[Resolved]  Sony Ericsson — Service and repairs

I had got the Joy stick of my Sony-Ericsson K750i repaired from a Sony-Ericsson service center in Gurgaon, but after 2 days of that the phone display went white, and when I took the phone back to the service center the manager refused to handle the phone he said that the phone may have got damaged due to the software getting corrupted or some problem in the main board of the phone, how ever he confirmed that the Cap of the Joystick was not fixed properly. The cold response from the the Store manager made me write to the Sony-Ericsson customer service mail id, how ever I did not get any response from them.

SONY ERICSSON HANDSET K810i

I purchased the above handset from Mobile King, Penta Menaka, Marine Drive, Kochi-682031 on 01.03.2008.

The set became completely out of service on 29.04.2008 and I was directed by the dealer to contact the service centre. Accordingly I gave my handset to Messrs. Accel Frontline Limited, Opp. Veekshanam Press.

The set was delivered back to me on 23.05.2008 saying that the board has been replaced and asked me to check up. Since I did not have my sim card with me, I tried to check the handset in the evening at home. The set is having the problem of becoming off and on, which was the original complaint.

When I contacted the supplier, he informed that he cannot exchange with another set. In the meanwhile, I will be contacting your service centre once again. In case I fail to get a brand new set as free replacement, I will be forced to take suitable remedial actions. This is for your advance information.

Hello madam/sir,
I brought a SONY ERICSSON HANDSET K750i dec. 2007, after some time, handset battery back up is down because their key pad lights glowing all time even the phone is turn off.
Then i give my phone to care center at bhiwani, care center personel Mr. kuldeep returend my phone after 15 days, i received my phone to think that it is ok now. but when i checked my phone at home after pushing battery inside, the same problem is occured, after few days i again deposited my phone at care center[protected], This time, He(KULDEEP) told me that your phone is send to Delhi for repair and returend after 7 days, i agree with this .
But after 7 days, He told me, please wait for 1 week more b'cos spareparts are not available.and after 10 days he returend my phone with outer body changed(with full scrached body), then i refused to accept my phone with this condition.
then he told that the the body is same and refused to change, But in actual the body is changed, and not mached with my battery cover.
I am still waiting for my phone,
So please help me, What can i do in this situation?

suddenly my mobile became dead. so i have given to a service center in vijeex system, vellore, tamilnadu, india.
It was given on 3/6/08 still they are not responding us.

Please take an action on that

i bought this cell on feb 2008. within one month or so i started facing problems like certain buttons lik space button not working cracks in few buttons.
worst thing of all is tat iam unable to attend calls at times as the answer key stops working.I went to the trivandrum service center they repaired the space buton but stil the problem persists. They said to use the cell without the memory card and see if the mobile gets stuck or that answer key problem key still cuming up. i hav been using the cell for a week now without card and stil problem continues.
now worst thing is tat the entire cell gets off suddenly.
iam fedup of goin to service center as iam working i hardly get time to go to service center.i kindly request you to kindly replace my set asap.

i bought a sony ericsson w580i phone from "The mobile store" in palarivattom, cochin, kerala on05/11/2007 with imei no [protected] and last saturday ie on 7th of june 2008 after noon i saw that the display screen was showing some fluctuations and it was increasing which later on covered the full display, i went to the store where i purchased it and thier advice was to take it to the sony authorised service centre coz it was just a software problem and could be rectified.later on monday when i took it to the service people they told that the display screen liquid was leaked and it was corroded which can be rectified by repalcing the screen panel and it doesnt comes under warranty and a amount of Rs 2000/- likely has to be paid, and the service centre guys doesnt have an idea of what are the chances of this corrossion(as per them the handset has to be fallen down or water should enter the dispaly)which both of the things has not happened.i request SONY ERICSSON authorities to kindly look in to the matter and provide me a solution as early as possible or any legal action should be taken.

I couldnt able to send an sms since couple of days.. "message sending failed" has been displaying every time i send the sms.. i phoned to customer care executive but their promise of rectifying with in 24hours has not been kept. kindly do the needful.

I would like to bring to your immediate attention that this is one of the worst service experience I have had as customer by known company like sony, it really a very sorry picture that even calling 15-20 times your service center digital rainbow and even your North head office Mathura road my problem has not been resolved of some kind of manufacturing defect in My TV,



Please see if my problem is not immediately resolved I would be forced to take media & legal course of action, I as customer who has been using sony products for long had worst experience ever with first time service request at Sony.

More than 14 month over i have purchased sony erission model w830i.Suddenly i have face problem automatically its getting on and off .I took to sony erisson certified services centre .Address is ascentel .1023 Dr Rajkumar Road Near Planet Honda showroom .4Th Block Rajijnagar Ph no [protected].They told me software problem so i gave them for servicing .They took almost 1 month, Once in a week i used to check with them they used to tell me its gone at headoffice for servicing.One day suddenly they gave my mobile saying that it cannot be repaire.And i found the mobile condition with battery changes, camera flash light remove, even slider at keypad and display side changes.It was really my bad experience with sony erission service centre people.So please do needfull as soon as posssible .Otherwise i am going to flash these situation in news paper and news channel and even to Police IGP OF BANGALORE whom i know through one of my staff .Please do the needfull as early as possible.
In my life very bad experience with sony Erission certified services centre .We can believe what what component of mobile they are changing. I in my life never Buy sony erission set and also spread these messages to all my frnd not buy the sony Erission Set They all are cheater.

Sony Ericsson — No details of my handset given for repair

I handed over my cell phone for Joy Stick and System Connector related problem, which is in warranty period to the Sony Ericsson Service Center Cariano Telecom(4/1 Roop Nagar, Delhi 110007) on 19 the June 2008 for which the Complaint ID :SES08CT113439 .I also spoke in their customer support centre (no :[protected], the reference ID of which is SE431-7617 .They asked me to wait for one day but it has still not been handed back to me .And I have no clue of where my Handset is and in what condition will I be given it back.

i purchased W830i last year and within 8months it started showing problem with its Bluetooth &
camera. It gets hang while playing videos. i submitted phone to service center M/s RT Outsourcing ltd Faridabad 2months back and till now i haven't get it back. very poor response from their side.They have sent the phone to the company and as per them it is under processing. I can't understand does it take so much time to repair a phone. SONY is a giant name and i didn't expect this type of service from them. If they will continue behaving like this to customer complaint soon they will be out of market as in the present scenario customer wants the quick response to their complaints.
One thing is sure that i will never ever suggest anyone to buy SONY Ericsson mobile phones.
