[Resolved]  Sony Ericsson — Service and repairs

I had got the Joy stick of my Sony-Ericsson K750i repaired from a Sony-Ericsson service center in Gurgaon, but after 2 days of that the phone display went white, and when I took the phone back to the service center the manager refused to handle the phone he said that the phone may have got damaged due to the software getting corrupted or some problem in the main board of the phone, how ever he confirmed that the Cap of the Joystick was not fixed properly. The cold response from the the Store manager made me write to the Sony-Ericsson customer service mail id, how ever I did not get any response from them.

Sony Erricson Customer Care — worst service and service centers

I have a SE w580i model which i brought on 23 december 2007 ..from late it had developed a snag in the camera.so on 16th dec 2008 i gave my phone for repairs..they told me it will be done in 2 days maximum..after 2 days i called them they said it had fault in the motherboard and they will get it in two days ..till now (22 december)i havent got my phone back and their favourite line is, "the mother board has gone for repairs in chennai..its at shortage and not showing dispatched.."after days of telling them that its important for me to have my phone back by 23 they still are "trying"..they actually dont know what is happening .. I hope they wake up after this...
I am facing the same problem too. They say new airtel sims are not working in sony ericsson mobiles... I hope Airtel does the needful and rectifies the problem.
I Bought K770i. but now panel is not good and i want to service my mobile... where can i give my mobile for service in chennai.. and where can i get the original panel. My mobile no: [protected]

while hearing music continuesly for more than 15 minutes
the music stops & the phone will restart again...

Sony Ericsson — Faulty Connector of W760i model of Sony Ericsson

I have bought a W760i Sony Ericcson make cell phone from "The Mobile Store, C/oMore megastore, , Old Padmatex Compound, Lalbaug Road, Manjalpur, Baroda-390011, on 08/10/2008. The details are as below.

After two months o[censored]sage, I was experiencing problems with charging. The representative of Your authorized Service Centre in Baroda informed me that the connector on the phone is damaged beyond repair. Further, I was informed that the same is not covered under warranty.Other consumers of the Sony make similar sliding mobile phones have also experienced the same problem in their mobile phones.



My complaints are 4 fold.
1) Delicate design of the charging connectors which have to be used on a daily basis, is provided by M/s Sony Ericsson.
2) No special instruction is provided for Charging the Cell phone.
3)The warranty stipulates that the material is devoid off any defects in design. But if consumers are facing reccurrent problems it can be considered as a design defect. But still I had to pay Rs. 350 for my repair before 10 months before warranty failure.

Since consumers are losing valuable time during these repairs, Sony Ericcsson should come out with a solution for the existing faulty design of the connectors on sliding phones and modify all those phones already in usage.

SonyEricsson W810i — mobile gone faulty within warranty period.

My name is lakshmikanth working for BSNL as Junior Telecom Officer, Belur, Hassan, Karnataka. I had purchased W810i(IMEI[protected] on[protected] in Bangalore on[protected] my W810i had gone faulty within warranty period. I had given my W810i on[protected] along with the original bill to VEZ COMMUNICATIONS authorised service centre for sony ericsson #10, G4 Richmond Plaza, Next to Nikhar Jewellers, Richmond Circle Bangalore-560025, Phone[protected], [protected](Mr. RAZZAK). Mr Razzak of service centre told me that the mother board had gone faulty and replaced it after nearly one month and i collected my W810i(IMEI[protected] on[protected] however they did not give back my original mobile bill on enqiry they told me that my original bill had been sent to New Delhi and i will not be able to get back my original bill as thousands of complaints are booked daily(SHAMEFUL) and it is not possible to trace my original mobile phone bill. On[protected] again my W810i had gone faulty after service worked only for a day and i have returned it back to the service centre on[protected]. As i am working in a very far away place from Bangalore it is very difficult for me to travel all the way from my place to Bangalore. So i am requesting you to take legal action against the people who are playing fool and wasting others time. However i am not going to buy any sonyericsson products in my life time and advice others too. Either they should service mobile phone properly or throw it in dust bin, wasting others time and money is not good on either sony ericsson or their service centre's part. kindly do the needful.

I have recently taken W910i mobile and unfortunately i have pressed "Reset All" feature and i lost all my games and video files which are given by default in Phone. Can you please tell me how can i restore the default games and video files in my mobile.

my brother had been brought new SE G700 hans set from kuwait And he presented it to me and return. Aftr few days its touch screen was working properly but now the screen is not reconnising. please help
i had bought W 350i but after 4 months of its use the flap used to open it suddenly cracked.
Now it cant be refixed and the service center is saying it does not come under warranty.
what can i do??
This is to inform you that i had purchased Sony Ericsson W910i on 24th of December from Mumbai Andheri East from Kumkum mobile shop {IMEI No : [protected]} and on 28th there was a problem with LCD screen, so i submitted my cell to the service center for repair purpose and got the assurancey that the problem will be solved withen two days.
When i went after two days i recived the same answer, so i decide to send a mail to the service department at mprc.[protected]@accelfrontlin.in but as usual no reply.
I as a custumer i am very dissatisfied with the service department.

I need an early reply or refund of my money.

sony mp3 walkman — bad behaviour of staff and owner and replacement of MP3

Dear Sir,
I have purchased a mp3 walkman model no. NWZ-B135F/BC from M/s. Value plus Retail Pvt. 7/190, Nagesh Tower, Sales tax Road, swaroop Nagar, Kanpur-208002 on 28/12/2008 in my son Rohan Sachdev name. But when we reached home and opened the product we found that the product was damaged. Next day we went to shop and showed the product they treated us very badly. the behaviour of the staff as well owner was very bad . they were saying that we have dropped the product that is why it has broken. In other words i can also say that broken piece was given to me. At Present the product is lying with them only. They even not refunded my money nor the product. The bill of the product is with us as proof. It was the prime duty of the shopkeeper to handover the product in sound condition and product should be shown in sound condition before deleivering to us. Now we request you to take the action against the shopkeeper as well as staff of the showroom and convey them to handover the product in sound condition or refund my money. I need your support to solve this issue.

Sony Ericsson Portable Speaker — Defective Portable Speaker

Dear Sir,
It is to inform you taht I have brought a Sony Erickson Portable Speaker on last July but the power plug of the speaker was defective.The Customer Care called for replacement but the Vashi Service Centre refused and harrased repeatedly.I have complained to Consumer Forum recently(ID 11078).

I have bought sony ericsson G502 last month, i have some serious problems in my phone was it is restarting itself whenever using net or while in any application and also in active voice call... I dont know wat to do.. Most of the service centres are providing poor services...
Sony ericsson must care about this problem...
I am using W700i; my mobile cover damaged & same i am not getting. present i am in Cochin; i could not getting the service provided, please advice where it is available in Cochin?
