[Resolved]  Sony Ericsson — Service and repairs

I had got the Joy stick of my Sony-Ericsson K750i repaired from a Sony-Ericsson service center in Gurgaon, but after 2 days of that the phone display went white, and when I took the phone back to the service center the manager refused to handle the phone he said that the phone may have got damaged due to the software getting corrupted or some problem in the main board of the phone, how ever he confirmed that the Cap of the Joystick was not fixed properly. The cold response from the the Store manager made me write to the Sony-Ericsson customer service mail id, how ever I did not get any response from them.

Sony Ericsson Z610 — Order Cancelled, refund not yet received

Hi,
I don't know if this site resolves any issue, or we just blabber our way cursing all wrong doers ;)

I've had my share of fraud online and this time it is with SIFY ONLINE SHOPPING.

Back in august 08 i had placed an order for a SonyEricsson z610i mobile phone. A month later i received a mail from sify saying that the order was canceled due to unavailability and the payment would be reversed back to my account (which i had used to make payments i.e. online banking). The mail also stated asking me to allow 6-10 days for the transaction to complete.
GUESS WHAT!!!
It never happened, since then till today i keep on sending mails to sify customercare and every time i get a new person asking for the same details which i had sent to other customercare personnel's. they also say that the transaction is done, check your bank. When i do check my bank, bank says 'Nothing here, check with Sify'.

Yes this company has a reputation of fraud and so, but here's my story which has left a hole in my pocket of Rs 10, 060/-, the story hasn't ended yet, as I'm still sending mails, reminding these that it's my hard earned money they are holding in their stocks.

I have a complaint against a Sony ericsson authorized mobile repairing store namely 'AAdil electronics" in srinagar j&k. I have a sony ericsson w200i phone. it had a problem that the memory card didnot perfectly fit into the memory card slot. I went to the above mentioned shop. There they told me that it is a minor problem and it will be corrected within a few hours. I went to the shop on the other day. They gave me the set but when checked the handset the memory card SLOT was removed. I request the SE company to kindly look into the matter.

I purshased the same set w380i. It is having network and call drop problems. I given service center for 5 times and this time they changed the board itself, but still facing the same problem

W350 Sony Ericsson Mobile — service centre not responding to 3rd time complaint,mobile within warranty period

Dear Sir,
This complaint is regarding Sony Ericsson Mobile Phone W350 purchased on 3rd August 2008.I have faced problem with the mobile thrice and everytime i have reported it to the service centre.

Sony Ericsson Service Centre At -Plot no 18, Block 49, nehru nagar East- Bhilai. Distt-Durg Chattishgarh

For the first two time they repaired it and then they said that if again it will become faulty then they will replace it, But when it got fault on the third time, and when i reported about the same to them.then they have kept the mobile on 5th March 2009 .

and even after 20 days they are continuosly forwarding the date and not giving us the mobile.

Also the behaviour of the Front desk at Service centre was rude to me when i tried to enquire about my mobile.They said go and complain wherever and what ever you want.

Please look into my complaint and Take necessary action

Sony Ericsson — Issue with the phone(Within warranty period) is not fixed

Hi Team,
This is regarding the above issue where in I had purchased a new phone : F305 on 28th DEC 2008 from a branded shop which has a warrenty of 1 year. Until now am not able to use the set because of various issues with the set. Have submitted the set to Sony Erricson's authorized service center who are unable to fix the set.

The issue still exsits and they want me to collect the set because they are not able to resolve it now. This is not acceptable as the set is set is still under warrently. Please find below the details about the set and the complaing details:

Sony Ericsson — Problem in Handset

Dear Sir

I have purchased a sony ercssion mobile phone handset on 08.11.2008 model no W380i IMEI No[protected], vide BillNo 16545 dt 08.11.2008 from Standard Teletronics Showroom No. 1049, Sector 22-B, Chandigarh, after purchase of near about one month the set had not responding properly. I visit the dealer shop regarding the problem, He advise me to visit our service centre sector 40, i visit the service centre they collect the handset from me and asked to stay for 4-5 days, after 4-5 daysn they returned back the set to me. After 2-3 days of receiving the handset from service centre it was not properly charged, I again visit the dealer shop and demand for replacement of the set but he committed me that once again you have to visit the service centre if this time same is not repaired i will replace the same, I once again visit the service centre, they collect the handset from me and after 10-15 min give back to me and no documents has been created for repair, after 4-5 days of receiving the set from service centre it have same problem, i visit the dealer shop again for replacement of the handset, he totally refused to replace the handset and said that you have never visited myshop previously and first got to service center at sec 40

I visit 8-10 time dealers shop and service centre but no solution has been provided to me, I call at Sony Ericsson help line no[protected] at 9:13 AM on 20.03.2009, they also told me to visit the service centre and no permanent solution has been provided to me. I asked for the mail ID and contact No of Nodal officer of the company but the company representative totally refused to provid me the same and advice me to visit the service centre.

Now I am tired by visitng the dealer shop and service centre, I request you to kindly help me to replace my above mentioned handset

THIS IS TO INFORM ABOUT THE WORST SERVICE I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE, I BOUGHT A SONY ERICSION PHONE P910I.IN 2005.SINCE THE PHONE WAS GOOD, I WAS KEEPING THAT PH, THE TOUCH SCREEN WAS BROKEN, & DUE TO WATER THE KEYPAD WAS NOT WORKING, I WANTED TO CHANGE THE WHOLE BODY & TOUCHSCREEN WITH KEYPAD, & SONY ERICSION AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTERS IN BANGALORE WERE TELLING THE PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. AND THERE WAS NO INTEREST TO FIX THE ISSUE, I EVEN SPOKE TO HIGHER LEVEL, THE ANSWERS WERE DISSATISFACTORY. TOLD ME THEY WILL GET BACK TO ME ONCE THE PARTS ARE AVAIALBLE, I BELIEVE SINCE THEN SONY ERICSION WOULD HAVE LAUNCED 4 NEW MODELS & I HAVE'NT GOT A CALL BACK FROM THEM, I TOOK A CALL & CALLED THE 800 NO, TO LAUNCH A COMPLAINT, THEIR REPLY WAS THAT "WE WILL ARRANGE FOR THAT PARTS, BUT WILL U BE ABLE TO AFFORD IT" THAT WAS THE LITERAL SENTENCE THAT REP SAID THAT WENT IN MY VEINS, IF I CAN AFFORD THAT PHONE WHY CANT I AFFORD THE PARTS. THEY TOLD THE PARTS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN A WEEK, I CHECKED WITH THE SERVICE CENTER & STILL THEY WERE SINGING THE SAME SONG. ONE BUYS A 24 K PHONE, & LATER HE HEARS THAT BATTERY OR ANY PART IS NOT AVAILABLE IN MARKET, HOW PROUD HE WILL FELL TO TAKE THE DECISION TO BUY THAT PHONE, PLEASE HELP!!!

Sony Ericsson Cell Phone W 302 — replacement of cell phone twise but same problem both the time

i had purchased w 302 and started using it. i found that after disconnecting the call when i tried to sellect another nunber from contact list, it took at least 30 seconds or more to open the list( PLEASE WAIT). list was not able to open quickly ... then i went to service center, they told me that 'ok' this is a problem and we will send this set for replacement. it will take 14 days.. well after 14 days i got my cell phone and what i detected was that their is same problem in it and with that while attending my call the phone gets off...what was that! i was surprised to see that ... i got angry ...they again send it for replacement, this was the second time. again after 14 days when i got my w 302 again i found the same PLEASE WAIT problem ... what is it, ia mean this is a fraud done by sony ericsson with me twice...
I had purchased a W220i walkman phone in the middle of Feb 2009 . The set working fine since then but on 28/03/09 suddenly the set took a shut down and is not woking at all.How can a reputed company like sony ericson manufacture such low quality products that even fail to serve even one year.
I have been using Nokia & Samsung mobiles for last six years and changed a number of sets and all worked fine. This is the first time I purchased a Sony ericson set a now in trouble.

Sony Ericsson — new definition of warranty to avoid warranty

I purchased a sony erricson k750i mobile in december 2008, it was working properly till 2 days ago. But suddenly the display pf the mobile had gone. I approached the service centre and was schoked to hear that they will not accept my mobile under warranty since the shop person sold it very latey. And they said that the warranty of their mobiles will be only to some time after getting manufactured and the date of purchase doesn't matter. This was the most stupid reason i ever heard from any of the customer support systems. And the people were answering were recklessly and in a very negligent manner.

Till today i know that the waranty starts from the day of our purchase but these sony erricson service centre people had changed their definition for warranty period. And the people were so reckless in answering any further questions and i had to submit it under nonwarranty to check the amount of damage...now i'm planning to file a complaint at consumer court regarding the issue... This was the worst reason i ever heared from any service centre...

Sony Ericsson/ Mobile Phone — Mobile not working with 24 Hrs from purchase

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

I have bought a Sony Erricson mobile phone Model no - C510 worth Rs. 11276/- from TMOBILE Store.
I collected it at 9.30 PM on 02 April 2009 and in the next morning i.e 03 April 2009, when I wanted to make a call, it went flat. No functioning.

Please let me know what I can do in this regard. As it is 0 hrs usage mobile, it is rediculous to pay such huge money to get a product of no quality.

I AM A FAN OF SONY ERICSSON PHONES. I BOUGHT A SONY ERICSSON P990 I PHONE WHICH IS CALLED A HIGH END PHONE. THE COLOUR IS LIKE SILVER OR CHROME. IN NO TIME AT ALL THE COLOUR ON THE FLIP PART HAS CHANGED TO A DIRTY BLACK COLOUR.
FOR THE PRICE I PAID THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. IT HAS MADE THE PHONE LOOK VERY OLD.I LOVE YOUR PRODUCT BUT THIS HAS TURNED ME OFF.
IT HAS MADE THE LOOK OF MY PHONE LOOK LIKE A CHEAP PHONE. I M VERY UPSET BY THE LOOK OF MY PHONE.
