Ref: Work Order # 1-[protected] I would like to draw your attention to the work order specified above and the email below, sent earlier in the month of Aug 2013. My newly purchased HD box developed an issue just after 2 months of purchase and I was given an old, refurbished and CRAPPY box stating policy reasons for not replacing the new box with a new box under warranty. My service was completely down for 4 days and the swap box was installed after a lot of follow-ups on call and emails to which there was no response from Tata Sky. Now, just after 10 days of installing that swap box, the box developed a problem and it does not switch on at all. A technician came and verified this to be an issue with the box and said that a new box will be installed by evening of the same day (30th Aug.). Since then, I have not heard from Tata Sky and I’m left with no service at all. Multiple calls to the customer service simply results in false commitments which never get fulfilled. If this is the way a Premium Customer with at least 5 year association with Tata Sky is treated, I can imagine the level of customer harassment that regular customers would have to go through in case a fault is to be addressed. Tata Sky in my opinion is grossly irresponsible and unreliable. I’m extremely frustrated with the services provided by Tata Sky and would like to get my connection terminated right away. Needs warranty replacement. I reported this problem to Tata Sky on 14th Aug and till now 2 technicians have visited and checked the entire system. The fault was identified with the HD Set Top box and the resolution was a box replacement. Till date (20th Aug) I have made at least 7 calls to Tata Sky Customer Care and written 2 email through the web portal (SR[protected], SR[protected] for which there is no response. When I called up Tata Sky customer care on 19th Aug to check about the status, I was told that the field technician had FALSELY CLOSED the work order stating a reason of Address Mismatch. The fact is that my address has never changed since I took this connection 5 years ago. The most irritating part of this is whenever I call customer care, they open a new request for the call without even thinking for a minute and this makes the entire history of the problem get lost. I would like to tell Tata Sky to STOP HARASSING GENUINE OLD CUSTOMERS and replace my faulty equipment IMMEDIATELY. If this is not addressed in the next 1 day, I’ll be forced to DISCONNECT my subscription and move on to a more reliable DTH provider. ____________________________ Ashish Mathur ____________________________

    I am a TATA SKY customer from 3+ years. From last month, I am facing NO signal problem, contacted Live chat so many times, their number is Invalid number. The Support people say the concerned team will get in touch with me. They did, then asked for additional 650 rs, I asked the Support agent to waive off the money for the unused period, but did not accepted.Hence, I requested for cancellation and requested refund. They called me and very bluntly/Unprofessional said they cannot process my refund and I have to let the money go. I want my money back and plus additional for the inconvenience and harassment I went through.

    I had a call conversation with them. But, they are not listening to me. I told them, I do not want the subscription just refund my money. But, they say no such policy of refund is their. You have to get the Set Top Box re-installed and use the account for the remaining period.
    i am a user of tata sky . i have Recharged in jan 2015 for HD channels of 1500rs annual package . and they remove my service in April 2015 . my rest all channels are smooth but i dont have any HD channels coming i tried calling them at thier customer care no. i have been on hold for 30 mins for several times atlast a executive pick up my call and they say u will recive a call in a hour . and your problem will be solved but i dont recive any call nor they respond to any of my call . they fraud me . took my money and have no service .

      Consumer No: [protected] Refer : 1-[protected] date[protected] & 1-[protected] dated[protected] This is to bring to your kind attention that I had made a complaint regarding the non-functioning of my Tata Sky connection on the 19th of this month. Now today is the 09 th day without rectifying the complaint First when I called on the 19th, the concerned person said he has scheduled the visit of the technician for 02.00pm the same day. Since the technician didn't turn up on that day and the next day, I again made a complaint on 21st. While this was made, the help desk asked me whether I am making the complaint for the 1st time. So that means the earlier complain made on 19th was not even registered. Again the help desk said that they will schedule the technician visit after talking to the concerned and make it happen they day itself before 05.00pm. Till now, today is 28th August, 11.30am it has not been solved inspire of making repeated calls on 24th, 26th, 27th & today. Kindly advice me on how to go abt and also for the amount lost for the past 9 days because o[censored] r lack of support and rectification.         Dear Sir/Madam, Since the last one month I have not been receiving 95-98% of the TATA SKY TV channels .Althouh I have lodged several telephonic complaints to the helpline numbers like[protected] and[protected],I have been given several false assurances that they would come to my residence on Saturdays /Sundays since I gave my preference of being at home on these days being my weekly off days . I was promised several times for the last one month that they would take immediate remedial action but nothing was done so far .Finally I got a call on 25 August at 5:30 pm asking if I wanted a remote control .These TATA SKY helpline staff can be so sadistic in asking such absurd questions when they full well know the real situation that I have not been receiving 98% of the channels since the last one month. Each time I made call after the first complaint I was asked all silly questions as to what was my problem when they full well know my problem .They neither give me the technical team contact numbers nor do they show any kind of seriousness about such matters . I am therefore requesting you to take immediate action into this matter and ensure that I also get my refund for 1 and 1/2 month charges . Thanking you. Mark Khongmen.         TataSky — tata sky exploits consumers

        Tata sky never have any ethics. it increases the package cost of rd 300 to 310 and removes sports packages and boasts of decreasing the cost. The famous characteristic tata 's infamous tact ticks with hidden charges.

        Hi, this is with reference to the complaint no. HF1FZ43.. Subscriber id:[protected] Name: Anilkumar Sarda. we are not able to see Tata Sky since last 10 days.the complaint has been filed still there is no action taken by the concerned team.its just that they call every time and say they are visiting n resolving issue but no action has been taken yet. at the time of purchasing you ppl make big promises about the service n all and when customer actually needs service nothing is been taken care.very disappointing response from Tata Sky operational Team. I would like to say customers that Tata Sky never meets the promises they do..poor at signal and services..please switch to some other DTH as these ppl only wants to increase the no. of connections without providing services..shame on entire Tata Sky team as they don't consider customers issues and give priority.. Hope I get a resolution in 1 working day for my concern as my connection is being closed since 10'days n if not be prepared for the worst action to be taken against you!!

          I had put in two requests,one for deinstallation at Nepean Sea Road and secondly relocation at Marine Lines.I have made at least 20 calls and spoken to a diff person each and every time and explained the issue over and over again to each and every person who attended the call.I managed to get a request registered for sending the technician for deinstallation and promptly I would receive an SMS for Informing me that within 24 hours my request would be attended then I also receive another SMS informing me the time the technician would be coming.This happened at least five times but no one ever turned up and every time I would inquire as to why nobody turned up they would reply that there was some technical problem.I think they all are a bunch of jokers trying to operate some kind of super inefficient system.Most of them do not understand the problem and repeat like parrots that they are extremely sorry for the inconvenience and they would look into the matter.One lady even had the audacity to tell me that where I have waited so long one more day of waiting should be okay!!!.My problem stands where it is and till date they keep saying sorry but nobody ever does anything and they are going to Charge Me For This Mental Harrasment too!I don't know what higher authority to complain to but I'm ashamed that the reputed "TATA" name is associated to this kind of foolhardy!!

All I had to do is submit my subscriber ID. The customer service team instantly gave a callback and my account was activated. I suggest you too should provide your subscriber ID either here or tweet regarding your issue with this complaint link. I am sure they will look into your matter and expedite de-installation and relocation requests.

            I MD. MUKHLISUR RAHMAN a subscriber of Tata Sky [ID [protected]] for the last 5 years has a grievance against tata sky services for injustice done to me is mentioned below for redressal:


            That my television started showing trouble i.e. no signal for all channels on 07/08/2013
            That I registered a complaint on 07/08/2013 to the tatasky helpline no.[protected]
            That the official from helpline promised me for repair in 24 hours. He also promised me to receive a telephone call from local town Purnea. A call reached me on 08/082013 with few words- what is the trouble with your tatasky? Without getting my response, no further talk or or service upto 14th August 2013 from Tata sky was for me.
            That the service charge is cut from my tatasky account no [[protected]] two times on 10/08/2013 & 12/08/2013 respectively that’s injustice done to me without any service.
            That i received only one service from the end of Tatasky on 14/08/2013.whenever I talk to the helpline officials for redressal they apprise me with status only.
            That I now urge Tata sky authorities for resolving my grievance to my satisfaction so that I should not have any grudge against Tata sky. With a hope of redressal.

                  I am unable to view my tata sky connection as it show channel for 10 mins & then it stop working. As tata sky had updated platform from MPEG-2 to MPEG-4 my existing service is not working since after 1st of august, my service id is [protected]. I had complained many times to customer care but complain is closed without any resolution. Also your customer care & local Technician is asking about illegally amount Rs 500 for replacement of set top box. As it is not customers fault or request for platform update. if company is doing any update at their end the end customer must not be effected. My connection had completed 5 years in july 2013. Currently my tata sky services are not working. below are complain numbers closed without resolution.                   I had already made several complains mention as above in my post. Tata sky is unable to provide solution. Now as tata group is in losses they had started cheating & looting customer like anything.

                      Subscriber Id - [protected] I had purchased a HD set top box as my secondary connection in June 2013 and it turned out to be faulty. I raised a workorder for getting the problem diagnosed and the same was identified by 2 technicians as a fault of the set top box and suggested getting the box replaced. I had to raise another work order for the same on 19th Aug 2013 (WO: 1-[protected]) but the same was FALSELY CLOSED by the field technicians stating an absured reason of "Address Mismatch" whereas the fact is that my address has never changed. No one called/contacted me from Tata Sky to inform that my workorder is being cancelled. I raised a new work order on 19th Aug again for the same issue (WO: 1-[protected]) but no one has contacted me from Tata Sky. I called up the customer care and asked to be connected to a Supervisor but was put on an endless hold for about 7 mins after which the call disconnected. I would like to tell Tata Sky to STOP HARASSING genuine customers and resolve the issue IMMEDIATELY.

                        During the month of September 2012, I had some problem in
                        viewing my tv. So, I called up tata sky customer support and asked a service
                        vist to my place. Before the tata sky person came to check the problem, the
                        service centre updated your data base with a new set top box no
                        “[protected]”. During the mean while I got my tata sky box checked from a
                        different place and there it was working fine. So I was sure that there was
                        a problem in my connection. When the person from tinsukia center came, he
                        said he is going to replace set top box even though my set top box was
                        working well. I asked him to check the cable connection. After he did that
                        still the tv did not come as the set top box number in your data base and
                        the one I am using current are different. He said that he is still going to
                        replace the box as in the database a new set top box has been assigned to
                        me. I did not allow him to do so because I was sure that my tata sky box
                        was well but the real problem in viewing my tv was that the connection of
                        the cable to the dish was loose. After this I once again called your
                        customer support and explained my problem. They said they will solve it.
                        After a lot of trouble my tv started working after a week.

                        In the statement of September 2012, Statement Number:[protected] on 21st sep
                        a sum of Rs 225 had been debited on the name of “Hdlg Chrgs of STD Swap
                        box”.

                        I want you to look in this matter and do the needful.

                        • I have attached statement for the month of September 12.
                        • A photo of the set top box showing the digicom no. which I am using now
                        • A photo of the receipt showing the digicom no. along with the card
                        number when I purchased .



                        In view of above, please look into the matter and do the needful.

                          REquest for replacing a faulty HD set top box is on hold from last one week. Called the customer care service multiple time but the response got from the team was pathetic. No one unserstand the urgency of the issue and care about customer satisfaction.

                              i come under the subsidy scheme and ialready submitted all the relative document for the same, but the bank isadding all the interest and does not providing me the subsidy over there, and does not giving the proper information regarding the subsidy ,,
                              so plz help me that i can pay the rest proper amount...i already paid 195000 till date..

                              and kindly take it siriously and solve the matter and contact the branch for the same ...

                                My tata sky id is [protected]
                                Tata sky - i have given request to tata sky for universal remote because my tata sky remote is not working from 10 aug 2013.
                                I give request on date 11 august the tata sky representative told me that you will receive remote on 12 aug 2013 till 11.30am. he send me conformation massage as follows
                                “ your work order reference number is :1-[protected] you will receive call from us within 24hrs.” in fact till today neither i received a call nor any remote.”
                                Again i call on 12 aug 2013 and speak with senior officer he told me tha you will receive remote today (12-aug-2013) till 6.00pm.
                                On the 13 august 2013 morning, when i call to tata sky they again changed schedule time and request me to wait till 1.30 of 13aug.
                                At the evening of 13 aug one senior officer told me that next day i personally take your issue and solve it. he request me to wait till 1.15pm of 14 aug. again i received the sms on my registered mobile no as follows
                                “ your work order reference number is :1-[protected] you will receive call from us within 24hrs.” and tata sky wo 1-[protected] scheduled on 14 aug 2013 -17.00
                                Same as above i am calling daily to tata sky but till today i have not received my remote.
                                Yesterday at about 4.00pm i speak with tata sky (neekita madam) i request her please transfer my call to senior. because she told me that you have given request today wait till tomorrow. it was shocking for me because i have requested on 11 aug. she don’t understand and disconnect my call. (tata sky can check call record). i fill very bad. again at same time i call to tata sky i don’t know his name but he told me that:” मुझे ये बताया गया है कि आज आपका मोबाईल नॉट रिचेबल था “ in fact my mobile is 24 hrs reachable i gave him another number. till today 16 august 2013 i have not received remote.
                                The very bad experience with tata sky. if you are unable to provide me remote. please took your dish and set of box return. i will purchase from another company.
                                Is tata sky cheating me daily? is tata sky always cheat to their customer?

                                Tata Sky — cheating consumer

                                Hi

                                I bought a tata sky connection on 13th Nov from its website which says that installation will be done within 3-5 working days. It has been around 14 days and there is no poitive response from them. Every time I call them either they give me wrong commitment or my call is being disconnected. My money is got stuck they are not refunding my money. Is there any one who can help me and guide me where to approrach. I am planning to file a case in consumer court.

                                  You had offered me change of top box with latest MPEG type top box and I readily agreed. Your representative rang me up and asked for details of my residence to deliver the top box. Earlier you had asked me if I would like to take a one year warranty at Rs.500/- extra and I agreed. The person who installed the top box was not aware of the warranty and assured me that somebody from Tatasky will approach me with this. Whenever a Tatsky person asks me for the warranty I have always agreed for the warranty at payment of Rs.500/-. Even yesterday when Mr Purushottam spoke to me from Pune I explained my position. It is surprising that all electronic equipment normally carry a one year warranty and why tatasky cannot extend it to me. It is getting to be a month for this and so I am putting it in email as you cannot call back a tatasky number.
                                  An early action would be appreciated

                                    The company currently upgraded to mpeg4 from mpeg2.so i was asked by the company to change the setup box for free from them.but still now there is no proper response from the associates of the company and im currently not being to watch some channels.so pls take further actions against the company.
                                    Yes, Tata Sky is replacing old MPEG-2 STB's with new MPEG-4 STB's we only have to pay the warranty fees I guess. As of your channels issue you can address your complaint to tata sky’s official handle @tatasky. They will get in touch with you and assist you accordingly. I once faced an issue where I paid for the package amount but my account was de-activated. I tweeted regarding this complaint and tata sky immediately responded to my tweet. All I had to do is submit my subscriber ID. The customer service team instantly gave a callback and my account was activated. I suggest you too should provide your subscriber ID either here or tweet regarding your issue with this complaint link. I am sure they will look into your matter and resolve your issue.

                                      This complaint is regarding to tatasky helpline no.. According to my Knowledge 18......... series no.(Helpline No.) is always Tollfree no. ( No Chargeable) but TATASKY ( Company) charging for their helpline no.[protected]. And also they not mention anything on the website is it tollfree or chargeable.

                                      I find it herculean task to contact any helpline number of Tatasky. The associate does not pick the telephone and instead a recorded message asks to send sms message. When I sent it via sms, the reply was the telephone numbers to be contacted. Telephone is transferring tasks to Mobile message and Mobile message is transferring to land line or internet. Whatsoever, I have exhausted one full day on this account. My Mobile Number is [protected]. I will detach my consumership with Tatasky and will opt for another if don't get the response soon. I will not hesitate taking this matter to Consumer Court. Would you be kind enough to ask the company technical person to contact asap...

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I have been trying to contact your customer care services since last 10 days, but the customer care center used to keep me on hold for a long time (more than 15 minutes) but cannot contact with the concern. Hence according to me you are providing a worst service to us and are cheating. please dont play with the emotions of the people, if someone are trying to contact your service provider you should immediately reply to them.
                                      I suspect that must have happened because u called during peak hours. Try calling in non-peak hours. You may get through sooner.

                                        On 22nd April I paid in advance Rs5500 for our Mega Pack payment that was due for renewal on 27th July. It was paid in advance as I may not be in India at renewal time. I also paid 601 for 2 secondary digicoms.I was assured by a TataSky agent that on the 27th July our Mega Pack would be renewed from our balance.As of now they have done nothing..They adjusted my balance 5 times last year when I paid early. Now we are having to pay more for the MegaPack..no reply to an email sent with my complaint.
                                        You can address your complaint to tata sky’s official handle @tatasky. They will get in touch with you and assist you accordingly.
