. I asked her for a replacement charger so that I can charge my phone during the time they take to replace it. She denied it. I argued with her saying that how am I going to charge the phone. She said that she can do nothing about it.

                                    Talking to the Manager "Surender Kr. Sharma" was also not of any help as he said that they are out of stock for CST-75 charger and that I should either go to the head office or try any other service centers. Upon saying that he is asking the customer to go and look out for the availability of the charger elsewhere rather than providing that service himself. He suggested that I should talk to the Company Sony Ericsson directly as he himself is unable to help.

                                    Upon request with the sales guys, I was finally given a replacement charger.

                                    Few questions to the very helpul Sony Ericsson Customer Service.

                                    1. Why does replacement of a charger take a month(it should be done in matter of minutes)?How is sony ericsson expecting the customer to charge the phone while waiting for the replacement of the charger. The new charger costs around 600 Rs. Am I expected to buy a new charger to charge the phone while sony ericsson is taking its own sweet time to replace it?

                                    2. Does sony wants people to purchase only low end phones, cause these chargers are easily avilable with the service center?Whereas chargers like CST-75 are out of stock (and I heard the manager saying that there are people waiting for it for more than 2 months). spent 16K on sony ericsson.. was it a mistake?

                                    3. Why should the customer run around to the head office or to the other service center? Isn't it possible that the service center co-ordinates between themselves so that the customer is not given a run-around?

                                    4. The manager says that I should contact the company. Isn't he the one representing the company? He should be made aware that he is the face of the company.

                                    I am suffering from pain in a same situation where Neeru Enterprise have accepted my phone saying "mic needs to be replaced" but when I went them again, I got the answer "its not available and not sure about the new arrival". Before submitting my phone to them, the mic was working with some low voice but after retrieving the phone from them mic is not working at all. Now, the question is "if they know that the mic is not available in their store, then why did they asked to submit my phone?".

                                    I am in a real pain as I don't have other option except to purchase a new phone but definitely other than SONYERICSSON. I am blaming the brand but of course defaulter is Neeru Enterprises, B-1/38, Sector 18, Noida, 201301 .

                                      Within 20days of buying the phone, i had a problem with the camera and instead of replacing the phone they replaced the camera. Again within 15days i hav a major problem with the phone. The phone keeps restarting and also whenever i switch off and switch on my phone all my data on the phone is lost.

                                      The Instrument bought has value attached to it and which is hard earned. I dont have time to run everytime to the sony ericsson to get the problem rectified. The instrument has a fault and it needs to be replaced.

                                      actually i have problems in the touch screen all the three keys are not working so that i'm unable to use the mobile within 15 days i gave to the sony ericsson service centre for rectification but till now the problem is not rectified and i still didn't receive the mobile from them.
                                      i didnt get any good result from your service centre for the mobile k850i please rectify or replace the same as soon as you can plz

                                      I purchased this phone around 9 months ago and have had nothing but problems. The phone often freezes on start-up and the touch screen stopped working after about 2 months.

                                      After sending the phone back for repair I had to chase them up to send it; I eventually received it after more than 3 weeks. Unfortunately they hadn't fixed it and so I had to send it back again.

                                      This time they emailed me back saying: "During the inspection procedure the unit has been diagnosed as 'Un-Repairable under the Manufacturer's Warranty'", "We shall be posting you an estimate to cover the cost of the repair" and "we can return the unit to you, unrepaired for the sum of 10.00 +VAT"!! Unbelievable.

                                      This is the worst phone I've ever had. I will never buy a Sony Ericsson again and will do my best to put off as many people from buying them as I can due to the way I've been treated.
                                      I also am 1 of the tortured owner of Sony Ericsson K850i, and guess what, after i browsed the consumer forum i was quickly able to make it out that most of the complaints on K850i is that the phone restarts itself which also is one of the problem with my handset . This actually is a manufacturing deffect which the company was aware off, that being the reason the company had manufactured limited phones and stopped it . Our fight should be against Sony Ericsson . pls reply to me ASAP [protected]@rediffmail.com .
                                      I am facing all of the problems mentioned above. They have replaced my mother board but sill i face the problems. The Companys aim should not only be just making money. It should also make their customers satisfy against the amount they have spent to purchase the product. As of i know many of my friends who bought sonyEricsson mobiles have atleast gone thrice to service center with in 6 months of their purchase. From now i am going to tell all my friends and whereever possible to NOT to buy sonyEricsson mobile.
                                      Since the day i bought the so called "5 mp SE k850i" it gave me nothing but disappointment and a whole lot of headache!.. since it was a goo looking phone, i put some extra care to it.. but just after 4 months a button"#" popped off..(i can garuntee that it wasnt for my bad use but ofits poor design is tiny separate buttons). in less than a month later it started to restart every time i use the media player and also sometimes when the usage is high.. I sent it to the Sri lankan SE dealer... unfortunately they could only fix the "restarting thing"..they wanted me to pay 9500Rs (sri lankan), which was almost 1/4 th of the phones price just to fix the button by replacing the whole housing..i decided not to spend that much of money(which i could have spent to buy a new phone) repairing, but to use it somehow since "#" wasnt that much used in day to day life.. agin after 1 month the media button (3 way button to toggle between cam/vid/gallery) stopped working. every time i start the camera it goes to video mode...

                                      I used to be a big lover of sony ericsson before purchasing this product..but after all these incidents (there are many more minor defects that i didn't mentioned) i can tell you that i (just like jason) will also pull back all my friends from buying SE..i am badly disapointed with the service the sony ericsson company provided me in this case!
                                      Still this failure product is in the market in sri lanka, it is a shame that SE is not calling the product back..

                                        I have purchased a Sony music system from the Sony authorise shop in Shipra Mall Indirapurum GHAZIBAD on 5 Feb 2007.

                                        On same day when a person comes from Sony does not able to install the music system completely. A promise made by the worker of Sony that he will fixed the defect next day.

                                        When no one visited from Sony even after a week we gone to Sony show room to discuss the matter. They again made the promise that they will send some technician to fix the defect, even then no one visited.

                                        The same process repeats and even after 11 months of purchasing the components of sony no one visited from sony. I had made the complaint more than 10 times about this in Sony but no action has been taken.

                                        I always assume that purchasing a good from Sony means a good customer support but it seems that no body is their to listen the complaint of Customers.

                                        This is my another effort to fix the problem so that I communicate a positive experience of Sony.

                                        Dear Sir / Madam.

                                        I, Bharat K. Patel using Sony Music System Model No: MHC–VX90 AV since May-2000.
                                        After long duration the music system having problem in both cassette players and VCD player. All 3 units not playing properly due to belts and other rubber parts. So I took it to M/S. Parshwa Electronics Pvt Ltd. U-12, Western Plaza. Adajan Road, Surat - Gujarat.-395009, on 28th May-2007( Job No: SRT-15420), who is Sony Authorized Service Centre at Surat for better service music system.

                                        I told them to change all required rubber parts and to do service properly in the system. Service centre gave estimate and charged Rs.1805/- (Receipt No: 05, Date: 20/06/2007). Service centre told that they are using original parts of SONY Company and now there will not have any problem with the system.

                                        They gave warranty for 6 months. I take it my home and used regularly for 6 to 8 hours/week. After 9 months, the system started with same problem for which it was repaired. I took it to same service centre and shown. Service engineer told me that they have to replace all rubber parts of the system and do service properly and estimated Rs.1500 to 2000 for servicing & parts.

                                        Sir, let me know the following.
                                        1) My system with original parts worked for more than 8 years. (Actually my experience says that, There should not be any problem with SONY product for long life.) Why replaced parts from authorized service station not worked for even 9 months.
                                        2) Are they your authorized service centre?
                                        3) The parts replaced by them are really original?

                                        While 2nd service, behavior of service engineer was not really good. He talks rubbishy like, “if you want to repair the system so kept it here other wise you take it.”

                                        You are requested to look in to the matter.
