[Resolved]  Sony — After Sales Repair

It is really bad when you don't get service even after sales and when you are paying for it.

A really good brand but I think it is really bad on their part.

I have a Flatron 29 Inches which i asked SIGMA Marketing authourised repair center for repair on Phone but till now after repeated requested nothing has been done so far.

Attaching recent mail with Sony India it has been now 13 days since the complaint.

Note:- I think it is quality issue because the colour of the monitor and logo has been fade.
The following problem is occurs---
1. There are some noise problem when touch the hinge of lcd.
2. Window problem.
3. Battery backup is very low (only 30 mintus).
4. On / off Problem .
5. Processing is slow..
6. the system come in hang mode after every 5 minutes.

I HAVE PURCHASED SONY HOME THEATER ON 11.04.2013 FROM SONY CENTRE, PUNJAGUTTA X ROADS, HYDERABAD. WE HAVE WAITER FOR TWO DAYS FOR INSTALLATION.YESTER DAY i.e 13.04.2014 AROUND 7 PM RECEIVED A PHONE CALL THAT WE ARE COMING TO INSTALL WITHIN 30 MINUTES. JUST BEFORE THAT WE WENT TO MEET A DOCTOR, AFTER RECEIVING THE PHONE CALL WE RETURNED WITHOUT MEETING THE DOCTOR AND REACHED THE HOUSE
WITHIN 40 MINTS. THE PERSON WHO HAS COME FOR INSTALLATION IS NOT AVAILABLE AT MY RESIDENCE AND HE IS NOT RESPONDING (LIFTING) TO THE PHONE CALL. WE ALL THE WAY COME BACK FROM HOSPITAL WERE VERY MUCH DISAPPOINTED BY THE SERVICE AND THE WAY HE BEHAVED BY NOT INFORMING AND NOT LIFTING THE PHONE.

WE ARE THE CUSTOMER FOR SONY PRODUCTS FOR THE LONG PERIOD AND EXPECT GOOD SERVICE AFTER PURCHASE. THE EMPLOYEES LIKE THIS MAY GET BAD NAME TO THE ORGANISATION. TILL NOW NO ONE ATTENDED FOR INSTALLATION. PLZ SOLVE MY PROBLEM AT THE EARLIEST.

bt nw...m again facin d problm...ma tv colours r gettin aberrated...n dis time i hav no warranty period left...

i wud like to suggest "the sony ppl"...plz...try to make some amendments in ur system:

first thing...the warranty peeiod..is so little...only 1 year...if i cud get a 4 year warranty period...on a digital camera...den tv is a major product...u shud increase d warranty period..

second thing..if m buyin a product frm "SONY"...i expect some reliability...which u guys r loosin time by time...

i hav to admit...dat ur services r good...bt i cn nt say d same for ur products...

I Varsha S. Shah would request you to give me a brand new sony Model No. 32ex330, as my T.V. which I purchase from Vijay sales, opera house Branch, Mumbai just 15 days before is not working at all.
It is very diappointing that reputed company like Sony is manufacturing such TV's, My job No. is J31044337, Please send someone to collect old TV and send me new TV Immediately.

Sony — battery charging

Hi Sir,

I had submitted my Sony Vaio(XL9067, Sertal no: SRN01-S01-7031) laptop at Sony Service center, Sector 4, Vaishali, Gaziabad on 23rd Aug 2013. There were some problems with the keypad, hard-disk and CD-Drive.By the techician examining the laptop I was assured that the laptop will be delivered in ready condition within 7 days. 

It has already been 22 days and I am yet to recieve anything other than fake assurances and ever changing timelines. I have been in contact with the costumer care for many times and they repeatedly keep on asking for more days citing some or other technical difficulties.

I fail to understand why Sony, being such a reputed company is not able to provide me with at least a fixed timeline for the repairs. The last time I contacted the service center I have been assured that I will be getting the laptop on Wednesday(11 Sep 2013). 

I am writing this mail to inform you that I have been repeatedly bothered by your services and I cannot keep on contacting you and asking you for a fixed date. I have many professional engagements that I have to look after and after that it is not possible on my part to keep chasing after you.

Please deliver the laptop on sunday i.e tomorrow or at the very least give a fixed deadline before which I can expect it repaired.

purchased new mobile Sony experia p (LT22i) on dt, 18Mar2013 from Jasmin mobile shop, Alkapuri, Vadodara, Gujarat. Vide their invoice no-JAS/A/44953.

After purchased the mobile camera while opened the horizontal lines comes for few second.

For this complaint I visited so many times to authorized service center.
Last time we visited your authorized service center M/S-Parshwa Service Center. On DT, 12Sep2013. They give back on 13Sep2013. While checking the repair the problem’s was not rectified. They again received camera on same time on DT, 13Sep2013. After so many follow up they today given back my mobile without rectification of the defect.
While informing them regarding my complaint is same. They informed us that there is software problem’s and we are not solved your complain due to we are not receiving your mobile software from SONY companies.
While asking them that when you received the software they intimated us that they are not conform the dt/time for software they received from you.
In view you of above please arranged to send software for repair my mobile early as possible.
For details you ask the owner of the service center and replay us for the same.
I am harassed after purchased the world class brand but your service center is not able to give quality service due to software?????????????.
I am not getting service with in day's I force to approach the Consumer Court for the replacement of new set and penalties for mentally harassment for the same.

I purchased a new adapter ( above model ) from your Service Centre Madonna Care Center, Vyttila, Kochi on[protected]delivery date )
( job No. J20538243, dt.[protected]for my sony vaio lap top model 50107701 for Rs.3175/- .But the same got faulty on[protected] worked only for five months.) and given for repair at the same service centre since within warranty period ( six months ).However I got the adapter repaired/replaced on[protected] job no.J21708099, dt.[protected]. Anyway the new adapter got faulty again on[protected]worked only for ten months ).I contacted the above service centre again on the same day itself.They told me that they are helpless since warranty period is over.Ofcourse you will also tell the same.Please note that the adapter I got along with my laptop lasted for more than four years.Sorry to say that the new two adapters I got through your service centre lasted only for five months and ten months respectively.How an ordinary person can afford this loss?We are having a steady supply voltage system here.Why you are manufacturing this type of adapters with low quality electronic components.This is a feedback from my side and at the same time I request you to kindly make necessary arrangements to replace my faulty adapter, upholding your reputation.

Sony — Regarding lining appearance in Sony TV

long list of complaints ...i dnt know when my number came...with sony service centre my experience is really bad, i had purchased a sony camera h-70 on 3-5-11.now in d lens i saw fungus, but acc. to d service centre it was'nt cover under d warrant period...sony service centre told me to pay 6500rs for changing d lens...if warranty period is not finshed why they are charging...i request sony company to help me and plz cover the fault in the camera under warranty period...
