[Resolved]  Sony Ericsson — cell phone

Dear Sir,
This is in regard to the pathetice service by one of Sony ericsson service center ACCEL FRONT LINE LIMITED, Valluvar kottam high Road, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. And the problems I am facing since one and half month with them.

To begin with the series of the incidents I have bought Sony Ericcson Mobile series no W580i on 26/12/07.In the month of April, there was some problem with the camera as whenever it is on the phone was hunging. I have approached one of Sony Ericsson service center (ACCEL FRONT LINE LIMITED located in Chennai) on 07/04/08 to get the problem rectified, I handed over the mobile to them and they have asked me to call after 02 working days. When I have called after two days, i was told that they have dismantled the mobile and discovered that the problem is with mother board. Please explain me one thing If the problem was with motherboard how would the other applications work and only camera does not work. However, the staff in servicing center informed me that they have to order the spare part and after 4 or 5 working days they would get the mobile repaired. When I have seen the mobile I have asked them for a replacement as the nmobile has warranty. The Manager Mr D. L. Siva kumar asked me to call the call center[protected] for the replacement as they would only action on their instructions.
On 18/04/08 I spoke to Mr. Nishant form the call center and he taken the complaint and and he given me the Case no 6412. He told me that they will discuss with servicing center people about the complaint and call back within 72 working hrs. After that no one called me so my self I called again to call center after 72 working hrs. And I talk to Mr. Rajiv He informed me that the spare part has to come we are waiting for that and it will take another 5 or 6 days. Again I called after 5days and I talk to Mr. Amith I explained everything to him he told me sorry for the problem
Sir give me 48 working hrs. We will solve your problem. Again the same thing no one called me so my self I called to call center this time I spoken again to Mr. Nishant and he told sorry I cant remember you I given my case no 6412 than he told sorry sir still we are waiting for the spare part. I got angry and I shouted I got the mobile 3 months back no physical damage is there but the camera is hanging and servicing center people told the mother board has to change and for that you are taking more than 20 days and you are telling still it will take some days to get the part, with out my mistake mobile got big problem so I need a replacement and he told sorry sir whatever problem it is we will solve it we cant give replacement any way with in 4 or 5 days we will solve your problem. An is already sent to the service center and If I am still not satisfied I would be given replacement.
on 05/05/08 I called to servicing center and those people told your mobile got ready you can get it and I went to servicing center they kept me waited for one hour and Mr. D. L. Siva Kumar manager of the servicing center told sorry sir your mobile problem didn’t got solved the part what we got from head office is not rectifying the problem again the was camera hanging. So we will get back to you with in two days I ask them you taken one month and now you are telling the same problem. I don’t want that mobile I want a new one. Sorry we cant give new one what ever time it may take we can give you repaired one. I placed a new complaint on your mobile the call id was SFI-SE-519048 and I placed a request for the sony for the spare part and the request
id was SES[protected]M we cant do any thing up to getting the spare part if you have any problem you just call to call center and ask them new mobile if you force them they will give you new mobile. Immediately I called to call center and those people told sir your mabile got ready and your case got closed no 28/04/08, you can get your mobile sir. Than I shouted on that executive that now I went to service center those people telling its not rectified you are telling tis already ready than he told same answer is it sir than I will note the complaint and will doscuss with servicing center people and call you back with in 72 working hours. After 4 days also I didn’t get any call my self I called on 12/05/08 to call center I talked to Miss Nishitha and I explained the whole thing to her sorry sir we didn’t discuss with servicing centre people we will talk to them and with in 48 working hrs.we will call back to you. After finishing the call I called to cervive centre and talk to Mr. D. L. Siva Kumar, he told today morning only we got a mail about your case from head office I send them that it cant solved so costumer asking new mobile so with in two days you will get replacement.
Call center people are telling still we have to talk with service centre people and the service centre Manager telling that I already sent request for the replacement at the same time how many years it will take to reach a e-mail from Chennai to head office. After two days 15/05/08 I called to Mr. D. L. Siva Kumar he told from head office they dispatched the replacement and you will get new mobile on Saturday means on 17/05/08. and today also they are teling same thing to wait for some time

Vexed up with every thing I would take this matter to Media and file a case against the concerned then the reply was to do as per my wish.Being in serive industry how can the staff be so irresponsible and illmannered. There is no one to respond the call nor to take initiative and resolve the issue.
In this regard I want to make it clear if the same is not resolved in 02days, I have to take up this issue to media( I am a News Editor in Sun TV Net work ), and file a case against the concerned parties in consumer foru.

Dear Sony Ericsson,
I have been a victim of the same fraud of winning 500, 000pounds related to my mobile number [protected]. People are entitled to doing their share of fraudulent activitybut companies like Sony Ericsson are being used as the credibility point, comes as a big surprise to me. Surely Sony Ericsson would'nt like its brand image being associated with fraud. And as a person belonging to a third world country the high of being made rich by Sony Ericsson certainly made me hold the brand image in high esteem only to see it crumble to a fraud esteem. Iam hoping Sony Ericsson compensates victims like me monetarily in the same order of the promise of the fraud, that the brand image may be restored to its former glory.

Dea sir; i got new phone in sony k810i cyber shot model after two days it got camera jung problem they took 1 full month to correct it again i got the mobile back after serice then i used it for 6 days again mobile became dead condition even mobile didn't poweron then i give to service they gave me after 17days agin i used for two days after that camera din't work properly this fate actually i am medical student in service centre they are not responding us properly when i call they are not attending the call. i have got my mobile before 3month but i didn't use it for a month often it was in servicecentre i think u will take action against the problem and give me a solution as soon as possible

Hi,
I had purchased K790 i. It suddenly stopped working. I have given it in the sony ericsson center at Shivaji nagar Pune.
The follow up and response service has been pathetic. I was told that that i will get my phone replaced in 4 days and then 2 days and so on . I have not yet received any follow up.
I have visited the center 5 times and still they say after 4 days.There is no senior level available at the desk. I don't know when i will be getting my cell. No one picks up the call as well so have to visit physically.
I don't know who is going to pay for the petrol expenses as well.
Hope fully there will be a positive response to this complaint and lets see what happens or i need to paste this same complaint with the help of media.

I was a great fan of sony but after experiencing Sony Ericsson cell phone i am really pissed of with the workings of my phone.Sony Ericsson K850i have always troubled since the day i bought it then it went dead and stoped working, i gave it for service now the staff of Sony Ericsson service centers are cheap and dont know how to talk to the customers and they dont have any idea to deal with them aswell.
i always suggested everyone for the Sony phones but now as i experienced Sony i will tell them to buy any phone but no SONY.
there are 5 people having Sony Ericsson phone in my family and i am really going to ask my family members to stop using this bad and third class product from the world's company for technical items.

I gave my mobile on dated 2nd may, 2009 (model No.Z 550i) sonyericsson service centre at shivajinagar pune for changing lower flip that was damaged.
I went ur service centre(Four times), that guys told me ur phone has sent to channai.Yeasterday also i went their, they told me same think.Can you tell me that much time it will take for repairing.If it will take you sent me my mobile back as it is because i am in argent need of phone and i dont have another mobile.

They say there are "thriving" to improve their services but how are they improving their service??All the agents i've spoken sony ericsson are not train properly, they don't even know what they're talking about and are extremely rude. I had to repeat my issue more than once. Sure the Sony Ericsson makes the most attractive phone which break down within the 1st six to 12months. I have had several other phone from motrolla and other companys but they services are so much better than the one you recieve frm this company.I had my phone repair for screen freeze and the key pad broke...i was under warranty. they "said they fixed it" but it wasn't i called them they told me to update the software for my phone ...did other troubleshooting stuff. Finally i gave up...now my phone is even worse than before. if someone were to call me or text . i go to my inbox for messages and it will say [ inbox (3) ] but it won't let me view it ! if some one called me i won't be able to see who call me last or anything..it automatically deletes it.the SONY ERICSON REPS tell me it a hardware failure ... they can't help me because i'm out of warranty.told them if you guys fixed my issue the 1st time around i wouldn't be having this issue.They said there sorry. but it;s too late..I mean should they be will to help the cx out...i mean...i've had this phone for 1yr and 2month and i been calling them about this issue ...but no ones assisted me. If sony ericson doesn't stand behind they products.they don't care bout the consumers. I have many friends who had issues with this company and they lack of customer service they provide for the consumers.

If you want my opinon, i would say take it to the media let the "future consumer" know or more like warn them against buy any sony ericson products.i mean the most it may last is an year before it will break down and it will cost them more to replace the phone or get it repair. I repeat SONY ERICSON does not stand behind they product 100% ; they would of help the consumers the 1st time around.

i would like send a complaint about my sony ericsson w705 which i bought 3 weeks ago..

its not working right now because of some error, i brought it to a service center and told me that the problem is in the software and i have to leave it for 4 days.. it is very inconvenient for me because the nearest service center from my place would took for about 2 hrs. of driving.

i am very dissapointed about it because its a brand new phone, i am not expecting these things to happen. its a nineteen thousand worth of cellphone and its giving me this problem. i saved my money just to buy a decent phone and i choose sony ericsson because i believe in them and there products but why is it this things are happening..

my mobile phone G 700 wasgiven to the same service center for faulty touch screen fault and the service center changed the touch screen twice and they repaired the phone for faultyphone twice for software proble,
when approached the company to replace the handset for defective problem of the handset inspite of going to the service center 5 times the Sony ericsson company doesnt bother the change the fautly device .
Aforesaid mobile was purchased and given to me By Mr.Mahesh Verma, on 4th May 209 from Manisha Enterprises, 34 Old Cannaught Place, Dehradun-Uttarakhand under billNo. 288 dated 4.5.2009 with warranty Certificate for one year being IMEI No. [protected].

This mobile was giving slow speed operation problem since beginning and recently its keys also stpooed functioning. I gave the phone to companies authorized service centre at

I was informed that the phone had water logging problem and it is not covered warranty and I was charged R.1000/- without any bill of repair and service report detailing the problem.

I am working with a multinational company and phone is used under normal condition. I am also owning another Sony Ericsson phone which I have been using from last 2.5 years and never had any such problem. Now again the phone has started giving trouble and not getting ON. It clearly shows the manufacturing defect in the particular piece.

Now at the above centre, no body is picking the phone and upon sending a person to get the bill and service report it was refused by them. Keeping above in view, I request to get my phone replaced with a new one as it is having manufacturing defect.

My name is Arun I had a problem with my phone from the day when I bought it for the first time I have given my Sony Erricsson cell phone (IMEI NO. [protected]) (model G502) for servicing to an authorized Sony Ericsson service center (in ascentel, B.O. No. 1038, Dr Rajkumar road, 4th Block, Rajajinagar, Bangalore – 10 Ph:[protected] they said it’s a software update problem, after the repair the next day itself it was not working so I went & gave the set for repair second time, even that time also they have said it’s a software update problem & they took 9 days to repair that, I received the set on 13/6/09 back but end of the same day it was not working. again for the third time I given to repair Since the set was within warranty they said it's having mother board problem & it has to be changed, for that they took 11 days, finally I received set on 24/7/09 but by the evening again it was not working so again I went and given for repair, so I have asked them to replace my set, but they said I need to raise an complaint & after that only they can tell me the status. For this they have given online work order no. – SE309AT210349

I want to raise complaint with customer court

So Pls help me to replace this set or at least give me back my money.

I have been using my sony mobile for the past 1n half year.on 12th aug DELHI POLICE called me up n said that the cell phone is stolen 1.after meeting them in delhi i handed them the cell phn to avoid further happenings..problm is, the IMEI no ws diff in phn and on the bill.IMEI no of my phn and the stolen phn was same.that IMEI no. on my phn changed whn my phn was on servicing at the Sony service center.so police traced my no.i hv got no record of service.i am really confused, whr to go n to whom should i complain? my handset is gone...

i have bought a mobile in wawetel on 05-05-09 .In this three months i have got many problems in my mobile . by last month also i have spend ruppes 500 for keypad fault in your service center in cheangalpattu . but on this date it gone to the fault position . when i take my mobile to the service always they say that liquid has made like this fault and no garuntee and warenty . please take serious action about this problem or else i will file a case on your instution about this matter .
I bought a new F306 cell phone on 02-04-09 that is second April 2009, Since then I am facing mobile hanging problem, I went many times to the store from which I bought the cell phone. The shop name is CELL WORLD, its in hyderabad. They asked me to go to sony ericsson service center. 3days ago I went there and gave them my cell phone, they said they will upload a new software or format it. They did that but still I face the same problem, then today I went to then and complaint the same thing. Again they have kept my cell phone and memory card saying they will thoroughly check where there problem is, I asked them to replace the mobile but they said they cant do. I will never buy a sony ericsson product, pathetic service.

Hardly six months old sony ericsson mobile f305 got hanging problem. They repaired it twice still the problem persist, they r not even replacing it with a new box. Shall I file a complaint in consumer court, please advise!

Sony Ericsson W610i — LCD Not replaced, still in Warranty

I have bought a Sony Ericsson Mobile W610i on 18th Mar,09. My phone LCD got some technical problem. I am keep on visiting Sony Service centre for the last 1 & Half months, but still there is no response from their side. Kindly do the needful ASAP.
