Sir,
I have lost my mobile and i have filed a complaint/FIR regarding it in the police station. I want to block the mobile so that no one else can misuse it and blocking the mobile can also help me to trace the thief out if company co-operates to do so..but the service person did not help me in any way...so i am strongly disappointed.
His response was "We do not provide this service now, previously it was present. on asking other companies do provide he replied yes but we don't...!!"
I know that this can be done by using International mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) no. but the company is not providing this service...

sir this is amit ahuja from palwal i have a sony erricson k750i phone and my ear phone lead was damaged on 17-Aug-2008 and i submit my lead 18-Aug-2008 sir they donot give me new lead they only tell company cannot give us. i can go three times to service center service center name Fortune Mobile service nehru ground, faridabad. sir i am doing job in rudurpur(near uttaranchal) i am comming with in 3 month in my home sir my brother has gone three times on service center but they did not give him and says company cannot give them. i am too helpless now by job card id n8fbd or i am doing complaint to this ur complaint no [protected] but there is no response at all please do something as soon as possible

This is my request to all Indian, pls don't purchase any sony erricson products e.i mobiles laptops.tv etc...

I have purchased the Sony Ericson s302 mobile on 28/02/2009, its battery backup is reducing for with out usage also the battery is consuming the power and sound system is not working properly I am very much un satisfy with that product.give me one suggestion to me for repair or exchange. Also facing problem Cell phone automatic hanged. When I outgoing call than voice is not clearer to receivers.

I am user of Sony Ericsson cell phone and facing so much difficulty in services. After a month or so I was facing and hanging problem during the dialing and receiving the phone calls. I have given handset to your service partner Salora International to rectify the problem. They confirmed that there is a mother board problem in set and they will replace in 3-4 days. After 15 days constant follow ups they handed over me the phone and confirm about mother board replacement. Again I am facing the same problem I went to your service centre they straight away refused that they are not having any part right now and they can't help me with this.

I am a sales and marketing professional and used to travel a lot. If this is the service and product I got after investing the Rs. 16, 000/- with the expectation of good handset with good feature.

My friend specially suggested me for to buy W760 is the best cell phone available in the market. I would like to mention that I have invested money to get better product and services not to roaming around your dealers and spending so much energy and time to visit his place.

I am writing this with the expectation of an positive reply from your end to sort it out this issue permanently.

I had been to your Service center named Salora situated at Patna for thrice in the warranty period, More over twice in last two months for the problem of Malfunctioning of the buttons of the handset .Now again the same problem existed in the handset. As I had been in your service center 20-25 days ago and again there is same problem and more over the set is not in warranty period WHAT SOULD I DO? Is there any solution to my problem

I visited the sony service centre at Patna with my brother it was my second visit, when I met the receptionist(date25 aug 12pm) she reacted in such a way that i totally felt ashamed to stand infront of her.
I woudl not like to comment on ur technical assistant, but I request u to pls train ur front office staff to handle their customers.

i have given my mobile(sony ericsson W350) two weeks back in univercel show room(saibaba colony branch)for service. they said we have given it in sony service centre, had heating problem. they said have to replace mother board but till now i have not got my mobile. No information about when will i get the mobile, very bad service. You have a very bad response. I really dont understand how long will you people take to service a mobile. Really bad service. Ask your people to give my mobile in two days else please return the money. How long can we be without mobile and this is not the first time it always happens with univercell. Worst service. Please take some neccesary action.

Sony Ericsson Mobile — Bad product and service

Hello,
I purchased SE Naite J105i phone and from the first week I am facing problem with voice clarity.
It just keep noising when I call somebody or receives call. It didnt happen if I use headphones.
I gave phone for repairing in service center at -
RT Outsourcing services Ltd-Nasik
Viraj Corner,2nd floor,Shop 9,Sharanpur Road, Canada Corner,Nashik.

They took 15days to repair the phone and today I got the phone but the problem is not resolved.
Even I cannot use the phone.I purchased the phone on[protected] so it is in warranty.
I am very disappointed with the phone and service.
I need piece to be replaced or my money back.

I totally agree with this, Sony products are worst I had purchased J20i and it failed in 1 month only and when i submitted to the service center they took almost more then 1 month 5 days to repair it and the best part it when i got it back the same evening the phone got switch off forever :). This is the servicing given by Sony. Trust me never buy Sony product specially the cell phones.

Sony Ericsson — Battery and voice is not good

I have purchased a sony ericsson J105i mobile handset on 05.01.2011, but the battery back up is not more than five hours, while used not more than two calls of 30 second in a hour. Further the voice clarity is also not good. How can I ractify the same.

    My ref no.with sony ericson is SE7145534
    My ref no with Accel Frontline is MUA-SE-645769-CP

    This is in regard with my handset W580i which i bought on[protected].

    My complain was when i was doing file transfer to my PC the handset got hang & switched of
    after that the H/S never switched on, secondly the volume is verylow(from the begning itself)
    since it is a walkman series phone. I submitted my H/s on 07/08/08 to your so called
    authorized service center Accel Frontline, They told me that i will get my H/s by 16 aug, but
    i never got it till today.After personnely going two times to Accel Frontline after 16 aug
    they have the ans that the parts are not availble and we cannot commit any time to give you
    the H/s.Finaly i called up your helpline no 39011111 and registed a complain with them on
    19/08/08 and the no is SE7145534.now i am in regular touch with them and u can go thourg
    the coversation i have done with your call center executive.Since u have given accel
    frontline the status of authories service center they have only one no ie: [protected] which
    nobody can get through and unable to get the no we are forced to contact your helpline no ie
    : 39011111.On friday 22/08/08 contacted the they told me that the H/s is ready and u can go
    and collect it, I went their and the ans was same not ready, after that again i called your
    helpline he said sorry for the wrong information given by us and i told him that add a
    request ot my ref that if i m not able to get the H/s by monday please provide me a standby
    H/s and that was not done by your exeutive.On monday 25/08/08 i again gave a call to the
    helpline no they told me that the H/s is ready and u can go nad collect it, i told him that u
    are sure this time and he replyed yes sir.I went to the service center they gave me the ans
    that the H/s is not ready and it will take some more days.Again i called the helpline no
    they asked me sorry and i told them i dont want your sorry i want my H/s or a standby H/s or
    want to talk to your mannager and that fellow refused me for every thing.Now tell me is this
    the service sony ericson want to give to the customer i am sorry that in this way you will
    loose the exsisting customer also.Remember one thing one satisfied customer will give you
    two more client.Now you tell me that why should i take sony ericson phone, togo through this
    pain.(u reply your answer to me).Since i a into marketing business and i am without my cell
    phone and i belive that you are aware of a cell phone importance in marketing business you
    will look in the matter seriously and provide me my H/s within two days, or i have to go to
    the consumer court for legal action.

    I would apriciate u i[censored] listen the record of my conversation with your inefficeint customer
    care executive and take action against them .

    I BOUGHT A SONYERICSON W580I, I HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE PHONE. THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE SOFT WARE OF THE PHONE IS CURUPTED. WHEN I GAVE IT 2 FIX IT IN A REPAIRING CENTRE.THEY COULD NOT REPAIR IT INSTEAD THEY LOST THE IMIE NUMBER WHICH IS STICK IN THE BACK OF THE PHONE UNDER THE BATTERY. I HAD GIVEN IT TO D SONY CARE HOUSE, THERE THEY SAID THE SOFTWARE COULD NOT B INSTALLED WITHOUT THE IMEI NUMBER. AGAIN THERE IS A PROBLEM THAT I HAD LOST THE RECEIPT AND THE CASE OF THE PHONE SOME WHERE. IS THERE ANY WAY TO REINSTALL THE SOFTWARE OF THE PHONE.
    I HAD BUYED THE PHONE BY STORING MY MONEY WHICH I HARDLY GET FROM MY WORK, SO I DONT WANT TO LOST IT. PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM. I WILL REMAIN GRATEFULL TO YOUR ACT OF KINDNESS...

      This is my third email with regard to the same issue stated below and i still haven't got a clear solution to what has happened with the camera. I hope somebody is reading these emails, on the other way round too i am not getting connected to any of these telephone numbers from this morning Ph: 64569934/35/41155171. The phones are ringing but nobody to answer the same.

      Its been an awe full day fro me till now from morning 8.30 am . I feel all my calls and emails are falling unattended to a giant company like yours. This definitely needs to be looked into.

      I am really unhappy about your damaged service department here in Bangalore. I received a message on my phone at 8.31 am today and have been following it up to reach your service department just to know why the estimate has now shot up to Rs. 5397.50 whereby i was told it would cost me Rs. 500 for a lens displacement correction. I tried contacting the service centre to speak to a person by name Yogesh who is only wanting me to believe what he says without any patience to listen to what i had to say which infact got me furious. He then gives me another number for Anand who would explain the technical details where i was not able to get through. Then i got in touch with the customer care of sony at [protected]. Here i get routed to 3 different departments to finally get in touch with Prakash who again tells me somebody would give me a call back to explain the cost involved.

      I really do not understand why the delay when my Log information details are in the system. Why should i reach or speak to 10 different people to know the detailed cost involved for the repair of the Camera. This is the first time i am interacting with Sony and never expected your service to be so damn pathetic. I am deeply annoyed for the time spent and i hope if not a call, at least an email with clear description of the repair would be sent to me.Its 12 pm and i am still waiting to receive a call from any of your departments.

        Hi,

        I purchased a new sony ericsson cell phone (Model No. W830i ) on 6-07-08 from Paul Communication, Karol Bagh. New Delhi - 110005. IMEI Number is [protected].

        Afet only 5-10 days the below problem got started.
        Whenever I dial any number I can only talk for few seconds and after that it becomes blank and i cant hear the voice of person from the other side while talkng whereas the person from other side can easily hear my voice.

        I got it repaired from Sony Ericsson main Center at Okhla Industrial Area, Ph II New Delhi on 09-08-08. The Complaint ID was : SES08BR223598. And i have the copy of receipt which says a damaged part has been changed but the problem is still the same.

        Now i want my cell to be replaced with a new one as this is not at all working.

        Would appreciate your response ASAP.

        W830i mobile phone — Poor response to complaints

        i purchased W830i last year and within 8months it started showing problem with its Bluetooth &
        camera. It gets hang while playing videos. i submitted phone to service center M/s RT Outsourcing ltd Faridabad 2months back and till now i haven't get it back, very poor response from their side.They have sent the phone to the company and as per them it is under processing. I can't understand does it take so much time to repair a phone. i have lodged my compliant in customer care too, they have said to wait 48hrs. If nothing gets happened in 48hrs i will definetly go to comsumer court to take legal action against this.

          My phone is just 9 months old. Suddenly i got a message as corrupt. I rebooted the mobile for 3-4 times. all the phone memory contacts got lost. I am really shocked. also my mobile became very slow. I spent 22k for this mobile all got into vain now. So kindly check out the service for sony ericsson before going for the mobile.

            8 months back i purchase a Sony Ericsson mobile phone(Model No.: K790i) of RS12000, from last 2 months i am facing couple of peoblems with the hand set but the service station workers are telling me that they dont have the parts available with them, and for this i marked the mail also to the company ID but no genuine reply from their side...pls help me..

            Sony Ericsson — pathetic authorised service centres

            i have bought new set of sony ersicsson w580 i and it charger stop working and it is still in guarantee period when i went to their authorised centres in faridabad at shivan towers their mr nishant sharma who say he is owner of this palce and give his mobile numberto me [protected] refuse to take it ...

            excuse he give me that on staurday we work only from 9 to 6
            and about 6 o clock i was in their office and they were very much open at that time their attending one customer, i request to him, that sir toaday i have taken half day specially for this and it is not possible for me to come on regular working days inspite of taking my charger he started misbhaving with me and said that i am onwer of this place and i can do what i want .

            i was shocked by his behaviour, this is service which sony offers to his customes and i will make sure i will take this matter in newspaper's and publish article against your companny

            I'd given my phone at service centre on 14 april, 2008 they said it will go to the company nad will take 15 days to come back. it has been 45 days and still i haven't got my pnone back i have called the customer care and the service centre a hundred times but thet are not giving any satisfactory response i have also sent them many mails but they responded to only 2 of them.

            Sony Ericsson — K790i Stopped working within 1 month

            I had purchased a K790i from 'The mobile Store' on the 1st of May 2008. Within 10 days the microphone stopped working, meaning that the person on the other end could not hear my voice at all. I contacted the store and they asked me to contact the service center (Kaiser). I deposited the phone with Kaiser on the 14th of May, and they gave it back to me on the 26th of May. But, on the 27th morning the same problem occurred. The issue had not been fixed at all. I deposited the phone on the 27th again and am as yet to receive it from Kaiser. Everytime I call they just tell me "sir, pls call tomorrow". I am really unsure as to what should be done. Can you please guide me as to how to file a Consumer court complaint? Also what is the procedure for demanding a replacement handset?

            Sony Ericsson — Their newly purchased phone was dead and they changed the color of my model when they replaced

            Hello Sir,

            I have a complaint against Sony Erricson. I had purchased a phone from sony erricson on 1/7/2008 (model Z555i - Black color). The Phone was phone dead in 7 days it was not getting power. and i have registered a complaint for replacement.

            When they replaced the phone they changed the color of my model from black to rusted red, which a not selling color for their company in the market.

            And at the time of my counter arguments they asked me that again it will take more 10-15 days and I was miserable and had to accept that phone at this time but kindly help me out and get me my original color of the phone. I had purchased this phone for my use and the color was my choice.

            This on Sony's Part is not feasible and they should reply me very user friendly wherein the service center executives are so rude and they never give good reply to the customers moreover they should provide a mobile till i didnt had one mobile. but instead they torture the working people. I am a girl and working and so it is very difficult for me.

            At this time if i dont speak then they will do the same thing with others and i also dont have black color mobile of mine for which i have paid.

            on 20th of dec 2007 i bought Sony Ericsson model no w 580i. on 14 of may 2008 i had a lot of problem on the phone, with the software, number pad and headset, i gave it for repair, it was a replacement done by the company. i was fine with it until today 20 of aug 2008.
            my headset is having the same problem. only right side of my headset is working. I'm not sure whether its the problem with the design? but i believe it is because it keep recurring. its no expected out of sony . im totally unhappy. im really having a bad experience.

FM radio sound is too low, even you are on FM radio in speaker thenafter sound volume is too low i visited in your authorized sales person & services center, they are asking that this is the manufacturing problem.
            Now you people tell me what should I do, if sony Ericsion made that kind of fault in manufacturing than what is difference between local phone & sony ericsion. Both companies are similar in fact local made mobile phone is cheaper rather than sony ericsion. The FM quality of W350i is not good.

            I had purchased a Sony Ericcson Mobile Model No.K790i from M/s Mobile Store at Madurai 10.07.2008..
            After Using it for 10 days, there was a problem with the mobile's camara function...my mobile was not able to capture & save the images...
            I reported a complaint to my vendor M/s Mobile Store on 25.07.2008...
            The same has been sent by the vendor only on 01.08.2008 to the Sony Ericcson Service centre for repair & rectification.
            During the first visit on 03.08.08, I was been told that there was a software Updation that needs to be done...But the first attempt for the same has failed..
            During my second visist on 07.08.08, I was been told that there was a problem with the mobile's Mother board...Hence the same was been sent to chennai for changing the mother board...
            After that I've followed up several times for getting my mobile back, , But i was not been given proper responses either from the service centre or the vendor M/s Mobile store, Madurai...
            At last when i contacted today, , I was been told by my vendor that the mobile was ready on 13.08.08(Yesterday), with the Jobsheet status being Closed..
            Before the mobile was been handed over to me, again there was a problem with the ringing sound, which was been detected by M/s Mobile store P Ltd .
            I was been told that there was no sound heard at the time of calling..hence it was again been given to the service centre for rectification with a new Jobsheet being created for that on 14.08.08(today) (the details of the Job sheet No is given below)(THE JOBSHEET NO HAS NOT BEEN CHANGED BUT THE DATE HAS BEEN ENHANCED TO REDUCE THE NO. OF COMPLAINTS ADDRESSED BY THE SERVICE CENTRE)

            With these kind of responses & problems in the mobile, I'm not satisfied & convinced with my mobile that has gone for service..While enquiring with my vendor M/s Mobile store about the delay in the servicing, , I was shocked to hear from the vendor that atleast this kind of response has been given because of the reason that I've gone thro my vendor...if the customer directly moves to the sony service centre, the delay at the worst scenario...IS THIS A CUSTOMER SERVICE???????
            I've been using Nokia Mobiles for the past 5 years..This is the first time i transformed to Sony, , But due to worst service, , I have decided not to use Sony Ericcson henceforth...I need my money back to the tune of Rs.11000/-...

            It is a matter o[censored]tter shame on the part of such a world-renowned compnay of your repute. that a small complaint is not being attended to after innumerable follow-ups and phone calls.

            Sony Ericsson — Manufacturer defect in camera of mobile

            I have purchased a mobile (Sony Ecrission K530I) from themobileStore, Road no 1 Banajara hills, hyderabad bill no AP01136/00001/0722 dates 13/7/2008. This mobile phone had manufacturing defect as i was not able to save camera picture on my phone. I reported the same to the mobile store. They redirect me to sony ecrission service center by saying that it as some software problem. I reported to sony service center, Road no 2 banjara hills, hyderabad - 500 034 on 23/8/2008 complaint no SES08EXC12333. They also told me the same. After calling them again they told me that its a manufacturing defect in camera and they have to replace it. After calling them for more than 6-8 times they returned back me the phone on[protected]. With the remark Camera has been replaced Camera KNC2015572. I checked the camera quality it was not good as before ( 2 MP). I reportes this back to them on 11/10/2008. They accepted me that the quality is not good but they said " We cant do anything about this, you will have to go to head office, secundraabad. This is a complete harrasment for a customer with so many request they are not accepting their fault. If service center is there then they should solve any customer issue either replace phone or part.
            I have relation with Sony Ericsson mobile company long time; I have use lots of model Sony mobile; but today my mobile w580i mobile problem with call receive + back, menu + c key pad; automatic brake calling switch inner side pin at mobile key pad and I have purchased two no. of mobile and same problem both pieces, Sony Ericsson service center has not support this type of problem and service center guys has talk to me this is not covered in warranty. So I have help less for this model and very difficulty use this types of pad problem and I will see the service center maximum problem in this model for the using people; Sony Ericsson company is the big company and always best service; but why this is company fault all the w580i model; so way you are not replace a new keypad.

            I had deposited headphones of my W580i mobile phone on 04.10.08 in J- block, Rajouri garden service centre of sony ericsson as it was not working, they told me to collect the same on 08.10.08 as i am working i went there on 31.10.08 i was shocked to see that the service centre is about to close and the still did'nt receive new headphones from the company. They told me to collect it on 03.11.08 but i doubt because they are going to shut down that centre. Also the receipt that they are giving does not contain the name of sony ericsson.

            Sony Ericsson W580i cell phone — cell phone W580i not retaining charge since product purchased 2 months back

            I want to make complaint about my phone W580i.
            My young son, a school going boy after collecting his pocket money for a year to buy this mobile is facing problems with the phone since he purchased it on 25Th August 2008 from Sony Ericsson World, Udaipur.
            My son is very disappointed and here are the complaints.

            Complaints My phone does not retain battery charge even when in standby. Even without using the phone suddenly the battery drops from 90 % charge to 40 % charge. At time sthe phone suddenly gets switched off on its own. Sometimes the speaker's maximum sound goes down and the sound becomes soft.

            29 September 2008 submitted to Accel frontline, Udaipur for same problem. Case Id No. UDP-SE -008704.
            Replaced Battery (? new ) received on 14 th October 2008 (after 4 visits and 12 phone calls) to centre.

            Problem persisted. Tried discharging battery and recharging full 2- 3 times but did not help.

            Visited centre again on 17th October.
            Was told by service center engineer that there may be virus in my memory stick. Please note that my memory stick works perfectly fine on my mother’s mobile K810i. kept trying formatting etc but problem persisted.
            Since it was festival time I did not visit again till after Diwali.

            Visited centre on 3rd November. Was given a different battery saying that since this was a new battery the problem would be rectified. But the problem persisted.

            4th November 2008 submitted to Accel frontline, Udaipur for same problem. Present Case Id No. UDP-SE -039476/2008.

            Have spoke many time to the Sony Head office at Delhi. Have spoken to Vijay, Amar. Megha, Raj and Sanjeev. All have merely said that you submit and we will follow up later. In short only empty talk.

            The cellphone W580i that I have purchased has been a faulty piece with manufacturing defect. Hence I would like a total new replacement with new sealed pack from a new lot.( not a repair or a part replacement ) or I would like my entire money refunded as as soon as possible. There are many people whom I know who are facing similar problems. Possibly this entire model ?lot has some problems.

In three months it is creating problem like gets switched off automatically and not recieving the signal properly. i went to sony ericssion service centre in chennnai they examined my mobile they said they have to chenage the mother board in the mobile. they took two weeks to repair my mobile.             Big C - Sony Ericsson W830i — Faulty piece sold

            On December 31st i purchased Sony Ericsson W830i from Big C showroom in Chandanagar for Rs.9700/-. After using for two days, the battery was getting discharged within one hour of completely charging and even without using any multimedia applications (playing songs, FM etc.). The phone was also hanging very often. On 6th Jan., i went to Big C and the servicing person over there said, there is problem with operating system and this needs to be serviced at Sony Ericsson servicing center in Kukatpally. I requested the manager at Big C to replace the piece and provide a new piece as there are lot of problems with the piece i purchased (which was also agreed by the in-house servicing person at Big C). The manager informed me that a replacement will not be done at any cost and only servicing can be done either directly by me approaching the service center or through Big C personnel going to the servicing center and getting it done. But i think, it is not fair on the part of Big C to suggest consumer to stick to the same faulty piece which had problem within a week of purchasing it.

            k790i sony ericsson mobile — worst service

            This is to inform the company that i had buyed a k790i mobile 1 and half year back and now without reason suddenly network stopped.I took it to a sony service centre where they say problem is with IC/MOTHER BOARD the and to repair it costs >8000 rupees or better buy a new set sir .how can a set get damaged without reason and for repair you have to pay 8000 rs, this is really disgusting.So i have decided never to buy a sony product in my life and also will not recomend any body to buy sony products.

            Sony Ericsson — Problem with the sound volume in the sony ericsson model W302i

            When i use the MP3 player in the sony ericsson model W302i, the sound volume is very less even when we keep the maximum volume. And when there is no signal for more than 5 minutues, the mobile is finding it difficult to search for towers after that. So we had to switch off the mobile and switch it on once again. This becomes a problem while we are travelling, because at one point of time we may be in a place where there is no tower, and after few hours we might have moved to an area when there is tower but the mobile is not picking up the signal until we switch it off and switch it on once again.             I bought Sony ericsson handset (w580i) on 6/3/2008 from Subhiksha Trading Service Ltd on the name of Davender Chauhan.In which i have got the warrantee of 1 year, According to my warrantee if there is any problem in my handset you people are liable to resolve the problem and liable to give me the resolution of my problem as Earliest as possible, but you people are not realising the fact that you people are from service industry & what kind of services you people are providing to your customer, its not up to the mark & also its making a bad brand name to your Company.             I have some problem in my sony erisson handset and for the same i have visited your service outlet of dwarka branch there i have met Mr Harsh and miss sonia, i have discussed my hand set problem with them after listning every problem they peple have asked for my original bill i gave them on the spot. After that miss sonia has checked warrante period of my handset whether my handset is in warrante or not.She told me that my handset was in warrante then she asked for my handset and she went to talk with mr Harsh & after she came and said that sir Emi no is not cleared on your handset so sorry we are unable to help you then i asked her to let me talk with Mr Harsh for some clarification & after i had word with Mr Harsh regarding the same problem he was not ready to listen anything and start debating about the same i have told him that i have a original bill & box with me you can check my Emi no on both the Documents but that gentle man has no adiquate how to talk & how to handle the Customer quaries, sorry to say but he only knows how to debate & misbehave.The same time i have asked for the customer care number from him & he was not ready to give that also, after that i have find your custome care no from your site.

            After a day i have contacted your customer care support there is a gentle man called mr Ankur he assist me with his services & i was obliged while talking with him, he is sach a nice person he tried to help me in my problem, he make me to speak with his Manager Mr Kishore & i explained each and every thing to him & he assured me that sir you go and visit our dwarka outlet again and make me speak with Mr Harsh, i did the same as Mr Kishore guided to me i have taken out the time from my busy schdule & visited the outlet again & make him to speak with mr Harsh, after a 15 or 20 minute long discussion Mr Kishore assured me you will get the resolution with in two day.After disconneting the call of Mr Kishore, Mr Harsh came to me & said now you do whatever you want you will not get any resolution to your problem & misbehaved also his behavior was very rude to me & he was not accepting the mobile phone. With due respect to Mr kishore i again called him & told each and everything to him he was shocked to know this then he called up directly to Mr harsh & they people had talk i was not aware about what discussion they people were having. After 10 min Mr Kishore called me and said sir mother boad of you Mobile phone is dead thats what Mr Harsh told to Mr kishore Without taking my handset in his hand how come he got to know that my mother boad is not working i m really shocked that Sony Erisson has hired Astrologer on his rolls. After all the things happened Mr kishore has again assure me the sir give me 7 days time your problem will be resolved, with due respect to Mr kishore but sorry to say they all were making me fool & doing all scrap with me After i have realize i have wasted my time as well as i got to know the image of the Big Brand Company.

            This is the last option of mine that i m writing a mail to you after that i have no option left apart from going to consumer court or a media

            I tried to log a complaing into soney ericsso web site but they not provided any lose of mobile complain fecility.

            Can you please suggest me what should I do hear?
            I bought a new Sony Ericsson Mobile Phone (Model k530i) purchased from Ms.Saravana store, T.Nagar, chennai.07 vide their bill amount for Rs.7175/-. However, I could not use the mobile for 1 month after using 8 months it was having no. of problems such as Hanging, cannot power on etc. Thus I rushed back to the dealer M/s. Iconet, indira nagar adayar, who are the service agent of the company.

            I told him that I need another set and not a repaired one. Still he insisted me to give it to the service centre. At that time I had left with no option but handed over the set to their service Agent M/s. icconet indira nagar, adayar, chennai.

            Now a fortnight has passed neither I have been given a new set nor am informed about the plight of my mobile set.

            Being a reputed company, I have trusted on this product and I am sure that they will do the needful to keep my confidence intact.

            Sony Ericsson W350i — Worst service , worst phone quality

            I have purchased a Sony Ericsson phone ( W350i) on 2nd December 2008.

            The phone right from the day it was purchased was giving fault and since two monhts the phone is not working. phone turns off during startup and then remains off.

            I have given the phone for service multiple times to service center "Accel frontline services (P) limited" based in Andheri (E), Mumbai. According to them there is some main "IC" problem and I will have to speak to "Sony ericsson " company directly for replacement.

            I am very surprised and astonished with these kind of comments from such a reputed company.

            I leves me with a feeling of frustration and anger in the age of what we call " service " is the most improtant factor in retaining customers.

            When my person visited your service center at 12.30 and was asked to sit till 3.00 and the only thing told to him was that they are checking.

            In between they came out and said that the mobile is tempered, it is very surprising to get such a comment from them as I have just collected the handset from them last week. And if it is tempered that they are the ones who have tempered it.

            Their service center does not give porper replies and have noticed during my visit a lot of people shouting and and not getting resoluting to issues.
            My self Ms. Heena Patel, from Baroda has purchased your company mobile W710i in April 2007. Since than after every three - four month i m facing problem.. First was for the front display was not working so another id was provided to me FOR Display not working but the side lock key also was spoilt at the service centre. Than after the rubber on flap came out, after replacement of that the ear piece stopped working. Now the problem arising is of connectivity lossing during tal since last 4 months. And the service center is telling that this model is having problem with BSNL connectiviity and suggesting for changing the card, Which is not at all possible from my side. I am in marketing fields since last 5 years and that's why very frustrated with the problem. While the same card is working better with other mobile

            .I have already kept my cell phone for over 2 months at the Baroda service centre. Please check you records as i believe the handset that has been sold to me is a faulty one otherwise in less than 9 months i didn't need to visit the SERVICE CENTRE at 4 different occasions.

            I am finally tired of writing and visiting the auth centre.Not only I have wasted fuel but every time I visit the centre my time as I need to spend at least an hour every time.

            I DEMAND FOR A HANDSET REPLACEMENT AND THE MODEL REPLACEMENT AS YOU CAN REALIZE VISITING A SERVICE CENTRE 4 TIME IN LESS THAN 9 MONTHS IS NOT ELSE BUT INCONVENIENCE DUE TO A FAULTY PRODUCT.

            Hi,

            This is regarding a complaint against the Sony ericsson W580i which I purchased on the 9th of December07. During the first 6 months of purchase, this phone went to the service center atleast 3-4 times. Despite all this, the phone konked off all of a sudden around 2 months back again. I gave it to the service center to check about the fault and they said that there is some problem with a circuit due to which a wire has to be changed and then it would start working fine - this would cost me Rs. 1400. I didnt want to spend that kind of money at that time so I decided to take the phone back and give it after sometime. I went ahead and started using some other phone and gave the phone for repair again a week back. This time they said that there is an LCD default and now it would cost me 3k to get the phone repaired.

            I am extremely amazed at the attitude of the authorised centers employees who have absolutely no courtesy and manners to speak to their customers and speak to you as if you are using a cellphone for the first time in your life...I must say that this kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and I dont expect this from Sony who claim excellent after sales service...I need a solution to this problem because I am no longer going to speak to the service center people. I need a solution to this in writing now...

            I brought a brand new Sony Ericsson K850i from a reputed shop called "The Mobile Shop" on last dipawali around oct or nov 2008. Mobile is working properly for 3 to 4 month but after that mob is switching off automatically, keypad was misbehaving i immidiately given it to sony ericsson service centre "Krishna Infotech" located at maninagar in ahmedabad (Gujarat) they told me that there is some software problem and we have to service it i submitted my mobile and they repaired it. after 1 month same problem occur. I again went to service center and complain for the same but they did not respond properly i submitted my mobile on 2nd june 2009 i also complained at sony call center and also done a mail to sony customer care my complain at that time was handset speaker is not working properly, mob was switching off automatically, keypad misbehaving. After frequent followup to service center and call center for one month atlast they told me that you can take your mobile back service is done. But they actually havent done anything with my mobile speaker problem is still as it was. Mobile is still switching off automatically.

            My mobile is still under company's warrenty period please help me to solve my problem.

            Sony Ericsson — Poor Service Centre

            I have purchased one SONY ERICSSON MOBILE PHONE Model G700 from Pune. The same phone after sometime started giving problems to me that too during the guarantee period. I took the same to an authorized service centre and after some days it was returned to me with the assurance that it has been repaired and there is no problem. But to my surprise the problem was there where it was. I again visited the same service centre and was told that this service centre is being closed and I shall have to go to the other service centre. It was after lot of efforts that I could locate the new centre where I again gave my mobile for repair.
            It is more than one and a half month now and despite my repeated reminders and personal visits to the service centre the officials there don’t respond to my requests and more ever don’t attend the phone calls or give any satisfactory replies if at all they pick up the phone.
            As my job profile involves heavy usage of mobile phone I dont know what to do. I am really frustated by the service of a company with such a big name. I think I have wasted Rs. 14, 599/-. I dont know what to do.

            hi i had purchased a sony ericcson mobile c510 on 23/03/09...after 2months on 15 jun'09 i gave my mobile due to defects in the mobile reading the sim card.
            then the service center said we will get the phone in 7 days, but there was no information about the phone...on pursuing the matter after 15 days i finally made a police complaint when they returned the phone to me saying that if the defect repeated the mobile will be replaced within 15 days...
            then again on june 27 the same problem occured and we went back to the service center they said sir replacement wont be possible but they will surely repair and return the phone...
            Since then till date i have not been able to retrieve my phone from the service center...i again put in a police complaint and even that dint help us...the company will just wont give me my phone back and neither are they replacing it...i have spoken to over 20 people in the past 2 months but alas my money is as gud as gone...

            Sony Ericsson C510 mobile — Not getting proper after sales service within warranty period

            Bought the Sony Ericsson C510 handset on 21st April 2009. Problem of the handset: Distorted sound from the speaker(the main speaker from where ringtone is audiable). Visited the Sony Ericsson service center (Neosa Electronics Pvt. Ltd.) several times for the replacement of the speaker. Feedback: The speaker is not available with us, will let you know as soon as we have the same. Atlast, they took the handset on 29th July 2009(Work order number- SE309NEP10182).
            On 7th Aug 2009 called up the Sony Ericsson customer care complaining the same (Complaint Number [protected]). Was asked to call them up again on 12th Aug 2009. Today(17th Aug 2009), called up the customer care for the resolution. But, they asked to call them again on thursday(20th Aug 2009).
            I am not getting any feedback from the customer care nor from the service center. Neither they provide a spare handset for my use. Its very problematic if I have to buy another handset for my use though my handset is in warranty period.
            this is the worst ever model (w350i) i have seen from sony a world wide reputed company. i have to see its service station every now and than for small and major problems. its around 1yrs i have purchased the phone but i seen the service station for 10 times. i dont consider this sucess even though it provides good music effects. the quality of the phone is pathetic and of infirior. on the contrary its Rs1000 costing phone provide good quality.

            This is to bring in notice that I have submitted sony handset (W580I) in Lucknow service center work order no. Se[protected], on subbmission of set i was told set is not under warranty as IMEI no is expired, but I have puchased the set from 'The Mobile Store" on 13/09/08, which clearly shows its under warranty, as I had lost original recipt I was told to show the recipt by evening, but due to high repair of cost service center now does not stand on their words, and replied that "set is booked under non warranty, so we cannot do anything". & the center manager Mr Ajay was very rude in behaviour & was not ready to listen any thing was behaving like I am a begger at his doorstep..
            This is a very shamefull part, if SONY ERRICSON has market stratigy like this & emply Managers like this.

            one month ago my handset gone to dead state. i have purches this handset before four months ago. I gave it to service center . after 22 days it is received to me , and after 2 hours it shows same problem. i shows it to them and again they send it for replacement. so, from 50 days i suffering many problem without mobile, becauce of the faulty service of service sentre.
            My mobile is W580i. I bought it one and half year back. During free service period once i got LCD DISPLAY PROBLEM. i approched sony ericcson service centre in ambattur, chennai. they found that it was a inbuilt problem so they made a free service and assured me that i will not face any DISPLAY related problems in feature. but now it happened again.now i again approched your service centre in ambattur but they are saying that they will claim charge(about 2000) for resolving the problem by replacing new display. i am very much fed up with your phone quality . i am not satisfied with your product(W580i). i request you to take this complaint serious and i need a solution to this problem. i request you to either replace my mobile or to put a new LCD DISPLAY freely with out charging amount . do favour for your valuable costomer. i am struggling with my mobile due to this display problem...

            Sony Ericsson W580i — Handset not repaired even after 2 months of submission

            My work order no is.-SE309RTC11540. My phone got dead on 28 july 2009 and i submitted it on 31 july 2009 with the sony ericsson service center. But till now ie after two months i haven't received my set repaired. They are just postponing its delivery on one excuse or the other. Once they said that i can receive my set but on reaching there they said it hasn't been repaired. I am harassed at the hands of sony ericsson service center

              Issue: The jog dial of my P1i was slipping

              Date Submitted: July 19th 2008 at DM telesystems an authorized service partner of TVS E service centre at Ghatkopar, Mumbai.

              WO no: SE08-A[protected]

              Waited for about 2:30 Min so submit the mobile. They told that PCB needs to be changed.

              Collected the Mobile back on 30th July 2008 at around 5:45 PM, I didn't check the mobile at the service centre as I have to rush to office. To my amusement I found that there was very low volume and was not able to listen on the incoming voice speaker. Rushed to the service center but found that it was closed.

              Next day morning I was waiting at the service center from early in the morning 8:40 AM to submit my mobile. The engineer told me that the Incoming speaker needs to be changed. I asked them to reopen the same old WO and he told that it is a completely new problem and created a new WO sheet.

              Date reSubmitted: 31st July 2008 for the Incoming Voice Problem

              The service engineer told that it will take 3 to 4 days. I was calling them daily and no one ever answers that phone[protected].I went to the service centre to collect the mobile on 5th of August and was shocked to find the mobile in the same state with the same problem. As they have been opening my mobile lot of times now the keys are gone down and the case is not fitting properly.Now they say that its PCB problem and it might take more than a week's time.
              I have spent lot of invaluable time and money with Sony Ericsson Service center. I am expecting this to be solved at the earliest or else please provide me with a new mobile phone.


              I have collected my mobile on 14th of august from the service center as I was traveling for some official work. Today I was surprised to find that the flash of the camera is not working which was not the case earlier.

              So I request you to still open the case and I would submit my cell phone on 26h of aug at the same center in Mumbai.

              Do you want me to submit my mobile at a different service center in mumbai.

              even on 14th I visited twice as they didnt tell me the unlock code which was 1367.

              Please Help.

              i have given the phone with a small problem and now every time i collect the mobile there is a new problem.

              I should have bought a chinese mobile for some 5k. I have invested 19, 500 on this mobile and not getting thedesired servce as expected.

                Dear Sir

                This is to bring to your notice that I purchased a Sony Ericsson W200i from Alfa in Mumbai in November last year. In February 2008, I started getting problems where the signals would disappear and I would get displays of "Insert SIM' or "For emergency calls only". After taking the handset to the Sony customer care service centers, I was asked to leave it with them for carrying out the necessary repairs. After more than a week I was told that the same had been repaired. However within 15 days, the same problem resurfaced and again I gave the phone back for repairs. This time around they took almost 2 weeks to repair it, saying that they had changed the complete circuit amd mother board etc inside.

                But again I have started getting the same problems - all of this when the phone is still under warranty as its not even 1 year old ... I callled up the helpline asking to talk to somebody in the company but they said that they are not authorised to do the same. Now I do not want to waste my time trying to go to the service centre located at saki naka and go through the whole rigmarole again.

                Please advise what recourse do I have now?

                    The Phone has major issue's with its motherboard and display.

                    I purchased a W580i on June 25, 2008.
                    Just a day after I bought it most of my collegues told I should'nt have bought it. I did'nt take it seriously then since my piece seemed to work fine. One of my friends did tell me that she had an experience with the handset and knew for first hand that the handset was'nt good. I could'nt ignore her when she told me that her phone had developed display problems and eventually she had to get the motherboard replaced. All this withen first month of purchase. Now I know atleast three other friends who went through the same trouble withen 3 months of purchasing the handset.
                    So when My phone developed issue's with the speaker (withen 20 days of purchase) I wasted no time in returning the handset to the Andheri Service Center (ACCEL FRONTLINE LIMITED) for replacment. I deposited my cell phone with ACCEL FRONTLINE LIMITED on July 17, 2008. Since they did not consider replacement over a speaker issue. I raised a complaint with Sony Ericsson soon after. But it seems Customer Service and SE* are two different entities who dont know each other. My complaint was raised on June 21st 2008 and since then they have been asking me to call after two days as they have not recieved any feedback from the service center. Out of frustration when I asked for floor supervisors I was either placed on long holds or hung up on. I did manage to speak to Manish, Nilesh and Vijay Sharma
                    on other occasions. But on subsequent follow ups they all turned out to be non existent entities. The customer care associates told me there are no floor supervisors with that name in Sony Ericsson. Meanwhile towards July end I got a call from ACCEL's chennai head office stating that the phone has been repaired, Since my complaint with Sony Ericsson was still unresolved I decided to wait and collect it later.
                    Mean while there was'nt much happening from Sony Ericsson Customer Care end. Does'nt look like they cared really, I was still being asked to call after two days. With Sony Ericcson these two days just did'nt seem to end. Because the calls to Customer care were'nt bearing any fruit I email at questions.[protected]@support.sonyericsson.com . Three emails sent in the last one week and still no reply. I've learnt to expect this from Sony Ericsson now.
                    Yesterday on August 08, 2008 out of frustration I decieded to go back to ACCEL and pick up my handset understanding very well that SE* would'nt care much about its customers after pocketing our money.
                    What happened at the Service Center inspired me to write this review. I noticed that all the service center executives were using cell phones deposited by customers for serving. I know this because all these phones had stickers with complaint numbers on them. That apart when I asked for my handset I was told it was'nt ready. Shocked I reminded them that I had a call last week from them asking me to collect the handset. they refused this saying that the handset was never ready since they are still waiting to get the replacment motherboard (2nd Shock) from SE*.
                    Three questions :
                    1. Why did ACCEL Channai ask me to collect the handset if its not ready?
                    2. Why was I never informed about this motherboard issue?
                    3. If its really a motherboard issue, After have the handset for over 20 days why are they still waiting for the replacment?

                    ACCEL has asked me to check on the handset after a week. Meanwhile SE continues to ignore my emails. Not single email since the complaint was initiated on July 21, 2008.

                    Sony Ericsson/w580i — non replacement of faulty spare in warranty period

                    Regarding my sony ericsson w580i handset which was purchased on 5th nov 2007 from "The mobile store" palarivattom, cochin, kerala had a problem on the display when took to the sony authorised service centre "Accel frontline ltd" on 6th june 2008 was rejected due to the reason that the display has to be changed coz of corrossion on pcb board which doesnt come under the warranty and the replacement of the faulty parts will be payable.
                    is it that sony ericsson is not at all responsible for there products or is it the service centre guys trick to earn and the service guys tells all stories regarding the fault which was observed.

                    What commitment are you talking about? You take 20 days to reply on a mail that was fowarded 5 times to you and you say thats commitment.
                    Ever since I bought this handset it has spent more time with you then with me. When I first deposited the handset with ACCEL they asked me to collect it in 4 days. Now its over a month since my phone is with them. Last when I visited on August 08, 2008, they asked me to collect my handset next week. Now 10 days after that you write to me asking me for some more time. And for what? Repairing the handset?? Who wants a repaired piece? I did'nt pay 10 K for a second hand piece. I want a refund all expenses (cost including taxes paid). I wanted to be compensated for all calls I was placed on hold / hung up on, All the fruitless trips I made to ACCEL. All the false promises Sony Ericsson made.

                    I, Rogaciano Fernandes bought two Sone Ericsson cell phones (W810i & W580i) on June 25, 2008. Although I was told by the dealer that the speaker output of W58i is better than W810i when I started using the phones I noticed it was'nt the same. The sound output of W810i was much better than the W580i, since I was'nt interested in using the speaker mode so much I did'nt bother about that. However after a few days I noticed that when the cellphone rang the sound was cracking. My work enviroment allows me to keep the Cell phone on only on silent mode so I did'nt realise this earlier.
                    As soon as I noticed this flaw I took the piece back to the dealer and he assured me that it would be replaced and advised me to deposit the cell phone at ACCEL FRONTLINE LIMITED.
                    I immediatly deposited my cell phone at Accel Frontline as directed on July 17, 2008 at 16:53 PM. Therafter I placed a complaint with Sony Ericsson (SE[protected] to ensure that my phone is replaced A.S.A.P. And I am throughly disappointed by the way my complaint has been handled. Last week I recieved a call from Accel informing me that the phone has been repaired when I had asked for a replacment. Also when I call SE customer care they keep asking me to callback after two wrking day. Its been over ten days now. When I ask for a floor supervisor I am either hung up on or just placed on hold. I been on hold once for
                    over one hour waiting for Jeetendra, who I was told was the floor

                    I called ACCEL on August 20, 2008 at 11:30 AM and they informed me that the Phone was ready and I could collect it. Considering how frustrating your custormer service is and understanding very well now that a customer should not expect much from Sony Ericsson once he has paid for the phone, I thought of getting my phone back from ACCEL. So on August 21, 2008 I went to ACCEL to collect my phone. After waiting for over 01 hour (Besides the 01 month that I had already waited for) when I finally got my phone back I found how used and worn out it looked. The keys have become loose and the panel seemed out of place. The blue tooth funtion ain't working too. And on all this there was a sticker there which said "TESTED". Who tested it and what did he test? When I asked to speak to some one from Sony Ericsson. They said theres no one from Sony Ericsson there. No wonder their service sucks.

                    The state that hand set is in. I dont want it back. Please arrange for a refund.

                    I went there on 20th september.
                    They assured me that they would raise a spare request as they were running short of spares.
                    Approximate delay they told was 2-3 weeks.
                    After 1 month, on 18th October I went there again. Still the spare was under construction. I feel it had to be manufactured in china or some other country and to ship here once an order is placed. Even then 64 days is too long.
                    My warranty was expiring and they told me that it is better to enter the handset as a live call so that spare will come instantly.
                    So i left the set there and i got a service request form. My request no is SES08SYS 13115 entered on 18-Oct-2008 at 3:59PM.
                    Complaint was Keys not working. Their analysis was Bonzer flex faulty.
                    Being an Electronics Engineer, i have some idea of the things they are telling me. It seems that my phone had a non-dotted connector and now as it is not available both the hinge assembly and the dotted flex have to be replaced. It cost ~2, 500/- and it was clear that if i spend the sum at that time i could have got the spare on the spot.
                    When I called there on 6th November they again told some other excuses.
                    On 11th Nov when i called, they insulted me. After asking who was calling, the put the receiver down. No reply for 2-3 minutes.
                    Is this the way you are treating the customers.
                    2 months for a handset to be repaired. It is horrible.


                    I want to know clearly, whose irresponsibility troubled me. Whether it is Sony ericsson or your Trivandrum franchisee.
                    I logged there on 18th September. So pls tell me when they raised the spare request?
                    Why the spare is available for out warranty cases? How many similar cases both warranty and outwarranty cases they delivered during this period?
                    Why this much delay had been occurred?
                    Who is responsible for this?
                    Is this the way a prospective, potent, sensible and genuine customer is being serviced?
                    Don't you understand what market forcasting is, what knowing the needs and identifying customer etc.
                    What compensation are you giving me?

                    I can speculate that when you contact them they'll tell some excuses and send some manipulated reports.
                    I tell you they are simply making money at your expense and your name is being used for the same.
                    Anyhow i want to know your response and what action you are going to take against them. After knowing that only I've to take a decision.
                    I'm an IT professional working, Trivandrum.
                    I don't have time to follow them up or you.
                    But the situation highly necessitates that i must go to consumer court and/or Lokayukta.
                    Also an orkut community and a blogsite have much to do with the mileage and glamor of W580i and also Sony ericsson.
                    Do you openly agree that the connector used in old W580 is faulty?
                    What is the difference between dotted and non-dotted bonzer flex used in w580i? Requesting you to provide me with a new phone, if this one can't be repaired in the warranty period.

                    I called up[protected] and to my surprise, they gave me a reply telling that the issue would be resolved in 24 business hours(good terminology) Well, it's been a week after that, and i assume, their business is stopped ever since then. Complaint ID is SE 750_7612. I re-raised the same complaint, and yet to receive any response.

                        I had raised complaint against Kalyan’s sony ericsson authorizd service centre (Sony Ericsson Service Center at Kalyan, Dist- Thane, state- Maharshtra).

                        There was a minor joystick problem because of dust in my my cell.I submitted my mobile(K810i) to this service centre on date 2nd Aug 08.While submitting they have cleared that that there is just adust problem and it will be resolved in 2-3 days.

                        When I got my mobile after repairing the joystick problem was resolved but that technician has introduced 3 more problems in cell:

                        two keys were not working properly.
                        Inner screen guard is tampered.
                        Camera shutter is not working at all.


                        After doing all these damage they are denying and saying it might be from your side.

                        I submitted my cell on that day only with new job sheet id after discussing with sony ericsson support(request number SE[protected].

                        Service centre person promised me to give mobile on 11th Aug 08.Still I didn’t get mobile back and those people avoiding my request by giving any reason.

                        And I strongly believe that after doing lots of experiment on my handset, It won’t work properly now. And as my warranty period is over now, I can’t use that experimented hand set which can be get off any time. Please provide me with new handset if possible because my handset was perfectly fine but service centre made it unusable.

                        Please look into this request on higher priority.

                        I would like to escalate it to higher authority.



                        (now they are replacing some parts inside but I don’t think they are using genuine parts and I think some malpractice is going on as I see no reason that the perfectly working camera shutter(which is at back side of cell) is damaged to replacement while clearing the dust from joystick(which is at front side).

                          They took the product for Service. On 31-Jul-2008 they informed me the product is ready and I went to collect the same. They said there was a soldering problem and they have rectified it. Since it is a very small problem they didn’t even collected service charge from me. After that I used the player I had a strange doubt in the battery backup. Earlier before servicing the product my batter life is very high. If I make full charge the battery time lasts for 15-20 days and I used to listen to songs around 1 hour per day. But now it is too low. I checked by charging the player for Full and left it without use for 1 day. After one day it showed Low batter Indicator. I was soo surprised. I went to the service centre and explained them the same. They said they are not responsible for the battery failure. I called up the customer care they asked me “What is the proof that your battery is changed?”. As a customer how can I have serial number of all the parts inside the product. That is the reason we come to the company’s service centre, . And nonone was ready to take up the responsibility. The customer care people and the service engineers have good rampo so that they don’t accept their mistake. They said if I want to change the batter then I should bear the cost.

                          If I go to service centre with a fault for the parts replaced I can bear the amount. But if people in the service centre tamper the product or replace the good one who should bear it? These kind of mishappening are being done in the service centre of one of the leading companies all over the world is very shocking for me. They gave me an estimate for Rs 1200 Including the battery charge and service charge. I didn’t mind spending but I lost the faith in Sony service centre and I don’t want them to mint my money and time so I told them I am withdrawing. One more reason for the same is when I asked the Customer care how I can I make sure that they don’t replace anymore parts if I place the product for service again. The reply is “If you want you can give it else you can take it back”

                          I have decided not to buy even 1 rupee product of Sony anymore. Sony may not be much bothered about losing one customer like me. But this kind of mishappening will start here and there and will bring down the faith of the customers.

                          Please don’t do these kind o[censored]nfaithy things to the customer.

                            I purchased Sony Ericsson mobile P990i through sify shopping web site http://shopping.sify.com/shopping online in Dec 07 wide Purchase order no. .s[protected]b
                            The mobile IMEI no. is[protected] and model is P990i. Invoice no. 2839 by N R Infotech, Mumbai 07
                            It was delivered to my Dombivali (Mumbai- India) address on 25th Dec 07.
                            Recently I have taken it to Sony Service center for some repair. ( LCD screen calibration problem)
                            Sony service center at Saki Naka is saying that this mobile was not sold in India and hence we will not consider guarantee period.
                            I feel cheated. The Sify site clearly mentioned guarantee period.
                            Even after buying mobile in India, making Rupee payment, I do not get guarantee.
                            I request you to help me.
                            Latest status: Sony Service Center say that mobile can not be repaired and they are returning it back. I have paid Rs.14000/- and within six months I have to throw the mobile since it can not be repaired also.
                            I have raised complaint with Sony Ericsson and their reference no. is 72430288.
                            I have also raised complaint with Sify Customer care and their reference no. is
                            7297070
                            Both parties did not give any solution so far.
                            Please help me to get a replacement phone.

                              I, Rogaciano Fernandes bought two Sone Ericsson cell phones (W810i & W580i) on June 25, 2008. Although I was told by the dealer that the speaker output of W58i is better than W810i when I started using the phones I noticed it was'nt the same. The sound output of W810i was much better than the W580i, since I was'nt interested in using the speaker mode so much I did'nt bother about that. However after a few days I noticed that when the cellphone rang the sound was cracking. My work enviroment allows me to keep the Cell phone on only on silent
                              mode so I did'nt realise this earlier.
                              As soon as I noticed this flaw I took the piece back to the dealer and he assured me that it would be replaced and advised me to deposit the cell phone at ACCEL FRONTLINE LIMITED.
                              I immediatly deposited my cell phone at Accel Frontline as directed on July 17, 2008 at 16:53 PM. Therafter I placed a complaint with Sony Ericsson (Complaint # SE[protected] to ensure that my phone is replaced A.S.A.P.
                              And I am throughly disappointed by the way my complaint has been handled. Last week I recieved a call from Accel informing me that the phone has been repaired when I had asked for a replacment. Also when I call SE customer care they keep asking me to callback after two wrking day. Its been over ten days now. When I ask for a floor supervisor I am either hung up on or just placed on hold. I been on hold once for over one hour waiting for Jeetendra, who I was told was the floor Supervisor. I did manage to speak to Manish, Nilesh and Vijay Sharma on other occasions. But on subsequent follow ups they all turned out to be non existent entities. Your customer care associates told me there are no floor supervisors with that name in Sony Ericsson. That
                              means a lot of people representing Sony Ericsson have been dishonest with me, starting with dealer who assured me that the cell phone would be replaced right to the cusomer care associates and so called floor supervisors who I doubt even exist..
                              I did'nt pay all this money to be treated this way. I dont care about my cell phone but I definatly expect an apology for this kind of customer treatment.
                              Today (0808/2008) I paid a visit to Accel Frontline Limited to check on my cell phone which I had deposited on 17/07/2008 because it had developed a speaker problem. I was told today that the phone has problems with the motherboard and will take another week to get it replaced.
                              Now I would like to remind you that initially when I had returned the phone I specifically requested for a complete replacement and I was ask to raise a complaint with Sony Ericsson to escalate the issue. I raised the complaint soon after but on all my follow up calls I was either placed on hold and never attended too, or I was transferred to some one who claimed to be a floor supervisor. I spoke to Manish, Nilesh & Vijay Sharma who all claimed to be floor supervisors but on subsequent follow up calls I was told that no such people existed in Sony Ericsson Customer service. My last few conversations have been with Sanjeev who happens to be your only employee who has bothered to call back and update me on my complaint. But that was over a week ago and since then nothing has happened. My mails to Sony Ericsson too weren't being answered.
                              It was out of sheer frustration that I had gone to ACCEL my handset and accept it in whatever condition it was. But in light of the new issue with the mother board I would now want a refund. All expenses paid including taxes.
                              I have been made aware by my colleagues that the handset has major issues with its display and motherboard. If that's not enough when I checked with the customer service people at ACCEL they too confirmed that this handset has issues with its motherboard.
                              Having understood this I really don't feel comfortable continuing to use this handset.

                              Sony Ericsson / W 580i — Pathetic and the worst service

                              I bought my new cell W 580i from one of the sony ericsson showrooms in gurgaon 3 months back, the key pad stopped working all of a sudden, when taken to the service centre, the cold response of the gentlemen who looked and sounded irritated and pissed in his life told me to leave it with him and come back after 6 hours, the same was done but when i returned the cell was not even touched leave alone the repairing part. I took the cell back and spoke with the manager in Delhi who sits in Delhi office. Asked me to leave the cell with the service centre guy so that he gets it to Delhi for repairing, did the same. Its been a month there is no response from them. They dont know the status of my cell, where is it and they have no information. I have been running behind them, they have stopped picking up my calls.
                              I really dont know who to contact because even the manager seems to be helpless and gives me weird replies like we are replacing it and sometimes they are trying to repair it, and at times they tell me we dont know the status and on the other hand i am handicapped without my cell.
                              sir mine is 580i piece, i took it last week only, in that i got a problem that configaration error, pls contact your service center, .I took it 2 service center and asked to solve the problem, now he is asking RS.350/-... i am having the warrenty card also...

                              I bought my Sony Ericsson Mobile W580i in the month of April from Hot Spots Retails Pvt. Ltd., Yusuf Sarai, Delhi. Suddenly the Display got blank on 09/07/2008. I went to service centre at Arun watch Shop, Yusuf Sarai and given the mobile to get it repaired under the Complaint ID SES08AWS11872. Its been a month now whenever I go and ask the status their reply was LCD Stock is not available so they do not know when they can get my mobile back in shape. The service centre manager seems to be helpless and gives me weird replies and asked us to talk to Okhla Office but they are also helpless. I am handicapped without my cell and have no idea who to contact.
                              I[censored] are really having problems with sony eicsson just vist the salora interntional office in okhla. That is the best service center for SE phones and they keep ur phone for maximum 2-3 days

                              I have to agree, Sony Ericsson does has horrible customer support. I sent in my phone for repair on the cracked keypad for W580i, and when I called them two weeks later to check on my phone's status with the RMA# they provided to me, they just ignore me because I couldn't provice them the "Postal Office tracking number." I asked them can't you just type in the RMA# on your data base, and check the status on my phone? And the Sony Ericsson customer support just said no. Well, hopefully I can find my Postal Office tracking number and phone them up again for the status, otherwise I can only pray and wait...
                              Even I am facing the problem. It is almost a month and my W580i isn't come back. They keep telling another two more days. Pathetic customer support. Never will i make the mistake of buying a Sony Ericcsson product.
                              I bought W580i in the month of february 2008. Somehow the phone starting giving problems after two months where it gets stuck. It hangs quite often and one cannot recieve or disconnect calls. Now the screen got broke and I have no where to go to get it repaired as customer service does not respond.

                              Never have I had a problem with any electronic device until I bought the 580i in November 2007. Within a month AT&T replaced the first bad one. In November of 2008 I finally sent the replacement back. They fixed some things but off and on I would email SonyEricsson to keep them apprised of what problems I was having and did not send it back because I had grown to like the phone and did not want to be without it again.
                              Following up with emails is not the same as sending it back within the 90 day repair warranty, so now I am using it as take the phone apart in a DIY attempt. Don't buy the phone!!!

                              This is to inform you that, I am using Sony ericsson 580 i mobile last 8 months. I was facing problem in my ear speaker, I have given my Mobile at you service centre that is RT-outsourcing services Ltd, Silver Sanchora castle shop No 15, 16, 17, 18 RNT Marg Indore[protected]. They have received my mobile phone problem dated 31/07/09 and ask me to come after 06/08/09. they have change speaker parts. they have not tested my mobile and said now it's working properly. I come back to my office and checked it again it was not working. I call RT outsourcing again. they ask me to come to their centre. I have visited again they again recheck my mobile and said we are not able to repairer it. I request them to give this thing in writing that you are not able to give services to me, then they have taken my mobile again and asked me to come after 10 days. I have called him after 10 days they are telling your parts has not come it will take 10 days more.

                              Now i request you to please see my problem last 25 days my mobile is having problem. RT outsourcing people are never given me any satisfactory answer.                                 sony world madurai (near bye pass road) refused to provide a receipt for a sony remote purchased, it was home delivered without a receipt. Padmanabhan the manager refuses to provide the receipt despite repeated requests and refuses to exchange the product for a higher better model. The product is unused as received.

                                  I m from Baroda (Gujarat). i used the All Sony Ericsson Walkman Series Phones from last 4 years. but thise time i m not satisfy from SE Serivces.

                                  in May/2008 i buy SE W910i, but after 1 month its PCB Corrupts Itself, and SE Serivce Centre Replaced it with the new one.

                                  after 1 month from replacing the PCB, i had another problem.
                                  The System Connector Break Out Itself from the PCB. (Cause of SE's Rules and Regulations-They said how to Remove the Headphone Port and Usb or Charging Port.)

                                  Now they are no Ready to take the responsibility for the Warranty of my phone and i lost my phone's warranty.

                                  i do as they said, i give them my phone on 7/11/08, for the Repairings for the Phone.

                                  and today is 5/08/08, they give me my phone and say, "there is no any chance to repair it, you have to charge the battery from the DESKTOP CHARGER" and you just touch wid us, if connector comes from the company we'll try. and they also lost my phone's Volume Key.

                                  sir have u like this type of service????

                                  so what i do rite now, i had buy this phone of cost Rs.16000.

                                  i want to replace my phone with the company, otherwise i have to take the liegle action.

                                  I purchased a W910i last year February and I have had nothing but endless apparently unsolvable problems. The phone has to be sent for software upgrades WAY MORE than it actually should and the phone freezes and switches off even on the day it comes back from the upgrade. I have been a loyal customer of Sony Ericsson for the past seven years and find this very dissappointing. I am starting to lose confidence in this once "a cut above the rest' product.                                     I purchased 1 pc. Sony Ericsson W580i cell phone (IMEI No. [protected]) from Hotspots retails pvt. ltd. Bhootnath Market, Indira Nagar, Lucknow on 23/12/2007 for Rs. 11950 (Inv No.[protected]. After using it for sometime, the cell has problemed and I complained the same to the authorized service centre of Sony Ericsson (Soni Ericsson Service Centre, Suratdeep Complax, 1st Floor, D-Block, Swantra Bharat Campus, 16, Rana Pratap Marg, Lucknow) on 03/06/2008 and deposited my handset . On 05.06.2008 I got the cell from service centre. But the problem was still and back of the phone was changed. I once again deposit my phone to above centre. I discussed with the concerned Ms. Robina Gujral and she told me that motherboard of the phone problemed so handset will replace the same with the new one as it is under warranty period. Subsequently, I deposited the phone to them. She said that H/S will be delivered on 22/07/2006, Thereafter I paid several visits to them followed by phone calls but they are not giving any head. It is almost 15 days have passed.
                                    I am a common consumer and facing a tremendous hardship due to such practice of the authorized service centre. I seek your kind intervention to get me the replacement and the compensation for the delay and the strict action against the authorized service centre, M/S Soni Ericsson Service Centre (particularly the concerned officer Ms. Robina Gujral) so as to curb such unjustified and unreasonable acts of the manufacturers and service providers.

                                    Consequences : I am without phone. Since I cannot afford to buy a further new handset.

                                      I went to Sony Ericsson showroom but there I did not any response .please do something about this .As you know that cell phones are very important in our life and my business depends on it. Kindly confirm the same.

                                      hi i have buyed new sony w580i on dec24 2008 but iam facing the ear piece problem thats is i cant hear loudly on otherside...the sound i can hear is toooooo long iam not getting the solution if anyone knows the soulution plz help me out ...thanks in advance

                                        my brother mr mohan working in qatar abroad purchased this mobile and given to me when he come in kerala on june 1st 2006
                                        the complaint of this mobile is flip strip and base of strip ( up and down) damaged and display will be white other wise like striked display. first time i will be repaired free of cost from authorized service centre in ahmedabad, again now the same complaint in mobile
