I have a complaint regarding my Tata docomo service. On 1st October 2013. I rechaged my number [protected] with 18rs offer was for 150Mb 3g data.On 3rd October I used this sim on my tablet, which at that time had 118mb data remaining and main balance of 488 rs . After half an hour of browsing, when I checked there was a data balance of 17 Mb but my main balance was reduced to 17rs. When I called their customer care they told me it was because of some thing called "multiple session "browsing, in this if two tabs are open the first tab will use the data from the 3g balance and the second one will be charged from my main balance. The customer care guys are refusing to register even a complaint. Can you guys help me with my problem.

    I'm a Tata Docomo GSM Prepaid customer, I've activated caller tune for a monthly rental of Rs.30/- and song selection charge of Rs.15/- I've activated this service for hearing my favorite songs to my callers, but now the complaint is the service provider are playing their Advertisement before my Caller Tune. Its (promo) approximate length is 7 secs. I want to stop this promo before my caller tune. I've complained regarding this in the customer care (121) but the are saying that its the rule of TRAI. As a customer am paying the rent for hearing the song, not to hear the promo of the service provider. So please help me to deactivate this promo from my caller tune. my number is [protected],

    [protected], the number is very much accessible and all you need to do is remove the "Promo code" which is before the caller tune. I want you to remove the "To copy this callertune press ... and monthly charges apply" stupid ad for heaven's sake. Song is hardly played.
    Rubbish customer care. You guys need 10 years to solve a simple issue.

    I activated caller tune on my tata docomo paying Rs 30 for one month and Rs 20 for each song download. Now i am getting a promotional ad before my caller tune starts. i am not paying Rs 56 for tata docomos promotion... when i call the customer care department a person named Mr Anil spoke so rude to me and he is asking me to talk to TRAI for this small issue...
    Can anyone solve this tiny issue (tata docomo is crap - No 3G service, no network all the time all ).

      Hi, I have activated my 3G 499rs plan on 2 oct 2013, same day night they activated 2g plan and dedicated 31 rs from my account. when i call to customer care no response from anybody. Its not 1st time it happened to me several times. TATA DOCOMO is cheating us. Please take proper action against the company.

      This is Devaraj V my mobile number is [protected]. I am not satisfied with customer care. Your Tata docomo prepaid customer care worst customer care in india, i am going to consumer court for this issue. Nobody rectify my problem in your customer care. I had informed to connect seniour executive, i waiting more than 55 minuts to speak with seniour, ther are not connected seniour executive, i am worry about this, now i am going to consumer court. And i will put the case against to Tata docomo.

      I have recharged on 5th may of Rs. 201/- for 3G Data with 2GB 30 days validity, after recharged 250 MB only i got the 3G data. As tata docomo message within 48 hrs will be credited further data, but its 48 hrs exceeded its not credited to my account. Please check it below mentioned details and kindly do the needfull

      Even I have recharged with rs.201 for 2GB data for 30 days but I too didn't got more than 250MB and it exceeded more than 48 hours. There customer care facility is useless. No One is taking action for this problem.Its ridiculous even I am complaining to the customer court for this issue.

      I got an offer that for rs201 get 2gb 3g data for 30 days and extra benefit will be credited within 48hrs and so i done this recharge on may 5th and waited for 48 hrs but still after that the data was not credited so i called your cutomer care and then they replied that it will be resolved by tomorrow but still after 5 days the problem is not solved and now when i am calling your customer care it is always busy.And so raised a complaint in tata docomos website but the complaint was closed without any reply.so either they have to refund my money or should be rectified with correct validity .

        Hello, My name is Santosh and my number is [protected] I got this number from my relative.He said that he'd get the sim card registered and thus gave me the sim. But now the dealer says the sim can't be registered.So I thought of getting it registered afresh.But the main problem is that thinking my sim would be registered I used a security password on it and my sister happened to enter the code thrice and now the card is blocked.MY SIM IS NOT YET REGISTERED AND MY CARD IS BLOCKED.So please tell me where do I have to register this sim card afresh and then unblock it.           I purchased a Tata Photon 3G connection ( number.-[protected], Account no[protected] on 13th Mar 2013 under 5GB @ Rs.2500 quarterly annual rental plan initially. I got the connection disconnected 14th Aug 2013. Afterwards I received a bill of Rs.57( bill no -- [protected]) on 27th Aug on which I asked the customer care representative via email that if it is the full and final bill and I will not have to pay anything after that, the representative confirmed it as the full and final settlement bill (via email), which I then paid on 6th Sep.

          Suddenly on 26th Sep Tata Photon dispatched a bill of Rs.890 ( bill no -- [protected]) mentioning that as I have disconnected the connection before six months, I have to pay a churn out fee. Let me re-iterate that when I was purchasing the connection, the shopkeeper did not mention any churn out fee clause, also the pamphlets that were given to me did not contain any such *T&C. In addition to this, when I was disconnecting the connection the customer care representative never mentioned about any churn out fee associated with it even when I kept on asking them for any additional fees for disconnection during several interactions via phone and email. Also as mentioned above, Rs.57 was told to me as the F&F bill by the representative of Tata Photon via email.

          This is very unprofessional & shocking behavior by Tata Photon and it shows a lack of transparency in their dealings. It also shows how its representatives are hiding facts and misguiding the customer in order to extort additional money. I would request Tata Photon team look into this issue.

            Hi, I am well aware of Tata Docomo Netowrk problems. But I was working for me upto certain level so I didn't bother to lodge a complaint. But today I am so frustrated because of this problem. I & all my colleagues are not getting network at all since today morning. All my activities are stuck because of this pathetic network problem. Can anyone please tell me when this problem will get resolved or should I switch to another service provider?

            I am also facing a problem of getting charged at 1.3p/s saying that its increased call rate. But on your website, you still declare that you charge at 1p/s. I didn't get a message regarding increased in call rates. On top of that my friends are still getting charged at 1p/s without any rate cutter plan. May I know the reason?

              Dear TATA DOCOMO, A/c no.[protected], Mobile no.- [protected]. In response to http://www.consumercomplaints.in/complaints/tata-photon-3g-churn-out-fees-c83222... This is to clarify that I wasn't told about the 'Churn-out' fees by the shop keeper at the time of purchase nor by your representative in customer care while disconnection. You may confirm that through the recording of the conversation I had with your representative. All your representative had to do is to tell me to disconnect your service by the end of month and not the beginning to avoid your 'churn-out' rules without paying anything extra. I clarified this when I recieved the first reminder and it was later confirmed to me by your representative on phone that the churn-out fees had been waived off. Despite requesting a confirmation mail about the amount waived off, it wasn't sent me though I was assured. This can also be confirmed from the recordings. I would had done the recordings myself, had I known about your careless management that I'm still stuck with the issue. Again I'm receiving reminders for 'outstanding bill' of Rs 1834 (not mentioned as churn-out fees) now. I hope you would look into it sincerely for once at least as I don't know if all this merely a coincidence or heights of insincerity. Sincerely, Vinay

                I got my no [protected] recharged with RS 499 on 26/09/2013. In which as per plan I should get RS 500 as main balance and 2GB 3G data. But on 30/09/2013 I came to know that my a/c balance was NIL.
                I talked to customer care they replied that a charge of RS 474 was deducted from my a/c due to internet browsing.
                As I am having 2 GB data free as per plan so I am unable to understand why the main balance was deducted.
                They are saying that I consumed all 2 GB 3G data and above that I used internet costing RS 474 and this all within 3-4 days. What I am getting is may be they didnt credit my a/c with free DATA.
                They are just befooling me and not giving me proper answers.

                PLEASE HELP ME OUT.

On 17 agust 2011 on unsubcrise services of magic sms known from customer care but sir no any message about magic sms meet me so there is non chance to replying this but i am enquired about this to customer care they reply not satisfactory answer so one side your company addbertised about non unwanted deduction and other side deducted balance so this is cheeting of custmer what is this justice. So me not meet any sms and i am not subcrised any service so refund my balance and stop to cheeting customer.

                    Dear sir/ Madam, It seems twice happen with me, actually i am using TATADOCOMO no. which is [protected] earlier couple of week tata docomo customer care has deducted my mail account amount of approx Rs.80/- and i have given complain to tatadocomo consumer care but after several time calling there was no response after two days continue calls at last somebody has picked my call i have inform that "why my amount has deducted but they have give very silly answer and ask me to login tour complain in tatadocomo and disconnected, again just yesterday i have again recharge my mobile of Rs. 50/- after one call when i saw my account it was again deducted approx Rs. 40/- again i have called to costumer care it happen with me the same thing please do something for it and save my money. kindly refund my money .                       my tata docomo number is [protected]. zip code is 627809 alternate number is [protected] my state is tamil nadu city is tenkasi today (38.92013) i tried to activate rs.5 gprs pack by dialing *141# at 7.31 pm but it didnt get activate in next 30 minutes so i decided to recharge my number with rs.31 which provides 300mb data and i got 300mb data at 8.30 pm but suddenly around 8:51 pm i got a message that stating rs.5 gprs pack has been activated and i just have 25mb data...what the hell???? i spend rs.5+31 for just 25mb???? please refund my amount...i have been a loyal customer to docomo but now i am shattered

                        Dear Consumer court,

                        I am Naveen with Number [protected] resides in mumbai have issues with My Network provider Tatadocomo, as i requested to activate my 399 plan, but they themselves activated 899 plan, i checked my bill [protected] and informed customer care people about it and the guy told me that company will revert the excess given money which doesnt happend. and the same is repeated in the next month bil [protected] and after explaining 35 minutes suddenly call disconnected and again i called the Customer care regarding the same and the guy started asking about the issue i told him to check the same which is already updated in History.After checking he Mr Kunjan started Speaking Seriously and warned me not to repeat the story again ..i was shocked with this and asked for a solution .He gave a complaint number for the same.I dont understand why Customer care people behaving rude and They dont know to speak english .

                          I am using Tata Docomo post-paid connection (899 unlimited plan) from past 4 months. My docomo mobile no. is [protected]. I am regularly paying my bill on time.

                          Now my they blocked my number saying that “We have observed a commercial usage pattern on this number. This is not allowed as per the plan commitment hence services will be restricted.”

                          I am using my mobile number for personal use not for commercial purpose. As per my uses I took the unlimited calling plan and I used to call/sms only to my family and friend circle.

                          When I called to customer care everyone is providing different stories which they are not intimated in the time of taking this service. Finally I just contact to Tata Docomo outlet jayanagar 9th block, Bangalore and given the written application.

                          I logged complain to customer care, my complain number is[protected]. They told my service will resume in 4 hours. Also I sent the mail to [protected]@tatadocomo.com

                          Still I unable to make outgoing call from my mobile, please help

                          This is with regard to the SIM from tata docomo[protected]. Recently my wife wanted to use the phone as I am currently out of station. She re-charged the phone (both Talk Time n Data). But this recharge didn't last more than a test call she did for confirming the recharge.

                          All of sudden without any notification the service was disconnected. She tried her best to contact the customer care, which was next impossible to talk to any. One of the customer care informed that we needed to submit the document again as their verification shows negative. As she is carrying now, and there is no Tata docomo office nearby, she asked if they can accept the scanned copy. The customer care said that its fine and we sent them scanned copy of photo as well as address proof (for both o[censored]s). But the service is still not active. All the customer care she spoke either didn't know what they were talking (giving different version) and bit arrogant too. Some even did not know that what is Data recharge used for.

                          Already almost a week is gone after the re-charge without any service being rendered. This simply shows the pathetic service who do not even bother to talk to their own customers.

                          Is there anyone from Tata docomo to look into the issue?
                          With Reference to the above assurance from the Tata docomo I would like to inform I have not got any call from the tata docomo and in addition to it my incoming calls are barred.
                          I am seriously wondering is there someone really looking into the complaint?

                          Nice to reply from Tata Docomo Customer Care. However, I am very surprised about the statements written. I have said it clearly that the connection was not used and there had been numerous calls made to customer care to resolve the issue. All gave contradictory statements. If the connection can not be re-established, can't it be conveyed to the customer rather than bluntly disconnecting it without giving any notice.

                          Also, the re-charge was done this month for both talk time and data. If we need to take new connection what happens to the money we spent? Is this how Tatas (and rest of the companies) work to make profit ? Our media projects only when government entities make corruption because they don't project all these lapses in private corporates which is nothing less than corruption.

                          None from customer care contacted us with regard to this, shows how much they care for their own customers. They have our email addresses.

                          I am also facing the same problem as Ravi ranjan mentioned above.

                            I took postpaid Tata Photon connection in the month of June-2013.I submitted my Bank Statement and Pan Card as address proof and photo id.resp. They had very pleasing behavior while selling the Dongle. When I plugged it in my Laptop in residence there were no network. When I complained them.Two days after lodging complain they said frquency upgradation (VISA UPGRADATION) work has been going on and it will resolve with in weeks.Then I requested to stopped the service till the upgradation work finished. After 3 months (on 4 September 2013) when I contacted them, they restarted the service but nothing has been solved till then. I again stated the condition of no network but now their real face has come. They now not responding to me. My point is if they had knew it that there is severe frequency problems in my area why they sold the device to me (as they awared about my address as its on adress proof). I haven't use that single day this month, i, e 4 September onwards, but they have generated a bill of Rs. 576/- to my photon no:[protected]. now they are not picking my call and its not possible for me to visit everyday for this reason. Please I want my money refund of the dongle, and from where they have generated the bill of Rs.576/- for the current month though I havent used it single time.

                              I have tried to recharge the docomo sim card of my mobile for Rs.57 online. But instead of recharging it, they deducted my completed and also did not did the recharge of the mobile. Also many times they deduct many amounts from the mobile without intimating the customer. Hence when i tried to contact the customer service centre, then the customer care people do not reply and speak with every customers in a very abused manner.

                                  Hi this is Rajendra, I am using the data docomo sim (Mobile NO is [protected]) for last 4 months, from past one and half month frequently deducted the money for the usage of data, I dint understand without browsing how can u charge the money, at least i don't have internet or gprs profiles to connect the internet,
                                  one week back i called to customer care regarding this problem, they told me sir you are browsing the internet so we deducted the money, just think i am using using samsung c3322 model, is there any one want to browse internet from this handset, and also they gave me wonderful suggestion, send SMS CAN GRPS to 121. I tried to send this message several times, but no reply from your side, I am asking one question is there any chance to connect to internet without having internet profiles in the mobile, if it possible why are you sending the internet or gprs settings to hand set every time inserting the sim into the mobile?. First I take this problem as simple, now I don't bare it. please rectify the problem as soon as possible. other wise i will think alternate source.

                                    On 24 Sept I got a call from Tata customer care telling me my phone no [protected] had won a lottery worth Rs. fifteen lakh all i had to do was to give them my bank account no. by then my balance was zero i had to recharge with Rs. 100/- they called again and asked me to call them back and that they will give a code no which i had to write down. again my balance was zero again 100/-Rs. recharge. i called them they gave me a code number. they told me to switch off my phone till the next morning and to switch it on at 9.30 AM.and call them. i called them at 9.3. AM. the person was taking his own sweet time exclaiming again and again you have won FIFTEEN LAKH Rs. while my balance was decreasing he kept me listening to him. then at the end of it he said i would have to deposit 16 thousand Rs. in a Pujab Bank where he would direct me. i realized too late that this was a masterminded scam to get money out of TATA DOCOMO users. I wish to bring this shameless scamming on the part of TATA DOCOMO. i had earlier complained about their harassment by calling me with their extra services at any time of the day or night now a days i get 14 promotional messages and 5 promotional calls from them every day i am going mad. Is there any way to get out of this harassment i am terribly disturbed during the day and night with their calls and scamming me with this Lottery scam is the limit. Tata Docomo owned by Ratan Tata ! how cheap and low down tricks they play on ignorant users I expect some action against this scam and harassment kindly help me please i don't know what to do. shall i change over to another SIM card from other companies?

                                      This is to bring to your notice that I am being continually HARASSED and THREATENED by calls regarding a billing dispute with TATA DOCOMO from whom I had taken an internet dongle [number [protected]]. After a few months o[censored]sing it, I had pointed out that TATA DOCOMO had overbilled me and had asked for details of the so-called use. The company did not respond. Now, people using mobile number [protected] are continually calling up and threatening me. They are claiming that they are "SOOCHNA ADHIKARI" from Tis Hazari court and threatening that a non-bailable warrant is being issued in my name if I do not contact Lawyer Saurabh Garg whose phone number [protected] and settle the matter by paying them money. I have recordings of these conversations which I am going to send to you shortly. I also propose to upload these recordings on social media. My questions are: [1] Does any Government employee use a mobile number to communicate like this with a customer? [2] Under what authority can a TATA DOCOMO agent call himself a "SOOCHNA ADHIKARI" and pose as a COURT OFFICIAL????                                         respected sir or mam, i recharged my docomo no. [protected] on 3 days ago by 51 rupees for decrease call value . before recharge i asked ur customer care representative about this he ddnt give me full info about it. because of this pack my lifetime pack of masg has been deactivated. nowadays 2rs daily deducted from my cell for first 2 messages than 18 are free. but from 3 years since docomo started in rajathan only 1 rs deducted for 1st message and 99 are given free till i recharged with 51 pack. i am really depressed by ur plan changes. i want only is that my lifetime sms pack will activated soon for which i will pay whatever it costs. help me please
