[Resolved]  Tata Docomo — Issues with Surrender of connection

I had Tata Photon number. I requested to surrender it in the beginning of August. They asked me reason and I told them I am going out of India and do not need it. They suggested that I give it to someone else and I told them that I have asked people and no one is interested. They said that after 15 days they will deactivate it. I got so many calls asking the reason and me explaining the same thing again and again. Now I have got a safe custody sms on my mobile. I asked the agent and he said I requested for it. I donot know what it means but I have simply requested for the disconnection. Why getting the tata photon surrendered is such a huge hassle. I donot want any bill landing in my mailbox . The billing etc should be stopped immediately when i requested for the surrender. I need the confirmation that number is deactivated and all bills are cleared. This is cheating customers and forcing them to pay when they donot need your services. THIS IS BAD and very FRUSTRATING SERVICE. My tata photon number is :[protected] Manisha

Dear Tata DOCOMO,

I am still getting calls from different departments but my request of disconnection ( logged on 13th August) is still not addressed.
I have got the bill for the month of August. Why should I pay when I requested for the disconnection and not used the photon anyway.
I am NOT going to pay for the period after 13th August.

Your help will be appreciated.
