[Resolved]  Tata Sky — 2nd Time False advertising and wrongly selling product

I received the letter from Tata sky dated 17 Dec 2012 on 25 of December 2012.

Its says that they are expanding the network and may soon have space allotted on an additional satellite. With the successful launch of GSAT 10 satellite , Tata Sky is going for several new channels as and when the space on the satellite is allotted to Tata Sky.

On time of installation of Tata Sky HD Plus I had opted for Splitter as I had concealed wiring. The installer said that it is ok as the signal strength is good and we can continue with is and later when you do the house work you can get the new wiring installed.

Due to the splitter the new channels added in the new satellite, I won’t be able to view unless the set top box is directly connected wired to the dish antenna / our network without splitter.

In the letter Tata sky is stating that if I want to avail the complimentary upgrade of installing the additional wire which is free with every HD set top box, I have to get it installed before 31 Dec 2012. Post 31 Dec 2012 charges may vary from Rs 600 to Rs 2500 depending on the equipment.

I agree with the new Satellite connection but fail to understand how can I get the work of concealed wiring done in 3 to 4 days. On buying they say, I being the premium customer can get the wiring done later when the house is getting renovated.

I disagree with this letter and would ask Tata Sky higher Management take part in the vigorous decision taken with such short notice.

Tata Sky — product not installed

i'm presently staying in ahmednagar maharashtra. i showd some interset in purchasing the tata sky digital tv. so i called up on there customer care number. there they told me that the service engineer will come home with the product n install the same within 24 hours.i waited for 3 days n then called them again.then they told me that my request of installation was never filed so i filed another request still there was no response. thinking that tata sky is a very trusted company who take care of their customers very well, i went to a dealer n bought tatasky. the dealer told us that a service engineer will come n install the product within 24 hours. now here i am spent so much money in buying the product which is lying in my store still waiting for the service engineer who hasnt come yet to install it. i dont know what to do now. i made a big mistake of buyin TATA SKY instead i should have bought dish tv or airtel. i'm sure they would have been better in their sevices. looking forward for sggestion from you. hope it'll help solve the problem

tata sky + — not getting product on time

i have ordered tata sky + on 20.10.2009 we have not got any feeddback after the date of order, its my request to send feedback of my queries regarding it.

Where did you purchase your STB from was it from a local dealer or an authorized store? It seems that you have made an order during the offer period to avail the offer, good move taken there. Do you have a recipt no. of your order. If yes then contact the CC send your details of purchase and they will look into the matter thoroughly for the reason of non-delivery.
iam FSC from rayalaseema area.tataky to bad service our area.boz here ISP's not giving money to FSC's.we belive tataky company but we are missing our job.

TataSky — Text Advertise on other channels

To TataSky,
My subscriber ID is [protected]. You have started showing Text advertise of new channels over the other channels which is very irritating.
Please stop showing your advertise on standard channels for which we have paid. If you want to inform the users you can show it on Showcase or when user put on the TataSky.
If you keep showing such advertise, there is no point to continue your services.

Please follow good practices and improve user experience.
