I had purchased a LG LED tv on Jan'13. When we purchased, there was an offer for Tata sky with reduction in its price. So we gave Rs.500 as initial amount for tata sky. We were planning to vacate our house at the time of delivery. So they told us that the tata sky will be installed in our new house after we shifted. Therefore, the customer registration for tata sky installation was cancelled. 3 months over, yet there is no contact from tata sky or the lg dealer. When i contacted tata sky customer care, they didn't respond to my questions. They told that they are not responsible and we have to deal with the LG dealer only. We totally made 3 calls daily to the LG dealer and we went in person too for enquiry. But no response. The dealer will make a call to tata sky person who is responsible for the respective area. That's it. This is how its happening for 3 months. This was one of the worst experiences in my life. Live well Tata sky customer service. Hats off.

    My name is Ankur Sinha .My subscriber ID for tata sky is [protected].I am facing worst service which any service provider can provide.I raised a WO on 7/4/2013 (1-[protected]) to replace my set top box.Raghvendra Raju (mob no-[protected]) visited my home on same day and replaced my set top box.My set top box which was new and under warranty was replaced by an age old set top box.The set top box number was not visible on the set top box .Raghvendra Raju told me that he will call his manager Manjunath ([protected]) who is having set top box number and it will become active after 1 hour. I waited for two days and called multiple times Raghvendra and Manjunath but they rarely picked the phone and they closed the work order .I was forced to raise other work order on 9/4/2013 with number 1-[protected].After this work order Raghvendra Raju visited my place and replaced my set top box with another age old set top box.He left my place without giving demo.It was only once he left my place I realized that the remote sensor of this set top box was not working.I immediately informed Raghvendra and Manjunath about this.After calling multiple times Manjunath picked my call and told that it will be rectified and he will replace my box with new box.I kept on calling multiple times but they do not rectify the problem and closed this work order. I was forced to again raise a work order 1-[protected] on 10th April.Still after following up multiple times I am unable to watch cable TV.In mean time I have called the customer care service of TATA SKY for almost 30 times but still my issue is not resolved.On the top of this they also charged me for the set top box which is not in working condition.My warranty was till 7th April 2013 and on the same day I got my set top box replaced .But as TATA sky was not able to provide me a error free set top box till now they should not have charged me as it is entirely their poor service which forced me to get the set top box changed multiple times.
    If some Tata sky manager is reading this then please resolve my issue ASAP as I am getting frustrated with your poor service and false billing.

      MY TATA SKY SUBSCRIBER ID IS :[protected] AND I WAS TOLD BY THE TATA SKY EXECUTIVE IS THAT THERE WILL BE A 2 MONTHS FREE SUBSCRIPTION AND AFTER THAT THERE WILL BE Rs.280/- WILL BE CHARGED PER MONTH FOR THE PACK WHICH I HAD OPTED.
      THE PACKAGE NAME IS "GRAND SPORTS PACKAGE " .
      NOW TODAY WHEN I CONTACTED THEM ABOUT ADDITION OF CERTAIN NEW CHANNELS I GOT AN ANSWER FROM TATA SKY EXECUTIVE IS THAT THIS PACKAGE IS NO MORE AND THE CHARGES HAS BEEN INCREASED.
      I WAS NOT INFORMED BY ANY TATA SKY EXECUTIVE ABOUT THE PRICE REVISION AND ALSO THE AFTER SALES SERVICES OF TATA SKY IS VERY VERY PATHETIC.
      I AM CHEATED BY TATA SKY AND I WANT MY MONEY BACK AND I DO NOT WISH TO CONTINUE WITH TATA SKY.
      FURTHER I HAD TRIED TO CONTACT THE TATA SKY INDORE OFFICE (PH.NO.IS[protected]BUT NOBODY WAS PICKING MY PHONE.

      Tata Sky — Religious matter

      (TATA SKY)-They are showing jackey chan's-A CHINESE MOVIE on star gold channel and in the banner of this movie they had written the name of our lord{( ishwar avtaar sai baba)- I want to know is this fare ?
      why they are playing with our sentiments ?

      At the time when we get tata sky installed, the representative of tata sky told us about channel package of Rs:280/month. but they have been charging subscription of Rs:410/month . we want to change our subscription package from 410/month to 280/month.

        I am a consumer of tatasky since 2006 and my subscription ID is[protected]
        I pay my subscription in advance by charging Rs 500 when the next payment due date is given Now I find that as time goes the date of charging is getting reduced and recently I got an SMS stating that my monthly subscrption is Rs315 which is wrong. From where they got this magic amount I dont know since I have never opted for an extra channel nor did I ask for change of package

            i installed a tata sky HD+ RECORDER connection on 23/03/2013
            from 07/04/2013 (14 days) it is not working ,i have called so many times but their customer care executives only gave complaint numbers, every time i called them.Today it is fourth day but nobody come to solve the problem .They said you must wait .No one from tata sky came to my place from the date i complained regarding the same .Even they don't provide me their service center contact numbers.what should i do?

              I got my Tata sky reinstalled at my new location on 30th March'13. Since than I am not receiving few of the channels, especially channel 617, which was one of the main reason for switching to Tata sky connection from the local set top box connection.

              I made the complaint for this on the same day and since than I am doing a constant follow up on the complaint. Every time I call the customer care I am told that i will receive a call from the technician in 1 hr, but in vain. its a mental harassment for me to call you every day without any action.

              I am now done with the connection and want you to remove the connection and refund me the cost for installation and monthly subscription. Please take away the dish and the box and refund my money back (all the installation charges and the dish and box charges), due to this I am in a lose of Rs. 5000/- as I will have to again reinstall the local set top box which i disposed off after switching to Tata sky connection.

                On 26th Mar 2013 late evening the TataSky set top box started downloading latest software. The Download never completed the download even after 2hrs, so I called up the customer care at around 11.30PM.

                The next few days nobody contacted from Tata Sky, so called up again on 30th Mar 2013, I was shocked to hear from the customer care that the complaint was not registered so i asked them to register a complaint. I was told a technician would visit my place and he would call me up before coming to my place. at this stage I was not informed by the customer care executive about the charges. After this I immediately checked my TataSky account and I got the second shock, the daily amount was being deducted from my tatasky account even though I was unable to view any channels or packages.

                On 1st April 2013 one of the TataSky technician came late in the evening to my house and checked the set top box and told me he has to replace the box but he does not have it right now with him and he would return back tomorrow. The next day he came and replaced the box and found the adapter is not matching with the new set top box pin and he has to replace the adapter and it would be charged seperately.

                So after this I was able to view channels only for 1 day and I received a call from customer care on the fix, I told them to revert back the charges from the period 26th March, 2013 to 1st April, 2013 which the cc executive reverted after a long heated argument of around Rs 65.

                One day passed and I got another shock when my balance in the tatsky account showed a negative balance of Rs.442, I immediately called the customer care again and I was told the following are the charges

                Rs.225 for set top box
                Rs.150 for Service charges
                Rs.125 for Adapter replacement

                I told them that why I was not informed about these charges before fixing they had no answer and why they did not raise a complaint immediately when I called them on 26th March 2013. I refused to pay any service charge at that point for poor service provided and the adapter which I originally had was working fine and the technician had to change as it did not match the set top box.

                Finally on 6th April morning I called the customer care again to cancel the connection and refund any amount applicable at the time of returning the set top box, I was told that backend team would get back to cancel the connection.

                Nobody called till 7th April 2013 afternoon and I called them back to process the cancel request, the customer care executive said he will forward my call to a supervisor to speak to him. The supervisor told me to recharge for 450 or 500 to reactivate the account as it was deactivated due to low balance and in order to revert back the charges I have to recharge the account, to reactivate and to revert back the charges. The supervisor assured that the following charges would be reverted back as follows and some one would call me from tatasky to update the same

                Rs. 150 for service charges
                Rs. 125 for adapter
                5 days of viewing period from 26th March to 1 April 2013

                the following would be deducted from account Rs 225 for Set top box for replacement

                However, when I received a call the same day 7th April 2013 I was shocked to hear that only Rs 150 for service charges would be reverted back and the rest of the charges would be still applicable and it would be deducted, by this time I had already recharged the account with Rs.450

                I would not only like to get back the money I recharged and cancel the connection I would like a complete refund of the initial security deposit.

                  my tata sky subscriber id is : [protected] and registered mobile number is [protected]
                  it's been about 9 days till today , i registered a complaint with tata sky regarding No Signal Status to my set top box.......as these useless don't have a toll free number also till date i lost about 100 rupees talktime......when i call them regarding my complaint they say tomorrow there for sure there will be a visit from our technical team and till date their tomorrow never came.......someone plz help me in solving this and teach those a moral lesson that what are customers and what they can do if they get pissed off

                    Before recharging my TATA Sky account ([protected]) today(01.04.2013) my balance was Rs. 4.76/- . I then recharged with Rs.155/- as per my monthly plan .
                    After recharge my balance is only Rs. 144 and I again need to recharge on 29th April 2013 where as my plan is valid for 30 Days.
                    This has been happening for past 3 months repeatedly. I need to recharge twice every month with Rs. ( 155+155) 310/- whereas my plan is of only Rs. 155.

                      On March 24 2013, on switching on my TV I found that my TataSky+ HD connection was malfunctioning. So I called the helpline on the 24th, in the evening. I explained the problem and I was told that it was a software problem and therefore, a technician will be sent the next day to set things right. I was told that the technician will come home at about 10:00 am on the 25th.

                      The so-called Mr Technician finally arrived on March 26, at 01:30pm, this after repeated phone calls and follow-up during the intervening hours. Worse I had to be at home for all this time just in case the Mr Technician kindly drops in!

                      Then, Mr Technician wanted Rs 350 to fix the problem which was a malfunctioning component on the sat-dish antenna. When I refused to pay without a bill, he quietly said it will be charged to my account. On March 27, I found that I have been charged Rs 75 for replacing the component and Rs 150 for Mr Technician’s visit.

                      Now, in end of December 2012, the TataSky people on their own had changed the sat-dish antenna because they wanted to install a double-cable system. With the component failing in three months’ time I am now being forced to pay for its failure. I was told that the component comes with no warranty; that comes as no surprise because TataSky is obviously using components of sub-standard quality to cut corners. More galling is I am being asked to pay Rs 150 for Mr Technician’s visit, which happened more than 24 hours late! Shouldn’t TataSky compensate me for wasting an entire day while waiting for the technician?

                      In the past I had been happy with the prompt service provided by TataSky, and in fact I had recommended them to many friends. Now I find the quality of their service has deteriorated precipitously; the call centre people manning the helplines are least helpful in trying to solve a customer’s problem – they don’t even want to understand the problem ill-trained as they are in communication etiquette. And the out-sourced field service team doesn’t even bother to keep time. In short, I presume with success, TataSky has started taking their customer for granted as most Indian businesses do.

                        For TV digitizing Companies viz. Tata, Reliance, Airtel, Dish TV),

                        I am planning to buy a set top box, but I see that Peace TV Urdu is not available in the list of channels. I request the Indian Govt. and DTH officials to include Peace TV channel, when there are other religious channels shown on TV then why not Peace TV. Why the biased behavior when it comes to Indian Muslims and their TV channels? Is this secular for a country where Muslims are the second largest population and their channels are not being telecast?

                          ON THE 11TH MARCH 2013 WHEN I CALLED THE CUSTOMER CARE FOR ENQUIRING FOR A MULTI-TV CONNECTION, THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE COERCED ME INTO MAKING AN ONLINE IVR PAYMENT OF RS.2599/- FOR AN HD SET TOP BOX WITHOUT VERIFYING IF I HAVE A HD TV. I DIDN’T WAN’T TO PAY ONLINE & WANTED TO RECHARGE MY ACCOUNT FROM WHICH THEY WOULD HAVE DEDUCTED THE PAYMENT, BUT STILL HE INSISTED THAT I PAY THROUGH IVR

                          THE ORDER WAS CANCELLED ON 12TH MARCH 2013 SINCE HD WASN’T COMPATIBLE TO MY TV. THEY ASSURED THAT I SHALL RECEIVE A CALL FROM THEIR “BACK END” AND THE AMOUNT WILL BE REFUNDED WITHIN 8 DAYS WHICH HAS NOT HAPPENED TILL DATE.
                          EVERY DAY I AM CALLING THEIR HELP LINE BUT THEY ARE JUST NOT DOING ANYTHING ACCEPT MAKING FALSE PROMISES THAT IT WILL HAPPEN BY THE 21ST AND NOW 29TH. THEY ARE ALSO NOT GIVING ANY DETAILS OF THEIR SUPERIORS FOR FURTHER ESCALATION.

                          THE COMPANY HAS NO RIGHT TO KEEP THE MONEY, THEY HAVE NO RESPONSIBLE PERSON WHO CAN ACTUALLY SOLVE THE PROBLEM.

                          I AND MY FAMILY ARE BEING HARASSED UNNECESSARILY JUST BECAUSE WE CHOSE THE TATA SKY SERVICE

                          TataSky — unnecessary harassment

                          I do not have a Tatasky connection still i get SMS notice on offers, promotions, last date of renewal, late payment charges, bill amounts etc. I have registered in DND in Vodafone still i get this harassment. I do not have a number from the sender of this tatasky to call & unregister.

                            I have paid to tatasky through credit card for hd instalation and paid rs 2865 on 3feb 2013, but they have not installed due to old tv set which will not ketch the hd set of box. The work order was cancelled by no 1-[protected] against tatasky id no[protected] and cancellation was approved by cancellation no [protected] dt 4mar13. Even after no of telephone calls to their customer care section the refund has not been made. Their auto response request reference no 1-[protected]. My e-mail id is mr. [protected]@rediffmail.com and mobile no [protected]. I request you to pl take up with tatasky and get me the refund of rs 2865 credited in their account through gredit card. Thanks.                             Tata Sky — Refund of money

                            I am Using Tata sky for last three years. my subscription ID is [protected]. I have lodged my request on 04th dec 2010. till 11th evening there was no hearing. what a stupid thing they have done is they are saying that on 04th dec 2010 there was request for relocation. and i dont know i havent given any request for it and they have deducted rs. 450 from my account. i have given request many times but till date there is no response from them. when i have given a request on 4th they said within 48 hrs this matter will be resolved. but nobody have called me to resolve this. i called couple of times and lodged my complaint.

                            Tata Sky — Money still not refunded

                            Complaint number of TATA Sky recharge:SR[protected], My tata sky ID:[protected], Rs.500 was debited from the account on 26th June 2011, They said due to the failure of online transaction the money would be refunded in 7 working days then they said 10 working days and now its nearly a month that the money still has not been refunded. The complaint was done 3 times before still was assured that money would be refunded. Still not refunded.

                                Since 07.3.2013 to till date 15.3.2013, I had made many requests on Tata Sky Help line No[protected] for shifting of my Tata Sky Dish as a tree is obstructing in receiving the signals. (My Complaints can be verified from your Computer Data on Help Line No[protected]. I had also told the problem to Tata Sky Senior Executives sitting at Pune and Mohali but Tata Sky Engineers sitting at Sector -64, Noida has not turned up and they disposed off the complaint at their own, without attending it. I also like to inform you that the Dish where it is installed was installed by engineer of Tata Sky in 2007.

                                I never expected such a irresponsible behavior from a reputed company " Tata Sky"

                                my tata sky dish is not working. my complaint has been ignored by the company. the person i spoke to tells me after 2 days, that he can't help me because of a bank holiday. my complaint is that these big companies think that we are fools, to hold for 2 days and keep paying the phone bills as well as waste my holiday time sitting like a bum on he phone.

                                I am very disappointed by your BSNL Free helpline No.[protected]. I have to try for atleast 4 to 5 time then I get connected, otherwise i hear recorded voice "THIS NO. DOES NOT EXISTS".

                                I am having tata sky disc since 3 years. My ID is [protected] VIJAY KANERIA


                                On 19th July I disconnected TATASKY for 3 months. My cancellation No. was 1-[protected] 1-[protected], Now I want to restart. So yesterday I called on helpline no.[protected] for atleast 5 times. Evertytime I have to dial the no. for 5 times, then I get connected. After that I have to hear your music for 3 minutes, till your lazy staff answers me. I inform my ID No., they tell me to wait for few minutes. But unfortunately after 7 minutes I have to hear sweet voice "SORRY THERE IS NO RESPONSE". Yesterday I wasted more than an hour in view of above matter. Every time after 7 minutes I hear the same sentence " SORRY. YOUR TIME IS UP.or something like that.

                                Yesterday I also contacted Mr. NIRAV AMBANI ( who use to charge my tatasky voucher since 2 years) whose mobile no. is [protected]. He told me to keeep digicomp on. I kept my digicomp on for 2 to 3 hours, but yet it did not started. Today also Niravbhai told me that I have REFRESHED so keep digicomp on. I kept digicomp on for another 3 hours but still in vain. He told me to logon to mytatasky and do the needful


                                Today I loged on to mytatasky.com , whereby I filled up Digicomp No. ID No. password No.. But then also it shows Invalid Subscriber ID/RMN or Password . Though I take due care in filling the Nos and password I get the same message of INVALID.

                                Third option for me was to search for your dealer in Rajkot. But that also your hopless website give me the message as under :

                                Sorry. No details Available.

                                Tata Sky Dish — Tata Sky dish not received

                                I had purchase LG LED dated 07.10.2010 from Shnehanjali shoroom at Milra Road and Tata sky dish also but till date I have not received TATA sky dish. pl look into this matter and solve my problem as early as possible my TATA SKY Copun no 6036419 my contact No. [protected] Mr. Shrikant Powar

                                  Since morning of 15/3/13 no TV reception , When Set top is switched on the message informs that yor are not getting signals. This is happening to all 91 residents of this apartment complex. Repeated reqests to customer care has not rectified the problem. All residents are unhappy with the services.

                                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                                    I have spoken to different consultants of tatasky. Regularly complained since Sept2012 through phone via online chat support of tatasky.

                                    Reason:
                                    Some Fraud Installer Using my Subcribers ID
                                    I have been charged for two multi connections which are not mine.
                                    i complained to remove the connection from sept2012 are not used by me.

                                    On 18Aug2012 for my new HDPVR set top box, one of your Tatasky Installer exchanged these 2 set top box.

                                    Its been long time now nothing happened.

                                    All these days i have to pay from my pocket for these extra connections.

                                    The tatasky consultants deactivate and after few days again it been activated.

                                    The tatasky consultants now says that there will be no refund as you complained now on 8 mar2013, but i told them that i complained long back.

                                    so please Advise me for the above

                                    ANYBODY WHO KNOWS A TATASKY SUBSCRIBERS ID CAN CHANGE THE PLAN OR CAN MAKE CHANGES OF THAT ACCOUNT

                                    THIS IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST DRAWBACK OF TATASKY

                                    THIS IS THE BIGGEST ADVANTAGE FOR SOME FRAUD INSTALLERS

                                    THE FRAUD INSTALLERS CHEAT A NEW CUSTOMER BY SUPPLYING THE OLD CUSTOMERS SETUP BOX AND GET THE CASH OF NEW CONNECTION.

                                    THE OLD CUSTOMER HAS TO PAY FOR THE MULTICONNECTION AND NEW CUSTOMER ALREADY HANDED OVER THE CASH TO THE FRAUD INSTALLER.
                                    You can address your complaint to tata sky’s official handle @tatasky. They will look into your issue and cancel the charges of the multi-tv connection. I once faced an issue where I paid for the package amount but my account was de-activated. I tweeted regarding this complaint and tata sky immediately responded to my tweet. All I had to do is submit my subscriber ID. The customer service team instantly gave a callback and my account was activated. I suggest you too should provide your subscriber ID either here or tweet regarding your issue with this complaint link. I am sure they will look into your matter and resolve it.

                                      I have started my multi TV in my TataSky connection at the time of inquiry they tell me you will get 1moth subscription free + second connection will free for month. they charged for the both of them to me and directly cut the amount from my account.

                                      I do talk to customer care but they not reply me properly.

                                        My Self Kalpesh Parmar resident of Ahmedabad,Gujarat.
                                        My Tata Sky ID is [protected], I am using Tata Sky service since 21 February,2012 with HD.

                                        My request/problem is that since We are residents of Gujarat State obviously we would prefer to watch the Gujarati Channels.
                                        Ofcourse Tata sky provides us E Tv Guajarati, TV9 Guajarati and GSTV to view but our main gujarati channel DD Girnar which Tatasky should broadcast we cant see it in full screen.Tata sky provides us DD Gujarati in very small screen (active door darshan) which we can not see as other channels.

                                        As per norms of Broadcasting Department of India TATA sky should broad cast the DD Girnar in full screen.
                                        In this matter I frequently requested and gave complaint to TATA sky customer care but till date no action taken from TATA Sky in this matter.
                                        After all we have right to see our regional channel DD Girnar to see in full screen.
                                        Waiting for earlier response in the matter.
