[Resolved]  Tata DoCoMo Broadband — THE WORST SERVICE EVER

This is to bring it to your kind notice, about the service I am been offered by TATA DOCOMO. I took this connection a month ago since then I have been having weirdest nightmare. Let me start from the beginning, I had the sales person come to my property & explain the tariff details which is the only happy part. After me signing for a new connection I had to wait for two solid weeks to get my connection installed. Between the two weeks time I went through a complete turmoil and chaotic situation, which I have no words to describe. I did call several sales person from Tata the ridiculous DOCOMO but none responded. I was given false promise for each and every thing for example, within three days I will have the connection which I did not receive. I had to take 4 DAYS of leave as I was informed that the engineer can come at any time. I should definitely share about this interestingly weirdest creature <Krishna Kumar.[protected]@tatatel.co.in> who happens to be a team lead for the sale representatives. I would have called him 100 times, every single call he either disconnected, did not answer or switched of his phone. Finally after messaging Mr Krishna Kumar that I would be taking it to the consumer court, I got a call from another sales team lead whom I don't remember, being spoken to dozens of people from Tata the ridiculous DOCOMO. He tried convincing me for another day which was diabolic, after I explained my situation he felt really bad and I was sent an engineer the same day not to forget after 2 weeks for follow up, miserable time.

Once it was installed, I had a sales representative call me to confirm the email address which was fed incorrect. It took nearly 15 mins to make him understand the alphabets, poor kid had an Hinglish accent which I couldn't understand. I thought it was over but I got a mail last week saying that my connection will be disconnected since I was not available at my property for a address validation. It happens to be a lie since I was on leave for a week were none turned up. I remember to sales representative saying 7th of every month my bill will be generated. This is favourite part I login to my yahoo account to find out my Tata the ridiculous DOCOMO's account number. I was not sent with any information that I am with Tata the ridiculous DOCOMO. So I call Mr Krishna and explain him the situation, he pretended as if he couldn't hear anything and disconnected my call(no wonder). I kept calling him over and over again he did what he does. I am left in cross roads with no solution to find out my account number and make a payment.

i. As a customer I was not informed of anything, anything, anything at all. ( No Keeping the customer informed was followed)
ii. Call centre agents can hardly understand English (not everyone speaks Hindi)
iii. No proper contact during the installation.
iv. False promise given to customers
v. No proper procedure followed till the details sent to customer.

If you ask me we all(TATA) pay for a service that provides absolutely nothing. Please don't be fooled by the initial marketing strategy and end up with losers.

Tata Braodband — Worst Services

Dear all,

I am using tata broadband services. the services are very very poor. their service enginer and local staff who are handling the complaints at my end are very unprofessional. Their call center is worst, they dont know anything and every time i register a complaint, if you call next day they will say the complaint is resolved and from our end your net is working.

If any one is planning to opt for tata broadband connection, i request you to don't go for it. I never accept such services from the brand name TATA. its same for Mr. Ratan Tata who is providing such a bad serives under the very very prestigious business group TATA.

I agree with You completely, its 4 years I am using their braodband, their staff is useless, th ecustomer care no. is a waste of time, they don't attend to complaints. their is lot of harassment.
Horrible and Pathetic services I have seen.
It happened such that, I shifted my connection from electronic city to JP Nagar 3rd phase. But the person who stayed earlier there also had Tata broadband connection. So the guys removed his antenna and fixed a new antenna for my use and asked me to keep the guy's antenna and they would be taking it later.
Yesterday when I went to my house in the evening, I was shocked to see that my fixed antenna and cable were missing and they had used the open window to take the cable out thinking that the antenna belonged to the earlier person who stayed there. the junction box had fallen down and luckily the TFT screen was intact.
When I called up the customer service the complaint taken was that my antenna is stolen which I never told and they had closed the complaint even without informing me stating that I have to pay 7000 Rs to get new antenna. This is the kind of service which we get.
I advice to everyone please please do not go with tata broadband. Horrible guys they are. They attend to your phone calls sincerely but same issues occur time and again. They always resolve issues temporarily. The connection and speed is also not that good. I made a blunder taking tata broadband.

tata docomo is the WORST INTERNET SERVICE IN THE WORLD. Internet business is like a car park business. if there is bandwidth for 1000 cars, TATA will sell 100, 000 car spaces. they dont care about speed nor even bother to open up another bandwidth.


the customer service is a bunch of brainless


AND TATA LIED. THEY PROMISE RECTIFICATION WITHIN 24 HRS. but there are NO WORKING ENGINEERS ON SUNDAY. tata engineers confess that to me


and alot of their hubs are routed thru people house where once in a while these houses either have power failure or cut off or they will shut it off to conserve power when they are on holidays


how to know they have oversell their bandwidth. simpel every time comes to public holiday weekend it is super slow or worst of all down.


in no part of the entire world i have ever come across a message "The internet is busy pls try again later"
